Legislators Get New Garage | Concord News
Lawmakers finally got their own parking garage—big, ADA-compliant, and totally off-limits to the public. With over 400 spots, it’s meant to free up downtown street parking that was long reserved for legislators, especially benefiting those with mobility challenges. Yellow meter bags are disappearing from city streets, a win for residents and workers. While some lawmakers still park on the street (paying fees and time limits), most are now directed to the new facility, which one rep called “fabulous.” The old garage?
