- 0:00Speaker 1: There are multiple avenues that they could be pursuing here,
- 0:02Speaker 1: but apparently JB's the one and Old Key's the only
- 0:05Speaker 1: guy with money.
- 0:06Speaker 2: He's the ticket master of rodeo here.
- 0:28Speaker 1: Hey everyone, welcome to you Girls Gone Hallmark, a Hallmark

- 1:03Speaker 1: and also if you want to email us anytime, Megan
- 1:05Speaker 1: and Windy at gmail dot com, quick check in before
- 1:08Speaker 1: we get into this episode on your like trajectory of
- 1:13Speaker 1: ride enjoyment. Are we on an upward trend or a
- 1:16Speaker 1: downward trend? Or we just like fully flatlined? You can
- 1:20Speaker 1: be honest. I will say that when this episode started
- 1:25Speaker 1: I was like, is this whole episode gonna be about weather?
- 1:29Speaker 2: Right?
- 1:30Speaker 1: And then it had like two minutes of excitement towards
- 1:35Speaker 1: the end, just enough to really just enough to go mmm.
- 1:39Speaker 1: But again, I just feel like there's nothing happening. Well,
- 1:45Speaker 1: let's talk about what is happening. How about we start
- 1:47Speaker 1: with a synopsis. Okay, Missy brings Cash as her plus
- 1:50Speaker 1: one to the Frontier barbecue, but Cash feels out of
- 1:53Speaker 1: place when his biggest competition, Hudson Cooper shows up too.
- 1:58Speaker 1: So why don't we start by talking about the barbecue
- 2:00Speaker 1: of it all? Okay, can I just say, first of all,
- 2:04Speaker 1: Cash is so annoying in this entire episode fly because
- 2:09Speaker 1: he's riddled with self.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Doubt or what.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Yeah, well, okay, that's a very nice perspective on it.
- 2:18Speaker 1: I'm just like, dude, all of these people are showing
- 2:21Speaker 1: up to help you. Missy is driving you two hours
- 2:25Speaker 1: to this barbecue for your career. Sure, she's got her
- 2:28Speaker 1: influencer BS, she needs to be there, but she's doing
- 2:31Speaker 1: this for you. And the entire time they're at that barbecue,
- 2:35Speaker 1: she's on cash pr patrol. And the entire time he's like,
- 2:39Speaker 1: I gotta get out of here. I hate this. I
- 2:41Speaker 1: shouldn't be here. This is a repeat from episode three
- 2:47Speaker 1: when Isabelle's trying to prep him for the gala. I
- 2:50Speaker 1: know you didn't see the episode, but there's this whole
- 2:52Speaker 1: through line of like, she needs him to be ready
- 2:55Speaker 1: to have discussions with these men who are going to
- 2:58Speaker 1: be there, and he pushes back and pushes back and
- 3:01Speaker 1: pushes back. She's doing it for you. Isabelle was doing
- 3:04Speaker 1: it for you. Missy is doing it for you. I
- 3:06Speaker 1: just want to smack him in the face. Okay, So
- 3:10Speaker 1: a couple of questions. Do you think he hasn't said
- 3:14Speaker 1: this explicitly, but like, do you think he just wants
- 3:17Speaker 1: to ride? He just wants to show them, like what
- 3:20Speaker 1: he can do. He doesn't want to be like this spokesperson,
- 3:24Speaker 1: this pitch man, this like you know, because Missy and
- 3:27Speaker 1: Isabelle are basically like, we have to sell you, right.
- 3:31Speaker 1: I think Missy and Isabelle see the big picture, and
- 3:34Speaker 1: the big picture is you can't just ride because you
- 3:38Speaker 1: need money to be able to do that. You need
- 3:40Speaker 1: a sponsor behind you. And that's the name of the game.
- 3:43Speaker 1: We're not independently wealthy, we're not funding you. We need
- 3:46Speaker 1: a JB on our side. Well, it makes sense because
- 3:49Speaker 1: like Austin, you know, the very little we see of him.
- 3:52Speaker 1: He was that guy, you know, he stepped into that
- 3:56Speaker 1: like spotlight. I think he enjoyed it, whereas is like
- 4:01Speaker 1: the rebel, he doesn't want to do it. Yeah, Austin does,
- 4:04Speaker 1: from what we know, seem to be better at the
- 4:07Speaker 1: pr machine of it all. And I get that that's
- 4:10Speaker 1: not what cash is about. But you are not new
- 4:13Speaker 1: to the rodeo game. Your r was a rodeo writer,
- 4:16Speaker 1: your brother was a rodeo writer. This is how you
- 4:19Speaker 1: played the game. Just deal with it, I hear you.
- 4:23Speaker 1: I kind of like the trajector you're on with Missy's
- 4:26Speaker 1: ambassadorship in that it's getting pushed back in terms of
- 4:30Speaker 1: its relevance as a storyline. It was acknowledged, that's why
- 4:34Speaker 1: she got the invitation to the barbecue. There was mentions
- 4:38Speaker 1: of it here and there, but it's not front and center.
- 4:41Speaker 1: And I kind of like that. Oh me too, because
- 4:44Speaker 1: I think that was a stupid storyline. Yes, and I
- 4:47Speaker 1: think it's a real c storyline, Like that's not how
- 4:50Speaker 1: Missy gets back to herself. Now, let me ask you
- 4:54Speaker 1: the barbecue host Susan, Is that GB's wife? A great question.
- 5:00Speaker 1: I wonder that as well. It certainly seemed like it
- 5:03Speaker 1: right right, it did, and then of course you know
- 5:05Speaker 1: I missed episode three, but she tells Missy in this
- 5:09Speaker 1: episode when they arrive at the barbecue, like you still
- 5:11Speaker 1: owe me a trick ride? Is this the chick that
- 5:13Speaker 1: was pushing for like all the Missy to do her
- 5:15Speaker 1: tricks again? Yes, and she was the one who came
- 5:19Speaker 1: to the ranch to film Missy doing her tricks and
- 5:22Speaker 1: then Missy bailed out. Her name is Susan Young. What
- 5:25Speaker 1: the heck is JB's name like Wooten or something like that,
- 5:30Speaker 1: JB Wooten. Yeah, it felt like she was almost the
- 5:34Speaker 1: hostess of this party at JB's home. And the way
- 5:38Speaker 1: they talked like, oh, I need JB's barbecue recipe, it
- 5:41Speaker 1: felt more intimate than co workers. Mmmmm. But we never
- 5:45Speaker 1: see the two of them, Susan and JB together in
- 5:48Speaker 1: this episode now noe Okay, Yeah, I wondered that as well.
- 5:51Speaker 1: At this barbecue, we meet Hudson, who's another bull rider
- 5:55Speaker 1: real Wowie's Howie. He is apparently being courted by Frontier
- 6:00Speaker 1: Thank you as well, and Cash is me like we
- 6:03Speaker 1: gotta go, we gotta get out of here, and I
- 6:05Speaker 1: kind of get it, because as annoyed as I was,
- 6:08Speaker 1: you don't want to be second best. You don't want
- 6:10Speaker 1: to be embarrassed, like you're trying to weasel your way
- 6:14Speaker 1: in there. Hudson was kind of a real stand up
- 6:17Speaker 1: guy about the whole thing. He's just gonna he's gonna
- 6:20Speaker 1: be like collateral damage in all of this because look,
- 6:24Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you, in the end, I'm sure Frontier
- 6:26Speaker 1: is gonna end up signing cash, right, and then we'll
- 6:29Speaker 1: never hear from Hudson again. That's a good point. Or
- 6:31Speaker 1: someone's gonna they're gonna find their way because Isabelle is
- 6:36Speaker 1: so against being under the thumb of Jabie Wooden. True,
- 6:41Speaker 1: So I wonder if they're gonna find like maybe Frontier
- 6:44Speaker 1: isn't the be all end all, Maybe there's another way. Mmmm,
- 6:47Speaker 1: that's funny. I don't know what it is. That's a
- 6:49Speaker 1: good question because you're telling me this, like Denim company
- 6:53Speaker 1: is the only big name money sponsor the video. Right,
- 6:59Speaker 1: there's not a beer brand that you could give a
- 7:02Speaker 1: high and a buckle brand, a cowboy hat brand. There's
- 7:07Speaker 1: gonna be so boots.
- 7:09Speaker 2: There are other avenues.
- 7:11Speaker 1: Here, even like bodycare, right, like manly men bodycare like
- 7:15Speaker 1: we would get in the rodeo game like acts for adults.
- 7:19Speaker 1: I don't know what that is, but you know what
- 7:22Speaker 1: I'm saying, Like, there are multiple avenues that they could
- 7:25Speaker 1: be pursuing here, but apparently JB is the one and only,
- 7:28Speaker 1: like he's the only guy with money.
- 7:30Speaker 2: He's the ticketmaster of rodeo here.
- 7:37Speaker 1: That's amazing. Well, I did think it was kind of
- 7:39Speaker 1: funny how JB just was totally blew off cash like
- 7:44Speaker 1: he was like not interested in his conversation or anything.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Like he wasn't even a guest. He was a plus
- 7:54Speaker 1: one at this barbecue. Yeah, he blew him off right
- 7:56Speaker 1: up until the moment he gave him some grilling tip. Okay,
- 7:59Speaker 1: I have a question of that. Super side note, do
- 8:02Speaker 1: you cook your hamburger patties? Are you a flipper or
- 8:05Speaker 1: a one time flipper? I'm a one time flipper. See,
- 8:09Speaker 1: I'm terrible at cooking hamburgers.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Huh.
- 8:12Speaker 1: They're always way overdone because I think I leave them
- 8:15Speaker 1: on way too long. But I like flip and flip
- 8:17Speaker 1: and flip and flip and flip and flip. Is there
- 8:19Speaker 1: a trick? I have absolutely no idea, because you know,
- 8:23Speaker 1: when you cook chicken. Here's the chick.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Here.
- 8:25Speaker 1: There's the trick I learned is like it's you cook
- 8:29Speaker 1: it on one side until you see that it's white,
- 8:31Speaker 1: and then you'll flip it over and then it's done.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Well okay, I mean really the only way to know
- 8:36Speaker 1: it's done is with their meat thermometer, right, Like that's
- 8:38Speaker 1: how you should test if your meat's done. Like the
- 8:40Speaker 1: color of the meat is not a test.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Do you do that?
- 8:43Speaker 1: Well, we had a barbecue meat thermometer that we lost
- 8:47Speaker 1: an unfortunate flare up incident. Like you know, the juices
- 8:53Speaker 1: from the meat ripped off. There was was it sticking.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Out of like a patty.
- 9:00Speaker 1: You were just testing it and then the fire came
- 9:02Speaker 1: up and melted it. No, what happened is we had
- 9:08Speaker 1: a very nice blue tee meat thermometer and it had
- 9:12Speaker 1: like multiple probes and it had an external monitor, so
- 9:17Speaker 1: it had like little cords to the external monitor, and
- 9:21Speaker 1: that monitor also connected to your phone so you could
- 9:24Speaker 1: set like the temperature of the meat. And we were
- 9:25Speaker 1: cooking like a tri tip or something, and you know,
- 9:27Speaker 1: there was a flare up inside it got way too hot.
- 9:30Speaker 1: Nothing melted, it just like fried the internal workings of
- 9:34Speaker 1: this meat thermometer. So we're currently using the look and
- 9:39Speaker 1: hope for the best method, but I think before summer
- 9:41Speaker 1: we will get another meat thermometer because I am always
- 9:44Speaker 1: afraid of undercooking me and murdering my entire family with
- 9:48Speaker 1: some sort of meat born bacterias. Can I tell you
- 9:51Speaker 1: a really quick Paris story please? After visiting the Eiffel Tower,
- 9:56Speaker 1: we went to this restaurant that was across the street.
- 9:58Speaker 2: It was very busy.
- 9:59Speaker 1: Were like, okay, that's probably safe, let's just go there
- 10:02Speaker 1: because you know, there was probably a lot of American
- 10:04Speaker 1: tourists there. It was, you know whatever. My husband and
- 10:06Speaker 1: I both order hamburgers and it comes out so fast,
- 10:10Speaker 1: and I could see as he was setting it down
- 10:13Speaker 1: it was so raw, and I was like, well, maybe
- 10:17Speaker 1: like that's just like here how they like you know,
- 10:21Speaker 1: but literally like it was like, uh, you know how
- 10:25Speaker 1: when they cook tuna, how they just like sear those
- 10:27Speaker 1: Oh no, it was full raw meat on the inside,
- 10:32Speaker 1: and like my husband and I both didn't eat it.
- 10:35Speaker 1: And then the waiter, who was so nice, was like,
- 10:38Speaker 1: I'm sorry, guys, I'm sorry, I know this is terrible.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Oh wow, And he was like so apologetic and it
- 10:47Speaker 1: was just like so funny and we were like, whoa,
- 10:50Speaker 1: that was the raws hamburger we've ever seen, Like still
- 10:53Speaker 1: cold on the inside. It was it was it was
- 10:56Speaker 1: like red like it hadn't even like come together, you
- 10:59Speaker 1: know what I'm talking about? Like, yeah, I mean and
- 11:02Speaker 1: you can eat, you know, they do something. I know,
- 11:04Speaker 1: But I would not beef tartar. That's not for me. Yeah,
- 11:07Speaker 1: on every menu in France by the way, but no,
- 11:11Speaker 1: this was not for me. I enjoyed the French fries. Yeah.
- 11:17Speaker 1: The most exciting part of the barbecue has nothing to
- 11:19Speaker 1: do with cash. It's all about missy mm hmmm and
- 11:24Speaker 1: mystery woman Polly. Do you think Astroon had an affair?
- 11:27Speaker 2: Well?
- 11:28Speaker 1: Here this is what's I was like, is this hold
- 11:32Speaker 1: is she having a baby? No? Hold on, no, no, no.
- 11:36Speaker 1: I was like, are they foreshadowing with this storm? Like
- 11:40Speaker 1: this storm's coming right? They were like, everybody's bracing for
- 11:44Speaker 1: this big storms that's gonna hap to is Pollie the storm?
- 11:48Speaker 1: What's happening? I doubt it. But do I think Austin
- 11:52Speaker 1: was having an affair?
- 11:53Speaker 2: Sure? Why not?
- 11:55Speaker 1: On the Hallmark Channel? I don't know.
- 11:56Speaker 2: It's possible.
- 11:57Speaker 1: I don't think it's not possible. I wonder if it's
- 12:00Speaker 1: perhaps too easy of an answer for what Pollie's doing here.
- 12:05Speaker 1: All she says to Missy is you don't want to know.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Now.
- 12:08Speaker 1: If I were Missy, there is zero chance that I
- 12:11Speaker 1: would let her walk away after that, I'd be like, absolutely,
- 12:13Speaker 1: I do you tell me right now to tell out
- 12:16Speaker 1: my husband? Of course I don't want to know, but
- 12:18Speaker 1: also I need you to know. So what is your opinion?
- 12:22Speaker 1: You think perhaps something the farious was going on, but
- 12:26Speaker 1: I don't know what it was. Would I believe he
- 12:29Speaker 1: was having an affair? Yes, I'm not Austin's biggest fan.
- 12:33Speaker 1: They have not sold me on Austin being the good
- 12:35Speaker 1: guy in this scenario. Right, And then I don't think
- 12:40Speaker 1: we've seen the last of Polly. No, I'm sure we'll
- 12:42Speaker 1: see her again. Am I intrigued by her storyline? Sure?
- 12:45Speaker 2: But Austin is dead.
- 12:48Speaker 1: How is this going to affect Missy now in present day? Yeah,
- 12:51Speaker 1: that's a great question. We don't know what his big
- 12:53Speaker 1: secret was that he pulled Valaria out, sent her on
- 12:57Speaker 1: this mission that she says was running away from her
- 13:00Speaker 1: poker deets, and perhaps the poker dets were her secret
- 13:05Speaker 1: that he was protecting her from. But what was his secret?
- 13:08Speaker 1: We don't know that yet. And I guess the question
- 13:13Speaker 1: for me is if Valeria to go back to her
- 13:16Speaker 1: poker dets. If that were the case, why is Tucker
- 13:19Speaker 1: Clark still following her all over town? Why is she
- 13:21Speaker 1: still meeting with him in the bar? Why are we
- 13:23Speaker 1: still seeing him?
- 13:24Speaker 2: Like food? But is he?
- 13:25Speaker 1: I don't feel like i've seen him since episode two. Well,
- 13:28Speaker 1: but we've seen him since she's returned. You're right, we
- 13:32Speaker 1: haven't seen him, but we saw him after the rodeo,
- 13:37Speaker 1: and we saw her and Force meeting up with him
- 13:40Speaker 1: in the bar. Why is she having those meetings with
- 13:44Speaker 1: him still if she's paid off her debt? Yeah, because
- 13:47Speaker 1: that's a false truth. I agree, I agree. I just
- 13:50Speaker 1: feel like there's questions that are left unanswered. Meanwhile, back
- 13:54Speaker 1: at the ranch, a store was coming.
- 13:56Speaker 2: Oh my gosh.
- 13:57Speaker 1: Now, let me just say this episode was chuck full
- 14:02Speaker 1: of sunny weather cliches from Red Sky at Night Sailors Slide,
- 14:09Speaker 1: and they did it over and over and over again.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Teamwork makes the dream work, et cetera. There were so
- 14:15Speaker 1: many I did not write them all down because nobody cares.
- 14:17Speaker 1: But when I saw the title of this episode, I
- 14:20Speaker 1: was like, Wow, they're really phoning it in, calling it
- 14:23Speaker 1: when it rains, And then I realized, I think there
- 14:25Speaker 1: was more thought put into it than that, because you've
- 14:27Speaker 1: got when it rains, it pours, and it does really
- 14:30Speaker 1: cover the entire episode and it fits in with all
- 14:33Speaker 1: the cliches. Anyway, we got this storm coming apparent. It's
- 14:36Speaker 1: a big problem. They're going to ruin. The storm is
- 14:39Speaker 1: going to ruin all that hate that they have on
- 14:41Speaker 1: the ranch, right yeah, which kind of blew my mind.
- 14:45Speaker 1: I'm like, hey, can't get wet. I don't maybe once
- 14:50Speaker 1: it's bailed and then it gets like deep in there
- 14:52Speaker 1: and you can't dry it out. I don't know. We're
- 14:55Speaker 1: ranch dummies. I have no idea, Like we are ranch dummies.
- 14:58Speaker 1: But are you to tell me that it doesn't rain often?
- 15:03Speaker 1: Where do they What state are they supposed to be
- 15:05Speaker 1: living in? Colorado?
- 15:07Speaker 2: Oh?
- 15:07Speaker 1: Well, Colorado. It's very sunny there a lot, right, yes,
- 15:10Speaker 1: but our friend Jenny lives there and I don't know
- 15:12Speaker 1: when harvest season is, but it was snowing in Colorado
- 15:15Speaker 1: yesterday in April. So hmm, all I'm saying is this
- 15:18Speaker 1: feels like a very stressful thing to be at the
- 15:20Speaker 1: mercy of Like, got to get it out of there
- 15:23Speaker 1: before the rain comes. How did the hay get put
- 15:26Speaker 1: out there? If their tractors don't work? Well, they harvest
- 15:32Speaker 1: the hay and they roll it up into those big bails.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Oh oh okay, Now this makes sense because I was like,
- 15:37Speaker 1: what is this harvest dinner they're talking about?
- 15:40Speaker 2: Yeah? I didn't know.
- 15:41Speaker 1: So so they produced the hay on their ranch. Then
- 15:49Speaker 1: I know, I sound like such a demy. Where does
- 15:51Speaker 1: hay come from? I have no freaking idea, honestly. And
- 15:54Speaker 1: then they roll it up into big bales and then
- 15:56Speaker 1: they sell it to somebody. And then they got to
- 15:58Speaker 1: bring in those bales and they sell it to somebody. Yeah, okay,
- 16:01Speaker 1: that makes sense why they didn't want their product to
- 16:03Speaker 1: get wet. Now, sure got it. So we've got a
- 16:06Speaker 1: number of things happening on the ranch. Who are you
- 16:08Speaker 1: Which one of these pairings are you most interested in?
- 16:11Speaker 3: Well?
- 16:11Speaker 1: I think we should save the best for last. But
- 16:14Speaker 1: let's first talk about the Isabelle Hank conversation. First of all,
- 16:18Speaker 1: I'd like to ask you a question. Do you believe me?
- 16:20Speaker 1: Now that Hank might have feelings for Isabelle, I mean
- 16:25Speaker 1: maybe I think I feel like he's more there as
- 16:29Speaker 1: like a friend of the family. Yes, I can believe
- 16:34Speaker 1: that too, and also he wants her on his side.
- 16:37Speaker 1: But when he shows up and he's like, oh, you've
- 16:39Speaker 1: got the murt cooking Isabelle, doesn't matter what it is,
- 16:42Speaker 1: it'll be delicious. I wrote in my notes, I still
- 16:45Speaker 1: think he's sweet on her. But we've got this whole
- 16:47Speaker 1: storyline right that he wants to start his own Canyon rodeo. Yeah,
- 16:53Speaker 1: it's gonna bring all the people to Canyon, and he
- 16:55Speaker 1: wants to do it on McMurray ranch. Is that what
- 16:59Speaker 1: he was? That's why he needs all That's why he
- 17:02Speaker 1: needs Isabelle on board. I don't think he ever says it,
- 17:07Speaker 1: but that we're going to do it here on the
- 17:10Speaker 1: McMurray ranch. But the reason I think that is he's like,
- 17:13Speaker 1: we could have a McMurray museum. Yeah, I thought he
- 17:17Speaker 1: was like angling for all the memorabilia and then that
- 17:20Speaker 1: would be the draw for people. I think that is certainly,
- 17:25Speaker 1: I think that's a tie in. But why else does
- 17:28Speaker 1: he need Isabelle on board? Like he can do. She
- 17:31Speaker 1: has no money, she has nothing to offer him except
- 17:33Speaker 1: for the memorabilia. But why does he need her on board?
- 17:38Speaker 1: He needs the land. I think, yeah, I'm not sure.
- 17:40Speaker 1: I do remember him saying at one point like, I
- 17:43Speaker 1: have the designs and I have the location, but I
- 17:46Speaker 1: didn't know if the location actually meant like their ranch
- 17:49Speaker 1: or somewhere else. Emails Megan and Wendy at gmail dot com,
- 17:53Speaker 1: please yeah. And throughout this episode, I was like, I wrote,
- 18:00Speaker 1: Isabelle hates Rodeo. Now towards the end of the episode,
- 18:04Speaker 1: I get more perspective on this, but I was like,
- 18:09Speaker 1: it's such a clash, like she's she hates it so much.
- 18:12Speaker 1: It feels like she's like pushing back against this. Cash
- 18:16Speaker 1: is still a bull rider. But in the very end
- 18:19Speaker 1: of the episode, she's like, I don't want to profit
- 18:22Speaker 1: off of my boys, And I was like, I get it.
- 18:26Speaker 1: I get that, I get it. I have a digit
- 18:28Speaker 1: see that. Please. They were Hank and Isabelle were in
- 18:32Speaker 1: the kitchen and she was bringing the groceries in, and
- 18:35Speaker 1: the kitchen was a freaking disaster. I did like dishes
- 18:39Speaker 1: drying on the counter. It was like a full mounds
- 18:43Speaker 1: of tupperware dried on the counter. It it stressed me out,
- 18:49Speaker 1: I hear you. I also thought that is like setting
- 18:55Speaker 1: the scene for like they're so busy. They're like in
- 18:57Speaker 1: this harvest season, they've got to get it done. Obviously
- 19:02Speaker 1: someone had that's not a working kitchen. Someone had to
- 19:04Speaker 1: put all of this stuff out. Yeah, I know. Why
- 19:09Speaker 1: is a family so lazy they can't help but put
- 19:11Speaker 1: some dishes away? I don't know. Just budge me.
- 19:14Speaker 4: They're all out in the field harvesting the hand Yeah, yeah, whatever, whatever. Okay, So,
- 19:20Speaker 4: in terms of Isabelle and Hank and potential triangle love
- 19:26Speaker 4: story Cody, what do you see panning out from this?
- 19:30Speaker 1: Oh here's the other reason that I think by the
- 19:34Speaker 1: way that Hank because he's so annoyed that Cody is there. Yeah,
- 19:38Speaker 1: why else would he be annoyed by Cody if he's
- 19:41Speaker 1: like friend of the family, just want the best for you,
- 19:44Speaker 1: Like Cody's there to help if you don't feel like
- 19:46Speaker 1: Cody is stepping on your territory, because Cody's not a
- 19:49Speaker 1: threat to his dream of having a rodeo. Cody's not
- 19:52Speaker 1: anything but lovely support for Isabelle. Why do you care? Yeah?
- 19:57Speaker 1: Maybe Okay, I hope we see the beginnings of a
- 20:01Speaker 1: romance between Isabelle and Cody. What do you think I think?
- 20:04Speaker 2: I don't care.
- 20:05Speaker 1: I don't. I'm sorry. I'm not invested in some sort
- 20:10Speaker 1: of like, you know, love triangle between the three of
- 20:14Speaker 1: these two because three, three of these you know, these
- 20:18Speaker 1: three people, because I just don't care. I'm like, I
- 20:22Speaker 1: want Isabelle to be happy because she seems like a
- 20:25Speaker 1: miserable person. Honestly, no, I'm not knocking Nancy Travis. Nancy
- 20:31Speaker 1: Travis is great. I think she's great in this role.
- 20:33Speaker 1: But the character of Isabelle is very unhappy. I don't disagree.
- 20:40Speaker 1: She's been dealt a rough hand, like lost her husband,
- 20:42Speaker 1: lost her son, and her ranch is failing. She just
- 20:44Speaker 1: wants to like sail off into the sunset, and she's
- 20:46Speaker 1: got to work her ass off to keep herself alive.
- 20:50Speaker 1: I'm like, sell the ranch and get a condo and
- 20:53Speaker 1: just be happy.
- 20:56Speaker 2: Do you not agree?
- 20:57Speaker 1: I don't disagree. That's too much work for this woman alone, right,
- 21:02Speaker 1: and she is a very much like do it yourself
- 21:07Speaker 1: kind of lady. It's too much. It's just too much
- 21:11Speaker 1: for her. And on top of it, like worrying about
- 21:14Speaker 1: her son. She's already lost her husband and her other son.
- 21:18Speaker 1: Now she's gotta worry about this other child of hers.
- 21:20Speaker 1: At It's just she just seems very unhappy. I don't
- 21:27Speaker 1: I don't disagree with you, Okay. That's why I think
- 21:29Speaker 1: she could use a little softness in her life and
- 21:32Speaker 1: the form of yes, ma'am. Cody he yes, ma'am's her. Oh,
- 21:36Speaker 1: She's like, thanks for your help, and he says, yes, ma'am.
- 21:38Speaker 1: Oh my, No, that's different than yes, chef, you know, yeah,
- 21:42Speaker 1: it is different. It's less hot. All right, Valance, have
- 21:47Speaker 1: they tied they men fences. They're fine. Now we learned
- 21:52Speaker 1: that the reason he took it so personally is they
- 21:54Speaker 1: used to be best.
- 21:54Speaker 2: Friends and blah blah blah.
- 21:57Speaker 1: He took it personally that she left without an explanation. Fine,
- 22:01Speaker 1: we're friends. Now we're doing the co form and thing,
- 22:04Speaker 1: and we do see the ranch hands like come around
- 22:07Speaker 1: and offer to help her. Like Nick comes to her
- 22:10Speaker 1: on the tractor. He goes, what am I supposed to
- 22:12Speaker 1: do or something like that, Can I help?
- 22:16Speaker 2: Yeah? I get it, but I'm like, this is how
- 22:18Speaker 2: you can help, dude.
- 22:19Speaker 1: We're trying to cover Hey, is it not obvious. Yes,
- 22:22Speaker 1: he can't get out to the hay because they don't
- 22:24Speaker 1: have a tractor to pick it up. Like that's why
- 22:27Speaker 1: Cash is like, we should go back, and Macy's like,
- 22:28Speaker 1: we can't do anything if we go back, Like there's
- 22:31Speaker 1: not enough tractors for all the people that are hair helping.
- 22:34Speaker 1: That's the problem. Mm hmm.
- 22:35Speaker 2: Okay, Gus to the.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Rescue, Yes, Gus to the rescue. Now I did think, okay,
- 22:41Speaker 1: so I kind of enjoyed this whole little storyline of
- 22:45Speaker 1: like the guy that you see can't do anything is
- 22:48Speaker 1: the one who saves the day. Yeah. And I like
- 22:51Speaker 1: how he explained it to Valeria, how he was like, yeah,
- 22:55Speaker 1: I might come from money, about my grandpa made me
- 22:58Speaker 1: learn all this stuff, like I had to work for
- 23:00Speaker 1: the ground up, like boom lady, you know. And it
- 23:04Speaker 1: was a simple as that. And now it seems like
- 23:06Speaker 1: Valeria likes him, oh in like a friendly way. Yes, yeah, yeah,
- 23:09Speaker 1: in a friendly way. But I yeah, she's she said like,
- 23:12Speaker 1: I'll fight you tooth and nail on the sale of
- 23:14Speaker 1: the ranch, but we can be buddies.
- 23:17Speaker 2: But you helped us. So now I like you.
- 23:20Speaker 1: Yeah, And I think the events in this episode do
- 23:24Speaker 1: a nice job of getting the viewer on the side
- 23:26Speaker 1: of team cat. Oh my gosh, I did it again.
- 23:29Speaker 1: They did a nice job of getting the viewer on
- 23:31Speaker 1: the side of team Gus because we have the will
- 23:35Speaker 1: it be cast? For goodness sakes, will it be Cash?
- 23:39Speaker 1: Will it be Gus?
- 23:40Speaker 2: Of it all?
- 23:41Speaker 1: We know it's going to be Cash, Czy, you've created
- 23:45Speaker 1: in your brain and I will never go away. Now
- 23:47Speaker 1: we know it's going to be Gus. First it has
- 23:50Speaker 1: to be. That's just the way it works. But now
- 23:53Speaker 1: at least we're getting the viewers to root for him
- 23:55Speaker 1: a little bit more.
- 23:57Speaker 2: I feel like I'm rooting for us quite a bit.
- 23:59Speaker 1: After this episode, mm hmm. Should we go just there?
- 24:02Speaker 1: Should we talk about their confrontation? Okay, but before before
- 24:06Speaker 1: we talk about their confrontation. When they have their harvest dinner,
- 24:10Speaker 1: they have it in the barn. Do people typically eat
- 24:14Speaker 1: in the barn where there's like horseshit, Well, they scoop
- 24:18Speaker 1: out the horseshit. You're telling me it doesn't smile in there.
- 24:22Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 24:23Speaker 2: I mean esthetically.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Cute, Yes, they have a nice long table. Everybody eats
- 24:28Speaker 1: in the barn, But you're telling me that their house
- 24:30Speaker 1: is not big enough to eat inside, and on top
- 24:33Speaker 1: of it, they have to bring the food from the
- 24:35Speaker 1: house and it's pouring down rain. This is all true.
- 24:38Speaker 1: So anyway, let's talk about the whole Gus and Cash
- 24:43Speaker 1: confrontation at the end of the episode. Let's do it.
- 24:46Speaker 1: I thought this was the most exciting two minutes of
- 24:49Speaker 1: the show all season. Yeah, and I was like, Okay,
- 24:54Speaker 1: let's hear it.
- 24:54Speaker 2: Gus.
- 24:55Speaker 1: He was really going in on Cash now. I was
- 24:57Speaker 1: waiting for Cash to take a swing at him, like
- 25:00Speaker 1: I knew it was going to happen, because Cash is
- 25:03Speaker 1: just not gonna like stand there and get schooled by
- 25:05Speaker 1: some rich dude. Right, But Gus wasn't wrong.
- 25:08Speaker 2: In anything that he said.
- 25:10Speaker 1: No, he wasn't. So now what what's gonna happen now?
- 25:15Speaker 1: Is Gus not going to be welcome at the ranch anymore?
- 25:18Speaker 3: No?
- 25:18Speaker 1: Because Isabell laid into Cash? Right, Gus has done nothing wrong.
- 25:22Speaker 1: Cash punched Gus. Yes, Gus had words for Cash, but
- 25:25Speaker 1: Cash through the first punch. Gus showed up for the
- 25:28Speaker 1: family and helped them out in a time where he
- 25:30Speaker 1: absolutely didn't have any obligation to do so. I think
- 25:34Speaker 1: the fallout is gonna be that this is gonna affect
- 25:36Speaker 1: Cash's relationship with Missy because as she and Gus grow
- 25:41Speaker 1: closer and he, I imagine Cash is going to feel
- 25:45Speaker 1: resentment towards the fact that like, obviously, this dude and
- 25:49Speaker 1: I are not buddies. Why are you not on my side?
- 25:52Speaker 1: And it's going to appear like she's taking sides? Mm hmm,
- 25:55Speaker 1: Well I had forgotten the whole confrontation between Gus and Cash.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Arts is because Gus went running after Missy, right, and
- 26:04Speaker 1: Cash was like, you don't need to run after her.
- 26:06Speaker 1: She doesn't want you to run after her. Blah blah
- 26:08Speaker 1: blah blah blah whatever. He was like swinging his big
- 26:10Speaker 1: d around right, And then Isabelle like was not happy
- 26:16Speaker 1: with Cash because he was being disrespectful to Guz after
- 26:19Speaker 1: Gus saved the day, and then they had like their
- 26:21Speaker 1: big confrontation. But then it ends. And didn't you think
- 26:27Speaker 1: that there was like almost a moment between Cash and
- 26:31Speaker 1: val Oh yes, when they're inside together and she's like
- 26:35Speaker 1: getting him ice for his hand, Yeah, and he says,
- 26:38Speaker 1: I'm never gonna be enough. What's he referring to? Is
- 26:41Speaker 1: he referring to him to Missy. Is he referring to
- 26:45Speaker 1: the family because he's never gonna be Austin? Is he
- 26:48Speaker 1: never gonna be enough?
- 26:49Speaker 2: To JB?
- 26:50Speaker 1: I think all of it, all of it right, And
- 26:53Speaker 1: then val goes in with the hug and they have
- 26:54Speaker 1: this very intimate moment. I was like, are they get
- 26:57Speaker 1: the kiss? I thought so too. So I feel like
- 27:01Speaker 1: this now that the Cash situation has kind of come
- 27:04Speaker 1: to a head, I feel like it's going to drive
- 27:07Speaker 1: him and Valeria close to her as he doesn't really
- 27:10Speaker 1: have Missy anymore. I suspect that he's not going to
- 27:14Speaker 1: have that closeness that he and Missy had And how
- 27:18Speaker 1: was that going to affect their training? We don't imagine
- 27:21Speaker 1: Cash taking it. Well, yeah, so let's talk about the
- 27:25Speaker 1: final scene when Missy's outside yelling at a bull, yelling
- 27:29Speaker 1: at the bull they killed Austin.
- 27:32Speaker 3: Well, it was almost like she was acting like the
- 27:35Speaker 3: bull was Austin. And then she was mad at the
- 27:38Speaker 3: bull for killing Austin. Yes, both, and Isabelle watches from above.
- 27:45Speaker 1: Yeah, concerned, she says, did you cheat on me? And
- 27:50Speaker 1: then she says I hate you? And I'm like, are
- 27:52Speaker 1: you talking to the bull to your host. That's kind
- 27:55Speaker 1: of unclear there, yes, both, maybe both, maybe both, Like
- 28:00Speaker 1: if she was yelling at like a light pole that
- 28:04Speaker 1: her husband crashed into and died. You know what I
- 28:07Speaker 1: mean for the amount of responsibility the bull has in
- 28:10Speaker 1: his death. Mm hmm. I mean, except a light pole
- 28:13Speaker 1: doesn't jump out into the middle of the road and
- 28:15Speaker 1: make your car smash into it. I tampled on his body,
- 28:19Speaker 1: I understand that. But yeah, it's not like the bull
- 28:22Speaker 1: had any The bull was being a bull, yes, yes, right,
- 28:27Speaker 1: and whenever they do to get those bulls to buck Yep,
- 28:31Speaker 1: he was just reacting to that exactly.
- 28:35Speaker 2: I am a.
- 28:36Speaker 1: Little bit looking forward to episode six to see like
- 28:38Speaker 1: what the fallout between the Gus and Cash fight is.
- 28:41Speaker 1: But other than that, do you want to know more
- 28:43Speaker 1: about Polly? Yeah? I want to know out more about
- 28:45Speaker 1: Polly too, But I don't care about Isabelle in the
- 28:48Speaker 1: hole like or Tough in Valeria or tough in Cash
- 28:51Speaker 1: all those people. Like Let's see, who are you writing
- 28:54Speaker 1: for this week?
- 28:55Speaker 2: Gus?
- 28:55Speaker 1: It's gotta be Gus. Yeah, save the day, stand up guy, Bye,
- 29:01Speaker 1: I'm team Gus. Cash really annoyed me all episode long.
- 29:04Speaker 1: You've been teen Gus since episode one. Yeah, but I
- 29:07Speaker 1: have enjoyed Gus. But I have been teen Cash and
- 29:10Speaker 1: Missy since episode one. How hot? I thought there dance
- 29:14Speaker 1: was in that bar? Oh?
- 29:15Speaker 2: This is true.
- 29:16Speaker 1: This is true. This is true. But it's true. He's
- 29:19Speaker 1: pushing her straight into Gus's arms.
- 29:21Speaker 2: Cash.
- 29:21Speaker 1: Don't you see what you're doing here? When it rains,
- 29:24Speaker 1: it pours Cash?
- 29:27Speaker 2: All right?
