- 1:18Speaker 2: doing today?
- 1:19Speaker 3: Don't ask.
- 1:23Speaker 2: She seems flat. Well, you know, here's the thing, man,
- 1:28Speaker 2: You know sometimes you just have those days, right. And
- 1:31Speaker 2: the thing is is none of this was of Debs making,
- 1:36Speaker 2: not one bit of it. So this isn't like a stub,
- 1:39Speaker 2: a toe slip on marbles all in one. It is
- 1:43Speaker 2: none of that. It is not a decision she made
- 1:45Speaker 2: at all.
- 1:47Speaker 4: It got my car service this morning. Oil change, new
- 1:51Speaker 4: air filter, filled up my tires. I've had a low
- 1:55Speaker 4: tire pressure monitor for a while and i have low
- 1:57Speaker 4: profile tires, so I've been like, oh, is it a
- 1:59Speaker 4: b stencer we fill up the tires. It still says it.
- 2:04Speaker 4: So cars detailed, looks so pretty. Get it home, spend home,
- 2:09Speaker 4: not even an hour. I go to grab my purse
- 2:12Speaker 4: and the basket for the silent auction for tomorrow night's
- 2:14Speaker 4: poker tournament.
- 2:15Speaker 3: When I heard this.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Sound, your cable went out.
- 2:21Speaker 3: I'm in the house and.
- 2:23Speaker 4: I'm like, what what is that? So I go over
- 2:26Speaker 4: to the fan where I'm like, is there something caught
- 2:27Speaker 4: in the fan?
- 2:28Speaker 2: Did hear this from inside the house?
- 2:31Speaker 4: Didn't know what it was, Jack, until I walked to
- 2:33Speaker 4: put my stuff in the car and went, oh, hell,
- 2:36Speaker 4: my tire's flat.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, a blowout. A blowout.
- 2:40Speaker 4: Well, thankfully it wasn't a blowout, but it is amazing that,
- 2:43Speaker 4: like Jack said, I could even hear the air leaking
- 2:45Speaker 4: from the tire from inside the house. Thankfully, my mom
- 2:48Speaker 4: let me borrow her car. I got to work at
- 2:50Speaker 4: two o'clock, only thirty minutes late, ordered a quick lunch
- 2:54Speaker 4: because I didn't want to go on the air without
- 2:55Speaker 4: any food in my stomach, only to have my entire
- 2:58Speaker 4: food order be wrong except for the drinks.
- 3:01Speaker 3: But at least I didn't learn.
- 3:04Speaker 4: As I'm watching Paramour in summer and the rest of
- 3:07Speaker 4: the promo crew bringing more food than what could feed
- 3:09Speaker 4: a small.
- 3:10Speaker 3: Army into the kitchen.
- 3:13Speaker 4: But it's a good thing I didn't pay good money
- 3:15Speaker 4: for a messed up meal.
- 3:18Speaker 2: They'll give you a credit.
- 3:19Speaker 3: That's what he said.
- 3:20Speaker 2: That said, my daughter does all the time. He's the thing.
- 3:24Speaker 2: I'm not trying to get free food. But you know,
- 3:28Speaker 2: here's the other thing doing. Let me let me tell
- 3:29Speaker 2: you where it really went poorly. Right sandwich not even
- 3:33Speaker 2: close to what she orders. You ordered a small burger,
- 3:34Speaker 2: got a chicken sandwich, not even the right animal. No right.
- 3:39Speaker 2: And she got chili that she did not order. No
- 3:42Speaker 2: orderable of chili.
- 3:43Speaker 1: No.
- 3:43Speaker 2: The only thing I didtaurant. But here's intently But here's
- 3:50Speaker 2: where I went wrong. Didn't even put a straw in
- 3:53Speaker 2: her bag. Dude, that's the worst it is, Like, that's
- 3:56Speaker 2: that's like, look, you could get the order wrong. That happens,
- 3:59Speaker 2: but every bad, wrong or right supposed to have a straw,
- 4:02Speaker 2: isn't it.
- 4:02Speaker 5: Well, I know, I know they didn't pick up someone
- 4:06Speaker 5: else's bag with someone else's name, because I met the person.
- 4:09Speaker 5: I go, who you looking for? She says Deborah. I'm like,
- 4:12Speaker 5: I'll take that, thank you, Christy.
- 4:14Speaker 2: But the crazy thing is is like never is the
- 4:16Speaker 2: only human being in the world that drinks milk as
- 4:18Speaker 2: an adult with a burger. It's so weird. The ever.
- 4:22Speaker 5: No, you're right, it's the only adult I was gonna
- 4:25Speaker 5: say as a kid.
- 4:27Speaker 2: But I don't know another adult that drinks milk with
- 4:29Speaker 2: their food anymore. I which I have always found funny,
- 4:32Speaker 2: like the Whole Burger and like milkshake thing, or like man,
- 4:35Speaker 2: we are really dominating cattle on this one. We're eating
- 4:40Speaker 2: their body and then we're drinking what they got. If
- 4:43Speaker 2: they are hitting them from both sides, say poop tomatoes,
- 4:46Speaker 2: we'd have them.
- 4:49Speaker 6: Like it's even worse. Never opens up the box of
- 4:52Speaker 6: the sandwich.
- 4:52Speaker 2: What are you? The first thing she says. She knows
- 4:55Speaker 2: it's the wrong sandwich. But on top of that, what's
- 4:57Speaker 2: the first thing she says, where's my milk?
- 4:59Speaker 7: No?
- 5:00Speaker 2: Maybe rosal? No, no, no, she goes, it's got lettice.
- 5:04Speaker 2: Because now everybody's freaking out. I think they're gonna get
- 5:06Speaker 2: like death defying Dodo if they eat one shred of lettuce,
- 5:11Speaker 2: and she'ld be nobody. She close that box up and
- 5:12Speaker 2: is done with it. That is a full sandwich sitting
- 5:14Speaker 2: just like just outside my fingertips.
- 5:16Speaker 4: Well, it's too big of a sandwich too, That's why
- 5:19Speaker 4: I ordered the little bird. Yeah, it's a perfect meal.
- 5:22Speaker 4: It's just a little, you know.
- 5:24Speaker 3: A lot.
- 5:24Speaker 2: She gets the kids meal, it's perfect.
- 5:27Speaker 3: Everything else is too much food.
- 5:28Speaker 2: Yeah, you're not a chick fan. Huh, not as much. No,
- 5:32Speaker 2: that's wild because the Chick fil a is right next
- 5:34Speaker 2: to it. I know, Yeah, that's crazy. Actually, I don't
- 5:36Speaker 2: think I've ever seen you order chick flay.
- 5:38Speaker 4: I normally don't. It's something that's ordered for me, but
- 5:41Speaker 4: I don't ever crave it.
- 5:42Speaker 2: Well, you're a beefy girl.
- 5:44Speaker 3: I mean, yes, I know I am.
- 5:46Speaker 2: No, you're not. Just okay, ye.
- 5:49Speaker 3: Know, your vision isn't hurting.
- 5:52Speaker 2: I had beefy King for lunch today, and uh boy,
- 5:55Speaker 2: do they make me feel like a prom king every
- 5:58Speaker 2: time I'm in there? The regular, the regular. Yeah, and
- 6:01Speaker 2: it's just so nice to establish that relationship. I love that.
- 6:05Speaker 2: I'm a funny aspect of your life. I wish I
- 6:07Speaker 2: was a regular anywhere.
- 6:08Speaker 8: I'm not.
- 6:09Speaker 2: It sucks. Wow, I'm surprised that you don't have that
- 6:12Speaker 2: in the back pocket. Dude, I've got like four or
- 6:15Speaker 2: five restaurants. I'm not a regular anywhere. That sucks. I
- 6:19Speaker 2: wish I had a bar I could be a regular at,
- 6:20Speaker 2: but I'm not. I I went there's another bar I
- 6:23Speaker 2: go to always. My girl Carly bartender looks at me
- 6:26Speaker 2: and goes Kona.
- 6:30Speaker 5: Jack, you're a regular anywhere? No, I work at the
- 6:34Speaker 5: places where I'm a regular. Oh my god, dude, Jack,
- 6:37Speaker 5: what are you doing for Christmas? Working a triple?
- 6:40Speaker 2: Yes? Working a triple? About Thanksgiving? What's that double? My job?
- 6:49Speaker 2: Before here?
- 6:50Speaker 5: I was a bartender, and so that would be my
- 6:54Speaker 5: bar experience of socializing. I didn't need to go to
- 6:58Speaker 5: bars because I was working. I got I got you,
- 7:01Speaker 5: so was always working.
- 7:03Speaker 2: But you have a pizza Don't you have a pizza
- 7:04Speaker 2: place you go to like almost exclusively.
- 7:07Speaker 5: Yeah, but that's me. I go to the counter, I
- 7:10Speaker 5: you know, I hand them the money and I leave.
- 7:12Speaker 9: Do they know?
- 7:13Speaker 2: You? Don't mean? Do they recognize you after coming back
- 7:15Speaker 2: in a couple of times? See you got? That's on you.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Still you gotta be proactive of going. Man, you compliment
- 7:23Speaker 2: the food and try to get to know somebody. Now
- 7:26Speaker 2: here's the thing. I know enough people. You don't enough people.
- 7:30Speaker 2: People don't like. Two weeks ago we were talking about
- 7:32Speaker 2: how you don't have friends. Well, yes, I don't have friends,
- 7:35Speaker 2: but I know enough people. Checkmate, I guess I don't
- 7:41Speaker 2: know what to say that to that, I don't I
- 7:45Speaker 2: don't know what function.
- 7:49Speaker 5: What they say is if I can't generate friendships out
- 7:52Speaker 5: of the people I already know, I don't need them.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Like when I walk too much, too much work, Oh
- 7:56Speaker 2: my god, whenever I walk into BV King.
- 7:59Speaker 3: I got a sandwich for you, Jack, There's.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Plenty of people. There's plenty of people that are like,
- 8:06Speaker 2: who is this guy? Because I walk in going my
- 8:08Speaker 2: beefy family, beefy lineage. And then I get to talk
- 8:12Speaker 2: because they always hire like young like high schoolers for
- 8:15Speaker 2: baseball and football team. So I always try to catch
- 8:18Speaker 2: up on the record. Yeah, I get invested, all right. Yeah,
- 8:22Speaker 2: I don't have any of That sucks when I lived different,
- 8:25Speaker 2: bald when I had it a little bit. But I
- 8:27Speaker 2: don't have it out there. God, it sucks. I'm the
- 8:29Speaker 2: only one who's a regular at any place yourself.
- 8:33Speaker 5: Know, you go and you, I mean, yeah, you are
- 8:35Speaker 5: shouting out to strangers, beefy lineage.
- 8:38Speaker 2: People, not strangers, Jack. You just heard me say it.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Family with other strangers there, you know. But you're not
- 8:48Speaker 2: afraid to make a scene.
- 8:49Speaker 5: I'm not shouting if it's busy putting you down as extraver.
- 8:53Speaker 2: I'm not shouting. If it's busy, I'm not shouting. If
- 8:55Speaker 2: it's busy, I'm not gonna let everybody know I'm here.
- 8:58Speaker 2: And here's why. Rule as well. I'm down to waste
- 9:02Speaker 2: someone's thirty seconds of their day, and it's on me
- 9:05Speaker 2: to read the room.
- 9:06Speaker 6: If you figure out which person that is, well, if
- 9:08Speaker 6: you can't afford to give up thirty.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Seconds everyone, it's probably even less than thirty second. Would
- 9:14Speaker 2: I fit that? If I was standing in Bfking and
- 9:16Speaker 2: you came in and you figure you're gonna target somebody
- 9:19Speaker 2: for a thirty second experience, would I be targeted? Well,
- 9:22Speaker 2: it's me testing the waters. Oh, I got you, but yeah,
- 9:24Speaker 2: give me the test question. What would it be? Have
- 9:26Speaker 2: you been here before? Get out of my face? All right?
- 9:31Speaker 2: You see like I'm down, And in that scenario, if
- 9:34Speaker 2: that actually were to happen, I'm very comfortable going. All right,
- 9:38Speaker 2: something's wrong with that guy, and I'm gonna move on.
- 9:41Speaker 2: You should just go just a quick party hug and
- 9:43Speaker 2: I'll get out of your face. No, no luck, no luck.
- 9:46Speaker 2: I'm not gonna touch a stranger.
- 9:47Speaker 6: Right four text seven seven zero three one.
- 9:52Speaker 2: I do need some help from the listeners. We've said
- 9:54Speaker 2: this a billion times over. We have excuse me, we
- 9:58Speaker 2: have the spot. You can't get somebody out there with
- 10:03Speaker 2: a really young, pinky nail.
- 10:05Speaker 4: Oh Lord Jesus, don't make me bring up the chili.
- 10:08Speaker 3: I didn't ask for it.
- 10:09Speaker 2: It's no, no, no, man, it's uh. I have to deal
- 10:13Speaker 2: with something that nobody likes doing. I don't know anyone
- 10:16Speaker 2: that likes doing what I have to do. I have
- 10:18Speaker 2: to shop for appliances. I love doing that. Why do
- 10:21Speaker 2: you love shopping for appliances? They're so damn expensive anymore?
- 10:24Speaker 2: And that, But I mean, I gotta buy a washer
- 10:27Speaker 2: and dryer.
- 10:27Speaker 5: You want to get a deal, but you also it's
- 10:30Speaker 5: something that you're gonna deal with for the next ten
- 10:33Speaker 5: years or more.
- 10:34Speaker 2: You're like, every day, Yeah, there were like twelve hondo
- 10:38Speaker 2: apiece these days. Dude, Now I got it. I think
- 10:40Speaker 2: we're gonna have to wait for the Labor Day sale
- 10:42Speaker 2: because I was online today looking I was.
- 10:43Speaker 3: Like, God, don't it's just a few weeks away.
- 10:46Speaker 2: When did these things happen? When did you go from
- 10:48Speaker 2: six ninety nine for a washer to a twelve hundred bucks.
- 10:51Speaker 5: Mine crapped out. I remember it was Thanksgiving when I
- 10:54Speaker 5: lost my stove and dishwasher.
- 10:56Speaker 2: Yeah, sometimes I remember that. I remember that, dude, I
- 10:59Speaker 2: gonna tell you, I laughed the hardest that year.
- 11:02Speaker 5: And so then like I hopped on and guess what's
- 11:05Speaker 5: the day after Thanksgiving Black Friday. So you know, I
- 11:09Speaker 5: ended up saving a few hundred dollars because I got
- 11:11Speaker 5: I ordered it online, it was.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Delivered in the couple days. They're Labor Day sales up
- 11:16Speaker 2: there as well. But I just didn't know, like I'm
- 11:17Speaker 2: looking for a good brand, because like everything tells you
- 11:20Speaker 2: to buy LG. No No, And I.
- 11:22Speaker 6: Know, look I've dealt with the LG that was LG
- 11:25Speaker 6: Fridges or the lgtvs.
- 11:27Speaker 2: You know, and all that other stuff. Fine, gotcha. I
- 11:29Speaker 2: just I've had my own issues with LG appliances, and
- 11:33Speaker 2: I didn't want to roll the dice again. I wanted
- 11:35Speaker 2: to get like a you know, Maytag or Ge. But man,
- 11:38Speaker 2: I don't even know anything about those companies anymore. I
- 11:41Speaker 2: used to know, Like it used to be, you would
- 11:43Speaker 2: get an idea like when you bought something like who
- 11:45Speaker 2: made it, where it was made, how it was made,
- 11:48Speaker 2: cher it.
- 11:51Speaker 5: We need some type of company that would issue a
- 11:54Speaker 5: report meant for consumers. Maybe they could put it in
- 11:57Speaker 5: print project.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Those people are in play also because those people also
- 12:01Speaker 2: take advertising money.
- 12:02Speaker 6: Consumer reports, Yeah, don't take well. I tried seeing that
- 12:05Speaker 6: today and it's exactly what happened to was seeing it.
- 12:07Speaker 6: I've leaned on seen that for a while.
- 12:09Speaker 5: I know, and I you see that because you know what,
- 12:11Speaker 5: that's free consumer reports. You have to pay for it,
- 12:15Speaker 5: and that's why someone has to pay for it. Therefore
- 12:17Speaker 5: you get advertising. But Amazon reviews, just look at the reviews. Yeah,
- 12:21Speaker 5: the reviews are pretty good. They have a good hit rate.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Yeah, I always assume that Amazon reviews are juiced, you know,
- 12:29Speaker 2: by people aren't juice or paranoid? Are you very paranoid?
- 12:34Speaker 2: I mean people need to sell these appliances, and I'm
- 12:35Speaker 2: gonna get a good deal on a good product. Here
- 12:37Speaker 2: are the two signs. Here are the big two signs
- 12:40Speaker 2: of a good Amazon review. Let me review reviews real fast.
- 12:45Speaker 2: But if you are looking at four K, five thousand reviews,
- 12:50Speaker 2: if it's in the thousand reviews, that's the first green
- 12:53Speaker 2: flag right there. All right? If it's five stars, red
- 12:57Speaker 2: red flag, four and a half, the greenest flat really
- 13:01Speaker 2: four and a half what you're looking for, like it's
- 13:04Speaker 2: five a a lie? Well five of the four and
- 13:06Speaker 2: a half is good. Five is a lie. Yeah, four
- 13:09Speaker 2: star is also pretty solid, but four and a half stars,
- 13:13Speaker 2: four star, you're saving money on the four and a
- 13:15Speaker 2: half star version. He's yep, he's right. But four and
- 13:18Speaker 2: a half stars is the real five stars on the internet.
- 13:22Speaker 2: So I don't think that Appliant's direct isn't in Orlando anymore, right,
- 13:25Speaker 2: I think they're just over on the coast. Is there
- 13:27Speaker 2: a place that does like the scratching dent on top
- 13:30Speaker 2: of that? Because I'm telling you, dude, when you go
- 13:31Speaker 2: like to any of the big box stores and you
- 13:33Speaker 2: look at these things, you know where you normally get
- 13:35Speaker 2: stuff like that, it is blanking unreal. Like I can't imagine,
- 13:39Speaker 2: you know, spending twenty two hundred plus tax and warranty
- 13:43Speaker 2: on a washer and blinking dryer. Yes, scratching dent to thing,
- 13:48Speaker 2: but they don't advertise.
- 13:49Speaker 5: I know they used to have one by the Seers
- 13:51Speaker 5: over on Foresythe and like a Seers scratching it's a
- 13:55Speaker 5: scratching dent by Forsythe. But also I drive by one
- 13:58Speaker 5: in Castlebery it used to be a porn shop and
- 14:01Speaker 5: now it says appliances.
- 14:03Speaker 3: Oh, are you sure there's appliances?
- 14:05Speaker 2: I think you're good to go there.
- 14:07Speaker 3: Are you sure you know what kind of appliance?
- 14:10Speaker 6: I'll visit the I'll visit porn appliances. I'm adult movie,
- 14:14Speaker 6: all right?
- 14:15Speaker 2: Four O seven text us at seven seven is zero
- 14:19Speaker 2: three one. I've got some news.
- 14:20Speaker 4: Yeah, the man charged with killing a United Healthcare ceo
- 14:23Speaker 4: enters a plea. Changes are made to the wording at
- 14:26Speaker 4: the property tax amendment in Florida. And when you didn't
- 14:30Speaker 4: give your endorsement, but they got it anyway. Yeah, Early Holland.
- 14:36Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that's all. This is crazy.
- 14:38Speaker 4: Right, We're gonna talk about that and more coming up
- 14:40Speaker 4: next during JCS News.
- 14:41Speaker 2: Right single break, we'll come back and get depth news
- 14:43Speaker 2: and continue on with the Jim Colburg Show.
- 14:49Speaker 9: That's your Jim.
- 14:50Speaker 2: One word of advice to you, if you're gonna get
- 14:52Speaker 2: an appliance, don't go to Low's or home depot.
- 14:56Speaker 10: You get a defective appliance.
- 14:57Speaker 2: You got forty eight hours to send it back.
- 14:59Speaker 6: Otherwise, as you're stuck with having the factory repped trying
- 15:02Speaker 6: to repair it, go to Costco ninety days you got.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Ooh ooh, he's not like fine advice. By the way,
- 15:11Speaker 2: I can't thank you guys enough. I mean we were
- 15:13Speaker 2: inundated from texts for heads up about this. I actually
- 15:17Speaker 2: just got through texting my wife as I'm making notes
- 15:20Speaker 2: about all these places we can go that we're doing
- 15:21Speaker 2: this tomorrow. So yeah, but he's right.
- 15:25Speaker 5: The last lines I got, the ones I told you
- 15:27Speaker 5: about it was I had forty eight hours that are
- 15:30Speaker 5: like warning, Yeah, make sure hook this up, make sure
- 15:33Speaker 5: it works.
- 15:33Speaker 2: You have forty eight hours to do that's right, could
- 15:35Speaker 2: return it, well, that would be bad news. Yeah, and
- 15:38Speaker 2: I got a Costco membership. I should to just go. Yeah,
- 15:41Speaker 2: I may have to borrow your Costco membership. Dog, I
- 15:43Speaker 2: will charge you. All right.
- 15:44Speaker 3: You didn't even take a break, dude, seven, he didn't.
- 15:50Speaker 2: Even I'm gonna tell you something.
- 15:52Speaker 3: I appreciate that I thought you should.
- 15:54Speaker 2: I really appreciate that you should. I do the same
- 15:57Speaker 2: damn thing you would. All right, welcome back. I'm Jim
- 16:00Speaker 2: Ross is here as well. It's true. Hey, let's get
- 16:03Speaker 2: some news. Here's there. Yeah, yeah for JCS news.
- 16:08Speaker 6: Wow.
- 16:09Speaker 1: This guy gotta put his name on everything.
- 16:10Speaker 2: It's in my contract dead.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Here's the news on the Jim Colber.
- 16:14Speaker 4: Show, and as always JCS news is brought to you
- 16:18Speaker 4: by that mortgage guy. Don give him a listen tomorrow
- 16:20Speaker 4: morning when he's host of the Home Loans radio show.
- 16:23Speaker 4: The man charged with killing United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson
- 16:27Speaker 4: two years ago on a New York City street is
- 16:29Speaker 4: pleading guilty. Luigi Mangioni entered his guilty plea to federal
- 16:33Speaker 4: stalking charges in New York this morning. He faces life
- 16:36Speaker 4: in prison and will be sentenced on December eighteenth. Speaking
- 16:40Speaker 4: in court, Mangioni said he traveled to New York with
- 16:43Speaker 4: the intent of killing Thompson and knew he and said
- 16:47Speaker 4: he knew what he was doing. Mangioni entered his guilty
- 16:50Speaker 4: plea without a plea deal with the federal government in place.
- 16:53Speaker 4: The judge told Mangioni he will not be able to
- 16:55Speaker 4: withdraw his plea if he does not like the sentencing.
- 16:58Speaker 4: Mangoni still faced his state murder charges. What was interesting
- 17:02Speaker 4: in this case was that he admitted right is the
- 17:05Speaker 4: first time. Also Thompson's widow was in the courtroom as well,
- 17:08Speaker 4: the first time that she has made an appearance in
- 17:10Speaker 4: any of these court proceedings. Meanwhile, not a single member
- 17:14Speaker 4: of Mangioni's family has ever been present at any of
- 17:17Speaker 4: his court hearings, including today. But they talked about her
- 17:22Speaker 4: having to hear him admit to the fact that he
- 17:24Speaker 4: stalked her husband. Do you guys know how he was
- 17:26Speaker 4: able to get the information as to where this conference
- 17:29Speaker 4: was happening?
- 17:30Speaker 2: No idea.
- 17:31Speaker 4: He called and pretended to be an investor with I
- 17:34Speaker 4: believe up to allegedly fifty million dollars looking to invest
- 17:38Speaker 4: and that's how he was able to get the information
- 17:40Speaker 4: as to what hotel.
- 17:42Speaker 3: Wow exactly, Wow and three D printed the gun.
- 17:44Speaker 4: So it's not like you can even go after a
- 17:46Speaker 4: gun dealer for selling him the weapon.
- 17:48Speaker 2: Wow didn't know that either.
- 17:49Speaker 4: Yeah, he crazy printed the gun all right. Thanks to
- 17:52Speaker 4: a judge's ruling, Florida's Attorney General is being forced to
- 17:55Speaker 4: change the wording on Amendment three, the property tax referendum
- 17:59Speaker 4: political sign into Doctor Susan McManus doesn't think many voters
- 18:02Speaker 4: are even gonna notice.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Most people never read Amendment three the first time. They
- 18:09Speaker 3: don't know what it is, They don't know about it.
- 18:11Speaker 4: The original title of the proposed amendment was save our
- 18:14Speaker 4: Homes from Excessive Property Taxes, but the new title is
- 18:18Speaker 4: Increased Homestead Exemption. Wording promising property taxes would be fully
- 18:22Speaker 4: eliminated in the future has also been mixed. Meanwhile, the
- 18:26Speaker 4: Florida Sheriff's Association recently announced their opposition to Amendment three
- 18:31Speaker 4: again the property tax cut referendum on November's ballot.
- 18:34Speaker 2: Palm Beach County Sheriff Rig Bradshaw no relation, you know.
- 18:38Speaker 4: But what was interesting anyone watching us on the YouTube
- 18:41Speaker 4: channel saw Jimmy actually physically recoil back as I said
- 18:45Speaker 4: the name Bradshaw. It was like God, not another one,
- 18:47Speaker 4: Not another one, Jesus all right? Well, Paul Beach County
- 18:50Speaker 4: Sheriff Ric Bradshaw says some smaller municipalities right thing to bury,
- 18:55Speaker 4: Other smaller towns may wind up without a tax base.
- 18:59Speaker 2: They won't have a tax base. It'll all be exibed,
- 19:02Speaker 2: so they won't be able to collect taxes to pay
- 19:05Speaker 2: for the law enforcement and fire services that they have now.
- 19:08Speaker 4: He says legislators should instead find other ways to give
- 19:11Speaker 4: tax relief to residents. Congressman Byron Donalds, however, the leading
- 19:16Speaker 4: candidate for a governor, says he wants to go even
- 19:18Speaker 4: further than Amendment three.
- 19:20Speaker 6: My goal is.
- 19:21Speaker 1: Still repealing home to their property taxes.
- 19:23Speaker 6: I think that's important for the people in our state.
- 19:26Speaker 2: Make Florida home Now.
- 19:27Speaker 4: The proposed amendment needs sixty percent support to pass.
- 19:30Speaker 3: All right.
- 19:31Speaker 4: Early voting is wrapping up ahead of the August eighteenth primary.
- 19:34Speaker 4: The statewide early voting period runs through tomorrow, Saturday, August fifteenth,
- 19:39Speaker 4: so that ready, so Florida had nearly thirteen point five
- 19:44Speaker 4: million registered voters as of July thirty first, and elections
- 19:47Speaker 4: officials are encouraging eligible voters to make a plan to
- 19:50Speaker 4: cast their ballots before polls close on Tuesday. Voters can
- 19:54Speaker 4: check with their local elections office for polling locations in times,
- 19:58Speaker 4: usually you want to check with your your particular county.
- 20:01Speaker 4: But normally you can vote like at the library and
- 20:04Speaker 4: other early polling sites. However, on Tuesday, you will not
- 20:07Speaker 4: be able to use those. You'll have to go to
- 20:09Speaker 4: your precincts. Really, yes, all right. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis
- 20:14Speaker 4: is weighing in on next week's primary, where in battled
- 20:17Speaker 4: Florida Congressman Corey Mills is looking for another term. What
- 20:21Speaker 4: say you, Governor DeSantis.
- 20:23Speaker 11: I have not endorsed Corey Mills, and I do not
- 20:26Speaker 11: support Corey Mills.
- 20:28Speaker 2: Whoa as a shot fired.
- 20:31Speaker 3: Yeah, fellow Republican Congress.
- 20:35Speaker 4: Fellow Republican congress Members Anna Paulina Luna and Mike Heradopoulos
- 20:40Speaker 4: have both endorsed mills opponent Ryan Elijah. You'll recognize that name.
- 20:44Speaker 4: He's the former Fox thirty five News anchor. Mills previously
- 20:48Speaker 4: had the quote complete and total endorsement end quote from
- 20:51Speaker 4: President Trump, but was left out this week from his
- 20:53Speaker 4: nearly two dozen Florida Republican endorsements ahead of the primary.
- 20:58Speaker 4: For those who do not know, Congressman for Florida's seventh
- 21:01Speaker 4: district is under investigation by the House Ethics Committee one
- 21:05Speaker 4: I believe of two investigations. Mills, however, stresses that he
- 21:08Speaker 4: has never been criminally charged and denies being contacted by
- 21:12Speaker 4: the Department of Justice about a possible DOJ investigator.
- 21:16Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 21:16Speaker 2: I found out that Trump did not endorse Corey Mills.
- 21:19Speaker 2: You know, I found out. Ryan Elijah ran to Facebook.
- 21:23Speaker 2: I mean my man ran to Facebook and said Donald
- 21:26Speaker 2: Trump just released his twelve endorsements and Corey Mills was
- 21:29Speaker 2: not one of them. That's how I found out.
- 21:31Speaker 3: Is that how you found out?
- 21:32Speaker 2: Immediately?
- 21:32Speaker 1: Dude?
- 21:32Speaker 2: He told her.
- 21:33Speaker 3: It sounds like such anes so a show, doesn't it.
- 21:36Speaker 4: Speaking of that, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer delivered his State
- 21:39Speaker 4: of the City addressed today, recognizing accomplishments and plans for
- 21:42Speaker 4: the future. But you didn't know this, but Dyer says
- 21:45Speaker 4: the city's wastewater advanced Treatment site attracts bird watchers from
- 21:51Speaker 4: around the globe.
- 21:53Speaker 2: Yes, that's right.
- 21:55Speaker 5: We are the only city in America that has turned
- 21:58Speaker 5: your number two into a number one tourist attraction.
- 22:02Speaker 2: Hey, there's something good with politics, right. I don't know
- 22:06Speaker 2: how to feel about that. I don't like that at all.
- 22:09Speaker 2: He's bragging that our sewage treatment plants attract Yeah, okay.
- 22:16Speaker 2: The reason why I don't like it is because you
- 22:18Speaker 2: got to flex a little harder. I need more audio
- 22:21Speaker 2: drops of acomplishments.
- 22:24Speaker 3: I had different I had different ones.
- 22:26Speaker 4: I had one with a property tax and memoir and
- 22:28Speaker 4: one with the sidewalks.
- 22:29Speaker 2: Absolutely, I like it again.
- 22:31Speaker 5: But it's good because he uses that to distract from
- 22:34Speaker 5: the fact that he's killed downtown.
- 22:39Speaker 2: I'm sorry the nightlife.
- 22:42Speaker 3: I thought you were going to say the Swans.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Thanks for clarifying. Yeah.
- 22:45Speaker 4: Yeah, Well, Dyer did tout the improved upkeep of the
- 22:48Speaker 4: city streets and safety investments has greatly reduced pedestrian fatalities,
- 22:52Speaker 4: making Orlando actually a safe place to walk. During his
- 22:56Speaker 4: City of the state of the City address, he said,
- 22:58Speaker 4: you know, we had been number one for pedestrian deaths,
- 23:01Speaker 4: but we've made so many improvements. But that now nationally
- 23:04Speaker 4: we're being recognized for the improvements that they've made to
- 23:07Speaker 4: make Orlando a safer.
- 23:08Speaker 3: City to walk in.
- 23:09Speaker 2: That's good.
- 23:09Speaker 3: That is that's very very good.
- 23:11Speaker 4: And I mean if your wastewater treatment plant can do anything,
- 23:13Speaker 4: I mean, at least it's attracting, you know, birdwatchers.
- 23:16Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 23:16Speaker 2: So like he's, well, are we trying to make that
- 23:19Speaker 2: a big deal that we turned on a poop facility
- 23:22Speaker 2: into a bird spot. I mean, he's just got to
- 23:24Speaker 2: be laugh with it. Yeah, I mean, I don't know
- 23:26Speaker 2: how much more you need. You know, that seemed like
- 23:28Speaker 2: a rejoiceful I'm just happy that wasn't like, guys, we
- 23:31Speaker 2: need an we need a press conference, right, Yeah, we
- 23:34Speaker 2: need to tell the people there are other things good
- 23:37Speaker 2: gather around.
- 23:38Speaker 3: Yeah, Yeah, Love and hip hops.
- 23:40Speaker 4: Betty Idel, whose real name is Salom Jackson, is facing
- 23:44Speaker 4: money laundering and grand theft charges. She's accused of pocketing
- 23:47Speaker 4: nearly two hundred thousand dollars for the sale of eva
- 23:51Speaker 4: Velusia County property that wasn't hers.
- 23:53Speaker 2: Okay.
- 23:54Speaker 4: Detectives say someone posed as the real owners of the
- 23:57Speaker 4: vacant Orange City land and put it on the market.
- 23:59Speaker 4: The buyer wired the money to a fake business account
- 24:03Speaker 4: track to the forty year old reality TV personality who's
- 24:06Speaker 4: appeared on several different reality TV shows. Her bond was
- 24:09Speaker 4: set at a mere two hundred seventy five thousand dollars.
- 24:13Speaker 4: Oh man, all right, and then oh man, you and
- 24:16Speaker 4: I were referencing this before the show, Jimmy. But just
- 24:19Speaker 4: an absolutely tragic and senseless story out of Lake County
- 24:24Speaker 4: where two people are dead after a property dispute turned violent.
- 24:28Speaker 4: In Mount Dora, the Sheriff's office announced yesterday a man
- 24:31Speaker 4: shot a woman Wednesday in Mount Dora through the window
- 24:33Speaker 4: of her car, before moving her body into the back
- 24:37Speaker 4: of her vehicle, covering her with a blanket, then going
- 24:40Speaker 4: home and shooting himself. Yep, neither has been identified, but
- 24:44Speaker 4: again they say they had been a long gooing, ongoing
- 24:47Speaker 4: dispute over property lines.
- 24:48Speaker 2: Yeah. Man, it's so tragic. It's unbelievable.
- 24:52Speaker 3: What did it solve?
- 24:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean what did it solve?
- 24:55Speaker 12: All Right?
- 24:56Speaker 4: Van Health and Daytona Beach is wrapping up a major expansion.
- 24:59Speaker 4: The project included five news stories added between two existing
- 25:03Speaker 4: towers and one hundred new beds. A new parking lot
- 25:06Speaker 4: with hundreds of spaces has also been built to improve
- 25:08Speaker 4: accessibility for patients, visitors, and staff. A ribbon cutting ceremony
- 25:13Speaker 4: for the hospital expansion is scheduled for Wednesday, August twenty six.
- 25:17Speaker 4: But that's not all good news for Embry Riddle University
- 25:20Speaker 4: students and drivers who pass by.
- 25:21Speaker 3: It's Daytona Beach Campus.
- 25:23Speaker 4: Governor Rond DeSantis has announced the early start to Clyde
- 25:26Speaker 4: Morris Boulevard improvements.
- 25:29Speaker 11: This fully funded, fifty six million dollar investment will support
- 25:34Speaker 11: three miles of improvements and will significantly improve safety for
- 25:38Speaker 11: students and the swift movement of traffic along this heavily
- 25:42Speaker 11: travailed corridor.
- 25:43Speaker 3: Yeah, he says.
- 25:44Speaker 4: The project will include a pedestrian tunnel under Clyde Morris good. Yeah,
- 25:48Speaker 4: So that's good Meanwhile, a plan to improve traffic congestion
- 25:51Speaker 4: for Orange County is on hold. The Winter Gardens City
- 25:54Speaker 4: Commission met last night to discuss a traffic improvement plan
- 25:58Speaker 4: for Avalon Road very lightly travel very lightly traveled. Yeah,
- 26:03Speaker 4: but the plan was pulled from the agenda. The plan
- 26:05Speaker 4: called for roundabouts, reduced speed limits, and four way stops.
- 26:09Speaker 4: Some residents question if those changes were really going to
- 26:12Speaker 4: be enough to especially if the city's population continues to grow.
- 26:16Speaker 4: There's no word on why the agenda item was pulled
- 26:19Speaker 4: or what happens next. What do you think Wintergarden going
- 26:22Speaker 4: to continue to grow?
- 26:23Speaker 2: Yes, a lot at an alarming rate, by exactly exactly.
- 26:27Speaker 2: I think Wintergarden Clairmont maybe two of the hottest areas
- 26:29Speaker 2: in all of Orlando right now.
- 26:30Speaker 4: Wild Wood, Groveland, all those areas that used to be
- 26:33Speaker 4: so sleepy.
- 26:34Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I like Claremont, man a lot of hills
- 26:36Speaker 2: and some pills. Well, the thing is, there was no
- 26:40Speaker 2: One of the best Mexican restaurants I've rate in my
- 26:42Speaker 2: entire life was in Groveland, Florida. I thought they're doing
- 26:45Speaker 2: some real estate work for my wife, and I popped
- 26:47Speaker 2: into this place expecting nothing, and it was game changing. Oh,
- 26:50Speaker 2: I bet so amazing.
- 26:51Speaker 3: Those are some of the best places, those hole in
- 26:53Speaker 3: the walls, although you got to be careful.
- 26:54Speaker 2: And by the way, there's nowhere else to develop. We
- 26:56Speaker 2: talked about this before. When you build that infrastructure, he
- 26:58Speaker 2: gets out there pretty quick. There's just simply nowhere else
- 26:59Speaker 2: to hour to go. It had to be there, all right.
- 27:02Speaker 4: And then finally, Norwegian soccer star Earling Holland was already
- 27:06Speaker 4: a big star, right.
- 27:07Speaker 2: Yes, unfortunately because he plays for Manchester City.
- 27:10Speaker 4: Sorry, move on, I know, I know, I took that
- 27:13Speaker 4: part out. I wasn't evenna mention that, so jelly. Of course,
- 27:17Speaker 4: his profile rose even more thanks to that strong World
- 27:20Speaker 4: Cup showing and the way he just embraced American culture.
- 27:23Speaker 6: Right.
- 27:24Speaker 4: We don't see anyone else get off their plane with
- 27:26Speaker 4: a stuffed raccoon with a bottle of whiskey in its Paul.
- 27:28Speaker 2: Oh, they got could take over America in like a
- 27:30Speaker 2: week and a half. He's super likable. Anyone over my
- 27:34Speaker 2: favorite country, okay, your favorite.
- 27:40Speaker 4: Well, it turns out Earling Holland has hit the big
- 27:42Speaker 4: time after police and Ecuador seized over a thousand pounds
- 27:47Speaker 4: of packaged cocaine that had stickers with his face all
- 27:51Speaker 4: over it?
- 27:52Speaker 2: Is it flattering?
- 27:53Speaker 4: The three hundred and seventy packages of Holland faced booger
- 27:56Speaker 4: sugar were found in the false bottom of a truck
- 27:59Speaker 4: that Anti Nark Hottock's agents pulled over on the Pan
- 28:02Speaker 4: American Highway. You kind of don't know if you feel
- 28:04Speaker 4: like you've made it or did I really make it?
- 28:07Speaker 4: I mean, I guess it shows cartels have a sense
- 28:10Speaker 4: of humor because they say those stickers help identify who
- 28:14Speaker 4: made it, who their clients are. Holland isn't the only
- 28:17Speaker 4: World Cup star to get the drug packaging treatment. I'm
- 28:20Speaker 4: sure you can imagine another mess Yeah, there you go,
- 28:24Speaker 4: Argentine captain and global superstar Lionel Messe.
- 28:27Speaker 2: That's some good stuff there.
- 28:30Speaker 4: Has also wound up on the packaging. So did they
- 28:35Speaker 4: send him one so you can frame it?
- 28:37Speaker 2: I mean, well, you would assume that Messi's coke would
- 28:40Speaker 2: be way better. I don't know. The coke scene is
- 28:43Speaker 2: a Norway.
- 28:43Speaker 5: That's got to be a pretty damn good feeling. If
- 28:46Speaker 5: you are conducting one of these raids and you're looking looking,
- 28:49Speaker 5: and then you discovered the false bottom in the yes, yes, yeah,
- 28:55Speaker 5: and it's weird because they even package him up where
- 28:58Speaker 5: it's like a piece of string or a piece of pain.
- 29:00Speaker 2: Person. When you pull the cap off with it, it's
- 29:02Speaker 2: supposed to be like the cap that's welded on, a
- 29:04Speaker 2: little flap will will fall out, and they'll pull that
- 29:06Speaker 2: flap and it's rigs, so it pulls out the entire
- 29:08Speaker 2: line from me to you of bricks of coke, just
- 29:11Speaker 2: one after the other. Really, Oh yeah. When they pile
- 29:14Speaker 2: it out at the bottom of the truck, it's a
- 29:15Speaker 2: gigantic pile. A whole bunch of cocaine, a whole bunch
- 29:20Speaker 2: of cocaine.
- 29:21Speaker 3: Hey, Earling Holland endorses you, just.
- 29:23Speaker 2: Getting I think Earling Holland would actually have the better cocaine.
- 29:27Speaker 2: He's big, white and like powerful and then miss Brown cocaine. Yeah, mess,
- 29:34Speaker 2: he's small. He's got a left foot, you know, kissed
- 29:36Speaker 2: by God. I get it, but I understand Argentina Norway.
- 29:40Speaker 4: But sure either way, that concludes your JCS news.
- 29:49Speaker 2: I get it. He did the line of blow and
- 29:51Speaker 2: then the baseline was too fast. I get it. That's
- 29:53Speaker 2: a good joke. Wow, you're very good.
- 29:55Speaker 3: We practiced it all right.
- 29:58Speaker 2: One text us at seven seven zero three one see
- 30:01Speaker 2: your sale and Imber's only next here on the Gym

- 31:21Speaker 2: in the yiz.
- 31:23Speaker 6: How was the drummer. The drummer she anaka Miles. She
- 31:26Speaker 6: was on Niles. I think was absolutely incredible. I have
- 31:31Speaker 6: nothing but great things to say about her. She was
- 31:33Speaker 6: as awesome, whole new energy to the band.
- 31:35Speaker 2: If you would have told, if you'd have told me
- 31:37Speaker 2: in the eighties, as I was a kid, to choose
- 31:39Speaker 2: a band of all the bands that I loved that
- 31:41Speaker 2: I thought would last four decades plus and still be
- 31:44Speaker 2: a absolute thriving and absolute thriving force even after losing
- 31:49Speaker 2: arguably the most popular person in their band. I would
- 31:53Speaker 2: have never guessed. I wouldn't put one dollar on that.
- 31:55Speaker 2: But these guys have persevered, and man, they have found
- 31:57Speaker 2: a niche in music where people it is cultish. Really
- 32:01Speaker 2: they love them.
- 32:02Speaker 6: Yeah, it was their four nights there, and I think
- 32:04Speaker 6: that was fresh off of four nights stint in Madison.
- 32:07Speaker 2: Square the Timeless too. They're not young anymore, they can
- 32:10Speaker 2: still do it and of course maybe have one of
- 32:11Speaker 2: the most talented dudes of music with Getty Lee.
- 32:14Speaker 6: I can't believe how good they held it and Alex
- 32:17Speaker 6: likeson on guitar. Wow, and I mean they were like thirty.
- 32:20Speaker 2: I don't know. I have a friend. You were talking
- 32:22Speaker 2: about the cultish like personality of their fan base. I
- 32:25Speaker 2: have a friend who's seen them sixty plus times. Oh man,
- 32:28Speaker 2: really yeah, I got the tattoo on the calf and everything. Yeah, badass,
- 32:32Speaker 2: I've only seen them price. Yes, very nice. Or let's
- 32:34Speaker 2: get to it. Of course you are the three Jim
- 32:36Speaker 2: you are, thanks, but I appreciate that. You're the food
- 32:39Speaker 2: critic for the Orlando Weekly. What are you critiquing this week?
- 32:42Speaker 2: Let's start with top Tamera Heritage.
- 32:45Speaker 6: Yeah, Tomorrow Heritage, So this is going to do. They're
- 32:49Speaker 6: billing it as a Michelin Star caliber Indian restaurant. That's
- 32:54Speaker 6: from the same folks who own Tomorrow Modern Indian Cuisine
- 32:57Speaker 6: down by the Attractions and Tomorrow Lake Mary, which are
- 33:00Speaker 6: reviewed back in June and noted for their incredible I
- 33:04Speaker 6: mean absolutely incredible lamb shots, their Afghani style lamb shots.
- 33:07Speaker 6: So anyway, they're opening right in the heart of downtown.
- 33:10Speaker 6: You know where they're opening where Rusty Spoon used to be,
- 33:13Speaker 6: right oh way, yeah, yeah, fifty five West Church Street.
- 33:17Speaker 6: They're they're aiming to be open by the end of
- 33:20Speaker 6: the year, and they're going to be presenting set menus
- 33:23Speaker 6: and tasting menus because you know, they want to go
- 33:25Speaker 6: after the you know, the Michelin Star. Sure, but it's
- 33:28Speaker 6: really interesting that whole area. I just drove through it
- 33:30Speaker 6: to this afternoon, and there's like a revitalization thing happening
- 33:35Speaker 6: in that area. I think they're trying to be a
- 33:37Speaker 6: little more inviting, a little more people friendly, pedestrian friendly.
- 33:41Speaker 6: So this, you know, the timing of this restaurant may
- 33:44Speaker 6: be just sweet, you know, for for the owners. You know,
- 33:48Speaker 6: it may just draw a lot of a lot of
- 33:49Speaker 6: foot traffic.
- 33:50Speaker 2: Well we know that. I think they are planning like
- 33:53Speaker 2: a revitalization of downtown. I've seen some renderings of that
- 33:56Speaker 2: entire plaza that's right across the street from that restaurant,
- 33:59Speaker 2: so uh, that'll be the case. It looks like that
- 34:01Speaker 2: could be one of the anchors they're leaning on to
- 34:03Speaker 2: do so, so we'll look forward to that.
- 34:04Speaker 6: Yeah, and Indian Restaurant to boot, so that's yea, yeah,
- 34:08Speaker 6: that'll be very interesting. I hope, I hope they succeed,
- 34:11Speaker 6: and I hope the food is you know, just half
- 34:13Speaker 6: as good as it is at the Tomorrow and Lake Mary,
- 34:15Speaker 6: which is very good for sure.
- 34:16Speaker 2: Let's move on to Creo inside East End Market. That
- 34:19Speaker 2: seems to be the starting place or so many, so
- 34:21Speaker 2: many hipster restaurants here in central Florida the jumping point.
- 34:26Speaker 6: Yeah, you're right, maybe Koreo will end up being brick
- 34:28Speaker 6: and mortar. But the Creo they've opened up in the
- 34:31Speaker 6: old La fem de Fromage stalled the cheese, the cheesemonger
- 34:34Speaker 6: salt in East End Market and they're specializing in Venetian snacks.
- 34:39Speaker 2: It's called chicetti and Chigeti.
- 34:42Speaker 6: It can be anything from like salads to meat balls
- 34:45Speaker 6: to like you know, stretchy hotello on house meat bread,
- 34:48Speaker 6: roasted egg plants, stuff like that.
- 34:50Speaker 2: They're gonna have like a rotating menu of entrees as well.
- 34:53Speaker 6: But yeah, Italian Fair they just recently opened, I think
- 34:56Speaker 6: last week they saw off open, So check them out.
- 34:59Speaker 2: Right, and.
- 35:02Speaker 5: Oh wow, we get a better connection with him when
- 35:04Speaker 5: he's in Canada than we do.
- 35:09Speaker 2: Exactly, I'm looking at this menu as we kind of
- 35:12Speaker 2: waited for him to unfreeze. It almost was like that
- 35:14Speaker 2: that was I was the thunder. I don't know if
- 35:15Speaker 2: I'm back, you're you're here, Yes, big storm out there.
- 35:20Speaker 2: It kind of looks like Italian tapis a little bit right,
- 35:22Speaker 2: like these are are these exactly? Yeah?
- 35:24Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, So it's it's called, like I said, chickatti,
- 35:27Speaker 6: which are like Venetian snacks. And if you remember at
- 35:29Speaker 6: the in the Milk House in the Milk District, Pizza
- 35:32Speaker 6: Bruno Bruno Bruno Zucchini opened up a place there called
- 35:36Speaker 6: Chicketti for a very short period of time when the
- 35:38Speaker 6: Milkhouse opened, initially opened, and he was the first one
- 35:42Speaker 6: to bring these sort of Venetian small bites. You know,
- 35:44Speaker 6: we had little sardines and things like that, so little
- 35:47Speaker 6: snacks to have with you know, paired with drinks. But
- 35:49Speaker 6: of course alcoholisn't isn't offered here at Creo, but you
- 35:52Speaker 6: can still pop by and have some Italian snacks.
- 35:55Speaker 2: Very nice Korea right there right there inside East End
- 35:57Speaker 2: Market and again there's so many great little things to
- 35:59Speaker 2: discover what or there, So that'll be just another great
- 36:02Speaker 2: place to do that.
- 36:04Speaker 6: Indeed, indeed, there's a lot right check them out. Let's
- 36:06Speaker 6: talk about Mills Night Market. Okay, so this is like
- 36:10Speaker 6: fresh fresh news. I haven't even written about this one yet. So, uh,
- 36:13Speaker 6: Mills Night Market will essentially be the nighttime yang to
- 36:18Speaker 6: the daytime Yen.
- 36:20Speaker 2: Of Mills Market.
- 36:21Speaker 6: It's it's joined at the hip at Mills Market and
- 36:24Speaker 6: it's where that little Saigon restaurant used to be, right
- 36:27Speaker 6: at the corner of Mills.
- 36:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 36:28Speaker 6: So it's a pretty large restaurant, and so they're going
- 36:31Speaker 6: to open up a night market. It's gonna have a
- 36:33Speaker 6: completely different vibe. It'll be a little more relaxed, a
- 36:36Speaker 6: little more energy, catered more for the night time crowd,
- 36:39Speaker 6: and inside will be a hidden space that will house
- 36:43Speaker 6: a Majong parlor if you guys play majo on. But
- 36:46Speaker 6: it'll offer like cocktails and nibbles and things like that.
- 36:49Speaker 6: There'll be seven unique food concepts going in which they'll reveal,
- 36:54Speaker 6: you know, in the course of the coming weeks. And
- 36:56Speaker 6: there'll be at a bar there too, serving all kinds
- 36:58Speaker 6: of whiskey sake cocktails, uh sake in general. So yeah,
- 37:03Speaker 6: and they're they're projecting to open in early twenty twenty seven.
- 37:07Speaker 6: Right joined at the hip at mills Market.
- 37:10Speaker 2: Uh fis. I have a huge Mills Market fan. And
- 37:13Speaker 2: because I'm kind of new to mills Market, believe it
- 37:16Speaker 2: or not, I'm only been going there like for the
- 37:19Speaker 2: last six months. I'm addicted to the Ube sesame balls.
- 37:22Speaker 2: I love that little all of the fried banana, the
- 37:25Speaker 2: Japanese fried banana, all of that stuff. What's your favorite
- 37:28Speaker 2: thing in Mills Market? Is it Cowboy Curry? Because that's
- 37:31Speaker 2: my favorite. It was it was Cowboy Curry until Okonomi opened.
- 37:39Speaker 2: Okonomi is the is the like the ten seat sushi
- 37:41Speaker 2: bar right next door, right next to Cowboy Curry. And
- 37:44Speaker 2: I'm telling you if you I was saying, like a
- 37:47Speaker 2: lot of people can't afford to go and eat at
- 37:49Speaker 2: the two Michelin Starsarakara, but they can eat at Okonobe
- 37:53Speaker 2: because all the fish that they're serving at Stoikara, it's
- 37:56Speaker 2: the same fish. It's the same unique cuts that you
- 37:58Speaker 2: won't find really at any other restaurant in town. U
- 38:01Speaker 2: meiaque cuts that he's getting shipped directly from from fishermen
- 38:04Speaker 2: in Japan, and you can get that served to you
- 38:06Speaker 2: at Okonoma for like a fraction of the produce, say
- 38:09Speaker 2: like five bucks for like you know, for for sashimi
- 38:12Speaker 2: or in you give wow. And to anyone listening if
- 38:14Speaker 2: you haven't made your way to Mills Market, it's like
- 38:18Speaker 2: a country in a building. It's like you get to
- 38:22Speaker 2: it's what six restaurants all right next door, not even
- 38:25Speaker 2: next door, all underneath one roof. You get to try
- 38:28Speaker 2: a little this, a little that, some roasted duck fried rice,
- 38:31Speaker 2: all the way to a fresh bow to the Japanese
- 38:35Speaker 2: strawberry sand doos. It is such a cool Orlando awesome,
- 38:39Speaker 2: it's too dope.
- 38:41Speaker 6: Not only that, but next week or maybe in the
- 38:43Speaker 6: next two weeks, Udi Market is going to be opening
- 38:45Speaker 6: up inside there, and that's going to be like a
- 38:47Speaker 6: Japanese style convenience store, you know, like the Japanese seven eleven's.
- 38:50Speaker 6: It's gonna be a Conbini that's opening up right in
- 38:53Speaker 6: the corner space there inside Mills Market.
- 38:54Speaker 2: Very cool. That's awesome Mills Market. That's the night market there,
- 38:58Speaker 2: so check them out.
- 38:59Speaker 6: Yeah, So that'll be early next year. The Mills Night Market,
- 39:03Speaker 6: the well where Little Sigon Restaurant used to be very nice.
- 39:06Speaker 2: Let's move on to six Ravens.
- 39:08Speaker 6: Six Ravens, So everyone knows Gideon's bake House there in
- 39:11Speaker 6: East End Market and Disney Springs. Steve Lewis is the
- 39:14Speaker 6: guy who runs that. So he's just opened up his
- 39:16Speaker 6: new concept called six Ravens and it's specializing on what
- 39:20Speaker 6: he's calling coffin CEO F F y n s and
- 39:23Speaker 6: they're essentially it's essentially an old English word for hand pies.
- 39:27Speaker 6: And what he's done is that he's collaborated with with
- 39:31Speaker 6: some local outfits like Red Panda, Noodle Pizza, Bruno, Pink Salamander,
- 39:35Speaker 6: the Smash Burger Truck and Smoking Donuts to create the
- 39:39Speaker 6: fillings for these handpies. So they've opened up in Disney Springs.
- 39:42Speaker 6: It's I think right around the corner from where the
- 39:45Speaker 6: Gideon's bake House is. And you know, everything this guy touches,
- 39:48Speaker 6: you know, turns into a long wine dude.
- 39:51Speaker 2: Essentially, I was about to say, man again, let's talk
- 39:53Speaker 2: about going back in time and betting. Look, everybody kind
- 39:56Speaker 2: of knew one of the big secrets in Orlando in
- 39:58Speaker 2: the culinary world was Gideon's Cookies because it was only
- 40:00Speaker 2: one location. It was right there. It only made so
- 40:02Speaker 2: many a day. If you didn't get there in time,
- 40:03Speaker 2: you got none. But did you ever think that, I mean,
- 40:06Speaker 2: did you see this thing going so crazy? But this
- 40:08Speaker 2: guy literally is sitting on a giant atm out there
- 40:11Speaker 2: at Disney Springs. He's printing money with these cookies. And
- 40:14Speaker 2: now this new concept looks amazing. Oh he froze up
- 40:18Speaker 2: on me again. Yeah, yeah, it's the thunder Man. Yeah yeah.
- 40:21Speaker 4: There is a severe thunderstorm warning though for Orange and
- 40:24Speaker 4: Ancila County, so we we don't see the weather we're at,
- 40:27Speaker 4: but it is getting pretty hardly.
- 40:32Speaker 2: I love Gideons. I know how good that cookie tastes,
- 40:35Speaker 2: but I have a hard time calling it a cookie. Yeah,
- 40:39Speaker 2: it's weird that. That is one of the big arguments
- 40:41Speaker 2: with gideon Cookies, because it is like it seems to
- 40:44Speaker 2: be like a hybrid. It's a cake of something, it's
- 40:46Speaker 2: not a cake, and that's the thing. It really deserves
- 40:49Speaker 2: its own new word. Yea, that good and that special,
- 40:53Speaker 2: But just having it just like in your mind you
- 40:56Speaker 2: have the picture of what a cookie is, and that
- 40:58Speaker 2: is not what Gideon is man. That is it's better
- 41:02Speaker 2: than a hard drug. Yeah, this guy's like literally printing
- 41:04Speaker 2: money over there. Let's get fire us back on fire
- 41:06Speaker 2: as you there, buddy, I'm here man.
- 41:07Speaker 6: That was like another wicked, wicked crack of thunder that
- 41:10Speaker 6: knocked out our internet.
- 41:11Speaker 2: So hey, so let me ask you about the six
- 41:14Speaker 2: Ravens thing. Is this going to be a continuing rotation
- 41:16Speaker 2: of people who are making these fillings because out of
- 41:19Speaker 2: Disney Springs it's a little different. I mean, as you're
- 41:22Speaker 2: a proprietor, I don't know that you can change that
- 41:24Speaker 2: much that fast. I mean, do you do you know it?
- 41:26Speaker 2: Are these pretty much gonna be the standard offerings?
- 41:28Speaker 6: I think these will be the standard offerings for now,
- 41:31Speaker 6: at least for the at least for the foreseeable future. He's,
- 41:33Speaker 6: like I said, he's partnered up with four local outfits,
- 41:35Speaker 6: But then he also has some recipes of his own,
- 41:38Speaker 6: and he also serves things like I think it's a
- 41:40Speaker 6: smashed potato side, you know, to have with these with
- 41:44Speaker 6: these coffins. So yeah, I think he wants to first
- 41:47Speaker 6: gauge interest, see how it goes, and then maybe add
- 41:50Speaker 6: add to the menu from there.
- 41:52Speaker 2: But you are right. Everything this guy touch turns to
- 41:55Speaker 2: literal gold. It's pretty amazing to watch. The ascension of
- 41:59Speaker 2: Gideon has been on Fias. I've missed it. Did you
- 42:01Speaker 2: try one of the six Raven Coffins yet or you
- 42:04Speaker 2: have not?
- 42:06Speaker 11: No?
- 42:06Speaker 8: I have not.
- 42:07Speaker 6: So they just opened last week ross, so I have
- 42:09Speaker 6: not had a chance to go out there and try
- 42:11Speaker 6: them as yet.
- 42:12Speaker 2: I'm invested, I'm intrigued. Very nice. And then let's end
- 42:15Speaker 2: the track. Let's end up Bias with a Noma Kai Steakhouse.
- 42:19Speaker 6: No maa Kay steakhouse. So this is Noma Kai by
- 42:21Speaker 6: Sushi Saint. If you're if you're going down to Disney Springs,
- 42:24Speaker 6: you may as well pop by Icon Park. And this
- 42:27Speaker 6: is a This is a concept by Mike Lantis who
- 42:29Speaker 6: runs Michelin Stard Sosaki. He has Purlis Pizza, he's got
- 42:33Speaker 6: Sushi Saint. And what this is it's just his take
- 42:36Speaker 6: on a on a an American steakhouse as seen through
- 42:39Speaker 6: a Japanese lens. So he's got like kogi marinated dry
- 42:43Speaker 6: h tomahawks, he's got you know, your typical bone in
- 42:45Speaker 6: revis he'll have things like lobster noodles, sides, of like
- 42:51Speaker 6: Machi truffle potatoes and obviously have sushi and that is
- 42:54Speaker 6: opening August nineteenth, so in five days. If you guys
- 42:58Speaker 6: are heading down that way, check out Noma Kai n
- 43:00Speaker 6: O m I k A I by Sushi Saints in
- 43:04Speaker 6: icon Tark.
- 43:04Speaker 2: Very nice, buddy. Well, look man, we always appreciate a
- 43:06Speaker 2: great job today as always. Uh and it is ironic
- 43:09Speaker 2: that we could talk to you clearly in Toronto but
- 43:12Speaker 2: not in Longwood. I mean I think I could shout
- 43:17Speaker 2: out this window and hear you clear you guys give
- 43:21Speaker 2: it up. Good love for oh and this ride will
- 43:26Speaker 2: be joining us tomorrow night in our poker tournament. Nice.
- 43:29Speaker 2: We'll see them, buddy, I will.
- 43:31Speaker 6: I just hope to do better than I did last year.
- 43:33Speaker 6: That's my only goal me too.
- 43:36Speaker 2: We'll see them. There's the great fires Car four seven

- 44:24Speaker 14: Hey, how's it o'hana? Aloha Friday is here, Jamie Man.
- 44:27Speaker 14: You gotta check out Sunny's Appliances on Palm Springs Road
- 44:31Speaker 14: near four thirty six. Their old school, family owned business.
- 44:34Speaker 14: We've been dealing with them for years. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
- 44:37Speaker 14: There is also an appliance direct in Altamont, but definitely
- 44:40Speaker 14: stayed with g E or Whirlpool, which is actually one
- 44:43Speaker 14: of the same. Yep, and there's gonna be no bad
- 44:46Speaker 14: lunch on Monday. Nobody spend money. The Calvaries coming.
- 44:50Speaker 2: I can't wait. Great weekend all brought aloha.
- 44:53Speaker 9: I'm so tired of the roundabouts and I wish they
- 44:55Speaker 9: would stop putting them everywhere. There is no possible way
- 44:58Speaker 9: you can tell me that that improves safety and traffic
- 45:02Speaker 9: flow over a standard lighted intersection. There's no way possible
- 45:07Speaker 9: that that is the case. It just causes everybody to
- 45:10Speaker 9: either do the awkward back and forth and not move,
- 45:13Speaker 9: or everybody just guns it and you just hope for
- 45:15Speaker 9: the best and white knuckle your way through it.
- 45:18Speaker 2: There's no way it's more safe, I guess obsoutely well.
- 45:22Speaker 2: So for tomorrow, I'm hoping to see my fellow brown
- 45:26Speaker 2: Tanzanian brother fires Garrad. Be nice to catch up. Thanks bye,
- 45:32Speaker 2: You'll be there, buddy. You know you just don't hear
- 45:35Speaker 2: about Mexican jumping beans anymore. Happy Friday crew.
- 45:42Speaker 10: So I was listening to Sink or Sale and Rupert
- 45:45Speaker 10: Holmes got a sail from me, but it was definitely
- 45:47Speaker 10: sailing on a smoky casino about coming out of Cape Canaveral.
- 45:51Speaker 10: But with that being said, I wanted to know if
- 45:53Speaker 10: you guys have seen the guy who generates like AI
- 45:56Speaker 10: generates yacht rock songs like yacht rock covers of other songs,
- 46:01Speaker 10: and he does want to enter Sandman by Metallica, and
- 46:05Speaker 10: it is so good, it's it's should be illegal.
- 46:08Speaker 2: They are really good. All right, I haven't seen it.
- 46:12Speaker 10: Hey, guys, I'm one of the people who voted to
- 46:15Speaker 10: sink it.
- 46:16Speaker 3: It's too depressing.
- 46:18Speaker 9: If I'm on a yacht and I'm rocking, No, we're
- 46:21Speaker 9: not listening to that depressing crap.
- 46:24Speaker 3: Love the show, Thank you, thank you. Don't hold that.
- 46:28Speaker 15: Hey guys, Michael p chicking in great show as always. Ross,
- 46:32Speaker 15: so good to have you back, buddy, sitting out front,
- 46:35Speaker 15: smoking a cigarette and joining a beer, and uh see
- 46:38Speaker 15: two lizards chasing each other. And I'm thinking to myself,
- 46:41Speaker 15: how fast would humans run if we could run as
- 46:44Speaker 15: fast as lizards proportionally?
- 46:47Speaker 2: I don't know, just so thought I had have a
- 46:49Speaker 2: great day.
- 46:49Speaker 6: Guys, right Backwoods Wrapper, which hand you holding that with?
- 46:56Speaker 6: All right?
- 47:00Speaker 2: Thanks to seven seven zero three When I'm gym, there's dead.
- 47:02Speaker 3: But we know which ones you got at seven.
- 47:04Speaker 6: Yea and Ross as well. Roundabouts work, Yeah, roundabouts do work.
- 47:09Speaker 16: You know.
- 47:09Speaker 2: I love that guy's takes. He's one of my favorite,
- 47:12Speaker 2: you know, talkbackers. But I cannot get on board with that.
- 47:15Speaker 2: Every single roundabout I've ever experienced has been very efficient.
- 47:19Speaker 2: It does the job, slows traffic down, people seem to
- 47:23Speaker 2: mind those things better than they do four way stops.
- 47:26Speaker 3: And you'll yeah as well.
- 47:28Speaker 4: The only thing, the only problem I have with roundabouts
- 47:30Speaker 4: is that they ended up putting in roundabouts where we
- 47:33Speaker 4: had never been taught how to use a roundabout. Did
- 47:35Speaker 4: not anyone ever see National lampoons. Vacation, vacation, big Ben,
- 47:40Speaker 4: big Ben? Hey kids, look there's big Ben.
- 47:43Speaker 2: I'll say this to the talkbackers. Point when it's a
- 47:47Speaker 2: two lane roundabout, I'm not the biggest fan of those.
- 47:50Speaker 2: Ye I like one lane round about. I will agree
- 47:53Speaker 2: with that, and I'll tell you where they did this.
- 47:55Speaker 2: You guys ever use US one? You ever drive down
- 47:58Speaker 2: US one at all? Right, So when I go back
- 48:00Speaker 2: to Palacus sometimes I'll go up through Banel and take
- 48:02Speaker 2: US one for a little while. Right, And it's a
- 48:04Speaker 2: two lane concrete highway much like North four forty one
- 48:08Speaker 2: here in Orlando, and they installed roundabouts on that. And
- 48:11Speaker 2: the thing that is that speed limit is sixty five no,
- 48:14Speaker 2: And look they tell you to slow down, they damn
- 48:17Speaker 2: sure don't tell you why. And if you don't see
- 48:18Speaker 2: the red octagon, guess what. You ain't pump at the
- 48:21Speaker 2: brakes like you used to so you have to really
- 48:23Speaker 2: kind of I remember hitting those things. I was like,
- 48:26Speaker 2: they need to tell somebody this is happening. I guess
- 48:28Speaker 2: I'm telling you I want to do it just going
- 48:30Speaker 2: straight right through that thing. But overall, generally speaking, roundabouts
- 48:33Speaker 2: have treated me quite nice. I agree. The ones that
- 48:37Speaker 2: I remember encountering the most were the ones they installed
- 48:40Speaker 2: on the Lake Front Drive going into Sandford from I four.
- 48:44Speaker 2: In other words, the road that goes right in front
- 48:45Speaker 2: of the Zoo, like that road all the way down
- 48:48Speaker 2: to Sandford has roundabouts now and it works quite well.
- 48:51Speaker 2: I think now the combination of roundabouts and speed bumps
- 48:54Speaker 2: is a bit much. Calm down, Calm down, City, Your
- 48:58Speaker 2: budget will be fine. So there is a story today,
- 49:02Speaker 2: and I know you guys have talked about these things.
- 49:03Speaker 2: I've never had one of my life, and I think
- 49:05Speaker 2: somebody on the show may have a small addiction. But uh,
- 49:08Speaker 2: this is one of the fastest growing ideas in the
- 49:13Speaker 2: nation right now, food wise. And the reason I say
- 49:16Speaker 2: that is is one company has dominated this space for
- 49:19Speaker 2: the longest time and they've enjoyed that. But this story
- 49:22Speaker 2: today with Yahoo Life is actually kind of interesting because
- 49:25Speaker 2: they're saying that this now is one of the fastest, biggest,
- 49:28Speaker 2: biggest targeted food items in the US right now. In
- 49:34Speaker 2: other words, people are trying to mimic the OG to
- 49:38Speaker 2: come up with their own that people will like microgreens.
- 49:42Speaker 2: Not micro greens, this is a composed thing that you
- 49:45Speaker 2: can buy. Jack is a gigantic fan. Maybe your kids
- 49:49Speaker 2: would have been as well.
- 49:49Speaker 3: Peanut butter and jelly.
- 49:51Speaker 2: What kind uncrustable dude?
- 49:55Speaker 4: The uncrustable world.
- 49:59Speaker 2: The uncrusted world has exploded apparently, like I had no
- 50:03Speaker 2: idea because I don't have anybody in my family that
- 50:05Speaker 2: eats uncrustables. We're all grown ass people. We trust you
- 50:09Speaker 2: for advice on food. And I'll get ahead of this.
- 50:13Speaker 2: Go figure that one. I'll get ahead of this for
- 50:15Speaker 2: my client here, mister Bradshaw. Jack Bradshaw does not enjoy
- 50:20Speaker 2: uncrustable Yes, he does enjoying crustables. He just talked about
- 50:23Speaker 2: it the other day. Here's the deal.
- 50:25Speaker 5: And Ross, thank you for standing up because they Jimmy
- 50:28Speaker 5: would always make the joke that I have to cut
- 50:30Speaker 5: the cross off. No, I could eat the crust and
- 50:32Speaker 5: I'm fine eating the crust.
- 50:34Speaker 2: You aren't.
- 50:35Speaker 5: I am the uncrustable because I had the knockoff Aldie brand.
- 50:39Speaker 5: It was in the freezer. I'm like, huh, I'll take
- 50:41Speaker 5: this for lunch today, And I'm like, damn, that's good too. Yeah, no, really,
- 50:45Speaker 5: I can have that, or I can have it made
- 50:49Speaker 5: regular on wonderbread or whatever they're serving that day. But
- 50:53Speaker 5: I am saying that because there's a cost of it
- 50:57Speaker 5: becoming an uncrustable. Yeah, and usually I think you would
- 51:02Speaker 5: prefer just normal bread, jelly, peanut butter, safe and you get.
- 51:06Speaker 2: A lot more. Saying he's too cheap to like the
- 51:09Speaker 2: package brought up because you don't get enough for the money.
- 51:12Speaker 2: I was dancing around it like that, but you should
- 51:15Speaker 2: say that, yeah, yeah, Do you know how these things
- 51:17Speaker 2: came about? Do you know how the incrustable came about?
- 51:21Speaker 2: Divorced dads? Not divorced dads, but dads for sure. This
- 51:29Speaker 2: is it was two dads who had picky kids or
- 51:33Speaker 2: kids that were picky eaters, who were especially averse to crust.
- 51:38Speaker 2: And while the friends were spending time together with their families,
- 51:40Speaker 2: their kids asked for crustless peb and Jay sandwiches for lunch.
- 51:43Speaker 2: Their wives, Kristen and Emily, suggest that they should mass
- 51:47Speaker 2: produce crust free snacks, so they did. That's exactly what happened.
- 51:50Speaker 2: And then jams Smucker bought them in nineteen ninety eight,
- 51:52Speaker 2: and by two thousand, uncrustables were in grocery store freezers
- 51:55Speaker 2: everywhere in pre perpetuity. So there you go, just a
- 51:59Speaker 2: couple that's I have figure out a problem for their kids.
- 52:01Speaker 3: They are pretty good though.
- 52:02Speaker 2: I love them.
- 52:03Speaker 4: They are such a great hand snack. We need a
- 52:06Speaker 4: quick protein sugar burst not a lot of food.
- 52:10Speaker 3: They really are. They're convenient, and they're so tasty.
- 52:12Speaker 2: And by the way, they have ones that are like
- 52:14Speaker 2: zero sugar or very low sugar as well. Of course
- 52:17Speaker 2: it's still white process bread. But do they offer them
- 52:19Speaker 2: in like wheat or any other bread styles. I think
- 52:21Speaker 2: they do a really really they do? You know this?
- 52:24Speaker 2: I am fully aware. I get uncrustables a lot. Do
- 52:27Speaker 2: you really eat these things a lot? Dude? It gets
- 52:29Speaker 2: even worse? Are you ready to judge even more? Because
- 52:31Speaker 2: I already feel that you got your size eleven judge
- 52:34Speaker 2: shoes on. Who's here now? I know a lot of
- 52:38Speaker 2: PGA tour players eat these things because it's a really
- 52:40Speaker 2: good little little snack. While they're going and it's a.
- 52:42Speaker 3: Good protein snacks when you're out on the golf course.
- 52:45Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly what.
- 52:46Speaker 4: You can't get back to the clubhouse real quick. You
- 52:48Speaker 4: just pop in on.
- 52:49Speaker 2: Reading the room also looking into a mirror. I am
- 52:52Speaker 2: the biggest uncrustable fan here, really, absolutely. I thought it
- 52:55Speaker 2: was Jack by a billion. He likes peev and Jay's
- 52:58Speaker 2: more thank you like on crustables more than Jack though.
- 53:02Speaker 2: In fact, I even have a little technique. I take
- 53:05Speaker 2: them out of the freezer and then and then I
- 53:09Speaker 2: and then I nest on them like an egg. What
- 53:11Speaker 2: do you mean I see ye Wait a minute, I
- 53:16Speaker 2: used my goog's body warns to heat up my crustables. Whatever. Guys,
- 53:23Speaker 2: you put your sandwiches in your man pocket. Yeah yeah,
- 53:26Speaker 2: and then and that's how I defrosted you. No, it's fine.
- 53:30Speaker 2: I'm still wearing pants.
- 53:33Speaker 3: Just to clarify, I'm gonna say that.
- 53:36Speaker 2: Was the most needed clarity of old time. And it's
- 53:38Speaker 2: kind of nice because it's refreshing because you're like, okay, cool,
- 53:41Speaker 2: and now it's take an a seed seat for the
- 53:43Speaker 2: next twelve minutes. One of the other reasons it's getting
- 53:45Speaker 2: so much heat right now is I guess.
- 53:48Speaker 3: Sitting on the crustables like getting heat because of me.
- 53:51Speaker 2: The Kelsey brothers were talking about these things on their
- 53:54Speaker 2: podcast It's a Travis and Jason Kelcey, right, and they
- 53:57Speaker 2: were talking about how many people in the NFL crushed
- 54:00Speaker 2: these things during games because they're easy to eat. You
- 54:03Speaker 2: do get that carb hit, you get the sugar hit
- 54:05Speaker 2: with a jelly, and you get the protein with the
- 54:07Speaker 2: peanut butter. They're easy to eat. They can just cut
- 54:10Speaker 2: and toss them back when they get hungry. It doesn't
- 54:12Speaker 2: sit on their stomach hard, so they love them.
- 54:14Speaker 5: Two years ago, Hard Knocks you know where they follow
- 54:17Speaker 5: a different football franchise in the off season, and they
- 54:20Speaker 5: were following the New York Giants with their brand new GM.
- 54:23Speaker 5: And then this series opens up with him driving through
- 54:27Speaker 5: like New York and the New Jersey and him just
- 54:30Speaker 5: like eating Uncrustables in the car.
- 54:31Speaker 2: I love these. This one guy out line today is
- 54:34Speaker 2: eating them literally pills just he would take the entire
- 54:36Speaker 2: thing and just stuff it with two fingers into his
- 54:38Speaker 2: mouth to choose and we're gone.
- 54:40Speaker 4: Somebody just texted us at seven seven zero three, one
- 54:43Speaker 4: guys Uncrustable in the air Frar changed my life.
- 54:47Speaker 3: Oh loved the plumber.
- 54:49Speaker 2: That's what I thought Ross was gonna say is that
- 54:51Speaker 2: he put it in a like toasted the side, look
- 54:53Speaker 2: at a pant.
- 54:54Speaker 4: In his own special air Frary's. That's the difference there.
- 54:57Speaker 2: This hair Frar hair. I basically become a penguin crustables. Yeah,
- 55:12Speaker 2: I really do. I'm not proud of it. And also,
- 55:17Speaker 2: just because we're talking about it, let me vent about
- 55:18Speaker 2: my wife. I want the regular bad for you smuckers
- 55:22Speaker 2: on crustable. Oh gee, but my wife gets the super
- 55:27Speaker 2: hoity toity credit score eight twenty incrustables. Yeah, an organic
- 55:33Speaker 2: brand or how much was this? She was like five
- 55:35Speaker 2: six bucks. I'm like, there's four of them. You don't
- 55:38Speaker 2: have to do that. So, like I I love uncrustables,
- 55:43Speaker 2: but I also know that they should never be close
- 55:46Speaker 2: to two dollars a pop. Yeah.
- 55:48Speaker 4: So somebody texted that their daughter makes her uncrustables. That
- 55:51Speaker 4: way she can pick her own bread, the type of
- 55:53Speaker 4: jelly she wants, and also the type of peanut butter.
- 55:55Speaker 4: They're easy to make. She even got a little machine
- 55:57Speaker 4: off Amazon. She can make them run or square damn.
- 56:01Speaker 2: And they have a lot of different I thought it
- 56:02Speaker 2: was like legit, just one product like peanut butter, jelly
- 56:04Speaker 2: and white bread. That's it.
- 56:05Speaker 3: No, there was great. There was strawberry now yeah that
- 56:09Speaker 3: was just to start off.
- 56:09Speaker 2: With just peanut butter. Uh, like una BlackBerry. Yeah, and
- 56:14Speaker 2: nutella is actually what I was thinking next is like
- 56:16Speaker 2: they have to have a nutele one right, I believe
- 56:18Speaker 2: so wow, I haven't rode that dragon yet. That's it.
- 56:22Speaker 2: It's it. They don't call it nutella because they didn't
- 56:24Speaker 2: make the collab deal. They don't want to pay the money,
- 56:25Speaker 2: so they say chocolate flavored hazelnuts spread. Everybody knows. Everybody knows. Also,
- 56:33Speaker 2: while we're in this cold a sack of conversation, you who,
- 56:36Speaker 2: that's not chocolate milk. I just found that out like
- 56:38Speaker 2: this four months ago. No way. Yeah. Temperature. Yeah that's
- 56:42Speaker 2: a dead giveaway. Yeah shouldn't. I should have seen it coming.
- 56:46Speaker 2: You have the dead giveaways. It sticks to crackers. Yeah.
- 56:49Speaker 2: I always just thought like, man, this milk tastes like water. Yeah, yeah,
- 56:53Speaker 2: that's what it is, dude. Uh Yeah. And Crests also
- 56:56Speaker 2: has let's say they have peanut butter and strawberry jam. Him,
- 57:00Speaker 2: peanut butter and grape jelly. That's the O g right
- 57:04Speaker 2: and bright eyed berry to have him with apple jelly
- 57:08Speaker 2: and they have them with honey like Jack was saying, Damn,
- 57:10Speaker 2: that's awesome, dude. What is the best jelly for your
- 57:13Speaker 2: peanut butter and jelly? I'm going strawberry.
- 57:15Speaker 4: I'm strawberry jam. Can't be jelly jelly. I'll only do grape.
- 57:19Speaker 4: Jam's gotta be strawberry.
- 57:20Speaker 2: What about preserves between jam?
- 57:26Speaker 12: Jack?
- 57:26Speaker 2: Then how about marmalades? Wow?
- 57:28Speaker 3: No, I don't like a marmalade too bitter.
- 57:30Speaker 2: Ah, she told you, guys, you what I told my
- 57:39Speaker 2: mom that there was more than two genders. I'm sorry,
- 57:46Speaker 2: I've never thought that that. I was just trying to
- 57:48Speaker 2: all right. Seven, we started to talk about peanut butter
- 57:52Speaker 2: and jelly, and now we're in a trains argument. It's
- 57:56Speaker 2: very bizarre, alright. O one text seven zero three on
- 58:00Speaker 2: Let's take a little break or Whiskey of the Week
- 58:02Speaker 2: is next? A courtesy of Forward Slash.
- 58:08Speaker 12: Hey, guys, checking in from Tucson. It is party mom. Hey,
- 58:13Speaker 12: I love roundabouts for roadaries. They make so much sense.
- 58:17Speaker 12: The traffic goes so much smoother and quicker. They don't
- 58:22Speaker 12: have to wait for a light that lasts forever. They
- 58:25Speaker 12: make so much sense. People anyways, have fun tomorrow. Miss
- 58:30Speaker 12: you guys, smoke weed every day.
- 58:32Speaker 2: Good hearing from you.
- 58:35Speaker 8: Flagber County native here And yeah, I know those roundabouts
- 58:39Speaker 8: up there in Banilla real well. And there's one down
- 58:42Speaker 8: by where Old Dixie and US one medium. The US
- 58:46Speaker 8: one kind of has a sort of a sharp curve there,
- 58:49Speaker 8: and for years there were lots of fatal accidents in
- 58:52Speaker 8: that spot. So I think the roundabout being in there
- 58:56Speaker 8: is a huge blessing. Plus Flagworth County has grown like
- 59:00Speaker 8: crazy with the amount of people around you are correct.
- 59:04Speaker 2: Hey guys, happy day, what's up buddy?
- 59:06Speaker 7: Roundabouts are not difficult if you had a shred of
- 59:09Speaker 7: common sense. You yield to somebody that is already in
- 59:12Speaker 7: the traffic circle. As you approach the traffic circle, slow
- 59:15Speaker 7: down slightly. Look to your left. Is there a vehicle
- 59:17Speaker 7: already in there? If there is, slow down a little more,
- 59:20Speaker 7: let them get past you, and then you fall in
- 59:22Speaker 7: right behind them. The point of a roundabout is to
- 59:24Speaker 7: not come to a complete stop. Idiots had come to
- 59:26Speaker 7: a complete stop or what jams up traffic. Yield to
- 59:29Speaker 7: a car in the circle.
- 59:32Speaker 2: Boom and just like that. All right, welcome ba going
- 59:35Speaker 2: to the Jim Colbert Show, or already one oh four
- 59:37Speaker 2: point one four seven nine six o one. You can
- 59:39Speaker 2: always text us at seven seven zero three one. I'm Jim.
- 59:42Speaker 2: There's dead hello here. Yeah, and so is Ross slaving yourself.
- 59:45Speaker 2: Let's do Whiskey of the Week.
- 59:47Speaker 1: Forward Slash Distillery and Blending House frees and we're st
- 59:51Speaker 1: ons bo.
- 59:54Speaker 2: On the Jim Colbert Show. That's right, Whiskey of the Week,
- 59:56Speaker 2: brought to you by our good friends over at Forward
- 59:58Speaker 2: Slash Distillery and Blending House right there in winter Park.
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: We love these guys. You will as well. The best,
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: I mean the absolute best, and every single Friday we
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: feature one of their wonderful blends in house there and
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: of course if you ever want to visit. I just
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: had a texture earlier. My buddy Ryan texta, he goes, man,
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: you guys did me dirty with Ford Slash. He goes,
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: I went over, had a couple of shots, and he goes,
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: I'm going back tomorrow to buy bottles because he liked
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: it so much. And I think a lot of people
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: when you go over to the room and you meet
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: the guys, Tim Michael and those guys. You will just
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: kind of understand how cool the spot is and we
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: love doing business with them. And if you haven't been
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: over to ford Slash, please do. I think the nicest
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: thing I can say, the biggest compliment I can give
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: to Ford Slash because I love Orlando, and if you
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: love Orlando, it's making Orlando a better city because it's
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: giving us literal culture. And Dude, I gotta tell you,
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: I think they're one of the only blending houses on
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: the East Coast. That's what I mean by making Orlando
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: just that much more of a special place for sure, Jackson,
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: I drove by there today, did you REALI? Matter of fact,
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: I was should stop in. I'm like, I'll drink it later.
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: Drink forward slash dot com and if you want to
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: find them on Insta, please do that and give them
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: a follow and a like that is also drink forward Slash.
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: All right, Well, we're featuring today. It's Rye month. We
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: learned that last week as we featured a rye for them,
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: so we'll feature another rye today. This is the Holt
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: and Capan rye. This is their quintessential rye whiskey utilizing
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: six to seven year old Rye Whiskeys from MGP of Longsburg, Indiana.
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: It's incredibly versatile, delicious on its own, makes a killer
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: Manhattan as well. The mash Bill is a famous ninety
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: five Rye five percent marked malted barley by popular brands
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: like a Bullet, Whistle Pig and countless others. This is
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: part of their legacy series of whiskeys Jack.
- 1:01:44Speaker 5: And it is indeed and it is quite tasty, but
- 1:01:47Speaker 5: I'm out.
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: I drank it all. Oh well, you gotta come and
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: get to mark the whole. So it's so funny because
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: Ross said to me, and I have to tell you,
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: for a while I was in this same bucket, I
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: wasn't a really big fan of Rise because Rise were
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: a little raw for me, and it was just kind
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: of one of those things where when you have Bourbon
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: has that sweet kind of vanilla a little bit of
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: burnt orange in there, you're like you get used to that,
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: and you're like, man, I don't I don't know if
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: I want to go to Rise because rides are a
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: little bit dumb, spicier, and like I said, they don't
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: taste as aged or raw. They're not as mature. It
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: doesn't feel like But man, this one, because it's only
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: ninety proof, is really easy to drink.
- 1:02:28Speaker 5: And I mean, growing up right, it would only be
- 1:02:31Speaker 5: that's that's your standard whiskey, and it would be something
- 1:02:34Speaker 5: you'd mix with something up right, exactly for me, it
- 1:02:36Speaker 5: was always something to be mixed with something else. And
- 1:02:40Speaker 5: so this is like one of the rare times I'm
- 1:02:42Speaker 5: just having a straight rye.
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: And I think it's because of the proof. What do
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: you think, Raws, I mean, I think the proof of
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: being ninety it makes it a little bit more approachable,
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: how about you? All Right, I'm gonna be more than honest. Okay,
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: all right. I like whiskey, I like bourbon. I am
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: not the biggest rye. Now, even this one hunt I
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: had this low alcohol level. I thought it would hitch
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: a little bit better. Well, what's weird is the thorn
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: Hurst rye that is a blended ride that we reviewed
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: last week. Last week, that's one of the best bourbons
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: I've ever had. That's one of the best whiskies I've
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: ever had in my entire life. So at first I
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: thought like maybe I really still really I'm getting into rise. Yeah. Unfortunately,
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: this rye isn't hit me the same way that that
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: thorn hurt, that Thornhurst rye. That blend is good. That
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: should be a top five whiskey in the war. By
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: the way. That's why I let you take that bottle.
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: I know how much you enjoyed that. I did as well.
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: But I will tell you I'm taking this one because
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: I love this. I think this is really really it's
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: actually a tiny bit buttery. I for a rye that's
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: kind of wild, but it still has that spice. It
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: doesn't have that raw flavor that I got used to
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: with Rise and this is very approachable. And to me,
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: I kind of agree with Jack. I would. I would
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: rarely drink rye straight, but this is one because because again,
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: this low alcohol level to me makes it considerably more approachable. Yes,
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: and you can drink it straight. I know because I've
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: been doing it since three o'clock. I'm doing it right
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: now on the camera. It's so good. Let me make
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: sure you get this. That is the echo of my glass.
- 1:04:05Speaker 5: Yeah, ninety proof forty nine to ninety nine a bottle
- 1:04:08Speaker 5: is part of their Legacy series.
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: As you mentioned, this bottle for fifty bucks is a steal. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: holy yeah, fifty dollars. I am so into Forward Slash.
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: I am obsessed with them as a local company, as
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: a small business. Why don't you wear their shirt? Then?
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: I'm literally wearing their shirt right now, I am. I'm
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: so lucky that Real Radio is partnered up with something
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: that is genuinely off the brick, authentically cool here in
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: central Florida. It's so funny. You're one hundred percent right, Ross.
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: I've never even thought of that aspect of it. When
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: you go to somebody's liquor cabinet or whatever. I mean,
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: people who are listening into us, who like good whiskeys, bourbons, whatever,
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: they probably have their standards up there like all of
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: us do. Right, You got your whistle pigs, maybe you
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: got your makers up there. Maybe you have some Blanton's
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: up there, you know, maybe you have some rustles whatever.
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: If you want to get out there having these bottles.
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: I think kind of culture's your cabinet a little bit
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: because it is local. It is you know, it's harder
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: to find. So I like this, Hey, culture's your cabinet.
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: It cultures your city. Drink Forward Slash for life.
- 1:05:10Speaker 5: Yeah, I finish that last bottle. I'm just putting other
- 1:05:13Speaker 5: stuff in it now to keep the bottle.
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: Fine. So try this today, guys, me have we said
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: the name of this ye know? Yeah? The Holton Cape
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: and Rye.
- 1:05:24Speaker 5: Yeah, it's Holt and Cape and those are matter of fact,
- 1:05:28Speaker 5: that's the intersection where they are located in that park,
- 1:05:31Speaker 5: Solten Cap holding Cape and Rye.
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: And so a little fun game for our listeners go
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: to drink forward Slash, try this rye and then try
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: the rye that I love, the Thornhurst, and then get
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: to find out a little bit more about yourself by
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: finding out one of your preferences. I actually like this
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: better than the Thornhurst. Wow, I really do.
- 1:05:48Speaker 8: I do.
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: I like this better. I think it's more approachable. And
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: I got to tell you that lower alcohol level allows
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: that creaminess, a little bit of buttery to come in there.
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: It's good. My hand is out to agree to disagree.
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: I will take that Thornhurst into my like you said.
- 1:06:01Speaker 5: The website is drinkforward slash dot com. Or you find
- 1:06:04Speaker 5: him on Instagram and give him a follow at drink
- 1:06:07Speaker 5: forward Slash.
- 1:06:08Speaker 6: And thanks again the forward Slash. Yeah, thanks you guys
- 1:06:10Speaker 6: appreciate it very much. Four O seven nine four one
- 1:06:13Speaker 6: text us at seven to seven zero three one back
- 1:06:15Speaker 6: on a second with more of the Jim Colbert Show.
- 1:06:21Speaker 15: Guys, the answer is sixty one miles per hour.
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: That means that a human.
- 1:06:28Speaker 15: Could run one mile in under one second.
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: Wow, is that a lizard thing out here?
- 1:06:34Speaker 15: Actually I did the bathrock it's one mile and under
- 1:06:38Speaker 15: one minute.
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: But still wow. Still holdings still high. Agreed that needs
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: a shot a whiskey. Hold on.
- 1:06:46Speaker 6: Roundabouts are okay and all until you realize that a
- 1:06:49Speaker 6: country got four double buses stuck in the same roundabout.
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: And it's not the first time I pay the susion.
- 1:06:58Speaker 6: People who love round the bout driven attract a trailer
- 1:07:04Speaker 6: nor anything it has a trailer.
- 1:07:07Speaker 9: I hate him. I've gone around those trailer I've gone around.
- 1:07:12Speaker 6: With an oversize steppedick pulling eighty ninety pounds.
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: Yeah, I hate him, I hate him.
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: I hate him.
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: Kansas strugger out Wait, we got you, We got your
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: Kansas trugger.
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: Where are your babe?
- 1:07:26Speaker 10: All right?
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: Seven seven zero three one? Welcome back and I am Jim.
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: There's debth Hello, Jack is here as well. Yo, cobout
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: a very special edition of Ross Thoughts. It's weird. Five
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: o'clock audience. Funny, wake up, sometimes, do your cake up.
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: It's Ross spelled like sauce. It's like we're meeting. It's
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: Ross thoughts for the very first time. If you don't know,
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: Welcome to Rostots. Today's Rostots is brought to you by
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: a personal injury attorney, Mo. Doit injured on the go?
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: Just call MO. See MO tomorrow night. It's gonna be awesome.
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: What's a good hang? By the way, if you knock
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: him out, you win one hundred bucks at the Real
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: Radio Poker tournamentye Oh, I should have put him at
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: my table. Oh, should put him at my table Hindsight's
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: twenty twenty. Well, I know what you guys can do.
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: You can just give him a call. Just call him
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: O and John, just call him mo.
- 1:08:19Speaker 7: Uh.
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: And also, he's been a title sponsor for Good Sauce
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: with Ross Joel since day one. He's really been there
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: for me, and I know he can really be there
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: for you. And on this week's episode of Good Sauce
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: with Ross Joel, we kind of stumbled upon one of
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: my favorite little topics that is kind of ebbs and flows.
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: I think everybody has heard of a hot take. Yeah,
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: hot take. Right, we've done a bunch of hot takes
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: on this show. I would conjure up a bunch of
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: hot takes. And then you've also heard of cold takes.
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: And by the way, cold takes are way worse than
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: hot take. And a cold take is just a normal take, right,
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: A cold take is just a played take. Yeah, it's
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: I mean, a hot take is just a new way
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: to look at something that people haven't really said yet. Yeah,
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: like crime is bad, we should stop it. Yeah, you're
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: an idiot, Like I legit think.
- 1:09:10Speaker 3: Have some more whiskey. That sounds like a political ad.
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: Yeah, like it just to me. Whenever I hear a
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: cold take, I'm like, you think I'm in third grade,
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: you know, like yeah, yeah, duh. But there's somewhere in
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: between a hot and cold take, a weird take, aid take.
- 1:09:32Speaker 9: There we go.
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: It works, lukewarm, tempid, weird, They're all kind of in
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: the same nutshell. So like, here's a weird take. And
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: I think I've shared this with you guys before, but like,
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: I don't think people should freak out when there is
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: one strand of hair in their food. Oh dude, that
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: is a really weird take. That's a weird take. Oh yeah, dude, Yeah,
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: one hair and that's borderline hot. Just shy of a
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: hot take, Just shy of a hot take, you are, Yeah, yeah,
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: but I take you can touch right out of the oven.
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: One one hair on a lasagna and you're gonna freak out.
- 1:10:09Speaker 2: That's eight stories of pasta. Dude, I don't know. Yeah,
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: you would you return it? Yeah? If I find a
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: If I find a hair that's not mine, and that's easy. Yeah,
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: that is going back dog. You guys paying good money
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: to have somebody's hair up in my up in my food.
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: Jack Bradshaw, You returning lasagnia with a hair in.
- 1:10:31Speaker 5: It in a restaurant after he eats it? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:10:34Speaker 5: I'd probably get three quarters of the way through it.
- 1:10:36Speaker 5: Then I'm like, there's a hair in my zagnia?
- 1:10:40Speaker 3: Deep?
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: Wouldn't you say? Which is it? Let us on it today?
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: You should be grateful.
- 1:10:46Speaker 4: You want to see me unloading in the garbage camera
- 1:10:49Speaker 4: over there. I do not know, all right, Yes, I
- 1:10:51Speaker 4: would send it back. If it's a home cooked meal
- 1:10:54Speaker 4: and I know the person who's made it, then it's
- 1:10:56Speaker 4: not a big deal.
- 1:10:57Speaker 3: But we're if we're in a.
- 1:10:58Speaker 4: Restaurant and I don't know that person's hair, and that lasagna?
- 1:11:02Speaker 2: How much for the garbage? Can Thy? So I like
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: Dev's answers. There's a lot of nuance there. Always if
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: I make if I make you Lasagnia, Jim, you see
- 1:11:14Speaker 2: my hair in it? What are you doing? He's probably
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: just floss with it. I just nudge you in the shoulder,
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: wake and go fiber. Yours is different, I mean beating
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: a Rando hair is different. I mean yours, Like even
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: anybody in these rooms I would probably cool with It'd
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: be like I would probably just bust your balls about it.
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: But now I've said this next weird take before on
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: this radio station, and you guys got so scared, And
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: you're right because it starts off pretty aggressive. Wait, okay,
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: here we go weird take number two. Okay, black babies,
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: Oh no, dude, what are you doing?
- 1:11:53Speaker 17: Oh my?
- 1:11:54Speaker 3: Why are you?
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: Are the cutest babies in the baby community without you
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: see how I say that? But it's also like I
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: have always I just think black babies are like, they're
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: so beautiful. I wonder if that's how our audience finished that. Yeah,
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: So like I'm just that's a weird on everyone. That's
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: a weird take that I have I've had for quite
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: some time. Black babies are the cutest baby. I think
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: black babies are the cutest baby. That isn't not a take?
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: All right? All right, so real fast check. You have
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: a weird take. I'm trying to think of one that's weird.
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: Dead Do you have a weird take? No, you got
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: a weird take? Yeah, but mine is weird in the
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: sense that it's not like that. It's just that, like
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: my weird taking, it blows people away. Is like, I
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: don't even think Lebron James is the top five basketball
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: players in the world.
- 1:12:40Speaker 3: Jack, I think you have a son. Actually, I don't.
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: Even believe this guy's in the top five best players
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: have ever lived?
- 1:12:46Speaker 3: Are you kidding?
- 1:12:47Speaker 6: No?
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: I don't The guy who scored literally the most, literally
- 1:12:52Speaker 2: the longest career Lebron James, single greatest athlete of all time? Man,
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: isn't that why that we record everything? It makes me
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: feel different things that my wife would hate for soulmates
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: were lovers trapped in different bodies. You know that whipped
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: cream Varsity of Blue Saint. That's what I'm looking for,
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: all right? That way out of context? Okay, I mean
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: so grossly out of context. This job is so unfair.
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: All right, here's my last weird take. All right, and
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: this one actually starts with you, Jim.
- 1:13:33Speaker 3: Okay, they all start with Jim.
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: You are the genesis this weird take. But years ago,
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: when you and I first were talking, right, and I
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: all of a sudden discovered something about you, something that
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: you like more than the average person, And I thought, well,
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: that doesn't match with the rest of his personality. If
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: you say what I'm gonna say, you think you're gonna
- 1:13:57Speaker 2: say that was gonna be my take, But I didn't
- 1:13:59Speaker 2: think it was that hot. All right, weird Is it
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: disco or rap? No, it's not disco, it's not rap.
- 1:14:05Speaker 2: This is a weird take. I think that Republicans like
- 1:14:12Speaker 2: water parks more than the average person. Guys, before you
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: call me crazy, go ahead listening right now, Ask yourself.
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: Ask you who did Maybe yourself. I don't care. Maybe
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: you're on that side of the aisle. I have no
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: hate for you. If I think Republicans, people who lean
- 1:14:33Speaker 2: a little right have more fun in water parks because
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: it's kind of like mudd and but with chlorine, like
- 1:14:40Speaker 2: you're going out with the boys that is a very
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: bizarre take. I've not heard I don't remember you saying that. No,
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: I no one's ever said that. That's yeah, yeah, but
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: you are you know you have me as a water
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: park guy. I have you as both of those things
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: lean a little right and also love a good water park,
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: which has always been painfully cute about you. I do
- 1:15:02Speaker 2: love water parks. I do. I don't know what it is.
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: I like them, but I don't like doing all the
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: crazy stuff. I like lazy rivering and I'm just like
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: going on the yeah slight yeah, yeah, like that, just
- 1:15:12Speaker 2: like the creek back in the day. Yeah, exactly, the
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: original lazy river. And then that's my weird take right there.
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: That's probably the weirdest take that I have. I don't know,
- 1:15:23Speaker 2: the black Baby's pretty weird. That water park doesn't even
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: come close to the black Baby take. I just saying
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: if if there was like a baby calendar, I'd be like,
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: all right, well that one's the cutest. God, you know what,
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: it's funny, what a what a question? And just in general,
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: your weirdest take, Yeah, the hair in the food is
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: a weird take. That's a that's a bizarre thing. Well,
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: per capita with how much I believe in all of
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: the three things that I believe in, which I believe
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: in all three, but the one that I believe in
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: the most, and the thing that I feel like I
- 1:15:56Speaker 2: just discovered is that conservatives and water park deserve I
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: think more of a stereotype.
- 1:16:04Speaker 4: Well, someone just texted us seven seven zero three one.
- 1:16:07Speaker 4: I'm a Republican and I love me a water park.
- 1:16:10Speaker 3: Oh wow, thank you man.
- 1:16:11Speaker 16: Man.
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: I have been asking all of my conservative friends.
- 1:16:15Speaker 4: Got a weird question to ask your conservative friends, not
- 1:16:18Speaker 4: who are you going to vote for?
- 1:16:19Speaker 3: How do you think the primary is going to go?
- 1:16:20Speaker 3: But hey, do you like a water park?
- 1:16:22Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 1:16:22Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: Like, hey, how sad were you when? What wild clothes?
- 1:16:27Speaker 16: Like?
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: You have water media flashbacks? And I've been picking up
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: on that. I believe that they're like what I think
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: the left has with like macha and pink haired lesbians.
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: I'm trying to make I'm trying to make conservatives stuck
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: with water rides and lazy rivers. And I just think
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: that that's my weirdest take. I think a weird take
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: is saying that all lesbians have pink hare. No, I'm
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: not saying all lesbians have pink hair. I'm just saying
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: that the stereo night the pink haired lesbians. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: there's that. That's part of the atmosphe.
- 1:16:57Speaker 5: So you're saying if you have pink hair, you're more
- 1:17:00Speaker 5: likely to be a lesbian.
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: I I'm gonna go yelling that one. Uh, those are
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: your ross thoughts wants to you by personal entry and
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: turning Boe to it. I'm out peace as fast as
- 1:17:11Speaker 2: I possibly can. All right for seven then went to
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: one O War one text us at seven seven zero
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: three one. A massive traffic backup in Washington, d C.
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: And you are not gonna believe what caused it.
- 1:17:22Speaker 16: I'll tell you what it is next, Hi, peeps, this
- 1:17:29Speaker 16: is crazy from India Atlantic. Back in ninety seven, I
- 1:17:32Speaker 16: was stationed on the Coastguard Cutter Durable out of Saint
- 1:17:36Speaker 16: Pete and while we were on patrol in the Florida Strait,
- 1:17:40Speaker 16: we happened to get a bust of thirty eight bales.
- 1:17:44Speaker 16: Each one of those bales had thirty six kilos in it.
- 1:17:49Speaker 16: Each kilo had made in China stamped on it.
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: Adrian Culbert.
- 1:17:58Speaker 6: True, So uncrustables, what you need to do is make
- 1:18:01Speaker 6: them in the French toast, so you batter.
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: Them with the ash, you put them in the pan. Oh,
- 1:18:06Speaker 2: just do the French toast business.
- 1:18:08Speaker 18: You gotta let it sit because if you bite into
- 1:18:10Speaker 18: it too soon, then all that really hot, scolding hot
- 1:18:14Speaker 18: jelly is really gonna hit you hard.
- 1:18:16Speaker 2: Yeah, so you gotta let it sit. But that's amazing,
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: Damn dude, Good after morning, Colbert Crude. Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy.
- 1:18:23Speaker 13: All I can think of with this on Crustables talk
- 1:18:25Speaker 13: is that this could have just been another business venture
- 1:18:28Speaker 13: where you've thought of this years ago and never did
- 1:18:30Speaker 13: anything about it. I mean, tea Bag even gave.
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: You the perfect name, jim Jams.
- 1:18:35Speaker 13: But speaking man business, do you know what happens Eddie
- 1:18:38Speaker 13: Medicine Factory if business slows down?
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: Jimmy, Hi, don't buddy. I mean, come on, you can
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: hear a cough drop. Oh come on, man, Okay.
- 1:18:48Speaker 18: So after hearing the lizard guy sit there and kind
- 1:18:50Speaker 18: of wonder how fast we would run if we ran
- 1:18:53Speaker 18: like a lizard or whatever it shows up, it got
- 1:18:55Speaker 18: me thinking, you know, I've never smoked weed, like I've
- 1:18:58Speaker 18: never smoked a joint, but I've had had some of
- 1:19:00Speaker 18: the tenC seltzers, edibles and bapes, and I've not gotten high,
- 1:19:06Speaker 18: Like I don't get any euphoric filling or anything like
- 1:19:09Speaker 18: as described by weed users or smokers. I guess I
- 1:19:13Speaker 18: sound like an old man.
- 1:19:14Speaker 2: What the hell? But is it better to smoke it?
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: What up? Guys?
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: Sport from duv Roundabout a couple months ago? Up here
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: in Jacksonville, we got a diamond roundabout. And I'm gonna
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: be honest with you. Since we've got it, I ain't
- 1:19:31Speaker 2: seen my mom might.
- 1:19:34Speaker 6: Somewhere man's in the middle right now.
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: I want to give me a.
- 1:19:38Speaker 9: Happy birthday to one of the nicest, sweetest people in
- 1:19:41Speaker 9: the YouTube chat, Treeny Treny.
- 1:19:44Speaker 7: Happy birthday girl twenty one. That's good on you every weekend.
- 1:19:48Speaker 2: Happy birthday Ry. Cool you to do that, buddy, Welcome back.
- 1:19:52Speaker 2: I'm Jim dB, Jack and Ross are Here's what everything right?
- 1:19:54Speaker 6: Oh?
- 1:19:55Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 1:19:55Speaker 3: I just had to confer with a husband because he
- 1:19:57Speaker 3: just walked in the house and was like are you here?
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: Yeah with a lot. Oh what a scary situation that
- 1:20:04Speaker 2: would be because he would not know not no.
- 1:20:06Speaker 4: I texted him and he's been because he picked the
- 1:20:09Speaker 4: car up earlier today. So he had no idea.
- 1:20:11Speaker 2: Yeah, quick text probably would have been smart.
- 1:20:13Speaker 17: There.
- 1:20:14Speaker 2: Oh I texted him, by the way, honey, not dead
- 1:20:15Speaker 2: in the closet. What's his problem? He doesn't look at
- 1:20:19Speaker 2: your text, you.
- 1:20:21Speaker 3: Know, when he's super busy, he may or may not.
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: Everybody hear their spouse has their uh access information to
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: your electronics? Right everybody? Yes? What do you mean? I accent?
- 1:20:30Speaker 2: What do you mean you pick up your wife's phone?
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: Could you unlock it? No? You could not? No one
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: more time? Deb, No? Could he yours?
- 1:20:40Speaker 9: No?
- 1:20:42Speaker 2: You could ask for me at any time? But yes,
- 1:20:46Speaker 2: what's the difference between those two situations? But you can't
- 1:20:51Speaker 2: say it's an age thing, because I mean Deb is
- 1:20:54Speaker 2: close to our age, she's way younger. I love that.
- 1:20:56Speaker 2: Everybody to navigate this. I need to get out with
- 1:21:03Speaker 2: younger people. I just hit the roundabout and I got
- 1:21:07Speaker 2: But I.
- 1:21:08Speaker 3: Don't have tracking like I don't.
- 1:21:09Speaker 2: I don't.
- 1:21:09Speaker 3: I can't tell where he is during the day right now?
- 1:21:13Speaker 2: Yeah, now the nel salon again? Oh yeah, yeah, you
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: guys track ross We officially now do try you should.
- 1:21:21Speaker 2: But you do not know her phone code and she
- 1:21:23Speaker 2: does not know yours. No, does she have any access
- 1:21:26Speaker 2: to your social media as well. Nolue. That's a younger
- 1:21:31Speaker 2: person thing, I believe because also the separate bank account,
- 1:21:35Speaker 2: the separate the separate bank account thing is big with
- 1:21:37Speaker 2: younger people as well, whereas more traditional people like myself,
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: I think Jack is the same way that you know,
- 1:21:42Speaker 2: we combined our accounts, but that is becoming more and
- 1:21:45Speaker 2: more rare where a couples, even in long term relationships,
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: are starting to separate their bank accounts and kind of
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: throw into a common common fund to pay for everything
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: in the house and then they do whatever with their
- 1:21:56Speaker 2: own money. They're just planning ahead. It makes divorce easier.
- 1:22:01Speaker 2: That is kind of for me though, And we'll get
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: to this thing. For me, that's a very bizarre thing.
- 1:22:05Speaker 2: I've never been in a relationship where that was the case,
- 1:22:08Speaker 2: where we didn't combine our money, and I wouldn't. It
- 1:22:11Speaker 2: would be so bizarre to It would just be unique
- 1:22:15Speaker 2: for that, like I wouldn't know what to do, Like
- 1:22:18Speaker 2: all you gotta do is add two numbers. Well, it's
- 1:22:21Speaker 2: interesting though, because you're right. I mean, you could simply
- 1:22:24Speaker 2: give her the money and she could write it out
- 1:22:26Speaker 2: of her account. And I'm saying that just because she's
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: the one who handles the finances in your house.
- 1:22:31Speaker 3: So really you're not aware.
- 1:22:34Speaker 2: I don't know anything right now.
- 1:22:35Speaker 3: A Wich account right now, I do not have.
- 1:22:39Speaker 2: Telling. Funny, I know I have the forty dollars. It's
- 1:22:41Speaker 2: in my wallet right now, is all I know I
- 1:22:43Speaker 2: have Other than I have no clue.
- 1:22:44Speaker 4: Well, then there you have it. You can combine your accounts,
- 1:22:47Speaker 4: but you still have no clue.
- 1:22:48Speaker 2: Like if I asked you to log into your bank
- 1:22:50Speaker 2: account right now, I could not do it. I could
- 1:22:54Speaker 2: not do it. I don't know. I've never made a
- 1:22:56Speaker 2: noise like that. I know the balance on my Apple
- 1:22:59Speaker 2: car because it comes up when I bring it up,
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: but I do not know the balance on any of
- 1:23:03Speaker 2: my other cards. So you only know how much money
- 1:23:06Speaker 2: you owe. Yeah, yeah, yeah, just the Apple card thing
- 1:23:08Speaker 2: is like a rotating thing. We just you know what
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: I'm saying. Yeah, And then we don't have any other
- 1:23:12Speaker 2: dre we do. We don't have any other debt, so
- 1:23:14Speaker 2: I don't have like, we don't have credit cards or
- 1:23:16Speaker 2: anything like that. So we just use credit cards to
- 1:23:18Speaker 2: book flights and uh and do stuff online. Yeah that's
- 1:23:22Speaker 2: but you but you can't log in. I do not
- 1:23:25Speaker 2: know how to get into my account. I do not
- 1:23:27Speaker 2: know how to do that. I don't. I don't know
- 1:23:28Speaker 2: what my balance is right now. I have no clue.
- 1:23:30Speaker 2: Is that bizarre to me? This is like not being
- 1:23:34Speaker 2: able to change a tire. This is like when a
- 1:23:36Speaker 2: millennial can't change a tire. To me, I'm like, not
- 1:23:41Speaker 2: not one password, not a face, I d touch ID No.
- 1:23:46Speaker 2: I can get into my my all my uh my
- 1:23:48Speaker 2: investment accounts. I can get into those, okay, but I
- 1:23:51Speaker 2: don't bother looking at them because it doesn't matter. I'm
- 1:23:53Speaker 2: not doing anything with it right now. Just leave it alone,
- 1:23:55Speaker 2: you know, I mean, I don't. I mean you physically
- 1:23:57Speaker 2: know how to enter an email address in a pass? Yeah,
- 1:24:00Speaker 2: I do how to do that, like I said, but
- 1:24:01Speaker 2: I just don't. Here's the thing. I don't deal with
- 1:24:03Speaker 2: the finances of my house. There's no reason for me
- 1:24:06Speaker 2: to be able to get in there right now. I
- 1:24:08Speaker 2: probably could get in if I if I wanted to
- 1:24:10Speaker 2: find it somewhere, and probably wiggle my way in there.
- 1:24:13Speaker 2: But I don't know something.
- 1:24:16Speaker 6: Man.
- 1:24:16Speaker 2: My number one goal in my house is to do
- 1:24:18Speaker 2: this well and to take care of the things around
- 1:24:20Speaker 2: the house. And my wife's goal is to make sure
- 1:24:22Speaker 2: the money's good in our house. She's good at it.
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: I'm good at what I do, and it's been it's
- 1:24:26Speaker 2: been sinking fine. That's just how you worded it felt
- 1:24:29Speaker 2: like an actual like brick and mortar, like I'll wiggle
- 1:24:32Speaker 2: myself in there, I'll wiggle is exactly. You got a
- 1:24:38Speaker 2: six digit code so your phone, we are uber separate
- 1:24:42Speaker 2: bank accounts, and I have run into a lot of
- 1:24:46Speaker 2: pros with it and just a small amount of cons
- 1:24:50Speaker 2: Oh really yeah, Well, I would think I would think
- 1:24:52Speaker 2: the big problem would be if one person made a
- 1:24:55Speaker 2: lot more money than the other person. That's what I
- 1:24:57Speaker 2: think with the problem would be, like because if that
- 1:25:00Speaker 2: a problem for one of them, but if that person
- 1:25:03Speaker 2: knows that, if that person knows that you make a
- 1:25:06Speaker 2: lot more money than them, and they know, I mean,
- 1:25:08Speaker 2: and everybody knows what everybody makes in a relationship, right,
- 1:25:10Speaker 2: you know how much your wife makes? Ball bark? Yes,
- 1:25:12Speaker 2: she ain't knows what you you make?
- 1:25:13Speaker 17: Ye?
- 1:25:13Speaker 2: Ball park? Pretty here, pretty much? Ballpark. So that's the thing,
- 1:25:16Speaker 2: is like if one person's making a lot more than
- 1:25:18Speaker 2: the other person, and then they're pitching in equally to
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: pay for the stuff the one person knows, well, this
- 1:25:23Speaker 2: other person I can do the math is sitting on
- 1:25:25Speaker 2: a big old chunk of money, and I'd like to
- 1:25:27Speaker 2: do some stuff, but that's not my money. Like, this
- 1:25:30Speaker 2: is the thing that would cause problems. This is weird
- 1:25:32Speaker 2: for me to say, but my wow, man, I'll say
- 1:25:34Speaker 2: it whatever. I love what he questions out and then
- 1:25:39Speaker 2: goes forward.
- 1:25:39Speaker 3: I know because he's you know, he hasn't gotten permissions
- 1:25:42Speaker 3: lean in.
- 1:25:43Speaker 2: I'm going to open up the door for all the
- 1:25:45Speaker 2: good old boys to just rip me, all right, But
- 1:25:48Speaker 2: I can defend myself because I do what My wife
- 1:25:51Speaker 2: and I we split the mortgage, like we it's a
- 1:25:55Speaker 2: fifty to fifty thing. She has a full time job.
- 1:25:57Speaker 2: I'm gigging here and there and all that. But like
- 1:26:01Speaker 2: it feels weird knowing that we split the house. Why
- 1:26:05Speaker 2: does that feel weird? Because I work a lot? I
- 1:26:08Speaker 2: would say that comfortably that I work more. Oh, you
- 1:26:11Speaker 2: work more than she does at the very least financially,
- 1:26:14Speaker 2: I would say, with stand up in Orlando City, Internet
- 1:26:18Speaker 2: and all of that, that I can pull down maybe
- 1:26:20Speaker 2: a small amount more coin, and yet we are splitting
- 1:26:24Speaker 2: the house payment. But then I was like, maybe, girl,
- 1:26:27Speaker 2: I'm gonna pay for this car. Let's right. Yeah, but
- 1:26:30Speaker 2: I fully regret that.
- 1:26:31Speaker 5: By the way, you don't because it gives you something
- 1:26:33Speaker 5: to repeat many times on the air.
- 1:26:36Speaker 2: Yeah. And by the way, are you on the are
- 1:26:39Speaker 2: you on the mortgage? I think, are you on the deed?
- 1:26:44Speaker 2: I gotta check, I gotta I gotta find that she
- 1:26:47Speaker 2: bought the house. He was a late acquisition. You're not
- 1:26:50Speaker 2: on any of that stuff. I mean, that's a totally
- 1:26:52Speaker 2: different machine, because you know she's getting all that equity
- 1:26:54Speaker 2: and you won't get anything at the sale of the line,
- 1:26:56Speaker 2: not married half half of her. No, you'll learn It's fine. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:27:01Speaker 2: call me. I'm telling you that the separate bank accounc
- 1:27:04Speaker 2: will make it easier. Though when it does happen, I
- 1:27:05Speaker 2: think at that point, I'm not calling you. I'm calling
- 1:27:07Speaker 2: trendly all right. Four four one texts seven seven zero
- 1:27:12Speaker 2: three one. Big time traffic issue in Washington, d C
- 1:27:17Speaker 2: at a circle there. The incident occurred around at seven
- 1:27:20Speaker 2: am August twelfth, right there in a Tinley town that's
- 1:27:23Speaker 2: a historic neighborhood just northwest of d C. They responded
- 1:27:27Speaker 2: to the scene. Rush hour traffic in the area was
- 1:27:29Speaker 2: shut down for nearly two hours there was an item
- 1:27:32Speaker 2: labeled suspicious package. They well, they labeled the item a
- 1:27:38Speaker 2: suspicious package. I took that literally as well. Yeah yeah.
- 1:27:41Speaker 2: And it turns out that they had to send in
- 1:27:44Speaker 2: all the equipment and get it to find out what's
- 1:27:46Speaker 2: going on. And it really wasn't an incendiary product at all.
- 1:27:50Speaker 2: It was something altogether different. Anybody want to take a.
- 1:27:52Speaker 9: Shot at what this was?
- 1:27:53Speaker 2: Sex toys? It is DC, It is DC. A man
- 1:27:58Speaker 2: approaching fire house worker was an on the near of
- 1:28:00Speaker 2: the corner and he said, look, I'm gonna leave this
- 1:28:02Speaker 2: device here. They put the canines on it, they sent
- 1:28:04Speaker 2: the robot on it, and they said, oh, this is
- 1:28:06Speaker 2: a penis pump.
- 1:28:09Speaker 3: Yeah, I think I now did you leave it there?
- 1:28:13Speaker 2: It was a blue and black electronic sex portable pump device,
- 1:28:18Speaker 2: according to a police incident report obtained by USA Today.
- 1:28:20Speaker 4: And the immortal words of Austin Powers, that's not mine.
- 1:28:25Speaker 4: That's not mine, baby, that's not mine.
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: Real fastel Swedish penis pumps not a sex toy.
- 1:28:32Speaker 3: No, it's it's a pump.
- 1:28:33Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, it gets going, but it's not bringing you there, right, No,
- 1:28:38Speaker 2: it's just how you use it. Yeah, No, it doesn't
- 1:28:41Speaker 2: get you there, that's the point it uh, it engorges you. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:28:45Speaker 2: I'm just and I don't know if it works. It's
- 1:28:47Speaker 2: never I've never heard of one with jack you know
- 1:28:49Speaker 2: it works, do not know?
- 1:28:50Speaker 9: Do not know?
- 1:28:51Speaker 2: It's a really weird hill for me to die on.
- 1:28:54Speaker 2: But I just wouldn't consider the penis pump a sex toy. Well,
- 1:28:58Speaker 2: it can be an aid, yeah, not a toy.
- 1:29:01Speaker 9: Hey.
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: By the way, when you use one of those things,
- 1:29:03Speaker 2: does your area have to be shorn for it to
- 1:29:07Speaker 2: seal up? Because isn't that kind of.
- 1:29:09Speaker 4: Like a firefighter with their mask and they can't have
- 1:29:11Speaker 4: beers my pole. You have to, you have to, you
- 1:29:15Speaker 4: have to create that seals.
- 1:29:21Speaker 3: Sounds like my tire this morning.
- 1:29:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I remember it happened to me one time and
- 1:29:26Speaker 2: I was like, that's an odd blood pressure man that
- 1:29:29Speaker 2: I thought they took it on an arm up there, buddy.
- 1:29:31Speaker 2: So it's like it's like copping right, kind of like that. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:29:37Speaker 2: it's kind of It is kind of like that. I
- 1:29:38Speaker 2: would not it brings blood to that area, I think maybe,
- 1:29:41Speaker 2: But they sell a bunch of them. They must work.
- 1:29:43Speaker 2: I've never heard of anybody using one I've literally never
- 1:29:47Speaker 2: heard of it about using one. But what's it supposed
- 1:29:49Speaker 2: to do? I think it's supposed to Like he said,
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: the cupping thing is you bring you bring blood to
- 1:29:54Speaker 2: that area.
- 1:29:55Speaker 5: Okay, and a pill but without the blue pills Okay. Yeah,
- 1:29:58Speaker 5: it's not about making any larger. It's just about getting
- 1:30:02Speaker 5: it to work.
- 1:30:02Speaker 2: Oh, I don't know. I think don't they. I think
- 1:30:04Speaker 2: they sell it as an enlargement product. So how does
- 1:30:07Speaker 2: that work in the world of physics? Yeah, I don't
- 1:30:11Speaker 2: I saw. I'm seeing right here that it's more to Yeah,
- 1:30:14Speaker 2: it's basically blue pills serving as a treatment for ed
- 1:30:18Speaker 2: prescribed by doctors. No, get out of here, fringing on
- 1:30:22Speaker 2: the box, that's web MMD. It's just to facilitate blood flow. Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:30:27Speaker 4: Starting in the texting service, what are they saying, Oh,
- 1:30:31Speaker 4: they most definitely get you there.
- 1:30:32Speaker 2: Yeah. So somebody says they use it as a finishing product.
- 1:30:37Speaker 2: Someone just texted it and that they named there's Amanda.
- 1:30:42Speaker 2: You shouldn't name it. You don't need to personify these pumps,
- 1:30:46Speaker 2: especially especially after a whaling ginning zone.
- 1:30:49Speaker 4: Now are you sure it was a penis pumping? Not
- 1:30:50Speaker 4: the flashlight? It says it says, Look, it was a
- 1:30:53Speaker 4: the bandlift a device. It was not an explosive device.
- 1:30:56Speaker 4: It was a blue and black electronic sex portable pump device.
- 1:31:02Speaker 2: That's what it said. It says, the man approach a
- 1:31:04Speaker 2: firehouse worker who was standing near the rear of the building.
- 1:31:07Speaker 3: Check got my host, He says.
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: The determined man had left the device on the scene
- 1:31:11Speaker 2: with wires exposed like a bomb. A canine units they
- 1:31:17Speaker 2: sent it over there. Canine smelled at once and rank.
- 1:31:25Speaker 8: They sent.
- 1:31:26Speaker 2: They sent in the explosive ordnance disposal and canine units.
- 1:31:29Speaker 2: So they sent a robot and a dog after it.
- 1:31:32Speaker 2: The dog just shook. The dog pede on. It is
- 1:31:40Speaker 2: a threat. I'm curious. I would try it. I'd try
- 1:31:45Speaker 2: a little pump. Somebody said it wasn't a penis pump.
- 1:31:47Speaker 2: It was a flash. Like they clearly say, here is
- 1:31:49Speaker 2: an electronics pump device. Uh, the part of the USA
- 1:31:52Speaker 2: Today story that might work as well. Maybe you can
- 1:31:55Speaker 2: describe them both. And then someone else says, you can
- 1:31:58Speaker 2: definitely use a penis pump. Yeah, as a sex toy. Well,
- 1:32:03Speaker 2: you can use anything as a sex toy. That's the case.
- 1:32:06Speaker 2: Someone gets a boy. Yeah, you can use the damn
- 1:32:08Speaker 2: squash if you want you're listening to the Jim Colbert Show.
- 1:32:15Speaker 2: I just want to remind everybody, how do you know
- 1:32:17Speaker 2: you can use a squash? I've heard of I've heard
- 1:32:20Speaker 2: another thing. I've heard the candle open, the microwaves. I'm
- 1:32:24Speaker 2: just thinking of anything. Don't look at me like that ever. Again,
- 1:32:28Speaker 2: I didn't say I did it. Go ahead. No, I'm
- 1:32:30Speaker 2: not going ahead. I'm not going to do it. I'm
- 1:32:33Speaker 2: just arguing that you can use anything as a sex toy.
- 1:32:35Speaker 2: If you're like a sock like crabs sock, not a
- 1:32:39Speaker 2: sex toy. Why would you This is massive? Why do
