- 0:00Welcome to World View Matters, discussing controversial issues, discerning current events,
- 0:10defending biblical Christianity, no topic, off limits.
- 0:16And now, here's your host, David Firazzo.
- 0:20Welcome to another podcast.
- 0:22It's a family month, or what are some people are doing in June this month?
- 0:28They're replacing the pride month, they're trying to focus on promoting family, natural
- 0:33marriage, between one man and one woman, fidelity, things like that.
- 0:38So I appreciate all those creative ways that, I mean, we should have been celebrating that
- 0:42all along, but we got interrupted many decades ago.
- 0:45And that's what we're going to talk about today with the guests, our guest today, David
- 0:49Bowen, and his website is interpreting the times.com, interpreting the times.com, he's
- 0:54a pastor, he's a writer, he's a supporter of Israel.
- 0:57We've had him on many times, and he's just, his views are great, his articles are very,
- 1:03very helpful as to what we're going through.
- 1:05So I want to bring him on now and talk about what's happening this month of June.
- 1:10David, good to see you, brother.
- 1:12David, thanks for inviting me, it's always a joy to be on your show.
- 1:15Thanks.
- 1:16So you've got an article called Sodom and Gamora 2.0.
- 1:20So we're going to get to that, yeah, we're going to get to that in 2.0 minutes.
- 1:25So also, you've got one on tolerance, I do want to mention that because in my mind,
- 1:30they kind of go together, the new global religion of tolerance, but the idea of the church
- 1:36and our role in society and tolerating sin, or what the Bible says is sin, we're going
- 1:42to talk about that.
- 1:43But I want to mention some good news right off the bat.
- 1:45I heard about this through Libs of TikTok.
- 1:49Justin was going to hold a huge event, a trans-period pride.
- 1:55What does that mean?
- 1:57Well, Boston Mayor Michelle Wu's Office of LGBTQ Advancement was scheduled to hold a
- 2:05trans-period pride event to discuss menstrual equity and the experiences of transgender
- 2:14menstruators.
- 2:15I'm not making this up.
- 2:17There it is.
- 2:18That was the promotion of a trans-period pride.
- 2:21It was going to be June 17th.
- 2:24As you said, David, they're going after young people and trying to promote this perversion.
- 2:28But according to Libs of TikTok, the event has been canceled by the library following backlash.
- 2:38So praise God, and I've heard there is more of this happening around the country where
- 2:43families, conservatives, Christians, and just people who think this is just delusion
- 2:49and ridiculous, speaking up.
- 2:51David, your thoughts on this battle, I don't think is going to go away.
- 2:55Well, we're just about a week and a half into June, so it didn't take long for the headlines
- 3:00to come out.
- 3:01In fact, I did an article on the video last week, early in the month of June, because retailers
- 3:06are already back and off.
- 3:09In particular, they were in the Biden administration in 2023, Target was really pushing the gay pride
- 3:16stuff, the pride, the whole month of June, to kids and toddlers.
- 3:20And now they've taken off, the clothing's not there, the advertiser's not there, on their
- 3:23website's not prevalent, same thing for Walmart, same thing for things like CBS.
- 3:28So the retailers are saying that consumers are saying they don't want this.
- 3:32So they're respecting the preference, quote, respecting the preference of the consumers
- 3:36and they're not advertising and selling pride stuff during the month of June.
- 3:41So that was pretty interesting, I see that, and a lot of the professional sports will
- 3:45also get behind and have pride days and pride events, majorly based on all this 30 teams,
- 3:51one team has not signed on on that, the Texas Rangers.
- 3:55So they backed off from that, and hockey, hockey was very much into pride days, and now
- 4:00you got Minnesota, the New York Rangers, and the Chicago Black Cocks, who are backing
- 4:04off as well.
- 4:06You've got retail, you've got professional sports, they're saying, wait a minute, you
- 4:09know what, people really aren't as excited about this, and welcoming as this as we thought.
- 4:14So things are changing in 2026 versus 2023.
- 4:18Yeah, I'm going to emphasize a few things, this professional sports leagues, they have
- 4:22been all in woke, anti-Christian, whatever is against biblical Christianity seemingly.
- 4:28But I do want to mention something else, back in 2016, 2017, I wrote a book called
- 4:33Redefining Truth, and part of that was this transgender movement and the redefinition
- 4:37of truth and biology and all these things.
- 4:40But I wrote about Target because in, that was what, 2017, almost 10 years ago, that's
- 4:47when they started implementing their bathroom policies at Target and putting in the LGBTQ
- 4:53pride sections and all their stores.
- 4:55So I'm glad to hear that they haven't reversed course, biblically, as far as their world
- 5:01view, but they are backing off a little bit on the corporate pride, which I hope they
- 5:06continue to lose money until they take it out completely.
- 5:10One more story, and then when I get to your article, Sodom and Gamora 2.0 and talk about
- 5:14what happened recently in Israel, which is not surprising, but you said they're going
- 5:18after children, and that's true.
- 5:21They cannot reproduce, so they have to recruit.
- 5:23They're going after young children, even before, like grade school, even kindergarten,
- 5:30California is one example of a school district that spends $300,000 to partner with an LGBTQ
- 5:38center.
- 5:39Friends, let me emphasize this.
- 5:41This is not just one state.
- 5:44This is one school district that's partnering with this LGBTQ center to provide affirming
- 5:52programs, resources, and, quote, community care for minors.
- 5:58So this is continuing on, even though some of the corporate world is backing off this agenda
- 6:05David, in schools, not so much.
- 6:08Talk about that for a minute.
- 6:09What's interesting, because schools should be educating our students, correct?
- 6:13And when we get to this month in June, when this topic comes up, or if this topic come
- 6:17up, I just kind of ask people very gently, why is June Pride Month?
- 6:23Why not January or October?
- 6:25Why is June the month that we celebrate Pride?
- 6:28And I am yet to have anybody tell me the answer to that.
- 6:31I know the answer, but I'm yet to have anybody else tell me that.
- 6:34So we are hopping on the bandwagon, not even sure why we're hopping on it, I think.
- 6:38We're just celebrating something without even knowing the history behind it.
- 6:41And I won't take the time here, but it goes back to 1969.
- 6:45June 28, 1969 in New York City, there was some gay bars there, and the police did some
- 6:50crackdowns, because many of the gay bars did not have liquor license, so the police went
- 6:56in there, and one bar in Greenwich Village, they rebelled against it, a riot lasted for
- 7:01seven days, and that's why June now becomes the month.
- 7:04But most people don't know why we celebrate this in June, or why we acknowledge this in
- 7:09June.
- 7:10It's interesting.
- 7:11Yeah.
- 7:12So let's keep moving.
- 7:13Sodom and Gamora 2.0, this was your article a month ago, interpreting the Times.com,
- 7:20we want to mention because of this big event, and it was promoted as the largest LGBTQ
- 7:25gathering held in the Middle East.
- 7:28The organizers constructed a temporary quote, pride city, but explained to us, David Bowen,
- 7:35the significance of this Dead Sea region and the Biblical account.
- 7:39And I think they're just poking God in the eyes, want an expression I've heard.
- 7:43Go ahead.
- 7:44Well, they had.
- 7:45When this first came out, I kind of said, my goodness, I mean, this is Sodom and Gamora.
- 7:49We know how God responded to this type of behavior.
- 7:52And when you go back to the time of luck, because Jesus talked about the days at the end times
- 7:57to be like the days of a lot, the days of knowing the days of a lot, well, the men who came
- 8:01against and wanted to be perverted in the, in when lots household there, it said the
- 8:05men were there both young and old.
- 8:07Well, what is young?
- 8:09So when you say the, in the Jewish culture, 13, you become a man.
- 8:13So do we have 13 or 14 year old kids who are trying to be perverted, you know, with the
- 8:18name, the angel beings with, with lots of what's happening there?
- 8:21The Bible says at age 20 in the Jewish culture, you could be a soldier.
- 8:24So anywhere between 13 and 19, these are still kids to me, especially 13 and 14.
- 8:30So they, the Bible warned that that's taking place.
- 8:33And now you're seeing, again, retailers and what they're doing, why I was so strongly against
- 8:37this, what's happening in Israel, it happened June 1st to June 4th.
- 8:41And they had four days.
- 8:42It was supposed to be, it's got the largest festival they're calling it.
- 8:45It was 24, 7.
- 8:46It was around the clock.
- 8:47They took out all the hotels.
- 8:49They put tents up, but they were focusing on families and kids.
- 8:53They had special things going just for kids.
- 8:56They wanted to doctorate the young kids into the gay and lesbian community.
- 9:01So to me, I said, time out, and that's, that's where I kind of got my, my, my feathers
- 9:06ruffle a little bit.
- 9:07I kind of went more against this saying it.
- 9:08In fact, I kind of publicly, I said, you know what, I've been praying against this.
- 9:13You know, I heard about this, I think, in April.
- 9:16And I started to pray against this saying, Lord, let it be rain or wind or let some kind
- 9:20of chaos happen.
- 9:21Just so the kids are protected down there, because I've been to Israel many times, been leading
- 9:25groups over the ends for almost 20 years.
- 9:28And the Dead Sea, there's one road in there.
- 9:30And there's one major road.
- 9:31And there's a big wadi that goes through there.
- 9:33And if it rains, that flood, and you really can't get to the Dead Sea.
- 9:37So I said, Lord, I just pray that something happens.
- 9:39So that this event is not as successful as the planners are doing, just, just for the sake
- 9:44of the children mostly.
- 9:46So I want to mention the biblical history now and, and talk about Genesis 19.
- 9:51I read an article, by the way, there were five cities destroyed by God due to their rebellion
- 9:56and corruption and perversion.
- 9:58By reading an article, the years ago on biblical archaeology or something, they were digging
- 10:03up, you know, things of that area and what they believed to be, the area around Sodom
- 10:09and Gomorrah.
- 10:10And they found this ash and these different substances that scientifically they could figure
- 10:17out that these things were burned up and it happened quickly, like a meteor or something
- 10:23and they attributed it, of course, to something else and not God.
- 10:27But I found it to be fascinating.
- 10:28So there is evidence.
- 10:30This is a true story.
- 10:31We do believe the whole Bible, France from Genesis to Revelation.
- 10:34So David, talk about the modern day and biblical parallels that you say are striking.
- 10:41I thought that was an interesting part of your bullet points.
- 10:44Well, again, the culture openly celebrating sin.
- 10:47We have a parallel there, which we're doing again today that the world continuing to say
- 10:51everything is normal and accepting things as normal and going about life as if it was
- 10:55normal without looking at the consequences.
- 10:58I'm not being too concerned about their spiritual conditions.
- 11:01Again, another parallel going back to the days of Lot and that area has been confirmed
- 11:06there.
- 11:07In fact, when you're there, you can still smell the sulfur there.
- 11:09But remember, when they went out there, they had a choice, Abraham and Lot, he said,
- 11:14you choose the side you want to go to and Lot picked the greenest, luscious area so
- 11:19we know what it was like and we know what it's like now when God did destroy those five
- 11:24cities.
- 11:25You have parallels of there, you also have a progression as well that's a parallel.
- 11:30Basically you have some prosperity, Lot and Abraham are very wealthy and then you have
- 11:34no pun intended, if you pride is kicking in that they can do it themselves, they're okay.
- 11:38And then you have rebellion, moral rebellion, and then you have judgment.
- 11:42So what we saw in the biblical aspect, we'll also see in today and to see Israel doing
- 11:46this, especially when they're in the time of war and they need God's hand of protection
- 11:51on them more than ever, and to see Israel doing this, the very same sin and the very same
- 11:56spot, knowing how God has responded to it and living as life is normal and everything
- 12:00is okay and bragging about it, that's the pride coming in, bragging, this is going to
- 12:04be the biggest event ever in the Middle East.
- 12:07So let me ask you this, this may be speculation on your part, but do they really know what
- 12:13happened historically and biblically?
- 12:15Do they really know what the Bible teaches on this or do they just not believe it?
- 12:20What are your thoughts?
- 12:22The ones I've talked to, the guides I've had over there who are Jewish and not all of them
- 12:26are Messianic, in fact most of them are not, I do, Dead Sea is on my list, I do a tour
- 12:31and we go down there and they do say that that's Sodom and Gomorrah.
- 12:34So they do understand that, they don't recognize the New Testament obviously, but they do recognize
- 12:39what happened there and they will kind of brush it off, hopefully we learn for a lesson
- 12:44from that and then they would say something like that and then you see a event like this
- 12:47coming back to this.
- 12:49The question is, is this a culture event?
- 12:51If you look at it through normal eyes, you're going to say it's a culture event.
- 12:54If you look at through spiritual eyes, this becomes a prophetic event.
- 12:58So there's a major difference, a culture event and a prophetic event because we have warnings
- 13:03about what's happening.
- 13:04Again, the Bible describes Sodom as being immoral, being defiant, being rebellious, Genesis
- 13:1013, Ezekiel expanded on that and Ezekiel 16 with the warning of that.
- 13:14So God has been very clear in the Old Testament about the warning not to do and we are we
- 13:20living history all over again.
- 13:21So let me now briefly shift over to America, I'm concerned when I see how you you talked
- 13:29about this repeated progression, starting with prosperity and then pride, are we do you
- 13:33think as a nation generally, not necessarily the church, but some of the church, but the
- 13:38nation as a whole are in the place of moral rebellion because we know what comes next.
- 13:45Absolutely.
- 13:46What happens is sin becomes celebrated and righteousness is rejected.
- 13:52So when those two things happen, when we embrace and celebrate sin, encourage sin, and
- 13:58then when we take righteousness and we can flat out reject it and that's where the tolerance
- 14:01comes in, the second article you want to mention is exactly what you're talking about
- 14:07in the parallels with America.
- 14:08We are following in the same path.
- 14:11And I think we will receive the same type of judgment.
- 14:14Patterns of history.
- 14:15I want to emphasize something before we take a brief pause.
- 14:19You say celebration becomes endorsement, endorsement becomes normalization and normalization
- 14:26becomes culture, right?
- 14:29So you say the Dead Sea is a symbol for our time and very interesting how it's called
- 14:37dead for a reason.
- 14:38It's the lowest place on earth, lifeless, unable to sustain living organisms and it stands
- 14:43as a geological witness to destruction.
- 14:46That's pretty clear about what it is historically, but what also we understand it is biblically
- 14:52and why God had to destroy these cities.
- 14:56One more thing.
- 14:57Go ahead, David.
- 14:58Add a tidbit to that.
- 14:59That is interesting.
- 15:00Well, again, I'm over the talking to people who are not who are who Jewish and they only read
- 15:04the Old Testament.
- 15:05And someday the Dead Sea would come back to life and they kind of look at me like, what
- 15:07are you talking about?
- 15:09And I think I said to you, in your Bible, Ezekiel says there will be a time when there will
- 15:13be fish in the sea and people will be fishing there and so on and so forth.
- 15:16And they think it's crazy.
- 15:17They've never read that before and they say, go to your Bible, the Old Testament and they
- 15:20do.
- 15:21And David, what's happening over there now is the Dead Sea is it's having sinkholes everywhere.
- 15:26And these sinkholes can be as large as a bus.
- 15:28I mean, they're huge sinkholes and what they're finding.
- 15:31I did a whole video on this.
- 15:32What they're finding is there are fish, tiny fish actually swimming in the sinkholes.
- 15:37Of course, the end times life is starting to come back to the Dead Sea area and that's
- 15:43that comes back.
- 15:44What does Satan do?
- 15:45He brings in this pride festival and calls it this great celebration.
- 15:48Well, we know he doesn't win in the end, but anyway, friends, the next article we're
- 15:52going to talk about, the redefinition of tolerance and other things with David Bowen.
- 15:59The first guy to remind you that right now, it's that time of year, Freedom Project
- 16:03Academy is enrolling students for the fall.
- 16:06They've been doing this for 16 years.
- 16:08They deliver a fully accredited, classical online education, rooted firmly in Judeo-Christian
- 16:13values for kids in pre-Canagarden through high school.
- 16:17They offer live anytime in homeschool courses to fit your child's needs.
- 16:21Visit freedom4school.com and save 10% when you use the code David.
- 16:27Again, save 10% on tuition when you use the code David.
- 16:31The website again, FreedomFORschool.com and get started.
- 16:37So David, let's talk about tolerance.
- 16:40Your article from the end of May was called or is called the new global religion of tolerance,
- 16:47but we understand if truth has been redefined, we know that tolerance, of course, that's
- 16:52easy.
- 16:53You can redefine tolerance.
- 16:54The question is, how should Christians respond to this idea?
- 17:02We are supposed to be the most tolerant people.
- 17:05Is tolerance loving?
- 17:06Is tolerance always compassionate?
- 17:09Talk to us about that before we dive into your article.
- 17:11Well, again, tolerance becomes now the supreme value or virtue, let's say virtue basically
- 17:18in our culture.
- 17:19What does tolerance mean?
- 17:21That word has changed over the last few decades.
- 17:24It used to mean you would have your opinion, I would have my opinion, we could agree to
- 17:27disagree and be fine.
- 17:29That would be intolerant.
- 17:30Now if you have an opinion and I disagree with you, I am now intolerant.
- 17:34And what happens, the word tolerance has become intolerant if I have a different opinion.
- 17:39So from the biblical standpoint, we have to stay true to the word of God.
- 17:42And that's where some of the persecution comes in, that's where some of the hate speech
- 17:48that we're accused of basically, I mean, what is hate speech?
- 17:51When you have ethics over truth because they will use the ethic, you know, well, you
- 17:55have to have ethical points and you have to be accepting of everybody.
- 17:59And then you have unity over doctrine, what we believe, that leads to faith without repentance.
- 18:05That leads to unity without truth.
- 18:07And if we don't have truth, we really have unity.
- 18:10So we have to stay true to the biblical text.
- 18:13So here are a few questions or thoughts that you can expound on as we talk more about
- 18:18this, David.
- 18:20Last civilizations offer a warning about where our culture is headed.
- 18:25We know that.
- 18:26We just talked about it in your first article, Biblically, and patterns.
- 18:31But what can we learn from history in America?
- 18:35What can we learn and are we willing and when I say we, maybe I'm talking about the church
- 18:41because people that aren't saved are that unbelievers, it's not on their radar.
- 18:45They don't care.
- 18:47You know, want to talk about patterns of history or they don't get the warnings, but the
- 18:51church should.
- 18:53But before it's too late, will the church repent and wake up and is that necessary in
- 18:59your eyes?
- 19:00Well, brother, you're talking to a pastor as well.
- 19:03So my heart is with the church and I hope that I pray that the church does wake up.
- 19:08I think we have that opportunity now.
- 19:11But when you look around, spiritual eyes and ears are closed.
- 19:15And it's just we're getting to that point with the Bible talked about with the remnant.
- 19:19I believe we're getting close to that remnant stage.
- 19:21And I think we're even seen in the church when you get to apostate, what's that mean?
- 19:26It's not just people walking away and quitting church.
- 19:29It's people not living out biblical practices and living out biblical principles.
- 19:34So to adapt to the culture and say, this is what the culture is accepting.
- 19:39So to be accepting to the world, to be seen as loving and to be seen as Christian to
- 19:42the world, that I have to act and believe this way.
- 19:46And I recently had a friend who went to a wedding and she doesn't drink.
- 19:51I almost say Reese says a couple years ago, she doesn't drink, but she went to the wedding
- 19:54and she had a few drinks.
- 19:56And to her, she ruined her witness to all her family because now they saw her doing
- 20:00this.
- 20:01I thought you were a Christian.
- 20:02And we talked about it.
- 20:03I said, you know, if you go back and have sorrow and repent over that, your faith is
- 20:07going to be seen as real.
- 20:09And she did that.
- 20:10And that's exactly happening.
- 20:11And they go, that really did bother you because to the herd, you're having a few drinks
- 20:13or people having a few drinks, but nothing to them, but for her to come back and say, I
- 20:18shouldn't have done that.
- 20:19That bothered me.
- 20:20I have sorrow over it.
- 20:21It made her faith become real.
- 20:23So when we look at the world that's accepting, you know, these virtues and these ethics as
- 20:28being tolerant, when we say, wait a minute, this is not really what love is.
- 20:31This is not what acceptance is.
- 20:33This is not in your best interest.
- 20:36Then it becomes real.
- 20:37Hopefully that's how the church can respond to it.
- 20:39I want to mention, we were talking before we got on the podcast, David and I were talking
- 20:43about Dictionary definitions.
- 20:46And one of them, one of my go-tos is Webster's 1828 Dictionary Market, guys, Webster's 1828.
- 20:56And here's the definition then of tolerance, very, very simple, but you're going to be surprised.
- 21:02This from the Latin, it's a noun.
- 21:03It says to bear the power or capacity of enduring or the act of enduring.
- 21:12Does that say anything about approving of things that you believe are wrong?
- 21:20Does it say anything?
- 21:21It's talking about endurance or to bear up under something.
- 21:25Go ahead.
- 21:26Your thoughts, David?
- 21:27Well, how do you have morality without repentance?
- 21:30How do you have spirituality without salvation?
- 21:33And that's very popular.
- 21:35When you look at being a spiritual person, if the universe wills it, that's pantheism.
- 21:39That's not theism.
- 21:40So when you look at unity without truth, really what the truth is, when you look at compassion
- 21:46without conviction, what is compassion?
- 21:49And all these things, again, the conviction, the truth, the salvation, the repentance is
- 21:53the biblical aspect of it.
- 21:55But the secular side of this is the morality, the spirituality, unity, and the compassion.
- 21:59And they use those words like we should understand them, but you can't have it just halfway.
- 22:04So that's where this whole thing gets kind of, gets jumbled up and the church gets confused.
- 22:09Because I do want to have compassion, but how do I have it if I'm not convicted?
- 22:13I do want to have unity, but how do I have it if I don't have truth?
- 22:17Interfaith stuff that's happening all the time, we have to accept and believe everybody,
- 22:21that's part of the tolerance.
- 22:22So if you have a different God or a different belief system or different ethics, how am I
- 22:26showing truth if I come along and say, okay, I will lock arms with you and agree with you?
- 22:31The two can't walk together, you're unequally yoked.
- 22:34So let's talk about three bullet points in your article.
- 22:38This is under tolerance becomes the highest virtue.
- 22:44These are three things, friends, and this is just sobering when you think about this,
- 22:47but David lays it out very clearly.
- 22:49Disagreement becomes hate.
- 22:53Exclusivity becomes dangerous.
- 22:56This is the way the truth and the life.
- 22:57No one comes to the Father except through him that becomes dangerous.
- 23:01And biblical conviction becomes divisive.
- 23:06And that's what's sad when we're talking now back to the church.
- 23:10There are some in the church that don't have a lot of conviction on biblical issues or
- 23:13maybe they're not, they don't agree with certain biblical ideas or teachings or doctrines
- 23:21and they think it's just divisive.
- 23:23Go ahead and share whatever you'd like.
- 23:25Well, that's where people need to really be into the Bible, understand the Bible,
- 23:29because the world will look at this and say, those are the terms that you will feel.
- 23:33So you're a Christian, you're at work, you know, you want to talk to your fellow co-worker
- 23:36or your neighbor and they're calling you divisive, they're calling you hateful,
- 23:40they're calling you uncompassionate, because that's how the world sees it.
- 23:44And if we don't have a biblical understanding, so the way their church responds
- 23:48is understanding the scripture.
- 23:50And I think we're lacking in that area.
- 23:51As a pastor, I'm lacking, I think we're lacking in that area.
- 23:54I also teach at a Christian university, I teach Christian worldview and many of the
- 23:58students that come in, not all, but many of the students who come in have grown up in
- 24:01the church and David, they don't have a general sense, they don't have a basic foundation
- 24:07of the fundamentals of the faith.
- 24:10So when the world comes and accuses us of being divisive, well, what you're trying to
- 24:13do, you're trying to divide people, you'll be in divisive.
- 24:17They feel guilty about that and they feel like they're doing something wrong.
- 24:20So okay, maybe I need to be acceptance.
- 24:23So again, where is the truth in that?
- 24:25Where is being unequally yoked?
- 24:26How do you come along and tell them the gospel is the only way?
- 24:30So that is divisive, that is what the way the gospel is designed, but it's for the best
- 24:36interest and for the most loving thing we can do for eternal life.
- 24:40So yeah, you will be accused of those things and that's where that whole tolerance and
- 24:43intolerance gets separated and has changed, as you said, over the course.
- 24:47I mean, tolerance is now the supreme virtue.
- 24:52If you're not tolerant, you have no virtue.
- 24:54The gospel is exclusive, but it doesn't the Bible say whosoever will believe God so
- 25:02love the world that He gave His Son that whoever believes whoever.
- 25:06So it's an open invitation, really, but it is exclusive because Jesus is the only way.
- 25:11I want to just have you wrap up in the last couple of minutes, sorry, David Moran, on
- 25:14a time so quickly, but you do talk about this one world spiritual environment and the
- 25:19new global religion of tolerance and what it's going to produce.
- 25:22You talk about different things like interfaith initiatives, Abrahamic faith movements, shared
- 25:26worship services.
- 25:28It's just tell us about the end of your article, maybe a couple of points there before we
- 25:33wrap up.
- 25:34About 15 years ago, you all 15 years ago, Chris Lomb was a big thing where we're taking
- 25:39Islam and Christianity and putting together.
- 25:41We worship the same God.
- 25:43We have the same thing.
- 25:44So Abraham's the father of, you know, that was a big thing about 15 years ago.
- 25:49When you look at that, pantheism and theism, what's the difference?
- 25:52When you pray, do you pray to a personal God?
- 25:54Do you believe that God answers your prayer?
- 25:56Do you believe that God's involved in your life?
- 25:58When you get into pantheism, they don't.
- 26:00They may believe that God created everything, but then God looked at our own thing.
- 26:04We can take it and do what we want to do with it.
- 26:06Theism believed that God is in my life.
- 26:08I can pray to Him and He will hear my prayers.
- 26:11So when I understand theism and pantheism, that's a big difference between tolerance and
- 26:15intolerance, between virtue and between Christianity.
- 26:20We need to be students of the Bible and understand what God is asking us to do.
- 26:24And yes, there will be the world will come against it and the world won't get it.
- 26:27We have to understand that and accept that.
- 26:29We cannot compromise.
- 26:30Amen, brother.
- 26:31And one of the final points, several at the end of your article, you say, real love refuses
- 26:37to compromise eternal truth for cultural acceptance.
- 26:43Oh, yes.
- 26:44So let's heed these warnings, friends, and understand.
- 26:46Be discerning, loving discerning, but yet bold in our stance on biblical truth.
- 26:52And let's try to win people with the true gospel.
- 26:56David, final thoughts in about 30 seconds just to encourage people who are maybe struggling
- 27:00with how to respond to all this.
- 27:03Loving people is not being silent.
- 27:05Loving people is not accepting everything and welcoming everything.
- 27:08Loving people is being in the hands of feet of Jesus, but bringing the truth out and
- 27:12telling them what's about to come and what God has them.
- 27:15People are just ignorant.
- 27:16When I say that, they're not stupid.
- 27:18They're just not aware of how deeply God loves them.
- 27:20Amen.
- 27:21Amen.
- 27:22Let's be voices of truth.
