- 0:09Speaker 1: Hey, what's going on? Everybody?
- 0:10Speaker 2: Welcome into another episode of to check Odaly. It's Andrew
- 0:14Speaker 2: de Checko here, Eagles beat reporter for insidethebirds dot Com.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Now today's topic.
- 0:19Speaker 2: I was thinking of doing the Eagles twenty twenty six
- 0:23Speaker 2: draft pick that was going to have the biggest impact
- 0:25Speaker 2: this season, but I think it's pretty clear that that
- 0:27Speaker 2: would be McKay Lemon. There's not anyone else that would
- 0:30Speaker 2: really be in contention. So instead I'm gonna pivot go
- 0:34Speaker 2: through the draft picks and try to determine their projected
- 0:38Speaker 2: roles entering the twenty twenty sixth season. Okay, so that
- 0:42Speaker 2: brings us to McKay Lemon, who the Eagles drafted.
- 0:48Speaker 1: In the first round.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Of course, and you know, with McKay lemon, it's pretty
- 0:55Speaker 2: clear that he's going to be one of the Eagles'
- 0:57Speaker 2: top two receivers this season.
- 0:59Speaker 1: And DeVante's leads the way.
- 1:01Speaker 2: But mackay Lemon, if he doesn't begin as the number two,
- 1:04Speaker 2: I believe that he will eventually become the un questioned too.
- 1:07Speaker 2: Now context is important here because makaye Lemon missed some
- 1:12Speaker 2: valuable time during spring practices because he had the hamstring injury,
- 1:16Speaker 2: and while he was getting those mental reps, which is
- 1:18Speaker 2: hugely important, it's not the same as being on the field,
- 1:23Speaker 2: going through the motions and being corrected and coached on
- 1:27Speaker 2: the fly, so that needs to be taken into account.
- 1:30Speaker 2: But everything that I've gathered about mackay Lemon suggests that
- 1:34Speaker 2: he's a fast learner. He's coming from a system at
- 1:38Speaker 2: USC where he had to do some different things, so
- 1:40Speaker 2: it's not like all of a sudden he's being exposed
- 1:43Speaker 2: to a durssically different route tree and has to master that.
- 1:48Speaker 2: One of his strengths is route running and being technically
- 1:54Speaker 2: savvy in that area.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Landmarks are something.
- 1:56Speaker 2: That he has really been able to master and that
- 2:00Speaker 2: should elicit trust from Jalen Hurts. But we'll have to
- 2:05Speaker 2: see how he begins training camp, and it could be
- 2:08Speaker 2: a little bit of a slow burn, or he could
- 2:10Speaker 2: hit the ground running.
- 2:11Speaker 1: It all depends.
- 2:12Speaker 2: But wide receiver is a tricky position to learn as
- 2:16Speaker 2: a rookie, and certainly I would imagine in this offense
- 2:20Speaker 2: where details are paramount, and that was never more evident
- 2:24Speaker 2: than when Dontavian Wick sort of outlined what it takes
- 2:27Speaker 2: to be an effective receiver in this kind of an offense,
- 2:30Speaker 2: and he highlighted the details, and it's not something that
- 2:33Speaker 2: you can kind of just bank on talent or anything
- 2:36Speaker 2: like that.
- 2:36Speaker 1: You have to really be skilled and.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Really nuanced and how you approach it and how you
- 2:44Speaker 2: attack it and your role in that and where you
- 2:47Speaker 2: line up and different things. You can throw off an
- 2:49Speaker 2: entire play if you're not lined up properly or if
- 2:53Speaker 2: you're just even.
- 2:54Speaker 1: A hair off.
- 2:55Speaker 2: So for me, that's where my questions really are with
- 2:58Speaker 2: makay Lemon mastering the finer intricacies of the receiver position
- 3:03Speaker 2: within the context of this offense. But once you put
- 3:06Speaker 2: all that aside, his natural ability is eventually going to
- 3:10Speaker 2: take over, and in a true West Coast offense, which
- 3:13Speaker 2: this is, you're going to see him really thrive as
- 3:16Speaker 2: an interior receiver, someone who can work the short to
- 3:20Speaker 2: intermediate levels, create yards after the catch. He will go
- 3:24Speaker 2: up there and fight for the football. He's never shied
- 3:27Speaker 2: away from fighting for the ball in traffic. And so
- 3:30Speaker 2: you couple all of those things together, and I would
- 3:33Speaker 2: imagine that in another offense where it's more of a
- 3:37Speaker 2: high volume passing offense, he would be a volume based
- 3:39Speaker 2: receiver all that said, I still think he's going to
- 3:43Speaker 2: finish with the second most targets and receptions from this
- 3:47Speaker 2: receiving group behind Davonte Smith, with Dantavian Wicks coming in
- 3:52Speaker 2: as the third option. So that's kind of the way
- 3:56Speaker 2: that I'm foreseeing Makai Lemon, and I'm very much looking
- 3:58Speaker 2: forward to watching him in training camp, especially in the
- 4:02Speaker 2: one on one matchups where route running, precision and some
- 4:06Speaker 2: of the craftiness that I think he brings to the
- 4:09Speaker 2: table will be fascinating to see when he's going up
- 4:12Speaker 2: against someone like a Rake Wohen at six foot four
- 4:16Speaker 2: with Mackay Lemon being whatever he is five to eleven.
- 4:20Speaker 1: So that's something that I'll.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Certainly be keeping an eye on and very much looking
- 4:24Speaker 2: forward to. In the second round, pick number fifty four,
- 4:26Speaker 2: the Eagles took tight end Eli Stowers at a Vanderbilt
- 4:30Speaker 2: and Eli Stowers along with Uar Bernard. I've gone on
- 4:34Speaker 2: record saying there are the two picks that I like
- 4:38Speaker 2: the most for the Eagles because Stowers was a player
- 4:41Speaker 2: that I was immensely high on for a couple of
- 4:43Speaker 2: seasons at the.
- 4:45Speaker 1: College football level.
- 4:46Speaker 2: I like his ability to be able to line up
- 4:50Speaker 2: at different spots, including the X spot, where I think
- 4:53Speaker 2: the Eagles could deploy him occasionally.
- 4:56Speaker 1: And while he's still a work in progress as.
- 4:58Speaker 2: A blocker, which I ultimately think think is going to
- 5:01Speaker 2: limit his overall effect inness and probably reduce some of
- 5:04Speaker 2: his snaps this season, he does have an immense athletic
- 5:08Speaker 2: profile where he can be a three level threat even
- 5:12Speaker 2: though he's not a proficient blocker. I would have to
- 5:14Speaker 2: imagine that the Eagles are going to find ways to
- 5:16Speaker 2: get him onto the field, find creative ways to get
- 5:18Speaker 2: the ball in his hands, and let the natural athleticism
- 5:21Speaker 2: take over. That being said, I still think he will
- 5:24Speaker 2: be sporadically worked in. I don't envision a hefty workload
- 5:28Speaker 2: for Stours in year one, but then things stand to
- 5:31Speaker 2: change in his second season, where that's where I'm expecting
- 5:36Speaker 2: the passing of the proverbial baton from Dallas god Or
- 5:40Speaker 2: to Eli Stowers and that's really where you're going to
- 5:42Speaker 2: see him take his game to another level. But with
- 5:44Speaker 2: the player that talented and where you drafted him in
- 5:47Speaker 2: the second round, there's going to be a role for him,
- 5:50Speaker 2: but I don't know that it will be in the
- 5:51Speaker 2: traditional sense. I imagine that You're going to find ways to
- 5:55Speaker 2: align him around the formations, find ways to create advantageous
- 6:01Speaker 2: matchups that he can that really accentuate Stours' ability to win.
- 6:06Speaker 2: And he does have a route running prowess, he does
- 6:10Speaker 2: have really good ball skills, and.
- 6:12Speaker 1: He's dynamic in space.
- 6:14Speaker 2: So I don't think I know that he's technically the
- 6:18Speaker 2: number two tight end. I believe that will be Johnny
- 6:20Speaker 2: Munt because Johnny Munt allows the Eagles to do some
- 6:23Speaker 2: different things and he's a very, very sound blocker, which
- 6:28Speaker 2: is going to be essential in this offense. And if
- 6:31Speaker 2: you look back on any of the successful offenses with
- 6:35Speaker 2: the influences that Sean Mannion is coming in with, whether
- 6:37Speaker 2: it's Sean McVay, Kyle Shanahan, all those had really exceptional
- 6:43Speaker 2: blockers in some area of their tight end room. Maybe
- 6:49Speaker 2: they weren't necessarily the starters, but George Kittle, for example,
- 6:51Speaker 2: really good blocker. And Tucker Craft is a depth at
- 6:58Speaker 2: blocking as well. And so Dallas Goddard big question there
- 7:01Speaker 2: because he regressed pretty significantly as a blocker, so he's
- 7:06Speaker 2: he's going to have to rebound a little bit. You'd
- 7:08Speaker 2: like to see him rebound a little bit to give
- 7:10Speaker 2: the Eagles a little bit more of a well rounded
- 7:12Speaker 2: option there. But Johnny Munt, to me, is going to
- 7:15Speaker 2: take on more of a workload than Stours just because
- 7:19Speaker 2: there's a defined role for him, and I believe that
- 7:22Speaker 2: he's going to be really key in the running game
- 7:26Speaker 2: this season, whereas I see Stours as a situational receiving
- 7:31Speaker 2: option that the Eagles will look to exploit some different
- 7:36Speaker 2: matchups that work in his favor in the offensive favor.
- 7:39Speaker 1: But that's my projection right now for Eli Stowers.
- 7:45Speaker 2: As a rookie third round pick pick sixty eight, Markel
- 7:48Speaker 2: Bell out of Miami. The Eagles have Fred Johnson at
- 7:51Speaker 2: offensive tackle. They have.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Not much behind Fred Johnson, So Markel.
- 7:59Speaker 2: Bell is a player that I know that a lot
- 8:01Speaker 2: of folks are eager to see on the field, especially
- 8:04Speaker 2: in the preseason where he stands to get a lot
- 8:06Speaker 2: of work. But I view him as someone who still
- 8:09Speaker 2: needs a little bit more seasoning.
- 8:10Speaker 1: He's not quite ready yet.
- 8:13Speaker 2: That could change in training camp depending on how he performs.
- 8:15Speaker 2: The team's clearly high on him, and I do believe
- 8:18Speaker 2: that he carries significant upside, but sometimes the developmental piece
- 8:23Speaker 2: takes a little bit of time. Maybe he's a year
- 8:25Speaker 2: away from being the Fred Johnson of next season, or
- 8:29Speaker 2: potentially a starter, depending on what happens or what Lane
- 8:32Speaker 2: Johnson decides to do next season. But right now, knowing
- 8:36Speaker 2: that you have Fred Johnson and he's signed to a
- 8:38Speaker 2: one year deal, he's going to be your swing.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Tackle on game day. Barring something unforeseen, maybe Mark L.
- 8:44Speaker 2: Bell lights it up and all of a sudden, Fred
- 8:46Speaker 2: Johnson becomes potentially expendable. But I just think Fred carries
- 8:50Speaker 2: a lot of value for this season where the window
- 8:53Speaker 2: is open, and I think he solidifies that role in
- 9:00Speaker 2: the immediacy, whereas Markel Bell is sort of a player
- 9:03Speaker 2: with the eye towards the future.
- 9:06Speaker 1: But I don't think you'll see much of MARKL.
- 9:08Speaker 2: Bell. Maybe in the A season finale or something like that,
- 9:13Speaker 2: but it would obviously take quite a bit of attrition
- 9:16Speaker 2: for him to see the field in the regular season,
- 9:18Speaker 2: unless there's just some blowouts and you.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Want to try to get your rookie some opportunities there.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Fifth round picked number one, seventy eight Cole Peyton out
- 9:27Speaker 2: of North Dakota State.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Cole Peyton's going to have to battle to make the.
- 9:31Speaker 2: Roster to be clear and if he's able to put
- 9:35Speaker 2: together enough enough I guess of a sample size in
- 9:42Speaker 2: the preseason that suggests to the Eagles that they might
- 9:45Speaker 2: have something there and they don't want to exploit him
- 9:47Speaker 2: or expose him to waivers, then he would be the
- 9:50Speaker 2: number three quarterback. But I look at Kyle McCord last
- 9:53Speaker 2: season when training camp rolled around, he wasn't overly effective.
- 9:59Speaker 2: In fact that he there were many practices where he
- 10:02Speaker 2: had to question whether or not he belonged, and then
- 10:04Speaker 2: he made the practice squad and then was ultimately signed
- 10:08Speaker 2: to a futures deal by the Green Bay Packers. I
- 10:10Speaker 2: think Cole Payton is a much more intriguing prospect and
- 10:13Speaker 2: offers something different that Kyle McCord wasn't able to. He's
- 10:19Speaker 2: more of a traditional quarterback, whereas Cole Payton has some
- 10:22Speaker 2: athletics athleticism and you might be able to turn him
- 10:26Speaker 2: loose in the way that Taysom Hill was able to
- 10:28Speaker 2: affect the Saints' offense.
- 10:29Speaker 1: But I still think we're not there yet.
- 10:31Speaker 2: He's got to be able to demonstrate consistency in camp,
- 10:35Speaker 2: show signs of growth as a passer and mechanically in
- 10:39Speaker 2: order to make the roster, but I still have a
- 10:41Speaker 2: hard time envisioning the Eagles carrying both Tanner McKee and
- 10:44Speaker 2: Andy Dalton, both players you would think have some value,
- 10:49Speaker 2: especially for a team that maybe isn't enthused with their
- 10:51Speaker 2: depth at quarterback or maybe there's an injury. So I
- 10:54Speaker 2: think from that perspective, maybe it's a Tanner McKee who.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Has more value.
- 10:58Speaker 2: I would imagine that Andy Dalton, and I think in
- 11:01Speaker 2: that case, Cole Peyton would slide in as the number three.
- 11:04Speaker 2: But he was always going to be a little bit
- 11:06Speaker 2: of a project, if you will. He wasn't a clean
- 11:11Speaker 2: prospect where the mechanics were sound, and he was someone
- 11:14Speaker 2: who was able to you can plug him right in
- 11:16Speaker 2: and he's going to be able to orchestrate an NFL offense.
- 11:20Speaker 2: But it's hard to look past those athletic qualities that
- 11:24Speaker 2: I think separate him from a lot of the quarterbacks
- 11:26Speaker 2: that were drafted on Day three. And because of that,
- 11:29Speaker 2: you don't want to run the risk of losing that
- 11:31Speaker 2: player off waivers, and the Eagles have been a team
- 11:34Speaker 2: that typically doesn't like to part with their draft picks prematurely.
- 11:37Speaker 2: They want to give them the opportunity to continue to
- 11:41Speaker 2: work with the coaching staff and develop.
- 11:43Speaker 1: So I think Colt Peyton sticks as the number three.
- 11:46Speaker 2: But other than that, I don't really foresee a path
- 11:49Speaker 2: to playing time even in the season finale. But maybe
- 11:55Speaker 2: you can get him a quarter in that case, but
- 11:57Speaker 2: we're getting way ahead of ourselves.
- 11:59Speaker 1: I think he's going to be the number three quarterback
- 12:01Speaker 1: and that.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Will buy and large be his role in twenty twenty six,
- 12:04Speaker 2: six round, pick two oh seven Michael Morris out of Georgia.
- 12:09Speaker 2: So Michael Morris is a player that you would think
- 12:13Speaker 2: has a pretty good shot at making the team. The
- 12:15Speaker 2: Eagles don't have a lot of interior depth along the
- 12:19Speaker 2: offensive line. Now he's a Day three pick, so there's
- 12:23Speaker 2: some projection there. But I like what I saw from
- 12:26Speaker 2: him on tape at Georgia. He can play either guard spot,
- 12:29Speaker 2: so there's some appeal there. Strong player, moves really well
- 12:34Speaker 2: for his size, and he strikes me as a player
- 12:37Speaker 2: that coming from Georgia, knowing his athletic profile, those kind
- 12:42Speaker 2: of players typically team sniff around on the waiver wire
- 12:46Speaker 2: for someone like that, And with Chris Cooper now with
- 12:49Speaker 2: the Helm I just get the sense that as they
- 12:52Speaker 2: continue to cross train him, he's going to have some
- 12:54Speaker 2: value there and they're gonna want to work with him
- 12:56Speaker 2: throughout the season, and he'll likely be an active on
- 12:59Speaker 2: game days, but I think he's someone that they want
- 13:02Speaker 2: to continue to work with. And that's all assuming that
- 13:07Speaker 2: he performs well enough in training camp to warrant a
- 13:10Speaker 2: roster spot in the seventh round, pick two forty four
- 13:14Speaker 2: safety Cole was Nwski from Texas Tech. Cole was Nuski
- 13:18Speaker 2: is another player who's going to have to make the team.
- 13:20Speaker 2: Right now, I have him sticking as the fourth safety,
- 13:23Speaker 2: but he didn't really participate all that much in team
- 13:25Speaker 2: drills for most of the open practices to reporters, and.
- 13:32Speaker 1: I like his size at six three two twenty.
- 13:34Speaker 2: He profiles to me as someone who I think would
- 13:37Speaker 2: be an effective gunner certainly someone who can be a
- 13:40Speaker 2: mainstay on special teams. But he's going to have to
- 13:44Speaker 2: outperform the likes of and Andre Sam who's now going
- 13:47Speaker 2: into his third season in this defense, and players like that,
- 13:52Speaker 2: Maximus Pulley at undrafted free agent Kapina Gushikin, who's an
- 13:56Speaker 2: undersized player who gives you nickelback in safety versatility.
- 14:00Speaker 1: So it's not necessarily a slam dunk that Cole was
- 14:04Speaker 1: newsgame makes it.
- 14:05Speaker 2: But all things being equal, I think that you have
- 14:09Speaker 2: to tip your you know, I think it tips in
- 14:12Speaker 2: the favor of the draft pick. But I think he's
- 14:15Speaker 2: more of a special team's standout forth safety and someone
- 14:20Speaker 2: who I think will be someone who can become an
- 14:23Speaker 2: ace for Michael Clay assuming he makes the roster. But
- 14:27Speaker 2: I think right now, as I mentioned, all things being equal,
- 14:30Speaker 2: I would imagine that that he has the inside.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Track at a spot.
- 14:35Speaker 2: Who are Bernard defensive tackle out of Nigeria. Great story,
- 14:39Speaker 2: It's been well told at this point.
- 14:42Speaker 1: I've written about him at least a few times, but.
- 14:46Speaker 2: Not someone that I expect to contribute for a couple
- 14:49Speaker 2: of seasons. It's going to take some time for him
- 14:51Speaker 2: to learn the game. He's going to be pretty much
- 14:54Speaker 2: attached to the hip of defensive line coach Clint Hurt
- 14:58Speaker 2: and mastering the the details of his position, continuing to
- 15:03Speaker 2: if you can believe it or not, hit the weight
- 15:04Speaker 2: room and get even stronger and just learn a lot
- 15:09Speaker 2: of the things that the players that he'll be going
- 15:11Speaker 2: will be in the room with this season have been
- 15:15Speaker 2: doing since they were very young. And he's behind the
- 15:19Speaker 2: eight ball a little bit, and the learning curve should
- 15:21Speaker 2: be pretty steep. It's not always going to be as
- 15:23Speaker 2: seamless as one would expect.
- 15:26Speaker 1: And it took Jordan Mailatta.
- 15:28Speaker 2: A few years before he was really able to enter
- 15:30Speaker 2: the picture in a meaningful way. And the Eagles saw
- 15:34Speaker 2: the ability in my Lota they kept him on the
- 15:35Speaker 2: roster in twenty eighteen, and I imagine the Eagles are
- 15:39Speaker 2: going to do the exact same thing with Bernard, knowing
- 15:42Speaker 2: how much buzz there is around him. He's twenty one
- 15:44Speaker 2: years old, six percent body fat. He was a sensation
- 15:49Speaker 2: coming off that Pro Day and one of the.
- 15:51Speaker 1: True feel good stories of Day three.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Players like that, and I think a lot of times
- 15:56Speaker 2: this gets overblown. Players like that would likely garner some
- 16:00Speaker 2: attention on the waiver wire, when in reality, a lot
- 16:02Speaker 2: of players really don't. I know that there's a lot
- 16:04Speaker 2: of widespread fear that their favorite player or training camp
- 16:08Speaker 2: star is going to get clean.
- 16:09Speaker 1: That doesn't always happen.
- 16:10Speaker 2: But I think with Bernard, all it takes is one
- 16:12Speaker 2: team to believe that they are the organization that could
- 16:15Speaker 2: see it through and tap into something. And the Eagles
- 16:19Speaker 2: knew that this was going to be a process. When
- 16:21Speaker 2: they drafted them, that was understood. They're going to support them,
- 16:23Speaker 2: They're going to rally around them, and they are committed
- 16:26Speaker 2: to seeing this through, just like who are Bernard is?
- 16:29Speaker 2: I believe he makes the fifty three and is weekly
- 16:32Speaker 2: inactive as he continues to learn the game, and you
- 16:35Speaker 2: can't put a price on how important it's going to
- 16:37Speaker 2: be for him to be in the room with Clint
- 16:39Speaker 2: Hurt and the defensive lineman throughout the season, be on
- 16:41Speaker 2: the practice.
- 16:42Speaker 1: Field, and just continue to grow.
- 16:46Speaker 2: So I don't think you'll see him on the football
- 16:48Speaker 2: field for probably two seasons if ever. But you know,
- 16:53Speaker 2: not every story pans out the way that Jordan Malattis did.
- 16:56Speaker 1: That's often the exception, not the rule.
- 16:58Speaker 2: But I can tell you that there's a lot of
- 17:00Speaker 2: optimism that uor Bernard and the coaching staff that they
- 17:05Speaker 2: have and the support system that they have are going
- 17:08Speaker 2: to do everything in their power to make sure that
- 17:10Speaker 2: this turns out favorably for both the organization and or
- 17:15Speaker 2: or Bernard. Seventh round, pick two fifty two is re
- 17:18Speaker 2: wrap things up outside linebacker key Shawn James Nuby out
- 17:21Speaker 2: of New Mexico, another player where the odds are stacked
- 17:25Speaker 2: considerably against him from a numbers perspective.
- 17:29Speaker 1: That changes when you.
- 17:30Speaker 2: Get on the field and you know it's it's a
- 17:33Speaker 2: clean slate and everyone's trying to make their mark. But
- 17:36Speaker 2: the Eagles did sign edge rusher aj Apanessa, who has
- 17:39Speaker 2: ninety one games of experience nineteen starts, was a second
- 17:43Speaker 2: round pick in twenty twenty, so he already comes into
- 17:47Speaker 2: the situation, the battle, if you will, with a leg up,
- 17:50Speaker 2: assuming he's healthy and everything checks out there. But you
- 17:56Speaker 2: also have well, you no longer have Joe try On
- 18:00Speaker 2: sru Yinka, but you have Jose Ramirez as well. And
- 18:03Speaker 2: he's a player that's played in four games, he's played
- 18:06Speaker 2: in the Canadian League.
- 18:07Speaker 1: He's played I believe with either of them, maybe.
- 18:10Speaker 2: The Buccaneers, But I think right now the inside track
- 18:15Speaker 2: that's that's aj Epanessa, And I think Keyshawn James Newby's
- 18:19Speaker 2: a little uefairly become an afterthought, someone who's already been
- 18:24Speaker 2: written off largely before he's really been given an opportunity
- 18:28Speaker 2: to go out there on the field and try to
- 18:32Speaker 2: make his mark or convince the coaches that he deserves
- 18:35Speaker 2: a longer look.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Reps are going to be extremely limited for him.
- 18:39Speaker 2: As they are for most players that are towards the
- 18:41Speaker 2: bottom of the totem pole.
- 18:43Speaker 1: So it's up to him to make the most of it.
- 18:45Speaker 2: And then when you go into the preseason games, you
- 18:47Speaker 2: have to approach that with a hunger and an aggressiveness
- 18:53Speaker 2: and a sort of a take no prisoner's mentality, where
- 18:57Speaker 2: this is your livelihood.
- 18:58Speaker 1: You have to go out there and you.
- 18:59Speaker 2: Have to attack it and make sure that they remember
- 19:02Speaker 2: your name when they're going back there and watching the film.
- 19:05Speaker 1: And so.
- 19:07Speaker 2: It's still too early to roll him out. He is
- 19:10Speaker 2: a long shot, to be clear. He would likely have
- 19:12Speaker 2: to fulfill a Patrick Johnson like role and help on
- 19:15Speaker 2: special teams to stick. But you know, there's also the
- 19:19Speaker 2: possibility of you know, who knows. The Eagles have never
- 19:23Speaker 2: been a team to close the door on a Brandon
- 19:25Speaker 2: Graham situation as well, so there's avenues that they could
- 19:29Speaker 2: go so you could quickly see why he's sort of
- 19:32Speaker 2: on the outside looking in.
- 19:34Speaker 3: Hey, Philly fans. Game day is stressful enough, parking traffic,
- 19:38Speaker 3: long lines, We've all been there, But when it comes
- 19:41Speaker 3: to your cannabis, Camden Apothecary makes it easy This is
- 19:45Speaker 3: the dispensary for sports fans, just minutes outside of Philly,
- 19:50Speaker 3: with plenty of free parking.
- 19:51Speaker 1: You'll be in and out.
- 19:52Speaker 3: Fast, no hassle, no waiting, and they don't just care
- 19:55Speaker 3: about convenience. Camden Apothecary is all about the guests experience.
- 20:00Speaker 3: Their staff makes sure you feel taken care of every
- 20:04Speaker 3: time you walk in. Plus, they carry only the best
- 20:07Speaker 3: quality cannabis at the fairest prices, so whether you're stocking
- 20:11Speaker 3: up for the tailgate, the watch party, or celebrating a
- 20:14Speaker 3: big win, you know you're getting the good stuff without overpaying.
- 20:19Speaker 3: They even show love to the community with specials for fans, students,
- 20:23Speaker 3: service members, and healthcare pros. Canned in Apothecary. Top quality cannabis,
- 20:29Speaker 3: great prices, and an experience made for Philly fans twenty
- 20:32Speaker 3: one and up.
- 20:33Speaker 2: But he's a player that I'll be keeping an eye on,
- 20:36Speaker 2: especially during one on ones. He's a leaner type of
- 20:38Speaker 2: pass rusher. He's a speed guy, and how is he
- 20:42Speaker 2: going to be able to handle the power and the
- 20:44Speaker 2: physicality that you need to combat some of these athletic
- 20:47Speaker 2: offensive tackles that just have this.
- 20:51Speaker 1: This enormous you know, size and strength.
- 20:54Speaker 2: This is a whole different ballgame than what he's coming in,
- 20:57Speaker 2: you know, accustomed to, So a huge question shemark there
- 21:01Speaker 2: as to how he'll be able to I guess quit
- 21:06Speaker 2: himself with the opportunities that he does get. And right
- 21:09Speaker 2: now I would lean towards him not making the roster, but.
- 21:14Speaker 1: I think you need to see.
- 21:15Speaker 2: More and in order to be able to paint a
- 21:19Speaker 2: clearer picture. But that's the way that I'm envisioning all
- 21:21Speaker 2: of these draft picks entering training camp, and it's always
- 21:27Speaker 2: subject to change based off of practice and how things go.
- 21:30Speaker 2: But right now, based off of the information that I've
- 21:32Speaker 2: gathered and the college film that I've watched of these
- 21:36Speaker 2: players and knowing the Eagles roster the way that I do,
- 21:40Speaker 2: that's kind of the way that I that I have
- 21:43Speaker 2: everything mapped out at the moment.
- 21:45Speaker 1: But things can change. We'll see what happens.
- 21:49Speaker 2: Training camp, by the way, is a month away, so
- 21:52Speaker 2: very exciting stuff coming down the pike and football we'll
- 21:56Speaker 2: be back before you know it. That's going to do
- 21:58Speaker 2: it for this episode of to Check. I'm Andrew de Checo,
- 22:01Speaker 2: and I'll catch you all on the next one.
