- 0:29Good morning from the In Coop, so in our week of building up
- 0:34gratitude, because of Thanksgiving, we're talking
- 0:38today about what happens. If you don't trust people, this
- 0:42comes up a lot in my sessions and we all have these issues
- 0:48where we've had people in our Lives who have just I'm going to
- 0:52say taught us but it really it's I would say, it goes deeper than
- 0:57that because trust is true. Thing that you give to somebody
- 1:02and you feel like well if I trust you then you're never
- 1:05going to have you know, you're not going to break that trust
- 1:08and we all get so violated when it happens and it can happen in
- 1:12a variety of different ways. Why?
- 1:14Because we are all very, very human and we all have different
- 1:18ways that we understand trust and that we Define trust.
- 1:22I mean, like if I actually said to you, if we were sitting down
- 1:25having coffee and I said well how do you define trust?
- 1:28You would probably pause and say, geez, I I don't know
- 1:31because that's a legitimate question.
- 1:33Most of us don't know how we Define trust.
- 1:36We either trust someone or we don't we get a feeling and we
- 1:39say yes, some of us have very very strict rules for it.
- 1:43Like you have to be XY and z or you have to do X, Y and Z but
- 1:47the truth is even those are not something that you consciously
- 1:51think about a lot of the time. It's just something that kind
- 1:54of, organically takes place. So when we feel like we don't
- 1:58trust somebody Ourselves into a lot of trouble right away
- 2:03because we're violating rules or somebody's violating rules that
- 2:07we're not clear on. I mean, think about how crazy
- 2:09that is. We're just not clear on the
- 2:11rules but yet we know you violated them.
- 2:13It's kind of like, I'm angry with you.
- 2:16And I'm not even sure why I'm angry with you.
- 2:18I just know something happened or we have Clarity on the
- 2:22incident that happened. But we didn't even know there
- 2:23were rules in place around those things because we never voiced
- 2:28them, we kept them inside. We said, okay.
- 2:30This is it. So this is how I feel trust for
- 2:34you, but I'm not defining it, and this gets us into so much
- 2:39trouble and when we sit and think about gratitude and all
- 2:43the people we want to be grateful for and we run through
- 2:46this stuff in our head. Oftentimes it'll be like well
- 2:49you know I had a great relationship with this person
- 2:52but they, you know, they put me in a position where I don't
- 2:56trust them anymore or just in general.
- 2:58Even deeper. I just don't trust people.
- 3:01And that's what this one is really about.
- 3:02Like I can't tell you how many times I hear people say, well,
- 3:07you know, you can't trust people and this is a global belief.
- 3:11Its meaning we make statements that are to our entire world's
- 3:16Global but not necessarily clear on why it's become such a global
- 3:20belief. So if somebody said to me do you
- 3:24have a global belief that you can't trust people?
- 3:26I would say absolutely not in my world I truly Believe in the
- 3:31theory of you get what you put out there so I believe in the
- 3:34good of people I genuinely believe in the good of people.
- 3:37I I 100% have faith in the fact that most people walking around
- 3:43us want to do good. They want to be good, they want
- 3:46to do the right thing and sometimes their circumstances
- 3:50leads them in different directions than the right thing
- 3:53or the good thing, but I believe in the heart of people and I
- 3:58always will, I cannot allow myself to Become jaded, because
- 4:01if I become jaded then, everything else around me around
- 4:05me. Surrounding Me In Me, Through Me
- 4:07becomes that filter, it goes through that filter and it
- 4:12becomes convoluted and difficult.
- 4:14So, the reason this is so important is that you have to
- 4:18protect yourself from the core harsh beliefs.
- 4:23That might be ruminating in your head because if you don't, they
- 4:26start to penetrate your entire world and then guess what
- 4:29happens? You start to.
- 4:30Act things that are not trustworthy or people that are
- 4:33not trustworthy or things. Just start showing up to give
- 4:37you proof that this is you're right, you're absolutely right.
- 4:42It's the same things. When someone says to me, you
- 4:44know what, I just knew it was going to go south.
- 4:46I knew it wasn't going to work out and boom.
- 4:48It didn't work out, so we could say that's our intuition and it
- 4:52might be if it was, truly a moment of like, okay, don't go
- 4:56down that road but then you never thought about it again, or
- 5:00Could be that you manifested it. And the here's the thing about
- 5:03energy and Law of Attraction and human beings, we never know.
- 5:07So I always will air on the side of trust, and I will also say
- 5:13that, you know, many years ago, when Ronald Reagan was
- 5:16negotiating with Mikhail Gorbachev.
- 5:19He always used to say, trust with verification and it doesn't
- 5:23mean that you go into it and you just are completely absolute in
- 5:27your trust and your ignorant to what some of the signs.
- 5:30Maybe B. But it does mean that you can
- 5:32go, and you can be very clear about certain things, you can be
- 5:35clear about your expectations. You can be clear with, if you
- 5:39have issues with trust, you can say, to somebody listened in the
- 5:42past, this has happened and it has put me in a position where I
- 5:46need to be a little clearer on my trust.
- 5:48And so I'm going to ask for x y&z, and if you say it in a
- 5:53non-emotional way, you put it right up front.
- 5:55Most people understand because most people have that same
- 5:59feeling It's all subject to conversation, it's all subject
- 6:03to being open and it's all subject to not being overly
- 6:06emotional about it. It's just being clear.
- 6:09So in this time of giving, thanks for everyone around us,
- 6:14it does involve trust. Again, it does involve first,
- 6:18trusting yourself to say, I can communicate clearly, I can no
- 6:23longer have Global beliefs. I can have situational beliefs
- 6:26where I'm going to look at each situation and I'm not going to
- 6:29judge. Everybody based on one
- 6:34particular person's incident or two particular.
- 6:37People's incidents, pull yourself back.
- 6:41Collectively start to be grateful for all the wonderful
- 6:44honest. Trusting people in your life and
- 6:47they will start to show up my friends.
- 6:49So, I hope you have a blessed day and I will see you tomorrow.
- 6:53Bye.
