- 0:26Speaker 1: Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharma. Today's Wednesday, June twenty fifth,
- 0:31Speaker 1: two thousand five. Today's going to be interesting boys. Trey,
- 0:41Speaker 1: are you still single? I am Raj? Are you still single?
- 0:46Speaker 2: No? Really kitting kidding, Yes, I just wanted to see
- 0:51Speaker 2: your faith.
- 0:52Speaker 3: I was shocked you got her, very surprised.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Well, Trey and Raj, since you are both single, are
- 1:00Speaker 1: are you ready to find love? Are you ready to
- 1:03Speaker 1: find love in some of the darkest corners of the world,
- 1:10Speaker 1: and by world I mean the Internet. Are you willing
- 1:15Speaker 1: to find love on a brand new dating site that
- 1:20Speaker 1: matches singles using their Internet search histories? No, say yes, sure,
- 1:30Speaker 1: thank you, Raj. I really want to see what happens.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Let's get two people with similar search histories and just
- 1:38Speaker 1: see what happens.
- 1:40Speaker 2: Yeah. If it's going from my recent search history, it's
- 1:43Speaker 2: going to be what is the flag of Croatia? So
- 1:49Speaker 2: it might be a Croatian girl World Cup stats and
- 1:54Speaker 2: gymnastic fails. So if if there's a there's a crippled
- 2:01Speaker 2: gymnast from Croatia.
- 2:03Speaker 3: That's what I was just thinking.
- 2:04Speaker 1: I think I think that may be uh the one
- 2:07Speaker 1: right there, Trey off the top of your head. What's
- 2:13Speaker 1: a couple of recent searches you've done that you're willing
- 2:17Speaker 1: to share to see if we can come up with
- 2:19Speaker 1: your ideal search history woman.
- 2:26Speaker 4: I did what is Graves Disease for yesterday's show. Okay,
- 2:33Speaker 4: mm hmm, I know I've done the a map of
- 2:41Speaker 4: the Middle East before and after. It's called slimp fast.
- 2:57Speaker 5: Something sure, something on the B two bomber.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I've something sports related, maybe a betting line of.
- 3:11Speaker 5: Some soccer Well, have soccer stats?
- 3:17Speaker 4: How many draft picks the Oklahoma City Thunder have coming
- 3:20Speaker 4: up over the next five years?
- 3:21Speaker 1: Okay, so what I'm getting then, Raj helped me out here.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Your ideal search history woman would be someone that's into.
- 3:33Speaker 2: Someone that flies under the radar and has autoimmune disease.
- 3:38Speaker 4: Sports bombing and medicine, A sickly pilot who has a
- 3:42Speaker 4: gambling problem.
- 3:46Speaker 5: I think I just fell in love.
- 3:48Speaker 1: I mean, honestly, if we're being honest, trade that sounds
- 3:51Speaker 1: like your girl, That sounds like your ideal match.
- 3:58Speaker 2: They'll both take the over on how long it goes?
- 4:00Speaker 1: Man, Honestly, I would watch a Hallmark movie of both
- 4:04Speaker 1: of your situations.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Yeah, I just, I just I'm trying to figure out
- 4:14Speaker 2: who plays Trey. Oh, please be Scott BYO.
- 4:21Speaker 1: There is a There is a new dating site. It
- 4:23Speaker 1: is called Browser Dating Matches.
- 4:25Speaker 3: I'm sorry.
- 4:26Speaker 1: The new dating site is called browser Dating. It matches
- 4:29Speaker 1: users based on their Internet search histories instead of curated
- 4:33Speaker 1: photos or bios. It's created by a Belgian artist, and
- 4:38Speaker 1: the platform uses artificial intelligence to uncover compatibility through online behavior,
- 4:44Speaker 1: offering what he calls a more unfiltered approach to connection.
- 4:48Speaker 1: He says, instead of choosing the best pictures or best
- 4:52Speaker 1: things about yourself, this will show a side of you
- 4:55Speaker 1: that you'd never pick. While the site has sparked privacy
- 4:59Speaker 1: concerns and mix to early feedback, he says the goal
- 5:02Speaker 1: is to offer a playful, yet sincere alternative to curated
- 5:06Speaker 1: dating profiles. And look, we don't know exactly how this works.
- 5:12Speaker 1: I'm assuming that it's going to match you, Trey and
- 5:15Speaker 1: Eu raj up with someone with similar search histories, but
- 5:20Speaker 1: in reality it might be something different. It might be
- 5:24Speaker 1: search histories that might compliment yours in some way I
- 5:29Speaker 1: don't know, as opposed to it being just the same stuff.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Based on my search history and Trey's answers, I think
- 5:35Speaker 2: it's going to hook us up with each other.
- 5:39Speaker 3: And that wouldn't be so bad.
- 5:43Speaker 2: I think what they should do is have one that
- 5:45Speaker 2: just does like, looks at your spam folder and sees
- 5:49Speaker 2: who's a perfect match for you from your spam folder.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Because we're going on that, I'm looking for somebody that
- 5:56Speaker 2: has a rectile dysfunction and is also a nursing student.
- 5:59Speaker 2: That's it's getting a hefty sum of money from a
- 6:01Speaker 2: Nigerian prince. I think that's love.
- 6:06Speaker 1: I think if if the two are in front of me,
- 6:08Speaker 1: I'd much rather find my match via search history than spam.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Oh what would we find on yours? Daniel, you're married,
- 6:15Speaker 2: you don't really have to worry about.
- 6:18Speaker 3: Well, hang on a second.
- 6:19Speaker 1: I got to do a couple of quick searches for
- 6:20Speaker 1: my wife.
- 6:26Speaker 2: He's looking for someone who loves animals and nacopaje.
- 6:34Speaker 3: Uh.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Honestly, I'm trying to think. Let me actually look, I'll
- 6:38Speaker 1: be honest here. Let me see if I can look
- 6:39Speaker 1: up to see what my most current searches were and.
- 6:43Speaker 5: How far does this do they want you to go
- 6:45Speaker 5: back in your history?
- 6:48Speaker 4: That's something I'm gonna be dating a woman who knows
- 6:51Speaker 4: how to dispose of my body.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Yeah, and you know what this actually might be an
- 6:57Speaker 1: unrealized benefit is you'll get future serial killers hooking up
- 7:05Speaker 1: in love. So maybe they'll be so busy in love
- 7:08Speaker 1: with each other they won't kill a bunch of people.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Yes, so you skipped natural born killers. That's how it works.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Two wrongs do make right down?
- 7:25Speaker 6: All right?
- 7:26Speaker 3: Let me see here, Okay, all right.
- 7:31Speaker 1: My recent searches is the US Constitution displayed in the
- 7:35Speaker 1: Texas Capital Southwest Airlines passenger meltdown. That is there actually
- 7:50Speaker 1: only only I feel like I got and then it's
- 7:52Speaker 1: just work related searches, like trying to find the Spotify iHeartRadio,
- 7:57Speaker 1: Apple podcasts icons for graphic design, So mind really not
- 8:02Speaker 1: that interesting.
- 8:04Speaker 2: I also have a feeling you're lying, you know that
- 8:13Speaker 2: whole I've known you for twenty plus years.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Yeah, well, I've said it before, but now it's really true.
- 8:22Speaker 1: I need new friends, friends that don't know me well

- 10:17Speaker 1: This is the Treehouse Show. I'm Dan O'Malley along with
- 10:20Speaker 1: Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharma. Fresh off of Wipe, Fresh
- 10:23Speaker 1: off of wiping completely clean my Google search history with
- 10:28Speaker 1: the exception of this story because I needed to pull
- 10:31Speaker 1: it up and share it with you. There were many,
- 10:34Speaker 1: many protests.
- 10:36Speaker 3: Around the country.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Recently, there was a really big series of protests in
- 10:40Speaker 1: Los Angeles, in and around Los Angeles protesting immigrations and
- 10:44Speaker 1: customs enforcement. And while we're in full support of people
- 10:50Speaker 1: exercising their First Amendment right, some interesting things happened at
- 10:54Speaker 1: these protests, one in particular, and one in particular, I
- 10:58Speaker 1: mean not just one man, but what happened to his
- 11:01Speaker 1: nut Because one an ice protester, had his testicle shattered
- 11:06Speaker 1: by a rubber bullet. You know, they say the cost
- 11:15Speaker 1: of freedom is high.
- 11:18Speaker 2: So is his voice. Oh man, his surch History's going
- 11:29Speaker 2: to be interesting.
- 11:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:31Speaker 1: An ice protester in Los Angeles says he was shot
- 11:34Speaker 1: in the groin at close range by an officer with
- 11:37Speaker 1: a rubber bullet. He claims to have a bruised left
- 11:41Speaker 1: testicle and he also says my right testicle was shattered.
- 11:50Speaker 1: That's the actual audio of him after getting shot after
- 11:54Speaker 1: about five minutes. Because we all know there's a weird
- 11:57Speaker 1: dark period after you get racked where you can make
- 12:01Speaker 1: no noise and you barely breathe, but then once you're
- 12:05Speaker 1: a bull again, then it all comes out.
- 12:14Speaker 3: Again. Freedom.
- 12:16Speaker 1: That's a high cost, especially with low hanging fruit.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Two balls, one bullet.
- 12:27Speaker 1: I remember there was also a video of I think
- 12:29Speaker 1: it was an Australian TV reporter getting shot by a
- 12:33Speaker 1: rubber bullet, getting kind of excited with some of the
- 12:38Speaker 1: rubber bullets with some of the people. But you know,
- 12:41Speaker 1: it happens if things get out of hand, you got
- 12:42Speaker 1: to do a little crowd control and sometimes you got
- 12:44Speaker 1: to shoot a man in a nuts with a rubber bullet.
- 12:47Speaker 1: But this man is the three year old Martin Senteo,
- 12:51Speaker 1: and he's now home from the hospital. But he's still
- 12:53Speaker 1: in recovery and he can't walk.
- 12:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I feel so he's a guy. That
- 13:01Speaker 2: means he's got guy friends. They'll never never let him
- 13:05Speaker 2: live this down. It doesn't matter how long, how much
- 13:07Speaker 2: time goes by, he's going to be at a bar
- 13:09Speaker 2: with his buddy and be like, hey, man, who wants
- 13:12Speaker 2: another round? Somebody's gonna go who wants another ball? Every time?
- 13:18Speaker 4: I mean, just the irony of being at an ice protest,
- 13:22Speaker 4: and then at that point it's the one thing you need.
- 13:29Speaker 1: I want you to look at my note card tray
- 13:32Speaker 1: focuses needs ice. It really is the ultimate irony to
- 13:38Speaker 1: be at an ice protest. You get a shattered testicle
- 13:41Speaker 1: from a rubber bullet, and the one thing that'll help
- 13:45Speaker 1: is ice.
- 13:48Speaker 2: A pack of ice, and an ice pack.
- 13:50Speaker 3: Oh man, I feel for the guy, but I.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Guess that's it. I feel for the guy again, because
- 14:02Speaker 1: where we all believe in the in the Constitution, we
- 14:04Speaker 1: believe in you know, right to gather into protest and
- 14:07Speaker 1: free speech and all that kind of stuff, and uh,
- 14:11Speaker 1: but it just only ending, you know, by finishing the
- 14:15Speaker 1: day with one testicle is very very odd.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Yeah, because you also have to go to the hospital
- 14:21Speaker 2: and tell the position there and charge like, you know, so,
- 14:24Speaker 2: how did you injure yourself? And it's like, you know
- 14:27Speaker 2: it's a sporting injury, was it? You know, domestic violent
- 14:29Speaker 2: situation and he has to just literally go gut shut
- 14:34Speaker 2: in the balls.
- 14:37Speaker 5: That is it work related?
- 14:39Speaker 2: You know, No, I took the day off. I took
- 14:44Speaker 2: the day off to do this.
- 14:45Speaker 1: H Just imagine going to work the next time. It's like, hey, Martin,
- 14:52Speaker 1: how'd that protest go?
- 14:53Speaker 2: Shut up? Shut up?
- 14:58Speaker 1: You know, maybe that's it. Maybe that's going to be
- 15:00Speaker 1: hidden benefit. The next time he does a protest, his
- 15:02Speaker 1: voice is really gonna carry beautifully because he'll be soprano.
- 15:07Speaker 2: He's the first Hispanic Michael Jackson impersonator.
- 15:10Speaker 11: There we go, but they for the first guy that
- 15:17Speaker 11: you know, they're talking and whoever, you know, one ball
- 15:22Speaker 11: says you know, I'm gonna go do this, and unknowingly
- 15:25Speaker 11: I goes, you ain't got the balls.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Oh that is wrong and very true.
- 15:39Speaker 6: You're in the treehouse.
- 15:43Speaker 7: Listen us online on air dot com.
- 15:48Speaker 1: Let's get Daniel Cook from COOKDFW Roofing and Restoration into
- 15:52Speaker 1: the treehouse. Their number for your free roof inspection eight
- 15:55Speaker 1: three three, Cook DFW, the website COOKDFW dot com. The
- 15:59Speaker 1: RMS House Listeners Foundation exists to help the families of
- 16:03Speaker 1: fallen DFW police officers and firefighters killed in the line
- 16:07Speaker 1: of duty. And we've been very fortunate over the years
- 16:09Speaker 1: to partner with some outstanding companies wanting to help. And
- 16:13Speaker 1: today we get to add Cook DFW's name to that
- 16:16Speaker 1: list of excellent sponsors to the foundation because Daniel, you
- 16:20Speaker 1: and your wife Carrie have said, you know what, we
- 16:22Speaker 1: love our community and we want to do something to
- 16:24Speaker 1: give back to our first responders in DFW.
- 16:26Speaker 12: Right, Dan, That's absolutely correct, and you know, truth be known,
- 16:30Speaker 12: Carrie has given to the foundation for quite so many years.
- 16:35Speaker 12: But now at a company level, I think we are
- 16:37Speaker 12: wanting to definitely, you know, beefed up and start giving
- 16:42Speaker 12: back to the foundation. And it's unfortunately, this is a
- 16:45Speaker 12: foundation nobody wants to have to donate to.
- 16:47Speaker 5: But it's the real world is that these things.
- 16:50Speaker 12: Do happen, and it's the type of foundation that you
- 16:54Speaker 12: don't want around, but you definitely want it to be,
- 16:56Speaker 12: you know, available.
- 16:57Speaker 5: To the families that need it.
- 16:58Speaker 12: And so the next couple of months, you know, a
- 17:02Speaker 12: portion of all the proceeds from the work done from
- 17:05Speaker 12: Treehouse listeners that call in and let us know that
- 17:07Speaker 12: they heard about you on the show. We're going to
- 17:09Speaker 12: be donating to the RMS tree House Listeners Foundation and
- 17:13Speaker 12: making sure that we can keep that very stable in
- 17:17Speaker 12: the accounting side and have funds available that when the
- 17:20Speaker 12: families need it, it's going to be there. So we're
- 17:23Speaker 12: very fortunate to be a part of the organization and
- 17:27Speaker 12: we look forward to try and assist and help it as.
- 17:29Speaker 5: Much as we can.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Not only a company that cares about you as a client,
- 17:32Speaker 1: but Cook DFW Roofing and Restoration also cares about its
- 17:36Speaker 1: first responders in our communities. So give them a call
- 17:39Speaker 1: for your roofing and restoration needs. Eight three three Cook
- 17:42Speaker 1: DFW eight three three Cook DFW. Make sure you tell
- 17:46Speaker 1: him you heard about him in the Treehouse and the

- 18:27Speaker 1: I'm Dan, He's trade.
- 18:28Speaker 3: That's RAJ.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Today is Wednesday, June twenty fifth, twenty twenty five.
- 18:34Speaker 3: I think no, I don't even have to say. I
- 18:37Speaker 3: think I know the most.
- 18:38Speaker 1: Surprising piece of legislation to come out of this legislature
- 18:45Speaker 1: in Texas. I'm still stunned that Governor Abbott vetoed the
- 18:51Speaker 1: THC ban in Texas. I am really really surprised by that.
- 18:56Speaker 4: I'll tell you the even more surprising thing about that
- 18:59Speaker 4: whole deal.
- 19:02Speaker 5: Is who was funding.
- 19:04Speaker 6: That bill? Who?
- 19:07Speaker 5: Who do you think?
- 19:08Speaker 1: Booze, Big Alcohol, Big Booze.
- 19:11Speaker 3: Was my first.
- 19:15Speaker 5: Medical marijuana was funding that?
- 19:18Speaker 4: Because I think about it, and once it was explained,
- 19:23Speaker 4: it made perfect sense. There are a lot of these
- 19:26Speaker 4: outfits that put a lot of money in, you know,
- 19:29Speaker 4: establishing medical marijuana dispensaries, and then all of a sudden
- 19:33Speaker 4: you have the Delta Delta nine that can be sold
- 19:37Speaker 4: at you know, smoke shops and everything else held some
- 19:40Speaker 4: convenience stores, and so that made the price of marijuana
- 19:46Speaker 4: just go down. The demand fell through the floor, and
- 19:51Speaker 4: so that that's who was behind. That's who was in
- 19:54Speaker 4: Dan Patrick's pocketbook.
- 19:58Speaker 2: But the Delta nine and the Delta eight and the
- 20:00Speaker 2: Cratum and you know the gummies that you're getting, that's
- 20:03Speaker 2: all synthetic marijuana. Anyway. That's how they get away with
- 20:05Speaker 2: it because it's one I think it's one oxygen I
- 20:08Speaker 2: on or one molecule away from being natural THHC. So
- 20:12Speaker 2: that's how they get around it. But so it's synthetic marijuana.
- 20:14Speaker 2: So you mean anybody can produce that, I don't think.
- 20:16Speaker 2: I think what it is is once you open it
- 20:18Speaker 2: up to the general public, then competition gets larger and
- 20:25Speaker 2: larger and larger. Once you have to get a medical
- 20:27Speaker 2: marijuana license, it's very difficult to get. So if you
- 20:30Speaker 2: are one of those guys like Trey saying, like, if
- 20:32Speaker 2: you are one of those guys that invested a crap
- 20:34Speaker 2: ton of money into opening your thing, you don't want,
- 20:38Speaker 2: you know, you don't want a hundred other people that
- 20:40Speaker 2: can now go and legally do it. And there's people
- 20:42Speaker 2: that I mean in La do it like as a
- 20:43Speaker 2: food truck. Yeah, you can just go up to like, yeah,
- 20:46Speaker 2: there's like food trucks and then they'll be a dispensary truck.
- 20:48Speaker 1: So it is interesting, you're right trade because the medical
- 20:51Speaker 1: side of the marijuana, the THC whatever, would be against
- 20:55Speaker 1: the recreational side because they're kind of working as opposing
- 20:58Speaker 1: forces there technically both for marijuana, but the medical sides
- 21:02Speaker 1: more and more money for it.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Yeah, my buddy has a really good friend of mine
- 21:06Speaker 2: has MS and he's prescribed medical marijuana. It is so
- 21:09Speaker 2: expensive that he just goes to a regular pot dealer
- 21:13Speaker 2: and smokes flour because he can't afford the tintures and
- 21:16Speaker 2: the gummies that are being prescribed to him. He doesn't
- 21:19Speaker 2: have insurance. But also, I mean flip side of that,
- 21:22Speaker 2: like the people that were against Uber, like when Uber
- 21:24Speaker 2: was in San Antonio and there was a bill to
- 21:27Speaker 2: keep them out of San Antonio that was by mother's
- 21:29Speaker 2: against drug driving because they get a percentage of the
- 21:33Speaker 2: money for every duy, so they didn't and DUI is
- 21:37Speaker 2: dropped by thirty one percent the first year that Uber
- 21:40Speaker 2: was in San Antonio, Like Austin American.
- 21:43Speaker 1: I feel like that's like that feels like a Rogan
- 21:46Speaker 1: type moment. It was an Austin American Statesman reporter that
- 21:50Speaker 1: broke that story. That's why they allowed Uber and San Antonio.
- 21:55Speaker 1: Governor Abbott vetoed Texas t HC ban.
- 22:00Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 22:01Speaker 1: Yeah, Abbot vetoed the THHC band and instead he's calling
- 22:05Speaker 1: for a special session to talk regulation so some forms
- 22:10Speaker 1: of THC will remain legal in Texas. After Governor Abbot
- 22:15Speaker 1: vetoed Senate Bill three late on Sunday night, he said
- 22:18Speaker 1: he's calling a special legislative session to begin on July
- 22:21Speaker 1: twenty first, to craft a law that does as much
- 22:24Speaker 1: as possible to corral the problems while also being structured
- 22:29Speaker 1: so that it can go into effect this year. Interesting,
- 22:34Speaker 1: and it pissed off Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick.
- 22:37Speaker 2: Yeah, that's one of those like tell me you smoke
- 22:39Speaker 2: weed without telling me you smoke weed.
- 22:41Speaker 1: We wasn't Governor Abbot one of the ones that wanted
- 22:44Speaker 1: the ban in the first place.
- 22:47Speaker 2: Yeah, But then he's, you know, he's also you know,
- 22:49Speaker 2: wheelchair bound, So I'm sure somebody's like, hey, before you
- 22:51Speaker 2: make a decision, I got some good stuff from California.
- 22:55Speaker 2: They could hit this, tell me what you think. And
- 22:57Speaker 2: then he got he did, and then he had four,
- 23:00Speaker 2: maybe eight Jack of the Box tacos.
- 23:02Speaker 1: And realized that there's some parts of California that are
- 23:05Speaker 1: okay to be In.
- 23:06Speaker 2: Texas, he had four to eight Jack of the Box tacos,
- 23:12Speaker 2: a milkshake.
- 23:13Speaker 1: Well, we'll take the tacos and the THC but.
- 23:15Speaker 2: Yeah, and the curly Frys and a milkshake, and then
- 23:18Speaker 2: another milkshake and then some more tacos. And he's like,
- 23:20Speaker 2: you know what, I think I'm wrong about this bill.
- 23:24Speaker 2: I hope I hope with the special legislation that they
- 23:26Speaker 2: hand out pot brownies beforehand, give it about half an hour,
- 23:29Speaker 2: and then started debating, that's going to be for an
- 23:33Speaker 2: interesting take. I'd watched that that's to be the only
- 23:37Speaker 2: sea Span rating through the roof.
- 23:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean does like does Sea Span dip into
- 23:42Speaker 1: like actual state legislatures or is it just federal Because
- 23:45Speaker 1: I'd watched a Texas and if they're all going to be.
- 23:47Speaker 2: High, that's a special event coming.
- 23:52Speaker 1: It's like, no matter what they're voting on, everyone's going yay.

- 24:51Speaker 3: Today.
- 24:51Speaker 1: This is the Treehouse Show. I'm Dan, that's Trey.
- 24:53Speaker 3: He's RAJ.
- 24:54Speaker 1: Today is Wednesday, June twenty fifth, twenty twenty five. Quick
- 24:58Speaker 1: little research note, we didn't find anything about mad being
- 25:01Speaker 1: against Uber in Texas or San Antonio, in fact, showing
- 25:05Speaker 1: that they've partnered together in efforts to reduce drung driving.
- 25:09Speaker 3: RAJ.
- 25:09Speaker 1: If you can find the article that you're talking about,
- 25:11Speaker 1: send it to us and we'll we'll talk about that.
- 25:14Speaker 1: But until then, we got to stand by what we
- 25:17Speaker 1: so far.
- 25:18Speaker 3: You know know to be true.
- 25:20Speaker 1: Yes, while we're discussing such heavy things, it's because we're
- 25:28Speaker 1: responsible broadcasters unlike others, even even via radio and podcast,
- 25:33Speaker 1: we're still responsible. Speaking of responsibility, if you had the
- 25:38Speaker 1: ability to go back and rewatch some of your dreams
- 25:43Speaker 1: while awake.
- 25:44Speaker 6: Would you do it?
- 25:47Speaker 1: Do you want to watch reruns of your dreams?
- 25:51Speaker 2: I have a pretty decent dreams. I don't really have
- 25:54Speaker 2: a lot of scary ones. I don't really have a
- 25:55Speaker 2: lot of adult content. I have weird like eating eating
- 26:02Speaker 2: pizza with like, you know, same thing, like eating in
- 26:04Speaker 2: a restaurant with people that are you know, celebrities and
- 26:06Speaker 2: dead friends. So yeah, that'd be kind of kind of
- 26:09Speaker 2: fun to watch to see what the conversation is.
- 26:12Speaker 1: I don't think the storylines of my dreams would be
- 26:14Speaker 1: good for a full season, but like a one off episode, Yeah,
- 26:17Speaker 1: that'd be interesting, especially when when when an X pops
- 26:21Speaker 1: in out of nowhere.
- 26:22Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I didn't have one of those not too
- 26:24Speaker 2: long ago.
- 26:24Speaker 1: Yeah, Trey, what about you would you want to have?
- 26:27Speaker 1: Would you want to watch reruns of any of your dreams?
- 26:32Speaker 3: I broke him.
- 26:35Speaker 2: I don't.
- 26:37Speaker 5: I seldom remember my dreams.
- 26:40Speaker 1: Which is a reason for the technology, because now instead
- 26:45Speaker 1: of forgetting your dreams, you'll have a way to go
- 26:47Speaker 1: back and watch them and be horrified all over again.
- 26:52Speaker 4: See to me that that that's where you're you're really
- 26:54Speaker 4: getting your your you're playing with fire of you know,
- 27:01Speaker 4: if you're not remembering dreams, that maybe there's a reason
- 27:04Speaker 4: for it, you know, and your mind just you know,
- 27:06Speaker 4: subconscious working stuff out. Yeah, it seems like I could
- 27:10Speaker 4: open up a can of worms.
- 27:11Speaker 1: So yeah, Japanese scientists have developed a device capable of
- 27:16Speaker 1: recording dreams and playing them back for viewing. It's still
- 27:20Speaker 1: fairly primitive right now, but at some point we may
- 27:23Speaker 1: have the technology to go back and watch our dreams
- 27:27Speaker 1: just like it's a TV show. And I'm a little
- 27:30Speaker 1: scared about that, because what if this technology comes to
- 27:35Speaker 1: life and there's like a whole channel of just your dreams,
- 27:41Speaker 1: and your significant other decides to watch that channel, you
- 27:47Speaker 1: are going to be in a whole new world to hurt.
- 27:50Speaker 4: I mean, you're talking about the divorce rate, just going
- 27:52Speaker 4: through the roof.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Because let's let's let's let's bring this topic from the
- 27:59Speaker 1: dark in to the light. Show of hands. Who here
- 28:02Speaker 1: in the treehouse has been in a relationship where the
- 28:05Speaker 1: significant other got mad at you for something you did
- 28:09Speaker 1: in her dream?
- 28:12Speaker 3: Yeah, that's all of us.
- 28:13Speaker 1: Yeah, now, show of hands of us, Me, Dan, you,
- 28:18Speaker 1: trey U, Raj raise your hand. If you have ever
- 28:23Speaker 1: been mad at your significant other because of something she
- 28:25Speaker 1: did in your dream?
- 28:29Speaker 3: Look at that, no hands whatsoever?
- 28:33Speaker 2: Hmm.
- 28:34Speaker 6: Interesting.
- 28:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I'm two very specific moments when I
- 28:38Speaker 2: was like, I can't believe you would you would do
- 28:40Speaker 2: something like that. I'm like, I can't believe you would
- 28:41Speaker 2: imagine something like that like that.
- 28:43Speaker 3: Oh, that's good, turn it back on her.
- 28:45Speaker 2: Hmm. Yeah you thought of that, not me.
- 28:47Speaker 3: Yeah, came out of your jacked up burning not mine.
- 28:50Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 28:51Speaker 2: But it's also women are the only people, Like, if
- 28:52Speaker 2: I lost the limb, would you still love me? Stop?
- 28:57Speaker 3: Do you know something I don't?
- 28:58Speaker 6: Are you?
- 28:58Speaker 1: Are you suddenly going to start making up heavy machinery
- 29:01Speaker 1: as a hobby, Like why is this even a real thing?
- 29:04Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 29:04Speaker 2: If I lost the leg, would you leave me? I'm like, well,
- 29:06Speaker 2: you wouldn't catch me. Even if I did.
- 29:12Speaker 3: Even if I did, what are you gonna do about it?
- 29:14Speaker 9: After me?
- 29:16Speaker 4: I mean, it was that would be just the worst
- 29:20Speaker 4: nightmare of You know, you're watching some historical documentary and
- 29:24Speaker 4: you know, next morning, why were you dreaming of Joan
- 29:26Speaker 4: of arc You gotta think?
- 29:27Speaker 13: For well, she was hot, she was hot in your
- 29:34Speaker 13: mom's name is Joan? So yeah, the dreams thing, the
- 29:44Speaker 13: dream Things.
- 29:45Speaker 3: I'm with you, Dre.
- 29:45Speaker 1: I think the dreams thing is definitely a Pandora's box
- 29:48Speaker 1: that you don't want to peek inside.
- 29:52Speaker 2: I don't know. I would, I would be open for it.
- 29:54Speaker 5: I'm like, noah, yeah, no, it'd be a great reality
- 29:58Speaker 5: TV show.
- 30:00Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I'd watch other people do it.
- 30:01Speaker 5: Oh yeah, I'd watch That's like watch another couples fight,
- 30:04Speaker 5: you know.
- 30:04Speaker 3: Yeah, Oh that's fun.
- 30:07Speaker 1: I love relationship fights when I'm not in the middle
- 30:09Speaker 1: of them.
- 30:09Speaker 2: Huh. Now we know why Love Island exists.
- 30:16Speaker 1: I'm really surprised that there's not a league because if
- 30:18Speaker 1: you really want one sport that would actually pull in
- 30:22Speaker 1: every possible demographic, the one sport that might actually eclipse
- 30:27Speaker 1: the NFL, and that would be professional couples fighting. Not fisticuffs,
- 30:33Speaker 1: although that'd be interesting too, but just verbal arguments that
- 30:37Speaker 1: would have the entire nation, the entire world, glued to
- 30:40Speaker 1: their television sets to then break down and analyze the
- 30:45Speaker 1: betting world. My god, Vegas would go crazy. Who's going
- 30:48Speaker 1: to win this argument?
- 30:51Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 30:51Speaker 5: Always bet on the chick.
- 30:53Speaker 2: Yeah yeah.
- 30:55Speaker 1: But that's where we got to find ways. We gotta
- 30:58Speaker 1: find ways to make the men elite.
- 31:00Speaker 3: Maybe some argument enhancing drugs. I don't know.
- 31:08Speaker 2: I think the fisto cups is just called cops. You
- 31:12Speaker 2: have that on they have that on A and E
- 31:14Speaker 2: H and then not dream based. But if you ninety
- 31:17Speaker 2: day fiance is a good one. If you want to
- 31:19Speaker 2: watch couples that barely know each other fight, that's a
- 31:22Speaker 2: good one.
- 31:22Speaker 1: Now, the best fights are between the couples that know
- 31:25Speaker 1: each other extremely well. They know their their INDs, their outs,
- 31:30Speaker 1: their idiosyncrasies there, Uh, they know which buttons to push.
- 31:36Speaker 2: I mean yeah, so then if it's a dream they
- 31:37Speaker 2: can they can go after that. Is that what you're saying, like,
- 31:39Speaker 2: I can go after that? Like you don't act that
- 31:40Speaker 2: way with me, or you don't think like that, or
- 31:42Speaker 2: you don't tell me things like this.
- 31:43Speaker 1: Well, I mean, the longer you're in a relationship, the
- 31:46Speaker 1: better you know someone, the more AMMO you have on them.
- 31:50Speaker 1: It's kind of like it's kind of like in the NFL,
- 31:54Speaker 1: playing someone in your division twice a year, they know
- 31:57Speaker 1: you better than anybody and those are the toughest games.
- 32:01Speaker 4: They're going to remake Passenger fifty seven, Lesley snips and
- 32:04Speaker 4: be always bet on what.
- 32:14Speaker 9: You're listening to the Treehouse.

- 33:02Speaker 1: twenty twenty five. Let's celebrate today with some birthdays. Yay birthdays?
- 33:12Speaker 3: Hang on, where did I put the birthday I just had?
- 33:15Speaker 6: On?
- 33:17Speaker 3: Here we go.
- 33:20Speaker 1: McKenna Grace turns nineteen today. McKenna Grace turns nineteen. She's
- 33:25Speaker 1: possibly best known as Phoebe Spangler in Ghostbusters Afterlife and
- 33:29Speaker 1: Ghostbusters Frozen Empire. I feel sorry for that. That's what
- 33:33Speaker 1: she's best known for. Hopefully she'll make something else that
- 33:38Speaker 1: will be much much better. Busy Phillips turns forty six.
- 33:43Speaker 1: She was Audrey on Dawson's Creek, Amy Schumer's best friend,
- 33:46Speaker 1: and I feel pretty part of the Phillips Family Empire.
- 33:49Speaker 1: Busy Phillips turns forty six. Linda Cardellini turns fifty today.
- 33:56Speaker 1: This is a woman of immense talents. I'm a huge
- 33:58Speaker 1: fan of Linda Cardellini. Okay, she's fifty today. She's Judy
- 34:02Speaker 1: on the Netflix series Dead to Me. You may also
- 34:06Speaker 1: know her as Hawkeye's wife in Avengers Endgame, Age of
- 34:10Speaker 1: Ultron all that. She was also the hot Velma in
- 34:13Speaker 1: the Scooby Doo movie. She was also Sylvia Rosen on
- 34:18Speaker 1: Madmen and Samantha Taggart on Eer. Linda Cardalini turns fifty today.
- 34:24Speaker 1: Outstanding Actress. Jeff Cohen is fifty one. Jeff Cohen today
- 34:32Speaker 1: is an entertainment lawyer based in California. But in nineteen
- 34:37Speaker 1: eighty five he was a legend known as Chunk from Goonies. Oh, okay,
- 34:45Speaker 1: I think it was eighty five, eighty five, eighty six.
- 34:48Speaker 1: Chunk from Goonies is fifty one today. I'm guessing he
- 34:53Speaker 1: was the big kid Chunk.
- 34:56Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 34:56Speaker 1: Yeah, he's the one that did the truffle shuffle. I
- 34:59Speaker 1: never saw it, Trey, you never saw Goonies.
- 35:01Speaker 3: Well, he made it big.
- 35:03Speaker 1: He was big as a kid, and then he made
- 35:04Speaker 1: it big as an adult as an entertainment attorney and
- 35:08Speaker 1: one of his biggest clients right now his Goonies co
- 35:11Speaker 1: star Kihui Kwan, who played Data in Goonies, who has
- 35:15Speaker 1: had a massive career resurgence in the last handful of years.
- 35:20Speaker 1: So Goonies never say die.
- 35:26Speaker 3: Shut up rosh.
- 35:29Speaker 1: Other birthdays today, Angela from the Office. Angela Kinzie is
- 35:33Speaker 1: fifty four. British comedian and actor Ricky Gervais is sixty four.
- 35:38Speaker 1: One of my favorites. I love him and he's fantastic.
- 35:41Speaker 1: The reason why I love him is because there are
- 35:43Speaker 1: times he can be both loved and hated by everybody,
- 35:46Speaker 1: and that is a very difficult needle to thread as
- 35:51Speaker 1: an entertainer and a comedian. So big props to Ricky Gervas.
- 35:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:57Speaker 3: I love.
- 36:00Speaker 2: When he was presenting and he was drinking on stage, like,
- 36:03Speaker 2: what are they gonna do? Fire me now?
- 36:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I love it when he's on stage just absolutely
- 36:08Speaker 1: just bitch lap in Hollywood.
- 36:10Speaker 3: God, it's hysterical.
- 36:11Speaker 2: Yeah he was. There was some Chinese corporation that wanted
- 36:14Speaker 2: to book him for a million dollars for one hour. Jesus,
- 36:17Speaker 2: he turned it down and they're like, are you crazy.
- 36:19Speaker 2: He's like, no, I don't need that money. Like you
- 36:22Speaker 2: you want me there, I don't want to be there.
- 36:23Speaker 2: So I enjoyed that. I was like, good for him.
- 36:26Speaker 2: He got there.
- 36:29Speaker 5: His show Afterlife is a good watch.
- 36:31Speaker 1: That's one that's on my list that I want to watch.
- 36:33Speaker 3: How many seasons of that is there?
- 36:35Speaker 5: Trey?
- 36:35Speaker 4: There's three scenes, but it's literally I think it's six
- 36:38Speaker 4: episodes a season. Okay, oh yeah, Okay, so it's they're
- 36:42Speaker 4: all like thirty minute episodes and the first season is darker,
- 36:46Speaker 4: but it's the last season is hysterical.
- 36:51Speaker 2: Is that a BBC show?
- 36:53Speaker 5: No, I think it was just a I think it
- 36:54Speaker 5: was a Netflix show.
- 36:56Speaker 2: Okay, the BBC does that where they have like six episodes.
- 36:58Speaker 14: Yeason, it may be, but I I always caught it
- 37:02Speaker 14: on Netflix. So other birthdays. Today you've got uh Jimmy
- 37:10Speaker 14: Walker is seventy eight. Used to be uh on good
- 37:16Speaker 14: times and now he's on hard times.
- 37:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I know. Uh he had a little uh they
- 37:23Speaker 2: loved him on Scrubs like he had a little uh yeah,
- 37:26Speaker 2: he had a couple of cameos on Scrubs and uh yeah,
- 37:30Speaker 2: but still doing the stand up comedy scene yeah.
- 37:33Speaker 5: And medicare commercials.
- 37:36Speaker 1: Yes, hence the hard times.
- 37:44Speaker 6: You're in the treehouse.
- 37:49Speaker 7: Visit us online a Treehouse on Air dot com.

- 38:32Speaker 1: and leave us a message and we just might play
- 38:35Speaker 1: it on Tuesdays right here inside the Treehouse show. I'm Dan,
- 38:39Speaker 1: He's Trey, that's Raj. Today is Wednesday, June twenty fifth,
- 38:42Speaker 1: twenty twenty five. One more little bit of something to
- 38:45Speaker 1: share with you before we close the Treehouse for today.
- 38:49Speaker 1: And that is a story that we somehow missed a
- 38:52Speaker 1: year ago, but we're gonna hit it now. A woman
- 38:56Speaker 1: divorced her husband for screwing the jar lids too tight.
- 39:01Speaker 2: Thank god you finished that sentence. No, that's a different
- 39:08Speaker 2: story if you leave out too tight.
- 39:10Speaker 3: M hm, it really is. But as it is.
- 39:14Speaker 1: She said she was divorcing him because he kept over
- 39:16Speaker 1: tightening the jar lids in the house. And I can
- 39:20Speaker 1: think of many and many petty things you can do
- 39:23Speaker 1: in a relationship to get back at your significant other,
- 39:27Speaker 1: but purposely overtightening all the jar lids is a new
- 39:31Speaker 1: one even to me.
- 39:32Speaker 2: See. And this is where like the romantic sweet side
- 39:35Speaker 2: of me sees this and I'm like, maybe he was
- 39:37Speaker 2: doing that so she would ask for his help, like, hey,
- 39:40Speaker 2: can you open this for me? And he can be
- 39:42Speaker 2: like the tough guy superhero like look that I did,
- 39:44Speaker 2: and he was just trying to be endearing and she
- 39:46Speaker 2: took that as you know, weakness or whatever.
- 39:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 39:50Speaker 2: I just thought it would be that kind of sweet,
- 39:52Speaker 2: like let me just tighten this a little too tight
- 39:54Speaker 2: and she'll need me and we can cook together or
- 39:56Speaker 2: whatever it is.
- 39:57Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 39:58Speaker 1: Well, she says that that she cracked the code. The
- 40:01Speaker 1: reason how she knows it was on purpose was because
- 40:04Speaker 1: she said when she discovered that even the jars he
- 40:07Speaker 1: would never have opened were overtightened. That's how she knew
- 40:11Speaker 1: he was doing it on purpose, not to be her savior,
- 40:14Speaker 1: but to just get under her skin.
- 40:19Speaker 2: Oh that dud's a dick.
- 40:23Speaker 1: And if we're being honest, respect for all things Treehouse.
- 40:34Speaker 1: Go to Treehouse on Air dot com. Be sure to
