Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: I have a pillow problem. Pillow problem, so I have
- 0:06Speaker 1: become dependent on a certain number and type of pillow.
- 0:11Speaker 2: As am I.
- 0:13Speaker 1: It's getting worse though, really, yeah, I need three. So
- 0:19Speaker 1: traditionally I have been three, one for the head, one
- 0:24Speaker 1: between the knees.
- 0:25Speaker 2: And one to hold on. Yeah yeah, well.
- 0:31Speaker 1: Two things. The type of pillow has changed type. I've
- 0:36Speaker 1: decided that a king size pillow for between the knees
- 0:40Speaker 1: is ideal. Oh really, that's too much for me because
- 0:43Speaker 1: and the reason so my with my broken foot that way,
- 0:47Speaker 1: my whole leg is supported on the footsnod is dangling
- 0:50Speaker 1: down at the you know, it's supported the whole way.
- 0:53Speaker 1: So I've had to get a king size pillow for that. Okay,
- 0:58Speaker 1: But me and Amy Pole or both have this frozen
- 1:02Speaker 1: shoulder thing going on where you can't put your arm.
- 1:06Speaker 2: You know.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Typically I sleep with my hand like under my pillow
- 1:10Speaker 1: like that, but I can't put my arm all the
- 1:13Speaker 1: way back. So I now have to have one pillow
- 1:18Speaker 1: arm on top of that pillow, then another pillow on
- 1:22Speaker 1: top of that. I've had to add.
- 1:23Speaker 2: A pillow to mine. Complicated, Yes, that is complicated.
- 1:28Speaker 1: And if my husband's out of town, I need a
- 1:32Speaker 1: fifth pillow behind my back, because if he's home, then
- 1:36Speaker 1: that's him, that's there. But if he's not home, I
- 1:39Speaker 1: need five pillows. It's gotten out of hand.
- 1:44Speaker 2: I throw all mine on the floor.
- 1:46Speaker 1: How many pillows do you sleep with?
- 1:48Speaker 2: Two? But I throw them on the floor. What do
- 1:49Speaker 2: you mean you throw By the time I wake.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Up there there you have no pillows.
- 1:53Speaker 2: No, they're on the floor. It's I was out of
- 1:58Speaker 2: the room. What brought this up? Just a pillow problem.
- 2:01Speaker 1: I just I've developed a pillow. The number of pillows
- 2:06Speaker 1: that I need is concerning, okay, because part of the
- 2:11Speaker 1: problem is when you travel. You know, I'm not taking
- 2:15Speaker 1: five pillows with me when I travel, know.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Oh you do what? I get some inflatable ones.
- 2:23Speaker 1: When you get there.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm looking at the frozen shoulder thing.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Amy Poehler was posting about it yesterday.
- 2:30Speaker 2: What frozen build up of scar tissue restricts movement inside
- 2:36Speaker 2: the joint, resulting in pain and severely limiting motion.
- 2:40Speaker 1: So I'm going to the doc. Here's where I am, folks.
- 2:43Speaker 1: Five pillows went to the doctor yesterday from my broken foot,
- 2:47Speaker 1: going today for my shoulder. This is where I am.
- 2:50Speaker 2: This is your life.
- 2:51Speaker 1: This is my life.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, it's at least one doctor appointment a week
- 2:56Speaker 2: and a handful of pills every morning and a and
- 3:00Speaker 2: full of pills every night. Well, and that's the other thing.
- 3:03Speaker 1: I have an ibuprofen problem that I know I need
- 3:06Speaker 1: to kick what people.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Are not addicted to ibuprofen.
- 3:12Speaker 1: I take it every day though, And that's I mean,
- 3:14Speaker 1: doctor Cobble will be here tomorrow.
- 3:16Speaker 2: I need to ask him about that.
- 3:17Speaker 1: But like to go to bed five pillows and eight
- 3:22Speaker 1: hundred milligrams of ibuprofen.
- 3:24Speaker 2: That's big time. Here's here's here's what you need to do.
- 3:28Speaker 2: You need to meditation, harness the power of your mond. Oh,
- 3:34Speaker 2: never mind, never mind, No, no, you can't do that now.
- 3:40Speaker 2: I don't.
- 3:41Speaker 1: I don't like being this precious.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Well, it's only going to get worse, it won't get better.
- 3:46Speaker 2: I want to be hearty, you want to be robust.
- 3:49Speaker 2: I'm feeling pretty good about myself. Thanks Gina Carrie. For
- 3:55Speaker 2: a number of years now, you have taken special care
- 3:58Speaker 2: of yourself. And see, I know what I mean.
- 4:02Speaker 1: I have not, and it's coming. I should I should have.
- 4:07Speaker 2: I never yeah, I never have.
- 4:08Speaker 1: I could have headed this off at the bast a
- 4:10Speaker 1: long
- 4:11Speaker 2: Time, I never have, and you're just gonna end up
- 4:13Speaker 2: being a broken down old nag.
