- 0:00And welcome to another edition of the Urancha Radio Podcast.
- 0:03I am your host, Jim Watkins, and today it won't be a long
- 0:07podcast, but I did want to pass along what I think is some
- 0:10really good information. We've got a spotlight series
- 0:14that I am fortunate and humble enough to be hosting for the
- 0:17folks over at the Urancha Foundation, so I'm excited about
- 0:20that. I'll share that with you.
- 0:22Also, I got an interesting e-mail from a close friend about
- 0:25the podcast and I want to address some of it and some
- 0:29things about the way that Jesus taught the truth and what we can
- 0:33learn from his example. And then I've also posted a new
- 0:37article on my website urantiaradio.net, and it talks
- 0:41about the importance of the Urantia book in this day and
- 0:44age. So we'll get to all that in just
- 0:45a moment here on the Urantia Radio Podcast.
- 1:02Don't ask me exactly how I can explain this or the science
- 1:06behind it, but you're listening to what the astronomers have
- 1:12picked up as audio signals from the Sagittarius energy field.
- 1:21And I think the Sagittarius constellation is where the
- 1:26headquarters world of Salvington is.
- 1:28Can somebody please correct me on that?
- 1:31I'd like to know if if that's an accurate statement.
- 1:34I believe it is. I I believe they say that the
- 1:36the energy epicenter of Nebedon is in the Sagittarius star
- 1:43system. So I that's the sound of audio
- 1:47or energy coming from Sagittarius and amazing when
- 1:59it's beautiful in a lot of ways. I'm just sorry it's in mono.
- 2:04I wish it was in stereo. Welcome, welcome to the Urantia
- 2:06Radio Podcast and I am excited about something coming up that
- 2:13will be on this Saturday. So today is the 11th, I think
- 2:17it's the 13th and I'm going to do a spotlight series on the
- 2:22Urantia Foundation's Spotlight series series.
- 2:25And if you want to find out, if you want to listen, I think it's
- 2:27at 12:00 or 12:00 PM on Saturday, January 13th, that's
- 2:34Eastern Time. If you live in another time
- 2:38zone, I think it's 11:00 AM Central and 9:00 AM Pacific.
- 2:44And I'm going to be talking about mental illness and some
- 2:47things that I picked up on the Arrancha book about the way that
- 2:52they address mental illness. And and it's built around paper.
- 2:56I think it's 61 or paper 161 where Jesus meets a little boy
- 3:03or a boy in the hills and the boy is very troubled and very
- 3:06anxious and he avoids his friends.
- 3:10And Jesus picks up on this when he meets him alone in the hills
- 3:14and tries to engage in the young lad.
- 3:16And he finally does win the boy over to him and opens him up and
- 3:20and then gives him what I think is really great advice on how to
- 3:23overcome anxiety and fear in the world.
- 3:27And I got to thinking about how much money and resources and
- 3:32time and effort goes into treating people who are
- 3:35suffering from anxiety and fear, which is natural because we are
- 3:41animal origin beings and animals are naturally fearful and throw
- 3:46in a little intelligence and some consciousness in there and
- 3:49you've got some potential for real problems.
- 3:53And the arrange book also says many times that the world is
- 3:57very unsettling right now because it's going through such
- 4:00a a drastic transition. I think in paper 195 it says man
- 4:05is unsettled and naturally because for thousands of years
- 4:10things just sort of went at a steady pace.
- 4:13Not much change from generation, or every once in a while there'd
- 4:16be some epical change, but by and large everything was on a
- 4:20steady course. But then all the sudden the 19th
- 4:22century happened and we were off and running.
- 4:25And the world is very complex. And when you see people that are
- 4:28out on the street or homeless or suffering from anxiety or all
- 4:32kinds of different disorders, you start to realize that this
- 4:36shift to this, this transition is not easy on people.
- 4:41And This is why I think many people can't, at least in our
- 4:45country, they have trouble. And how does our society
- 4:49respond? Well, take this a lot of
- 4:52problems that we have, our addiction problems and what do
- 4:55we do to fix that? We prescribe more drugs.
- 5:00I think everybody statistically is on something these days and
- 5:04and and it's not helping. And that's my point is that I, I
- 5:08I'm involved in a lot of news and information gathering for
- 5:13another podcast that I do. And almost every time there's a
- 5:16shooting or some sort of mass violence attack, it's typically
- 5:21mostly done by somebody who is is actually being treated for
- 5:26mental illness. And then there's a lot of
- 5:29studies out the one particular that I read twice is Doctor
- 5:34Thomas Staz's report in the 1960s that he believes that a
- 5:39lot of mental illness is directly tied to anxiety and
- 5:43fear, anxiety and fear. And the Urantia Book has all of
- 5:49these incredible statements about how the powers that can be
- 5:55unlocked from the reservoirs of the human mind if we allow the
- 5:58spirit to play a role in some of our problem solving.
- 6:02And so that's what the presentation is about.
- 6:05It's taking some of the statements from the Orangi book
- 6:08and applying them and and then asking the question, should
- 6:11psychiatry, should big Pharma? Should counselors?
- 6:16Should people who are in the in the business of therapy
- 6:19providing therapy to their patients, doctors, counselors,
- 6:25case managers, maybe they should take a look at what the Orantia
- 6:29book is saying, which is that people are also spirit into well
- 6:33beings. And that spirit has a lot of
- 6:35potential, a lot of potential in helping us again unlock the
- 6:40powers within ourselves. So if you read Alone in the
- 6:43Hills, that paragraph with Jesus and the young man, you'll
- 6:48understand the premise of the The Spotlight series and I'm
- 6:51doing and I hope you'll join me for it.
- 6:54You know, I enjoy putting it together and and I really would
- 6:57love it if you could come on over to the Foundation and watch
- 7:00it. If you go to theurencha.org, I'm
- 7:02sure you'll find something about the Spotlight series.
- 7:05And I again, it's Saturday the 13th of January.
- 7:08If I got that right. What is today?
- 7:10Today is the 11th, So yeah, it would be the 13th at noon or
- 7:151:00 PM Eastern, 1:00 PM Eastern, noon Central, and then
- 7:2110:00 AM Pacific. And if you're in Brazil, or if
- 7:25you're in Jerusalem or somewhere, the Netherlands,
- 7:28Canada, you'll have to do whatever you do to come out
- 7:33right? And and I think they'll have a
- 7:34copy of it too. So, you know.
- 7:36Anyway, what else is going on? Oh, I wrote a new article which
- 7:40is up on my Urantra radio.net, and it just sort of came out one
- 7:44day and I and I just said, you know what?
- 7:46Enough is enough. Enough is enough.
- 7:49Why is it that we are not using the Arrancha book to help us
- 7:53solve all the problems going on in our world today?
- 7:58And I want to read through a paper on that and and show you
- 8:01what I'm talking about because it seems like the world is not
- 8:05getting any less stressful. And in fact, a lot of people are
- 8:08very nervous about the world right now.
- 8:12The elections are coming up. That creates its own set of
- 8:14tensions. We've got these wars, We've got
- 8:17wars and rumors of wars. A lot of Christians, a lot of
- 8:20people that I know of the Christian faith are really
- 8:23convinced that if these, not, if these are not the end times,
- 8:26they are certainly epical times. And and I believe that the
- 8:32Arrancha book couldn't help solve a lot of our problems.
- 8:36And I'm going to get to that. But I got an e-mail this week
- 8:40where someone was talking to me about the Arrancha Podcast and
- 8:45they said, you know, Jim, I've known you forever.
- 8:47And I don't know much about the Arrancha book, but I I listened
- 8:50to a couple of your podcast and I just don't understand what the
- 8:53Arrancha Book is about. And I went, wow, that's a
- 8:58profound statement, right? Here I am, 150 episodes in.
- 9:03Well over 100,000 people have listened to these podcasts.
- 9:07I get all these nice emails from people, thank you for this,
- 9:10Thank you for that. But then I get somebody who I
- 9:12know and knows me and and they've taken the time to listen
- 9:17and they say, I don't get it, what What is, what is the book?
- 9:20What what? What are you trying to tell us?
- 9:23So this comes into my thoughts to ponder. e-mail today and I'll
- 9:27read it to you because this is in a nutshell, what the Arrancha
- 9:31book is all about. The material universe is always
- 9:35the arena wherein takes place. All spiritual activities, spirit
- 9:40beings and spirit ascenders, live and work on physical
- 9:44spheres of material reality. That's from paper 12, Section 8,
- 9:50paragraph one. So that's the premise of the
- 9:54Uranja book. They say, well, what do you
- 9:57mean, what's what do you mean? That's the premise.
- 9:58OK, well, what do people really need to know right now?
- 10:03What is it that people in the mainstream, in the main, young
- 10:07people, nuns, what are they really searching for?
- 10:11If we accept the premise of the Urantia Book, which is that
- 10:15we're all spiritually endowed by our spirit Creator Father, with
- 10:20whom we can have a relationship with, because his actual spirit
- 10:24presence is in us, in the citadel of our minds.
- 10:29And then we have the spirit of truth, which is the spirit that
- 10:32comes from the bestowal Son, Christ Michael.
- 10:36And then we have the Holy Spirit, which originates from
- 10:39the daughter of the infinite spirit, Michael's wife,
- 10:44spiritual partner for eternity. So all of these spirit
- 10:48influences are coming into us, but we're not either detecting
- 10:53them or we're not tuned to them, or we're not hearing them as
- 10:57effectively. Maybe it's because of all the
- 10:59noise. Maybe it's because we live in a
- 11:02material age, but when you think about the article that I wrote,
- 11:06which is that this Erantia book is an epical revelation that
- 11:11that's saying something because it compares it to the Calagasia
- 11:15arrival and the 100 who later went on to become the Nodites
- 11:20from the Bible. And then we have Adam and Eve
- 11:22with the epical revelation, these two spiritual beings
- 11:25coming to our world to up step us biologically and spiritually.
- 11:31And then we have Melchizedek who shows up one day around 2000
- 11:35years ago and starts setting up a school and teaching
- 11:39monotheism. Monotheism was introduced and it
- 11:41carried on. And Abraham was the the great
- 11:44ambassador of that that great religion that was bestowed by
- 11:49him from a an intelligent spiritual personality that was
- 11:54an epical revelation. And then, of course, it was to
- 11:57prepare the world for the next epical revelation, which was the
- 12:00Bestowal Son, Jesus of Nazareth. And the Urantia Book restates
- 12:06all of these epical revelations. And then it is of itself is an
- 12:12epical revelation, because it's revealing to us what what is the
- 12:17Urantia Book revealing to us what is its epical import?
- 12:22That we're not alone, that our universe is not accidental.
- 12:29That we are not just drifting through space on a spinning ball
- 12:32without purpose, without reason. There's a great comedian.
- 12:37I'll have to try to find it. And he's talking about people
- 12:39who believe that the universe came from nothing.
- 12:43And then when we die, we we all go back to nothing.
- 12:47And the guy says so. What you're saying is that the
- 12:50universe was created by nothing. And when we die, we go back to
- 12:55the Creator, who is nothing. Now he of course is being
- 12:59facetious about it, but his point is made.
- 13:01How could we possibly discard religion as fables and mystery
- 13:06and superstition, but at the same time adopt A philosophy
- 13:10that is not only inconsistent with science, which that
- 13:14something can come from nothing, but then we also take the
- 13:17scientific, materialistic attitude that nothing has
- 13:21purpose, that this is all just inconsequential, that which one
- 13:27is the greater fable? Which one is harder to believe?
- 13:31So the Uranja book is asserting that there's life outside of our
- 13:34own solar system. It gives us an origination of
- 13:39our solar parents. It talks about the beginnings of
- 13:44our creation itself, our local area of creation, and it gives
- 13:52us a conceptual space to work with.
- 13:56So when you hear this line again, I'll read it from paper
- 13:5912, Section 8. The material universe is always
- 14:03the arena wherein takes place all spiritual activities, spirit
- 14:08beings and spirit ascenders that would be us live and work on
- 14:13physical spheres of material reality.
- 14:19Now in my article that you can read at urantraradio.net says
- 14:24that Jesus introduced the idea of a spiritual Kingdom and so
- 14:29he's perforce saying my Kingdom is of another sphere or another
- 14:34world or another place, and what he's referring to is the
- 14:39universe of his creation, which is the universe that we live in.
- 14:46That's a conceptual presentation.
- 14:49So the Urantia Book picks up where Christ left off, and I
- 14:53explained in the article that the the Revelators thought that
- 14:58we had enough people on our world that were advanced enough
- 15:02now that we could start to take in this information and we could
- 15:08put some context into what life is all about.
- 15:12One of the things that I find very interesting about the
- 15:15beginning of part three of the book is its explanation of how
- 15:23Christ Michael was assigned a region of space that was
- 15:26basically void. In fact, do I have time to read
- 15:31it? It's quite funny actually, But
- 15:33let me let me see if I can find it.
- 15:34Stand by. All right, I found it.
- 15:36It's from paper 57 and it's it's the beginning of Part 3 which
- 15:39talks about the origin of your ranch in the history of our
- 15:42world. And it writes 987 billion years
- 15:46ago, associate force organizer and then acting inspector number
- 15:51811,307 of the Orvinson series traveling out from Uversa, which
- 15:58is our central universe, reported to the ancients of days
- 16:01that space conditions were favorable for the initiation of
- 16:05materialization phenomena in a certain sector of then the early
- 16:09easterly segment of Orventon, which is our central universe.
- 16:14And then it says 900 million billion years ago, the Universal
- 16:18Archives testify, there was recorded a permit issued by the
- 16:24University Council of Equilibrium to the Super
- 16:28universe government authorizing the dispatch of a force
- 16:32organizer and staff to the region previously designated by
- 16:36that inspector that we referred to, Inspector #811 three O 7.
- 16:41So what they're saying is in the early beginnings of our local
- 16:44creation, there was vast space, but there was nothing in it when
- 16:50it when the Urantia Book talks about the outer levels of the
- 16:53universe that are that that have some form, but they're they lack
- 16:58energy even though God's presence is there.
- 17:03Nothing has yet started to take place on a materialistic level
- 17:07or on a level where evolutionary worlds are starting to appear.
- 17:11That's not happening yet. It's kind of like when Lewis and
- 17:16Clark started exploring the United States, you know, in its
- 17:18early days, and they were going out and finding this vast area
- 17:21of space that was completely uninhabited.
- 17:24So this comes across my desk from science alerts Bizarre
- 17:28Galaxy Discovered with Seemingly no stars whatsoever, published
- 17:32January 11th, 2024 by Michelle Starr.
- 17:35I get a kick out of out of these people, right?
- 17:38Says a newly discovered object is stretching our understanding
- 17:41of what constitutes a Galaxy called Jo 613 + 52.
- 17:47This massive BLOB of something some 270 million light years
- 17:51away appears to have no stars whatsoever.
- 17:56At least no one. None that can be seen.
- 17:58It's just a haze made of a kind of gas that's found between
- 18:02stars in normal galaxies, drifting around by its lone self
- 18:06like an absolute badass. So maybe they have an associate
- 18:12inspector on its way to issue a permit, and maybe that will
- 18:15someday be home to a new local universe such as our own.
- 18:21Maybe that's in the workings. So maybe it's not unusual to
- 18:25have vast areas of space that are uninhabited.
- 18:29And remember, the Urantia Book was written in 19341935, way
- 18:33ahead of its time. But it makes my point that The
- 18:36Urantia Book teaches us things, and this was the point of my
- 18:39article, is that right now I would say that our world needs
- 18:44and is hungry for truth. And that truth comes in the form
- 18:48of the 5th Epochal Revelation, which asserts that we're not
- 18:52alone in the universe and we never have been.
- 18:54We are part of a collective, organized system and we are
- 18:59ascenders and we will be traveling to those shores and
- 19:03that the universe is physical. And that is where all the
- 19:06spiritual activity does indeed take place.
- 19:10Another thing that I asserted in my article is that if you just
- 19:13put aside the spiritual aspects of the Urantia Book and you just
- 19:18focus on, say, the histories, like the history of our world,
- 19:21it offers us such great information, things that we can
- 19:25actually apply to our world now, that would correct many of the
- 19:29problems that we have. For example, when it talks about
- 19:32education in Paper 71, he says the enduring state is founded on
- 19:37culture, dominated by ideals and motivated by service.
- 19:41The purpose of education should be acquirement of skill, pursuit
- 19:46of wisdom, realization of selfhood and attainment of
- 19:50spiritual values. Now can you think of any school
- 19:54that offers any of that says education is the business of
- 19:58living? It must continue throughout a
- 20:00lifetime so that mankind may gradually experience the
- 20:04ascending levels of mortal wisdom.
- 20:08Which are the knowledge of things, the realization of
- 20:11meanings, the appreciation of values, the nobility of work,
- 20:15duty, the motivation of goals, morality, the love of service,
- 20:21character and cosmic insight, spiritual discernment.
- 20:25And then, by means of these achievements, many will ascend
- 20:29to the mortal ultimate of mind attainment and God,
- 20:33consciousness. Then it goes on to talk about
- 20:36the characters of statehood. What makes a good state?
- 20:40The evolution of statehood entails progress from level to
- 20:42level, as follows. The creation of a three
- 20:45threefold government check. The freedom of social,
- 20:50political, and religious activities kind of there #3 The
- 20:54abolition of all forms of slavery and human bondage.
- 20:58We're not there yet. The ability of the citizens rate
- 21:03to control the levying of taxes. Now you start to ask yourself
- 21:07why would these revelators go to the trouble of telling us about
- 21:10the characters of statehood unless they were trying to tell
- 21:13us what the characters of statehood are to help in our
- 21:16development #5. The establishment of universal
- 21:20education learning extended from the cradle to the grape.
- 21:24If every country in the world would adopt these, what they are
- 21:2810/11/12, how many are there? 12 The worldwide Vogue of
- 21:35pursuit of wisdom. 12 ways you can run a great country.
- 21:39And that's what I'm talking. But that's what I'm referring
- 21:41to, is the fact that we should take this Urantia book that we
- 21:45have that has all this wealth of information and apply it to
- 21:50solving a lot of our earthly problems at this time.
- 21:54And I truly believe, I truly believe that that was the intent
- 21:57of the revelation to help man get to the next level, to move
- 22:01him farther away from his animalistic, fear based, anxious
- 22:05based position. And I think it's an important
- 22:11first step for us to 1st recognize that we are not alone
- 22:15and we never were. And I think every human being on
- 22:18this planet, if they knew that basic truth, they just knew that
- 22:22basic truth. Their whole world view would
- 22:26change for the better. All right, well, that's going to
- 22:38do it. I'll give you a few minutes to
- 22:39sort of take all that in. It's a lot to digest, but I sure
- 22:43appreciate you stopping by. Don't forget you can always
- 22:45reach me. eurantiabookradio@gmail.com
