- 2:04Speaker 2: a weather bomb. Mogi, can I ask I know you
- 2:08Speaker 2: love it? I love the weather bomb, I do. Can
- 2:10Speaker 2: I ask you a question, Jason? Is Monday the worst
- 2:12Speaker 2: day to have a birthday? And I don't need to

- 3:46Speaker 4: before the show. Bugging me typical Hoidy Jay got a
- 3:49Speaker 4: great gift for old Keesy. Did I bring it in
- 3:52Speaker 4: with me? No, sitting on my bloody bench at home.
- 3:57Speaker 4: So maybe tomorrow, maybe tomorrow?
- 3:58Speaker 2: All right, good on you mate, just taught me through
- 4:00Speaker 2: what it was. I don't want to the surprise, it
- 4:03Speaker 2: spoils it.
- 4:04Speaker 4: It's something that I've thought of a while ago and
- 4:07Speaker 4: had to order from overseas and blah blah blah.
- 4:09Speaker 6: It's took a while to get here, and then you
- 4:11Speaker 6: did last and then you ordered something last year.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Why do you get the damn thing?
- 4:16Speaker 5: Can you bring in last year's one? Because you said
- 4:18Speaker 5: this exact same thing last year?
- 4:19Speaker 2: Oh my god, I feel like you guys should sort
- 4:22Speaker 2: this out on it. Can I just say we've had
- 4:24Speaker 2: some beautiful messages coming on three. Yeah, Casey, I'm gonna
- 4:27Speaker 2: I'm going to read these out for you, mate, all right,
- 4:29Speaker 2: you just you relax. You just drink them, drink them

- 5:00Speaker 5: Yeah, Hey, Kezy, my dirty brother.

- 5:08Speaker 2: She's dead now, but anyway, man, have a wicked birthday.
- 5:11Speaker 5: Man, thank you.
- 5:12Speaker 2: That's really nice. That's from Reagan and Twysel. This one here,
- 5:18Speaker 2: Happy birthday, maggot.
- 5:20Speaker 5: It is Monday.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Time to get responsibly steamed before taking into some thick
- 5:26Speaker 2: crust and monkey porn. Oh, Kezy, the bruski isn't good
- 5:31Speaker 2: on you man, mate, Keasy, Happy birthday anniversary. Greetings to
- 5:36Speaker 2: you fella. Hope you get to have some birthday Oh spicy,
- 5:43Speaker 2: that one was a little bit spicy, sure, Happy birthday.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Keasy love you. That's nice. It's a nice one in there.
- 5:49Speaker 2: This look we've absolutely been inundated.
- 5:53Speaker 5: Yeah, we'll do a little I'll go through, I'll collate them,
- 5:56Speaker 5: do a bit of admin around that, get some of
- 5:57Speaker 5: those talkbacks together, keeping coming and we'll read more out
- 6:00Speaker 5: and play those later on the show. And happy birthday.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Yeah, I hope someone got you some new ointment for
- 6:05Speaker 2: behind your knees.
- 6:06Speaker 5: Oh that's really nice.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 6:08Speaker 5: I haven't had that for twenty five odd years, but
- 6:11Speaker 5: thank you very much. Oh God, Pug Sun's coming into.
- 6:14Speaker 7: The studio, Happy christ.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Happy. Hey a picture here we've got, I think, and
- 6:38Speaker 2: it's a candle, but that's not lit.
- 6:40Speaker 5: The candle's not let.
- 6:41Speaker 2: It was lit and it's stuck into about half a
- 6:44Speaker 2: kilo of portmant.
- 6:46Speaker 5: It's New Zealand prime porkmants. Thank you very much. This
- 6:49Speaker 5: is the good stuff packed today as well. So that's
- 6:52Speaker 5: not going to go off for at least another three days.
- 6:53Speaker 5: Eat it not now? Well, yeah, I'm not going to
- 6:57Speaker 5: eat some raw Portmans in the studios to.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Us who brought you this beautiful Portman's cake?
- 7:03Speaker 5: You go thirds on this.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Yeah, your fingers.
- 7:07Speaker 4: He burnt his fingers already on the other cake that
- 7:10Speaker 4: you got, Key, look at that.
- 7:11Speaker 5: Well, that other cake was garbage compared.
- 7:13Speaker 2: To this Portmants cake.
- 7:15Speaker 5: Blow two grams of porlo make a wish you did?
- 7:21Speaker 5: Sorry about that.
- 7:24Speaker 2: Keep those.
- 7:27Speaker 5: Fellows really appreciate it. How did you know? Is all
- 7:29Speaker 5: I'll say?
- 7:30Speaker 4: Oh, mate, it was buddy, and the diary there popped
- 7:33Speaker 4: up as soon as I woke up this morning.
- 7:35Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, how did you know?
- 7:36Speaker 5: I wanted Portman's Wow?
- 7:39Speaker 2: Just a crazy yes, yeah, you know what I'm saying.
- 7:42Speaker 5: Thanks fellas emotional. Actually it's got a song.
- 7:44Speaker 1: He is the exponents the Hdarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt,
- 7:48Speaker 1: Mike Minogue and Kisy Yes.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Indeed the Red Hot Chili Peppers there on the radio.
- 7:54Speaker 4: Hold Archy Big Show. And I guess it has to
- 7:57Speaker 4: be done, fellas. We need to talk the league and
- 8:01Speaker 4: Warriors of course, mainly over the weekend. We've got our
- 8:04Speaker 4: great mate Charlie Gubb on the LINEX Warrior Warrior legend really.
- 8:08Speaker 2: And Charlie.
- 8:10Speaker 4: Am I correct in saying, because I think Saint George
- 8:14Speaker 4: won their match and that's the end of any mathematical
- 8:17Speaker 4: chants now for the Warriors.
- 8:19Speaker 3: Yeah, I think we were holding on to hope, brother,
- 8:22Speaker 3: but it was probably gone last week.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Yeah. The trouble with the mathematical chants when you're working
- 8:28Speaker 2: out all the ins and outs of it, Charlie, and
- 8:30Speaker 2: you'll know this. The problem is with all of that,
- 8:34Speaker 2: it relies on the Warriors winning some games, and that's
- 8:40Speaker 2: ultimately it's not going to happen, is it.
- 8:43Speaker 3: Well, Maby, I will say this. You know, last year
- 8:46Speaker 3: was great. We had high expectations. This year we didn't
- 8:50Speaker 3: meet them. But let's let's not go low on the boys.
- 8:54Speaker 3: Let's just stay up.
- 8:54Speaker 2: We support the thing, come on, oh absolutely, I support them.
- 8:57Speaker 2: But part of I do have a thing where there's
- 9:00Speaker 2: this thing we're part of supporting the team is you
- 9:02Speaker 2: can just blindly just have to enjoy every single mediocre
- 9:06Speaker 2: performance that's put on the paddock. And I don't think
- 9:09Speaker 2: that's really been a supporter. I think you're able to go, oh, well,
- 9:13Speaker 2: you know, not particularly. I still watch every single game
- 9:15Speaker 2: for eighty minutes, but I don't have to pretend that
- 9:18Speaker 2: I'm love and what's been dished up to I surely
- 9:21Speaker 2: you don't have to pretend that thinks and.
- 9:24Speaker 3: Me, I feel like probably only the Titans game was
- 9:28Speaker 3: where they really just there was no effe. They just
- 9:31Speaker 3: kind of think. But all the other games, the effort's
- 9:34Speaker 3: been there, even versus mainly on the weekend that first
- 9:37Speaker 3: twenty we were on their line so much. But we're
- 9:39Speaker 3: just not. We just don't seem to be threatening a
- 9:42Speaker 3: when we are, even when we're spreading wide. The other
- 9:44Speaker 3: thing just man on defense, we're not really breaking them
- 9:48Speaker 3: down like we did last year. We used to skin
- 9:50Speaker 3: them and you know, dalln would go over the corner.
- 9:52Speaker 3: But this year we're putting pressure on them and as
- 9:55Speaker 3: soon as Manly gets their fair share of territory, they
- 9:58Speaker 3: come down and they skin us. Both Waiting said it's
- 10:03Speaker 3: just not clicking.
- 10:04Speaker 5: Yeah, I must say, Charlie keesy here by the way, Matt,
- 10:08Speaker 5: have you well it's my birthday actually this is his birthday,
- 10:12Speaker 5: Charlie yep.
- 10:13Speaker 3: I was going to say y as soon as I
- 10:16Speaker 3: found out was your BIRTHDAYE rang pan your your the
- 10:19Speaker 3: local message part of that you like to go to
- 10:21Speaker 3: at ten pm, and I let him know that you might.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Be on me.
- 10:26Speaker 5: Thanks Charlie, did you do that?
- 10:27Speaker 2: That's great, mate? Thank you.
- 10:37Speaker 5: It's not that funny, guys. Yeah, yeah, sorry, Charlie, random
- 10:42Speaker 5: we bring up my birthday. Let's just keep it on
- 10:45Speaker 5: footy here. One thing we did notice at the weekend though, Charlie,
- 10:49Speaker 5: was that we started to like click as a backline.
- 10:52Speaker 5: We were getting it through the hands, We're starting to
- 10:53Speaker 5: do moves and we just dropped the ball I think
- 10:56Speaker 5: six times that. How the hell do you train to
- 10:59Speaker 5: take to not drop the ball? Is that effort areas
- 11:02Speaker 5: or is that we need to do more hands work
- 11:04Speaker 5: because obviously we do a crapload that wouldn't we Yeah.
- 11:08Speaker 3: And I'd probably be catching it all the time at training.
- 11:10Speaker 3: But that's that's more just the individual you know, when
- 11:12Speaker 3: they're are there are just hasn't hasn't last year? A
- 11:17Speaker 3: lot of them had their individual best years. You know
- 11:19Speaker 3: Sean was should have been Deli m Yeah, winger over
- 11:23Speaker 3: the year you could you could name every player, wad.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Megan, Adam, Fana, Blake. Yeah. And that is to me, man,
- 11:30Speaker 2: that is the big difference between this year and last year.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Like our forward pack is making the meters, there is
- 11:35Speaker 2: no absolutely no problem getting up to the other end.
- 11:38Speaker 2: Is just once we get into enemy territory, there is
- 11:42Speaker 2: just not that direction in the halves to get us,
- 11:45Speaker 2: to get us over the line. And when you've got
- 11:46Speaker 2: a guy that one year is the best player in
- 11:49Speaker 2: that position, he's a daim He should have been, as
- 11:51Speaker 2: we say, the winner, but he's right up there. He's
- 11:53Speaker 2: playing that good in that most pivotal position. To have
- 11:58Speaker 2: that missing from your team the following year, it's no
- 12:02Speaker 2: surprises that things are going to fall apart.
- 12:04Speaker 3: Yeah, that's right. You know, people say, oh, we've got
- 12:07Speaker 3: the same team, what's going on? But there's still that
- 12:09Speaker 3: human element movie as you know, like like you know,
- 12:12Speaker 3: one day you might be just absolutely heavy one but
- 12:15Speaker 3: you've got everyone in tears, all your jokes are coming up.
- 12:18Speaker 3: And then the next day, you know, you turn up
- 12:21Speaker 3: and it's Keethy's birthday and everyone's down.
- 12:23Speaker 4: And sometimes the way look, you know, and I know
- 12:34Speaker 4: you fellas think I don't know my league, but that's great,
- 12:37Speaker 4: you know, I my vibe is, and I've said it
- 12:40Speaker 4: quite a lot throughout the season. I just think they're
- 12:43Speaker 4: down in confidence. And when your confidence is down, you
- 12:46Speaker 4: do things like drop the ball, your second guess yourself.
- 12:49Speaker 4: You start feeling the pressure and they never quite recovered.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Well, keep in mind, Jase, you picked the Worries to
- 12:54Speaker 2: win the game. I did. I did.
- 12:56Speaker 4: And actually coming into the second half, the end of
- 12:59Speaker 4: the first half, I thought the boys coming back strong.
- 13:02Speaker 2: It never happened.
- 13:02Speaker 5: They were Charlie, before you go, mat of course, it's
- 13:05Speaker 5: time for your Porter King Player of the Round.
- 13:11Speaker 3: Oh wow, they've kind of put me on the spot.
- 13:15Speaker 3: Put me on the spot as I knew this was coming,
- 13:18Speaker 3: but I didn't really know. I'm going to give it
- 13:19Speaker 3: to Hoydy. He can give it because yeah, just Hoidy,
- 13:24Speaker 3: can you do it? But I'm mumbling, I'm all over the.
- 13:27Speaker 2: Place, busy.
- 13:28Speaker 4: Sure, I want to give it to Keysy's commentary.
- 13:34Speaker 2: Kesy's commentary was something special. It was a hell of
- 13:38Speaker 2: a run of curses and yeah, well maybe we'll do
- 13:40Speaker 2: a break in that later on the show. And absolutely
- 13:43Speaker 2: you are just lining that performances.
- 13:47Speaker 5: Thank you very much, and a big thank you to
- 13:49Speaker 5: you as well, Charlie. And don't forget if you're in
- 13:51Speaker 5: the Willington area.
- 13:52Speaker 3: Before I go, the Prisoner just for the Warriors hardcore.
- 13:56Speaker 3: We got the new South Wales Cup.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Team he'll be in the finals, yes, and the.
- 14:00Speaker 3: Jersey flag Sidler, so let's just get around.
- 14:02Speaker 2: Absolutely bloody Lady Charlie. Thank you. You're a massive bag
- 14:09Speaker 2: bone Charlie.
- 14:09Speaker 5: And don't forget if you're in the if you're in
- 14:11Speaker 5: the Wellington area, you need a Portloo head up. Porter
- 14:13Speaker 5: King and Uncle Charlie will sort you out.
- 14:16Speaker 1: They Big Show podcast. It sounds like they've struck again
- 14:21Speaker 1: the radio. Hod I keep twenty five grand Fidland.

- 16:48Speaker 5: Or you have to ride to work on a duck
- 16:51Speaker 5: every day. This is what happens when you put me
- 16:54Speaker 5: on the spot.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Definitely the duck. Definitely the dat.
- 16:57Speaker 5: We don't even know what size it is.

- 18:27Speaker 4: Keesy's birthday, by the ways, they keep those texts coming
- 18:29Speaker 4: in the talkbacks.
- 18:30Speaker 2: The birthday boy, isn't he ja? Here's the birthday boy,
- 18:33Speaker 2: Thanks Fellows.
- 18:34Speaker 6: I just want to say this time, thirty three years ago,
- 18:37Speaker 6: little nutty Keasy came into the world screaming in a
- 18:41Speaker 6: hollering Apparently I was asleep when I came out, really yeah,
- 18:45Speaker 6: and they had to smack my body.
- 18:46Speaker 2: Smack your body, yeah, your body? Body? Yea, all right,
- 18:52Speaker 2: that's how tough I was. I came out and raged.

- 19:02Speaker 4: be a star, hey, but.
- 19:11Speaker 2: Now nothing.

- 19:17Speaker 4: Is it Friday, the last Warriors home game of the season,
- 19:19Speaker 4: and Old what's his.
- 19:21Speaker 2: Name, Johnson's day of the week. What we can't be
- 19:26Speaker 2: there for his last home game. I'm not I'm not
- 19:29Speaker 2: thrilled about it, to be honest with you, big fan,
- 19:31Speaker 2: long time, an absolute backbone of the Warriors, and we're
- 19:33Speaker 2: going to be down on Welling's going to be avanna.
- 19:35Speaker 2: But you know we can get together, fellows. The other
- 19:37Speaker 2: thing I've got an issue as well is that I've
- 19:39Speaker 2: said to my wife we should have a date night
- 19:41Speaker 2: on Friday. With that out the window, I didn't realize
- 19:43Speaker 2: that the game was on Friday night because she's coming
- 19:45Speaker 2: down to WELLI you see with Old that's great, okay,
- 19:49Speaker 2: but no date night unless the data she comes to
- 19:53Speaker 2: the club with me and watches the worrit rugby League.
- 19:55Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't hanging out with him and puns.
- 19:58Speaker 4: Yeah great, I'll hang out with you and Pugsad and

- 20:42Speaker 4: Coming up, fellas deaf it all day? Oh yeah, I
- 20:45Speaker 4: think that's a thirtieth of August. That's right, and the
- 20:48Speaker 4: Big Show are going to be a very big part
- 20:50Speaker 4: of it.
- 20:51Speaker 5: That's why it's next. And breaking news.

- 21:12Speaker 5: the Auckland Harbor Bridge wearing nothing but a super tight
- 21:15Speaker 5: velvet deafitial costume. Because it's definitely day. No idea which
- 21:19Speaker 5: one of us is going to have to do it.
- 21:20Speaker 5: That will probably be chosen by the audiences.
- 21:23Speaker 2: Same.
- 21:24Speaker 5: Ah, well, that's that done. Then if you had, if
- 21:27Speaker 5: you would like to donate to help get us closer
- 21:29Speaker 5: to that one hundred thousand dollars mark, text the word
- 21:32Speaker 5: donate to two four four two. Right now that has

- 22:01Speaker 5: the iHeartRadio app to stream Hodaki. There's a little microphone
- 22:05Speaker 5: icon there if you tap it you can record a
- 22:07Speaker 5: voice message. Lachlan did just that.

- 24:52Speaker 4: There on the radio, Hodarky Big Show this Monday afternoon.
- 24:56Speaker 4: The time is twenty eight minutes past five o'clock. Got
- 24:58Speaker 4: a sport over the weekend? Still a bit of sports chat.
- 25:05Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, we do.
- 25:08Speaker 2: Classic Fellers.
- 25:10Speaker 4: Happened to old hoodie Jay on Saturday afternoon, sitting in one.
- 25:14Speaker 2: Of the kids down at the shopping or downtrail you again,
- 25:16Speaker 2: Oh yeah.
- 25:17Speaker 4: Apart from that though, ah, sitting in the lounge and
- 25:20Speaker 4: I said to my wife, oh, of course, All Black tonight,
- 25:23Speaker 4: All Black tonight, and she went, you do know we're
- 25:27Speaker 4: going to that movie, right? And I went sorry, and
- 25:31Speaker 4: she said, you know the movie we're going to tonight.
- 25:35Speaker 2: And when I were going to a movie, Arlie.
- 25:37Speaker 4: Did you tell me that? She said, yes, I told
- 25:39Speaker 4: you that. So I missed the All Black game because
- 25:41Speaker 4: it was exactly the same.
- 25:43Speaker 2: Time as the movie. Did you watch a replay or anything?
- 25:45Speaker 2: I did watch a replay.
- 25:46Speaker 5: What we do we do union chat here.
- 25:48Speaker 2: It's still a bit of union chat, touch pause.
- 25:53Speaker 5: Engage Rugby union chat with wy J. I just thought
- 25:57Speaker 5: we're doing sports chat first.
- 25:59Speaker 2: Okay, you have said we sort of finished off with
- 26:02Speaker 2: you sort of an order Saturday Sunday.
- 26:04Speaker 4: Yeah, Friday didn't and that was the worst we've done
- 26:07Speaker 4: the worst, Right, it makes sense what I did there, Keasy, Hey,
- 26:11Speaker 4: I watched the All Blacks.
- 26:12Speaker 2: Yeah, what did you think?
- 26:13Speaker 5: They played really good?
- 26:15Speaker 2: Well?
- 26:15Speaker 4: There were two there's two factors, isn't there? They got
- 26:18Speaker 4: their beans the weekend before. We always come back pretty strong,
- 26:22Speaker 4: eating part of the fortress. But boy, the boys fist
- 26:25Speaker 4: up played some good rugby.
- 26:26Speaker 2: I thought.
- 26:26Speaker 5: Can one observation from someone who's very much rugby league
- 26:29Speaker 5: when they took Damien McKinsey off, our attach seems to
- 26:32Speaker 5: stop as well. I feel like he was really humming
- 26:36Speaker 5: along and taking risks and they were paying off. Took
- 26:39Speaker 5: them off, put great goodfellas on the field in his placement,
- 26:41Speaker 5: and it just stopped. Ordered Argentina bar up in defense?
- 26:45Speaker 2: Was it? They started the bar up a little bit more,
- 26:47Speaker 2: particularly the second half, and also pissed down more. And
- 26:50Speaker 2: the first half was great and then it was just
- 26:52Speaker 2: one of those things came to has you know what
- 26:54Speaker 2: I mean? And then as well as the part and
- 26:57Speaker 2: then there's no points in the single whe there's one
- 26:58Speaker 2: try and the second half wasn't he I enjoyed that
- 27:01Speaker 2: first half great watch and Jesus good to tell you what.
- 27:04Speaker 2: It's always good having a couple of people in the
- 27:05Speaker 2: room just banging on and not watching a game. Yeah,
- 27:08Speaker 2: I love it. It doesn't matter, you know what six
- 27:10Speaker 2: hour keys and I've told you that before the break,
- 27:12Speaker 2: we're not going into that just banging on about god
- 27:17Speaker 2: knows what. It is distracting, Yes, I find it annoying.
- 27:23Speaker 4: I've got to say South Africa Australia watched that as well.
- 27:27Speaker 4: South Africa is so good man and we're going over
- 27:30Speaker 4: there next to play them in their home territory.
- 27:32Speaker 2: I don't rate our chances very highly. They're concerning. They're
- 27:35Speaker 2: the best side in the world. Without question that it
- 27:37Speaker 2: was a second string team they put up against the
- 27:39Speaker 2: all thirty three to nine. From memory, yes, yeah, I
- 27:43Speaker 2: think it was. It was definitely nine.
- 27:47Speaker 4: UFC as a sports chat, yeah, so.
- 27:53Speaker 2: You were f C three oh five was on Sunday
- 27:55Speaker 2: and I was bloody nervous for this one because it
- 27:57Speaker 2: was over there in Perth. There was three Kiwis fight
- 28:00Speaker 2: on the main card. The last three Fights of the night.
- 28:03Speaker 2: The main card. Well, yeah, I let's start with Titley
- 28:06Speaker 2: Vasari lost is a favorite. He's a fan favorite. He's
- 28:09Speaker 2: a heavyweight. Jase's Aboriginal descend Ossie Fell. He does chowies
- 28:13Speaker 2: every time he wins.
- 28:14Speaker 5: He's been funny.
- 28:14Speaker 2: He hasn't done a showy for five fights now because
- 28:16Speaker 2: he keeps on getting his bean. So I don't think
- 28:18Speaker 2: he's going to be long for the UFC. I think
- 28:21Speaker 2: he might have one more fighting him and then they'll
- 28:23Speaker 2: get rid of him. Then Dan Hooker fought Gamrock. Dan Hooker,
- 28:26Speaker 2: the Kiwi, he hasn't fought for about a year, came back.
- 28:30Speaker 2: This one went to a split decision. Dan Hooker won
- 28:32Speaker 2: it just he is the guys from another planet man. Yeah,
- 28:36Speaker 2: his love of just fighting, he just loves it. Yeah,
- 28:40Speaker 2: and he was losing. The guy that he was fighting.
- 28:43Speaker 2: Was he top five or something? Yeah, he's a weapon.
- 28:45Speaker 2: He was top five and now this fight should see
- 28:47Speaker 2: Hooker back into top five. There's an meme game he
- 28:51Speaker 2: was in the corner man. He's got cuts under both
- 28:53Speaker 2: eyes filled up so that he just crack his corner.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Eugene Berriman is trying to give him advice and he's
- 28:59Speaker 2: just cracking up and he just those boys. I love
- 29:01Speaker 2: this ship. Blood just pouring out of him. He's a
- 29:03Speaker 2: swollen mess and just like the decision could probably as
- 29:06Speaker 2: easily have gone the other way, but god, I was
- 29:08Speaker 2: so stoked that he won it. Coy Cutter France similarly
- 29:11Speaker 2: also to c KB first round knockout of Steve Verzig,
- 29:16Speaker 2: who is a Perth native. Coykata France is out the gate.
- 29:20Speaker 2: He is going to get another title shot and I'm
- 29:22Speaker 2: very excited for that. Then the main event Israel to
- 29:24Speaker 2: Sonia versus the champ Drinkers to per Se. Absolutely devastated
- 29:29Speaker 2: by this. I carried a sadness with me for the
- 29:32Speaker 2: rest of the evening. It's not entirely gone. Yeah, won
- 29:37Speaker 2: the first two rounds Addisonya's tank was carrying him through.
- 29:41Speaker 2: He won the third. He looked far better in the fourth,
- 29:44Speaker 2: and then just a slip of attention. He's got this
- 29:47Speaker 2: weird habit. If somebody starts punching him, he turns his
- 29:49Speaker 2: back on them and then they really start punching him. Anytime.
- 29:53Speaker 2: It's like you jas as soon as you're somebody sees
- 29:55Speaker 2: somebody that's got their back to you just start hammering
- 29:57Speaker 2: the barses, you know what I mean, Yes and so
- 30:00Speaker 2: and then he got choked out for the first time
- 30:02Speaker 2: in his career. I think there is a pathway for
- 30:03Speaker 2: him to come back. It's going to be a long road,
- 30:06Speaker 2: but I'd like to see him start it's sort of
- 30:09Speaker 2: the guy that's fifth and then work his way all
- 30:11Speaker 2: the way back to the top. I think it would
- 30:12Speaker 2: be amazing. But he is getting on. I don't know
- 30:14Speaker 2: if he's got the chill anymore. He's thirty five years old.
- 30:16Speaker 2: Great guard, gattered, overjoyed, but yeah, great stuff. I'm glad
- 30:21Speaker 2: I don't do that for a job. Man. Yeah, that'd
- 30:23Speaker 2: be tough. That'd be tough. Well be in the champ.
- 30:27Speaker 2: Let's see a sport chat for your Monday afternoon to.
- 30:30Speaker 1: Do the whole Achy Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike
- 30:35Speaker 1: Minogue and Keezy Bush.
- 30:36Speaker 4: There on the radio Hodarky Big Show this Monday afternoon.
- 30:40Speaker 2: Kesey's birthday. What's the plan Keyzy tonight?
- 30:44Speaker 5: As to be honest, Jace, I decided this year I'm
- 30:48Speaker 5: just gonna have a quiet one right usually on my
- 30:51Speaker 5: birthday there I'll get, you know, sort of fifteen of
- 30:54Speaker 5: my mates around, will go somewhere cool like we did.
- 30:56Speaker 2: You got fifteen mates a question?
- 31:00Speaker 5: We did? Well, it's mostly sort of eight mates.
- 31:03Speaker 7: Right.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Mates, yeah, double, you know what I mean.
- 31:08Speaker 5: And by the end of it it's about thirty.
- 31:09Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 31:12Speaker 5: But you know, so last time I had your fifteen
- 31:15Speaker 5: mates where you booked a table around what's one of
- 31:18Speaker 5: those actually punks on you'll know this, Hey, what's the
- 31:20Speaker 5: Japanese food? Will they flick it at you? Will they
- 31:23Speaker 5: flick the food at you like a hibachi grell or
- 31:25Speaker 5: a tipping yak?
- 31:27Speaker 2: Yeah, that's right, we did.
- 31:29Speaker 5: But yeah, we did tip in your keysy last time
- 31:30Speaker 5: and it was just all around the grill. It was
- 31:32Speaker 5: very fun. And this year I was just like, you know,
- 31:34Speaker 5: let's just have a quiet dinner with just a few
- 31:36Speaker 5: of the close mates.
- 31:37Speaker 2: Yeah. Nice, nice, I'm into that. Do you do it
- 31:39Speaker 2: on the weekend? Man? Generally because Monday is a most
- 31:43Speaker 2: people don't want to see you on a Monday.
- 31:47Speaker 5: On a Monday, Yeah, yeah, yeah, because Monday's the start
- 31:49Speaker 5: of the week. It does suck. Last year it was Saturday,
- 31:51Speaker 5: so it worked really well. But yes, so it'll just
- 31:54Speaker 5: be a few.
- 31:55Speaker 2: I'm not up for a big one anyway, So you
- 31:56Speaker 2: know what I'm saying.
- 31:59Speaker 5: Well, well, the main reason Pugs actually got you in here.
- 32:02Speaker 5: You're still good tonight.
- 32:04Speaker 2: Yeah, man, I'm really excited.
- 32:05Speaker 5: Should be good, should be a good time. Yeah yeah, yeah,
- 32:08Speaker 5: it's going to be like pretty, it's going to be
- 32:10Speaker 5: pretty uh pretty chill you know yeah?
- 32:12Speaker 4: Yeahs me fine, fine, split the bill or something like that.
- 32:19Speaker 5: You're not invited, man, you're just like And it's not
- 32:24Speaker 5: because I don't like you.
- 32:25Speaker 2: Oh is that part of it?
- 32:28Speaker 5: What I just I had to cut the cutoff. Had
- 32:32Speaker 5: to be somewhere, you know what I mean. So how
- 32:35Speaker 5: there's only sex people going. It's not like everyone's coming
- 32:38Speaker 5: all Keysy's colleagues room.
- 32:40Speaker 2: For one more? Yeah, I'm sure.
- 32:42Speaker 5: Well seven is an odd number because now you've got
- 32:44Speaker 5: to a chair at the end of the table.
- 32:46Speaker 2: Number seven.
- 32:46Speaker 4: Well, and I would you know, I still want to crowd.
- 32:51Speaker 5: It's a very intimate space and Pug, You're still good
- 32:54Speaker 5: to come though, yeah, because if no, no, no, no key,
- 32:58Speaker 5: because I'm gonna say, if you can't go, I know
- 33:00Speaker 5: another guy if.
- 33:02Speaker 4: I'm comfortable with, to be honest with you, Yeah, yeah
- 33:06Speaker 4: it's cool man.
- 33:07Speaker 2: I you can hit my spot man, Oh, hang on,
- 33:11Speaker 2: you're not going to come nah? Not if Jason again?
- 33:15Speaker 5: Was Mogi going your moog and pugs are going, well,
- 33:20Speaker 5: so you're definitely out.
- 33:21Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 33:22Speaker 2: I mean I just feel bad for Jason. It means
- 33:24Speaker 2: so much to him, and I know you were elemant
- 33:27Speaker 2: that you didn't want him there. You mean you made
- 33:31Speaker 2: that quite clear.
- 33:32Speaker 5: But we'll hang on now. So if you give your
- 33:36Speaker 5: spot to jas yes that is Jason is now going, yes,
- 33:39Speaker 5: then I make you want to go right. No, I
- 33:42Speaker 5: was gonna say because.
- 33:43Speaker 2: I mean I didn't. I was I felt like I'd
- 33:45Speaker 2: been bullied into going in the first place, to be
- 33:46Speaker 2: honest with you, because you were banging on that it
- 33:49Speaker 2: was going to.
- 33:50Speaker 5: Be free pess Well, yeah, I said I'd shout your
- 33:53Speaker 5: handle if you came.

- 34:15Speaker 2: Um. Kind of we're kind.
- 34:17Speaker 5: Of like a two for one for right, so you're
- 34:21Speaker 5: not going now, but.
- 34:22Speaker 2: I'm not comfortable if you go. If Jason isn't going,
- 34:25Speaker 2: we'll hang on. So you want me to go or
- 34:27Speaker 2: Jase to go, I don't think any of us should
- 34:29Speaker 2: be there.
- 34:29Speaker 5: Well, I'm not going if Jason's going, put it that way.
- 34:32Speaker 5: We hang on. But Jase isn't going because Mike's not going.
- 34:35Speaker 2: Well, no i am, because Mike said he'd give me
- 34:37Speaker 2: his place. You can have my place.
- 34:39Speaker 5: But I said you're not comfortable.
- 34:40Speaker 4: Well, I'm just saying that I don't feel comfortable with
- 34:42Speaker 4: Moggie not being there, is what I'm saying.

- 41:16Speaker 4: and right now it's time for What's on the Telly
- 41:21Speaker 4: with Mike Minogue.
- 41:26Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm not sure if I watch anything,
- 41:37Speaker 10: but I keep on having people asking me if I've
- 41:40Speaker 10: watched Colin from Accounts. Yeah, They're like, have you watched
- 41:43Speaker 10: Colin from Accounts? I was like, yeah, I don't like it,
- 41:45Speaker 10: and they're like, really is that?
- 41:47Speaker 2: Yeah? Have you watched another episode of the second season.
- 41:49Speaker 2: I haven't had a chance, man, I haven't had a chance,
- 41:51Speaker 2: but I'm definitely gonna watch it. But it is tricky
- 41:53Speaker 2: in your household when you watch everything together and actually
- 41:57Speaker 2: I'm going to get away from it. I'm done with it.
- 42:00Speaker 2: Your wife, Well, I'm done with that stuff, like doing
- 42:03Speaker 2: everything together. I don't think it's good. I want to
- 42:06Speaker 2: watch that. Yeah, so I'm going to watch that, but
- 42:10Speaker 2: also we sort of you know, it's going to be
- 42:12Speaker 2: at the same time or that, which I like. I
- 42:13Speaker 2: don't like missing out on sleep because that's my favorite
- 42:17Speaker 2: thing in the world. But also I feel like, yeah,
- 42:21Speaker 2: I like, I want to way even though it's Colin
- 42:23Speaker 2: from Accounts, because we're staying awake for Colin from again.
- 42:26Speaker 2: I know what you're saying.
- 42:27Speaker 5: Well, you don't even know. You haven't watched it yet.
- 42:28Speaker 2: Well, I've watched the first season plus one episode of
- 42:31Speaker 2: the second season, and so far I don't like it.
- 42:34Speaker 5: Yeah, you should watch the TVs in Plus, it's a
- 42:37Speaker 5: nice Australian comedy.
- 42:38Speaker 2: I watched the last I love her, Yes, I love
- 42:40Speaker 2: him as an actor. I love her as an act
- 42:42Speaker 2: I don't like the premise.
- 42:45Speaker 5: I think the writing is really good. Isn't that interesting?
- 42:48Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 42:49Speaker 5: I watched the last episode of the second season last night,
- 42:53Speaker 5: and the last two minutes of the very last episode
- 42:55Speaker 5: my wife couldn't handle how awkward it was and had
- 42:57Speaker 5: to go and brush your teeth. And I paused and
- 42:59Speaker 5: she said, don't pause that, you just keep watching it happens.
- 43:03Speaker 5: It was that bad.
- 43:04Speaker 4: She really is super sensitive to that stuff, isn't she.
- 43:08Speaker 4: She doesn't like awkwardness in any way.
- 43:10Speaker 5: No, so she doesn't like things. She really feels the
- 43:13Speaker 5: awkwardness on behalf of people like yeah, and so if
- 43:16Speaker 5: there's a scene in a TV show as well, ye're right,
- 43:19Speaker 5: you just go, oh my god, your skin steps.
- 43:21Speaker 2: I have to change the channel. I can't watch it. Yeah,
- 43:23Speaker 2: I find it unbearable.
- 43:24Speaker 5: The whole lead up to the bit she was like,
- 43:27Speaker 5: don't do it, don't do it, don't Oh my god,
- 43:29Speaker 5: don't he's doing I can't've got Yeah.
- 43:31Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that's how I felt in Bloodlines. Just on
- 43:34Speaker 2: that front.
- 43:35Speaker 4: Actually, my daughters and my wife, there's certain shows they.
- 43:38Speaker 2: Love that I cannot, I cannot cope with.
- 43:42Speaker 4: I won't go into what those shows are, but it's
- 43:44Speaker 4: very much a similar scenario. Let's just say people are
- 43:47Speaker 4: dating and I just I just cannot do this.
- 43:52Speaker 2: I cannot do Rile.
- 43:54Speaker 4: I went to a New Zealand film on Saturday, A
- 43:58Speaker 4: Mistake or Them Mistake, Mistake by Christina Jeffs.
- 44:03Speaker 2: Elizabeth Shoe is the lead in it is that Right
- 44:05Speaker 2: to Surgery thing? Not Elizabeth Shoe, Elizabeth the woman that
- 44:11Speaker 2: played the quirky She played the quirky character in that
- 44:18Speaker 2: series damn it. But anyway, very good film, very much
- 44:27Speaker 2: enjoyed it.
- 44:28Speaker 4: Basically, it's the story about a surgeon who does in
- 44:32Speaker 4: operation something goes wrong, and it's basically from there the falling.
- 44:38Speaker 2: Apart of various things that.
- 44:40Speaker 4: Very nicely shot, there's a couple of beautiful performances that
- 44:44Speaker 4: are very small and insignificant in the scheme of the film,
- 44:47Speaker 4: but are just beautiful.
- 44:49Speaker 2: And I very much enjoyed it and highly recommend it.
- 44:51Speaker 2: Four Bussies out of Fire. It's a key We movie,
- 44:55Speaker 2: a mistake, You're right, a mistake, and it's Elizabeth Banks
- 44:59Speaker 2: the US active, very great active. She's very good in
- 45:02Speaker 2: the director of Cocaine Beer, if I remember correctly. And
- 45:05Speaker 2: then an array of Kiwi stars although you and I
- 45:08Speaker 2: are in here, Ja.
- 45:09Speaker 4: That's true, Rena Owen and Matt Sunderland, Yes, who played
- 45:16Speaker 4: who played the parents? And I know Maddie very well
- 45:19Speaker 4: who played the parents of the of the person?
- 45:22Speaker 2: And do you uh their performances are.
- 45:24Speaker 4: Beautiful and they probably have about three lines in the
- 45:27Speaker 4: whole film, but they're great performances.
- 45:29Speaker 5: It's good the music's run out.
- 45:31Speaker 1: Oh the whole Archy Big Show week days from four
- 45:35Speaker 1: on Radio Hurdarchy.
- 45:36Speaker 4: Seven There on the Radio Honarchy Big Show the stormy,
- 45:40Speaker 4: blustery Monday evening in Auckland City, Nellison. Just a reminder,
- 45:44Speaker 4: by the way, Big Show live down in Wellington this
- 45:46Speaker 4: Friday at Bavar. Make sure if you're in the area
- 45:50Speaker 4: come down and say Gooday. But let's focus on the
- 45:52Speaker 4: Brewery of the day, shall we.
- 45:56Speaker 2: We're up to.
- 46:04Speaker 5: Yeah, brewery of the day. Every single day we feature
- 46:07Speaker 5: a different brewery from around New Zealand's you know, giving
- 46:10Speaker 5: back to Kiwi businesses, Feelers and all these amazing breweries
- 46:13Speaker 5: are going to be at Beavanna and Wellington this Friday
- 46:16Speaker 5: and Saturday. Get your texts Beavana, dot co, dot m Z.
- 46:18Speaker 5: Today's forward to that.
- 46:19Speaker 2: By the way, Fellers, same would be good. I'm not
- 46:22Speaker 2: actually looking forward to getting down to Elly. I don't know.
- 46:25Speaker 2: I don't like that part so much.
- 46:29Speaker 5: So because we're gonna do the show at four, finish
- 46:31Speaker 5: at seven. I've got an entire evening at Beervanna. Well,
- 46:35Speaker 5: I'll be drinking a lot of beers and stuff.
- 46:36Speaker 2: What are you going to do, Jays, I'll probably go
- 46:39Speaker 2: to a few galleries maybe, Yeah, go and have a
- 46:43Speaker 2: dinner somewhere.
- 46:45Speaker 5: You're not just gonna go straight back to the hotel
- 46:46Speaker 5: room and have a room service.
- 46:48Speaker 2: I don't.
- 46:49Speaker 4: Generally speaking, room services disappointing. I find a hotel, yes,
- 46:53Speaker 4: pretty much, but it's free.
- 46:56Speaker 2: Oh it is too. Yeah, I'll probably do that, Keasy.
- 46:58Speaker 2: What about you, Mike, Well, I'm not sure what I do.
- 47:00Speaker 2: The Warriors play Friday night. Wow, that'll be It's a
- 47:04Speaker 2: bit devastating because it is Shawn Johnson's last game.
- 47:07Speaker 3: Game.
- 47:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't get to see it. I went to
- 47:10Speaker 2: Mannering three hundred, so it is said. But yeah, I mean,
- 47:14Speaker 2: we're just not going to be there, So I'll be
- 47:15Speaker 2: watching it on screen, watching the boys get pumped on
- 47:17Speaker 2: the older Telly there throwing my teeth fell. Hey, what's
- 47:22Speaker 2: the Brewery of the day again, Keesy? Was that because
- 47:25Speaker 2: we got interrupted there?
- 47:27Speaker 5: This Brewery of the day? Yeah, Oh, today's Brewery of
- 47:30Speaker 5: the day is mean doses, mean doses, mean doses. Yeah,
- 47:34Speaker 5: And the reason I couldn't say it, right is because
- 47:36Speaker 5: it's created by Dean Moses Oh and brewery boss Kerry.
- 47:41Speaker 5: They were just regular blokes until twenty eighteen feelers when
