Transcript
- 0:15Welcome everyone to Arguing Ever After.
- 0:19So for this episode, we've decided that we're not going to
- 0:22put it in the regular episode lineup, though it will count
- 0:26towards the overall wins and losses.
- 0:29Yep, Yep. We wanted to make sure that we
- 0:31can always have content for you coming out regularly, so this is
- 0:36a bonus episode. We are the Lord and Lady who
- 0:41lock horns. The count and Countess of
- 0:44contention. The Duke and Duchess of
- 0:46Disagreement. And the king and queen of
- 0:49quarrels. We have been together since high
- 0:51school in the 1990s, we've been married for over 20 years, and
- 0:56we've argued about practically everything.
- 0:58And yet still, somehow, we're able to stay happily together.
- 1:02We have a teenage daughter who doesn't yet hate us, and most of
- 1:05our families still talks to us on purpose.
- 1:08All in all, pretty darn good. Every day, all over the world,
- 1:12couples are fighting battles based on molehills that don't
- 1:15matter. And sometimes mountains that
- 1:19send spouses to go sleep on couches and keep the chocolate
- 1:22companies and facial tissue giants in business.
- 1:26In this entertainment only podcast, we will bicker about
- 1:28all things big and small and the audience gets the final say in
- 1:32who the winner is. We do not claim to be
- 1:35relationship experts by any means, but if we can have
- 1:38meaningless arguments and still like each other, why not give it
- 1:42a listen? We will quarrel about topics
- 1:45which are frequently submitted by our listeners, so if you have
- 1:48any idea that you want us to argue about, please e-mail it to
- 1:51arguingeverafter@gmail.com and we could cross swords over it so
- 1:58you could have a preview of how it might sound in your own
- 2:00relationship. Perhaps this completely
- 2:03unscientific method of letting the masses decide can settle
- 2:07your fight before you even have it.
- 2:08OK. Well, today's discussion, we are
- 2:14going through our limited list of topics.
- 2:16Again, if you have any topics, please send them to us at
- 2:19gmailorwhateverarguingeverafter@gmail.com. But we're looking through and
- 2:25there was a topic that I had on there that Luke was trying to
- 2:30figure out why I put it on there.
- 2:31And the topic is Knick Knacks or.
- 2:37Tchotchkes. Or baubles items around the
- 2:40house. We all end up collecting things
- 2:45whether we mean to collect them or not collect them.
- 2:48But I know everyone has objects that they didn't expect to ever
- 2:54have in their house. For sure, being a couple, it's
- 3:00interesting because you come in with different tastes.
- 3:05Although we've been together for a really, really long time, I
- 3:09would say that most of my items or look likes.
- 3:16OK. I could be wrong on that but I
- 3:19think most of them that we've especially gotten together since
- 3:22we've been together. He seems like pretty on board
- 3:25forgetting, am I wrong? Not about all of the things.
- 3:31Sometimes I just play along because there's you know why?
- 3:35Why I make waves? We are known when we go places
- 3:43to pick up souvenirs frequently and really, I really don't think
- 3:47that Luke's had any issues with any souvenirs that we've gotten.
- 3:51However, what kind of made me put it on the list is seeing all
- 3:57of the action figures that Luke has.
- 4:03Crossing a line. And very specific to one
- 4:09category of action figures. And I'm going to say it's Star
- 4:16Wars. Luke is a Star Wars fan.
- 4:21For sure as is. The world I have no.
- 4:26Mm hmm. Go ahead, dig your hole.
- 4:27I have no issues with Luke being a Star Wars fan.
- 4:30Oh, that's how we're phrasing it.
- 4:33That is how we're phrasing it. But I don't understand how you
- 4:39could have Star Wars ingrained in everything.
- 4:44And it is not just action figures, just that this is the
- 4:47action figure or bobble head or whatever, whatever it is.
- 4:52I mean, you literally have bobble heads.
- 4:55Maybe like one or two that you probably got for me.
- 4:58I don't know where you think I acquired mine, but it wasn't off
- 5:00the shelf for personal satisfaction.
- 5:03Anyhow, but you have them displayed, which is fine.
- 5:07But what I was what I was getting to is I don't understand
- 5:10how there can be so many tchotchke items that are Star
- 5:16Wars that it leaks over into holidays.
- 5:20You'll have Darth Vader for Christmas, Darth Vader for
- 5:24Halloween, which I get that one Easter Yoda I mean, just pick a
- 5:31holiday and there's a possible doll action figure item that
- 5:37goes with it for Star Wars you've.
- 5:39Got to be careful we're about to have a Star Wars debate instead
- 5:41of. Not having Star Wars debate.
- 5:43So what I'm going to talk about now is so we have these little
- 5:49things around and. They'll let us know if you're
- 5:51ready for a Star Wars debate I. I will lose, I promise.
- 5:54She's going down. I know, I know.
- 5:56I actually concede that I will lose on a Star Wars debate.
- 5:59But the items themselves, I'm not necessarily thinking I'm
- 6:02going to lose on because they're kind of tacky to have just
- 6:08laying around and Luke kind of notices like he'll have it
- 6:14somewhere and then I'll kind of put it in his face, you know,
- 6:18like by his side of the bed that I can't see so he can enjoy
- 6:22them, but I don't have to look at them.
- 6:28So is there any items that you want to talk about that I have?
- 6:32I this is just so I put it on the list based on that.
- 6:35So you don't want to talk about the painting?
- 6:37Oh, that's going to be my end thing.
- 6:39I'm not. We're saving.
- 6:39That later. That's a part of our vote.
- 6:41Perfect. OK, that's great.
- 6:43So we're just talking about knickknacks.
- 6:45OK, OK, I'm just going to. I'm going to bring the audience
- 6:48into it, myself included. How many y'all out there wonder
- 6:53why your wives bought so many vases, plates and pictures that
- 6:58they're never going to use? They're up on a wall to just be
- 7:02there so that, like, I don't know, other people come in the
- 7:05house and they go, oh, look, they have plates, vases and
- 7:09pitchers. They must be a fine, fine
- 7:12family. Like, what was it that happened
- 7:15in our society where publicly displaying the things which you
- 7:19would use to consume food and beverages on the wall has become
- 7:24a societal norm that's accepted by people and even perpetuated
- 7:28through the generations? I don't get it.
- 7:31It makes no sense to me at all. Like someone's going to be like,
- 7:34come in your house and go, oh, you have a beautiful plate
- 7:38collection, Please let's talk about it.
- 7:41That doesn't happen. We've had people over to our
- 7:43house for years and years and years.
- 7:46Never once have I ever had somebody want to strike up a
- 7:49conversation about a vase. See, my dog agrees with me.
- 7:51He heard me getting animated and he said, Yup, let's get in on
- 7:54that. So that's one of my issues.
- 7:57Why do we have so many of them and why are they on the wall?
- 8:00And where do they all come from? But then I mean, the acquisition
- 8:04of these things, it's like it's a, it's a whole nother subset of
- 8:08life. Like you got to go to antique
- 8:09shows, you got to go to trade fairs, you got to go to like
- 8:14swap meets and all kinds of different things to acquire
- 8:18different plates, pitchers and bases.
- 8:22And then you know what you're going to do with them.
- 8:23They're going to go in the same place as the ones you have.
- 8:25They're going to sit up there on a shelf somewhere and you're
- 8:28going to look at them like I'm doing right now, looking at some
- 8:30of the stuff in this room and wonder, huh, I wonder why we
- 8:33have that thing. I'm just saying the whole
- 8:37category as it stands is a little strange.
- 8:41OK, I'm going to discuss sometimes some people.
- 8:48I get extra points for the dog. No, you don't.
- 8:50He's he would come to me if I called him.
- 8:52So sometimes people have things that make that they look at that
- 8:57makes them happy because they're pretty or they do serve a
- 9:03function. Right now I hear what you're
- 9:05saying about all of the vases, and I was so glad you went
- 9:09there. Oh, good.
- 9:10Because what vases? What are they supposed to do?
- 9:13Hold flowers. So if the problem is that
- 9:17they're not holding flowers. Oh please.
- 9:19We should get more flowers. Flowers are beautiful.
- 9:22Who doesn't want more flowers in the house?
- 9:24So I am prepared for all the flowers that will come into the
- 9:28house. Are we having a funeral anytime
- 9:31soon in the house? No, you need 25 vases.
- 9:35Different. OK, OK.
- 9:37You need different size vases depending on the flowers.
- 9:41So like if you have one single flower, you're going to have a
- 9:44smaller vase than if you have a huge bouquet.
- 9:47If they're taller flowers, they need to be in a taller vase.
- 9:49If they're short flowers then they need to be in a short vase,
- 9:52which I don't really get them any short flowers.
- 9:54You know what you could do? You could take all the vases you
- 9:56want to have and put them in a vase closet somewhere and just
- 10:00pull out the correct receptacle for the time at hand When I get
- 10:03you flowers, because by the way, you don't get me flowers.
- 10:05I like flowers. And two, when you put all those
- 10:08things away from the wall, you would have space on the wall to
- 10:10hang a nice large decorative painting.
- 10:12Just thoughts just throwing out there.
- 10:17We will get back to that painting.
- 10:18Oh, we will. Oh we will.
- 10:20So, but like I think that the vases themselves that I have are
- 10:24pretty so looking at those. They're not unpretty, I agree.
- 10:30OK. So I don't really see again an
- 10:33issue with those items. They're not unpretty.
- 10:37There's nothing else that you're going to be putting into that
- 10:39place. I do, kind of.
- 10:41Paintings. That's an option for things that
- 10:43go on walls. I mean, that's literally it's
- 10:46like a it's this, this, it's not maybe this much space.
- 10:50Like I don't know. What is that 3 feet, 3 feet of
- 10:53space on one wall and a foot of space on another that is holding
- 10:58faces? Now, if you're talking about
- 11:00mantels, it's not unusual for people to have stuff on their
- 11:04Mantel. And display tables.
- 11:06And I we don't even have a display table.
- 11:08Oh yeah. And curious, yeah, but we.
- 11:10Don't have a curio cap, now we do.
- 11:11Have a shelf in the corner. Sure.
- 11:15Sort of like a curio just doesn't have the glass thing.
- 11:18It's a shelved unit in the corner of a room that is holding
- 11:21Knick knacks. OK, what's wrong with this?
- 11:24I'm just pointing out that we have more than you said briefly,
- 11:26like, oh, we just have a couple little quick little things on
- 11:30the wall. I was just adding into the lots
- 11:33of other places that we have, like the mantels.
- 11:35We got two of those and then we got 2 little shelved units in
- 11:40this room. We got a a tower in the corner
- 11:43of one room, a table in the middle of another room.
- 11:45I mean, there's a lot of places that that have some Knick
- 11:48knacks, yes, around. Yes, I have no problems but
- 11:53there being a lot of knickknacks around.
- 11:55Do you? Let's talk about problems.
- 11:58First of all, you have so many knickknacks that you've acquired
- 12:02at so many places that you bought a special knickknack that
- 12:08you now keep to remind yourself not to buy too many knickknacks
- 12:14because you don't even like it. Absolutely, absolutely.
- 12:18I think we all should keep a reminder of a mistake made to
- 12:22not do it again. Just in the house.
- 12:25Just keep it like you couldn't remember.
- 12:28I mean, could, could you not? Could you not remember?
- 12:31I mean, I was definitely on an antique shopping spree for a
- 12:35little bit there. I would go with lots of people
- 12:38to antique shows and, you know, I would find something and I'd
- 12:41be like, great, can I get a good deal on it?
- 12:43And if I get a good deal on it and if it at that time caught my
- 12:45eye, I'd pick it up. Absolutely.
- 12:49This time it absolutely caught my eye.
- 12:52I got a great price on it which I couldn't even tell you today
- 12:55what it is. Great price.
- 12:56I also purchased a few other things that day.
- 13:00So I think I had like that shopping spree blindness.
- 13:05You know, I feel like people do this in general, and I could be
- 13:09wrong, where you just go shopping and you're like, oh,
- 13:11I'm going to go buy shirts or whatever the item is.
- 13:14And then they just buy 7 of something because it's what's in
- 13:16their mind that they're going to buy.
- 13:17That's. Probably why people invented the
- 13:19mall. Absolutely.
- 13:20Maybe they got you on a run. They're like, well, they're
- 13:22going. They're going right.
- 13:24Put some more stores in front of.
- 13:25Them right, they're shopping, why won't they buy more?
- 13:27So this is what happened. At that time I bought probably
- 13:30way too many items and when I got home and I was like
- 13:34unwrapping my hall, I looked and I was like, it is a vase and it
- 13:44is colourful and I hadn't seen anything like the design on it
- 13:51before, but I didn't you're right.
- 13:54I didn't actually like it. I know why it's jumped out at me
- 13:58there because like that's usually how I will go antique
- 14:01shopping. This is probably a lot of fun
- 14:02for our listeners to hear about. But you know, it's just like
- 14:05what jumps out at you because I'm not like a like dig deep
- 14:08into things like I'm just like how?
- 14:10And I'm also. That's gross, right?
- 14:14I don't want to do that. I.
- 14:15Don't want to do that, but like I do like just kind of walking
- 14:18through and seeing what is actually going to jump out at
- 14:21me. So that's, that's how I shop.
- 14:23Anyhow, this thing jumped out at me and I didn't at the time of
- 14:26Reddit. Today I do and it's just a
- 14:28lesson for the future. I do try to have a thought of if
- 14:33I'm buying something, something needs to leave.
- 14:36In general, I don't like too much clutter in our house, so
- 14:41that is why when you have something that I don't like,
- 14:44that comes into the house I have.
- 14:47Something that you don't like? Yes.
- 14:49This doesn't apply both directions.
- 14:51I'm just talking. OK.
- 14:52I just wanted to make that clear that this is a one way street.
- 14:55I'm sure. OK, sure.
- 14:57I'm saying for me, when you have something that I don't like, I
- 15:01think of it and then as clutter. Oh, we could talk about clutter
- 15:05for a whole episode too. Wait.
- 15:07Yes, we can. I called my family human
- 15:11cluttered. Yes, you did I.
- 15:14Cannot. We're in the way.
- 15:16Why were they there in the way when I was trying to do other
- 15:18stuff? Anyway and we're back, we had to
- 15:21remove our wonderful dog Toblerone.
- 15:24He was being too cute and distracting for us to have a
- 15:26real argument. Also, while we were away, we've
- 15:28decided to add in some show and tell to this episode.
- 15:33So, Luke, let me ask you a question.
- 15:37And now, the moment you've all been waiting for in this corner,
- 15:41we have Amber claiming to weigh in at 135 lbs.
- 15:44She has over 25 years of practice in the art of
- 15:47insignificant lover spats and is armed with her amazing wit which
- 15:50she will need today. And in this corner, we have Luke
- 15:54at his prime weight of 185 lbs. Plus, he's sporting a luxurious
- 15:59red beard, and he's been arguing since he was born to a very
- 16:03competitive family. Now, Luke, let me ask you a
- 16:07question. If there was one item in this
- 16:12house that you could remove, what would it be?
- 16:19Well, I have an answer. I just want you to know, I don't
- 16:21think it's fair that I have to pick one, but but it would be
- 16:27the very ridiculous tiny base that we alluded to earlier in
- 16:34the episode that you keep to remind yourself that you don't
- 16:37like it. You're actually keeping
- 16:40something you don't want on purpose.
- 16:43That's the contention for me. Why is it in our house?
- 16:48And do you have something you'd like to remove?
- 16:51Yes, very much so for this item. I was talking about Star Wars on
- 16:59purpose for knickknacks, and I think the best thing, I will
- 17:05describe it for our listeners, but for our viewers, the best
- 17:10thing we could do is show it Agreed.
- 17:13So let's one moment pause. It'll be seamless for you.
- 17:17Little pause. Here we go.
- 17:18OK, we're back from the pause. All right, so this would be the
- 17:22item of Luke's that I would like removed from the house.
- 17:29No. This is some sort of Star Wars
- 17:32scene. These are Star Giant Star Wars
- 17:37walking items. Walkers.
- 17:39Walkers with a girl who's probably in this painting.
- 17:44This painting is maybe 4 feet tall, 6 feet wide.
- 17:49I would say this woman in the painting is at least three feet
- 17:54tall. And in the painting, this is a
- 17:57mixed media painting. She's got coil metal curls in
- 18:02her hair that are sticking out. It's copper.
- 18:04And Luke called me when he picked this up and said don't
- 18:07worry, Amber, don't. Worry.
- 18:11I can remove the gear right here.
- 18:15About the size of a dime is a tiny gear.
- 18:19He thought that that would be the issue.
- 18:23When I have this. Ginormous picture here that this
- 18:27one little thing would be why I wouldn't let it hang up on our
- 18:32wall. Not to mention the fact I don't
- 18:34know that we have a wall large enough for this and I wouldn't
- 18:37want it anyhow. So that's my item and we will
- 18:40discuss further at some point. But look, would you like to show
- 18:44them your item? In a moment, first, I just want
- 18:48to point out a couple of things for the true fans and for people
- 18:51who like legitimately new and fantastic art.
- 18:55First of all, you've pointed out that it's mixed media.
- 18:57We have like obviously the painter did some vertical drips
- 19:02that way, then rotated it and put this painting over the top.
- 19:07I want to point out that she has two leashes.
- 19:09She has her little heart spider friend, which is awesome, and
- 19:13then she also has this leash which goes to the head, so it's
- 19:18like her little buddy. And just for fun, he's drooling
- 19:22a little bit right there, just like our best friend did that we
- 19:25had to remove from the episode. EW, I did not even realize that
- 19:29was drool. Well.
- 19:30They don't drool but in this. That's disgusting.
- 19:33This is her best friend, and sometimes your best friend rules
- 19:35a little bit and that's. OK, disgusting.
- 19:38And that's all the points I feel like I need to make.
- 19:41This is a fantastic piece of Star Wars art that any true fan
- 19:44would probably love to have. I imagine its value to be
- 19:47enormous. I don't actually know, but it
- 19:49would not surprise me if this was in some sort of Star Wars
- 19:52art exhibition. If someone would purchase this
- 19:55for north of $1000, feel free to tell me I'm wrong people.
- 19:58I don't necessarily doubt that someone might pay that, but we
- 20:05don't. I don't want to pay anything.
- 20:08I would pay to have this removed from the house.
- 20:10This does not. This does not even fit in my
- 20:12vehicle. Because you're going to.
- 20:14Lose. This does not happen.
- 20:15It does not. It did not fit in my vehicle
- 20:17either. I had to use a pickup truck.
- 20:18Yes, that's how big his eyesore of an item.
- 20:22Nope. Artist's objective.
- 20:23I get that. Beautiful, beautiful artist's
- 20:26rendition. It's too much.
- 20:27Love and science fiction it's. Too much, it's too much.
- 20:33It's too much. Now, would you like to show the
- 20:36item that you want removed of mine?
- 20:39Yes, the tiny vase that that you.
- 20:41Can you go find it? No problem, I'm going to switch
- 20:46sides. OK, OK, I'm.
- 20:47Going to get a little closer so you guys can see this.
- 20:50This is a vase that was picked up at some, I don't know,
- 20:57antique show. It has little flowers and little
- 21:01little painted circly deals. It probably would hold maybe 1
- 21:07flower. OK.
- 21:08And the reason this is in our house isn't because someone
- 21:11loves it like I love the Star Wars painting, or because it's
- 21:14beautiful. It's because she thinks that she
- 21:17should keep a thing that she doesn't actually want.
- 21:22I didn't say I don't want it, I said I don't necessarily like
- 21:26it. But again, you see the size
- 21:29difference. Luke earlier was talking about a
- 21:32vase closet, which we don't happen to own.
- 21:34If anyone is wondering. We aren't quite that bougie yet.
- 21:38But this would fit into a vase closet.
- 21:44This doesn't fit in anything. Everybody knows bigger is
- 21:50better. That is not always the case when
- 21:53it's something you're trying to get rid of.
- 21:55Hide Shove under a bed or something?
- 21:58Just so you people know our our friends listen to this.
- 22:02She doesn't even want it in the house so bad that it first lived
- 22:06in our outdoor patio sitting area which is covered.
- 22:11So it wasn't subjected to the elements.
- 22:13Don't worry. But but it didn't have the right
- 22:16mounting. So then what I had to do was
- 22:19take it from that area because she still didn't like it.
- 22:22No, that's my space that I use a lot.
- 22:24Her space just let's be clear it's everything in the house is
- 22:26her space from home. It ended up in the garage.
- 22:30Now I did hang it in such a way that every time I pull into the
- 22:33garage front center right in front of me is this beauty and I
- 22:36get to see it in all of its glory every time I come home
- 22:40from anywhere. So at least I get to see it, but
- 22:43the fact that it's been relegated to a place of things
- 22:47that everyone really doesn't need or want to see.
- 22:50See how big this thing is? It's.
- 22:52In the garage, people. This thing is so flipping big.
- 22:56This little vase here, did you know he didn't even realize I
- 22:59had this? That's how small it was.
- 23:01He had to go looking around the house to try to find something
- 23:05that he didn't like. He said he doesn't like my Knick
- 23:07knacks. He didn't.
- 23:08Know. He didn't.
- 23:11He couldn't even come up with a good one.
- 23:13This one he hardly found. So I think what we're going to
- 23:17do now is pause this, take away this ginormous eyesore so that.
- 23:22Masterpiece. I'm sorry a work.
- 23:25Of art. So can we pause it for one
- 23:27minute? So we're back from our minor
- 23:30pause to remove the beautiful work of art and the tiny silly
- 23:34vase so that we could finish our debate.
- 23:38Yes, I'm thinking for again, those who can't view, I hope you
- 23:43actually go and look at this podcast to get a real true
- 23:46understanding of what we're talking about.
- 23:49The one thing is less than 8 inches tall, super small.
- 23:55Maybe that's even put it up there.
- 23:59And the other thing is is like it's larger than a fitting room.
- 24:04It's so huge. Therefore, the awfulness that my
- 24:12eye sees is so much more than what he could possibly see with
- 24:17a vase that he didn't even realize was there that had been
- 24:21there, by the way, like 7 years. So I will say that certainly
- 24:28one, and it would be the picture should be the thing to go.
- 24:33And I understand what you're saying about art and fine art.
- 24:36There might be someone out there who really does appreciate it
- 24:39like me. There might be two people.
- 24:41There might be a household that really, really appreciates it.
- 24:44But in this household, it is not serving its artistic function
- 24:51for the whole household. It's not you're properly
- 24:53appreciated. You're right.
- 24:55So that's my my thought. Well, I would like to point out
- 24:59a few things that I imagine our viewership will side with me on.
- 25:061st, you're right about it's not being properly adored.
- 25:11And because we live together and even though we're going to let
- 25:15the people vote on this, First of all, I just want everyone to
- 25:17know I'm not actually going to get rid of this if you vote
- 25:18against me because you're traitors.
- 25:20But, but I would consider selling it.
- 25:24Not that I need to sell it, I just want to be clear about
- 25:26that. But it probably deserves a
- 25:28better place than in my garage. It probably deserves to be
- 25:31mounted beautifully on someone's Great Wall in their home.
- 25:34Someone who truly loves Star Wars.
- 25:36And the price could be discussed.
- 25:40I don't know what it's worth, but it's a lot.
- 25:43We're not trying to sell our here everybody.
- 25:45I don't know what he's we're. Moving on, I'm just pointing out
- 25:47that it's not being properly appreciated now.
- 25:49Next, other reasons this piece of art that I own should win
- 25:55this debate. One, it's from arguably one of
- 25:59the greatest, if not the greatest film sagas of all time.
- 26:06I don't. I mean, there might be other.
- 26:07It might be. It probably is the greatest film
- 26:09saga of all time. Currently it's at 9 full length
- 26:12movies and I don't know how many spin offs, but there's a bunch
- 26:15of spin offs. Oh my God, you're not falling
- 26:17asleep you liar liar pants on fire.
- 26:21Second, the acquisition of this item came from a friend of mine.
- 26:28OK, and that is one of the reasons I like it so much.
- 26:33It wasn't just something I came upon that I acquired with money.
- 26:37Now, I probably wouldn't have bought it because I would have
- 26:41known that my darling wife would be like, first of all, why did
- 26:44you buy something so big? And second of all, why did you
- 26:46spend money on it? But here we are.
- 26:49So I have this. It's amazing.
- 26:53And there's no way that the thing that one of us actually
- 26:57likes and wants to keep is the thing that should be voted off
- 27:00the island, so to speak. You have a thing that you don't
- 27:04like and want to keep. And when I said, what is this?
- 27:07You said, oh, I bought it. And then when I got home, I
- 27:09realized I didn't like it as much.
- 27:11So I keep it as a reminder to myself to not buy things I don't
- 27:14like. That should be a sufficient
- 27:17enough argument for our guests to decide what to do.
- 27:22OK. For me, case closed.
- 27:25My my base is not awful, it's just not my favorite thing.
- 27:29And I will say you were talking about sentimental stuff.
- 27:33My base serves as a memory of actually going to an antique
- 27:39show with a friend as well. So it also has its purpose there
- 27:45in that. Now, however, I would if that
- 27:49left the house, I would that. You're talking about the
- 27:53painting, which is in that direction, so.
- 27:55Yeah, I would get rid of the vase.
- 27:57Oh yeah, So you would remove art that I enjoy for art that you do
- 28:02not? What a compromise.
- 28:05I think we know what's going on here, people.
- 28:07Compromise is good, but if since we did not say we could
- 28:11compromise and only one could stay, it should be the thing
- 28:15that could go in a vase closet, not something that cannot fit
- 28:20anywhere reasonably. So that was the debate.
- 28:26Mm Hmm. Now you get to vote who won
- 28:29today's match? Comment on the poll and we'll
- 28:32tally responses by by the next episode.
- 28:35This is a bonus episode, so you know, whatever the vote ends up
- 28:38being, it's going to get thrown into another thing, but we'll
- 28:41put on this episode who won and who didn't so it.
- 28:45Does count toward the win loss? Count.
- 28:47Absolutely, Absolutely, absolutely so so.
- 28:52Thank you, then, for all our visitors for watching this
