- 1:39Speaker 2: Meet the Kraken series coming up in just a bit,
- 1:42Speaker 2: recapping matters first off back on Saturday. Not exactly as
- 1:46Speaker 2: planned out of the gate and the sluggish dark cost
- 1:48Speaker 2: the Kraken, dearly falling behind three to nothing, eventually a
- 1:52Speaker 2: hole too deep to climb out of as they fell
- 1:55Speaker 2: five two to the Columbus Blue Jackets and their second
- 1:58Speaker 2: and final matchup at Nationwide Arena, Danton Heinen Damon Severs
- 2:02Speaker 2: said Matthew Olivier Eave scored in the first fifteen minutes
- 2:06Speaker 2: and sixteen seconds of the contest. Vince Dunn got the
- 2:09Speaker 2: Kraken on the board. One oh one later, Coppocaco added
- 2:13Speaker 2: a power play goal, but the Blue Jackets sped away
- 2:16Speaker 2: after that, Kent Johnson's scoring at nine thirty three a
- 2:19Speaker 2: period two, and Cole Sillinger wrapped matters up with an
- 2:23Speaker 2: empty net goal, and the Kraken right now facing a
- 2:26Speaker 2: hole that has gotten a bit deeper now and they're
- 2:28Speaker 2: deficit to catch the second wildcard spot in the Western
- 2:32Speaker 2: Conference playoff race. They stand four points back of the
- 2:35Speaker 2: Nashville Predators and two points back as well of the
- 2:39Speaker 2: Los Angeles Kings. After that, the Kraken spending two days
- 2:43Speaker 2: off in Florida. All around that, on Monday, the ownership

- 2:50Speaker 2: brand new parent brand overseeing the Seattle Kraken Climate Pledgarina
- 2:54Speaker 2: One Roof Foundation, Cracken Community ice Plex, the partnership with
- 2:59Speaker 2: the City of Seattle and Seattle Public Schools. Of course,
- 3:02Speaker 2: in the redevelopment process here of new Memorial Stadium at
- 3:05Speaker 2: Seattle Center, and of course the enterprise's interest in the
- 3:09Speaker 2: American Hockey leagues Coachella Valley Firebirds and Accrasure Arena. The
- 3:14Speaker 2: Umbrella Company will be called One roof Sports and Entertainment.
- 3:18Speaker 2: In a statement Monday, One Room Sports and Entertainment announcing

- 3:58Speaker 2: part of the NHL Globals Series, going down in Helsinki
- 4:01Speaker 2: November twelfth and fourteenth at the famed Vecas Arena. It
- 4:05Speaker 2: will certainly be a magical, memorable and emotional homecoming for
- 4:10Speaker 2: Coppocaco and assuming these days after his contract year, Elie Toulvenen,
- 4:15Speaker 2: along with players such as Sebastian Ajo and Yesperry Coconaemi
- 4:19Speaker 2: on the Hurricanes and don't forget potential prospects could be
- 4:22Speaker 2: breaking through among those here from Coachella Valley Yonnie Newman.
- 4:26Speaker 2: So plenty of potentially loaded storylines coming up here for
- 4:30Speaker 2: this first ever trip of the Kraken overseas into European
- 4:34Speaker 2: in front of a new global audience coming up here
- 4:37Speaker 2: for the NHL Global Series, which has been to parts
- 4:40Speaker 2: such as Germany, Chechia, Sweden and much more. Certainly an
- 4:45Speaker 2: amazing opportunity for the Kraken, the Hurricanes, and the NHL
- 4:49Speaker 2: to expand the game's footprint to places where they don't
- 4:52Speaker 2: get to see much NHL hockey on a live basis. Well,
- 4:56Speaker 2: it was got out and the Kraken reacted Monday in Florida,
- 5:00Speaker 2: beginning before Coppo Coco meeting with the media.
- 5:02Speaker 3: First time there for me with the with the you know,
- 5:05Speaker 3: playing here, so it's it's gonna be nice, I mean
- 5:09Speaker 3: playing in front of my family and friends. So it's
- 5:12Speaker 3: always nice to go back there.
- 5:14Speaker 4: Did you ever have the chance to watch a game
- 5:16Speaker 4: like that when you were growing up at all?
- 5:18Speaker 3: I mean I was, I was never I got there
- 5:21Speaker 3: are and I'm in from TV about I mean, never
- 5:24Speaker 3: never been there. So so I mean now playing it's
- 5:28Speaker 3: it's gonna be more fun. But uh, Yeah, what do
- 5:30Speaker 3: you think.
- 5:31Speaker 4: It means to the community and kind of the hockey
- 5:33Speaker 4: culture there to have the NHL make this a priority.
- 5:37Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it's a it's a big one over there.
- 5:39Speaker 3: You know, they they love hockey. I mean it's kind
- 5:41Speaker 3: of hard to watch NHL because the time difference, so
- 5:45Speaker 3: I mean it's it's easier, and it's it's you know, nice,
- 5:49Speaker 3: nice over there.
- 5:50Speaker 5: Hockey culture. Just how big is that hockey culture in Finland?
- 5:53Speaker 5: And when you were growing up, who are you watching
- 5:55Speaker 5: and trying to emulate your game after?
- 5:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean I woulday from the same city with him,
- 6:01Speaker 3: and then I mean I was always looking looking him,
- 6:04Speaker 3: and I mean ron T didn't play there, He's he's
- 6:06Speaker 3: a couple of years older about it. I mean he
- 6:08Speaker 3: was kind of playing in the in the team where
- 6:10Speaker 3: where I played also, so that was nice to watch him.
- 6:14Speaker 3: And I mean it's it's a you know, big thing.
- 6:16Speaker 3: A lot of a lot of people like likes hockey
- 6:18Speaker 3: over there. I mean the national team, those those games
- 6:21Speaker 3: are big, always in the end of the season, so
- 6:23Speaker 3: I think they're gonna love it.
- 6:24Speaker 4: I know you're obviously not from Helsinki, but what are
- 6:26Speaker 4: you kind of excited to show your teammates like kind
- 6:29Speaker 4: of experience with them and get them all all there.
- 6:32Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean money, Money is asking me all the
- 6:33Speaker 3: time what are we going to do out there? So
- 6:35Speaker 3: I got to set something up. I mean all of
- 6:37Speaker 3: it is from there, so he knows, he knows better.
- 6:39Speaker 3: And then I mean I've been there also, And then
- 6:42Speaker 3: I mean there's a lot of good restaurants there, so
- 6:43Speaker 3: a lot of things we can do, maybe a so
- 6:45Speaker 3: ona or something. So but I mean we still have
- 6:48Speaker 3: a lot of time to set something up.
- 6:51Speaker 4: Guys, got one more for you really quick. On Lars
- 6:53Speaker 4: obviously his one thousandth game tomorrow. What's it been like
- 6:56Speaker 4: for you to kind of come into this team and
- 6:58Speaker 4: get to know him and kind of see his game
- 7:00Speaker 4: now he handles himself over the last two years.
- 7:02Speaker 3: Yeah, great guy, Crede guy was it's been It's been
- 7:05Speaker 3: fun with him. I mean it was always hard to
- 7:07Speaker 3: play against him. He's a pretty good player. I mean
- 7:09Speaker 3: thousand games, you need, you need, you got to be
- 7:12Speaker 3: good to do that. So there's not not too many
- 7:14Speaker 3: players who can who can do it. Then, I mean, yeah,
- 7:17Speaker 3: like I said, funny, funny guy off the eyes, I
- 7:19Speaker 3: mean professional here, you know, like like you gotta do
- 7:22Speaker 3: something right to play a thousand games, so you know,
- 7:26Speaker 3: just try to follow him.
- 7:27Speaker 4: What do you notice about how he kind of takes
- 7:30Speaker 4: care of himself or prepares because he's only in vers
- 7:33Speaker 4: one game in this franchise history, Like, what do you
- 7:35Speaker 4: notice about how he makes that possible?
- 7:37Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean he's taking taking care of like always
- 7:40Speaker 3: stretching off off the eyes, you know, and then he's
- 7:43Speaker 3: playing a lot also, you know, every game, so so
- 7:46Speaker 3: I mean looking at him, he's always like getting ready
- 7:49Speaker 3: for practice and then real pro I would say, so,
- 7:54Speaker 3: so yeah, just try to try to follow and see
- 7:56Speaker 3: what what he's doing to also play that many games.
- 7:59Speaker 2: You can basically mark it down as a once in
- 8:01Speaker 2: a lifetime experience, no exception here. To Elie Tulvanen in
- 8:05Speaker 2: his comments with the media on Monday, you know.
- 8:08Speaker 6: Dream of playing in ANHL game in Finland and have
- 8:12Speaker 6: family friends who are there, uh be able to play,
- 8:15Speaker 6: and he'll sink it too, it's a it's spiritual.
- 8:17Speaker 4: What is the like hockey culture like there? What do
- 8:19Speaker 4: you think the NHL going there will will.
- 8:21Speaker 5: Be like for the folks that live there.
- 8:23Speaker 6: Well, I think it's gonna be huge.
- 8:25Speaker 4: You know.
- 8:25Speaker 6: I remember when I was looking at when I showed
- 8:27Speaker 6: those games. I think it's massive. Everybody. Everybody's really excited
- 8:30Speaker 6: about it. Yeah, I think hockey is uh, you know,
- 8:33Speaker 6: it's a big part of the culture and from them,
- 8:36Speaker 6: you know, they're really passionate about hockey players and the
- 8:38Speaker 6: national team. So you know, I think it's gonna be
- 8:41Speaker 6: really nice to go and uh, you know, be able
- 8:43Speaker 6: to play in front of finished people.
- 8:44Speaker 4: What is it the top of your priority list for
- 8:46Speaker 4: your teammates? Like, what do you think your teammates have
- 8:49Speaker 4: never been their need to.
- 8:50Speaker 6: Experience sami soup, Yeah, go to sauna. Yeah, this experienced
- 8:57Speaker 6: you know. Yeah, I think those are the biggest things.
- 9:01Speaker 7: And now different teams are going It seems like every
- 9:04Speaker 7: couple of years teams are going to hell Sanki or
- 9:07Speaker 7: we're I figured where the Panthers played last park Ops hometown.
- 9:10Speaker 7: But type, Yeah, to be able to go different teams,
- 9:14Speaker 7: it's good to spread the wilf a little bit, right, Yeah.
- 9:16Speaker 3: For sure.
- 9:18Speaker 6: You know, I think it's cool for you know, see
- 9:22Speaker 6: to do teams come in and of course Dampa, I know,
- 9:25Speaker 6: Florida and Dallas being there a lot of Finnish field players,
- 9:28Speaker 6: but you know it's it's I think it's nice to
- 9:30Speaker 6: see different teams too, and you know, got the opportunity
- 9:33Speaker 6: for the finish.
- 9:34Speaker 5: Players to go. There were some of the guys you
- 9:36Speaker 5: looked up to, uh you know when you were growing
- 9:37Speaker 5: up watching in the NHL. Now that you're here in
- 9:39Speaker 5: this league too.
- 9:40Speaker 6: Yeah, well I remember when Anaheim played Team Masanu for sure.
- 9:44Speaker 6: You know, it's one of the biggest starts in Finnish hockey,
- 9:46Speaker 6: so you know he was one of them.
- 9:48Speaker 2: This isn't just for the players, coaches and staff. This
- 9:51Speaker 2: of course is going to be for the fans as well.
- 9:53Speaker 2: And the cool part about this and tour opportunities will
- 9:56Speaker 2: be coming, which will include flights, hotelccommodations, fan and player events,
- 10:02Speaker 2: sightseeing tours, and of course game tickets. AND's interested in
- 10:06Speaker 2: signing up can go to seattlecrackin dot com for more information.
- 10:10Speaker 2: Coming up the Crack and facing Florida for their second
- 10:13Speaker 2: game of the regular season series and looking to run
- 10:16Speaker 2: the table, which would be a big boost here for
- 10:18Speaker 2: two points right back in the direction of a playoff
- 10:22Speaker 2: Berth and the Kraken into Florida to celebrate a milestone
- 10:26Speaker 2: for the Big Cat. Adam Larson set to playing game
- 10:28Speaker 2: number one thousand of his NHL career, previously with New
- 10:33Speaker 2: Jersey Edmonton and now in his fifth season with the
- 10:37Speaker 2: Kraken on their blue line of fixture since the team's
- 10:41Speaker 2: expansion season back in twenty twenty one and twenty two.
- 10:45Speaker 2: But life has certainly in Shane since Larson was a
- 10:47Speaker 2: rookie back in twenty eleven and twelve with a New
- 10:49Speaker 2: Jersey team on their way to the Stanley Cup Final.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Larson and Wye Vera are parents to her daughter, Alba,
- 10:56Speaker 2: born nearly two years ago. When Larson ended his streak
- 10:59Speaker 2: of three hundred and forty three consecutive games in the
- 11:03Speaker 2: NHL lineup, certainly a good reason with family coming first.
- 11:06Speaker 2: And here's Larsen and I mee at the cracking conversation
- 11:09Speaker 2: beginning with the joys of fatherhood and at the stage
- 11:12Speaker 2: of his career, knowing certainly when to gear it up,
- 11:15Speaker 2: but when he leaves the ice, when to gear it down?
- 11:18Speaker 8: Easy to uh to leave howk at the rink? When
- 11:20Speaker 8: you when you get home and you kind of stop
- 11:23Speaker 8: thinking about it, when when you see her and see
- 11:25Speaker 8: your family. So on that aspect has changed a lot.
- 11:29Speaker 9: Als Alba as a sleeper these days.
- 11:31Speaker 8: She's good, she's good. Yeah, that's good news for everybody. Yeah,
- 11:35Speaker 8: a lot of things have happened throughout the summer, so yeah,
- 11:40Speaker 8: I would say, now it's it's going smooth.
- 11:42Speaker 9: So then, what's the best piece of advice that you
- 11:44Speaker 9: could give to any hockey player about to enter the
- 11:47Speaker 9: world of fatherhood.
- 11:50Speaker 8: Well, we're still in the in the early stage, or
- 11:53Speaker 8: probably past the non sleeping face, but now they begin
- 12:00Speaker 8: is always a grind, but it gets better and better,
- 12:03Speaker 8: and now it's it's awesome and I love every second
- 12:07Speaker 8: of it.
- 12:07Speaker 9: How far along are you to think of what kind
- 12:10Speaker 9: of teammates would make a good babysitter?
- 12:15Speaker 8: I don't know. I saw Donner in Cancatia this weekend,
- 12:18Speaker 8: so he looked pretty pre ready for it.
- 12:21Speaker 9: So dun's all set. If you can give me three
- 12:24Speaker 9: names that you would say, Okay, you've got all but
- 12:26Speaker 9: for a few hours, its date and night time for
- 12:28Speaker 9: the wifey and me. Who is most trustworthy?
- 12:31Speaker 8: Well, I would for sure say Ebbs because he has
- 12:34Speaker 8: three already.
- 12:36Speaker 9: He's a veteran more in more ways than one.
- 12:38Speaker 8: Right, Yeah, yeah, who else? Uh? Stevenson has has two,
- 12:46Speaker 8: so I would have to say him and I don't know.
- 12:52Speaker 8: I feel like Maddy would be a good entertainer for
- 12:55Speaker 8: for an hour and a half or something.
- 12:57Speaker 9: Personality.
- 12:57Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah.
- 12:59Speaker 9: Let's go back a bit here. What's the best youth
- 13:00Speaker 9: hockey tournament that you ever played in?
- 13:04Speaker 8: Oh? Wow, we had a lot back home and I
- 13:14Speaker 8: don't know it was. We went on a lot of
- 13:18Speaker 8: fun places with the national team. I don't know if
- 13:20Speaker 8: that counts as a youth tournament. We went to one
- 13:25Speaker 8: under eighteen and Belarus was really fun.
- 13:29Speaker 9: That was the best part about the under eighteen experience, just.
- 13:34Speaker 8: Seeing all the players who played against growing up and
- 13:36Speaker 8: kind of or growing up, I would say just playing
- 13:40Speaker 8: against it was just like, yeah, you get to see
- 13:44Speaker 8: them and get to meet them, get to know them.
- 13:46Speaker 8: So it was a lot of fun to play with
- 13:49Speaker 8: the best.
- 13:50Speaker 9: Adam Larson with us right now, let's go back to
- 13:52Speaker 9: last season a bit. The consistency in your game, Adam
- 13:55Speaker 9: as a trademark eighty two games again you played in
- 13:58Speaker 9: last year. How tough is it to stay healthy as
- 14:01Speaker 9: you gather years upon years in the NHL.
- 14:06Speaker 8: I always say, it's just the way I play too.
- 14:09Speaker 8: It's uh, I need a little bit of luck too
- 14:12Speaker 8: to not get a puck in the wrong place, whatever
- 14:14Speaker 8: it might be. But I put in a lot of
- 14:19Speaker 8: a lot of time at home and a lot of
- 14:23Speaker 8: time in the gym, a lot of time on the
- 14:25Speaker 8: table to kind of stay loose and ready, a lot
- 14:27Speaker 8: of hours in the sauna, hot tub, cold tub. And yeah,
- 14:33Speaker 8: I would say activity for me is what my body
- 14:38Speaker 8: responds best to. And obviously some nights you don't feel great,
- 14:41Speaker 8: but as long as you're healthy enough to play, you'll
- 14:44Speaker 8: play these.
- 14:45Speaker 9: Days in a little bit more stretching, a little more
- 14:47Speaker 9: yoga helps the body out and goes a long way, right, Yeah, Yeah,
- 14:50Speaker 9: the bronze medal, you got to the World Championships. When
- 14:52Speaker 9: the NHL season ends and you still have more to
- 14:55Speaker 9: play for, what does that kind of competition do for
- 14:58Speaker 9: the goals you want to set as a player.
- 15:01Speaker 8: Well, I think every time you have a chance to
- 15:03Speaker 8: represent your country, it's it's a no brainer for me.
- 15:07Speaker 8: And obviously I don't like to end my season in
- 15:11Speaker 8: mid April. It was special this year or too, because
- 15:15Speaker 8: it was at home. I could sleep at home with
- 15:19Speaker 8: my family a couple of nights, so Yeah, it was
- 15:24Speaker 8: just fun to play against the against good teams and
- 15:28Speaker 8: keep playing hockey, and yeah, play with team sweeteness will
- 15:32Speaker 8: lose the fret.
- 15:33Speaker 2: It's often said players would do anything to play just
- 15:36Speaker 2: one game in the NHL when they dream of playing
- 15:39Speaker 2: in the NHL. Adam Larson one of the few who
- 15:42Speaker 2: have played one thousand. That statement will become reality tonight
- 15:47Speaker 2: when the Kraken take on the Florida Panthers in game
- 15:50Speaker 2: three of their six game road trip. The krack and
- 15:53Speaker 2: meanwhile on the ice trying to get healthier, still without
- 15:56Speaker 2: Jaden Schwartz out for the last seven games upper body ailment.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Jared McCann also missing Saturday's game with a lower body
- 16:03Speaker 2: ailment as well, suffering that during warm ups before the
- 16:07Speaker 2: Kraken took on Columbus. Ryan Winterton also out the team,
- 16:11Speaker 2: saying in a statement that'll be taken a temporary leave
- 16:13Speaker 2: of absence to attend to a family matter. No timetable
- 16:17Speaker 2: or further details available. Panthers' injury issues, meanwhile, continue to
- 16:22Speaker 2: grow on their list at a pretty alarming rate. Niko
- 16:25Speaker 2: Mika Lowill missed the remainder of the season, reportedly where
- 16:28Speaker 2: the left knee ailment suffered Friday against Calgary. Other players
- 16:31Speaker 2: that include Sam Reihart undisclosed reasons, Eubus Bleinskis, Mackie Samuskevich,
- 16:37Speaker 2: an Ton Lundell, and Brad marshand placed on LTIR with
- 16:41Speaker 2: an assortment of injuries. Reportedly, his season could be in
- 16:44Speaker 2: jeopardy as the Panthers will be coming home from a
- 16:47Speaker 2: four game road trip, dropping three of those, including their
- 16:50Speaker 2: trip opener in Seattle nine days ago. The Panthers back
- 16:53Speaker 2: home for a relatively brief pit stop. They'll take on
- 16:57Speaker 2: the Minnesota Wild after this on Thursday before getting back
- 17:01Speaker 2: on the road. It has been a very tough season
- 17:03Speaker 2: on their end, fourteen points out of the playoff picture
- 17:06Speaker 2: and getting closer to elimination from defense back to back
- 17:10Speaker 2: Stanley Cup championships. So Game two of the regular season series,
- 17:14Speaker 2: Game three of the road trip coming your way later
- 17:17Speaker 2: on today. Once again we will be on the air
- 17:20Speaker 2: four pm Pacific time for the opening face off, your
- 17:23Speaker 2: pregame show served up by Frost Brewed Corse Light Shows.
- 17:26Speaker 2: Chill is at three thirty. Ever it fits you, Al
