  fan, now, Dan, what is inspiring you from the world of Surviva?

  Okay, so I didn't have family on Survivor is amazing, and I'm

  also a little like confused. You said you've watched two episodes of the show.

  You didn't even watch your aunt's season. Yeah, yeah, for two

  episodes? Was for two episodes? Yea? I watched those two episodes with

  Jason. All right, fair enough, I do have a cousin though,

  and she is, she's a massive fan. She's been watching since, you
• 22:37
  know, since the beginning twenty three friggain years ago, and she has tried
• 22:42
  out for the show a couple of times. Uh she's never gotten through.

  But in the last like I don't know, probably ten years or so,

  a big thing has started happening where people are just doing them in like different
• 22:57
  local areas just for fun, okay, And so in the state of Maine

  there's there's actually been a couple of different ones there, but she was on

  one called Surviving Maine. It's like a four day version, you know,

  it's like kind of yeah, but yeah, it's very cool, and she
• 23:15
  finished like fourth out of twenty, which was pretty solid. They recorded it
• 23:19
  all, they edited it, they posted it to YouTube, and they did
• 23:22
  like the thing on YouTube where you can like release like uh, you know,
• 23:26
  like on a schedule. And so that was actually my first experience with
• 23:32
  Survivor was watching Surviving Maine, you know, the season that my cousin was
• 23:37
  on. And then once I had consumed all that, I was like,

  this is this is great. I need more of this. And so that's
• 23:42
  what got me in the door. So I have to my cousin Rebecca.

  I have to give respect to her for getting me into it, and I'm
• 23:52
  hopeful that her dream of being on the real, the real show someday will

  happen for and then we can call her and hang up on her. Trying

  to run that a little smoother, Jason, but a little heads up.

  It's fantastic, more family connections. I also hope that she ends up on

  Actual Survivor. It seems like there'll be another forty four season, so fingers

  to you. What's inspiring you from the world of Survivor. I love Survivor

  for a lot of reasons, but one of them is that it feels like

  just real life brought onto a game show. So it's not as heavy as

  real life, but it still show cases real life. So there's a character
• 24:59
  named Seek, and by character, I mean a real person who played on
• 25:03
  the show, and he is a really good player. I think that when
• 25:08
  he plays, I feel the most similar probably to Seek. He like knows
• 25:12
  how to charismatically build relationship with people and is definitely thinking very strategically. But
• 25:19
  he thought too strategically got out of the game too quickly, he was too
• 25:23
  big of a threat. Came back another season and continue to play a fantastic
• 25:29
  game. Zeke is a transgender man and was outed at a tribal council as
• 25:36
  transgender. Whoa, whoa, Yeah it was yeah. So I do want
• 25:41
  to clarify real quickly that zek. CBS asked Zeek if they could air the
• 25:48
  actual and gave him the decision to do that, and he chose to do
• 25:52
  it, which I think was totally his call to say no, And I
• 25:56
  was in such a vulnerable position I would have said no, but he chose
• 26:00
  to air it, and I think that was a kindness to the viewers,
• 26:06
  and the person who outed him quickly realized what he did and regretted it.

  And I think it was such a vulnerable expression of the human experience where this
• 26:18
  man who outed him he lost. I mean, he got voted out that
• 26:21
  season spoiler, but or he got voted out that episode as he should have.

  He was on his way out. Anyways, it was his last ditch

  effort. But anyways, Zeke. You see on camera Zeke dealing with I've

  just been outed in front of not only this group, but national television,
