- 0:01Speaker 1: Oh, time for the ex pool. Yeah, have you been
- 0:06Speaker 1: thinking about this for yourself? I have who who is
- 0:09Speaker 1: your role model or somebody that you is it somebody
- 0:13Speaker 1: that you'd like to pattern your life after that or
- 0:15Speaker 1: you have or you have pattern after or so?
- 0:20Speaker 2: Do you have any role models caring?
- 0:23Speaker 3: Uh? No, real ones, So like I used to have
- 0:29Speaker 3: real ones and then I find out about my real
- 0:31Speaker 3: role models.
- 0:32Speaker 4: Never meet your heroes.
- 0:34Speaker 3: Never meet your heroes, you never find out the truth
- 0:36Speaker 3: about them. And yeah, so that's why I stopped having
- 0:40Speaker 3: you like to say Captain America, right, Yeah, Steve Rogers,
- 0:44Speaker 3: That's usually what my answer. But you know, there are
- 0:47Speaker 3: many mister Rogers.
- 0:50Speaker 2: I get people that I don't know. I would say.
- 0:53Speaker 1: I was thinking actors, maybe Jeff Bridges maybe, Yeah, that's
- 0:59Speaker 1: gonna just I would like to you know, he'd be
- 1:01Speaker 1: my role model the type of acting I would like
- 1:04Speaker 1: to do. But he seems like he's just a decent
- 1:06Speaker 1: guy in general.
- 1:09Speaker 4: Mine. I was thinking about this a lot.
- 1:13Speaker 5: They are my sisters, and they're all they are all
- 1:18Speaker 5: good looking, every one of them.
- 1:21Speaker 4: Mikeel Kelly and.
- 1:22Speaker 5: Carrie have advanced degrees in something. What I do here
- 1:28Speaker 5: is silly, you know, what they do is that Michel
- 1:33Speaker 5: is a professor, Kelly works with kids, she's a nurse
- 1:39Speaker 5: practitioner up at Primary Children's Hospital. And my sister Carrie
- 1:43Speaker 5: works with special needs kids.
- 1:45Speaker 2: So they all have advanced degrees. They all have an advanced degrees.
- 1:47Speaker 2: And you do realize that they all look down on you.
- 1:50Speaker 4: I hope so they should. I look up to all
- 1:53Speaker 4: of them for different reasons.
- 1:56Speaker 1: I think in my family, my grandfather who has long
- 1:59Speaker 1: since to pass, but my mother's father, I looked up
- 2:04Speaker 1: to him.
- 2:06Speaker 3: Let's begin with Jessica.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Jessica, hello, thanks for letting me listen. You're welcome.
- 2:15Speaker 6: So my role model is a mixture between the still
- 2:19Speaker 6: Blue from Arrested Development and Linda Selcher.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Why is that, Jessica?
- 2:28Speaker 6: I think the combo of both of them makes the
- 2:31Speaker 6: perfect mother.
- 2:34Speaker 3: What part of those blues?
- 2:36Speaker 7: What heart?
- 2:38Speaker 2: I don't recall her?
- 2:39Speaker 3: Yeah, there was nothing redeemable there. And and Linda Belcher is.
- 2:45Speaker 4: She's a good mom. She's a good he's okay, but
- 2:47Speaker 4: she's you know, Delcher.
- 2:52Speaker 8: She becomes kind and warm, but then Blue is kind
- 2:56Speaker 8: of you know, okay.
- 3:04Speaker 3: Thanks see. I used to think that Peggy Hill was
- 3:08Speaker 3: was a good mom. And then you get watching the
- 3:10Speaker 3: show closely, you realize she's a horrible person.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Got a nasty streak.
- 3:15Speaker 3: She does, very nasty streak running through her.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Who do you look up to?
- 3:20Speaker 1: Who's your role model? Either real or imagined or fictional
- 3:25Speaker 1: person or both?
- 3:28Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 3:29Speaker 5: Speaking of fictional, somebody texted in banned it from Blue.
- 3:32Speaker 5: If I could be half the father that he is
- 3:34Speaker 5: to his kids, that would be glorious.
- 3:37Speaker 3: Let's see expole role model Olandria Carthen. She is a
- 3:43Speaker 3: high fashion editorial model and her biggest platform is self love,
- 3:47Speaker 3: confidence in never giving up on your dream. She's beautiful
- 3:49Speaker 3: inside and out, and this helped me start being mindful
- 3:52Speaker 3: of how badly I talk to myself.
- 3:54Speaker 4: Oh that's nice. I like that one.
- 3:55Speaker 3: Interesting Anthony Bourdain.
- 4:00Speaker 5: If you're a chef, maybe uh, Peter from Office Space.
- 4:07Speaker 2: I don't know who.
- 4:08Speaker 3: I can't remember which one Peter is.
- 4:10Speaker 5: He's the one that stands up and says, I'm not
- 4:12Speaker 5: going to work anymore.
- 4:14Speaker 3: Oh that guy? Uh, your biggest fan, Remy says you
- 4:18Speaker 3: the three of you?
- 4:20Speaker 4: Thanks, all right, Let's go to Jason.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Hello Jason, Yeah, Hi Jason, What's who do you look
- 4:28Speaker 2: up to?
- 4:30Speaker 7: Good morning, guys, well, I try to. I'm a dad,
- 4:35Speaker 7: and the two dads that I look up to most
- 4:37Speaker 7: would be Andy Griffith mm hmm and Mike Brady from
- 4:41Speaker 7: The Brady Bunch. I try to be dads like those guys. Yeah,
- 4:45Speaker 7: you know, they were kind and understanding and hardly ever yelled.
- 4:50Speaker 7: And yeah, it's always a challenge. I got four kids,
- 4:53Speaker 7: and so I'm trying to be more.
- 4:54Speaker 3: Like those guys on one of them secretly gay.
- 4:57Speaker 4: That's a whole other thing.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Not a problem.
- 5:02Speaker 7: Okay, Andy griff if you're right.
- 5:06Speaker 1: That show, well, think back on it. It was so funny,
- 5:10Speaker 1: but it was so sincere.
- 5:12Speaker 3: Now are we talking about Andy Taylor the character?
- 5:15Speaker 4: I think he means the character?
- 5:16Speaker 3: I think you mean the character? Okay, Taylor, Sheriff Taylor,
- 5:21Speaker 3: all right, all right, good, all right, I think you
- 5:25Speaker 3: get what we're Thank you.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Robert Reid. By the way, did you ever see that?
- 5:29Speaker 2: I've seen it.
- 5:30Speaker 1: He plays a guy undergoing a sex change operation in
- 5:33Speaker 1: a two part what Medical Center or something like that
- 5:37Speaker 1: or something?
- 5:37Speaker 3: Yea one of those shows.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Tell us about who your role models are, who do
- 5:41Speaker 1: you look up to? Who would you like if I
- 5:43Speaker 1: could only be like that?
- 5:45Speaker 9: All right?
- 5:46Speaker 3: Let's go to Uh is it Jesse. I think it's Jesse.
- 5:50Speaker 4: Hi, Jesse, that's.
- 5:52Speaker 10: Right, it's Jesse.
- 5:53Speaker 4: HIV me on.
- 5:54Speaker 2: Thank you, go ahead.
- 5:57Speaker 10: So my role model, her name is for Jenkins. She's
- 6:01Speaker 10: in charge of this little or it's not very little anymore,
- 6:04Speaker 10: but it's an organization called Operation Literacy. We basically will
- 6:08Speaker 10: give books to kids in Title I schools. We put
- 6:10Speaker 10: on this conference called story Con every year, and Jennifer
- 6:14Speaker 10: Jenkins is one of the people at the very top.
- 6:17Speaker 10: And one of the reasons that I love her so
- 6:20Speaker 10: much is because it's a nonprofit organization. But she's one
- 6:24Speaker 10: of the very few people who could take a salary
- 6:27Speaker 10: because she does this twenty four seven, three sixty five.
- 6:30Speaker 10: She lives, she eats, she breathes. Operational Literacy nice and
- 6:33Speaker 10: she refuses to take the salary because the money that
- 6:37Speaker 10: she doesn't take goes towards more books for kids, it
- 6:40Speaker 10: goes towards more kids to the conference for free. Love it,
- 6:44Speaker 10: and so she just does all of this work for free.
- 6:46Speaker 10: And so I don't know if anybody out there knows
- 6:48Speaker 10: who Jennifer Jenkins is, but she's fantastic.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Jesse.
- 6:53Speaker 10: She said, oh my gosh, I love her.
- 6:55Speaker 2: Jesse. What's the big event? You say? You have this
- 6:58Speaker 2: event every year? What is it?
- 7:00Speaker 10: It's called story Con. It's a writer's conference. It used
- 7:03Speaker 10: to be called Team Author boot Camp, but we have
- 7:06Speaker 10: upgraded it to story Con. And when that happening, Brandon Sanderson,
- 7:10Speaker 10: it's going to be February. It's going to be the
- 7:12Speaker 10: last weekend of February to come.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Okay, let us all right, thank you, thank you.
- 7:19Speaker 10: Great. We have adult tracks and all that, so I
- 7:21Speaker 10: hope to see you guys there.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Okay, thank you, all right, let's go to Lance. I Lance.
- 7:26Speaker 1: By the way, the number is eight seven seven six
- 7:29Speaker 1: oh two nine six nine six Lance.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Who do you look up to? Who is like a
- 7:32Speaker 2: pattern in your life? After morning?
- 7:35Speaker 1: Lords?
- 7:35Speaker 9: Well, I just found it, like in this time it's spent,
- 7:38Speaker 9: you know, our our times has been a little wild.
- 7:42Speaker 9: I think it's important to keep comedy. I've been trying
- 7:44Speaker 9: to keep you know, comedy alive. So a lot of
- 7:46Speaker 9: my a lot of my role models. I mean, as
- 7:48Speaker 9: difficult as it is, you know, but a lot of
- 7:50Speaker 9: my role models. Uh, it's the clean comics, you know,
- 7:53Speaker 9: because it's easy to offend people these days in the
- 7:56Speaker 9: like PC. You know, it's just easy to offend here.
- 7:58Speaker 9: So I like people coming up like uh like even
- 8:01Speaker 9: Cosby Carl and Jim Gaffigan. I don't know if y'all
- 8:06Speaker 9: have heard of Nate BARGASKI yeah, I mean, I just
- 8:10Speaker 9: think it's important.
- 8:11Speaker 1: I guess my my call.
- 8:12Speaker 9: Is just just continue to laugh, continue to laugh. It is,
- 8:17Speaker 9: you know, and the lords of Morning Morning Radio.
- 8:19Speaker 4: Thank you, thank you, see you later.
- 8:23Speaker 3: All right, let's go to Michelle.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Hello, Michelle, I'm Michelle Hell.
- 8:29Speaker 3: Hi.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Who would you like to be like? And what do
- 8:31Speaker 2: you look up to?
- 8:33Speaker 3: My mother?
- 8:37Speaker 4: Sandy?
- 8:37Speaker 10: Okay, she never had a degree, and she became the
- 8:42Speaker 10: most successful person.
- 8:44Speaker 4: That I know.
- 8:46Speaker 2: How did she?
- 8:47Speaker 1: What did she become successful at?
- 8:51Speaker 10: She's work in the oil field.
- 8:54Speaker 11: Oh okay, so she could go in and tell all
- 8:59Speaker 11: those oil guys how things work.
- 9:03Speaker 4: She's a warge, she was a wildcatter, she took charge.
- 9:07Speaker 11: She was and she's my hero.
- 9:10Speaker 3: All right, all right, good, let's see uh Anson Mounts,
- 9:17Speaker 3: Captain Pike. Okay, okay, badass women Michelle, Obama and AOC.
- 9:24Speaker 3: I also adore Audrey Hepburn. She had a huge heart
- 9:27Speaker 3: and absolutely beautiful inside.
- 9:28Speaker 4: Now, I like all of those choices.
- 9:32Speaker 3: Elana mar female rugby player who calls that nasty comments
- 9:36Speaker 3: by men down playing or degrading women in sports. She
- 9:39Speaker 3: also talks to young girls about body cout.
- 9:41Speaker 4: She's great. I love her too.
- 9:43Speaker 3: Okay, go to Elena.
- 9:46Speaker 6: Hi, Elena thik Hi there, Hey, I've called in before.
- 9:51Speaker 6: I was friends with Kyle Brown and his sweet and
- 9:55Speaker 6: you all donated money, thank you. But yeah, Kyle, the
- 10:00Speaker 6: way that he lived and when he passed, the way
- 10:04Speaker 6: that he lived then was so inspirational. At the time,
- 10:08Speaker 6: I was battling cancer and went through a bow marrow
- 10:10Speaker 6: transplant and I thought about him all the time. And
- 10:13Speaker 6: he did a ride, a mountain bike ride when he
- 10:18Speaker 6: couldn't talk anymore. But we biked all the way up
- 10:21Speaker 6: to the top of Farmington Canyon. And I have that
- 10:23Speaker 6: date in my calendar and I will go mountain bike
- 10:26Speaker 6: every year on that date in on our How are

- 10:50Speaker 10: So there you go.
- 10:51Speaker 1: You know, you know somebody else like that that just
- 10:53Speaker 1: came to mind, And I've got his pictures all over
- 10:55Speaker 1: my desk. Remember Dove support, Yes, and how he he
- 11:01Speaker 1: battled cancer with humor and yeah, he was a pretty
- 11:05Speaker 1: remarkable guy.
- 11:06Speaker 3: All right, thanks Elena.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Let's go to Meggie him. Meggie, well, hello, who do
- 11:16Speaker 2: you look like?

- 11:19Speaker 11: Silly about mine now after that?
- 11:22Speaker 3: Okay, this is personal for you.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Who is it?
- 11:27Speaker 11: Well, I was a last tea kid growing up, so
- 11:29Speaker 11: I was raised by television and I was my My
- 11:33Speaker 11: TV mom was Luciel Ball and my TV dad was
- 11:36Speaker 11: Andy Griffith. Sure, being married.
- 11:45Speaker 1: The super Ball was a remarkable woman, not not just
- 11:49Speaker 1: because of a talent, but she was a very hard nosed,
- 11:54Speaker 1: straightforward business person exactly and and didn't take any crap
- 11:59Speaker 1: from the men in the in the world.
- 12:02Speaker 3: Desolute and if it wasn't for her, we wouldn't have
- 12:05Speaker 3: Star Trek.
- 12:06Speaker 4: That's true.
- 12:07Speaker 3: That's absolutely true.
- 12:09Speaker 11: And she was a redhead like me.
- 12:11Speaker 2: Well, there you go, you go, thanks Meggie.
- 12:13Speaker 4: Good choice.
- 12:14Speaker 11: I have a question. What is a wing ding?
- 12:17Speaker 8: X ninety six keeps talking.
- 12:18Speaker 11: About wing dings.
- 12:19Speaker 7: I don't know what that is it's a wing.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Ding is an old fashioned term for a party.
- 12:22Speaker 4: It's a bunch of songs in a row without commercials.
- 12:25Speaker 3: Yeah, it's it's no commercials, an hour long songs.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean originally, man, it was party. We're gonna
- 12:31Speaker 2: have a big wing day.
- 12:32Speaker 3: I agree with you, Meggie, it's terrible. It's terrible labeling.
- 12:36Speaker 11: No, I'm going to start. I'm gonna start throwing wingings.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Why don't go ahead have a wing?
- 12:41Speaker 3: Well you'll hear from our lawyers. All right, Meggie, thank you?
- 12:45Speaker 4: Bye.
- 12:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:47Speaker 3: Let's see. Let's see. Uh, both my grandfathers, they were
- 12:50Speaker 3: two completely different backgrounds and eras. The two together rounded
- 12:53Speaker 3: out who I became. H Bernie Sanders and aoc My
- 13:00Speaker 3: Kill Scott from The Office Real Model.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Why why would that be?
- 13:03Speaker 3: Because he's ever optimistic and hilarious. He is always he
- 13:08Speaker 3: is a horrible person, but always optimistic. Dan Blocker from
- 13:13Speaker 3: Bonanza Hoss Cart Right, Okay, okay, Oh, here's what Jane Goodall,

- 13:30Speaker 4: Let's see.
- 13:32Speaker 3: Let's see. Uh, Well, there's long lists here.
- 13:36Speaker 4: Here's one.
- 13:37Speaker 5: It sounds weird. But Eminem, I'm an alcoholic going on
- 13:40Speaker 5: seven years sober. Eminem is very vocal about his sobriety.
- 13:43Speaker 5: And when I struggle, I think, if he can do it,
- 13:45Speaker 5: I can do it.
- 13:45Speaker 4: That's nice.
- 13:46Speaker 2: Oh, that is nice.
- 13:48Speaker 3: Let's see when I was young and motivated, Jack Lilaane.
- 13:53Speaker 3: Oh now I'm old and bitter, so Doug stan Hope.

- 14:07Speaker 2: The shore.
- 14:09Speaker 3: Ogden. Let's see it was sister Dotty Charles y nick Offerman.
- 14:21Speaker 3: There's something about him, isn't there be a manly man?
- 14:23Speaker 3: But be in touch with him makes you.
- 14:25Speaker 4: You That's exactly, that's perfectly distressed.
- 14:28Speaker 1: I was just listening to an interview with him and
- 14:31Speaker 1: he mentions his wife constantly in a in a good way,
- 14:37Speaker 1: I mean not, you know, it's just that she's such
- 14:40Speaker 1: a part of him that he comes up in conversation.
- 14:43Speaker 3: And finally, this from our attorney at Brass John Wick
- 14:48Speaker 3: or that teletubby purple Tinky Winky.
- 14:54Speaker 2: There you go,
