• 2:37
Speaker 3: it starts right now.
• 2:39
  Speaker 2: Story number one.
• 2:40
Speaker 3: President Trump ran on getting rid of waste, fraud and
• 2:44
Speaker 3: abuse within our government. It's something that we know has
• 2:48
Speaker 3: been rampant for quite some time, but we're finally starting
• 2:51
Speaker 3: to witness some of that waste front abuse disappear. We
• 2:55
Speaker 3: know a lot of it was done when DOGE was
• 2:57
Speaker 3: started with Elon Musk being in charge, but the journey
• 3:01
Speaker 3: is still a big one. The battle is still an
• 3:03
Speaker 3: uphill battle, and the government, we now are learning, has
• 3:07
Speaker 3: funded a lot of things that are going to make
• 3:09
Speaker 3: you want to beat your head against the wall. The
• 3:12
Speaker 3: government has funded experiments that dose dogs with cocaine. You're
• 3:20
Speaker 3: paying for that. Also, your tax dollars are paying to
• 3:23
Speaker 3: force ferrets to binge drink. Those are just some of
• 3:28
Speaker 3: the highlights coming out from Santa Rampaul's Festivus Report released
• 3:33
Speaker 3: by the end of the year. He wants you to
• 3:35
Speaker 3: know every year what your dollars have been going for
• 3:39
Speaker 3: the Kentucky Republican uses his annual holiday report to air
• 3:45
Speaker 3: the grievances and highlight examples of massive government waste, which
• 3:49
Speaker 3: is reports say total more than one point six trillion
• 3:52
Speaker 3: when counting the interest payments on debt. The twenty twenty
• 3:56
Speaker 3: five report sites examples ranging from the Department of Health
• 4:00
Speaker 3: and Human Services paying social media influencers a collective forty
• 4:06
Speaker 3: million dollars to promote COVID nineteen vaccination for racial and
• 4:12
Speaker 3: ethnic minority groups, to the State Department spending one point
• 4:15
Speaker 3: five million to boost American films, television shows, and I'm
• 4:22
Speaker 3: not joking video games abroad. No matter how much taxpayer
• 4:27
Speaker 3: money washing burns through, politicians can't help but demand more.
• 4:32
Speaker 3: Fiscal responsibility may not be the most crowded road, but
• 4:36
Speaker 3: it's one I've walked for years and years, and this
• 4:39
Speaker 3: holiday season will be no different. That's what Senator Paul
• 4:42
Speaker 3: chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee,
• 4:45
Speaker 3: said in the statement. He said, so before we go
• 4:48
Speaker 3: to the feats of strength, it's time for my airing
• 4:52
Speaker 3: of spending grievances, referring to the Festivust tradition popularized in
• 4:56
Speaker 3: the nineteen ninety sitcom Seinfeld. The b look the federal spending,
• 5:01
Speaker 3: mister Paul refers to his waist is the record, and
• 5:03
Speaker 3: this should make every American beyond angry. One point two
• 5:09
Speaker 3: trillion dollars that we spent in interest payments this year
• 5:15
Speaker 3: on the government's thirty eight point four trillion dollar debt,
• 5:19
Speaker 3: So one point four trillion of the money that was
• 5:24
Speaker 3: spent this year just went to interest that makes interest.
• 5:29
Speaker 3: And this is how out of control our government spending
• 5:31
Speaker 3: and borrowing has become the third largest government expense, only
• 5:37
Speaker 3: after Social Security and medicare. Again, something that should make
• 5:42
Speaker 3: you very, very, very angry now, he said. The government
• 5:46
Speaker 3: refuses to balance its budget and taxpayers are stuck picking
• 5:50
Speaker 3: up the trillion dollar tab annually. The more than four
• 5:54
Speaker 3: undred billion in the twenty twenty five at wasteful spending
• 5:57
Speaker 3: outline of interest payments on the debt included hundreds of
• 6:01
Speaker 3: millions spent on gain of function research laboratory experiments on dogs, monkeys,
• 6:07
Speaker 3: and rats, something we know was a disaster with a
• 6:10
Speaker 3: COVID nineteen vaccine, something that doctor Anthony Fauci's accused of
• 6:13
Speaker 3: lying to Congress on the issue of gain and function research.
• 6:17
Speaker 3: He went on to say that includes more than thirteen
• 6:21
Speaker 3: point eight million that we spent alone on beagle experiments.
• 6:28
Speaker 3: Fourteen million, six hundred and eighty three thousand, two hundred
• 6:32
Speaker 3: eighty dollars to make monkeys play a Price is Right
• 6:36
Speaker 3: inspired video game again, almost fifteen million just for that
• 6:41
Speaker 3: and so much more. He credited White Coat Ways to
• 6:45
Speaker 3: nonprofit watchdog organization that once the end government funded animal
• 6:49
Speaker 3: testing with helping identify those and other expenses. Again, bipartisanship
• 6:55
Speaker 3: is a good thing. The thirteen point eight million for
• 6:57
Speaker 3: beagle experiments refers to the ongoing showing National Institute of
• 7:01
Speaker 3: Allergy and Infectious Diseases grant funding for the University of Missouri,
• 7:05
Speaker 3: Columbia that was first approved during Anthony Fauci's tenure. The
• 7:11
Speaker 3: experiments exposed hundreds of beagles as young as four months
• 7:15
Speaker 3: old to ticks to infect the dogs with illnesses like
• 7:21
Speaker 3: Rocky Mountain spotted fever. The dogs are intentionally denied pain
• 7:24
Speaker 3: relief so that it does not interact with the infection
• 7:28
Speaker 3: or experimental vaccines. That is what White Coast Waste Research
• 7:32
Speaker 3: has found. The group also identified an ongoing five point
• 7:37
Speaker 3: two million dollar project funded by the National Institute of
• 7:41
Speaker 3: Drug Abuse in which beagles are dosed with cocaine and methamphetamines.
• 7:45
Speaker 3: The National Science Foundation and other agencies also monkeyed around
• 7:49
Speaker 3: with your tax Dours Paul wrote in the report, using
• 7:52
Speaker 3: a pun to highlight the fourteen million in federal grants
• 7:56
Speaker 3: for inhumane research involving the monkeys. He says, researchers at
• 8:01
Speaker 3: Brown University track the monkey's brain activity and eye movements
• 8:05
Speaker 3: as they play a video game called Plinko, a variation
• 8:09
Speaker 3: of the famous Price Is Right game. The monkeys have
• 8:13
Speaker 3: head posts screwed into their skulls to keep their heads
• 8:16
Speaker 3: still while they play the game. The report also sets
• 8:20
Speaker 3: the Department of Veterans, by the way, have proved a
• 8:22
Speaker 3: one million dollar project in which teenage ferrets are forced
• 8:26
Speaker 3: to binge drink alcohol for up to ninety days before
• 8:30
Speaker 3: they're killed. That sounds exciting, The researchers claim. The goal
• 8:34
Speaker 3: of the drunken Ferrets experiment, which you're paying for, is
• 8:38
Speaker 3: to pave the way quote unquote for teenage ferrets to
• 8:40
Speaker 3: be used to test chemical weapons, opioids, extreme stress and
• 8:46
Speaker 3: TBI traumatic brain injuries, or to conduct studies related to depression, stress,
• 8:51
Speaker 3: responses addiction, schizophrenia, suicide, and sensory processing. The report states.
• 9:00
Speaker 3: Justin Goodman, by the way, the senior vice president at
• 9:02
Speaker 3: Whitecoat Waste, said the group is proud that mister Paul
• 9:06
Speaker 3: continues to include research on wasteful government spending and wasteful
• 9:11
Speaker 3: government animal tests as well. Now this is just some
• 9:15
Speaker 3: of what we found out, but there's even more. I'll
• 9:18
Speaker 3: give you another example of some of the shock and
• 9:21
Speaker 3: where your money is also going. Not only do we
• 9:24
Speaker 3: spend one point five million for the AHHS spending on
• 9:27
Speaker 3: celebrity influencers to discourage the drug use, right that's one
• 9:32
Speaker 3: of your tax hours, but one point nine million we
• 9:35
Speaker 3: also spent for mobile phone intervention for childhood obesity Latino
• 9:40
Speaker 3: family specifically. That was where your tax dollars went one
• 9:44
Speaker 3: point nine million for that. We also know that there
• 9:48
Speaker 3: was two hundred and forty four thousand funding for a
• 9:51
Speaker 3: Pakistani children's climate cartoon, so we're still paying for cartoons
• 9:55
Speaker 3: to be created in places like Pakistan one point five million,
• 10:00
Speaker 3: promotion of US and media films overseas. Two point five
• 10:04
Speaker 3: million for the National Science Foundation fund to promote insect consumption.
• 10:10
Speaker 3: So we're now paying two and a half million for
• 10:12
Speaker 3: you to eat bugs, a million and a half for
• 10:15
Speaker 3: an influencer let anti drug TikTok campaign. Forty million for
• 10:20
Speaker 3: COVID vaccine promotion after the pandemic had already ended. Let
• 10:25
Speaker 3: me see that again, your tax hours. This year we
• 10:27
Speaker 3: spent forty million to promote the covid vaccine even after
• 10:31
Speaker 3: the pandemic had ended. Twenty million controversial experiment involving all
• 10:36
Speaker 3: the ferrets of dogs the monkeys I mentioned a moment ago.
• 10:40
Speaker 3: Three point three million for anti racism campus program at
• 10:44
Speaker 3: Northwestern University. Three point three million of your tax hours
• 10:48
Speaker 3: for that seven point five billion with a B allocated
• 10:54
Speaker 3: to ev infrastructure like vehicle infrastructure, but only sixty eight
• 10:59
Speaker 3: charging stations have been built, so we spent eight point
• 11:04
Speaker 3: five or excuse me, seven point five billion on sixty
• 11:07
Speaker 3: five charging stations. Again another example of the corruption in
• 11:12
Speaker 3: our government. Another twenty two point six not million, but
• 11:17
Speaker 3: billion spending on migrant benefits. So if you want to
• 11:22
Speaker 3: know what illegal immigrants are costing it the bare minimum
• 11:25
Speaker 3: twenty two point six billion, which we had to borrow
• 11:29
Speaker 3: the money. And now once we borrow the money, now
• 11:32
Speaker 3: we're spending that over trillion dollars a year on interest
• 11:36
Speaker 3: payments ALTE. Now, the report also combines government spending deem
• 11:41
Speaker 3: wasteful with category some may view as improper insufficient. Is
• 11:45
Speaker 3: what the left says about this, They say, well, you
• 11:48
Speaker 3: know there's a lot here that you don't understand, right,
• 11:51
Speaker 3: all right, Well let's go to this Another example, the
• 11:56
Speaker 3: Department of Health and Human Services approving a two point
• 11:59
Speaker 3: one million dollar four year project where New York University
• 12:02
Speaker 3: researchers planned a camp outside EDM festivals to collect saliva
• 12:09
Speaker 3: samples to test for over one thousand drugs. Quote, perhaps
• 12:15
Speaker 3: we don't need a multimillion dollar rave reconnaissance mission to
• 12:18
Speaker 3: confirm that nightclub drugs are in fact drugs, is what
• 12:24
Speaker 3: was said by Senator Paul hhs Is also giving two
• 12:30
Speaker 3: point nine million to the University of Michigan to investigate
• 12:33
Speaker 3: a mystery that had baffled absolutely no one whether toddlers
• 12:38
Speaker 3: spending all day on iPads might affect their development. Now,
• 12:44
Speaker 3: these are just some of the highlights of your tax dollars, waste,
• 12:47
Speaker 3: fraud and abuse being brought to light. The question now
• 12:51
Speaker 3: is how do we get rid of it? And what
• 12:54
Speaker 3: is the present plan to do on that issue.
