- 0:27Speaker 1: So we so, Charity and I filmed the mabeling commercial
- 0:33Speaker 1: right after it, and.

- 0:43Speaker 1: Thank you?
- 0:44Speaker 3: You're right?

- 0:46Speaker 1: a year.
- 0:47Speaker 3: No, right, she doesn't have been summer because I think
- 0:49Speaker 3: she filmed over summer.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Yes, so we haven't seen each other. Yes, And I
- 0:55Speaker 1: got to come to Venice and support you and you're
- 0:59Speaker 1: what was that hosting thing?
- 1:00Speaker 4: It was with Spotify. They had me be like there
- 1:03Speaker 4: like Coastal cowgirl. Yeah, so I was like hosting a
- 1:06Speaker 4: couple of their events. Yeah, and you and Charity surprised
- 1:09Speaker 4: me and ch.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Oh we loved it. I had so much fun that night.
- 1:13Speaker 1: It was just fun to like have a girl's night. Yeah.
- 1:15Speaker 3: It was really just fun to have a girl.
- 1:18Speaker 1: And then in Seattle we went out like I, yeah, please,
- 1:22Speaker 1: I'm fifty one, I have teenagers, right, they're the ones
- 1:26Speaker 1: who probably should be partying, even though I don't think
- 1:29Speaker 1: they are.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Their two competed party.
- 1:32Speaker 1: But we were out until gosh, I want to say
- 1:35Speaker 1: four in the morning, I think.
- 1:36Speaker 3: So we were really really late.
- 1:39Speaker 2: It was so fun. I loved it.
- 1:42Speaker 1: I had so much fun. And actually we went to
- 1:45Speaker 1: Molly and Jason's for dinner. Yeah, and then that was
- 1:48Speaker 1: a great I was going to go home, like back
- 1:50Speaker 1: to the hotel, yeah, and I was so their home
- 1:54Speaker 1: is like in the suburbs, so I was like, I'll
- 1:56Speaker 1: just ride back with you guys in your uber and
- 1:59Speaker 1: the uber access to the club that you guys were
- 2:01Speaker 1: going to. But it wasn't I thought it was going
- 2:03Speaker 1: to be near the hotel, and you guys were like, well.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Just come, I'm like just kidding, you have to go.
- 2:08Speaker 4: Okay, I guess I'm going to party.
- 2:11Speaker 2: So we went to It was so much fun.
- 2:13Speaker 3: It was so fun.
- 2:14Speaker 4: It was funny because when we got back, someone had
- 2:16Speaker 4: posted a TikTok of me online and they were like,
- 2:19Speaker 4: I swear this is Daisy. But I asked her and
- 2:21Speaker 4: she said, no, it's not. And people were coming and
- 2:24Speaker 4: they were like, well, did.
- 2:25Speaker 2: You see your co clear implant?
- 2:26Speaker 4: And they were like, yes, we did, and I was like,
- 2:30Speaker 4: it wasn't me because we were like not supposed to
- 2:32Speaker 4: be known that we were there.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Really you did literally.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Say no, I'm not Daisy.
- 2:37Speaker 4: But here I had my hair like slicked back, and
- 2:40Speaker 4: I had it like on the outside, so you can
- 2:42Speaker 4: totally see that.
- 2:44Speaker 1: That is so funny. Okay, So how's life?
- 2:48Speaker 2: It's good?
- 2:49Speaker 1: Good? Yeah, yeah, I here, you already told me this,
- 2:52Speaker 1: So I'm asking you a question that I know the
- 2:55Speaker 1: answer to. But how's dating life?
- 2:57Speaker 2: Dating life is great.
- 2:58Speaker 3: I'm really happy.
- 3:00Speaker 1: I'm so happy for you.
- 3:02Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 3:03Speaker 1: I mean we talked about I asked her in the
- 3:06Speaker 1: limo right over here. We're at the Bachelor Mansion for
- 3:09Speaker 1: everybody listening a little iHeart event and podcasting event, and
- 3:15Speaker 1: in the limo, I asked if she would go on Paradise.
- 3:21Speaker 4: No, I have a boyfriend, Yes, a boyfriend.
- 3:27Speaker 2: You know.
- 3:27Speaker 1: I know everyone would love to see you on Paradise,
- 3:29Speaker 1: but everyone is more happy that you're happy.
- 3:31Speaker 3: Thank you? Yes, of course he's great.
- 3:33Speaker 1: So you guys are long distance currently or yes? How's
- 3:38Speaker 1: that going?
- 3:39Speaker 2: It's good.
- 3:39Speaker 4: I mean we see each other still really often, right,
- 3:42Speaker 4: probably every week?
- 3:43Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 3:44Speaker 1: Every week.
- 3:45Speaker 4: I mean it's such a quick flight, and like I
- 3:48Speaker 4: feel like I'm traveling so much, so sometimes he'll come
- 3:50Speaker 4: and meet me. But he also travels a lot too,
- 3:52Speaker 4: so sometimes I'll meet him.
- 3:54Speaker 1: That is. What does he do?
- 3:56Speaker 3: He does like commercial real estate?
- 3:58Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, so he can leave, yeah, and just schedule
- 4:01Speaker 1: clients like you know, kind of when Yeah, I mean
- 4:06Speaker 1: I feel like every job these days.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Yeah, you can do.
- 4:08Speaker 3: It's like weekends we see each other.
- 4:11Speaker 1: But okay, yeah, good. And are there plans to be
- 4:16Speaker 1: in the same city?
- 4:17Speaker 2: Probably I think the foreseeable future.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, good, I love it. Okay, holiday plans?
- 4:26Speaker 3: What are you doing for the holiday?
- 4:27Speaker 4: I am actually leaving tomorrowkay, going back to Minnesota, and
- 4:30Speaker 4: I'll be there until the twenty sixth with my family.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Great, and he's coming with me, and then.
- 4:37Speaker 4: On the twenty sixth then we'll fly to Utah and
- 4:40Speaker 4: be with his family and go.
- 4:43Speaker 3: In like park City, dear Valley. Yeah, I love Park City.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Yeah. So good. Have you been I have? Are you
- 4:49Speaker 1: a skier? I?
- 4:50Speaker 2: Okay?
- 4:51Speaker 4: So when I was younger, I used to ski and
- 4:52Speaker 4: then I started snowboarding, But now I'm getting back into skiing,
- 4:55Speaker 4: so I'm working on it.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Is he skier or snowboarder?
- 4:58Speaker 2: He skis?
- 4:58Speaker 1: Okay? Yeah? Is that how I you're changing?
- 5:01Speaker 2: Yeah? And I can just I can go faster.
- 5:03Speaker 3: On ski so I can keep up with people better.
- 5:08Speaker 1: How is it with your hearing on the slopes?
- 5:11Speaker 2: Like, so it's interesting.
- 5:13Speaker 4: I was really nervous about it because I hadn't really
- 5:15Speaker 4: skied since I got my cochlear implant. And then my
- 5:18Speaker 4: friends we always from college, we always went up to.
- 5:22Speaker 3: Big Bear to ski, like probably like a couple of times.
- 5:24Speaker 4: One of our guy friends has his parents have a
- 5:26Speaker 4: place aut there, so we would go stay there and ski.
- 5:28Speaker 4: And so this last year was like my first year
- 5:31Speaker 4: having my cochlear implant and going up their ski and
- 5:33Speaker 4: I was nervous about it, but I went and I
- 5:35Speaker 4: like tried on so many different helmets and I just
- 5:37Speaker 4: bought a helmet so I didn't have to worry about it.
- 5:39Speaker 4: But it's kind of fun because I can play music
- 5:42Speaker 4: into my implant, so I don't have to wear headphones
- 5:45Speaker 4: or anything. So if I'm skiing down the slopes, I
- 5:48Speaker 4: just play it into my head. That's amazing, and I
- 5:52Speaker 4: can hear pretty good with it still through you can
- 5:55Speaker 4: the helmet, yeah, which I didn't think.
- 5:56Speaker 1: So is it like a special helmet or it's no amazing? Yeah,
- 6:01Speaker 1: maybe you need to like create one.
- 6:03Speaker 3: That's yeah, that's actually a great idea. Maybe it should.
- 6:06Speaker 1: You should. Is there any favorite tradition that you have
- 6:20Speaker 1: with your family during the holidays.
- 6:24Speaker 4: We always do like takeaway bingo and stuff with my sorry,
- 6:27Speaker 4: what's take away bingo? It's like bingo, but once all
- 6:32Speaker 4: the presents have ran out, and if you get a bingo,
- 6:34Speaker 4: then I can.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Steal your present like a white elephant kind of kind of.
- 6:39Speaker 1: But their presence that people have bought like four other
- 6:43Speaker 1: people specifically, and.
- 6:44Speaker 4: They're just like, honestly, that would be crazy.
- 6:49Speaker 2: We should do that. You should. I bought you this
- 6:53Speaker 2: daisy and then someone.
- 6:55Speaker 4: Like like the one thing you ask for, can you imagine?
- 7:00Speaker 1: I know that would be horrible, but then you know whatever,
- 7:05Speaker 1: I'm sure you figure it out. Maybe I have to
- 7:07Speaker 1: stay within a certain range. Yeah, yeah, don't steal my
- 7:12Speaker 1: five hundred dollars gift, but yeah, steal my one, yes exactly.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, yeah, I don't know.
- 7:19Speaker 4: We just do fun things like that and just being
- 7:21Speaker 4: with my family. But it's weird because we're not weird.
- 7:23Speaker 4: But all of my cousins were all kind of around
- 7:25Speaker 4: the same age, so everyone's I think it's like the
- 7:27Speaker 4: span within ten years and so everyone's like getting older now,
- 7:31Speaker 4: like people are married, having kids, so now everyone has
- 7:34Speaker 4: like other families too that they have to be with.
- 7:37Speaker 4: So the last couple of years, like we haven't been
- 7:39Speaker 4: able to be together, like all of us cousins together,
- 7:41Speaker 4: and we're all like, oh wait or like grown ups,
- 7:44Speaker 4: like what's happening?
- 7:46Speaker 2: Oh wait?
- 7:47Speaker 1: And how many cousins are there? They're together all this
- 7:50Speaker 1: is this Christmas, this summer and no, we're not going
- 7:52Speaker 1: to be together, but there's holy do. I have four
- 7:56Speaker 1: on my mom's side and two on my dad's side.
- 8:01Speaker 1: But now everyone's like having.
- 8:03Speaker 4: Kids, and we're also very close with my extended family
- 8:09Speaker 4: on my mom's side, like all of her siblings ye,
- 8:12Speaker 4: and like one of my mom's my mom. Okay, this
- 8:15Speaker 4: is what I'm saying a lot, But my grandpa's family
- 8:18Speaker 4: my grandma has like six siblings, and like some of
- 8:20Speaker 4: them are like closer to my mom's age than my
- 8:23Speaker 4: grandma's age, so like their kids are more so our age,
- 8:26Speaker 4: like a little bit older than me and my siblings.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Your grand aunts are yeah, okay.
- 8:31Speaker 3: But they're like they feel like cousins, you know what
- 8:33Speaker 3: I mean.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Yeah, of course, because you're in the same age. Okay,
- 8:36Speaker 1: so you've done a ton after the show, Yeah, Bachelor obviously,
- 8:43Speaker 1: what has been one of your favorite things that you've
- 8:45Speaker 1: gotten to do, like opportunities or.
- 8:49Speaker 3: I would probably say, okay, I have I would I'll
- 8:52Speaker 3: say three.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Okay, Okay, I love it.
- 8:55Speaker 4: So I love the Daisy brand stuff that I'm doing
- 8:57Speaker 4: with days just because that's it's been so fun and yeah,
- 9:02Speaker 4: and it's something that like when I was a little
- 9:04Speaker 4: girl and I would only I didn't like eating breakfast,
- 9:07Speaker 4: but I would only eat like cottage cheese or milk
- 9:10Speaker 4: and strawberries, which is weird, but that is that's what
- 9:13Speaker 4: I wanted when I was a little girl. Yeah, I'm
- 9:15Speaker 4: gonna I mean, not your three together, but oh I
- 9:17Speaker 4: thought that's why you meant.
- 9:18Speaker 2: I know, like I would either.
- 9:19Speaker 4: Eat cottage cheese in the morning, or I would eat
- 9:22Speaker 4: like strawberries and milk is like cereal, got it, But
- 9:26Speaker 4: so it's just funny. Love it. But I love that one.
- 9:28Speaker 4: And then Cochlear America's, which is the implant brand I have.
- 9:32Speaker 4: That one has been so fun and so cool just
- 9:36Speaker 4: because I went to their annual sales meeting and most
- 9:40Speaker 4: people that work for them are audiologists or have been audiologists,
- 9:43Speaker 4: or have some really close tie to hearing loss or
- 9:46Speaker 4: cochlear implants, and so just meeting all them, it was
- 9:49Speaker 4: like a crazy full circle moment. There was somebody that
- 9:52Speaker 4: was actually in my surgery because they have to test
- 9:55Speaker 4: the electrodes when I'm like when I was put under,
- 9:58Speaker 4: and there was a lady there that was in my
- 9:59Speaker 4: surgery when I got it like almost now like.
- 10:02Speaker 1: To you like bust out. Yeah.
- 10:04Speaker 4: And then the when I found out I had to
- 10:07Speaker 4: do to co clear and plant, my surgeon gave me
- 10:09Speaker 4: like a support group to go to and the lady
- 10:12Speaker 4: that was running the support group who like introduced me
- 10:14Speaker 4: to people who have them and was like, this is
- 10:16Speaker 4: how much better you're going to be in Like here
- 10:19Speaker 4: she was there too, and she like came up and
- 10:21Speaker 4: I just started falling it was just like I was like,
- 10:23Speaker 4: who would have ever known like my life and it
- 10:27Speaker 4: would like.
- 10:27Speaker 1: And they watched you on the show, I assume, Oh
- 10:30Speaker 1: my gosh, I love that. Yeah, I mean, obviously there's
- 10:34Speaker 1: something to be said for like fun opportunities like the
- 10:38Speaker 1: Spotify thing like Special Forces. Yeah, but when it's personal, yeah,
- 10:43Speaker 1: it's all.
- 10:45Speaker 3: That's definitely cool. I can't wait to watch you on
- 10:48Speaker 3: Special Forces.
- 10:49Speaker 2: We were talking about it a little bit. It's crazy.
- 10:52Speaker 1: Yeah, it will be really interesting. Like I told you
- 10:56Speaker 1: guys in the limo, when I saw the trailer, I
- 11:00Speaker 1: died laughing at myself doing like the hardest thing I've
- 11:07Speaker 1: ever done in my life besides give birth. And I'm
- 11:10Speaker 1: laughing at myself.
- 11:11Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, it's gonna be so cool. Your kids
- 11:13Speaker 4: are like, oh my gosh, my mom's so bad ass.
- 11:16Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 11:17Speaker 1: I mean I hope they are, you know, I hope
- 11:20Speaker 1: they are, and they are proud of me. That was
- 11:23Speaker 1: one of the reasons that I did it, you know.
- 11:25Speaker 1: I want to show them that they can do hard
- 11:28Speaker 1: things and pick themselves up when they fall down. Even
- 11:31Speaker 1: though I was hoping I would never fall down, I
- 11:36Speaker 1: fell down plenty.
- 11:38Speaker 2: But you got up. That's right. But I got up.
- 11:41Speaker 2: That's that's what matters.
- 11:45Speaker 1: I love seeing you me too, I love chatting with you.
- 11:48Speaker 2: You're such a light.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Well right back at you.
- 11:51Speaker 3: I love you.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Thanks for coming on Almost Famous Age, Thank you, thanks
- 11:56Speaker 1: for having me.
