This week, the lads check in to the Overlook Hotel for a long-overdue stay with The Shining — Stanley Kubrick’s chilling masterpiece of isolation, madness, and malfunctioning typewriters. It may be a little late for Halloween, but there’s never a bad time to talk about axe-wielding writers, eerie twins, and the unmistakable dread that only Kubrick can conjure. From the meticulous set design to Jack Nicholson’s legendary descent into insanity, we dive deep into what makes The Shining one of the most haunting films ever made.
