- 0:05Speaker 1: Hello, friends from across the nation and around the world.
- 0:08Speaker 1: I'm Martin, and you are listening to Dad's bedtime Stories.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Tonight is a great night to start listening, because tonight
- 0:16Speaker 1: we're starting a brand new series, one that was suggested
- 0:20Speaker 1: by a listener who left me this voicemail.
- 0:23Speaker 2: Let's check it out.
- 0:25Speaker 3: Hello, Martin, my name is Audrey. I'm eleven, and I'm
- 0:29Speaker 3: from Victoria, BC. I would like to suggest a new
- 0:33Speaker 3: series where you wake up and find that you are
- 0:36Speaker 3: a shape shifter and you end up saving the world
- 0:41Speaker 3: countless times.
- 0:42Speaker 2: Great idea, Audrey.
- 0:44Speaker 1: I did have to come up with a little more
- 0:47Speaker 1: of a plot than waking up and finding out you
- 0:49Speaker 1: were a shape shifter because some different ideas came into my.
- 0:52Speaker 2: Head for that.
- 0:53Speaker 1: And as far as saving the world countless times, I'm
- 0:57Speaker 1: going to need everyone's suggestions for that because tonight will
- 1:00Speaker 1: just be the beginning episode, and whether or not I
- 1:05Speaker 1: do more will depend on if I get ideas from
- 1:08Speaker 1: all of my listeners.
- 1:10Speaker 2: So if you want to hear more.
- 1:11Speaker 1: Episodes of the Shape Shifter series or any other series,
- 1:15Speaker 1: don't forget to leave me a message on speak pipe
- 1:17Speaker 1: with your ideas that could get played on a future episode,
- 1:20Speaker 1: or fill out the Google form, or send me an
- 1:23Speaker 1: email or let me know on Patreon. Now, if you
- 1:27Speaker 1: like the podcast, one of the best things you can
- 1:29Speaker 1: possibly do is to share it with other people. If
- 1:32Speaker 1: everyone listening shared it with one other person, we would
- 1:35Speaker 1: double our podcast listeners just overnight. So I'm going to
- 1:40Speaker 1: do something I've done a few times in the past,
- 1:42Speaker 1: and i am starting the social share contest once again.
- 1:48Speaker 2: The idea here is that if you.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Share the podcast on social media with some other people,
- 1:56Speaker 1: you get entered in a draw for a guaranteed story,
- 2:00Speaker 1: which I'll be doing at the end of March, and
- 2:03Speaker 1: that guaranteed story idea, as long as it's reasonable, will
- 2:07Speaker 1: be accompanied by the option for a little bit of
- 2:10Speaker 1: an interview to be played on the same episode. I
- 2:14Speaker 1: did this at the same time last year, and we
- 2:16Speaker 1: had lots of fun and I had a lot of
- 2:18Speaker 1: really cool story ideas and some pretty fun interviews as well.
- 2:23Speaker 1: So if you want to join, I'm gonna put all
- 2:25Speaker 1: of the info in the show notes below. This year,
- 2:28Speaker 1: I am asking that if you share the podcast to
- 2:31Speaker 1: please fill out the Google form I have just let
- 2:33Speaker 1: me know that you shared it, because I'll be using
- 2:36Speaker 1: the names from that Google form for the draw itself.
- 2:39Speaker 1: If that makes any sense. Parents, you have to be
- 2:43Speaker 1: a part of this. I won't take any kid kids
- 2:46Speaker 1: submissions that aren't brought to me by their parents. And yeah,
- 2:51Speaker 1: that's about it. So check that out in the show notes.
- 2:54Speaker 1: There's a form to fill out share the podcast if
- 2:57Speaker 1: you want to. But now it's that time again. Time
- 3:02Speaker 1: to get as comfy as you can in that bed,
- 3:05Speaker 1: close your eyes and imagine yourself doing what the kid
- 3:11Speaker 1: in the story does.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Imagine yourself walking down.
- 3:17Speaker 1: The street one day when you see a little dog.
- 3:23Speaker 1: You're not sure exactly what kind of dog it is.
- 3:26Speaker 1: It kind of looks like a mix between different kinds.
- 3:31Speaker 1: It has a coat of black and white, and for
- 3:35Speaker 1: some reason, it's holding up one of its paws. It
- 3:39Speaker 1: looks injured. You carefully run over to the little dog
- 3:44Speaker 1: and bend down. It seems very friendly and it walks
- 3:48Speaker 1: up to you and presses its head against your hand.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Are you okay, little guy, you say, petting it on
- 3:56Speaker 1: the head.
- 3:57Speaker 2: It looks like you have a hurt paw. Can I
- 4:00Speaker 2: help you? You ask?
- 4:03Speaker 1: In answer to that, the dog sort of jumps into
- 4:07Speaker 1: your arms. Ohkay, you say, as you stand up now
- 4:13Speaker 1: carrying the dog. It's small enough that it's not too
- 4:17Speaker 1: heavy to carry, and you decide to bring it home
- 4:21Speaker 1: with you. Hopefully your hat als will be okay with that.
- 4:26Speaker 1: You arrive home and somehow nobody else is there right now.
- 4:33Speaker 1: You place the dog down on the ground and run
- 4:36Speaker 1: to the kitchen to get a bowl of water. You
- 4:39Speaker 1: fill the bowl up, place it under the pet, and
- 4:44Speaker 1: sit down on the couch, wondering what you can do next.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Why thank you? A voice says from somewhere. You jump back,
- 4:56Speaker 1: looking left and right, trying to figure out where the
- 4:59Speaker 1: voice is come at from. When you hear it again
- 5:03Speaker 1: down here, you look down to see the dog staring
- 5:08Speaker 1: at you. Oh, don't be so shocked. That's right, it's
- 5:14Speaker 1: me the dog. What how are you? How are you
- 5:19Speaker 1: talking to me? You ask, I'm talking to you by
- 5:25Speaker 1: pressing air out of my mouth and through my vocal cords.
- 5:30Speaker 1: But uh, I believe what you really mean is how
- 5:34Speaker 1: is a dog talking to you? And the answer is
- 5:38Speaker 1: a dog is not talking to you, for I am
- 5:42Speaker 1: not a dog. Suddenly, the dog's body starts to get
- 5:48Speaker 1: sort of squigly, sort of less solid and mushy. It
- 5:54Speaker 1: starts to stretch out into a strange looking wizard with
- 6:00Speaker 1: a green hat on, or at least you assume it's
- 6:04Speaker 1: a wizard based on the outfit. He still seems to
- 6:07Speaker 1: have a hurt arm.
- 6:10Speaker 2: What are you doing in my house? You ask?
- 6:14Speaker 1: Oh, don't be silly, I won't hurt you. The name
- 6:19Speaker 1: is Toby, Toby Thornfoot, and I am a.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Sheep shifting wizard.
- 6:27Speaker 1: As you may have figured out, I truly appreciate you
- 6:32Speaker 1: helping me there. I mean, as a sheep shifting wizard,
- 6:36Speaker 1: I have every ability to heal my own wounds, but
- 6:40Speaker 1: I hadn't had time yet, and you seemed very nice. Uh,
- 6:47Speaker 1: you're welcome. Wait, you can heal your own wounds?
- 6:51Speaker 2: You ask?
- 6:52Speaker 1: And in answer to the question, Toby lifts up his
- 6:57Speaker 1: herd arm and focuses on it with both his eyes
- 7:01Speaker 1: and his other hand. His arm itself becomes sort of
- 7:07Speaker 1: wobbly and less solid once again, and then it just
- 7:13Speaker 1: sort of puts itself back in place. He moves the
- 7:17Speaker 1: fingers on his hand to sort of test the thing out. Ah,
- 7:22Speaker 1: that's better, and yes, I can heal myself from most
- 7:27Speaker 1: physical wounds.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Part of being a shape shifter the trick, you.
- 7:33Speaker 1: See, is to just sort of shift your shape back
- 7:36Speaker 1: to an unbroken one, though it takes a bit of
- 7:40Speaker 1: concentration to do. But enough about that. Onto your reward,
- 7:48Speaker 1: my reward. But I didn't even really do anything. I
- 7:52Speaker 1: just brought you home. But it turns out you could
- 7:54Speaker 1: have just healed yourself. You say, ah, that's true. But
- 8:00Speaker 1: in bring me home, you proved yourself to be a
- 8:05Speaker 1: friend of animals, and as such, I am going to
- 8:12Speaker 1: give you an opportunity that was once given to me.
- 8:19Speaker 1: How do you feel about becoming a shape shifting wizard yourself?
- 8:28Speaker 1: You mean like I could transform into animals? Yes, in fact,
- 8:36Speaker 1: you could transform into just about anything as long as
- 8:41Speaker 1: you can sort of absorb its DNA. I have been
- 8:48Speaker 1: around for a long time and can form myself into
- 8:53Speaker 1: many different things. As if to demonstrate, the wizard once
- 8:59Speaker 1: again became sort of well, less solid, and shaped itself
- 9:05Speaker 1: into a tiger, then from a tiger into a kangaroo,
- 9:10Speaker 1: from a kangaroo into an orangutang, from an orang a
- 9:15Speaker 1: tang into a bird, and from a bird back into
- 9:20Speaker 1: a wizard. Now I should warn you that with great
- 9:25Speaker 1: power comes great adventure. For some reason, activating the power
- 9:33Speaker 1: of any kind of wizard tends to attract some attention,
- 9:39Speaker 1: some strange events and synchronicities that lead you to getting
- 9:47Speaker 1: caught up in other things, but mostly things that can
- 9:51Speaker 1: help people. The wizard explains, So would you like this power?
- 10:00Speaker 1: How does it work?
- 10:02Speaker 2: You ask?
- 10:04Speaker 1: Well, first you must make contact with an animal. You
- 10:09Speaker 1: must focus on that animal, imagine yourself becoming that animal,
- 10:17Speaker 1: and absorb that animal's DNA signature. From there you should
- 10:24Speaker 1: be able to transform.
- 10:27Speaker 2: Ah, and what do you mean.
- 10:28Speaker 1: About the adventure thing like I'm suddenly going to be
- 10:32Speaker 1: caught up in strange happenings. Well, yes, essentially, you see,
- 10:40Speaker 1: the universe has a strange way of matching.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Up people who need help with people.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Who can help, and as a shape shifter, you will
- 10:53Speaker 1: have an ability to help.
- 10:56Speaker 2: You think about it for a moment.
- 10:59Speaker 1: It would be really cool to be able to turn
- 11:01Speaker 1: into a tiger or a bear, or like a big
- 11:06Speaker 1: bird that could soar high above the world. Oh, I'll
- 11:13Speaker 1: do it, you say, Still not sure if any of
- 11:16Speaker 1: this really makes any sense.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Very good.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Now, all I must do is unlock your DNA Yeah. Uh,
- 11:29Speaker 1: just stand still there, you stand in place in the
- 11:33Speaker 1: middle of your living room. The wizard Toby walks up
- 11:38Speaker 1: to you and places his hand directly on your forehead.
- 11:42Speaker 1: There's a strange sensation that passes through your body, like
- 11:48Speaker 1: warm water is suddenly shooting out your ears. It's honestly
- 11:54Speaker 1: difficult to describe, but by the time he's done, you
- 11:59Speaker 1: feel different. Ah what now, you ask? Now you find
- 12:07Speaker 1: some animals in practice turning into them. Remember, place your
- 12:14Speaker 1: hand on them, focus on the essence of the animal,
- 12:19Speaker 1: and allow your body to.
- 12:22Speaker 2: Do the rest. Can you show me? Oh?
- 12:28Speaker 1: Fine, Toby agrees, but honestly, it's going to come naturally.
- 12:33Speaker 2: Follow me.
- 12:35Speaker 1: Toby leads you out of the house and into the yard,
- 12:38Speaker 1: where he looks around for many animals in the area.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Oh and I probably should have mentioned. The power also
- 12:48Speaker 1: gives you the ability to commune with the animals, to
- 12:52Speaker 1: speak to them in a way they'll understand, to call
- 12:56Speaker 1: them to your aid when needed, or to find them
- 13:01Speaker 1: in the neighborhood when you need an animal to teach
- 13:03Speaker 1: someone else. Ou to become a shape shifter. Toby bends
- 13:09Speaker 1: down towards the ground, and out of nowhere, a cat
- 13:14Speaker 1: runs across the grass and stands in front of you.
- 13:19Speaker 1: There we go a neighborhood cat. Simply bend down, touched
- 13:25Speaker 1: the cat on the head or wherever. Honestly, even a
- 13:29Speaker 1: little scrap of fur will do for getting DNA and
- 13:33Speaker 1: focus on becoming the cat. When you look at the cat,
- 13:38Speaker 1: you feel something you've never felt before, as if you
- 13:43Speaker 1: can sense the cat's feelings. He seems curious, apprehensive. It's okay, buddy,
- 13:52Speaker 1: come here, you say, and the cat listens. He walks
- 13:57Speaker 1: over it, towards you and pushes his head up into
- 14:01Speaker 1: your hand. You scratch him on the side of the head.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Then you close your eyes and focus. You focus on
- 14:11Speaker 1: the cat what it's like to be a cat, and
- 14:16Speaker 1: a strange glowing power shoots through your body. You start
- 14:23Speaker 1: to feel less solid, and you begin to change shape.
- 14:30Speaker 1: Your arms and legs shrink, your body squeezes inward, and
- 14:36Speaker 1: fur starts to grow out of pretty much every part
- 14:40Speaker 1: of you. Somehow, your clothing just sort of transforms into
- 14:46Speaker 1: part of the cat as well, which is super strange,
- 14:51Speaker 1: but probably less strange than a cat wearing pants and
- 14:54Speaker 1: t shirt. The world around you suddenly lights up a
- 15:00Speaker 1: different way than it did before. You start to notice everything,
- 15:06Speaker 1: as if the world around you is moving slightly slower.
- 15:11Speaker 1: You hear the wind against the grass, and you feel
- 15:15Speaker 1: it on your whiskers. You see every bird, every animal,
- 15:22Speaker 1: every rodent in the area, and you can smell things too,
- 15:27Speaker 1: and your smell sort of transforms into your eyesight, as
- 15:32Speaker 1: if you can see trails leading all over the place.
- 15:37Speaker 1: You also feel super agile, and you have a sudden
- 15:43Speaker 1: distaste for humankind for some reason that you can't quite
- 15:47Speaker 1: put your finger on. You start to run. You run
- 15:52Speaker 1: like a cat would run, darting across the lawn at
- 15:55Speaker 1: incredible speed. You see a tree and leap in the air,
- 16:00Speaker 1: Grasping on to the tree with your retractable claws.
- 16:05Speaker 4: You climb up and make.
- 16:06Speaker 2: Your way on to a branch.
- 16:09Speaker 1: You look down at the world below, and everything just
- 16:15Speaker 1: seems so peaceful, so serene, very good, Toby says. Walking
- 16:24Speaker 1: over to the tree, he reaches up and grabs you,
- 16:29Speaker 1: pulling you out of the branch and down to the ground.
- 16:33Speaker 1: Now it's important not to get lost in the animal.
- 16:38Speaker 1: It's an easy thing to do. If you stay in
- 16:41Speaker 1: one of the forms too long, you can very well
- 16:46Speaker 1: forget your humanity for a while. I once transformed into
- 16:51Speaker 1: a bird and stayed that way for a year. Boy
- 16:55Speaker 1: was I surprised when I finally snapped out of it.
- 16:59Speaker 1: Anyway to transform back, just focus on being yourself. You
- 17:07Speaker 1: look at him sideways, this strange, very dull man. But
- 17:13Speaker 1: something about what he says makes sense. So you close
- 17:18Speaker 1: your cat eyes and focus on what it was like
- 17:22Speaker 1: to be a human, and slowly you start to feel
- 17:27Speaker 1: less solid once again. Your body begins to grow, your
- 17:33Speaker 1: fur disappears, your clothes appear once again, and before long
- 17:39Speaker 1: you find yourself standing up right directly in front of
- 17:44Speaker 1: Toby the Wizard.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Very good, and with.
- 17:50Speaker 1: That, I'll leave you to it. I suggest exploring as
- 17:55Speaker 1: many animal forms as you possibly can. The more full
- 18:00Speaker 1: you have, the more powerful you will be. Once you've
- 18:05Speaker 1: absorbed a form, you can transform into at any time
- 18:09Speaker 1: you wish by simply remembering what it felt like to
- 18:13Speaker 1: do it the first time. But for now, I must
- 18:18Speaker 1: be off, Toby says. Then he becomes sort of less
- 18:25Speaker 1: solid once again, as if his body's melting. He suddenly shifts,
- 18:31Speaker 1: shrinks down, and grows large wings, becoming a pretty gigantic
- 18:38Speaker 1: looking hawk. He jumps in the air, begins to flap
- 18:43Speaker 1: his wings, and flies high up into the sky. I'll
- 18:48Speaker 1: check on you later, he says, as he disappears toward
- 18:54Speaker 1: the clouds.
- 18:56Speaker 5: Oh, a bird, huh. Becoming a bird would be super useful.
- 19:04Speaker 5: You see a little bird in a tree nearby. How
- 19:08Speaker 5: can I catch it? You wonder, And then you remember
- 19:13Speaker 5: that you are supposed to be able to commune with
- 19:16Speaker 5: the animals.
- 19:18Speaker 1: So instead of running towards the thing, jumping into the tree,
- 19:22Speaker 1: and trying to tackle the bird, you simply call out
- 19:26Speaker 1: to the thing with your mind. Hey bird, ah, I
- 19:31Speaker 1: want to come over here, you say, holding your hand
- 19:35Speaker 1: up in the air. The bird looks at you sideways,
- 19:39Speaker 1: then jumps from the tree, spreads its wings, and glides
- 19:43Speaker 1: over towards you, landing gracefully on your fingers. You focus
- 19:50Speaker 1: on the bird. You allow the birds DNA and yours
- 19:55Speaker 1: to become one.
- 19:58Speaker 2: And soon you're.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Body feels less solid. You begin to melt down towards
- 20:06Speaker 1: the ground. Your arms and legs shrink once again. Your
- 20:11Speaker 1: clothing somehow absorbs into your body, and your arms transform
- 20:18Speaker 1: into wings, Your legs transform into little bird feet, and
- 20:24Speaker 1: somehow you get a tail sticking out behind you. You're
- 20:28Speaker 1: not even sure what kind of bird you are, just
- 20:32Speaker 1: a little one. The other bird, the one that was
- 20:37Speaker 1: in your hand, lands on the ground in front of
- 20:40Speaker 1: you and looks at you. You feel a sense of
- 20:44Speaker 1: well friendship with the bird, a sense that the bird's
- 20:49Speaker 1: calling you to follow it, so you decide to do
- 20:54Speaker 1: just that. The bird hops away, spreads its wings and
- 20:59Speaker 1: begins flat them, pulling itself up into the air. You
- 21:04Speaker 1: instinctively decide to do the same thing. You spread your wings,
- 21:09Speaker 1: hop forward, and for once it feels as if the
- 21:14Speaker 1: air is something that you can actually grab onto. Not
- 21:19Speaker 1: quite like swimming in water, but a lot more like
- 21:23Speaker 1: swimming in water than you might imagine your large bird
- 21:28Speaker 1: arms or wings, I should say, take scoops of the
- 21:32Speaker 1: air and easily lift your light body up. You fly
- 21:37Speaker 1: higher and higher, flapping after the other little bird. You
- 21:43Speaker 1: rise up above the houses in the neighborhood, and then
- 21:48Speaker 1: the bird in front of you begins to just glide,
- 21:52Speaker 1: to spread its wings and fly forward, flapping every now
- 21:57Speaker 1: and then to get a little more height. You imitate
- 22:01Speaker 1: the bird, gliding over on the wind, flapping your wings
- 22:06Speaker 1: for a little more height, and together you soar high
- 22:10Speaker 1: above the world, over top of the city, over top
- 22:16Speaker 1: of shops and stores, and forests until you see something
- 22:22Speaker 1: very interesting below, a place you sort of remember, a
- 22:28Speaker 1: place with lots of different animals. A zoo, the perfect
- 22:36Speaker 1: place to acquire a little more DNA, as long as
- 22:40Speaker 1: you can find a way to touch the animals anyways,
- 22:43Speaker 1: The more dangerous ones, the ones that you would actually
- 22:47Speaker 1: be interested in having, tend to be locked up behind cages,
- 22:53Speaker 1: though birds can fly over many of those cages. Glide
- 23:00Speaker 1: over top of the zoo, taking in all of the
- 23:04Speaker 1: different animals. There's a pen of birds, some sort of
- 23:09Speaker 1: ox creature, strangely, some horses, a couple giraffes, some elephence camels, tigers,
- 23:20Speaker 1: and even a pen full of bears. Besides that, a
- 23:26Speaker 1: whole cage full of all sorts of gigantic looking gorillas.
- 23:33Speaker 1: The only question was exactly where to start. You decide
- 23:39Speaker 1: to swoop down on the tiger cage, since it would
- 23:43Speaker 1: be a pretty good idea to have some sort of
- 23:46Speaker 1: powerful animal in your arsenal. As you first lowered down,
- 23:51Speaker 1: the tigers look very excited, as if they want to
- 23:54Speaker 1: attack you. WHOA, don't attack me, you say, use your mind.
- 24:01Speaker 1: I'm okay, I'm wait a second, I'm a shape shifter.
- 24:08Speaker 1: In fact, I ask all of you to calm down,
- 24:13Speaker 1: to lay down on the ground.
- 24:16Speaker 2: This is not a bird you want to eat.
- 24:20Speaker 1: You try to project the best you can, and strangely,
- 24:25Speaker 1: the animals listen. The three tigers inside the cage just
- 24:31Speaker 1: lay down on the ground and relax. You swoop down
- 24:37Speaker 1: towards the grass land beside one of the tigers and
- 24:42Speaker 1: walk up towards it. You lift up one of your
- 24:47Speaker 1: bird legs and place it on the tiger's fur. The
- 24:52Speaker 1: tiger doesn't react in any way, and you focus on
- 24:57Speaker 1: the tiger's DNA.
- 25:00Speaker 2: The same strange.
- 25:01Speaker 1: Sensation passes through your body and you begin to feel
- 25:07Speaker 1: more liquidy once again. Your body starts to stretch out
- 25:13Speaker 1: to grow. You grow fur out of your arms and legs,
- 25:18Speaker 1: and you start to feel very very strong. Your little
- 25:24Speaker 1: bird tail transforms into a real tiger tail, and you
- 25:30Speaker 1: feel like you could take on an elephant. You look
- 25:36Speaker 1: around and see that you're well trapped in a cage.
- 25:40Speaker 1: Not the idea way to practice with the form. Maybe
- 25:44Speaker 1: it's something you'll have to try later on. Instead, you
- 25:49Speaker 1: move towards the side of a cage, duck down behind
- 25:53Speaker 1: some grass, and focus on the bird form. Once again. Again,
- 25:59Speaker 1: your body becomes less solid and you transform back into
- 26:05Speaker 1: the bird. You flap your little wings and fly high
- 26:09Speaker 1: up above the cage. Then you come over towards the gorillas.
- 26:16Speaker 1: You land on top of the gorilla cage and look
- 26:19Speaker 1: inside at all of the trees and the little gorilla habitat,
- 26:24Speaker 1: and again you focus on asking the gorillas to be
- 26:29Speaker 1: calm to accept you into the cage. Slowly, they all
- 26:34Speaker 1: just kind of sit down and relax. You duck through
- 26:39Speaker 1: the bars on the top of the cage and land
- 26:42Speaker 1: on one of the gorilla's shoulders. You absorb the gorilla's DNA.
- 26:49Speaker 1: Your body becomes less solid, and you hop over towards
- 26:54Speaker 1: the ground before transforming into a gorilla, developing very strong
- 27:01Speaker 1: gorilla arms and legs until you reach up as tall
- 27:06Speaker 1: as the gorilla that you scanned. You have the sudden
- 27:09Speaker 1: urge to make fists and bang them against your chest.
- 27:13Speaker 2: So you do.
- 27:15Speaker 1: You see the trees around you, and well, for some reason,
- 27:20Speaker 1: it feels like an excellent idea to jump up and
- 27:22Speaker 1: grab one of the branches. You do just that, and
- 27:27Speaker 1: it feels natural, as if you could hang here forever.
- 27:33Speaker 1: You swing from one branch to another, making your way
- 27:37Speaker 1: through the gorilla habitat, before deciding that you might want
- 27:42Speaker 1: to get out of here as well. You focus on
- 27:46Speaker 1: the bird once again, transform and fly up out of
- 27:52Speaker 1: the cage, squeezing through the top nimbly before taking off
- 27:58Speaker 1: into the air once again. You're starting to feel rather sleepy.
- 28:05Speaker 1: Maybe it's all of the absorption of different animal powers,
- 28:09Speaker 1: or well, honestly, you're not quite sure, but you are
- 28:15Speaker 1: sure that it's time to head home. You spread your wings,
- 28:20Speaker 1: flap them as hard as you can until you get
- 28:23Speaker 1: up high enough over top of the world and you
- 28:27Speaker 1: begin to glide.
- 28:29Speaker 2: You glide over.
- 28:31Speaker 1: The same forests, in the same houses, the same buildings,
- 28:36Speaker 1: until you finally see a familiar home, your home. A
- 28:42Speaker 1: window is open, so you swoop right in into your bedroom.
- 28:49Speaker 1: You land on the ground and focus on what it
- 28:53Speaker 1: was like to be you before all of these animal
- 28:57Speaker 1: shapes came along. Your body transforms, your arms and legs reappear,
- 29:05Speaker 1: along with your clothing, and you crawl into bed. You
- 29:12Speaker 1: pull the covers up to your chin, close your eyes,
- 29:18Speaker 1: and you begin to focus on your breath. With each breath,
- 29:25Speaker 1: you try to let go of a little more tension,
- 29:28Speaker 1: and your muscles You start with your feet and your legs,
- 29:35Speaker 1: allowing yourself to melt down into the mattress. Then you
- 29:41Speaker 1: move on to your shoulders and your neck, releasing all
- 29:46Speaker 1: of the tension you can and allowing yourself to sink
- 29:51Speaker 1: down deeper and deeper into the mattress. And with each
- 29:57Speaker 1: breath you sink down a little bit more. And the
- 30:03Speaker 1: deeper you sink, the better you feel, and the better
- 30:08Speaker 1: you feel, the deeper you sink, until your mind begins
- 30:14Speaker 1: to wander off to thoughts of new dreams, new adventures,
- 30:22Speaker 1: and new animal forms to come.
- 30:26Speaker 2: Good night.
- 30:26Speaker 4: Everyone must.
- 33:53Speaker 6: Never richmon name acommon.
