- 1:15Speaker 2: Hi Catherine, Hi Chelsea, Hi, how are you doing.
- 1:19Speaker 3: I gotta tell you I need a little bit of
- 1:22Speaker 3: marital advice. I just found out something my husband did
- 1:26Speaker 3: that is maybe disagreeable to me.
- 1:29Speaker 4: So we're heavy.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Didn't have anything to do with hard boiled eggs.
- 1:32Speaker 3: No, but I will say my mom came to visit
- 1:35Speaker 3: last week and within twenty four hours she made two
- 1:37Speaker 3: separate dishes with hard boiled eggs, so I was very happy.
- 1:41Speaker 5: Hi.
- 1:41Speaker 1: The irony with how many hard boiled eggs I now
- 1:44Speaker 1: consume on a daily basis versus my initial reaction to
- 1:48Speaker 1: your hard boiled eggs on a plane, which I'm still against. Obviously,
- 1:51Speaker 1: I have this understand against that. Oh, by the way,
- 1:53Speaker 1: did you hear the news that United is calling out
- 1:55Speaker 1: passengers that talk on their phones or listen to podcasts
- 1:59Speaker 1: or any sort of media without headphones? You'll get moved
- 2:02Speaker 1: off their flight. So when you go United Airlines, way
- 2:06Speaker 1: to go.
- 2:07Speaker 3: Yes, that's incredible, that's incredible, And pretty soon they'll be
- 2:10Speaker 3: removing people with hard bold eggs.
- 2:12Speaker 6: I'm pretty sure I think that hard boiled eggs are
- 2:14Speaker 6: kind of like LSD any kind of psychedelics where it's
- 2:16Speaker 6: like set and setting. You know, you have to have
- 2:18Speaker 6: the right place, right time.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Not not true. I was. I was worried when my
- 2:27Speaker 2: k new when Cowboy came to visit me for the
- 2:28Speaker 2: first time.
- 2:29Speaker 1: I was like, oh my god, I hope he likes
- 2:31Speaker 1: eggs because they're gonna be everywhere. And not only that,
- 2:34Speaker 1: I eat four hard boiled egg whites and one yolk
- 2:37Speaker 1: and it's sad to stop giving all the yolks to
- 2:39Speaker 1: Doug because of his own cholesterol issues. I was like,
- 2:42Speaker 1: I'm kill my fucking dog with the plaque with heart plaque.
- 2:46Speaker 1: So Cowboy loves hard boiled eggs just as much as
- 2:49Speaker 1: I do.
- 2:50Speaker 4: And I'm sure Doug Oh also does. Speaking of Cowboy,
- 2:52Speaker 4: you kind of like hard launched like I did not.
- 2:54Speaker 1: I did not hard launch it, and hard launch, I mean,
- 2:57Speaker 1: it would be very rude to go on vacation with
- 2:59Speaker 1: someone several times of who I'm dating and only post
- 3:02Speaker 1: pictures of myself. That is unacceptable. So I just am
- 3:06Speaker 1: trying to slip them in there. It's not a hard launch.
- 3:08Speaker 2: That's who I'm dating.
- 3:09Speaker 1: I'm having a good time in my life. This is
- 3:12Speaker 1: the guy that I'm with right now. There's nothing to announce.
- 3:14Speaker 1: I'm just doing my thing and trying to be inclusive
- 3:17Speaker 1: and represent what I'm actually doing instead of being secretive
- 3:21Speaker 1: for no reason.
- 3:22Speaker 6: Sharing an igloo together, Yes.
- 3:24Speaker 1: We're sharing iglus together. Yes, we've shared a lot more
- 3:27Speaker 1: than that.
- 3:28Speaker 3: And yeah, flying igloos, saunas and karaoke song yeah, well
- 3:32Speaker 3: minus the karaoke is the karayok.
- 3:36Speaker 6: You know.
- 3:36Speaker 3: I think that that's I mean good, I'm glad you're
- 3:38Speaker 3: having fun.
- 3:39Speaker 4: I'm glad that's great.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:40Speaker 1: I just don't want to be sultra private or take
- 3:42Speaker 1: myself too seriously.
- 3:43Speaker 2: I don't care and I don't want. I don't know.
- 3:45Speaker 2: I just am trying to be real.
- 3:47Speaker 3: I'm real as a person who you know, enjoys celebrity
- 3:50Speaker 3: culture and all that stuff. Like I think that that's great,
- 3:53Speaker 3: Like so many people are so like it's very very
- 3:55Speaker 3: hidden until it's not.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Yeah, and it's like I don't want it just because
- 3:59Speaker 1: of my relationship in the past that have been public
- 4:01Speaker 1: and be like, oh no, doing that again.
- 4:03Speaker 4: I don't care.
- 4:03Speaker 2: I really just don't care. There's enough shit going on
- 4:06Speaker 2: in the world.
- 4:06Speaker 1: I want to spread joy, love and happiness, and that's
- 4:08Speaker 1: what I'm feeling, so I want people to feel it
- 4:10Speaker 1: as well.
- 4:11Speaker 3: I do have to tell you lately, I've been hearing
- 4:13Speaker 3: your voice in my head. Anytime I feel like scared
- 4:16Speaker 3: to do something or nervous about something, I just hear
- 4:19Speaker 3: your voice in my head saying like the world is
- 4:21Speaker 3: about to end, so just like who cares for it?
- 4:23Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 4:23Speaker 2: But wait, you did finish your marital problem with Brad.
- 4:26Speaker 4: Oh up, So let's go back to it.
- 4:28Speaker 2: Brad.
- 4:28Speaker 3: You need to get back on the mic because I
- 4:30Speaker 3: need to talk about something that you have done.
- 4:32Speaker 4: Hold on, let him run back.
- 4:33Speaker 2: To show your face, Brad please.
- 4:35Speaker 3: Okay, So you need to tell me if I need
- 4:37Speaker 3: to move on from my marriage because we have some
- 4:39Speaker 3: people doing some work at the backyard right now. I
- 4:42Speaker 3: mean it's like hard work. They're like tearing up some
- 4:44Speaker 3: concrete and stuff. And I said to Brad this morning,
- 4:47Speaker 3: I go, oh, we should tell them they can use
- 4:49Speaker 3: the bathroom inside if they need to use the bathroom.
- 4:51Speaker 3: And he said, oh, I just told them they could
- 4:53Speaker 3: pee behind the bush out back.
- 4:57Speaker 6: I mean they're guys that we don't need them track
- 4:59Speaker 6: and mud through the house.
- 5:01Speaker 2: That is really funny outside the man.
- 5:05Speaker 6: Yes, well they're only here for like a day. They
- 5:07Speaker 6: didn't bring a porta potty.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Yeah, Well I think that's actually nice because I think
- 5:12Speaker 1: men will know where men want to go to the bathroom.
- 5:15Speaker 1: It's not like women can pretend to know what men
- 5:17Speaker 1: are their desires are. I'm sure they would rather pee
- 5:19Speaker 1: outside than come into your house. I worry about not
- 5:22Speaker 1: making a mess, you know what I mean. So I
- 5:25Speaker 1: understand your initial shock, Catherine, but I think we can
- 5:28Speaker 1: let Brad off the hook.
- 5:29Speaker 2: I think he did the right thing. Actually, thank you
- 5:32Speaker 2: about it.
- 5:32Speaker 6: He was he said, I don't want to use your
- 5:34Speaker 6: inside bathroom?
- 5:34Speaker 2: Okay better.
- 5:36Speaker 6: I was like, well, there's a bush up back in
- 5:38Speaker 6: the corner. Go behind that. No one will ever see.
- 5:40Speaker 1: You, no harm and unless you go out into that
- 5:42Speaker 1: area of the bush, Catherine, and then rub your based
- 5:45Speaker 1: around in the grass, So there's nothing for you to
- 5:47Speaker 1: be concerned about.
- 5:47Speaker 6: Where the dogs go. It's I mean it is, that's where.
- 5:50Speaker 4: The dogs go. So they're going to have some fun
- 5:51Speaker 4: smells to smell.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Great wonderful.
- 5:54Speaker 4: So that's a nice treat for them. You're off the hook.
- 5:57Speaker 6: You're off. Thank you for your vote of confidence.
- 6:03Speaker 4: Well, Chelsea, I have an update, and this is from Dwayne.
- 6:08Speaker 3: It's a little long, it's cut down, but it's it's
- 6:11Speaker 3: you know, still okay.
- 6:12Speaker 4: I'm still gonna be long. Brace yourself. So Dwayne had
- 6:16Speaker 4: called in on a mini show.
- 6:18Speaker 3: Yes, actually he's wondering about creatine and how many hard
- 6:22Speaker 3: Bold eggs he should eat.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Version's already on the right program, whatever that program is.
- 6:27Speaker 3: He called in on a Minnesota about his mom's deadbeat
- 6:30Speaker 3: boyfriend and mom was like older about to have some
- 6:32Speaker 3: hip replacement surgery and so Dwayne.
- 6:35Speaker 4: Had to go deal with the boyfriend.
- 6:38Speaker 3: So he says, Hi, Chelsea, just wanted to give you
- 6:41Speaker 3: an update on how things have gone since getting your advice.
- 6:44Speaker 3: Before my mom, now eighty one, could have her hip
- 6:46Speaker 3: replacement surgery, she had to have some tests done to
- 6:48Speaker 3: make sure it was safe for her to go under anesthesia.
- 6:51Speaker 3: Long story short, she chose not to have the surgery
- 6:53Speaker 3: due to her age and potential risks. As a result,
- 6:56Speaker 3: she'll continue to use her walker and eventually moved to
- 6:58Speaker 3: a wheelchair. I took your vice and use these surgeries
- 7:01Speaker 3: to try and talk her into selling her home and
- 7:03Speaker 3: moving to a senior community. No luck there at all.
- 7:06Speaker 3: I explained how she would keep her independence and with
- 7:08Speaker 3: the services available at these fifty five plus communities, she
- 7:11Speaker 3: may even feel more independent along with having a better
- 7:14Speaker 3: quality of life. After visiting her a couple months ago,
- 7:17Speaker 3: I tried selling this to her a bit more because
- 7:19Speaker 3: I was able to see she's only able to keep
- 7:21Speaker 3: up with some of the housekeeping, not to mention the
- 7:23Speaker 3: difficulty of stars for the second floor.
- 7:25Speaker 4: She would still not budge.
- 7:27Speaker 3: Bob the boyfriend is still around, and while he does
- 7:30Speaker 3: help with some things like shoveling snow and mowing the lawn,
- 7:32Speaker 3: he doesn't.
- 7:33Speaker 4: Clean the house.
- 7:34Speaker 3: He's very capable, but no, she still feels he's better
- 7:37Speaker 3: than nothing. On the upside, though, I did talk her
- 7:39Speaker 3: into taking your advice of going to an elder law
- 7:41Speaker 3: attorney who got everything in order for us.
- 7:44Speaker 2: Great place me.
- 7:45Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, this has a good a good swing here.
- 7:48Speaker 3: She placed me as her beneficiary and power of attorney
- 7:50Speaker 3: for both medical and financial.
- 7:52Speaker 4: She also had a lawyer write up a.
- 7:54Speaker 3: Sworn and notarized affidavit stating that her and Bob were
- 7:57Speaker 3: just friends living together and she does not recognize them
- 7:59Speaker 3: being in civil union of any kind, including common law marriage.
- 8:03Speaker 4: Which is like, I didn't even know you could do that.
- 8:04Speaker 4: That's awesome.
- 8:05Speaker 3: I also spoke with the attorney on details so I
- 8:08Speaker 3: could be assured that if anything did happen to my
- 8:10Speaker 3: mom that Bob had no rights to anything he shouldn't.
- 8:12Speaker 3: She confirmed for me that he is not on any
- 8:14Speaker 3: financial accounts and my mom is safe. As for the house,
- 8:17Speaker 3: that's also ironclad protected from him taking possession, and I'm
- 8:21Speaker 3: only required to give him thirty days to vacate.
- 8:23Speaker 4: Well, I hope that time is far in the future.
- 8:25Speaker 3: I have to admit that I look forward to saying
- 8:27Speaker 3: those four magical words to him, get the fuck out.
- 8:30Speaker 3: Thank you so much for not only the advice you
- 8:32Speaker 3: gave me, but also your advocacy, educating, entertaining, and incredible humor.
- 8:36Speaker 4: Dwyane.
- 8:36Speaker 2: Oh thanks, Dwayne. I love that that.
- 8:39Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Yeah, so everything's working out pretty well there. And yeah,
- 8:44Speaker 3: mom's mom's protected financially, which is great, so good.
- 8:47Speaker 5: I love that.
- 8:48Speaker 1: I love when our parents are protected financially exactly the
- 8:51Speaker 1: female ones.
- 8:52Speaker 3: Yeah, and I also love that he went to a
- 8:54Speaker 3: female lawyer, like great, wonderful one.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Yeah, exact.
- 8:56Speaker 4: We love a she when we hear about a layer.
- 8:58Speaker 3: Okay, So our collor today is Christina and she's calling
- 9:02Speaker 3: in from Espagna.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Oh okay, she.
- 9:04Speaker 3: Says, dear Chelsea. My name's Christina and I'm a thirty
- 9:07Speaker 3: five year old American that's been living abroad for nine years.
- 9:10Speaker 3: I have lived and worked all over the world, from
- 9:13Speaker 3: Vietnam to Australia and now I currently live in Spain.
- 9:16Speaker 3: I absolutely love my nomadic lifestyle. I've learned so much
- 9:19Speaker 3: about the world, and I've grown so much as a person,
- 9:21Speaker 3: and I feel like I'm a better person because of it.
- 9:23Speaker 3: But last year, after a trip to Colorado to visit
- 9:26Speaker 3: my family, I found myself considering a move back to
- 9:28Speaker 3: the United States to be closer to them. My parents
- 9:31Speaker 3: are getting older and it's hard to see them age.
- 9:33Speaker 3: I want to spend more time with them while they're
- 9:35Speaker 3: still sprightly. I miss my two year old niece, and
- 9:38Speaker 3: I especially miss my sister, who's pregnant again with boy
- 9:40Speaker 3: do in the spring. I want to be a good
- 9:42Speaker 3: auntie and be around to watch my niece and nephew
- 9:44Speaker 3: grow up. I'm very nervous, however, about leaving my safe,
- 9:47Speaker 3: comfortable life in Europe where there are no guns. I'm
- 9:50Speaker 3: a teacher, free healthcare and affordable cost of living and
- 9:53Speaker 3: a great work life balance to move back into Trump's America?
- 9:57Speaker 3: Am I crazy to abandon the life I've built here?
- 10:00Speaker 3: Thank you, ladies for all you do. Your podcast keeps
- 10:02Speaker 3: me sane and it's the craziness of the world.
- 10:04Speaker 4: Christina Hi, Christina Hi.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Normally I would say, go be with your family, But honestly,
- 10:12Speaker 1: I would not move to the United States at this
- 10:15Speaker 1: stage in the game.
- 10:16Speaker 2: I really just would not. It's not worth it.
- 10:19Speaker 1: It's too ugly, it's too upsetting. You're leaving a peaceful place.
- 10:22Speaker 1: I think I just hold on and see what happens,
- 10:25Speaker 1: and hopefully things start to turn around after the midterms,
- 10:29Speaker 1: and if not, then then you're gonna have to wait
- 10:30Speaker 1: another couple of years. But I honestly just would not
- 10:33Speaker 1: come to the United States. It's like, it's like the
- 10:36Speaker 1: worst decision you could make.
- 10:39Speaker 5: That's my dilemma. I know, That's what I feel like.
- 10:42Speaker 5: Most sensible people would say.
- 10:45Speaker 3: Christina, are your folks having any health crises right now?
- 10:48Speaker 3: Are they sort of like having trouble with daily live
- 10:51Speaker 3: activities of daily living or is it sort of stable
- 10:54Speaker 3: at the moment.
- 10:56Speaker 5: They're fine, They're not like so old you know that
- 10:59Speaker 5: they need sure somebody to be helping them all the time.
- 11:02Speaker 5: But you know, I just kind of think about when
- 11:06Speaker 5: am I finally going to come back.
- 11:08Speaker 2: Is it going to be like when one of them.
- 11:10Speaker 5: Needs a caretaker or what if something happens and I'm
- 11:14Speaker 5: not around. I don't know. I just I haven't felt
- 11:17Speaker 5: this feeling of you know, last year, I went to
- 11:19Speaker 5: visit and I felt like I didn't want to leave
- 11:22Speaker 5: because I didn't want to leave my sister.
- 11:24Speaker 4: I didn't want to leave my family.
- 11:26Speaker 5: And I've never felt that in all of these years
- 11:28Speaker 5: of living overseas. So it's just kind of been in
- 11:31Speaker 5: my head and I'm not sure what to do.
- 11:34Speaker 1: Yeah, obviously, you know, if that's feeling is more powerful
- 11:37Speaker 1: than the feeling of trepidation, I guess to move to
- 11:41Speaker 1: the States, then you should go with that feeling. But
- 11:43Speaker 1: I just would never move to the States right now,
- 11:45Speaker 1: no matter what.
- 11:46Speaker 3: I wonder if there is there an opportunity right now
- 11:49Speaker 3: for you to like take a month or six weeks
- 11:51Speaker 3: and come visit, so you're not like moving your whole life,
- 11:54Speaker 3: but you can come spend some quality time with your
- 11:57Speaker 3: folks and with your sister, like maybe around the time
- 12:01Speaker 3: the baby comes, or maybe when they get a little
- 12:02Speaker 3: more settled.
- 12:04Speaker 5: Well, I'm a teacher, so I have to wait until
- 12:06Speaker 5: the end of the school year, which is in June.
- 12:09Speaker 5: So I could go in the summer.
- 12:11Speaker 2: Yeah, that sounds more reasonable.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Make it a temporary trip rather than a permanent one,
- 12:15Speaker 1: you know, and taste it out. Maybe you go and
- 12:18Speaker 1: like things that are calmed down, you know, maybe like
- 12:21Speaker 1: things will who knows what's going to happen next. That's
- 12:23Speaker 1: the state that everyone is that I feel so uncomfortable about.
- 12:26Speaker 1: It's just like it's very destabilizing and you know, you
- 12:29Speaker 1: don't know what is going to happen next. So more
- 12:31Speaker 1: information is better and Spain is safe.
- 12:34Speaker 2: Stay there right.
- 12:35Speaker 4: Now, Yeah, it's very safe.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Yeah, and I'll be there soon.
- 12:41Speaker 4: Oh good, good good.
- 12:42Speaker 3: I think. Also, because you're a teacher and you have
- 12:45Speaker 3: a year that you're committed to when you're teaching in class,
- 12:49Speaker 3: one thing you might do is like maybe you wait
- 12:51Speaker 3: till next year to do this, but you might see
- 12:54Speaker 3: like if you can get a job lined up here,
- 12:57Speaker 3: or if you can get some interviews, and if you
- 12:59Speaker 3: do get something lined up up and it makes sense
- 13:01Speaker 3: to move in a year year and a half, you know,
- 13:04Speaker 3: maybe that's sort of your sign.
- 13:06Speaker 4: But then you can also like know that.
- 13:07Speaker 3: You're moving back to have like a job and things
- 13:10Speaker 3: are set up for you, versus just sort of like, well,
- 13:12Speaker 3: I'm going to wing it and come home.
- 13:15Speaker 4: And now you also have a boyfriend there is he
- 13:17Speaker 4: also American.
- 13:18Speaker 5: And we we left together, so we've been doing all
- 13:20Speaker 5: of this traveling together.
- 13:22Speaker 2: Yeah, you're on the right track.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Just stick with your guy, honestly, like, don't rock the
- 13:26Speaker 1: boat right now.
- 13:27Speaker 5: Okay, Yeah, Catherine, to answer your question, I think he'll
- 13:32Speaker 5: go wherever I go. So ultimately, whatever I want to do,
- 13:36Speaker 5: he'll he'll be on board. Good.
- 13:38Speaker 3: It's nice to have a man like that who's just like,
- 13:40Speaker 3: all right, you get to make the big life decisions.
- 13:43Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, I call the shots and he he'll help
- 13:47Speaker 5: make it happen.
- 13:48Speaker 4: So I was great.
- 13:49Speaker 2: I love this for you. Your life is good. Just leave
- 13:52Speaker 2: it alone right now and just let's hope for the best.
- 13:55Speaker 3: Yeah, you got it, Christy, And all right, let us
- 13:58Speaker 3: know what you decide to do, and if you're able
- 13:59Speaker 3: to find a job in a year, if you decide
- 14:02Speaker 3: to move back, if you get to visit family, but
- 14:04Speaker 3: let us know how it all goes.
- 14:05Speaker 4: Okay, Okay, I'll keep you updated.
- 14:07Speaker 2: Okay, thank you, Christina.
- 14:09Speaker 3: I one thing I wanted to add. I thought this
- 14:17Speaker 3: was just a little bit serendipitous. Got an email this week, Chelsea,
- 14:21Speaker 3: from Lisa who for anybody who is not wanting to
- 14:25Speaker 3: live in the United States anymore for a lot of reasons.
- 14:28Speaker 3: Lisa says, Hello, wanted to reach out and share with
- 14:31Speaker 3: you something I hope you can use your platform to
- 14:32Speaker 3: share and help others with, especially with this Kansas law
- 14:35Speaker 3: affecting the trans community. I'm a part of a large
- 14:38Speaker 3: group of volunteers who put together a website full of
- 14:41Speaker 3: resources to help vulnerable people leave the United States or
- 14:44Speaker 3: at least make backup plans for their families if and
- 14:46Speaker 3: when things get worse. The website is called help Me Leave.
- 14:50Speaker 3: It's for folks who are scared by the anti LGBTQ
- 14:53Speaker 3: rules and laws taking place, the ice targeting, etc. Listeners
- 14:56Speaker 3: can find out more at www dot help Me Leave
- 14:59Speaker 3: dot U and thank you for using your platform to
- 15:02Speaker 3: speak up and out against this bullshit administration. Cheers Lisa.
- 15:06Speaker 3: So I thought that was like very interesting that we
- 15:08Speaker 3: got that email this week.
- 15:10Speaker 4: Well, talking to someone who's.
- 15:13Speaker 3: Considering a move back to this particular shit show. All right,
- 15:17Speaker 3: well we'll wrap up with a little quickie. This person says,
- 15:20Speaker 3: Dear Chelsea, I'm writing this email in hopes that you
- 15:23Speaker 3: can provide some suggestions patients, or some creative alternative. I
- 15:27Speaker 3: sit next to a mail of course coworker who clears
- 15:30Speaker 3: his throat incessantly for about an hour after lunch every
- 15:35Speaker 3: single day.
- 15:35Speaker 2: That is called acid reflux.
- 15:38Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 15:39Speaker 3: We've counted, and it can be upwards of thirty eight
- 15:42Speaker 3: throat clears in twenty minutes. Myself and a few surrounding
- 15:45Speaker 3: coworkers have made subtle and not so subtle comments, think
- 15:48Speaker 3: handing him mint, offering him to get water, straight up
- 15:52Speaker 3: asking are you okay over there? He has every excuse
- 15:55Speaker 3: in the book, from dust, dirt, roads, greasy or spicy foods, allergies.
- 15:59Speaker 3: A few of us even went to HR with no resolution.
- 16:02Speaker 3: We're hoping his desk will be moved, but he has seniority,
- 16:04Speaker 3: therefore it's not happening. I put in air pods and
- 16:07Speaker 3: plast music or your podcast, and I can hear him
- 16:10Speaker 3: over it. I've run out of ideas on how to
- 16:12Speaker 3: get my point across and don't see much help coming
- 16:14Speaker 3: for management.
- 16:14Speaker 4: Any suggestions or do. I just need to deal with it.
- 16:17Speaker 2: You just need to have a direct conversation with him.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Just make it be about yourself or your husband, like, oh,
- 16:22Speaker 1: my boyfriend went through this, so I know, or I
- 16:24Speaker 1: went through this.
- 16:24Speaker 4: I know that's good.
- 16:25Speaker 1: You have acid reflex. He has acid reflex. I also
- 16:28Speaker 1: have acid reflex. So if I spoke too many joints,
- 16:30Speaker 1: my friends have to sit around and listen to me go.
- 16:34Speaker 1: It's so fucking annoying and I feel terrible. It doesn't
- 16:37Speaker 1: stop me, but sometimes it does stop me.
- 16:40Speaker 4: Sometimes instagummies for a while.
- 16:41Speaker 2: I do, I do.
- 16:42Speaker 1: I try not to, you know, like when I start
- 16:44Speaker 1: clearing my throat, I'm like, this is a very annoying
- 16:45Speaker 1: to people. So I think you just have a direct
- 16:47Speaker 1: conversation and speak from experience, Like even if it's a lie,
- 16:50Speaker 1: just say, oh, you know, my husband dealt with this.
- 16:52Speaker 1: I think you have acid reflex, and there are ways
- 16:55Speaker 1: to help you know. It is kind of a it's
- 16:56Speaker 1: kind of annoying to hear someone clear the throat all
- 16:58Speaker 1: the time.
- 16:58Speaker 3: Like it's really distracted when I'm trying to get my
- 17:00Speaker 3: work done.
- 17:01Speaker 1: If there's something you can do about it, there's something
- 17:04Speaker 1: you can do about it. I take prevacid, and there's
- 17:06Speaker 1: also this like vanilla extract online that you can get
- 17:09Speaker 1: that like kind of it's I mean, acid reflex really
- 17:13Speaker 1: is reactive to certain types of food and spices and
- 17:15Speaker 1: all that stuff. But it's also when you lie down
- 17:17Speaker 1: and it like kind of comes alive. But there's acid
- 17:20Speaker 1: reflex and then there's like another component of acid refracts.
- 17:23Speaker 2: So it could be any of those things.
- 17:25Speaker 1: But me and my girlfriend who's here right now in
- 17:28Speaker 1: Whistler with me, she and I have had.
- 17:30Speaker 2: A long talks about that real sexy stuff going on
- 17:35Speaker 2: over here.
- 17:35Speaker 3: Give some tombs at your desk, and like, if all
- 17:37Speaker 3: those pills get some noise canceling headphones because they really
- 17:40Speaker 3: do help.
- 17:40Speaker 1: Oh yeah, noise canceling headphones are good, and that's a
- 17:42Speaker 1: good idea. And once you yeah, once he walks around
- 17:45Speaker 1: an office and sees everyone in noise canceling headphones, yeah,
- 17:47Speaker 1: then I guess there's the situation that you have to
- 17:49Speaker 1: deal with.
- 17:49Speaker 3: And then send him the bill for the headphones. Well
- 17:53Speaker 3: that's all we've got for today, Chelsea.
- 17:55Speaker 2: Okay, awesome, see you guys next week. Okay, guys.
