  Then everything changed when the shops

  popularity threatened its existence.

  All Mister Okaron, the shops owner and tea

  master, could do was to recruit four teenage
• 0:21
  orphans to learn his trade and staff his
• 0:24
  shop. A year has passed since the orphans were
• 0:27
  hired, and although their skills have progressed, they
• 0:30
  still have a lot to learn before they can brew anything.
• 0:33
  But I believe that they have the potential to make the
• 0:35
  blissful brew the greatest tea shop in the
• 0:38
  world. Last time

  on benders and brews, an avatar Legends
• 0:43
  podcast. This strange spirit
• 0:46
  beast that took the form of a, sort, of giant bat like
• 0:49
  creature and seems to have been basically sucking the
• 0:52
  souls out of the various animals and
• 0:54
  beasts and releasing them with sort of like this
• 0:57
  possessed evil spirit nature.
• 0:59
  Cameron: Shouldn't just one of us just go sneak over and
• 1:02
  grab whatever letters on that dead guy?
• 1:04
  Mikayla: I'll just do it.
• 1:05
  Dave: Stone scattershot.
• 1:08
  Skylar: Whoa.
• 1:08
  Dave: It's going to attack the base of this
• 1:11
  stalagmite, and he's gonna smash
• 1:14
  it.
• 1:14
  Skylar: Nice.

  Dave: So that'll tip overdose.
• 1:17
  Skylar: The bat is then going to do two strike
• 1:20
  attacks. One probably is going to go for
• 1:23
  Guo Han. It's going to take a second strike
• 1:26
  attack towards Mika.

  Cameron: Bill blocks him. Guys, you got to get out of here. I'll
• 1:30
  block the exit. Just, I got this.
• 1:32
  Dave: And I, Earth bend up like a wall.
• 1:34
  Cameron: I will be seizing a position. I be skedaddling.
• 1:37
  Skylar: So you turn around, you slam your fist
• 1:40
  confidently right into this giant chunk of
• 1:42
  stalagmite.
• 1:43
  Cameron: And as Bill starts
• 1:46
  swinging at, it, he kind of like, starts stepping forward and he's just
• 1:49
  like, becoming more like, aggressive, right? And he's just
• 1:52
  like, yelling like, you can't have. Ah,
• 1:55
  my friends.
• 1:57
  Dave: Guys, it's time to go. And I'm gonna run
• 2:00
  out the hole that Brock made.
• 2:01
  Cameron: Mika, we got to go
• 2:04
  now. I can't lose you too.

  Skylar: The bat is going to do
• 2:10
  a bolster or hinder. It is going
• 2:12
  to fly down one by one,
• 2:15
  grab one of the animals,
• 2:17
  and you just see that same glow
• 2:20
  come out as this blue force goes back into the
• 2:23
  bat and it just collapses and that animal is dead.
• 2:25
  It's siphoning the sort of
• 2:28
  possessive spirit that it has put in to regain it
• 2:31
  into itself.
• 2:31
  Cameron: I'll have to advance an attack.
• 2:33
  Cameron: Bill's gonna see Brock starting to go forward, and he's
• 2:36
  going to stick his bo staff in front of him
• 2:39
  and he's going to say, brock, get out of here.

  Cameron: I'll grab Mika and get out of here.
• 2:43
  Cameron: And you guys hear basically this echoey sound as
• 2:46
  he yells, I'm, sorry, blaze, I
• 2:49
  couldn't defend you. Now it's my turn
• 2:52
  to defend them. And you see him raise his
• 2:55
  bo staff high above the air. And he, like, lowers it as
• 2:58
  hard as he can. And you guys hear a loud crack
• 3:02
  in this cave. And you guys see a giant
• 3:05
  burst of flame go bursting out of Bill's
• 3:08
  bo staff, engulfing
• 3:10
  this, bat light thing. And
• 3:13
  fire. You guys see just this wave of fire
• 3:16
  go rushing out in front of him.
• 3:19
  And you guys just see him just, like, heaving
• 3:22
  as he's just, like, holding the end of his bo staff. And you see a
• 3:25
  charred burn out at the end of his bo staff.
• 3:28
  And as Bill sees the bat probably
• 3:31
  go falling with the blaze, he turns around and looks at you guys
• 3:34
  and faints.
• 3:41
  Skylar: And welcome back, everybody, to

  the finale

  episode of the entire Benders and Bruise

  series. Not just season three, but the

  whole series. That's right. Tonight

  it comes to an end. Episode

  Skylar: And regulations are a lot softer.

  You know, with her, like, tracking skills and things that she developed, I

  Cameron: That's me. I am Brock Lee the earthbender.

  And Brock's, fun fact is something

  I just learned about five minutes ago that I totally

  forgot. at the end of season one, I

  believe we all added new movie or

  attributes, and I completely forgot about the one that I

  added. So, you know, better late than never.

  everything, which essentially boils down to if I use

  dirty tactics in a fight, I

  innocent, is in danger.

  Cameron: When you choose to use dirty tactics at the

  start of the combat exchange, instead of using one of the standard

  approaches, say what you do and take up ten plus

  instead of rolling. Instead of rolling. And then I

  take the stands move a favor. So I could have been fighting dirty literally

  this entire series. Sure. And have been

  just getting hit after hit after hit.

  So I'm just gonna let you know, Brock's gonna

  Skylar: Now, to be fair, to be fair, it does have a downside

  to it. You, they get to move your

  Skylar: And so that's it. Like, you use that move twice and then what?

  That's gonna put you at the edge, right?

  distinct things about Bill's character description

  because he has a giant burn mark on his entire

  leg that goes, his legs are even more

  destroyed than his upper body, which, as we saw in a past

  intro you're going to get from us. Let's jump into

  the final episode of benders and brews.

  All right, so when last we left off, you guys
• 13:49
  had just finished an m epic
• 13:52
  battle with the mysterious,
• 13:55
  villainous, evil, bat like
• 13:57
  spirit that went by the name of
• 14:00
  Banfu. I don't know if we mentioned that, but there you go.
• 14:03
  So you got that one for free. whatever the
• 14:06
  case, you guys were able to defeat it,
• 14:09
  and just barely, you guys, you know, kind of came out
• 14:12
  barely. Barely holding on. But thankfully, Bill
• 14:14
  Dore revealed his firebending
• 14:17
  abilities, and that was inevitably
• 14:20
  what finally took the villainous
• 14:22
  monster out. So you guys are currently
• 14:26
  standing just outside of this cave where
• 14:29
  you have just defeated this giant spirit
• 14:32
  monster. And as you guys are standing
• 14:34
  here, all of a sudden, you see
• 14:37
  a figure sort of hopping down the
• 14:40
  rocks, outside of this. This cave,
• 14:43
  as it gets a little bit closer, you recognize or
• 14:46
  not recognize, realize that it is a
• 14:49
  black cat like creature with crow like
• 14:52
  wings. And the closer it gets, you also realize that
• 14:55
  instead of a tail, it seems to have a
• 14:57
  snake. And one of you
• 15:00
  actually recognizes this creature.
• 15:02
  Mikayla: It's definitely me.
• 15:04
  Skylar: It's definitely not you. It's
• 15:06
  definitely Guohan.
• 15:15
  the creature. The creature
• 15:18
  hops down the last of the rocks and now stands,
• 15:21
  at the same level as the rest of you guys. And it's not,
• 15:24
  you know, it's a big cat. Like, it'd be more like
• 15:26
  a. Like a small leopard or something. But,
• 15:29
  it's just a black cat as far as you can kind of
• 15:32
  see. And it actually
• 15:34
  approaches Guo Han, and he says,
• 15:37
  interesting. I have interacted
• 15:40
  with very few living humans, but
• 15:43
  you I have had the pleasure of meeting
• 15:46
  twice. It seems you have assisted me
• 15:49
  quite a bit, little human. And for that, I am
• 15:52
  once again grateful. I fear
• 15:55
  I may not have thanked you as I should
• 15:58
  have previously, but I shall right that
• 16:01
  wrong now. You have just
• 16:03
  defeated an evil spirit that went by the
• 16:06
  name Banfu, the possessor. He
• 16:09
  escaped the spirit world many years ago, and since
• 16:12
  then has been, feeding off the life force
• 16:15
  of the creatures in this area for quite
• 16:18
  some time. But you. You have
• 16:21
  stopped this terrorization and you have
• 16:23
  righted this wrong. He
• 16:26
  pauses for a moment, and he closes his
• 16:29
  eyes as if he were in, like, a deep thought or deep
• 16:32
  meditation. Hm. I
• 16:35
  see. I see through the
• 16:38
  eyes of the dead throughout your
• 16:40
  journey. And he looks over at Micah and he
• 16:43
  says, I see the expulsion from the very
• 16:46
  village below through the eyes
• 16:49
  of that man there. And he tilts his head
• 16:52
  towards. Well, he just kind of motions towards the cave as
• 16:55
  if to reference chief, ex chief
• 16:57
  Tatonka. And I can see through the
• 17:00
  loving eyes of the mother that you lost that very
• 17:03
  same night. Then he turns to Bill and
• 17:06
  he says, I see the fear in the eyes
• 17:09
  of a sibling, but I do not
• 17:11
  sense any blame or hatred. And
• 17:14
  he looks over at Brok and he says, I see
• 17:17
  through the eyes of many who were
• 17:20
  attacked in their homes and those that
• 17:22
  fell in captivity, waiting and crying out
• 17:25
  for a hero that would break them free.
• 17:28
  And then finally, he turns to Guo, and he shows a slight
• 17:32
  grin, and he says, I can see through the eyes
• 17:34
  of my own past, one who
• 17:37
  more than earned his freedom that night that the
• 17:40
  dead walked the mortal plane again.
• 17:44
  But I do see through the eyes
• 17:46
  of one other, your dead
• 17:49
  friend. Eyes full of
• 17:52
  love and care. Eyes that foresaw
• 17:55
  a great future for all of you, but also eyes
• 17:58
  that beheld fear. Fear of what he
• 18:01
  knew others were capable of and willing to
• 18:04
  take from him. I see through the
• 18:07
  eyes of death that is to come. Although that
• 18:10
  is a gemstone with many facets, you
• 18:13
  are all headed down a path that ends in great
• 18:16
  danger. And if you wish to save your very
• 18:19
  souls and put your current trajectory
• 18:22
  towards the ending that you seek, you will
• 18:24
  need allies who will stand by your side.
• 18:28
  With that in mind, and as thanks for
• 18:30
  defeating Banfu, I will offer you all,
• 18:33
  ah, these rewards. The

  first is an opportunity to
• 18:39
  quickly arrive at the next destination on your
• 18:41
  list, the city of Gaoling.

  You will have a chance to travel through the spirit
• 18:48
  world, the place where I myself
• 18:50
  reside. Now, traveling through the spirit
• 18:53
  world is different than traveling through your
• 18:56
  realm. Think of the spirit world as a
• 18:58
  sort of shortcut. I will offer you a
• 19:01
  path through my realm that will exit on
• 19:04
  the outskirts of this city that you seek
• 19:07
  to arrive in this path will take
• 19:10
  a day to walk, although it will not feel like
• 19:13
  a day to you. But it will be far
• 19:16
  faster than anything your realm has to offer.
• 19:19
  I also give to each one of you these two
• 19:22
  stones. They are astral
• 19:25
  stones. Dreams are
• 19:28
  a form of connection that those from your
• 19:31
  world have to connect to the
• 19:34
  spirit world. And within my realm, you can use these
• 19:37
  stones to connect those dreams. Think
• 19:40
  of someone, and think hard. Within that focus,
• 19:43
  you will be able to offer a message, a, plea
• 19:46
  for help to someone living in your realm to aid
• 19:49
  you in your endeavor. It's up for them to
• 19:51
  decide if they follow your request. But if they
• 19:54
  agree, I can transport them as
• 19:57
  well to meet you at your destination.

  So think hard beforehand who you believe

  will be willing to answer your request.

  And then finally, the spirit, this spirit of

  the dead, as Guo had met before,

  he turns to Guo and he says, I hope that these gifts

  to be even, and I wish you well

  on your mission. And with that,

  he pounces into the cave that you guys just

  escaped from, into the darkness and

  disappears. And as you

  seems like it's a forest, but not so

  densely, situated that you can't see

  the end of it. There's a pathway that kind of leads through and you can see

  off in the distance just a wide open field. So you never

  feel claustrophobic as you guys are walking

  through this forest, until eventually you get to that
• 33:37
  field. And it's a, it's a nice little space there as well.

  So you continue your walk little ways in until it

  becomes just a very sparse,

  very minimally dense forest with only
• 33:49
  just like the occasional tree here and there. But it

  feels peaceful. It feels, like

  perfect temperature, you know, like in

  early seventies, maybe

  degrees. Something along those lines. the sun is

  out, the skies are blue. There's only the

  occasional just kind of wispy cloud, cloud to kind of

  breeze that kind of passes by and causes
