- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: It's time for the Almost Famous podcast. Yes, today we
- 0:09Speaker 2: have bachelor headlines and we have a friend of the podcast,
- 0:12Speaker 2: a friend to all, somebody admired in bachelor Nation. I
- 0:17Speaker 2: am talking about Ashley I Keneedti. Hello Ashley.
- 0:20Speaker 3: Nah, he's joking. We have around.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Rodney. Today, we're gonna do bachelor headlines. I'm sure you've
- 0:28Speaker 2: listened to the podcast every week, so you know how
- 0:29Speaker 2: this works. We're gonna break down the headline, we comment
- 0:32Speaker 2: on it. Sometimes we know nothing about these people, but
- 0:35Speaker 2: we get to get the details of their life going on.
- 0:38Speaker 2: The first headline I want to speak to a little
- 0:39Speaker 2: bit about and we're gonna speak to it later on
- 0:41Speaker 2: in more detail during a in depth interview with you,
- 0:45Speaker 2: which we cannot wait to do. It's gonna be posted
- 0:48Speaker 2: very soon on the Almost Famous thread is about your
- 0:51Speaker 2: your love life, Rodney. You and your girlfriend have moved
- 0:54Speaker 2: in together. It's getting serious?
- 0:57Speaker 4: Yes, yeah, we just recently moved in together a week
- 1:00Speaker 4: or so ago. So we've been dating for five months
- 1:05Speaker 4: and it's really been the best five months of my life,
- 1:08Speaker 4: clearly enough. So if it's gotten to that point. So
- 1:12Speaker 4: it's one of those things when you know you know.
- 1:13Speaker 4: So I'm really excited to talk about that and moving
- 1:16Speaker 4: all with my life.
- 1:17Speaker 2: We cannot wait to dig into all the details of
- 1:19Speaker 2: this relationship again. That's going to be in the in
- 1:22Speaker 2: depth interview with Rodney. Now onto other people, Rodney, We're
- 1:26Speaker 2: not gonna talk about you the whole time yet. Bachelor's
- 1:28Speaker 2: Tea Booth, Mary's and romantic sexy wedding. I've never seen
- 1:34Speaker 2: sexy in a wedding. Oh put together, that's interesting, but Ben.
- 1:39Speaker 3: Grown sexy? Don't you You don't remember this because I
- 1:42Speaker 3: don't even think you watched back then? Can you remember
- 1:45Speaker 3: Rodney a little bit?
- 1:46Speaker 1: A little bit?
- 1:47Speaker 3: He's a longtime bachelor friend. Catherine made the biggest deal
- 1:53Speaker 3: about her and Sean's wedding. The theme grown sexy, which
- 1:58Speaker 3: I was like grown like plans like grow like I
- 2:02Speaker 3: just kept thinking like growing like something was growing. But
- 2:06Speaker 3: it was grown as a grown up sexy. That was
- 2:09Speaker 3: her theme, and throughout the whole wedding special, she kept
- 2:13Speaker 3: using this phrase and it was kind of like hilarious
- 2:15Speaker 3: because it was driving everyone crazy.
- 2:17Speaker 2: I have never heard this before, so I guess sexy
- 2:21Speaker 2: is a part of weddings. He knows this. The quote
- 2:25Speaker 2: from Tia is I've waited a long time for this day,
- 2:29Speaker 2: Ashley breaking down.
- 2:31Speaker 1: All right.
- 2:31Speaker 3: Well, their wedding had two hundred and twenty five people there.
- 2:36Speaker 3: They had their son there of course, and her her
- 2:39Speaker 3: fiancee now husband, Taylor, walked down the aisle holding him.
- 2:43Speaker 3: He turns one in December and it was at Diamond
- 2:46Speaker 3: Creek Farms in Nashville. Have you ever been there, Ben,
- 2:49Speaker 3: I haven't. No, have you heard of it?
- 2:51Speaker 2: No? Oh? Okay, so I'm sure Jessica has. Yeah.
- 2:56Speaker 3: So the overall vibe was, as you said, sexy and
- 3:00Speaker 3: romantic with mood of the Moody color scheme. It was
- 3:02Speaker 3: neutrals with black accents, Popova a champagne color, and gold
- 3:06Speaker 3: metallics they have. They had likes a lot of detail,
- 3:11Speaker 3: which I really liked. So her dad passed away in
- 3:14Speaker 3: February twenty twenty two, and they had multiple dedications to him.
- 3:19Speaker 3: They walked down the aisle. She walked down the aisle
- 3:21Speaker 3: to Drew Irwin, who I don't know. His cover of
- 3:25Speaker 3: look After You by the Fray and this was a
- 3:29Speaker 3: song that you know obviously it means a lot. It's
- 3:31Speaker 3: like a look after you. And they also when they
- 3:36Speaker 3: said who gives this woman to be married to this man,
- 3:40Speaker 3: everybody in the audience took a shot of tequila, which
- 3:43Speaker 3: was her dad's go to drink, which really sweet.
- 3:45Speaker 2: I really like that.
- 3:48Speaker 3: They also exchanged handwritten vows. They said, we're already best
- 3:53Speaker 3: friends and made a commitment, a commitment to each other
- 3:56Speaker 3: as Tatum's parents, so we're excited to make things officially
- 4:00Speaker 3: in front of our friends and family. And they also
- 4:02Speaker 3: said that they were either going to a lope or
- 4:04Speaker 3: do it big, and that is something that I also
- 4:07Speaker 3: very much like. That was kind of like my thought
- 4:09Speaker 3: is like you either go really small or you go
- 4:11Speaker 3: really big. They did not want to do anywhere in
- 4:15Speaker 3: the middle. And then she had a dress change. She
- 4:18Speaker 3: wore long sleeves and high neckline when she walked down
- 4:20Speaker 3: the aisle.
- 4:22Speaker 2: It's a really beautiful wedding, Rodney. This Uh, you know,
- 4:27Speaker 2: this stage in life, I think it feels like bachelination
- 4:31Speaker 2: is getting married or you know, the baby's are Really.
- 4:34Speaker 3: There's a lot of marriages lately.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Remind us how many people has anybody been now married?
- 4:40Speaker 2: From your season?
- 4:42Speaker 1: Uh? No, they have not. We have one guy.
- 4:47Speaker 4: One guy who's actually getting married this weekend is Martin
- 4:52Speaker 4: from my season for Michelle's season.
- 4:55Speaker 3: So it's been two years since your season aired. So yeah,
- 4:58Speaker 3: it's like now it's beginning to be like, Okay, you
- 5:01Speaker 3: had a year of dating, you had a year of planning,
- 5:03Speaker 3: you met eventually. Yeah, so it's kind of That's all.
- 5:06Speaker 1: I can think of right now. So not too many
- 5:08Speaker 1: so far, but I could feel that it's starting to
- 5:10Speaker 1: come along.
- 5:11Speaker 3: Yeah, hey, Ben, Yes, guess who was the orchestra.
- 5:17Speaker 2: I'm going to imagine, imagine the Georgian con Orchestra. Yes,
- 5:21Speaker 2: of course they're the best.
- 5:23Speaker 3: They're also a bachelor Nation's choice.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Now, yeah, Rodney, one day when you get married, I'm
- 5:28Speaker 2: just telling you right now, they are the absolute best
- 5:30Speaker 2: wedding band in the world. They are so good. Ashley
- 5:34Speaker 2: and I both had him at our wedding. So my
- 5:36Speaker 2: r next headline is this Teddy Wright gets a marriage
- 5:39Speaker 2: license with fiance Nicholas. All that's left to do is
- 5:42Speaker 2: get married.
- 5:43Speaker 3: She says, this relationship has happened really fast, but it
- 5:48Speaker 3: seems like, you know, like you said earlier in the podcast,
- 5:50Speaker 3: when you know you know, So they announced their relationship
- 5:53Speaker 3: last December, and in April they got engaged and they
- 5:57Speaker 3: are getting married this weekend.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Rodney Any comments, that's really exciting for Teddy.
- 6:04Speaker 4: Like I said, I've sadly I've only met her once,
- 6:06Speaker 4: but I know how exciting this could be for her,
- 6:09Speaker 4: and the few times that we spoke and everyone that's
- 6:11Speaker 4: spoken about her saying it's the same thing.
- 6:14Speaker 1: She knew pretty instantly.
- 6:16Speaker 4: That this was going to be the man for her,
- 6:17Speaker 4: and it's nice to see that it's progressing so quickly.
- 6:20Speaker 4: So yeah, I'm happy for her. I know everyone's excited
- 6:23Speaker 4: for Teddy. And then side note on Tina and Taylor.
- 6:27Speaker 4: I just now remember that I was there at the
- 6:29Speaker 4: proposal last year with Becca while I was on tour
- 6:33Speaker 4: for Bachelor Live on same so it just it just
- 6:37Speaker 4: hit me. I'm like, oh my god, Like I was
- 6:39Speaker 4: there during that moment. I was trying to figure out
- 6:41Speaker 4: if it was the exact same date, but yeah, it
- 6:42Speaker 4: was out in Atlanta when we were on tour with Becca.
- 6:45Speaker 4: So it was a fun it was a very fun night.
- 6:47Speaker 4: But it's nice to see all this love and destination.
- 6:50Speaker 2: That's so cool. That's that's awesome. What a deal I've
- 6:53Speaker 2: I've only seen two people get engaged in my life,
- 6:56Speaker 2: and it's both been kind of like surprised. It makes
- 6:59Speaker 2: me nervous, like I'm watching sometimes from a distance, not
- 7:02Speaker 2: knowing the people, and I'm like, I'm giddy and nervous
- 7:05Speaker 2: and anxious for that guy or that girl, because that
- 7:10Speaker 2: is one of the most intimidating moments of your life,
- 7:13Speaker 2: let me tell you.
- 7:14Speaker 3: And Tia actually didn't know when she got proposed to
- 7:17Speaker 3: that she was also pregnant.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Well how about that surprise surprise? Hey, Rodney, this last
- 7:33Speaker 2: weekend we were at Chris Harrison's wedding.
- 7:35Speaker 4: As she saw talking about it because I really want
- 7:38Speaker 4: to ask you to I was like, it looked like
- 7:40Speaker 4: a lot of fun.
- 7:41Speaker 2: Yeah, it was a blast. I'm telling we did a
- 7:44Speaker 2: whole breakdown that's now posting on a thread. But Rodney,
- 7:47Speaker 2: let me tell you, you know, you get it. Your
- 7:50Speaker 2: season of guys especially are very close and uh and
- 7:55Speaker 2: so when you you know, time happens, and relationships happen,
- 7:58Speaker 2: and life happens, and you start to don't see the
- 8:00Speaker 2: people as much, like really, you know, you still love
- 8:02Speaker 2: them and care, but you just don't see them as
- 8:03Speaker 2: much and so when you have like little reunions like
- 8:06Speaker 2: this years later, it is the most fun. Uh, it
- 8:11Speaker 2: is incredible. But there was this element, you know where
- 8:15Speaker 2: we anytime you go to a reunion, there's gonna be
- 8:18Speaker 2: people that have dated each other from the show before,
- 8:20Speaker 2: either via paradise or just from the seasons that happened.
- 8:25Speaker 2: And Jason Tartik and Caitlyn Bristow obviously were a very
- 8:27Speaker 2: popular couple in Bachelor Nation. They broke up, you know,
- 8:31Speaker 2: three months ago. It was it was a big deal.
- 8:34Speaker 2: It still is a big deal. They were both at
- 8:36Speaker 2: this wedding and here's the headline. We talked about it
- 8:39Speaker 2: again in detail during the breakdown, but the headline just
- 8:42Speaker 2: to to kind of revisit this subject. What is Jason
- 8:44Speaker 2: Tartik and Caitlin Bristow have a great reunion three months
- 8:48Speaker 2: after split.
- 8:50Speaker 3: So basically, the audience, the fandom vaccination got to hear
- 8:56Speaker 3: from us. I'm sure they'll get to hear from Kaitlin
- 8:58Speaker 3: on her podcast, but they I saw it on Instagram
- 9:01Speaker 3: when she posted a picture of congratulations. Chris and Lauren
- 9:04Speaker 3: love this incestuous family so much. I told Chris I'm
- 9:08Speaker 3: gonna need three to five business days to cover from
- 9:10Speaker 3: the most perfect wedding of all time. I love Love
- 9:13Speaker 3: and Jason wrote in the comments, it was great seeing
- 9:17Speaker 3: u KB, and then she responded directly at him, great
- 9:21Speaker 3: seeing you two jt rip to the dance floor because
- 9:25Speaker 3: we all killed it.
- 9:26Speaker 2: It was great, Rodney. They we talked about it, you know,
- 9:30Speaker 2: we were just all very impressed that they did it
- 9:34Speaker 2: the way they did it, Like they confronted it. They
- 9:37Speaker 2: made it awkward at like for like two seconds, and
- 9:40Speaker 2: then it wasn't for the rest of the weekend, which
- 9:42Speaker 2: was really just like I learned a lot from them.
- 9:45Speaker 2: I don't think I would have handled it the same way,
- 9:49Speaker 2: just because I'm probably a lot more immature.
- 9:52Speaker 3: No, Ben, we all know they say that, but you
- 9:54Speaker 3: would have been amazing.
- 9:56Speaker 2: But it was really special to see how just like
- 10:00Speaker 2: nice they made it and how much they focused on
- 10:02Speaker 2: Chris and Lauren's wedding. Well, this headline is super impressive
- 10:05Speaker 2: to me. We had Zach Clark on an episode a
- 10:09Speaker 2: few months ago talking about addiction. You know, the response
- 10:13Speaker 2: was really incredible from all of the listeners just who
- 10:18Speaker 2: have dealt with it or have a family member dealing
- 10:20Speaker 2: with it. Zach opened up share a lot of wisdom
- 10:22Speaker 2: and advice. Well He Joe Grocery Store. Joe, Matt, and
- 10:27Speaker 2: Matt James all ran the New York City Marathon this
- 10:32Speaker 2: last weekend. They had some incredible, incredibly impressive times. Ashley,
- 10:38Speaker 2: you know, I haven't read this breakdown yet who won
- 10:42Speaker 2: out of all of them? I know all of them
- 10:44Speaker 2: should be really proud of the times that they you know, well,
- 10:47Speaker 2: they just did it. I think they should be proud
- 10:49Speaker 2: of the fact that they just did it first, the
- 10:51Speaker 2: times that they had.
- 10:52Speaker 3: I'm so curious as to what Zach's is. I don't
- 10:55Speaker 3: know that he announced it, and if he did, he
- 10:57Speaker 3: didn't announce it on his main feed. We only have
- 11:01Speaker 3: the numbers for Matt James and for Joe. Matt's was
- 11:06Speaker 3: a new personal best at three hours in I guess
- 11:10Speaker 3: three hours and four minutes.
- 11:13Speaker 1: That's great.
- 11:14Speaker 3: And then Joe got three hours in fifty eight minutes
- 11:19Speaker 3: and he ran with clothes with Zach for Zach's Foundation
- 11:24Speaker 3: Release Recovery, which if you guys listen to our podcast
- 11:27Speaker 3: with him, he talked all about it's a nonprofit dedicated
- 11:30Speaker 3: to ensuring that all who are ready and willing to
- 11:33Speaker 3: seek professional treatment for substance abuse are able to just
- 11:37Speaker 3: don't know, just don't know what Zach got, But I
- 11:39Speaker 3: feel like Zach is just like a professional runner for
- 11:41Speaker 3: some reason. And I'm sure he got a very impressive score.
- 11:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm doing a little quick math here. It feels
- 11:50Speaker 2: like some Matt James ran somewhere around a seven to
- 11:53Speaker 2: ten mile on average for the whole thing. To go
- 11:56Speaker 2: to three or four, that's incredible.
- 11:59Speaker 1: Wow.
- 12:00Speaker 2: Yeah, Rodney, have you done a marathon?
- 12:02Speaker 1: I haven't. I was just talking with my girlfriend about
- 12:04Speaker 1: it recently.
- 12:05Speaker 4: I'm like, I got to build myself up to get
- 12:07Speaker 4: to that level because that just takes so much discipline.
- 12:10Speaker 1: But I love it, especially from those three. I'm like, man,
- 12:14Speaker 1: I love it. Lead the way.
- 12:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I need you know, I'm thirty four. I need
- 12:19Speaker 2: something in my life to push me to do something
- 12:22Speaker 2: good for myself. And I feel like a marathon is
- 12:25Speaker 2: kind of like always staring me in the face, and
- 12:27Speaker 2: I just have a hard time getting my mind wrapped
- 12:29Speaker 2: around running that far for that long.
- 12:32Speaker 3: My boggling. Everybody who listens to this podcast knows that.
- 12:35Speaker 3: Like I go on a buy monthly rant about how
- 12:37Speaker 3: I have no idea how people do this impressive.
- 12:40Speaker 1: It's so crazy to me. But one day, Ben, one day,
- 12:44Speaker 1: we're gonna do one.
- 12:45Speaker 2: You know, I just did the Malibu Traathlon. It's a stree,
- 12:49Speaker 2: it's still it's still really fun, and it's still you know,
- 12:51Speaker 2: you train for and everything. But I showed up and
- 12:54Speaker 2: there are some guys that are in some recent seasons
- 12:58Speaker 2: of The Bachelor there and it was really great. I
- 13:01Speaker 2: didn't know they were going to be there. I kind
- 13:02Speaker 2: of saw him at the end, but I was like,
- 13:03Speaker 2: how cool would it be if the people interested in
- 13:06Speaker 2: doing a trathlon or a marathon or something that from
- 13:09Speaker 2: the Bachelor world all we said, Hey, let's hold each
- 13:11Speaker 2: other accountable and go do it. I think it would
- 13:14Speaker 2: be fun. So maybe one day, Rodney, I can see
- 13:16Speaker 2: you at the finish line at one of these events
- 13:20Speaker 2: and we can celebrate together. Yeah, we need to do it. Pushed.
- 13:24Speaker 3: I found Seed's time.
- 13:26Speaker 2: What is his time?
- 13:28Speaker 3: Three hours and forty one minutes in sixteen seconds, so
- 13:31Speaker 3: he place his right in between the two guys.
- 13:34Speaker 2: I mean, that's so good. I have a feeling Zach
- 13:36Speaker 2: is like a very rhythmic runner. I don't think he's
- 13:38Speaker 2: out there to like win the race. I think He's
- 13:40Speaker 2: out there to do it well and have fun with it.
- 13:43Speaker 2: Zach's a good runner. He's like a part of the
- 13:45Speaker 2: New York Legs. Yeah, Matt's If you look at Matt,
- 13:49Speaker 2: I mean, he just looks like a dude that could
- 13:51Speaker 2: run like five minute miles for seven hours.
- 13:55Speaker 1: These guys are athletes, athletes.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Leslie Murphy welcome a second baby, girl, Lily James. And
- 14:02Speaker 2: she says this, this is a big comment. Fam is
- 14:06Speaker 2: now complete.
- 14:07Speaker 3: Mm hmm, yeah, she said, famous complete. Everybody's over the moon.
- 14:11Speaker 3: Lily James was born on November two, said thanks for
- 14:15Speaker 3: all the prayers and well wishes. We're all doing great.
- 14:19Speaker 3: And you know we have Bachelorination chiming in with all
- 14:22Speaker 3: their congrats. Tenley, Sarah Herron, Claire Crawley, Raven really really
- 14:28Speaker 3: happy for them. Congratulations and yeah, families complete. That's all
- 14:31Speaker 3: I'm gonna feel after our seconds born too. Okay, we're done.
- 14:35Speaker 2: You're gonna make are you gonna make Jerry get the
- 14:38Speaker 2: snip snip?
- 14:40Speaker 3: I don't know. I've been thinking about that recently. But
- 14:42Speaker 3: I also hear like horror stories from horror stories, quote
- 14:45Speaker 3: quote from where people are like like somehow the opening
- 14:50Speaker 3: like opens up a few months later and you're pregnant again.
- 14:55Speaker 3: So I'm like, I don't know, I like beyond birth
- 14:56Speaker 3: control because my my I like to block out all
- 14:59Speaker 3: those our bones. My skin loves breath control.
- 15:04Speaker 2: Oh goodness, Well, good for Jared. I guess this headline
- 15:20Speaker 2: is really sweet. And we have gotten to see the
- 15:24Speaker 2: Golden Bachelor episode this week, Rodney, and I will say
- 15:26Speaker 2: that this story, this headline kind of comes full circle
- 15:30Speaker 2: once you watch this week's episode, but we're gonna say
- 15:34Speaker 2: it anyways because I think it's a great tease to
- 15:35Speaker 2: then go into the Golden Bachelor here later this week
- 15:40Speaker 2: the Golden Bachelor, Susan discusses Chris Jenner comparison and if
- 15:44Speaker 2: she's heard from Chris now. Rodney, first question is, have
- 15:47Speaker 2: you been watching The Golden Bachelor?
- 15:49Speaker 1: Sadly, I have not.
- 15:50Speaker 4: All my friends have gotten on my case saying I
- 15:52Speaker 4: need to watch it because it's so good last season's ever.
- 15:55Speaker 3: Well, it's a quick watch, like you can basically be
- 15:58Speaker 3: caught up with five Like if you just like have
- 16:01Speaker 3: an off day, just five hours and you're done.
- 16:05Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to binge it later tonight.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Yeah, it's really good, but Susan is a really lovable
- 16:11Speaker 2: character who you know is no longer on The Golden Bachelor.
- 16:15Speaker 2: Gary did send her home. But she looks just like
- 16:17Speaker 2: Chris Jenner and has like a very big, bubbly personality,
- 16:21Speaker 2: And so that's where this is coming from. She's been
- 16:22Speaker 2: getting tons of comparisons. So Ashley, what does she say?
- 16:26Speaker 3: Yeah, So she says that Chris has not reached out yet,
- 16:28Speaker 3: even though Chris is a vocal fan of the Bachelor franchise.
- 16:31Speaker 3: She said that for thirty years, wherever she goes, Atlantic City,
- 16:35Speaker 3: the Bahamas, Italy, somebody has said it, but she's never
- 16:37Speaker 3: been asked for an autograph. She also says it'd be
- 16:40Speaker 3: a dream come true to meet her. And this is
- 16:42Speaker 3: where I think it gets really funny. She goes, I
- 16:44Speaker 3: think I remind people of her because of my short,
- 16:47Speaker 3: dark hair and when I wear makeup. She goes, and
- 16:50Speaker 3: poor Kathy is getting Caitlyn. But Caitlyn does look fabulous
- 16:54Speaker 3: right now. Kathy and Susan have really been leading into
- 16:59Speaker 3: the whole Haitlin and Chris thing on social media. It's
- 17:02Speaker 3: like a big joke. And then even Kathy said, Susan
- 17:07Speaker 3: and Kathy we became great pals during the filming, call
- 17:11Speaker 3: us Chris and Caitlin. We are friends and we love
- 17:13Speaker 3: being Golden. So even even Kathy is leaning into it.
- 17:17Speaker 2: And again there is a teaser this week where I
- 17:21Speaker 2: think I could say Christianer may just make an appearance.
- 17:25Speaker 2: Oh really, Bachelor, So everybody can stay tuned to that.
- 17:29Speaker 2: That is not ruining anything, but you could just be
- 17:32Speaker 2: excited about the idea that Christian or just may be
- 17:36Speaker 2: making an appearance.
- 17:36Speaker 3: I love how no matter how big Chris Janner gets,
- 17:39Speaker 3: because I just do feel like she gets more and
- 17:40Speaker 3: more epic every year, she still is a loyal Bachelor friend.
- 17:44Speaker 3: She still finds time for the franchise during her week somehow.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Why not? Why not? It's great. I hosted a show
- 17:50Speaker 2: with Christianer once the after show, she came to show
- 17:53Speaker 2: ye n for the whole show. And then Kim was
- 17:57Speaker 2: there in like the dressing rooms.
- 17:59Speaker 3: Life Kim in the back because I went there, they
- 18:02Speaker 3: let me to go a little, me go in the
- 18:03Speaker 3: crowd because they're like, you.
- 18:05Speaker 2: Know, noam, I think I remember that I've met him
- 18:09Speaker 2: all somehow. But yes, it was wild. It was like
- 18:12Speaker 2: the whole face like it was a very weird moment
- 18:14Speaker 2: to like see the family operate, not with cameras in
- 18:17Speaker 2: their face, because they were like just a very nice family. Okay,
- 18:21Speaker 2: this is a huge headline. I saw this posted I
- 18:26Speaker 2: think like us Weekly kind of shared this this week,
- 18:30Speaker 2: and I was confused by this headline because for for
- 18:34Speaker 2: most of the season, I believe they are best friends.
- 18:38Speaker 2: They were so close and I really have no backstory
- 18:41Speaker 2: to this. So Ashley, I'm very excited or interested. I
- 18:43Speaker 2: guess not excited. This is sad headline. I'm interested And
- 18:47Speaker 2: if you know anything more than I do, or maybe
- 18:49Speaker 2: you do, Rodney, I don't know. The headline's this why
- 18:53Speaker 2: Caitlin Bristow says Dancing with the Stars pro Alan Bernston
- 18:58Speaker 2: won't speak to her.
- 19:00Speaker 3: Okay, so she was on Cheryl Burke's podcast on November sixth,
- 19:04Speaker 3: that episode and she said that when she last went
- 19:08Speaker 3: to the Dancing with the Stars set, still won't talk
- 19:10Speaker 3: to her. Says, he walked right past me on Dancing
- 19:13Speaker 3: with the Stars. He won't call me back, and I
- 19:15Speaker 3: profusely apologize on my podcast. And she says, apologize on
- 19:20Speaker 3: our podcast because she's obviously trying to get in touch
- 19:21Speaker 3: with them and apologize in a more personal way. But
- 19:24Speaker 3: so what happened was back in September, she said on
- 19:27Speaker 3: her podcast, she goes, well, she said Alan's a dick,
- 19:32Speaker 3: but then she's trying to She defends what she was
- 19:35Speaker 3: saying and gives a little more context to it on
- 19:37Speaker 3: the podcast, with Cheryl saying that, like, I started describing
- 19:41Speaker 3: how each of each one of them, in my opinion,
- 19:44Speaker 3: were in the ballroom. You know what their general are is,
- 19:47Speaker 3: And I said, you know, Alan's like he's really going
- 19:50Speaker 3: to push you. He's kind of a dick. And then
- 19:53Speaker 3: I said, actually, Ardam will really push you. Actually they're
- 19:58Speaker 3: all kind of dicks, but lovable dix. Alan again is
- 20:02Speaker 3: one of my closest friends out of the whole show.
- 20:05Speaker 3: So I'm just like, can you please pick up my
- 20:06Speaker 3: phone call? But he will not respond, not talk to me.
- 20:10Speaker 3: It's sad. So I don't know whether I'm assuming for
- 20:15Speaker 3: him to not talk to her, he must have like
- 20:18Speaker 3: actually gone and listened to the original podcast episode and
- 20:21Speaker 3: heard the contact and maybe he still didn't like it.
- 20:26Speaker 2: Here's the deal, here's a question for you. Running you're
- 20:29Speaker 2: offended by something somebody says, it happens, you know, I'm
- 20:33Speaker 2: a very sensitive, insecure soul, and so people can say
- 20:37Speaker 2: things and it like stabs me fairly often. In fact,
- 20:42Speaker 2: it just happened last night. I just called my buddy.
- 20:44Speaker 2: I was like, what would you think if somebody said
- 20:45Speaker 2: this to you? And he was like, yeah, that's just
- 20:48Speaker 2: you know, kind of a jerk. It's something to say.
- 20:50Speaker 2: So if somebody says something publicly, like on a podcast
- 20:53Speaker 2: about you, like, hey, Rodney is a really tough coach.
- 20:57Speaker 2: He is really mean, but he's a lovable mean, you
- 21:01Speaker 2: know that kind of thing, and they go to podcasts
- 21:04Speaker 2: and say it, would it make you want to reach
- 21:07Speaker 2: out to them more or less? Like do you think
- 21:10Speaker 2: Caitlin's speaking about this public and saying, hey, now you
- 21:12Speaker 2: know writing won't even pick on my phone calls. Would
- 21:14Speaker 2: that make you want to say, hey, it's time to
- 21:16Speaker 2: settle this or say no, I'm not diving into the
- 21:20Speaker 2: deep end.
- 21:21Speaker 4: That's a great question. Honestly, I'd probably say less because
- 21:25Speaker 4: at that point that person can reach out to me.
- 21:28Speaker 4: I'm I obviously we're we're human beings, so I can
- 21:31Speaker 4: be sensitive at times too, but I know that I'm
- 21:35Speaker 4: more so of a you know, I'll forgive but I
- 21:37Speaker 4: won't forget. And it's just like, hey, if you said
- 21:40Speaker 4: something about me, please address it to me face to
- 21:42Speaker 4: face instead of you know, going on podcasts and stuff
- 21:45Speaker 4: like that. So yeah, I'm just one of those people
- 21:49Speaker 4: where if something said about me, just address it with
- 21:51Speaker 4: me and we'll take care of it.
- 21:53Speaker 1: And I'll you know.
- 21:54Speaker 4: I'll definitely still forgive, but it's like I can't forget
- 21:56Speaker 4: that you said something and spoke on my character when
- 21:59Speaker 4: most people who know me wouldn't say that about me.
- 22:03Speaker 2: If if that, yeah, Ashley, what about you?
- 22:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know. This is a tough situation. It
- 22:09Speaker 3: would all be about the tone eventually, Yeah, it's it's
- 22:14Speaker 3: got to be about the tone. And if they're like
- 22:16Speaker 3: really close friends, I would imagine that the tone couldn't
- 22:19Speaker 3: have been too serious. I would probably be like he
- 22:23Speaker 3: didn't Yeah, I know that's what I mean, And I
- 22:25Speaker 3: don't know. I would probably be like what why did
- 22:28Speaker 3: you do? Why did you call me that? Like what
- 22:31Speaker 3: that's really that's so weird. I would be like, that's
- 22:33Speaker 3: like kind of just like weird that you said that,
- 22:35Speaker 3: and then I'd probably let it go.
- 22:38Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, and I think knowing Caitlyn like Caitlyn is
- 22:42Speaker 2: the thing we all love about her, but the thing
- 22:44Speaker 2: that gets her into trouble is she and why she's
- 22:46Speaker 2: a great podcast. So she is an open book, like
- 22:49Speaker 2: she just says what's on her mind. She says it
- 22:51Speaker 2: and then, like I bet ninety nine percent of time
- 22:54Speaker 2: after a podcast she's like, goodness, gracious, I probably I
- 22:56Speaker 2: shouldn't have said that. Yeah, Like it's just the way
- 22:58Speaker 2: she is. Yeah, she means anything by it, but he
- 23:02Speaker 2: he must have taken offense to it. Yeah, I don't know.
- 23:06Speaker 1: That's what.
- 23:06Speaker 3: You gotta say something pretty bad to get me like that,
- 23:09Speaker 3: mad or, I'm not going to talk to you.
- 23:11Speaker 1: And was this her partner on Dancing with the Star Noka.
- 23:14Speaker 2: It wasn't. I thought it was so Ardam was her partner.
- 23:16Speaker 3: Yeah, but she calls Artam a dick too in the
- 23:20Speaker 3: original podcast.
- 23:21Speaker 2: Maybe nobody's talking to Kaitlin. I don't know. We we all.
- 23:26Speaker 3: Love Jason's talking to Kaitlin.
- 23:27Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, she's back in the game again. We all
- 23:31Speaker 2: love Kaylin. I love that she's wildly outrageous and says
- 23:34Speaker 2: stuff all the time. Uh okay, that's all the headlines
- 23:37Speaker 2: we have for you today. Rodney again. You're coming back
- 23:40Speaker 2: for an in depth episode. We're going to talk about
- 23:42Speaker 2: your love life. We're going to talk about all the
- 23:43Speaker 2: things going on in your life. We're going to talk
- 23:45Speaker 2: about the football season that I enjoyed following via social media.
- 23:49Speaker 2: We got a lot to catch up with you on
- 23:51Speaker 2: The Lovable Rodney will be back for an in depth episode.
- 23:54Speaker 2: But until that episode, and until next time, I've been.
