Transcript
- 0:01Hey, y'all. Today we are continuing our series on the sacraments, and
- 0:08you know, yesterday I covered baptism and sort of the authority of the sacraments.
- 0:15Today we're going to start with confirmation. As you know, my book
- 0:21about my conversion is entitled Confirmation and Autobiography of Faith. Confirmation was life changing
- 0:29for me and it's something I wish all Christians, Catholic as well as Protestant,
- 0:35could experience. Unfortunately, our Protestant brothers and sisters cannot because the only
- 0:42valid confirmation is through the Catholic Church. The baptism and marriage are two sacraments
- 0:50that will always be available to all of even well, baptism for all Christians,
- 0:59even if not performed by a Christian. Anyone can baptize in the name
- 1:02of the Father of the side of the Holy Spirit. And of course marriage
- 1:07to everyone, whether they're no matter their religion or none at all. But
- 1:15confirmation is unique, and I'll give you a few passages on that, and
- 1:19says I've already covered a lot on that. We're just you know these right
- 1:23now, we're focusing on the Bible verses that they are specifically about the sacraments,
- 1:30and like I said, I've already done quite a bit on confirmation in
- 1:34episode number one, so we'll get into the EU course after that and see
- 1:37how it goes. It's Friday. I don't want to do too long a
- 1:40show. You've got things to do, all right. So acts nineteen went
- 1:46through six. This is one I've already referenced. It happened that while Apollos
- 1:51was in Corinth, Paul made his way overland as far as Ephesus, where
- 1:55he found a number of disciples. When he asked, did you receive the
- 1:57Holy Spirit when you became believers? They answered no, we were never even
- 2:01told there was such a thing as the Holy Spirit. He asked, how
- 2:05then, were you're baptized? They replied with John's baptism. Paul said John's
- 2:09baptism was a baptism of repentance, but he insisted that the people should believe
- 2:14in the one who was to come after him, namely Jesus. When they
- 2:17heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus, and
- 2:22the moment Paul laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came down on them,
- 2:25and they began to speak with tongues and prophesy as I explained yesterday.
- 2:30Baptism opens the soul to the Holy Spirit. You receive a measure of the
- 2:37Spirit through baptism. You receive a measure of the spirit. Through faith.
- 2:40The prophets of the Old Testament received a measure of the Holy Spirit. Only
- 2:47confirmation in a Catholic Church gives one the fullness of the Holy Spirit, and
- 2:53I should really say the opportunity to gain the fullness of the Spirit. You
- 2:58know, when you are confirmed, you begin this long, hopefully lifelong relationship
- 3:12with the Holy Spirit. When you commit well mortal sins, certainly the Holy
- 3:19Spirit leaves. When you commit veneal sins, the Holy Spirit pulls back a
- 3:23little bit. And when those vineal sins become habitual or cumulative, you gradually
- 3:32have less and less of the Spirit. You're confused in your spiritual discernment.
- 3:38And only by going to confession, which we will get into soon, can
- 3:42you get back in good graces with the Holy Spirit and reach your full potential
- 3:47and hopefully become a saint. But that only happens through confirmation. That is
- 3:53why it is so important that we try to bring the Body of Christ back
- 4:00together. We try to bring everyone back into the church so that they can
- 4:04receive the fullness of the Spirit and the fullness of the truth through the teachings
- 4:11of the apostles and their successors. First Timothy four fourteen through fifteen. You
- 4:17have in you a spiritual gift which was given to you with the Prophet spoke
- 4:21and the body of elders laid their hands on you. Do not neglect it.
- 4:27Let this be your care and occupation, and everyone will be able to
- 4:30see your progress, that spiritual gift given by the body of elders when they
- 4:36laid hands on them. So well, basically every Catholic, I mean basically
- 4:43every prize in church says that faith alone is all it's necessary, none of
- 4:48the sacraments. But the Bible, which they also say is the sole authority,
- 4:53says only when the body of elders, those appointed by the the Apostles,
- 5:00the bishops, the priests through apostolic succession, lay their hands on the
- 5:04person, do they receive the spirit, the fullness of the spirit. And
- 5:11I can tell you when I was confirmed and the chrism oil was put on
- 5:15my forehead, I tasted I smelled that oil for days, and I would
- 5:27up with this Before then I was well. I was a very angry person
- 5:33because of a lot of things that had happened in my life, and rebellious.
- 5:42And it was like for days after that those there was a battle going
- 5:48on in my soul. What was broken was being fixed, and it was
- 5:54actually quite unpleasant. It was actually quite unpleasant. But after I came out
- 6:01of that, you know, value of whatever suffering. The next Sunday,
- 6:10when I went to Mass and received the Eucharist, Wow, joy like I've
- 6:15never experienced likeness. It's it's not. Let me tell you. The sacraments
- 6:26are efficacious. They are not merely symbolic. They actually do what they say.
- 6:32Second Timothy one, six, eleven and thirteen. That is why I
- 6:38am reminding you now to fan into a flame the gift of God that you
- 6:43possess through the laying on of my hands in whose service I have been made
- 6:47Harold Apostle and teacher. That was Harold Apostle and teacher, keeps your pattern,
- 6:56the sound teaching you have heard from me, and the faith and love
- 6:59that are in Christ. Jesus Dear, is Saint Paul saying you received this
- 7:05gift of God through the laying on of my hands. That was Saint Paul
- 7:11who had become one of the apostles. He was a bishop of his time,
- 7:15a cardinal essentially, and the gift was given through the laying on of
- 7:19his hands, and he says plainly that they were to hold to that teaching.
- 7:29Any church that says faith alone is based on a Bible that was altered
- 7:35by Martin Luther, who changed the words of Jesus Christ, who said faith
- 7:41and works to faith alone, because the works were the sacraments, and without
- 7:46being Catholic, without being in the lineage of the apostles, with the authority
- 7:51given to them by Jesus Christ, one cannot perform the sacraments other than again
- 7:58baptism and marriage. Martin Luther knew that he could, did not have that
- 8:05authority. He seems to have claimed it at some points. But no Protestant
- 8:13church says they have the authority to turn bread and wine into the actual body
- 8:18and blood of Christ. No Protestant church, well, occasionally the Anglicans do,
- 8:22but they don't. They don't have the power. Will claim that they
- 8:28can absolve one of sins in confession. As Jesus told his apostles, those
- 8:31who sins you retain, they are retained. Those sinners, you forgive or
- 8:35forgiven. I believe the Eastern Orthodox often will make that claim as well,
- 8:39but they have broken off and they don't. It's symbolism and Protestant churches.
- 8:45It's efficacious and authoritative, real tangible, life changing in a Catholic church.
- 8:56Now, in terms of the eukratis, as I just said, the Christ
- 9:00is the most Catholic thing of all. And you know, it's really amazing
- 9:05that Protestants deny the real presence of God in the Eucharist, even though Jesus
- 9:13said it over and over and over and over in the Bible. I mean,
- 9:18he's like, look, I am really telling you this is actually my
- 9:24body and actually my blood. To the point that almost all of his followers
- 9:28left they thought he was insane. It continues to be an insane thing to
- 9:35say today unless you believe that Jesus Christ is God. If you believe that
- 9:39Jesus Christ is God, he can do anything. If he says it,
- 9:45it is true. If you don't believe it's true, you don't believe that
- 9:48Jesus is God. That's actually that point right there is what forced me to
- 9:56convert. If I was going to believe what Jesus said was true. Because
- 10:01Jesus is God, then I had to believe the teachings of the Catholic Church.
- 10:05It's only because because only the Catholic Church does and teaches what Jesus said,
- 10:13every Protestant Church does not. Frankly, the words of our Lord are
- 10:22so clear that one who purposefully refuses to believe them could deny that Jesus both
- 10:30who could deny that both Jesus commanded Christians to receive the euchras and that it
- 10:33becomes his body and blood. That is it's apostasy. You cannot say the
- 10:43Bible alone is the sole authority. And in the Bible Jesus said, yes,
- 10:48this really, truly, truly is my body and blood. And if
- 10:52you eat it and drink unworthily, you are committing a grave sin. You
- 10:58cannot take it literally and call it symbolically. Nowhere in Jesus, in Jesus's
- 11:05words say did he say, yo, I'm just kidding. Okay, He
- 11:07didn't say this is just symbol He said, truly, truly, I say
- 11:11to you, And if you don't believe it, and you don't do it,
- 11:16you have no life in you, meaning eternal life, salvation, belief
- 11:20alone not enough. He said, you have to eat my body and drink
- 11:26my blood. Matthew twenty six, twenty six through twenty eight. Now is
- 11:33there eating. Jesus took bread, and when he said the blessing, he
- 11:35broke it and gave it to the disciples, saying, take it and eat.
- 11:39This is my body. Then he took the cup, and when he
- 11:41had given thanks, he handed it to him, saying, drink from this,
- 11:46all of you, for this is my blood, the blood of the
- 11:48New Covenant poured out for many for the giveness of sense. God said it,
- 11:52okay, Jesus Christ, God said, this is my body, this
- 11:56is my blood. You either believe it or you don't believe He's God,
- 12:01because God can't lie. And like I said, he didn't say, I'm
- 12:05just kidding or this is just a similar a metaphor no, okay, Mark
- 12:13fourteen, twenty two through twenty four. And as they were eating, he
- 12:16took the bread, and when he said the blessing, he broke it and
- 12:18gave it to them, Take and eat. This is my body. And
- 12:22then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he had
- 12:24to them and drank from it. And he said to them, this is
- 12:28the blood. This is my blood, the blood of the Covenant poured out
- 12:31for many. Okay, it's Matthew and Mark. Now we'll get to Luke
- 12:35twenty two nineteen through twenty. He took the bread, and when he had
- 12:39given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, this
- 12:41is my body given for you. Do this in remembrance of me. Do
- 12:46it not optional. He did the same with us a cup after supper and
- 12:50said, this cup is the new coven of my blood poured out for you.
- 12:56So, Matthew, Mark, Luke. Now here's John n twenty two
- 13:00nineteen through twenty. Then he took the bread, and when he had given
- 13:03thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, this is
- 13:05my God body given for you. Do this in remembrance of me. He
- 13:09did the same with the cup after supper and said, this cup is the
- 13:13new covenant in my blood poured out for you. Then John forty eight through
- 13:16seventy one, Jesus says, I am the bread of your life, of
- 13:20life, your father's hat manna in the desert, and they are dead.
- 13:24But this is the bread which comes down from heaven, so that a person
- 13:28may eat it and not die. I am the living bread which has come
- 13:31down from heaven. Anyone who eats this bread will live forever. And the
- 13:35bread that I shall give is my flesh for the life of the world.
- 13:39Then, as you started arguing him on themselves, how can this man give
- 13:43us his flesh to eat, Jesus replied to them, in all truth,
- 13:46I tell you, if you do not eat the flesh of the Son of
- 13:50Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Anyone who
- 13:54does eat my flesh and drink my blood has eternal life. And I shall
- 13:58raise that person up on the last day. For my flesh is real food
- 14:03and my blood is real drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood
- 14:07lives in me, and I live in that person as the Living Father sent
- 14:11me, and I draw life from the Father. So whoever eats me will
- 14:16also draw a life from me. This is the bread which has come down
- 14:20from heaven. It is not like the bread of our ancestors. Eight they
- 14:22are dead. But anyone who eats this bread will live forever. This is
- 14:26what he taught at Capernaum and the Synagogue. After hearing it, many of
- 14:31his followers said, this is intolerable language. How could anyone accept it.
- 14:35Jesus was aware that his followers were complaining about it, and said, does
- 14:39this disturb you if you should see the son of Man a sin to where
- 14:43he was before. It is the spirit that gives life. The flesh is
- 14:46nothing to offer the words I have spoken to your spirit, and they are
- 14:50life. But there are some of you who do not believe. For Jesus
- 14:52knew that from the outset who did not believe and who was to betray him?
- 14:58And he went on, this is why I told you that no one
- 15:00could come to me except by the gift of the Father. After this,
- 15:03many of his disciples went away and accompanied him, no more than Jesus said
- 15:07to the twelve, what about you? Do you want to go away too?
- 15:11Simon Peter answered, Lord, to whom shall we go? You have
- 15:13the message of eternal life, and we believe. We have come to know
- 15:18that you are the Holy One of God. Jesus replied to him, did
- 15:22I not choose the twelve of you? Yet one of you is a devil?
- 15:24He meant that Judas, son of Simon's Garriott, since Sarah this was
- 15:28the man one of the twelve who would betray him? Wow, huh?
- 15:35Could it be more clear? If I mean he literally said, I am
- 15:41telling you this in all truth. I tell you, if you do not
- 15:46eat my flesh and drink my blood, you have no life in you.
- 15:50He says, my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink.
- 15:56Now, if there's no two ways of reading that, especially if we go
- 16:00back to the Aramaic that Jesus was speaking, this is like literal. There
- 16:07was not a lot of word play going on here. He's saying, literally,
- 16:11I am telling you this bread is my body, this wine is my
- 16:15blood, and if you don't drink it, you don't have eternal life.
- 16:22Okay, I mean think about that. I mean, that may be pretty
- 16:25obvious for Catholics. I hope that they say a lot of Catholics don't really
- 16:29believe in the real presence in the eu Chostine. More. That's horrible,
- 16:32that that's absolutely horrible. If the physical bread and wine becomes the spiritual body
- 16:38and blood of Jesus Christ, and it's true because God said it, as
- 16:42I keep saying, if Jesus says it, do it. I mean,
- 16:47when I was in the Methodist Church, they said, nope, Nope's just
- 16:52it's just figurative, you know, it's just symbolic. But it's not what
- 16:56Jesus said. When I was in the Baptist Church. They didn't even have
- 16:59community when I was in, and I think maybe once they did and instead
- 17:06of wine it was grape juice because they had an issue of drinking alcohol.
- 17:10You know, again, Jesus made wine at the wedding piece of Cana.
- 17:14He drank wine in the past over meal. If he did it, it
- 17:18can't be simbol because Jesus was without sin. Jesus is God. You can't
- 17:22just impose your beliefs on the word of God and believe what you believe is
- 17:30true and what Jesus and his church teaches is false. I don't even know
- 17:37how to put it in more plain terms. It's like if my last name
- 17:41is Carol, right, and what if you know the folks that live two
- 17:44doors down from here, Smith's, and I just walk in one day and
- 17:48say my name is Judsin Smith. They're going to say, no, you're
- 17:49not Judson Smith. You're not part of our family. And yet all these
- 17:56Protestant churches walk in and say we're Christians. But why Are you Christians we
- 18:03believe in Jesus Christ, Or are you a member of his church? No?
- 18:06Do you follow that his teachings? No, we don't actually believe in
- 18:08the Eucharist. Do you follow the teachers of his church? No, we
- 18:14reject all the church teachings of his church. But we want to be called
- 18:18Christians. Okay, well call yourself Christians and hope on that day when you
- 18:22meet your maker, he says, does not say to you when you say,
- 18:27Lord, we prophesied your name, we baptized in your name, we
- 18:30drove out demons in your name, we did miracles in your name, And
- 18:34he says to them, truly, truly, I say, I do not
- 18:38know you be gone to a place of wailing and gnashing of teeth. Just
- 18:45believe the words of God and do what he says. It's not that hard.
- 18:51Yeah, it means laying down some pride. You know, if you've
- 18:55believed all your life that the Catholic Church is wrong and your church you go
- 18:59to His right because you found it on the owner, you've got a charismatic
- 19:03preacher, or your grandparents went there. That's hard to do. It's hard
- 19:07to break away and say, you know, I got it wrong, or
- 19:10this preacher I respect got it wrong, or my parents and grandparents got it
- 19:14wrong. But it can be done. I did it. It's exactly what
- 19:21the Apostles said and Jesus Christ themselves to the Jews they were to do.
- 19:26They were to relinquish thousands of years of mosaic teaching and tradition and accept a
- 19:33new religion that had the fullness of the truth. Just look and say,
- 19:38does my church actually do what Jesus Christ said? Does it permit a divorce
- 19:44even though he expressly condemned divorce at all four gospels? Does it believe in
- 19:51the real presence in the Eucharus, in the communion it is actually the body
- 19:56and brood of Christ that's the start. Or do they lay on hands and
- 20:02do you receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit? Or do they say that
- 20:07symbolic? Do you have priests that were ordained by those who were ordained by
- 20:11those who were ordained all the way back to the Apostles. Do you hold
- 20:17fast to the teachings of the Apostles and the church founded by God? If
- 20:22not, wow, it may be time to consider conversion, and hopefully my
- 20:29book will help with that. Again, it's confirmation and autobiography of faith,
- 20:34because confirmation changes everything. Without confirmation, you can't receive the Euchrist. The
- 20:45early Church called the Euchrist the breaking of Bread. In Acts two two through
- 20:52forty three, we read these remain faithful to the teachings of the Apostles,
- 20:56to the brotherhood, to the breaking of bread, to the prayers. Anyone
- 21:00and everyone was filled with all. The Apostles worked many signs and miracles.
- 21:06Somehow, some Protestants would tell you that this means they had a meal.
- 21:11Well, did they not have meals before Jesus came into the world. Did
- 21:15Jesus not have meals before he was crucified? With them? We know if
- 21:18you had the Passover meal? We know he liked to eat fish, especially
- 21:22he was a big fish eater. When he came back resurrected, the first
- 21:26thing he did was asked for some roasted fish, which is basically what I
- 21:30would do too. I absolutely love to fish and I love to eat fish.
- 21:34But he had lamb. He was not a vegetarian as many claim.
- 21:38He actually expressly condemned vegetarianism, saying that later on people would come with false
- 21:45teaching, saying you shouldn't eat meat. We'll get into that another day.
- 21:49But the breaking of bread was the way the early Church referred to the euchist
- 21:56or communion. There is no sensible way to say otherwise. Corinthians ten sixteen
- 22:03through seventeen. The blessing cup which we bless, is it not a sharing
- 22:07in the blood of Christ? And the loaf of bread which we break,
- 22:12is it not a sharing in the body of Christ. And as there's one
- 22:17love, so we, although there are many of us, are one single
- 22:21body, So we all share in one love. Here you go any questions,
- 22:27just look at Corinthians ten sixteen through seventeen. The cup of wine is
- 22:33the blood of Christ. The bread is the body of Christ. We all
- 22:37share in it, and we become one in Christ. If you're not this
- 22:42way, they call it excommunication. When you leave the church or your beliefs
- 22:51are so in opposition with the teachings of the Catholic Church, you are excommunicated.
- 22:56You cannot receive communion. No longer are you part of the one body.
- 23:03It's a paramount importance that we encourage Protestants to come back into the body
- 23:11of Christ and share in that Eucharist. And they can't do it until they
- 23:15become Catholic Corinthians eleven two twenty one through thirty. I congratulate you for remembering
- 23:22me so consistently, and maintain the traditions exactly as I pass them onto you.
- 23:30There's a statement, you want to believe the Bibles of so authority.
- 23:33How about if you maintain the traditions exactly as Saint Paul pass them on to
- 23:38the churches he taught and over which he had authority. For the tradition I
- 23:45received from the Lord and also handed on to you, is that on the
- 23:48night he was betrayed, the Lord Jesus took some bread, and after he'd
- 23:52given thanks, he broken. He said, this is my body, which
- 23:56is for you. Do this in remembrance of me, and in that same
- 24:00way with the coup after supper, saying, this cup is the new covenant
- 24:03of my blood. Whenever you drink it, do this as a memorial of
- 24:07me. Whenever you eat this bread then and drink this cup, you are
- 24:14proclaiming the Lord's death until he comes. Therefore, anyone who eats the bread
- 24:18and drinks the cup of the Lord unworthily is answerable for the body and blood
- 24:23of the Lord, everyone is to examine himself and only then eat of the
- 24:29bread or drink from the cup. Because a person who eats and drinks without
- 24:33recognizing the body is eating and drinking his own condemnation. That is why many
- 24:37of you are a weak and ill, and a number have died. Let
- 24:42that sink in for a second. First of all, keep his tradition and
- 24:48do it a lot of prize, and saying, well, if what the
- 24:52Catholics believe is true, then they're crucifying Jesus again. Well, no,
- 24:59we're do as a memorial. It just says that right there in the Bible,
- 25:03whenever you drink it, do this as a memorial of me. Not
- 25:11only does he do it, he said, do it as a memorial of
- 25:15me. And then he says something really extraordinary. If you eat the body
- 25:23of the Lord and drink his blood unworthily, you are eating and drinking of
- 25:30your own condemnation. In other words, if you don't one recognize the real
- 25:37presence in the euchris, if you disbelieve it and then take the uchrius,
- 25:41which many Catholics do. Unfortunately, this is really bad, y'all. That
- 25:45poll that came out about a year or two ago. That said, almost
- 25:51half of Catholics no longer had faith that in the real presence, that the
- 25:56bread was actually our Lord's body and the wine as actually the Lord's blood.
- 26:02Are committing a mortal sin by receiving the Eucharist. If you're a Catholic and
- 26:07you hear this, you've got to go look at your Bible. You've got
- 26:10to go read your Catechism, you've got to talk to your priest, and
- 26:12you've got to get right. You've got to get right with God, or
- 26:15you are literally guilty of killing Jesus. That's what it says to his own
- 26:23condemnation. Okay, you if you eat of unworthy Okay, now, that's
- 26:30that's a huge that. I mean, there are many Catholics who are doubting
- 26:36of the real presence. You should not receive communion until you've been to confession,
- 26:41gotten that straight. I'm saying that for your own good. I don't
- 26:44want you to go to hell. And that's exactly what Saint Paul Is say.
- 26:47Okay, two in bad relationships homosexual or adulterous or etc. Etc.
- 26:56Etc. We're just going down the road. Okay, don't receive communion until
- 27:02you go to talk to your priests and go to confession and reform your life.
- 27:07Really, I knew a Catholic, very open homosexual one time, and
- 27:14yeah, you know, we didn't go. We didn't agree hunt a lot.
- 27:17But I actually had a lot of respect for him that he would go
- 27:19to Mass but not go up for the Euchrist. He knew in his heart
- 27:25he could not receive the Euchrist because he was in violations of the treaties of
- 27:30the Church. Actually, I have a whole lot more respect for that man
- 27:34than I do for many Catholics who continue to receive the Euchrius while supporting abortion,
- 27:45voting for abortion, supporting politicians, you know, involved in other sinful
- 27:52activities. And we all sin. I'm not high a mighty here, go
- 27:56to confession and get it right, because this is this is a huge warning
- 28:02when Saint Paul says, this is why many of you are weak and ill,
- 28:06and a good number have died. That's that's that's physical. I mean,
- 28:11you know, it's one thing to think I got thirty or forty years
- 28:14to work it out before I die. Hopefully, okay, hopefully you will.
- 28:17You could be struck dead tomorrow. Obviously I could, We all could
- 28:21but when he's actually saying that receiving the Eucharist in a state of sin will
- 28:26make you weak and ill or even lead to your death. That's what the
- 28:33Bible says, Okay, And we believe the Bible is free from error,
- 28:36guaranteed by the Holy Spirit. Both Catholics and Protestants believe that. Now,
- 28:41on the other hand, there is no way a Protestant can look at that
- 28:45passage and say, oh, this is all symbolic. No, a symbol
- 28:48does not make you weak and ill or kill you. This is real.
- 28:52It is serious. And you know a lot of Protestants get very offended because
- 29:00they can't receive the Euchrist and a Catholic Church, well, but you know,
- 29:04the Bible actually says if you eat and drink of it unworthily, it's
- 29:10your own condemnation. You're actually guilty of the death of Christ. It's like
- 29:14you're a murderer. You're committing a mortal sin, and you would be physically
- 29:19weak, ill or even die. Okay, So the Catholic Church is actually
- 29:23protecting you on one regard, and on the other regard, it's just like
- 29:29any other sacrament. You can't receive the euchris unless you're in communion with the
- 29:34Catholic Church, a member the Catholic Church who's been to confession and ready to
- 29:37receive it. Anymore than you can enter into someone else's marriage. Okay,
- 29:45two spouses have the legal right to have relations with each other. And if
- 29:51you come into the middle, you're committing adultery. If you come into the
- 29:55Catholic Church as a non Catholic and think you can receive the euchris, you're
- 29:59essentially committing what you are committing a mortal sin. You can liken it to
- 30:03adultery if you want to. You're not a member of that union. And
- 30:10I mean I know at one point, you know, a friend of a
- 30:15friend was an Anglican priest and he was so offended that he was not allowed
- 30:19to take communion and Catholic Church. He went on to say he had the
- 30:23right to give communion at Catholic Church. He thought he should be able to
- 30:29act as a priest in the Catholic Church and offer the euchrast. No,
- 30:33you're not Catholic. You broke away. If you want to be Catholic,
- 30:37become Catholic, because it's actually not symbolic. And when you get down to
- 30:44it. His Anglican conception of the Euchrist was purely symbolic. And that's why
- 30:51the Anglicans have not been able to reunite with the Catholic Church. They were
- 30:55in talks for the seventies, eighties, sixties and getting very close, and
- 31:00then the Anglicans said, well, we think there should be female priests,
- 31:03and the Catholic Church said, no, no, we don't have female priests
- 31:06because you know, that's not our tradition, and because Jesus and his apostles
- 31:11did things a certain way. You know, Saint Paul said women shouldn't even
- 31:15talk in church, not even speak. You know. Now, at least
- 31:18we have female electors and you know, such as that. But the apostle
- 31:22said, no, no female priests. The Anglicans said, well, we're
- 31:26going to have female priests, and it fell apart. They would not accept
- 31:30the authority of the pope and the church. And now they have homosexual priests,
- 31:36vickers, whatever, and they have empty churches and beautiful churches that belong
- 31:42to the Catholic Church before they stole them, and they're sitting empty, and
- 31:48they're full of perversion like you could not imagine. As I said, the
- 31:53Anglican Church has been one of the greatest forces of evil in the Western world
- 32:00by just grading and destroying the family, primarily through divorce and now the promotion
- 32:04of homosexuality. So ah, that's uh, yeah, that's pretty heavy,
- 32:08and it went a little longer than I thought. But you know, confirmation
- 32:15of the Euchrist man, I mean, that's what it's all about. And
- 32:17then you know, the next next episode on Monday, we'll get into a
- 32:22reconciliation because, as I said, you have to go to confession, you
- 32:25have to be forgiven of your sins before you can receive the Euchrist. So
- 32:30y'all have a wonderful weekend. Go to Mass. Definitely go to Mass tomorrow
- 32:37evening or Sunday morning, and spend time and your family and your loved ones
- 32:40and enjoy this beautiful spring weather. And in the words of Saint Patre Pio,
- 32:46pray, hope and don't worry, and I'll talk to you next time.
- 32:50Have you going
