Transcript
- 0:01[SPEAKER_00]: Welcome to the Mile High Huddle Podcast with your football freeze, Chad Jensen and Zach Kilmer.
- 0:08[SPEAKER_00]: Remember, Broncos Country is not a geographical location.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_00]: It's a state of being.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_03]: Welcome, everybody, it's the Mile High Huddle Podcast.
- 0:24[SPEAKER_03]: It is, in fact, a gut reaction episode.
- 0:26[SPEAKER_03]: I'm your host, Chad Jins, and with me, my fellow football priest, you know him, you love him.
- 0:30[SPEAKER_03]: He is that Kelvin, Zach, today.
- 0:33[SPEAKER_03]: The Broncos officially made it official.
- 0:36[SPEAKER_03]: Davis Webb is the new Office of Coordinator.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_03]: The quarterbacks coach, as we surmised, if you're going to promote web to the O.C.
- 0:44[SPEAKER_03]: position, you're going to need someone to fill his shoes in the day to day with the quarterbacks.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_03]: Turns out, Sean Payton promoted offensive quality control assistant, Logan Killgore.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_03]: We'll get into all that stuff.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_03]: But first things first, your gut reaction to Davis web becoming the O.C.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I feel like this made too much sense and not to happen.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_02]: I give Sean Peyton a lot of credit for looking in the mirror and realizing what the problem with is with the Brock was offence and that's the play calling and that's the offensive coordinating and that side of the coaching staff.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_02]: So you kick out a long time ally and Joe Lombardy and he replaced him with a young up and coming assisted in Davis Web who was being cornered by multiple other teams.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_02]: The only question now as was before is will he be calling please in 2026 that I'm less sure of.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_03]: I'm especially less sure and yet the subject Zach continues to kind of percolate as if there is like an air of expectation that it might really happen.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_03]: And look, we saw a little bit what Davis Webb could bring to the table as an offensive coordinator.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_03]: I want to say it was the second
- 1:57[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it was, first game was Joe Lombardi, preseason last summer.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_03]: Second game, I think it was the Cardinals game off the top of my head was Davis Webb and steady look great, tore them up, put up some huge stats, but it was against second teamers and going against vanilla defense and whatnot.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_03]: Nevertheless though, it looked good.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_03]: Then Sean Peyton took back the controls in the third one and was the guy from then on out.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_03]: how feasible, how realistic I guess is a better word, should Broncos fans feel about the possibility of champagne, and actually given up from his grip, the play called Sheet.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, if I had to put like a mortgage payment on it right now, I would say that Sean Peyton not Davis Webb will be calling the plays in 2026, but there might be like a transitional period now Chad, maybe he gives Davis Webb more responsibilities on game day or during the week, maybe he lets Davis Webb call a few plays in a game and kind of dip his toes in the water without jumping in with his full body.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_02]: So to speak.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's an inevitability that that Davis Web will take over as the play caller.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_02]: Though in 2026, I still think it's Sean Pete's job.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_02]: So to speak, to lose.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_03]: Let's talk about this with the pop of bear jumping in with an early super chat, dear member about Rushmore is saying, good evening, Broncos country, light comment and share.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_03]: And of course, he's saying, giving some congratulations to offensive coordinator, Davis Web.
- 3:22[SPEAKER_03]: And look, it's kind of
- 3:26[SPEAKER_03]: I should say it's easy to lose the perspective, considering how in demand his name has been Zack in the hiring cycle the last two offseason, but especially this one.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_03]: But let's not forget, this fella is only three years into his coaching career.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_03]: Three years ago, he was still playing football.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_03]: In fact, he started a game.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_03]: He went basically from the New York Giant starting lineup.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_03]: To the Broncos coaching staff in a matter of like three weeks.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_03]: So his rise has been rapid, which I think is why It's fair for some of these head coaching vacancies.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, who knows how close he was to say the Raiders job or any of the others But for owners and GMs out there to kind of go let's let's see what he can do give him just a little bit more time to rip it on the vine But still Zach what a meteoric rise for a guy who was literally playing three short years ago
- 4:17[SPEAKER_02]: his rise is directly tied to bonuses and also Sean Payton's because he's learning under that tree so they've been doing well the last couple years and Davis Webb now is getting more eyeballs but it's ultimately a young man's business chat the NFL and you always want the next Sean McVay the next young up and coming wonder kind coach and they might have that with Davis Webb so I'm happy they're keeping him around for at least one more year.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_03]: Sam Bam jumping in also Mount Rushmore dear member and by the way, Sam, I saw your email and I just realizing it now, I saw it while I was traveling and on the t-shirts in case you missed last night's episode, the Mount Rushmore t-shirts
- 4:55[SPEAKER_03]: the care package going out this week.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_03]: So the probably see it there's a chance by end of week, but probably over the weekend or beginning of the week.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_03]: So just FYI on that Sam and all the Mount Rushmore superstars this week, it's going out.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_03]: Sam says though, even guys, welcome back Chad.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you, Paul.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_03]: hope you enjoyed the senior bull that I did had a lot of fun with Scott.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_03]: I'm really glad we're keeping VJ as the defensive coordinator and promoting web to OC.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_03]: Looking forward to seeing what happens this offseason in free agency draft, et cetera, go Broncos.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, not only that Sam, but there are still some coaching jobs, vacancies on the staff now to be filled because that
- 5:35[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, you filled the Joe Lombardi offensive coordinator position by promoting Davis Web.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_03]: You filled the quarterbacks by promoting Logan Kilgore, but are you going to bring in a pass game coordinator again?
- 5:47[SPEAKER_03]: Because that's a role that Sean Peyton had filled all three years that he's been head coach.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_03]: First two years was John Morton.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_03]: He's available right now.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_03]: And then last year, of course, was Davis Web.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_03]: And then on defense, you'll lose
- 6:01[SPEAKER_03]: You'll lose Jim Leonard your past game coordinator slash secondary coach to the bills and you lost your corner backs coach will see if they just bundle that into one higher and just higher us secondary coach and and last I forget last thing wide receivers carry culvert was was fired as well last week so Zach lots lots to look forward to still not only in the next week or so with some coaching hires but as sandbam points out with the draft for agency all that.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I woulda like Sam, first of all, thank you for your super as always.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_02]: I woulda liked getting those two third round picks for VJ, if you woulda got a head coaching job, but here we are.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm happy to at least have the continuity on defense.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_02]: And they kept a high value asset and Davis web as well.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, I'm looking forward a free agency in the draft.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_02]: As you are, as shadows, it's one of the most unpredictable and exciting parts of the year.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_02]: And we're always down for it.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_02]: So thank you again, man.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_03]: No doubt about it.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_03]: Great to see you Sam.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_03]: Appreciate you big dog.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_03]: We also have here checking in.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_03]: Well, first of all, lady D.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_03]: Gifting 20 MHH memberships on YouTube to folks in the chat.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_03]: We love you, Diana.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you so much.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm sure those folks are stoked tomorrow at noon mountain time to PME's during four of the members only.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_03]: Tell them it's corner hot takes the whole water from your boy.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_03]: Here's that kelvin minso.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_03]: Look forward to that guys.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_03]: And then also shout out David, youngkin who's been going through some stuff.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_03]: But let's celebrate.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_03]: He's been a dear member now for five months.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_03]: And of course, he's been a core member of the community for you.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_03]: dating back years so congrats and thank you David hope you're doing okay pal and things are progressing on your end.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_03]: We also have Shannon Mills who did one of these in the Twitter mentioned so that I could go oh that Shannon follow her back guys do that if you're in the chat every night and you're also following but I'm not following you back just do this in the chat I will follow you back and if you're not following on ex guys let's go come on now.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_03]: Shannon love you so much she says good evening glad to see web officially being hired as the OC today It should be interesting to see what his role will actually entail.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_03]: I like Kilgore as a QB coach to work with bow go Broncos.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so a little background on Kilgore
- 8:16[SPEAKER_03]: He is a former quarterback himself.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_03]: So I think Zach, that's valuable, that both of Bonyx's up to this point, pro quarterback coaches were former players themselves.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_03]: And Kilgar himself did make it to the NFL.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_03]: It only lasted a summer.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_03]: It was with Sean Payton's Norl and Saints back in 2014.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_03]: He got cut at the final roster cutdowns.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_03]: Then he took his talents to the CFL.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_03]: played for three different teams, about three quarters of the way through that he goes, well, I'm still trying to make it as a quarterback.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to try my hand at coaching.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_03]: He went back to his original alma mater and did some OC stuff, some Q because, anyway, then he's like, I'm done playing.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going into coaching.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_03]: And just as he was about to get full time into coaching in the college ranks, Sean Payton's Act takes his head coaching gig with the Broncos and calls him up and says, Hey, I know you're about to coach the tight ends at Arkansas State.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_03]: But how about you come be a quality of control coach on offense for me in Denver.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_03]: And that's where he's bent the last three years.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_03]: Now, over those three years, kill gore mostly spent the time working with tight ends, working with the returners.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_03]: He's now moving in to quarterbacks, which is obviously Zach an area of expertise.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_03]: Oh and last one last thing, he was the quarterback's coach and offensive coordinator for Arch Manning is senior year in high school.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_03]: So that's just a little cliff notes version of who Logan Kilgore is 36 years old.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_02]: I think what they're trying to do with them, they did with Davis Webb is take a guy who is a relatively unknown who played the position and work them up the coaching ranks.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_02]: So we'll see maybe in three to five years if Kilgore is an offensive coordinator or head coaching candidate higher.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_02]: But Shannon, I think Chad said a best with the background on him.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you so much for your generous super as always.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_03]: Guys, we have so, so much more to get to, but first, listen, Broncos country, it sucks.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_03]: Denver didn't make it to the football's biggest game, but listen up, the Super Bowl is right around the corner.

- 12:11[SPEAKER_03]: Greg Smith, love you big dog.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you so much for the support.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_03]: And we also have here George Fox, who
- 12:18[SPEAKER_03]: We've seen him migrate on over to YouTube here and there, but he loves Facebook and that's okay.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_03]: George, thank you, Paul, good to see you.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_03]: Says, do you have anyone that you want that's still out there for running back or wide receiver one?
- 12:31[SPEAKER_03]: Broncos for life, MHH is for life.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_03]: Hit the thumbs up guys, you heard him.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_03]: Zach, who is like, if you could just make a wish.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_03]: Now, keeping it within
- 12:39[SPEAKER_03]: the reasonable realm of guys who could be got, whether it's trade or free agency or draft, who would be your genie in the bottle, genie pops up, goes, okay, who do you want for a wide receiver one?
- 12:51[SPEAKER_03]: Zach says, uh, who do you want for running back one?
- 12:54[SPEAKER_03]: Zach says, what do you got?
- 12:56[SPEAKER_02]: Just as Jefferson if I'm a if I'm granted a wish from a genie, I'd like to make that trade even though it's not going to happen too much dead money Vikings would have to take on but maybe Garrett Wilson maybe Drank London maybe Chris O'Lave You could sign George pickin's is a free agent.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_02]: There's no shortage of quality receivers Chad the broccoli should be making a move for and as I said last Fine, I don't care of the compensation.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_02]: They would have to give up.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_02]: I don't care if it's the first round pick Jalen Wattles another one They just have to get bonus a blue chip stud running back
- 13:26[SPEAKER_02]: Bruce Hall's a for agent and I know he has a kind of an injury history, but he's a dual threat runner pass catcher.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_02]: He'd be excellent in a Sean Peyton system.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_03]: I'd like to see him, but I think he would be smart to I think Eric described it as monitor the situation with JK Dobbids and his free agent seed free agent Bronco free agent primer.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_03]: But what I'm doing is I'm going to
- 13:50[SPEAKER_03]: We love you.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_03]: You fit in here awesome.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_03]: We'll give you a two-year deal, but it's all all the guaranteed, you know, that the contract is structured around playtime incentives and the amount, you know, so it can feature up to, you know, give them some decent cash, whether it's like,
- 14:06[SPEAKER_03]: five, six million per year, so long as he hits all of his markers, bring him in for two years and say, hey, we're also going to be looking to make other upgrades to the room.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_03]: You're not necessarily grandfathered in RB1, but you're going to compete for RB1 and also look to make another high profile move, whether it is free agency, Zach, or the draft Broncos got to get bonix some guys in the backfield.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, RJ Harvey,
- 14:30[SPEAKER_03]: He's a nice weapon and especially handy Zack between or inside the 20s, but they need someone who can be consistent and reliable down to down in between the 20s, I guess, is the word, the phrase I'm looking for.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_02]: Brigham Allin, Brigham Brack, JK Dobbins, Brigham, Brigham, Brigham, Brigham, Brigham, Brigham, Brigham, Brigham, Brigham, Brigham, Brigham, Brigham, Brigham, Brigham, Brigham, Brigham, Brigham, Brigham, Brigham, Brigham, Brigham, Brigham, Brigham, Brigham, Brigham, Brigham, Brigham, Brigham, Brigham, Brigham, Brigham, Brigham, Brigham, Brigham, Brigham, Brigham, Br
- 15:00[SPEAKER_03]: Also, as Scott's bringing up, Scott covers the Atlanta Falcons beat daily, the Falcons have two free agents that should be on Denver's radar.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_03]: Big additions that they would be, by the way, to the Broncos, that's linebacker and brother to Jonah, Kate and Ellis, and the running back Tyler Algear.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_03]: So you've heard us mention Algear before he's a guy in particular to watch for and look,
- 15:26[SPEAKER_03]: Justin Sternad, you bring him back.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_03]: He wants a starting job kind of period and a story.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_03]: If I come back, I want to be the starter.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_03]: Alex Singleton, where are you going to do there?
- 15:34[SPEAKER_03]: But let's see what Ralph has to say.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_03]: Jumping in on Facebook, the brace girdle, the man of the brace girdle, planned good to see you pal, saying, I don't think web would have taken the job without play calling possibilities.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_03]: He could have gone anywhere and had full OC responsibilities.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_03]: Possibly.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_03]: Possibly Zach.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not sure I 100% agree here with with Ralph only because what do we know about Sean Peyton?
- 16:02[SPEAKER_03]: Sean Peyton has never not been the play caller.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_03]: Sean Peyton in my humble But educated opinion would if it came down to all stay if I call plays or go Sean Peyton would be finding a new offensive coordinator.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_03]: That's my opinion
- 16:17[SPEAKER_03]: And look, I hope I'm wrong.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_03]: I hope it ends up being collaborative where somehow some way they both contribute on the play calling side of things, we know that obviously Zach Davis Web is gonna be contributing plays and game planning and all that during the week, but in-game, who's calling those plays?
- 16:36[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, I could definitely see a possibility where he does call plays.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_02]: I think there's an on-ramp for him, Ralph, like I mentioned earlier in the show later in the season during preseason, more responsibilities during the week, maybe call a play here and there on Sundays.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_02]: But for Sean Payton making what he makes at second highest pay coach in the NFL or whatever he is now.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_02]: He also just took his team to the AFC title game with his play calling.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_02]: He's built up a franchise quarterback with his play calling.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not saying it's right, but this is Sean Payton's team.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_02]: And in Sean Payton's mind, Sean Payton doesn't have to give up play calling yet.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm happy they've retained web.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_02]: And I still think he's the future, but the present still is Payton.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_03]: Ralph, give our best to everybody, hope, hope the Bracetal clan is doing well.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_03]: Gene, Jimmy, everybody else.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_03]: Matthew, yes, descendants rule brother.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_03]: That's cool.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_03]: Your first punk show, 97.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_03]: That's awesome, dude.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_03]: Let's see what else we got here.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_03]: Ooh, Patrick McCracken weighing in.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to star him.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_03]: We'll get him in a little bit because it's kind of,
- 17:40[SPEAKER_03]: We got this frickin' Zeus MacPeak in the house.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_03]: Dude Zeus weighing in, he was the very first face that was etched in the MHH Mount Rushmore when we blasted it out of the Rocky Mountain Granite.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_03]: It was this guy right here that I recall Zach being the first ever person to drop a super chat when we were going live.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_03]: We didn't even know what a super chat was.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_03]: That's my recollection.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_03]: And, you know, granted that's
- 18:05[SPEAKER_03]: almost seven years old.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_03]: It's been that long.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_03]: Isn't that crazy?
- 18:08[SPEAKER_03]: Zeus, love you, Big Dog.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_03]: He says it's so disappointing watching Super Bowl week kickoff without the Broncos.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_03]: I know especially we were so close due to boat doesn't get hurt.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_03]: But I'm very excited on the Broncos future owners on down.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_03]: Continue to make good decisions.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_03]: Miami did the same and let two go.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_03]: Love you guys.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_03]: We love you too, Big Dog.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_03]: Is that what if you heard about
- 18:32[SPEAKER_02]: I have not heard much on too.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_02]: I would assume with the new coaching staff new regime, they don't have any loyalty to him.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_02]: Stu, I don't, I'm not that plugged into the Dolphids beat, but I do think he's on thin ice there and they will look to import their own quarterback.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_02]: They've quit yours that they drafted, he didn't show much as a rookie.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_02]: Whoever is the next quarterback, veteran or rookie, he's not on the roster yet.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_02]: That's what I feel like is going down.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_02]: But now our problem, fortunately.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_03]: We could check with our good buddy Alan who covers them on S.I.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_03]: there in Miami, but I'm just doing a quick search on two as name and there is a there is a report Zach that the dolphins have I'm not sure yet who the who the original reporter was that broke this but I'm seeing a post here did get community noted.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_03]: No, it's no reputable sources.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_03]: Sorry.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_03]: So there is a post that says the dolphins have informed to it that he'll be a post June 1 cut.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_03]: and then the it's got community noted saying that no reputable sources have confirmed that the dolphins have informed to attack a by a law of a release.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_03]: So FYI on that Zeus lady D speaking of Mount Rushmore again here she is a very generous super chat we love you she says hey chat in
- 19:56[SPEAKER_03]: praying that Coach Peyton gives play calling to web.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_03]: I'm happy VJ is staying.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_03]: Now we need healthy receiver one, running back one, and it tied in.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_03]: Where else do you think the offensive line needs help?
- 20:08[SPEAKER_03]: Go Broncos, MHH for life.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_03]: Well, you've got your entire starting five under contract.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_03]: set to return for 2026.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_03]: That's huge.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_03]: However, Mike McGlinchie, the all his guaranteed money Zach on that five year deal, he signed back in 2023, is basically up.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_03]: So he's not a candidate for release.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_03]: He's a candidate to approach him about a restructure and try and free up some money.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_03]: Bob Morris wrote about this yesterday.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_03]: Go give it a read, guys.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_03]: But he's a he's a he's a
- 20:38[SPEAKER_03]: candidate for that.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_03]: Ben Powers is another guy who, you know, most of his guaranteed stuff's gone.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_03]: You could do some restructure stuff there.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_03]: But only if you envision Ben Powers coming back after 2026.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_03]: So to me, it's more like left guard.
- 20:53[SPEAKER_03]: future consideration.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_03]: So what's your depth there?
- 20:56[SPEAKER_03]: Alex Pelchesky showed pretty well when he was called upon for the most part this year at left guard.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_03]: But Zach, the biggest vulnerability is God forbid.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_03]: God forbid.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_03]: I like Frank Chrome.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_03]: I loved his touchdown, but he's still very raw athletic though he is.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_03]: God forbid anything happened to garables or Mike McGlanthey.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_03]: You need a bonafide legit
- 21:24[SPEAKER_02]: It might be just me, but I would feel a lot better if Luke Wattenberg at center had a little more competition and they they I don't know I still feel like the old line was bully a lot especially in the playoffs especially against the Patriots chat know that game they were the entire team was off, but Bow nicks.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_02]: This is my opinion feel free to disagree.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_02]: Bow nicks made the old line look better than they really were.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_02]: They were really good.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_02]: Don't get me wrong, but Bowen mixes his capability and his pocket presence and his his take-off ability made them look a little better than they were.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_02]: So I'll say center the interior of the line.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_02]: You mentioned Ben Powers.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_02]: I'll throw a Wattenberg in there as well.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_03]: It did.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not going to lie.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_03]: We had heard how much the Broncos loved Wattenberg, but it did surprise me when they paid him the way they did during the buy.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_03]: I didn't hate it,
- 22:15[SPEAKER_03]: is he that?
- 22:16[SPEAKER_03]: Is he worth that money for sure?
- 22:18[SPEAKER_03]: But the Broncos are all in on him.
- 22:20[SPEAKER_03]: And foresight, let's see, contract here was no foresight was 23.
- 22:25[SPEAKER_03]: So 3, 4, 5.
- 22:27[SPEAKER_03]: So so foresight in the contract here, you're going to have to decide what you're going to do back up center beyond 2026.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_03]: And maybe Zack, they preempt that in the draft this year.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's part of the problem though even though Wattonburg is locked up he has no real fear of job loss.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_02]: He has no one's really pushed him.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_02]: Forsight isn't an adequate long-term replacement form and we saw the drop-off in play.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_02]: I just put like if they want to pick up maybe a true veteran center just to sit behind Wattonburg and push him a little more than Forsight has been doing.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_03]: There you have it, lady D. We love you.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you so much for the membership and
- 23:05[SPEAKER_03]: We are blessed.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_03]: That's for sure.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_03]: Taylor Christensen jumping in here.
- 23:08[SPEAKER_03]: Dear member long time super star saying glad that Davis web was promoted.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_03]: He needs to call the place from now on or be given a chance George Peyton and AJ past George Pickings and AJ Brown.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.
- 23:27[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you.
- 23:27[SPEAKER_03]: What would we do with that?
- 23:28[SPEAKER_03]: What would I do without that?
- 23:31[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you got to worry a little bit about the culture side of things with pickins and AJ you brought that up last night in relation to George Pickins like what a dynamic guy he would be because he fit the culture.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_03]: But then he goes on to say Taylor trade a first and a fifth round or four Garrett Wilson that's his solution.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'm right there with you, Taylor, they're all fantastic receivers and they would qualify as the number one, the true number one, bona fide that bone, next desperately desperately needs and doesn't have, but you're right to call out the locker room, culture issues, there are demons, there are head cases, and when things go wrong, you it really gets amplified.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_02]: Garrett Wilson doesn't have that baggage.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_02]: He's a tremendous receiver, and he would make a really good compliment with quote and son.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_03]: I love the the aggressive mindset Taylor, not sure a first and a fifth would get it done for Wilson, by the way, but who knows, I think the Broncos will be having those conversations and make at least pardon me exact checking on on the status, what it would take making a few phone calls when the time comes so.
- 24:33[SPEAKER_03]: They got to get a few other ducks in a row first, such as fill these coaching vacancies, but the time soon comes.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_03]: Taylor, thank you, Big Dog.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_03]: All right, guys, we still have a lot more to get to, but first, Valentine's Day Broncos Country.

- 26:11[SPEAKER_02]: Celebrate every day love with comfort that makes a little moments count.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_03]: there you go.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_03]: All right, going back to the chat here, I wanted to grab this.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to read it off off screen because it's a long one Patrick McCrack and always there on Facebook he says, bro, Denver beats Seattle next week if they had beaten the Patriots.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_03]: If Botanix was healthy, I could go there with you.
- 26:34[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not sure Zach, the Jarrett Stidham, even in a relatively sterile good weather environment of Santa Clara, I'm not sure Jarrett has the quite enough sand Zach to get it done against such a well coach team and talented team like Seattle.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_03]: However, he says if Sir Tan can lock up JSN on most of
- 27:01[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, the point there.
- 27:03[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 27:03[SPEAKER_03]: I see what you're trying to say, Zach, let's, let's say, I mean, we got to face what the reality of the situation was if the Broncos take the points, they're, they're, they got 10 first half points.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_03]: And let's say, well, let's make one of those two, Phil goes that he missed and they win 13 10 and advance to the Super Bowl is steady.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_03]: How would you view that match up against the Seahawks?
- 27:30[SPEAKER_02]: This is all like the verbal equivalent of self-harmed though.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_02]: We're all just like opening up the wooing and not letting it heal I agree if bone X1 we wouldn't be having this conversation and it's arguable that the Broncos should have won that game even with Jared Stitham Chad Who had the ball in his hands multiple times in the fourth quarter down only a feelable and couldn't get it done
- 27:49[SPEAKER_02]: You never know what can happen in NFL games, especially the Super Bowl.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, raise your hand if you thought that C-Hawks would blow out the Broncos the way they did back in the day, but ultimately, like Chad was saying realistically, the C-Hawks seem like they just have it all this year.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_02]: They're all fences.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_02]: How many with Sam Darnl, the defenses playing gray under Mike McDonalds?
- 28:06[SPEAKER_02]: That's my pick to win the suit.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, to beat the Patriots, and I kind of grew with Chad, even if the Broncos would have made it, despite the any given Sunday mantra, I wouldn't have liked your chances of this to them.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_02]: Not gonna lie.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_03]: For obvious reasons, Seattle Seahawks as a Super Bowl pick is one of my least favorites.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_03]: It's akin to picking the Niners or
- 28:30[SPEAKER_03]: you know, Washington or even the giants, like those are the teams that obliterate at the br- then just beat the Broncos in the Super Bowl obliterate at the Broncos, but my hatred of all things New England Patriots, even post- hoodie, even post- Tom Brady persists, but even if I didn't fill that way, Zach, about the Patriots, just as objectively speaking as I possibly
- 28:56[SPEAKER_03]: There's no way the Patriots win this game.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I'm sorry, the C-Hawks have no excuse, no excuse.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_03]: They got a win this game, andally.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_02]: I would be really surprised if the Seahawks did not win this game.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_02]: I think they're going to give Drake May a hell of a time on defense.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_02]: They're going to force multiple turnovers.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_02]: And I wasn't that impressed with the Patriots.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_02]: They played well on defense, but if the Broncos have their quarterback and by the way, they're starting running back, that would have been a lot different.
- 29:23[SPEAKER_02]: I do think Seattle wins this game and they wouldn't handle it.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_02]: Though, I don't like it either.
- 29:27[SPEAKER_02]: Patriots, trolls and Seahawks trolls have been in my mentions for a while now, months.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_02]: So it's kind of a lose lose around these parts.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_03]: It's like Scott said, during the gut reaction episode after the AFC title game, we still don't know how good the Patriots really are.
- 29:42[SPEAKER_03]: Like given credit, they won those two playoff games at home, but they got it easy, man, in the AFC title game.
- 29:49[SPEAKER_03]: Again, credit, they went on the road, won in the elements, but they got so lucky.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_03]: So lucky, the bone mix was lost for the season.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_03]: a week before so we still don't know how good they are so i guess in that sense there is the the chance that they could
- 30:05[SPEAKER_03]: swoop in under the radar, Zach kind of and surprise everybody against the seahawks.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_03]: I think it'll be semi-competitive first half.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_03]: And then you'll see the seahawks really pull away in the second.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_03]: Glenn, I'm going to read your comment here off off screen.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you so much, buddy.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_03]: And then we got a couple of supers.
- 30:23[SPEAKER_03]: He says, Zach and Broncos Chad Zach and Broncos Country been here in some rumblings.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_03]: The Vikings are going to have to trade some players
- 30:35[SPEAKER_03]: Then we could spend on the wide receiver like water, pickin''s type or breeze hall.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_03]: Justin Jefferson might be a reach on the current deal, unless we redid his deal, thoughts, I may change for life, state of being super bull.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, what are your thoughts on that, Zach?
- 30:51[SPEAKER_02]: As someone who knows Hawkinson from having him in fantasy the last couple years, I think he's on the downside.
- 30:56[SPEAKER_02]: Now, I think he's getting older.
- 30:58[SPEAKER_02]: His injury history is starting to stack up.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want the Broncos to go in that direction.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_02]: They kind of went in that direction with Evan Ingraham and that Joker role never materialized.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know who the answer is.
- 31:08[SPEAKER_02]: It's tight end.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_02]: I haven't really thought about that.
- 31:10[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe they acquire Kyle Pitz or someone like that.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_02]: We were talking about Atlanta players, but they need someone dynamic that could stretch the field and catch passes and doesn't have an injury history.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_02]: Who that is?
- 31:21[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know quite yet.
- 31:22[SPEAKER_03]: And it appears.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_03]: Evan Ingraham is at least expecting to come back.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_03]: I do expect him back, but you never know.
- 31:30[SPEAKER_03]: You never know.
- 31:30[SPEAKER_03]: He was a disappointment relative to the expectations with his contract, but then again,
- 31:37[SPEAKER_03]: finished third on the team and receiving, but we know it could and should be guys so much better at tied in.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_03]: We've got the Duchess checking in, Michaela Parker.
- 31:47[SPEAKER_03]: And her symbol is pretty clear with her YouTube profile pic.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_03]: She's pining for Bose return and rejoice Michaela because he'll be back in May just in time for the offseason training program to really kick off in earnest
- 32:01[SPEAKER_03]: He'll be good to go for the season so that's the good news.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_03]: We love you.
- 32:06[SPEAKER_03]: She says so happy for web I think web and Sean will share play calling and yes, the pats will get killed Yeah, man, it'll be interesting to see Zach as she points out here like is it gonna change at all because I think Personally and this is not me saying what I want to happen.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_03]: I'm telling you what I think is happening
- 32:29[SPEAKER_03]: Sean Peyton brought him back probably with no assurances whatsoever about play calling.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_03]: It was simply, hey, man, you had some bites at the apple head coach consideration a few different places.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_03]: Obviously, none of them really came through, probably because from a duties and responsibility perspective,
- 32:47[SPEAKER_03]: and your relative experience as a coach.
- 32:50[SPEAKER_03]: Team is want to see how you perform in a slightly higher profile slot.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm going to give you offensive coordinator this year.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_03]: And then maybe that doesn't enough to get you over the hump in the next coaching cycle.
- 33:04[SPEAKER_03]: But I could be wrong.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_03]: I could be wrong.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_03]: But Sean Payton's been coaching the plays men since even before, or calling the play since before 2006, when it became head coach of the Saints.
- 33:15[SPEAKER_02]: And for my first of all, McKayla, thank you so much.
- 33:18[SPEAKER_02]: First, much as we talk about her, I talk about Sean Peyton, maybe having that come to Jesus moment with himself in the mirror.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_02]: I think the ego will win out and he'll realize like his play calling led him with the quarterback he hands selected to the AFC title game and the out that he has in there, the plausible deniability was, well, I was saddled with Jared's to them.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't have my starting quarterback.
- 33:39[SPEAKER_02]: I had my backup and what do you want me to do?
- 33:41[SPEAKER_02]: And instead of turn the ball over,
- 33:43[SPEAKER_02]: But I do think you're right, Michaela, and as I mentioned before, there's going to be some sort of on-ramp for web to handle play calling.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_02]: It'll start incremental and it'll start small, but I think Sean trusts him enough to give him this role.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_02]: And Sean will trust him enough to give him the play calling.
- 33:57[SPEAKER_02]: He is the future.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_02]: Absolutely.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm excited for them.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm really interested to see how it looks with Kilgore as the quarterback's coach.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, obviously Zack, like if you go back and so when we have to write up an article on a given topic, all right?
- 34:15[SPEAKER_03]: The resource we use for images, if you search
- 34:21[SPEAKER_03]: Bonyx or Joe Lombardi as an example.
- 34:24[SPEAKER_03]: That's the reason I haven't brought this up.
- 34:26[SPEAKER_03]: You're going to have a hard time finding any images directly of him in a Broncos uniform.
- 34:30[SPEAKER_03]: However, if you search Bonyx training camp, Bonyx OTAs, there are so many shots of Bonyx do it going through his reps and right behind him.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_03]: stand and overwatching everything was Joe Lombardi.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_03]: So Davis Webb, aside from the obvious, he's the offense according to going to be intimately involves acts still with Bow and the quarterback room.
- 34:51[SPEAKER_03]: But I'm real curious to see how it looks with Kilgore and I'm excited for it actually because again, former quarterback himself.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_03]: So he's got that credibility, can speak the Lingo.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_03]: He's walked the walk.
- 35:03[SPEAKER_03]: He's had to talk to the talk and walk the walk.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_03]: I'm interested and excited for Kilgore as well.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_02]: And remember, the 2024, the famous, the infamous sideline, a little exchange, the heated exchange between Sean Payton and Bonyx, who is in the middle of that, Davis Web?
- 35:18[SPEAKER_02]: And who's side to Davis Web take?
- 35:20[SPEAKER_02]: Bonyx is, and he, you know, fought back for him.
- 35:23[SPEAKER_02]: He, he taught back to Sean Payton in defense of his quarterback in Bonyx.
- 35:27[SPEAKER_02]: Now, if you think back a year before that,
- 35:29[SPEAKER_02]: when Sean Peyton went off on Russell Wilson.
- 35:32[SPEAKER_02]: Davis Webb was also there.
- 35:33[SPEAKER_02]: Davis Webb did the same thing that Russell Wilson did just there at the ground and and took it didn't go to that form.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_02]: There's a big difference in that chat and it's important having that buffer between player and head coach.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_03]: Michaela we love you so much the ladies of MHH once again showing out on this Monday night.
- 35:50[SPEAKER_03]: We got madding to 85 checking in on super chat.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you big dog.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_03]: Really appreciate your support.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_03]: Says that kind of looks like Davis Webb.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I could kind of see it.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_03]: Have we ever seen both of them in the same room?
- 36:04[SPEAKER_03]: All the way to men is act of secrets getting out.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, dude.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_03]: I got to go and go and show her content, guys.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_03]: Keep it up.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you, Matt, really appreciate your big dog.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_03]: And he might have sniffed out the secret, Zach.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, next I'll take his salary.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_02]: That'd be nice, but I appreciate that.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_02]: Madding.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_02]: Maddington.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_03]: Maddington.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_03]: Maddington, thank you.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_03]: appreciate your big guide.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_03]: All right, guys, lots more to get to.
- 36:27[SPEAKER_03]: There's still a ton of conversation to be had, but listen, guys.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_03]: Broncos Country never before has online privacy been more important.
- 36:35[SPEAKER_03]: That is where Surfshark comes in and it's an absolute game changer.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_03]: Surfshark is a virtual private network which covers all your online activity using a VPN guys.

- 38:27[SPEAKER_03]: We got the original, a dizzy, de-checking in on super checkered to see you pal.
- 38:31[SPEAKER_03]: Saying draft, tight end, sedic, out of Oregon, the perfect Joker.
- 38:37[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah dude, he is a very interesting player.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_03]: I'm working to pull up his stats real quick.
- 38:47[SPEAKER_03]: Obviously, a lot more goes into analyzing Canyon Sadique than just his stats, but Zach, this past season, 51 receptions, 56 yards, eight touchdowns.
- 39:01[SPEAKER_02]: I saw a mock giraffe.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_02]: I think it was PFF that had sedicate of the first round and it had the brachos taking a safety at 30.
- 39:08[SPEAKER_02]: So, I don't know what they were thinking there, but I would like this pick a lot, Dizzy.
- 39:12[SPEAKER_02]: I don't, it's hard to tell now in February where they're going to go.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_02]: It depends how they address these needs and for agency and stuff, but if they don't do that, I would like a lot for them to target another pass-catching weapon for
- 39:26[SPEAKER_03]: We got lady deep jump it in again off the top row for one of these.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, bam.
- 39:31[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you so much, Diana.
- 39:33[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, you are so awesome in generous and this time of year you heard me say it last night, this time of year.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_03]: It really does help us keep the lights on as things kind of start slowing down.
- 39:43[SPEAKER_03]: A lot of the Broncos readers and listeners that kind of take a break for a while and check back intermittently.
- 39:49[SPEAKER_03]: So you help us out tremendously.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_03]: We love you.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_03]: She says, going to blow, going to be a blow out Seattle victory, bummer, for sure.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_03]: I agree with Zach, we need to get a really great center.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_03]: And as both of you said, sure up the line for the next runner up.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_03]: Can't wait for the draft to start my opinion.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_03]: Sean Payton is having issues getting calls in.
- 40:11[SPEAKER_03]: So web, uh,
- 40:15[SPEAKER_03]: to call plays.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_03]: I think maybe was that was she was going to say that was an issue at Times Zach.
- 40:20[SPEAKER_03]: It has been the two years really all three years that Sean Payton has been the head coach.
- 40:25[SPEAKER_03]: Russ had problems with it.
- 40:27[SPEAKER_03]: Lots of delay games, unnecessary timeouts.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_03]: It's been an issue not as bad, especially in 2025.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_03]: It's been an issue though with bone X as well.
- 40:35[SPEAKER_03]: Part of that, though, is the lingo of the playbook and the system and doesn't matter who's calling those plays, the lingo is the lingo comes in through the, you know, the ears, the headphones, whatever in the helmet and bone access to just regurgitate and spit out.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_03]: Question is, you know, can you get those playcalls in earlier in the sequence?
- 40:57[SPEAKER_03]: And I think that's something the Broncos as an area of improvement can certainly focus on.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_02]: That's exactly it.
- 41:03[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, the play calls are like 45 seconds long.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_02]: And there was a great shot of bonus in the huddle and his rookie season looking back at the sideline while the play call was still being delivered.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_02]: Like, he looked like, are you kidding me?
- 41:15[SPEAKER_02]: It's really like this.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_02]: So I think you're honest on thing Dianna because if you ever heard Sean Payton speak publicly, he's a very kind of belabored speaker, a lot of ohms and stops and starts.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_02]: Very slow at times.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe Dave's Web speaks faster.
- 41:29[SPEAKER_03]: And maybe that can help like you're saying they're getting the play call in faster, even if it's the same amount of verbiage talking faster help sometimes I would know you think there'd be a smarter way to condense it for the West Coast offense guys like Sean Peyton John groan's a great example of I watch a lot of his YouTube content since he started doing that signing up whatever he did with bar stool or whatever.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_03]: I watched a lot of his content and occasionally as he's going through his stuff, breaking stuff down, you'll hear him spit out plays and boil boys that are they long, they are long and I think to myself, because every, every word in the play call as it comes through,
- 42:10[SPEAKER_03]: is telling a player and a position, what exactly they're doing on that play?
- 42:16[SPEAKER_03]: It's wild, but you still think there'd be a way from a human communication perspective to condense that even more, because like you said, I mean, that might be exaggerating a little bit, but 45 seconds to get the play called just spit out of your mouth, let alone for bone next or then regurgitate it to the guys, then get to the line, then make your checks, and then set up.
- 42:40[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's, hopefully, Diana and, and thank you.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_02]: I want to thank you.
- 42:44[SPEAKER_02]: We, we took the comment off the screen, but thank you so much for your generous support as always.
- 42:48[SPEAKER_02]: And maybe you're on a something and we're, it's going to be definitely interesting to see how they handle the play calling with Davis Web now, the OC.
- 42:55[SPEAKER_03]: We got two song Phil checking in.
- 42:57[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you, brother.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_03]: Good to see you on Facebook saying, good evening, Chad Zach and Deacon Scott is Nick Garjulo still a Bronco.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_03]: I really like his play.
- 43:07[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, he is.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_03]: he is still under team control.
- 43:12[SPEAKER_03]: I think because I got to remind myself of something real quick.
- 43:16[SPEAKER_03]: I think because he was waived and then resigned to the practice squad as a rookie.
- 43:24[SPEAKER_03]: In 2024, he becomes a exclusive rights freedom.
- 43:30[SPEAKER_03]: this year.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_03]: So he missed all of this past season because of his ACL, but either way, I'm not sure exactly the classification without researching it here, live.
- 43:38[SPEAKER_03]: It's either exclusive rights or RFA, but I'm pretty sure it's exclusive rights this time.
- 43:43[SPEAKER_03]: So he's still under team control.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_03]: He's an option, but you don't know how the big guys are going to recover from injuries like that.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
- 43:50[SPEAKER_02]: And I think the Broncos were betting on him to be something in the interior offensive line.
- 43:54[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe the successor for Ben Powers, or maybe a someone that competed center.
- 44:01[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, but he was kind of being hyped in training camp in the preseason before going down.
- 44:06[SPEAKER_02]: It's kind of a shame there, but yeah, he'll be a Bronco in 2026 and hopefully competing first spot along the offensive line.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_03]: And that hype was for good reason he was after basically kind of redshirting his rookie year on the practice squad, by the way, it's not like they released him and moved on, they cut him, kept them around on the squad.
- 44:26[SPEAKER_03]: So he was with the team all year long competing.
- 44:29[SPEAKER_03]: He had a pretty big turn around year two training camp and he was impressed in people man.
- 44:37[SPEAKER_03]: He was on his way to maybe not Zach challenging a highly paid entrenched starter like
- 44:45[SPEAKER_03]: Ben Powers for an actual starting job, but like giving you some real peace of mind that you got a good rotational backup guy if and when the situation demands it turns out situation did demand it.
- 45:11[SPEAKER_03]: for last year.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_02]: I think you're absolutely correct with that in terms of how they configured Gargulo last season and where he fits now, but you can never have too many good bodies along the OL.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_02]: So like I said, hopefully he gets back healthy and he competes for some backup spot.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, sir, let's hope he has some good fortune with his recovery fill.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_03]: That's for sure, buddy.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_03]: McKayla jumping in again from the ladies of MHH, Flex and Hard, and we love, we love you so much.
- 45:39[SPEAKER_03]: McKayla says, my wish list in free agency.
- 45:43[SPEAKER_03]: As follows, Kyle Pitz, Waddle, Devon Lloyd, oh, man, how awesome would it be to get a Devon Lloyd?
- 45:51[SPEAKER_03]: I loved him coming out of Utah.
- 45:54[SPEAKER_03]: Hall or Algear thought so Breeze Hall or Algears the two running backs.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_03]: I like them.
- 45:59[SPEAKER_03]: I think, uh, man.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_03]: That would that would make for one hell of a veteran offseason edition class, Zach.
- 46:08[SPEAKER_03]: Probably not going to be able to get them all though, right?
- 46:10[SPEAKER_03]: So Kyle pits every single year.
- 46:14[SPEAKER_03]: He's rumored to be going this way that way, et cetera.
- 46:18[SPEAKER_03]: Waddle, you're going to have to trade, though, if you want to.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_03]: How are you feeling about her wish list?
- 46:23[SPEAKER_03]: Which is awesome.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_03]: It's why it's called a wish list.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_02]: I love it man.
- 46:27[SPEAKER_02]: It kind of gives me the tingles and you're right.
- 46:30[SPEAKER_02]: It would kind of it would remind me of the 2020-2014 Excuse me the famous off-season John O'ay had then when he loaded up on all the start talent some of those are more attainable like Kyle pitch Let's say or Algier or even Bruce Hall Jalen Waddle though.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_02]: Let's not forget the Broncos did peek in on him at the trade deadline He was deemed too expensive
- 46:50[SPEAKER_02]: if the, if the dolphins want to first round picks, I don't think George is on patent or biting, but the first round pick they can maybe work with that.
- 46:56[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm right there with you though, address the biggest needs and go into the draft, allowing true BPA best player available at 20.
- 47:04[SPEAKER_03]: It's really interesting.
- 47:05[SPEAKER_03]: I'll, I'll be very interested to see if Lloyd actually hits free agency.
- 47:09[SPEAKER_03]: So he's through scheduled to be unrestricted.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_03]: But guys, that mythical coverage linebacker who can also play the run that we've been searching for
- 47:20[SPEAKER_03]: He is him.
- 47:21[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, if you just look exact, first three years in the NFL, he's over triple digit tackles every single year.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_03]: He also had three picks as a rookie.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_03]: He's got nine total interceptions as a four-year veteran, five of which Zach came last season, and he earned second team all pro honors.
- 47:42[SPEAKER_03]: And what's crazy about it is it was also the only season that he didn't get over triple digits and tackles, but he did miss two games nevertheless.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_03]: Devon Lloyd, man, if he were actually available.
- 47:56[SPEAKER_03]: Him with Drake Greenlaw as the presumptive starting duo, I could get really excited about that.
- 48:03[SPEAKER_03]: While I go like this and cross my fingers that Drake's going to have a little bit better health.
- 48:12[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's a good point.
- 48:13[SPEAKER_02]: You bring up Chad that some of these players could just resign with their current team.
- 48:17[SPEAKER_02]: There's no guarantee they're going to even reach the open marketer.
- 48:19[SPEAKER_02]: The Broncos are going to get a chance to acquire them.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_02]: But I really like where you're leaning here, Michaela, booster offense, help out Bowenix and fill your biggest weakness on defense and that's inside linebacker.
- 48:30[SPEAKER_02]: Love it.
- 48:30[SPEAKER_02]: And thank you for the supporters always.
- 48:32[SPEAKER_03]: We love you, my friend.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you so much.
- 48:36[SPEAKER_03]: We also have here where
- 48:37[SPEAKER_03]: Almost out of time, we're coming up on 50 minutes.
- 48:40[SPEAKER_03]: So any burning topics, questions, supers, get them in the chat.
- 48:43[SPEAKER_03]: Greg, with a second super chat tonight, dear member, OG, say, I'm still learning this YouTube stuff after Facebook.
- 48:50[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's so much better.
- 48:52[SPEAKER_03]: for podcasts, entertainment, edification, whatever you want to call it, YouTube is infinitely better for the end user.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_03]: Facebook has become just absolute trash.
- 49:05[SPEAKER_03]: You don't see any of the things as a user that you actually want to see.
- 49:09[SPEAKER_03]: Instead of logging on and jumping on your home page and seeing what your friends and family are posting, what all your favorite pages are posting, you get ad, ad, real.
- 49:20[SPEAKER_03]: add real from a page or mean that you don't even follow or know what it is.
- 49:25[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, and there's what mom posted last night.
- 49:27[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 49:28[SPEAKER_03]: real ad ad.
- 49:30[SPEAKER_03]: It's like absolutely ridiculous.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_03]: I'm surprised that to this day with how badly they've botched their algorithm that anyone still uses Facebook at all.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_03]: And the other reason we still stream there is because we do have many dedicated members that that's that's where they want they like watching the show.
- 49:47[SPEAKER_03]: But Greg, I'm glad that you're making the transition to
- 49:55[SPEAKER_03]: It's losing publishers and pages and it's losing users.
- 49:59[SPEAKER_03]: So pretty soon, it's gonna be pretty much empty anyway.
- 50:04[SPEAKER_02]: I can't remember the last time I logged on a Facebook for a non-business reason.
- 50:08[SPEAKER_02]: I think my profile picture is still my 24-7 head shot.
- 50:11[SPEAKER_02]: That's how long it's been.
- 50:12[SPEAKER_02]: And there's just no need for it.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_02]: You once asked me chat offline about a year ago, maybe a year and a half.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_02]: How much of your content do you consume on YouTube?
- 50:21[SPEAKER_02]: And it was like 50 percent then.
- 50:23[SPEAKER_02]: Now it's 100 percent.
- 50:24[SPEAKER_02]: I am on YouTube all the time and like you were saying, it's definitely the superior option.
- 50:30[SPEAKER_03]: No doubt about it.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_03]: So, glad you're making that transition, Greg.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you, big dog.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_03]: And real quick, a correction on Gargulo.
- 50:37[SPEAKER_03]: He's under contract in 2026.
- 50:40[SPEAKER_03]: He'll be an RFA restricted free agent, 2027.
- 50:43[SPEAKER_03]: So that's really good news guys.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_03]: Let's keep our fingers crossed that he has good recovery on that on that knee.
- 50:50[SPEAKER_03]: Greg, love you big dog.
- 50:52[SPEAKER_03]: All right, guys, let's see what some of the members have to say here before we dip out Todd Austin Dorsey and honestly, I had kind of hope that VJ would get a head coaching job because that would give the Broncos another
- 51:07[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
- 51:08[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's that's what I was saying earlier Todd.
- 51:10[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I'm happy that he's staying for continuity and he's still a good coach if he just gets his some of the corrections.
- 51:15[SPEAKER_02]: We saw after the buy some of those issues corrected, but I would have liked having two third round picks if he would have been a nice consolation press.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_03]: We got Pearl jumping in and we need a receiver that does not drop balls.
- 51:29[SPEAKER_03]: You can say that again, sister, because it was pretty bad.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, only one team was worse than the Broncos in 2025 when it came to drops.
- 51:37[SPEAKER_03]: Broncos had 43 drops, and unfortunately, Zach had persisted into the playoffs.
- 51:43[SPEAKER_02]: How about two receivers that don't drop past this pearl?
- 51:46[SPEAKER_02]: That's the, they need to go all in, not nickel and diamond around bone nicks anymore, not using duct tape and gum to work up this reporting cast around bone nicks.
- 51:57[SPEAKER_02]: They need to go all in.
- 51:58[SPEAKER_02]: If that means acquiring multiple top end receivers, so be it.
- 52:01[SPEAKER_02]: Can never have too many.
- 52:03[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, we've got also, let's see, where did it go?
- 52:06[SPEAKER_03]: M. Blacks saying, how many first round picks do the Jets have right now?
- 52:12[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, I'm doing a, let's see, 2026 first round.
- 52:16[SPEAKER_03]: They've got two firsts.
- 52:18[SPEAKER_03]: One that came, uh,
- 52:21[SPEAKER_03]: from the cults.
- 52:23[SPEAKER_03]: They've got two seconds, a third of fourth of three fifths, a six, two six, three sevens.
- 52:30[SPEAKER_03]: So they've got a war chest, Zach, and they could, you know, they could even stockpile more if they deal a few more assets away.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_03]: It'll be interesting to see how they approach that.
- 52:42[SPEAKER_02]: There's still the jets though, and then the jets are always going to jets, Chad, no matter what they have.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_02]: They don't have a quarterback either, so
- 52:48[SPEAKER_03]: That sucks.
- 52:49[SPEAKER_03]: Sue Gibson shout out.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_03]: It's great to see you in the chat.
- 52:53[SPEAKER_03]: Um, let me see what else we got here from the members.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, yeah, I hear you Pearl.
- 52:58[SPEAKER_03]: She says my problem.
- 52:59[SPEAKER_03]: I hate both the sea hocks and the paths.
- 53:01[SPEAKER_03]: I know it's like damned if you do damned if you don't, but I don't know man.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_03]: In almost any other context, there's basically four teams.
- 53:14[SPEAKER_03]: that I cannot root for that are in the AFC in the Super Bowl.
- 53:17[SPEAKER_03]: Three AFC Wests, right?
- 53:19[SPEAKER_03]: Well, no, and the Patriots.
- 53:22[SPEAKER_03]: In every other instance, I wired myself as a child of the 80s to just root for the AFC team, just because the NFC had such a long reign of Super Bowl dominance that I just, as a guy always rooting for the underdog's act, I'm going, AFC, let's go.
- 53:39[SPEAKER_03]: But in this instance, I'm sorry, as much as I also load the seahawks, I just can't, I cannot wish for a Patriot Super Bowl victory.
- 53:50[SPEAKER_02]: I got to be honest, Pearl, my interest in even watching the Super Bowl this year is very miniscule because it's a loose loose.
- 53:58[SPEAKER_02]: Either you're going to have seahawks fan celebrating or Patriots fan celebrating and they're going to be equally as obnoxious.
- 54:03[SPEAKER_02]: So, I don't know, whatever happens happens, I guess.
- 54:07[SPEAKER_03]: All right, guys, we're going to grab a few messages for you and then while Zach's going over those messages, I'm going to take one last look at the chat here and don't go anywhere.

- 55:22[SPEAKER_03]: All right, two more from the members.
- 55:24[SPEAKER_03]: We got Raj, the string guy, saying, Zach, is there anyone in the draft?
- 55:29[SPEAKER_03]: You would trade up for Broncos, of course, setting that pick 30 overall.
- 55:34[SPEAKER_02]: I don't really have a specific name for you right now, Raj.
- 55:37[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not in full draft mode quite yet.
- 55:39[SPEAKER_02]: I can give you a macro answer.
- 55:41[SPEAKER_02]: We talked about Siddik earlier on this podcast.
- 55:43[SPEAKER_02]: I wouldn't trade up for him, but he would be an option at 30.
- 55:47[SPEAKER_02]: Basically, any wide receiver they deem as a blue chip number one long term guy.
- 55:53[SPEAKER_02]: I don't care what it costs if they think that guy could be that guy or a running back let's say that's why I want them to trade up for.
- 56:00[SPEAKER_02]: I'll have a more specific answer for you though as we get closer to the draft.
- 56:05[SPEAKER_03]: You know, like depending on how the board falls, I'd like to see some Jeremiah love.
- 56:10[SPEAKER_03]: I wouldn't mind, I don't know about trading all the way up from 30 though, it'd be pricey to get all the way up there.
- 56:15[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, good question, buddy.
- 56:17[SPEAKER_03]: We're almost out of time though, rock jumping in to say I'm only trading.
- 56:22[SPEAKER_03]: is making a trade to improve the skill positions.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_03]: Rock is only trading for Justin Jefferson because he wanted him over Jerry Judy and CD Lamb back in that, what was his act 2020 draft?
- 56:36[SPEAKER_03]: Was it 2020?
- 56:37[SPEAKER_03]: Was it 2020, Mo?
- 56:38[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so we'd love to see it, dude.
- 56:41[SPEAKER_03]: And if it's true that the Vikings are looking to start shedding some personnel to free up cap space,
- 56:51[SPEAKER_03]: make that phone call, George Payton's act, he's got all the ends there with the with that franchise, but I just can't see them with still the need to develop their franchise quarterback, that they're kind of left no choice, but to kind of see it through, you're going to deprive Bonyx of Cortland Sutton, so to speak, but an even better Cortland Sutton, that's what the Vikings would be.
- 57:15[SPEAKER_03]: And what go draft another one, you already have the best
- 57:20[SPEAKER_02]: Jim Jared Stidham and like a first and a third and see if they'll bite with George Peyton doing the negotiate and they won't.
- 57:27[SPEAKER_02]: This is not going to happen.
- 57:27[SPEAKER_02]: I've been pushing for it on Twitter as well.
- 57:29[SPEAKER_02]: It'd be a mad and level blockbuster trade, pairing JJ with court and Sutton.
- 57:34[SPEAKER_02]: There's too much dead money on the Viking side.
- 57:37[SPEAKER_02]: JJ's contract would be a prohibitive factor in all this.
- 57:40[SPEAKER_02]: I'd love to see him here, but regardless, the Brock was
- 57:49[SPEAKER_03]: Man, how cool would it be to see Wilson catching passes from Bonix in the orange and blue would be awesome.
- 57:56[SPEAKER_03]: All right, got my high salute and a special shout out to all the great super chat super stars, supporters and dear members helping us keep these lights on.
