- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 0:02Speaker 2: All right, let's go starting a brand new week. Thank
- 0:04Speaker 2: you for starting with us. Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
- 0:08Speaker 1: Sean Ditty Combs has been sentenced.
- 0:10Speaker 3: In his case, he was given fifty months, so it's
- 0:12Speaker 3: a little more than four years in prison on charges
- 0:15Speaker 3: for two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Prosecutors had push.
- 0:20Speaker 3: For more than eleven years, while the defense asked for
- 0:23Speaker 3: fourteen months, which would have ultimately been time served. Since
- 0:27Speaker 3: he's been in custody since September twenty four, he is
- 0:30Speaker 3: going to receive the credit for the over a year
- 0:33Speaker 3: that he has already served. A jury acquitted him of
- 0:36Speaker 3: racketeering and sex trafficking charges in July, so this is
- 0:41Speaker 3: what it's come down to. Fifty months in prison is
- 0:43Speaker 3: what Diddy will serve. East Nashville has a new food
- 0:47Speaker 3: truck park. It's called The Pickup. It's located at twelve
- 0:50Speaker 3: to twenty five Brick Church Pike. The food truck is
- 0:54Speaker 3: the food Truck Spot. The Pickup is open Thursdays through Sundays.
- 0:59Speaker 1: It's kidd and dog.
- 1:00Speaker 3: There's a lineup of who you can expect there on
- 1:02Speaker 3: their website. So you could just go to the pickup
- 1:04Speaker 3: Nashville dot com. Go support them, Go support the food trucks,
- 1:08Speaker 3: especially because a lot of these food trucks either want
- 1:11Speaker 3: permanent spots or have had permanent spots, and you know,
- 1:14Speaker 3: sometimes things just happen and they end up with these
- 1:16Speaker 3: food trucks, which are amazing, and it makes it really
- 1:19Speaker 3: helpful for us, especially when they're all put in one
- 1:21Speaker 3: place for us to kind of, you know, check it
- 1:23Speaker 3: all out.
- 1:23Speaker 1: It's like a food court, but for food.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Yeah, like this, I like it.
- 1:27Speaker 3: And American Airlines is changing the way that they board
- 1:29Speaker 3: people with carry on baggage, so they're removing the metal
- 1:33Speaker 3: bag sizers at all of their boarding gates across the US.
- 1:36Speaker 1: So it starts today that they've gotten rid of all of.
- 1:39Speaker 3: Them, so you don't have to squeeze your suitcase in
- 1:41Speaker 3: there to make sure that it meets the requirements.
- 1:44Speaker 1: They aren't changing their policy on.
- 1:45Speaker 3: The size of your carry on bags though, so same
- 1:48Speaker 3: size bags are the ones that are allowed through. They're
- 1:51Speaker 3: getting rid of the sizers in hopes to quote enhance
- 1:54Speaker 3: the boarding process.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Here's a possible win for you though.
- 1:57Speaker 3: If you fly American Airlines often they've said to employees
- 2:01Speaker 3: that if the bag seems like it might be oversized
- 2:04Speaker 3: or if they're unsure, that they should quote error on
- 2:07Speaker 3: the side of the customer.
- 2:09Speaker 1: So those few times that you've been you know, knocked for.
- 2:12Speaker 3: The wheels being a little bit too long or the
- 2:15Speaker 3: slightly puppier.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Than it should be, you're gonna get away with that now.
- 2:18Speaker 3: That has happened to me before, and it has been
- 2:20Speaker 3: beyond frustrating because you're like, it's just half an inch,
- 2:24Speaker 3: like help me out here, and they are so rude
- 2:27Speaker 3: to you sometimes and I get it because it's their job.
- 2:30Speaker 1: So now they won't be doing that.
- 2:31Speaker 3: In American airlines, they do still have them when you
- 2:33Speaker 3: check in, though, so you may be asked you once
- 2:36Speaker 3: you get to the airport stick it in there to
- 2:38Speaker 3: see if it fits. I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are
- 2:40Speaker 3: the three things you need to know.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Thank you very much, Ricky, appreciate it. Let's play Elle
- 2:45Speaker 2: Golden coming up in a few minutes for the first
- 2:47Speaker 2: caller of the day. We have to get to see
- 2:48Speaker 2: lave at Bridgestone. That shows I think a week from tonight.
- 2:51Speaker 2: It's a week away, So if you want plans next
- 2:54Speaker 2: Monday night, don't go anywhere. Well, let's get a call
- 2:55Speaker 2: in a few minutes here on the.
- 2:56Speaker 4: River one O seven five the River, Nicky, Zach and
- 3:00Speaker 4: man O in the morning.
- 3:01Speaker 3: I know that you're waiting and you're very excited to
- 3:04Speaker 3: find out if you're the first caller of the day.
- 3:05Speaker 3: Normally we don't tell you so upfront, but Forrest, I
- 3:09Speaker 3: will let you know that you are the first collar
- 3:10Speaker 3: of the day on one of seven five the River,
- 3:12Speaker 3: and you are getting these tickets to see Leave.
- 3:14Speaker 5: Okay, sound good?
- 3:16Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 3:16Speaker 7: Rip the band aid off, tell him right away.
- 3:18Speaker 2: Congratulations, man, the show's a week from tonight at Bridgestone.
- 3:22Speaker 2: What are you doing right now? Forrest?
- 3:25Speaker 8: On the way?
- 3:27Speaker 2: What's that you're on your way?
- 3:30Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 3:31Speaker 1: Sorry, I had a crying Oh wait, children talk little
- 3:37Speaker 1: Oh dude?
- 3:38Speaker 7: Is everything okay?
- 3:39Speaker 3: Uh?
- 3:40Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 3:40Speaker 7: Our daughter.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Having some issues with their appendic She's three years old
- 3:48Speaker 1: and I don't know.
- 3:50Speaker 2: Hopefully everything is okay.
- 3:51Speaker 7: Let's make it sound really just.
- 3:53Speaker 2: I hopefully it don't works out it will.
- 3:55Speaker 9: For Ust, I know it's really terrifying and scary, but
- 3:58Speaker 9: that you are at the best place on the planet
- 3:59Speaker 9: for your child.
- 4:02Speaker 3: Is a great pledge.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Yeah, Children's Hospital.
- 4:04Speaker 3: We work a lot with Vandy Children's and we get
- 4:07Speaker 3: to see firsthand just the amazing work that they do
- 4:09Speaker 3: and how much they care about every single kid that
- 4:12Speaker 3: walks in through that door. So you were going to
- 4:14Speaker 3: the right place. You were making the right decisions for
- 4:16Speaker 3: your kid. We're gonna send you so much love and
- 4:19Speaker 3: positive energy right now because we can hear it in
- 4:21Speaker 3: your voice that you're you know, you're nervous and you're
- 4:24Speaker 3: trying to say positive.
- 4:26Speaker 2: Yeah, well positivity man like Ricky and Zach said, yeah,
- 4:29Speaker 2: that's uh, just hanging on to that. Thank you for
- 4:32Speaker 2: calling us on your way in. I'm happy you had
- 4:34Speaker 2: somebody to talk to you here, and we're giving you
- 4:35Speaker 2: these lay Bay tickets. So best of luck today, buddy.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Thank you so much.
- 4:40Speaker 3: Absolutely, and Forrest, we want to hear from you later on,
- 4:42Speaker 3: you know what I mean, give us an update on everything.
- 4:45Speaker 1: We want to know that you guys are.
- 4:46Speaker 7: Okay, Okay, that sounds good.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Thank you, all right, I'm gonna be you on hold
- 4:50Speaker 1: for just one second, okay.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Forrest, Okay, I feel like we should call him at
- 4:53Speaker 2: the end of the week or so. I don't want
- 4:54Speaker 2: to overstep, but it's gonna be hard to not have
- 4:57Speaker 2: an update, so we hope, hopefully do hear from him soon.
- 5:00Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, I I don't even know what to
- 5:03Speaker 3: say about something like that. I can only imagine what
- 5:05Speaker 3: he's going through and how nervous he is. But we
- 5:08Speaker 3: just appreciate everybody, you know, coming to us and feeling
- 5:10Speaker 3: so comfortable to come talk to us about things like
- 5:13Speaker 3: this or, like we said, sending him so many positive
- 5:16Speaker 3: vibes and sending his whole family lots of love right now,
- 5:18Speaker 3: all of.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Our love to forest. More of these take its same
- 5:20Speaker 2: time tomorrow.
- 5:23Speaker 8: Who is the one oh seven five the River Secret Sabrina?
- 5:27Speaker 1: Everyone is losing their minds over this.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:31Speaker 3: I was getting personal dms over the weekend asking me
- 5:35Speaker 3: for hints on who the one of seven five the
- 5:37Speaker 3: River's Secret Sabrina was. We have no idea who it is, though.
- 5:41Speaker 3: Everyone's coming to us and they're like, give us a
- 5:43Speaker 3: little hint, help us out.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Are we on the right track? I have no clue.
- 5:47Speaker 1: We're just as confused as you are.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Yeah, and we made it through the first week. Nobody
- 5:51Speaker 2: has successfully correctly identified the secret Sabrina. Your job if
- 5:55Speaker 2: this is new to you, if you didn't hear it
- 5:56Speaker 2: last week. We're giving these clues four times a day.
- 5:58Speaker 2: You have to compile the clues, try to figure out
- 6:01Speaker 2: who is the one of seven five the River's Secret Sabrina,
- 6:03Speaker 2: and then go around asking people if they are you? Say,
- 6:06Speaker 2: are you the one of seven five the River's Secret?
- 6:08Speaker 2: Whoever does that first gets tickets to see Sabrina Carpenter
- 6:10Speaker 2: in Nashville and a trip to New York to see
- 6:11Speaker 2: her there.
- 6:14Speaker 1: This has been a wild ride so far.
- 6:15Speaker 7: Guess it's made me absolutely insane.
- 6:18Speaker 3: Zach get some very interesting theories, yeap, none of which
- 6:22Speaker 3: have seemed to come true just yet. So I am
- 6:24Speaker 3: definitely ready for the next clue.
- 6:26Speaker 2: Here we go, first clue of a brand new week.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Here we go.
- 6:29Speaker 6: I'm still on the run, though the weakest meal. I'm
- 6:32Speaker 6: off to work just like you, but you probably won't
- 6:35Speaker 6: touch me quite that way. It's not in an office
- 6:38Speaker 6: where I spend my day.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Okay, this is a good clue.
- 6:41Speaker 7: Not in an office.
- 6:43Speaker 9: And also they said still on the run, I just
- 6:46Speaker 9: feel like, what does that mean?
- 6:48Speaker 2: I think it just means nobody's found them yet. Maybe
- 6:51Speaker 2: you can read more into it, I don't know.
- 6:54Speaker 1: I like that we now know that they're not in
- 6:56Speaker 1: an office.
- 6:56Speaker 7: We got a track star, a track star. Yeah, they're
- 7:00Speaker 7: still on the run.
- 7:01Speaker 2: If you've see anybody running, you ask him if they're
- 7:03Speaker 2: the one of seven five the River secret. Sobrina, I
- 7:05Speaker 2: don't know.
- 7:05Speaker 3: If that's the answer you're gonna get necessarily, but I
- 7:09Speaker 3: like that we now know that they don't work in
- 7:10Speaker 3: an office.
- 7:12Speaker 1: I'm assuming they work at.
- 7:13Speaker 3: Home, which wouldn't be that weird because a lot of
- 7:15Speaker 3: people work from home now, or at least have half
- 7:18Speaker 3: in office half at home.
- 7:20Speaker 7: Yeah, how are you supposed to find them? Then?
- 7:22Speaker 9: If they work from home, just go knock on random
- 7:24Speaker 9: people's doors. That seems illegal.
- 7:26Speaker 3: Yeah, you should definitely not do that. Please do not
- 7:28Speaker 3: knock on random people's doors.
- 7:29Speaker 2: But also we had been thinking something along the lines
- 7:32Speaker 2: of the Predators. We were thinking hockey ice. There's a
- 7:35Speaker 2: lot of like ice clues and stuff, So then that
- 7:37Speaker 2: wouldn't be an office if you're a hockey player.
- 7:40Speaker 3: If you follow us on one of seven five of
- 7:42Speaker 3: the River on Instagram, our friend Wayne Dy on the
- 7:45Speaker 3: Big ninety eight, he actually had to put a public
- 7:47Speaker 3: post out to say I am not the one of
- 7:50Speaker 3: seven five the River Secret Sabrina because people were going up.
- 7:53Speaker 1: To him, oh wow at the.
- 7:54Speaker 3: Preds, asking if he's so funny the Secret Sabrina and
- 7:57Speaker 3: he was like, I'm not, which like we would to
- 8:00Speaker 3: know if he was.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Or is in So he has now said he is
- 8:02Speaker 1: not that person.
- 8:05Speaker 3: Yeah, so I'm thinking the press thing may not be
- 8:07Speaker 3: a thing anymore. They may have been trying to know
- 8:11Speaker 3: lure us over that way. In reality it's the other way.
- 8:14Speaker 9: Let's go back to maybe they're a bartender, because like
- 8:17Speaker 9: one of the very first clues was that they don't
- 8:19Speaker 9: have like a morning routine, that they're night owls, that
- 8:21Speaker 9: they're out on the town a lot. Sound like maybe
- 8:23Speaker 9: they're a bartender on Broadway. That's not an office.
- 8:26Speaker 3: I have no idea at this point, but I do
- 8:29Speaker 3: feel like we're getting somewhere. We do have another clue
- 8:30Speaker 3: at nine point fifty this morning, we're really trying to
- 8:33Speaker 3: piece these all together. I think the three of us
- 8:35Speaker 3: have been losing our minds.
- 8:38Speaker 2: I don't think we're very good at putting these clues.
- 8:41Speaker 9: Kevin, no, you said stone cold Steve Austin, Okay, not
- 8:45Speaker 9: a great guess.
- 8:45Speaker 2: I'm still not ruining him up. Three things you need
- 8:49Speaker 2: to know, all right, a few minutes past seven o'clock
- 8:51Speaker 2: on this Monday morning, Ricky Sanchez has those three things
- 8:54Speaker 2: for us.
- 8:55Speaker 3: An orange door popped up in Nashville yesterday as part
- 8:58Speaker 3: of a Taylor Swift promotion of Google Search on Saturday let.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Fans know that something was coming.
- 9:03Speaker 3: So when you searched the Life of a Showgirl, there
- 9:05Speaker 3: was a pop up that said twelve cities, twelve doors,
- 9:09Speaker 3: one video to unlock.
- 9:10Speaker 1: So there were.
- 9:10Speaker 3: Twelve cities across the world with a word scramble you
- 9:14Speaker 3: had to figure out which one was which one of
- 9:16Speaker 3: which spelled out Nashville. And then yesterday an orange shores
- 9:19Speaker 3: showed up at Grimey's with a QR code and it
- 9:22Speaker 3: led you to a YouTube video. Each city across the
- 9:25Speaker 3: world had one. The QR code sent to people to
- 9:29Speaker 3: the video premiere of her song The fhato Ophelia, which
- 9:31Speaker 3: came out yesterday. It already has eight million views on YouTube.
- 9:35Speaker 3: It's been up for twelve hours, which is not that surprising.
- 9:39Speaker 3: But all of this obviously as part of her rollout
- 9:41Speaker 3: for the Life of a Showgirl, her album that came
- 9:44Speaker 3: out on Friday. She's got a bunch of late night
- 9:47Speaker 3: shows coming up this week, so we're gonna hear more
- 9:49Speaker 3: from Taylor and more of what's going on with her
- 9:51Speaker 3: very soon. Sabrina Carpenter performed at Austin City Limits is
- 9:55Speaker 3: Shanaia Twain over the weekend. She was the headliner Saturday night,
- 10:00Speaker 3: and she surprised the crowd by bringing out Shanaiah for
- 10:03Speaker 3: that Don't.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Impress me much. Here's a clip of them singing.
- 10:05Speaker 10: Together that don't impress me much.
- 10:18Speaker 1: So good, so good. I'm so happy for Sabrina.
- 10:21Speaker 3: I don't think people realize how long she's been doing
- 10:23Speaker 3: this before getting to the point of like headlining these
- 10:26Speaker 3: massive festivals and doing what she's doing. But I'm just
- 10:29Speaker 3: so proud of her.
- 10:30Speaker 1: I'm so proud of her. This is amazing to see.
- 10:32Speaker 3: And we've got a new food collab. This time it's
- 10:35Speaker 3: for bacon. Smithfield teamed up with Mike's Hot Honey for
- 10:39Speaker 3: the first ever Hot Honey flavored bacon. Smithfield claims that
- 10:43Speaker 3: this combination is the best of tradition and trend on
- 10:47Speaker 3: one plate. It's rolling out in grocery stores nationwide throughout October,
- 10:51Speaker 3: so you can find it very soon at your local
- 10:53Speaker 3: grocery store. This is the one time that I feel
- 10:57Speaker 3: like a food collab makes sense. Bacon and hot honey, Sure,
- 11:00Speaker 3: genius idea. Finally, there's so many crazy, insane thought processes
- 11:04Speaker 3: that these people do.
- 11:05Speaker 1: This one makes sense.
- 11:06Speaker 2: The found one that works.
- 11:07Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things
- 11:10Speaker 3: you need to know.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Thank you so much, Ricky. Music from Shaboozi Mens Boon
- 11:14Speaker 2: Lord All on the way.
- 11:15Speaker 8: Uh.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Right now we're gonna play Miles Smith and right after
- 11:18Speaker 2: this song, it's time for Zach's Facts on the River.
- 11:21Speaker 4: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on the River.
- 11:26Speaker 2: I'm very excited for this Monday morning fact. It's one
- 11:28Speaker 2: O seven five the River. Zach ran this one by
- 11:30Speaker 2: me in advance, and I think it's such a good fact.
- 11:33Speaker 9: Okay, So apparently if you go number one in the
- 11:36Speaker 9: shower instead of using the toilet just once a day,
- 11:39Speaker 9: it can save up the twenty five hundred liters of
- 11:41Speaker 9: water per year per person. That is so much water
- 11:45Speaker 9: that you're saving.
- 11:46Speaker 3: Zach is staring at me as if I should be
- 11:49Speaker 3: mind blown by this fact.
- 11:50Speaker 2: That's just so much water, so good for the planet.
- 11:53Speaker 2: I know people have their thoughts on that. We can
- 11:56Speaker 2: save that conversation for another time. But that's it's good
- 11:58Speaker 2: for the You're saving a lot of water.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Thank god.
- 12:00Speaker 2: There's your fact of the day.
- 12:02Speaker 7: Go save the planet today, babes.
- 12:03Speaker 8: Thanks Zach, Ricky, Zach and manow in the morning.
- 12:09Speaker 1: This is about to blow your mind.
- 12:12Speaker 3: Weekly allowance now averages at thirty seven dollars per child
- 12:18Speaker 3: a week.
- 12:19Speaker 1: It's one o seven five the.
- 12:20Speaker 3: River a week, thirty seven dollars per child. So I
- 12:24Speaker 3: want to know how much your allowance was, because I
- 12:27Speaker 3: know that mine was out thirty.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Seven No wow, six one five seven, three seven nine
- 12:32Speaker 2: one oh seven. And I'm guessing, Ricky, this is like
- 12:34Speaker 2: a national average something just all the kids out there.
- 12:37Speaker 2: This is crazy. What was your allowance when you were
- 12:40Speaker 2: coming up? Six one five, seven, three seven nine one
- 12:42Speaker 2: oh seven.
- 12:43Speaker 4: That's our question, Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning
- 12:46Speaker 4: on one oh seven five the.
- 12:47Speaker 2: River checond Go, Ricky shared this new stat Apparently the
- 12:51Speaker 2: weekly allowance is thirty seven dollars. Man, that's like the
- 12:54Speaker 2: national average, thirty seven dollars. That is the average allowance.
- 12:57Speaker 2: So we want to know what was your allowance when
- 12:59Speaker 2: you were grown up. We have Emma in Fairview on
- 13:01Speaker 2: the line. Good morning, Emma, good morning.
- 13:04Speaker 5: Myn was one dollar every year.
- 13:07Speaker 1: I am so well. I'm a loving right now.
- 13:10Speaker 10: So I get a dollars every week.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Wow, that sounds reasonable.
- 13:14Speaker 7: Yeah, I feel like that's fair every week.
- 13:17Speaker 2: So like when you're fifty, you're going to be rolling
- 13:19Speaker 2: in it.
- 13:22Speaker 3: Hopefully you never know, Mom, you never know at this point,
- 13:28Speaker 3: am I have to know?
- 13:29Speaker 9: Are you one of those people that you spend the
- 13:31Speaker 9: eleven dollars every week? Or do you save up for
- 13:33Speaker 9: something that you want to buy.
- 13:36Speaker 4: To buy?
- 13:36Speaker 9: Okay, that's not that you want to buy next bro,
- 13:42Speaker 9: You're gonna be saving.
- 13:43Speaker 10: For a while.
- 13:44Speaker 4: Zach.
- 13:45Speaker 3: You asked her what you are the worst? Emma, you're
- 13:48Speaker 3: doing the right thing. You're doing a great job. Thank
- 13:51Speaker 3: you for calling in this morning. We hope you and
- 13:53Speaker 3: mom have a great day.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Thank you so much.
- 13:56Speaker 7: My friends.
- 13:57Speaker 2: As a parent here, I really like this eight money situation,
- 14:01Speaker 2: like that when they're eleven they get eleven dollars, twelve twelve,
- 14:04Speaker 2: you know you give it them.
- 14:04Speaker 7: What are your kids getting out.
- 14:06Speaker 2: They get if they can do all of their like uh,
- 14:09Speaker 2: I don't want to say chores, but keep their room clean,
- 14:11Speaker 2: pick their clothes up, hang their towel off after the show.
- 14:14Speaker 2: If they can do like the whole checklates of stuff,
- 14:16Speaker 2: they'll get five dollars per week. Okay, that money drops down,
- 14:19Speaker 2: that gets smaller if they don't do those things. Did
- 14:22Speaker 2: they skip days? You know?
- 14:23Speaker 1: I like that idea. Yeah, Zach, Did you have an allowance?
- 14:27Speaker 3: No?
- 14:28Speaker 7: My hom just bought me whatever I wanted. This is
- 14:30Speaker 7: why I'm spoil off Brath. This takes so much, so
- 14:35Speaker 7: why I'm a spoiled Brath.
- 14:36Speaker 2: Kevin, what was.
- 14:37Speaker 1: Your allowance as the old guy?
- 14:39Speaker 2: I had a paper route and that was my form
- 14:41Speaker 2: of making money. I don't think I actually had an allowance.
- 14:44Speaker 7: Okay, did you have one, Ricky?
- 14:45Speaker 3: I had a very unique situation because my parents are divorced.
- 14:49Speaker 3: So at one house I got whatever I wanted, and
- 14:52Speaker 3: then at the other house I had to work for
- 14:53Speaker 3: it and have an allowance. And when I did have
- 14:56Speaker 3: the allowance, it ranged from like a dollar to two
- 14:59Speaker 3: dollars depending on what got done.
- 15:01Speaker 9: I just yes, like the thought of the making thirty
- 15:04Speaker 9: seven dollars a week as a child, that is one
- 15:06Speaker 9: hundred and forty eight dollars a month.
- 15:09Speaker 7: That this kid is getting what are they going to
- 15:10Speaker 7: spend it on?
- 15:11Speaker 9: Like, at this point you got to buy your own groceries.
- 15:14Speaker 7: That is so much money.
- 15:16Speaker 2: Seven three seven nine, one oh seven. If you want
- 15:18Speaker 2: to join the allowance conversation, what was yours when.
- 15:20Speaker 6: You were growing up?
- 15:21Speaker 8: One O seven five of the River, Ricky, Zach, and
- 15:24Speaker 8: Mano in the morning.
- 15:24Speaker 3: Hello, Good morning, Ashley and Nashville.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Welcome to one of seven five the River.
- 15:28Speaker 5: Good morning.
- 15:30Speaker 3: Okay, first off, I know that this question is kind
- 15:32Speaker 3: of rude, but Ashley, how old are you?
- 15:35Speaker 6: So?
- 15:35Speaker 5: I'm I'm older than Kevin even I'm forty two.
- 15:40Speaker 3: Forty two?
- 15:41Speaker 1: Okay, how much was your allowance when you were younger?
- 15:44Speaker 5: I didn't get an allowance. My husband did that. I
- 15:47Speaker 5: did not a group on a farm. So I just
- 15:49Speaker 5: so all the work and for nothing for food and
- 15:52Speaker 5: board for food.
- 15:54Speaker 9: Honestly, my mom like if we were bad, My mom
- 15:57Speaker 9: used to say that all the time of like, no,
- 15:59Speaker 9: I pay for everything, like the roof over your head
- 16:02Speaker 9: and the food that you eat.
- 16:03Speaker 7: No, you can't get that.
- 16:05Speaker 2: You also, Zach, you also told us that your mom
- 16:06Speaker 2: buy you anything you wanted if.
- 16:09Speaker 7: I was good. Yeah, which didn't happen very often.
- 16:14Speaker 3: Actually, I don't think that you have a very like
- 16:17Speaker 3: different situation than a lot of people. Because we did
- 16:19Speaker 3: also talk to our friend Sandra before who she was like,
- 16:22Speaker 3: I grew up in a Puerto Rican household.
- 16:23Speaker 1: They didn't give me any money. There was no like
- 16:25Speaker 1: chores for allowance. It was like you just did those
- 16:28Speaker 1: things because.
- 16:29Speaker 3: You needed to tidy up after yourself and like, you know,
- 16:31Speaker 3: make sure that you were contributing.
- 16:33Speaker 1: To the household.
- 16:33Speaker 3: But we do.
- 16:34Speaker 5: We do give our children an allowance. And my kids
- 16:37Speaker 5: audibly gassed. When you guys said thirty seven dollars a week, well,
- 16:41Speaker 5: it's crazy.
- 16:41Speaker 2: That that's the average. So some people out there are
- 16:45Speaker 2: making five dollars a week. What are the others making
- 16:47Speaker 2: on the high end of that? That's right, nuts.
- 16:49Speaker 5: Our kids make six dollars a week. But we allow
- 16:52Speaker 5: them if they want to earn more money, we will say,
- 16:54Speaker 5: you can vacuum out the car for this much money.
- 16:57Speaker 3: If you want to smart incentives for more money.
- 16:59Speaker 1: That's of like work and that's how it works with overtime. Also,
- 17:02Speaker 1: they're taking the life lessons there.
- 17:04Speaker 7: Kids like gas spit that amount.
- 17:06Speaker 9: I feel like now they have negotiation power they can
- 17:08Speaker 9: be like, no, mom, we need more like everybody else
- 17:11Speaker 9: is getting more inflation.
- 17:12Speaker 2: Bro, sorry that we said that. Yeah, no, sorry that
- 17:15Speaker 2: we shared any of that. Hey, Ashley, thank you for calling.
- 17:18Speaker 2: I do want to say one thing, though, I don't
- 17:20Speaker 2: like that you instituted this new Are you younger older
- 17:23Speaker 2: than Kevin?
- 17:24Speaker 6: Thing?
- 17:24Speaker 2: Like, that's not That's not my.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Favorite part in this entire conversation.
- 17:28Speaker 5: You say all the time how old you are, and
- 17:30Speaker 5: I'm like, I wonder if I'm older than.
- 17:34Speaker 1: He's pretty old.
- 17:35Speaker 9: It's okay, we appreciate you calling that means you just
- 17:37Speaker 9: called Ashley old.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Ashley's got a young soul.
- 17:40Speaker 3: I can sense it, I can feel it.
- 17:45Speaker 2: I don't like this. Jonahs Brothers tickets, you can win
- 17:48Speaker 2: those next. We've got them all week with the Game
- 17:49Speaker 2: of the Day.
- 17:50Speaker 4: Next, Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning.
- 17:56Speaker 3: You're about to get into Kevin Mano's Game of the
- 17:58Speaker 3: Day on one O seven five the River. It's calling
- 18:00Speaker 3: it two thousand and five trivia because it's for tickets
- 18:03Speaker 3: to see the Jonas Brothers. I bridged down Arena on
- 18:05Speaker 3: October fourteenth, and what did they start in two thousand
- 18:08Speaker 3: and five?
- 18:08Speaker 1: Is that.
- 18:09Speaker 2: Well, yeah, they're celebrating twenty years this year. This is
- 18:12Speaker 2: their big twenty year anniversary tour. So questions all about
- 18:16Speaker 2: the year that they start at two thousand and five.
- 18:18Speaker 2: I need two out of three of them. If you
- 18:19Speaker 2: can do that, You're going to see the Jonas Brothers
- 18:21Speaker 2: next Tuesday night when they're in Nashville. Let's play the
- 18:24Speaker 2: game six one five, seven, three seven nine, one oh seven.
- 18:28Speaker 2: It is game time, baby.
- 18:29Speaker 4: We're playing next down the River Ricky, Zach and Meno
- 18:32Speaker 4: in the morning on one o seven the River.
- 18:35Speaker 1: It's one oh seven five.
- 18:36Speaker 3: The River, and it's time to play Kevin Manno's Game
- 18:39Speaker 3: of the Day presented by Genesis Diamonds. We have Cayenne
- 18:42Speaker 3: and Murphysboro on the line.
- 18:44Speaker 1: She's playing for these Jonas Brothers tickets.
- 18:46Speaker 5: Good morning.
- 18:47Speaker 2: How was your weekend?
- 18:48Speaker 3: It was great?
- 18:49Speaker 7: What was the highlight?
- 18:51Speaker 4: I took my kids out for the weekend.
- 18:53Speaker 5: We spent a lot of time together.
- 18:55Speaker 7: Great.
- 18:55Speaker 2: We went to Borough Bye fun.
- 18:57Speaker 9: I didn't know what was happening last weekend, so I'm
- 18:59Speaker 9: sad that I missed it.
- 19:01Speaker 1: Oh yeah, it was a lot of fun.
- 19:02Speaker 5: And that's tons of informational stuff too.
- 19:04Speaker 3: I love that okay, Kyanne? Are you ready to play
- 19:07Speaker 3: the game?
- 19:07Speaker 2: Yes?
- 19:08Speaker 10: Awesome.
- 19:09Speaker 2: You're the first one in the door this week for
- 19:10Speaker 2: these Jonas Brothers tickets. We're we're gonna be doing two
- 19:13Speaker 2: thousand and five trivia all week long because the Joe bros.
- 19:16Speaker 2: Are out there celebrating twenty years as a band. They
- 19:18Speaker 2: got started in two thousand and five. So if you
- 19:20Speaker 2: can get two out of three of these questions right,
- 19:21Speaker 2: the tickets are years. Are you ready? Yes? All right, Kyanne?
- 19:25Speaker 2: Your game starts right now. What TV Show, which premiered
- 19:31Speaker 2: in two thousand and five, features characters like Stanley Hudson,
- 19:35Speaker 2: Kelly Kapor, and Toby Flanderson. Oh goodness, those are all
- 19:44Speaker 2: like secondary characters. They're not the main characters, but they
- 19:46Speaker 2: were there.
- 19:50Speaker 3: Oh, Jona, I think we got to skip this one.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Well, yeah, it was the office. Do we give her
- 20:01Speaker 2: the point?
- 20:01Speaker 3: That was?
- 20:02Speaker 1: I mean, you know what, we'll give it morning. It
- 20:05Speaker 1: took you a little longer to get there.
- 20:07Speaker 3: But it was right as I said, I think we
- 20:08Speaker 3: got to skip it, so we'll give you the point.
- 20:10Speaker 7: Okay, thank you, We're on the board.
- 20:12Speaker 2: You got one. This next question you have to answer
- 20:14Speaker 2: in record time. Who was the President of the United
- 20:18Speaker 2: States in two thousand and five. Here's a hint. His
- 20:20Speaker 2: middle initial is a prominent part of his name.
- 20:25Speaker 8: George.
- 20:27Speaker 7: Yeah, I had too.
- 20:29Speaker 2: That you're going to see the Jonas brothers.
- 20:34Speaker 1: Thank you for what you are so well.
- 20:36Speaker 3: Good congratulations. Hang on the line so we can get
- 20:38Speaker 3: your info. Okay, all right, thank you.
- 20:41Speaker 2: I mean, she did take a long time with that
- 20:42Speaker 2: first question, but hey, but.
- 20:44Speaker 7: She nailed the second one, so I think she caught
- 20:46Speaker 7: up on some seconds.
- 20:47Speaker 2: There three things you need to Okay, let's go. Just
- 20:51Speaker 2: after eight o'clock on this Monday morning, Ricky Sanchez hands
- 20:53Speaker 2: your three things.
- 20:54Speaker 3: The Tennessee Titans won their first game of the season
- 20:57Speaker 3: over the weekend.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Congrats them.
- 21:00Speaker 3: Titans be the Cardinals yesterday twenty two to twenty one
- 21:02Speaker 3: and a fourth quarter comeback. Cam Ward through for a
- 21:06Speaker 3: career high two hundred and sixty five yards and completed
- 21:08Speaker 3: thirteen of eighteen passes. So congrats to them. That puts
- 21:13Speaker 3: their record at one and four for the season so far.
- 21:15Speaker 3: We needed that win, though, so really.
- 21:18Speaker 1: Proud and pumped. Wow, proud and pumped at once is
- 21:21Speaker 1: not easy to say.
- 21:23Speaker 3: Really proud and pumped for the Titans and their fans.
- 21:27Speaker 3: Heart's Restaurant is going to expand to a third location.
- 21:31Speaker 3: The Australian inspired cafe currently has locations in East Nashville
- 21:34Speaker 3: and twelve South. They are so good. If you have
- 21:36Speaker 3: not checked them out yet, highly recommend. Now they have
- 21:40Speaker 3: plans to expand to Hart Street in the former present.
- 21:43Speaker 1: Tent space that's in Chestnut Hill.
- 21:45Speaker 3: Present Tense is going to relocate to Houston Street, so
- 21:49Speaker 3: all good stuff. Really excited for them Now you'll have
- 21:52Speaker 3: a third location to check them out at. Like I said,
- 21:54Speaker 3: if you haven't yet, go and K Pop Demon Hunters.
- 21:58Speaker 3: There is a new trend that's leading to a spike
- 22:00Speaker 3: in severe burns, especially for kids.
- 22:03Speaker 1: It's the hot ramen trend.
- 22:05Speaker 3: It's viral, it's happening on TikTok where it's inspired by
- 22:09Speaker 3: the K Pop Demon Hunters for kids to like microwave
- 22:12Speaker 3: and eat scolding hot instant noodles. So it's leading to
- 22:15Speaker 3: spills and burns, sometimes permanent scars. Burns specialists say that
- 22:19Speaker 3: they're seeing multiple cases each week, with younger kids especially
- 22:24Speaker 3: vulnerable because their skin burns faster.
- 22:26Speaker 1: So this is me telling you do not try this trend.
- 22:30Speaker 3: It's not worth hurting yourself for a few views on TikTok.
- 22:33Speaker 3: If you really want to try the trend, though, do
- 22:35Speaker 3: it while they're normal temperature. Nobody's gonna know if they're
- 22:37Speaker 3: actually scolding hot. Pretend use your acting skills. A lot
- 22:40Speaker 3: of people pretend all the time. It's okay to do
- 22:43Speaker 3: it that way. If you really want to be in
- 22:44Speaker 3: on this trend, do not hurt yourself for something so silly.
- 22:47Speaker 1: Okay. I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things
- 22:50Speaker 1: you need.
- 22:50Speaker 4: To know for Ricky Zach and Meno in the Morning
- 22:53Speaker 4: on one oh seven five the River.
- 22:54Speaker 3: I'm both scared and excited about this. This is the
- 22:57Speaker 3: first time we're doing this on one O seven to
- 22:59Speaker 3: five the River. It is the Ricky Zach and Manno
- 23:01Speaker 3: in the Morning Show and Tell. Each of us has
- 23:04Speaker 3: brought in something from our house to show and tell.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Each other about.
- 23:09Speaker 3: We have decided off air that we are going to
- 23:12Speaker 3: explain the other person's item. So we're gonna start with Kevin.
- 23:15Speaker 3: He's gonna hold up his item, we are going to
- 23:18Speaker 3: describe what it is, and then he'll give us a
- 23:19Speaker 3: little backstory on why he brought it.
- 23:21Speaker 2: And the one rule that I am laying down here
- 23:23Speaker 2: inspired by my kids Show and Tell at school. You
- 23:25Speaker 2: have to be nice. We're gonna be nice. There is
- 23:28Speaker 2: a teacher present. We're not We're not ripping into each
- 23:31Speaker 2: other here.
- 23:31Speaker 7: Okay, how about we try our best.
- 23:33Speaker 2: We try our best? All right, That's that's good enough, Zach.
- 23:35Speaker 2: Here we go. I'm going first my Show and Tell.
- 23:37Speaker 2: Itam one of my most prized.
- 23:39Speaker 1: Possessions, one of your most prized possessions.
- 23:41Speaker 3: It's a Willy walk It's a tiny little little Willy Wonka,
- 23:44Speaker 3: a little.
- 23:46Speaker 2: Grandpa Grandpa Joe.
- 23:47Speaker 7: It's like a statue figure of Grandpa Joe.
- 23:50Speaker 1: From Fen Yes, little action figure.
- 23:54Speaker 3: Still by the way, I feel like, wait, I remember
- 23:58Speaker 3: I think when you got this was it a gift?
- 24:00Speaker 2: My brother and I we trade this back and forth
- 24:02Speaker 2: like half the year. This Grandpa Joe action figures with
- 24:04Speaker 2: me half the year. It's with him. We love Willy Wonka,
- 24:08Speaker 2: but we hate Grandpa Joe. He's a real dirt bag.
- 24:10Speaker 2: He just spends his life in bed until he.
- 24:12Speaker 1: Has given in his pajamas.
- 24:15Speaker 2: His pajamas are soiled too, They're all dirty. There's a
- 24:17Speaker 2: tiny little golden ticket came. Where do you keep this
- 24:20Speaker 2: in your house, Kevin, in my closet. I kind of
- 24:22Speaker 2: keep all of my personal items in my class.
- 24:24Speaker 3: Well, you have kids, you don't want them to get
- 24:26Speaker 3: into exactly.
- 24:27Speaker 2: So I love this item. Even though I hate Grandpa Joe.
- 24:31Speaker 2: This means a lot to me and I wanted to share.
- 24:32Speaker 1: With you guys, tiny little Grandpa Joe figurine.
- 24:35Speaker 3: Okay, it's in the box still, yeah, yeah, yeah, all right,
- 24:38Speaker 3: I'm going to go next because Jackie scared me by
- 24:41Speaker 3: saying that his might get him fired, So that'll be
- 24:43Speaker 3: the last one we do.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Mine is a collection of things. Okay, speaking of.
- 24:47Speaker 3: Prize possessions, all right, ducks, I have one, two, three,
- 24:53Speaker 3: five rubber.
- 24:54Speaker 1: Duckies with me.
- 24:55Speaker 3: Why because they are all different types of rubber ducks.
- 25:00Speaker 3: You guys can describe them, actually you're supposed to.
- 25:02Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah. One is blue eagle.
- 25:07Speaker 3: Yeah, looks like there's another one that has a tattoo
- 25:11Speaker 3: that says quack on it in like the form is
- 25:13Speaker 3: like a law.
- 25:14Speaker 1: And then I also have a teeny tiny little one
- 25:16Speaker 1: which is my.
- 25:16Speaker 3: Little guy for the little well baby duck that has
- 25:19Speaker 3: very beautiful eyelashes.
- 25:20Speaker 2: So where did all these come from? And why are
- 25:22Speaker 2: they special to you?
- 25:23Speaker 3: They have come from different places downtown and around Nashville
- 25:27Speaker 3: that have the little rubber.
- 25:28Speaker 1: Ducky claw machine machines.
- 25:30Speaker 3: Yes, and I if there is a rubber Ducky claw machine,
- 25:33Speaker 3: you can find me at it because I love those
- 25:36Speaker 3: things so much and it kind of became this thing
- 25:38Speaker 3: between my friends and I, so we all always play
- 25:41Speaker 3: them whenever we go out downtown. So I have a
- 25:44Speaker 3: bunch of rubber duckies from different days and different.
- 25:47Speaker 7: Time your house, Ricky.
- 25:49Speaker 3: I keep them in my bedroom on my TV stand
- 25:52Speaker 3: next to my TV so I can see all my
- 25:53Speaker 3: rubber duckies. Okay, okay, and I'm adding to the collection
- 25:57Speaker 3: every time.
- 25:58Speaker 2: Jack, You've used this voice like okay for both of us.
- 26:01Speaker 2: And now we can't wait to see what you brought.
- 26:02Speaker 3: Yeah, let's see yours, big dog. I'm afraid, okay.
- 26:09Speaker 1: I'm obsessed with this.
- 26:10Speaker 3: It's a tiny little figurine of a ghost. It's doing
- 26:14Speaker 3: a very specific gesture.
- 26:17Speaker 2: Yeah gesture.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Yeah, that is not a hand gesture.
- 26:20Speaker 3: That's something that we're gonna talk about because it's not appropriate.
- 26:23Speaker 7: I told you I was gonna get fired.
- 26:25Speaker 1: I love it.
- 26:25Speaker 9: But here's the thing is so you know that Halloween
- 26:27Speaker 9: is like probably my favorite like holiday. This is the
- 26:31Speaker 9: one Halloween decoration that I own that my boyfriend bought
- 26:34Speaker 9: and it sits on our front porch and I was
- 26:35Speaker 9: like this, I have to bring Wait.
- 26:37Speaker 2: It sits on your front porch. Yeah, it's like an
- 26:40Speaker 2: inch tall.
- 26:41Speaker 9: We have like a table on the front porch with
- 26:43Speaker 9: like flowers, and it sits next to the flowers.
- 26:45Speaker 7: So whenever people walk up, this is what they see.
- 26:48Speaker 1: I love it. I think it needs a name. Does
- 26:50Speaker 1: it have a name?
- 26:51Speaker 4: No?
- 26:51Speaker 7: I think you should name it.
- 26:52Speaker 1: I like Sherman.
- 26:55Speaker 2: Okay, Sherman the ghost done. See if you want to
- 26:59Speaker 2: see all these items that we bro we are posting
- 27:00Speaker 2: this video on Instagram at one O seven five the
- 27:03Speaker 2: Rivers where you can find it and see all of
- 27:05Speaker 2: our prize possessions that we brought in. And if you're
- 27:07Speaker 2: watching on Instagram right now, go ahead and smash that follow.
- 27:10Speaker 7: But that's gonna get us fired.
- 27:13Speaker 8: Before my Figureine, Ricky, Zach and menow in the morning.
- 27:21Speaker 2: It is time, my friends, for the daily double tap.
- 27:24Speaker 2: Every day about this time, we play some audio from
- 27:27Speaker 2: a video that one of us foundal and this is
- 27:28Speaker 2: a local one. Here found by Ricky.
- 27:30Speaker 3: Yeah, it says point of view, you go to Belmont,
- 27:33Speaker 3: And I know that Kevin's a little confused by this,
- 27:36Speaker 3: but I think most of you won't be once you
- 27:38Speaker 3: actually hear what happens. But this is viewed from somebody
- 27:42Speaker 3: who goes to Belmont.
- 27:43Speaker 2: Okay, here we go the day.
- 27:44Speaker 11: We very specific to Belmont.
- 28:27Speaker 2: Great song, they sound great, but like I didn't realize
- 28:29Speaker 2: Belmont was churning out barbershop quartets or something.
- 28:32Speaker 3: All. Oh yeah, lots of students there are for music
- 28:35Speaker 3: performance and performing arts and things like that.
- 28:38Speaker 7: I mean that's where Dasha went.
- 28:39Speaker 2: Yeah, oh, okay, Like there's.
- 28:41Speaker 9: A lot of singer songwriters and literally whenever you watch
- 28:44Speaker 9: the video, which you have to, it sees girls in
- 28:46Speaker 9: their dorm and they open the door and it's these
- 28:48Speaker 9: guys just performing to them, like they just popped up
- 28:52Speaker 9: like a singing telegram on.
- 28:54Speaker 3: Very unique to Belmont kind of moment, very Nashville for sure.
- 28:58Speaker 1: Sure, and they did a great job. I sing that
- 29:01Speaker 1: song for choir in high school.
- 29:02Speaker 7: Go ahead, hit a note.
- 29:04Speaker 2: I didn't even know you did choir.
- 29:06Speaker 1: I did choir for two years in high school.
