- 0:00Speaker 1: Hello, gorgeous, It's Lalakent. Welcome to Untraditionally Lala. Hello, my loves,
- 0:07Speaker 1: It's Lalakent.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Welcome to the bonus episode of Untraditionally Lala. I'm still
- 0:12Speaker 2: here with my sister wife, Amber Childers. Hello, gorgeous, Hey Darling,
- 0:17Speaker 2: loved our episode. Thank you so much for being my
- 0:20Speaker 2: first guest. I have questions from fans. Are you nervous?
- 0:26Speaker 1: Yeah? Little, a little? Oh no, they're really fun. They
- 0:30Speaker 1: are fun.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Okay, the bonus episode is always supposed to be fun, right, Like,
- 0:33Speaker 2: no one really cries on the bonus all fine.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Do you think you guys look alike? Oh? So many
- 0:42Speaker 1: people Amber say like we I don't. I don't think
- 0:46Speaker 1: we do.
- 0:48Speaker 2: I think when we both had blonde hair, it was like, oh,
- 0:51Speaker 2: blonde hair, light eyes, they could be twins.
- 0:55Speaker 1: But can I tell you I think Ocean looks like you. Really,
- 0:58Speaker 1: Oh my gosh.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Every time I see her, I'm like, she she is Amber,
- 1:04Speaker 2: And if I hadn't given birth to her myself, I
- 1:06Speaker 2: would be questioning the mother truly, and even so so
- 1:10Speaker 2: kind of looks like you when you hold her.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't think we look alive. You know what
- 1:15Speaker 1: Ocean looks like London. Okay, well there we go. Like
- 1:18Speaker 1: I see that as like they're spitting images when Lennon
- 1:22Speaker 1: was Ocean's age. I love that so much.
- 1:26Speaker 2: Riley's your twin, really, I think so. I break down
- 1:31Speaker 2: features though I'm a weirdo. When someone's like, you guys
- 1:33Speaker 2: look alike, I'm like, no, no, no, look at the eyebrows,
- 1:36Speaker 2: then the eyes, then the nose.
- 1:37Speaker 1: We look nothing alike. No, no, no, I don't think so either. Yeah,
- 1:41Speaker 1: why did you two very pretty ladies want to be
- 1:44Speaker 1: with or ex? What drew you to him? Do you remember?
- 1:51Speaker 1: I mean, listen, I don't want to make it about
- 1:53Speaker 1: that person, but all I will say is this, someone
- 1:57Speaker 1: that can make me laugh will always have my heart
- 2:00Speaker 1: one hundred percent. They'll just capture me. It doesn't like
- 2:02Speaker 1: I And by the way, like my biggest thing is
- 2:05Speaker 1: like the old Amber would see a red flag and
- 2:08Speaker 1: I would like paint it green. I would like get
- 2:11Speaker 1: on my paint pressure and be like, oh there's a
- 2:12Speaker 1: red flag, let's paint a green and be like okay,
- 2:13Speaker 1: let's move on, move on. And I can't do that anymore.
- 2:16Speaker 1: So for me, laughter is like the biggest thing, right.
- 2:20Speaker 2: A good time, A good time. I feel like that's
- 2:22Speaker 2: the same for me. And we spoke about this on
- 2:25Speaker 2: the regular episode, like when someone makes me laugh and
- 2:30Speaker 2: kind of takes me exactly how I am, but also
- 2:34Speaker 2: gives me that sense of safety.
- 2:38Speaker 1: That for me, I can fall very hard.
- 2:43Speaker 2: But again, where we're at in life now, I don't
- 2:46Speaker 2: know that what happened back then would happen now because
- 2:50Speaker 2: I don't really look to anybody else to kind of
- 2:53Speaker 2: give me my roots.
- 2:54Speaker 1: I laid my own roots, right, Yeah, you're an adult. No, right,
- 2:58Speaker 1: your brain has expanded. I have a frontal lobe. Now,
- 3:05Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, do you have a a type when
- 3:09Speaker 1: it comes to like physical No, you know, I was
- 3:13Speaker 1: just talking to someone about this. I think it was
- 3:15Speaker 1: my neighbor. I don't. I don't have a type because
- 3:19Speaker 1: I go through stage Like I went through a stage
- 3:22Speaker 1: where I liked even in like middle school and high school,
- 3:25Speaker 1: like I love people that were a little more chunky, okay,
- 3:28Speaker 1: and like that wasn't my like. But now I'm like, Okay,
- 3:32Speaker 1: you could be chunky, but you have to still be
- 3:34Speaker 1: like fit, right, And I think there's like totally were
- 3:37Speaker 1: you like a dad bod or you into a dad.
- 3:39Speaker 1: I like a dad bod too much. I don't No,
- 3:44Speaker 1: I don't like that. I don't like that at all.
- 3:46Speaker 1: I want someone that's just normal and they have like
- 3:49Speaker 1: extra fat on them, like even better, like I want
- 3:51Speaker 1: to bear you know what.
- 3:53Speaker 2: I feel the same way though, because and even when
- 3:56Speaker 2: it comes to my dogs, I always choot, like my
- 3:58Speaker 2: dog Pablo, he's a pitbull. And I always am drawn
- 4:01Speaker 2: to things that are just a little I have a
- 4:02Speaker 2: little bit more.
- 4:04Speaker 1: Cushion for the pushing. Yeah, yeah, yeah always Yeah. Have
- 4:08Speaker 1: you ever you've never hooked up with a chick? Right? No,
- 4:12Speaker 1: that's so funny. You asked me that because I was
- 4:13Speaker 1: thinking about that last night. All right, I can finger
- 4:17Speaker 1: bang you later. I'm just kidding now, because I was
- 4:21Speaker 1: thinking conversation tell your boyfriend. I was thinking about the conversation.
- 4:26Speaker 1: We're talking about Hunting Wives, and you look fucking hot
- 4:29Speaker 1: last night. I was like, holy shit, and I was
- 4:31Speaker 1: like amber like when I saw you in appreciation, but
- 4:35Speaker 1: when I saw you, I was like, you looked like
- 4:38Speaker 1: smoking hot, like probably the hottest I've ever seen you look.
- 4:40Speaker 1: And I was like, and then I went to Hunting
- 4:42Speaker 1: Wives because I've been watching that and I'm like, oh
- 4:44Speaker 1: my god, are you like having a lesbian moment with
- 4:46Speaker 1: your sister wife?
- 4:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I've had lesbian moments only when I've been drinking,
- 4:51Speaker 2: and but.
- 4:51Speaker 1: No, I've never heard that. I actually have never hooked
- 4:53Speaker 1: up with another woman, like not even kissed one. No, wow, Amber, No, okay,
- 5:00Speaker 1: I'm not going to try to push anything on you.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Do you feel like sister wives in a weird way?
- 5:05Speaker 2: I say that we're sister wives? And what is this
- 5:08Speaker 2: sister wife?
- 5:08Speaker 1: Really? They share a man, so yeah, sure, yeah. Haven't
- 5:12Speaker 1: you ever seen the show Sister Wives with the Mormon guy?
- 5:14Speaker 2: And I watched it back in the day because they
- 5:16Speaker 2: lived in Utah and then they had to like pick
- 5:18Speaker 2: up and move somewhere else because I think Utah kicked
- 5:21Speaker 2: them out or something something like that. But yeah, I
- 5:24Speaker 2: think we quite literally could have been sister wives, like
- 5:30Speaker 2: had we been down for the cause, I'm open. I
- 5:33Speaker 2: would be down to be your sister wife. If you
- 5:35Speaker 2: do the heavy lifting we like what like physical No,
- 5:38Speaker 2: but like the blow jobs and all that stuff.
- 5:40Speaker 1: I hate that hurts my jaws. You pay for my
- 5:45Speaker 1: team Jake chiropractor appointment. We'll just give you a little botox,
- 5:48Speaker 1: you won't even know what's happening.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Okay, do you two think you have the same taste
- 5:53Speaker 2: in men besides the ex No, I don't think.
- 5:58Speaker 1: We do either. So it was just like a the
- 6:02Speaker 1: same taste. Like there's like the physical part that we
- 6:04Speaker 1: talked about, and then there's like the you know who
- 6:08Speaker 1: they are as like who they are as a person right,
- 6:10Speaker 1: their personality traits.
- 6:11Speaker 2: But I think physically, like I've seen most of the
- 6:15Speaker 2: men that you've like dated, it's very much so different,
- 6:20Speaker 2: Whereas I feel like my taste is more in one direction.
- 6:26Speaker 1: So you're like this right, and I'm like totally like this, yes.
- 6:32Speaker 2: So I don't know how certain things because even when
- 6:34Speaker 2: I was when I was a drinker drinker, I would
- 6:37Speaker 2: wake up next to dudes in my bed and be
- 6:39Speaker 2: like how did this happen?
- 6:42Speaker 1: But they were still in my in my type of man.
- 6:44Speaker 2: But it was like they just looked a little better
- 6:47Speaker 2: after like twelve Adkisotas, I think everyone looks better.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Yeah, same. I'm like, you don't like me now, but
- 6:55Speaker 1: if twelve Vodkas Sota, I don't know about that bab
- 6:59Speaker 1: one celebri already you'd totally fan girl over. Ooh, this
- 7:04Speaker 1: one's gonna be good for you because you've been in
- 7:07Speaker 1: a lot of stuff with like major stars. Julia Roberts.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Oh yeah, i'd fan girl too, Anne Hathaway, Okay, I
- 7:17Speaker 2: love all of.
- 7:18Speaker 1: These Amy Adams. I mean they're all so different, right,
- 7:22Speaker 1: They're all I like fan like I geek out on
- 7:24Speaker 1: you would geek out? Do you think if you were
- 7:26Speaker 1: to be on a show or like cast.
- 7:28Speaker 2: In a movie with one of them, you would be
- 7:30Speaker 2: able to like do your job or would you be
- 7:31Speaker 2: so fucking nervous?
- 7:32Speaker 1: I know you'd be able to do your job, but
- 7:34Speaker 1: you know what I mean. Yeah, I worked with Amy
- 7:36Speaker 1: on The Master, the Popham and Sanderson film that I did,
- 7:38Speaker 1: So she was my stepmom in that movie and that
- 7:41Speaker 1: was really great. And she's just so's She's just an
- 7:46Speaker 1: amazing human actor, like all around fantastic. Would I geek out? No,
- 7:53Speaker 1: It's funny. I probably wouldn't. Okay, I'm so and I'm
- 7:57Speaker 1: like fangirling not. You know what, I'll say, this fangirl
- 8:00Speaker 1: moment for me would probably be Halsey or Jesse Jesse Murph.
- 8:06Speaker 1: So I think it's someone that's not in my business,
- 8:07Speaker 1: like I'm obsessed with Jesse Murph. I'm obsessed with Halsey, Like,
- 8:11Speaker 1: those are my those are my girls.
- 8:14Speaker 2: So I saw Jesse Murph perform at Stagecoach, I like
- 8:19Speaker 2: this little event and then they shut down the Crocs area.
- 8:24Speaker 2: They're like, hey, you're gonna go there and shop with
- 8:27Speaker 2: Jesse Murph. I was like, shop for Crocs with Jesse Murph.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Wow, never thought i'd see the day. No, she's her voices, insane, insane.
- 8:40Speaker 1: I'm obsessed.
- 8:41Speaker 2: I'm obsessed to She's so freaking cool. My fangirl moment
- 8:46Speaker 2: would be what this actually did happen. Larry David was
- 8:51Speaker 2: at Craigs and he was at the booth next to
- 8:53Speaker 2: me and I do not fangirl over anybody, and I
- 8:57Speaker 2: my legs went numb.
- 9:01Speaker 1: This is so random, you guys, Larry fucking David.
- 9:05Speaker 2: And everyone's like, so, I'm like Seinfeld career enthusiasm.
- 9:10Speaker 1: They're like, yeah, I'm like, what the fuck does? He
- 9:13Speaker 1: just does it for you? He does it for he
- 9:17Speaker 1: is brilliant. He's brilliant.
- 9:19Speaker 2: I find him to be like I look at him
- 9:22Speaker 2: and go your career and the amount of funny shit
- 9:28Speaker 2: that you create is.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Just it and it's laughter. See goes back to laughter
- 9:32Speaker 1: last year is everything.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Larry David would be the only man who would not
- 9:36Speaker 2: be in He would.
- 9:37Speaker 1: I would expand for Larry David, Larry, you have a chance. Yeah.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Also is it Jason Alexander who plays George Costanza on Seinfeld?
- 9:48Speaker 2: He played poker with someone I know and they were like,
- 9:52Speaker 2: do you want to come and meet him? And I
- 9:55Speaker 2: was like no, And here's why, because I'm a massive
- 9:57Speaker 2: fan Seinfeld obviously, and if he isn't exactly the way
- 10:02Speaker 2: George Costanza is, I'll never be able to watch the
- 10:05Speaker 2: show again.
- 10:06Speaker 1: So I had boarded mission. I was like, have a
- 10:08Speaker 1: great time. He's like with Jason, I'm like with George,
- 10:12Speaker 1: that's such a great story. What's your favorite scene you've ever.
- 10:27Speaker 2: Filmed in you oh, or do you have a favorite
- 10:32Speaker 2: Do you have a favorite scene that you've filmed in
- 10:35Speaker 2: any of the films or movies that you've done where
- 10:37Speaker 2: you look back and you're like that was like a
- 10:39Speaker 2: I know, I fucking killed it. I had a wonderful
- 10:41Speaker 2: time and that will forever be a core memory.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. I mean I go always like straight
- 10:47Speaker 1: back to the master. That was like one of the
- 10:53Speaker 1: best summers of my life. I got a you know,
- 10:56Speaker 1: Amy Adams, Joquin Phoenix, Philip Seymerhoffen played my My, How
- 11:00Speaker 1: old were you? Jesse Pelms, Robbie Melick, Julian Bell Uh,
- 11:04Speaker 1: that's like it was Amber Childers and then me. I
- 11:09Speaker 1: love it. But every every scene was just like I
- 11:13Speaker 1: like pinching myself, like I'm I would find myself in
- 11:17Speaker 1: the moment watching them act and trying to learn from
- 11:21Speaker 1: like the masters like these to me, every single person
- 11:24Speaker 1: on that set, even like Paul in the way he's directing,
- 11:28Speaker 1: in the cinematographer, everyone, it was just like, oh my god,
- 11:34Speaker 1: what am I? I Like, what am I doing here?
- 11:36Speaker 1: This is like crazy? So yeah, how old were you
- 11:39Speaker 1: when you did that? Your Momber twenty twelve, London was
- 11:44Speaker 1: like six months old. Wow, that's a lot of pressure. No,
- 11:48Speaker 1: London was two.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Yeah, but yeah, yeah, yeah, that is a lot of pressure.
- 11:53Speaker 2: Candace or Susan Adkins? Who was more fun to portray?
- 11:56Speaker 1: Oh, I would say Candace. Why Susan was hard? Susan
- 12:02Speaker 1: was hard. Susan you know, was one of the Manson
- 12:07Speaker 1: girls who murdered Sharon Tate. That was a really heavy
- 12:10Speaker 1: role for me to play that was a really hard
- 12:12Speaker 1: thing for me to Like some scenes that we had
- 12:14Speaker 1: a film that was really hard for me to to
- 12:17Speaker 1: to show up and because it was real and it happened,
- 12:22Speaker 1: and it was like there was always like this eerie
- 12:25Speaker 1: I don't know if you believe in this stuff, but
- 12:27Speaker 1: there was like all this like weird, eerie feeling, like
- 12:29Speaker 1: almost like like energy like all these women that you
- 12:35Speaker 1: know that have passed that were a part of that.
- 12:38Speaker 1: I don't know, I just I think some of the
- 12:39Speaker 1: some of the energy during some of the scenes were
- 12:41Speaker 1: like we had to, you know, reenact the murder of Sharon.
- 12:45Speaker 1: It was just like, dude, like there's some creepy shit
- 12:48Speaker 1: on this. It's because she was there. Okay, I thank
- 12:50Speaker 1: you. You said it so you would do you? You would
- 12:52Speaker 1: do can?
- 12:53Speaker 2: Yeah you yeah, Cans was amazing. You gotta slam in bod.
- 12:57Speaker 2: You already know this. I've always looked at your abs
- 12:59Speaker 2: and been like, how does it happened? What is your
- 13:02Speaker 2: one tip to getting fit? Diet exercise. You're a pilates person, right.
- 13:09Speaker 1: I'm a big plois although I haven't been doing plate
- 13:12Speaker 1: since I moved to Montana, So what I'm all about
- 13:15Speaker 1: is getting at least ten thousand steps in a day.
- 13:17Speaker 1: That's where you would say to start. I would start there,
- 13:20Speaker 1: just moving your body, even if you don't change your
- 13:24Speaker 1: diet at all, because diet is the hardest thing to change. Well,
- 13:26Speaker 1: you can't outwork a bad diet. Yeah, I know, it's
- 13:30Speaker 1: like really freaking hard. So I would say like ten
- 13:33Speaker 1: thousand steps and then tried to do intermittent fasting. That
- 13:37Speaker 1: intermittent fasting also changed my life. Okay, I love this.
- 13:41Speaker 1: I tell people if you want to start working out,
- 13:44Speaker 1: you should get yourself a shake weight on Amazon. Oh
- 13:47Speaker 1: shake weight? Do you know what that is?
- 13:48Speaker 2: No?
- 13:49Speaker 1: But sounds amazing. You go like this, Oh, I swear
- 13:53Speaker 1: to god it. I got them as jokes.
- 13:56Speaker 2: They were on an infomercial back when I was in
- 13:59Speaker 2: high school, and I was like, oh my god, I'm
- 14:00Speaker 2: getting my family the male version and the.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Woman's version as a joke. We all started using them.
- 14:06Speaker 1: My dad would sit on the foot of his bed
- 14:08Speaker 1: watching the ten o'clock news. So they have those massive
- 14:14Speaker 1: plates at the gym, so yeah, yeah, it's like that
- 14:16Speaker 1: that vibrate Oh yeah, yeah yeah. Yeah, it's like you
- 14:19Speaker 1: step on it and it vibrates, and you supposed to
- 14:20Speaker 1: do squats on it, and you're supposed to do like
- 14:22Speaker 1: push ups, and you're like, it's supposed to be I've
- 14:24Speaker 1: never done it. But so I'm gonna have to go
- 14:26Speaker 1: get a shake.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Shake shake weight, shake weight that you shake and it
- 14:31Speaker 2: is phenomenal, and then just get yourself some bands. I
- 14:33Speaker 2: just start there and you will get inspired.
- 14:35Speaker 1: And a chocolate shake shake shake. By the way, bitch,
- 14:38Speaker 1: if you do that one handed, you've got stamina. Fuck
- 14:45Speaker 1: two things at once.
- 14:46Speaker 2: No wonder you have somebody boyfriends. Would you ever date
- 14:51Speaker 2: someone in Hollywood again? You kind of are right now, right? Yeah,
- 14:56Speaker 2: I am. I've dated one act Noga. Would you date
- 15:01Speaker 2: an actor again?
- 15:06Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't want to say no, like
- 15:07Speaker 1: if it was meant for me and like I feel
- 15:10Speaker 1: like my higher power was like this person is here
- 15:13Speaker 1: to like, you know, have a fun night with you
- 15:16Speaker 1: or have a relationship who I don't know, I don't
- 15:18Speaker 1: I'm open. Is that what sing? It's very awesome. I'm
- 15:22Speaker 1: don't be proud of you, but I am dating someone
- 15:24Speaker 1: in the business. And let me tell you something I
- 15:26Speaker 1: really appreciate and see the value of. Because you have
- 15:30Speaker 1: to understand. As an artist, we just think, move operate differently,
- 15:34Speaker 1: and it takes a very special person to understand how
- 15:37Speaker 1: an actor's brain works. And you can be the most
- 15:40Speaker 1: normal actor, but you're still an actor.
- 15:42Speaker 2: No anyone in When someone tells me I'm an entertainment,
- 15:45Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, so you're insane like me.
- 15:47Speaker 1: We're all insane. It's not normal. Yeah right, yeah, yeah,
- 15:51Speaker 1: let me tell you we have the most Give me
- 15:53Speaker 1: the fucking plumber. You want, rummer, I want the plumber.
- 15:57Speaker 1: I want the mechanic. I want the person coming in
- 15:59Speaker 1: and you're like, we're gonna rip off all of this
- 16:02Speaker 1: and put stucco on your house. I'm like, that's fucking hot.
- 16:04Speaker 1: That's hot. You're a real fucking man. Yes, yeah, yes,
- 16:08Speaker 1: And by the way, AI will never take a plumber's job.
- 16:11Speaker 1: I am obsessed. Oh my god.
- 16:14Speaker 2: Two plumbers came to my house in Palm Springs and
- 16:17Speaker 2: I was like, you're just fucking horny, that's what it is.
- 16:20Speaker 2: One of them.
- 16:22Speaker 1: I was like, damn it. I was like, Mom, the
- 16:23Speaker 1: plumber has a ring on. She's like so. I was like,
- 16:25Speaker 1: I was gonna get his number. She was like, you're
- 16:29Speaker 1: I'm fully insane gets that shake thing, the shake weight. Yeah,
- 16:33Speaker 1: I get the shakewaight to distract you, shake weight while
- 16:35Speaker 1: I vibrate. Love it. If someone played you in a movie,
- 16:38Speaker 1: who would you cast? I love this question for you.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, I mean Julius Stiles. It looks wise,
- 16:48Speaker 1: looks wise. I think she would be because I played
- 16:51Speaker 1: her when she was younger. So I love Kristen Bell.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Christon Bell is great. She would play a great you. Yeah,
- 16:58Speaker 1: I don't know who I would pick. I don't know
- 17:00Speaker 1: who could embody the weirdness of me. Maybe like a
- 17:04Speaker 1: little Emma Roberts situation, because I think she can conquer,
- 17:07Speaker 1: like the craziness, but also like a girl who just
- 17:12Speaker 1: sobs all the time. I think she'd be good at that.
- 17:15Speaker 1: That's actually yeah, I say that's a good one.
- 17:18Speaker 2: Have you ever slid into someone's DM first?
- 17:21Speaker 1: No? Wow, I stay the aggressor. I'm like, no one's safe.
- 17:26Speaker 1: I come across your patient because I'm just not good
- 17:30Speaker 1: at text. I would rather be like, I don't. I
- 17:32Speaker 1: don't like, how do you slide into someone's dam? Did
- 17:36Speaker 1: you say like, yo, what's up?
- 17:37Speaker 3: No?
- 17:37Speaker 2: I sent him a chef's kiss emoji? And if they
- 17:39Speaker 2: don't know what it means. Then I know that they
- 17:41Speaker 2: gotta go, how do you fucking not know?
- 17:43Speaker 1: What does that mean? It means? I like me, like
- 17:46Speaker 1: you what I see? So? Hi? My god? I didn't
- 17:50Speaker 1: know this.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Yeah, there's only been one guy who's been like, hey,
- 17:55Speaker 2: la la, paha, what does this mean? And I was like,
- 17:58Speaker 2: you're not even getting a respond because now I've got
- 18:01Speaker 2: to explain what an emoji means.
- 18:02Speaker 1: No, wait, did you just make this up on your owner?
- 18:05Speaker 1: It's just like a trend. No, it's not a trend.
- 18:07Speaker 1: It's me forgetting how to hit on someone. And then
- 18:10Speaker 1: I just started working and I was like, oh, this
- 18:13Speaker 1: emoji works. I'm getting a pretty great response sharing them off.
- 18:17Speaker 1: I'm sending that to my boyfriend. That is amazing. Yeah,
- 18:23Speaker 1: I thoroughly enjoy a good emoji. I'm thirty five, Why
- 18:27Speaker 1: so do I? Yeah? I love it. It's because we're getting old. Sorry.
- 18:32Speaker 1: Have you seen an episode of Vanner Pumperwolfs? Like half ish?
- 18:37Speaker 1: And then I turned it off? That's rude. I know,
- 18:40Speaker 1: I'm rude. How dare you do you remember? Which? Why
- 18:45Speaker 1: did you turn it off? Because someone told me I
- 18:49Speaker 1: needed to watch it? This was like way back in
- 18:51Speaker 1: the day. Why would anyone tell you to do that
- 18:54Speaker 1: because they didn't like me, like clearly, no, no, no,
- 18:57Speaker 1: I know they didn't like me and they wanted you
- 18:58Speaker 1: to think better. But I still think it's rude. I
- 19:01Speaker 1: think they should have spared me the you know what,
- 19:04Speaker 1: I was like hearing and like digesting. I was just
- 19:06Speaker 1: like and then I was like, I can't. I like
- 19:10Speaker 1: everything had already come out, and so there's like a
- 19:11Speaker 1: quirk in my throat. I literally just you talking about
- 19:15Speaker 1: it and going back. It's so funny because once I
- 19:18Speaker 1: understood what a trigger was, which is a situation that
- 19:21Speaker 1: happens that reminds you of a situation you've already been in.
- 19:24Speaker 1: But the moment someone brings even that time back up,
- 19:28Speaker 1: I immediately go back to that place, and it is
- 19:31Speaker 1: like taking a bullet because I don't recognize that person
- 19:36Speaker 1: at all.
- 19:37Speaker 2: Anyway, I would have turned it off too. If you
- 19:39Speaker 2: weren't an actress. What would you be doing?
- 19:42Speaker 1: Oh? I love that question. That's a great question. Delivering
- 19:46Speaker 1: babies or holding babies? I love babies. Oh that's what
- 19:49Speaker 1: you would want to do? Yeah, I love I would
- 19:51Speaker 1: like maybe do like we're gonna nick you for like
- 19:54Speaker 1: really sick babies that like needed, you know, they take
- 19:57Speaker 1: so much time and care and effort and like a
- 19:59Speaker 1: lot of time. Tis like when your child is in
- 20:01Speaker 1: the nick for a long extended period of time and
- 20:05Speaker 1: they have to go to work. They have to go
- 20:06Speaker 1: back to work, right, Like they need like volunteers to
- 20:10Speaker 1: come in and hold the babies and feed them.
- 20:12Speaker 2: I didn't know that about you. That's what you would
- 20:15Speaker 2: want to be, really, Yeah, I just learned something new.
- 20:18Speaker 2: I'd want to be a murder investigator and I would.
- 20:21Speaker 1: Prosecute to the highest extent of the laws. So would
- 20:25Speaker 1: that be an investigator or a prosecutor? I don't know both.
- 20:29Speaker 1: I wear many hats in my If I could be
- 20:32Speaker 1: a criminal attorney, I would thrive.
- 20:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 20:46Speaker 1: What's your favorite thing to do in Montana? Hike? I
- 20:51Speaker 1: love hiking.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a good one. It's so peace run in
- 20:55Speaker 2: canyon out there, it's a real hike.
- 20:58Speaker 1: It's like a real hike. I actually boots, Like actually
- 21:01Speaker 1: I got ray boots and I got some bear spray.
- 21:03Speaker 1: After everyone was like, it's like a certain mountain range
- 21:07Speaker 1: there's like a lot of grizzlies and I was going
- 21:09Speaker 1: up to that particular range and hiking. So I went
- 21:11Speaker 1: and got bare spray and I was like up six
- 21:14Speaker 1: miles and I decided that I should probably like know
- 21:17Speaker 1: how to use it. I went to take the clip
- 21:19Speaker 1: off of it, and as I sprayed it out that way,
- 21:22Speaker 1: I thought it was gonna shoot like pepper spray, right, la,
- 21:24Speaker 1: we have pepper spray. Yeah. The wind came and it's
- 21:28Speaker 1: like an aerosol. It goes like this, and it all
- 21:31Speaker 1: came back. I thought I was going to die. I
- 21:33Speaker 1: had no cell phone service. I tried to call my
- 21:35Speaker 1: family because I literally couldn't. Like, I just my lungs burned,
- 21:42Speaker 1: my eyes, my nostrils, the back of my throat, and
- 21:44Speaker 1: I was like, you're a fucking idiot. And I literally
- 21:49Speaker 1: just laid down until it passed because I was like,
- 21:51Speaker 1: I might die. If I'm gonna die, I don't want
- 21:52Speaker 1: to die like running for help. I want to die
- 21:54Speaker 1: like peacefully. Does the bear spray kill a bear? It
- 21:57Speaker 1: just gets some new noise. It's an irritant. And let
- 21:59Speaker 1: me tell you something, if I was a bear and
- 22:01Speaker 1: someone sprayed that shit in my face, I would be like,
- 22:03Speaker 1: oh yeah, bring it on, bitch, let's go like I
- 22:05Speaker 1: would be it would yes, Oh wow, it is awful.
- 22:10Speaker 1: It is so awful, and I literally bear sprayed. Why
- 22:13Speaker 1: was the point of you spraying? It was no bear
- 22:15Speaker 1: inside because I wanted to see how it worked. God
- 22:18Speaker 1: forbid you like a bear. And when the when there's
- 22:21Speaker 1: like mom, there's cubs involved, babies, that's when they get
- 22:24Speaker 1: really aggressive. So I was like, okay, you should know
- 22:29Speaker 1: how to handle like I just like would practice. I
- 22:33Speaker 1: can picture you hiking, practicing and then shooting basically, so
- 22:40Speaker 1: so yeah, that happened, but now I know how to
- 22:41Speaker 1: use it. I love it and I love hiking. It
- 22:43Speaker 1: didn't take away my love for hiking. Being in nature.
- 22:46Speaker 1: There's something if you hike, you understand if you don't
- 22:49Speaker 1: go get yourself some hiking boots. Go in the wilderness.
- 22:53Speaker 1: It's so peaceful. You can hear your thought like, yeah,
- 22:57Speaker 1: it's a piece that I can't I can't put into words.
- 23:00Speaker 1: Do you think you'll stay in Montana? Like? Are you
- 23:03Speaker 1: liking it enough?
- 23:04Speaker 2: I know you're still brand new there and it's like
- 23:07Speaker 2: you want to do just a year and see where
- 23:09Speaker 2: you are, but like, are you loving it or are
- 23:12Speaker 2: you still kind of trying to figure it out.
- 23:14Speaker 1: I'm figuring it out. I want to go through winter.
- 23:17Speaker 1: Winter's very harsh. It's not in La. I've been in
- 23:20Speaker 1: La sixteen years, and so you know, there's winter is
- 23:24Speaker 1: supposed to be. It's it's not a wet winter. It's
- 23:27Speaker 1: a try winter. And so it's and there's sun so
- 23:32Speaker 1: there could be you know, a ton of snow, but
- 23:34Speaker 1: the sun is still shining. Which I need that because
- 23:36Speaker 1: I'll go straight into like anxiety depression, like I need sunlight.
- 23:42Speaker 1: But I just said I'm gonna give it a year.
- 23:44Speaker 1: And after a year and I don't like it, and
- 23:46Speaker 1: I turned to the kids and we decided to go
- 23:47Speaker 1: somewhere else. Guess what, I know how to move back up,
- 23:50Speaker 1: let's go.
- 23:52Speaker 2: That gives me so much anxiety. See, I'm a planter.
- 23:56Speaker 2: I'm like, we're here, we're not moving. I don't even
- 23:58Speaker 2: really like traveling mm because it gives me so much
- 24:03Speaker 2: anxiety to think about packing up my stuff and taking
- 24:08Speaker 2: it somewhere else.
- 24:09Speaker 1: We got to work on that because you're missing out
- 24:11Speaker 1: on a lot, I know. And as the kids get older,
- 24:13Speaker 1: you need to like give them that life experience. I
- 24:15Speaker 1: think so too. No, I believe even if it's like
- 24:16Speaker 1: Yellowstone or like Yosemite or you know whatever it is. Well,
- 24:19Speaker 1: baby steps.
- 24:20Speaker 2: Yeah, would you guys ever consider working together? We've thought
- 24:24Speaker 2: we've talked so much about this and it's like always
- 24:26Speaker 2: been I feel timing m h. But I feel like
- 24:31Speaker 2: we have something in the works where the ball is
- 24:34Speaker 2: finally rolling and I'm really excited about it, are you?
- 24:37Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm like trying to give it a little not
- 24:38Speaker 1: too much. Yeah, No, I'm excited, and I think everybody
- 24:41Speaker 1: else has been waiting for this to happen. Yeah, And
- 24:46Speaker 1: it's like we have this and then we have something
- 24:48Speaker 1: else that's like the cherry on top or right where
- 24:52Speaker 1: you'll may or may not see more of us together.
- 24:56Speaker 2: I like the idea of people seeing us because, like
- 24:59Speaker 2: we about on the regular episode, like it's more common.
- 25:05Speaker 2: I don't want to say it's very common, but it's
- 25:06Speaker 2: more common to see, you know, couples who split and
- 25:11Speaker 2: then they have new partners and then like those people
- 25:15Speaker 2: get along. It's very uncommon to have what is our
- 25:21Speaker 2: I mean, this dynamic.
- 25:24Speaker 1: Yeah, and there's a lot that that hopefully we could inspire,
- 25:31Speaker 1: help heal, like change, you know. I think that's really important,
- 25:34Speaker 1: Like I feel that's that's part of my my calling.
- 25:39Speaker 2: I love.
- 25:41Speaker 1: Yeah, it's very untraditional what we have going on. Oh,
- 25:43Speaker 1: untraditionally La La, very untraditional what we have going on,
- 25:48Speaker 1: And I love that we have found a way to
- 25:50Speaker 1: make it just work for us. Yeah, it's easy, and
- 25:55Speaker 1: our kids like, if it wasn't easy, we wouldn't do it.
- 25:59Speaker 1: I agree with right. I think that's like a if
- 26:01Speaker 1: it was like there's like a person if there was
- 26:03Speaker 1: a personality clash, I like, why waste time? Right? Yeah,
- 26:09Speaker 1: but when we got together, boo, I fail hard. But
- 26:14Speaker 1: I sound like I'm from Montana. Now you know what,
- 26:16Speaker 1: there's more less cowboys, more hipsters. Oh no, I thought
- 26:21Speaker 1: it was just Nashville bringing it to Montana. Now I'm scar.
- 26:25Speaker 1: You can't get out of it. Get out of it,
- 26:28Speaker 1: you guys.
- 26:28Speaker 2: Thank you for listening to Bonus the bonus episode, the
- 26:32Speaker 2: first bonus episode of Untraditionally La La. I will catch
- 26:35Speaker 2: you guys on Wednesday for a regular episode and again
- 26:37Speaker 2: on Monday.
- 26:38Speaker 1: Bye.
