- 1:43Speaker 2: We do have some breaking news as we head into
- 1:47Speaker 2: the weekend. And this is kind of interesting because once again,
- 1:52Speaker 2: you have like the Supreme Court And then you've got
- 1:57Speaker 2: Katani Brown Jackson, the one justice that is just literally
- 2:04Speaker 2: in Cuckooville most of the time. She's like the justice
- 2:09Speaker 2: on the court that is the equivalent of what the
- 2:11Speaker 2: Ninth Circuit used to be. Used to be all of
- 2:13Speaker 2: the crazy, nonsensical decisions that would ever get decided would
- 2:18Speaker 2: always come from the Ninth Circuit because it was dominated
- 2:21Speaker 2: by justices that were put on. First of all, it
- 2:23Speaker 2: has like 27 justices. And it was dominated for a
- 2:27Speaker 2: long time by a single viewpoint that was pretty counter
- 2:32Speaker 2: to anything resembling constitutionality or common sense. But Supreme Court
- 2:37Speaker 2: Justice Katani Brown Jackson was the lone public dissenter in
- 2:41Speaker 2: a decision allowing New Hampshire to block the use of
- 2:45Speaker 2: student ID cards in the upcoming midterm elections. Other justices
- 2:51Speaker 2: on the court cited the longstanding precedent that that lower
- 2:54Speaker 2: federal courts should ordinarily not alter the election rules on
- 3:00Speaker 2: the eve of an election, and said that lower courts
- 3:03Speaker 2: failed to argue that the specific case in New Hampshire
- 3:05Speaker 2: warranted an exception to the tradition. However, Jackson argued the
- 3:11Speaker 2: proximity to an election should not get in the way
- 3:13Speaker 2: of properly applying the law. She said, I respectfully dissent
- 3:18Speaker 2: because even, and perhaps especially when an election is looming,
- 3:22Speaker 2: I would not disturb a clearly justifiable court order issued
- 3:26Speaker 2: to ensure that public receives accurate information about a state's
- 3:29Speaker 2: electoral processes. Here's what the argument is about, and this
- 3:34Speaker 2: is interesting. The underlying dispute stems from a law signed
- 3:38Speaker 2: in April that went into effect in June, striking student
- 3:42Speaker 2: IDs from the list of forms of identification that election
- 3:46Speaker 2: officials can accept when an individual requests a ballot. A
- 3:51Speaker 2: voting rights group sued New Hampshire on the grounds that
- 3:53Speaker 2: the law illegally discriminated against young voters by making it
- 3:56Speaker 2: more difficult for them to vote.
- 3:58Speaker 8: Not.
- 4:00Speaker 2: New Hampshire Secretary of State David Scanlon then issued guidance
- 4:03Speaker 2: saying that the student IDs could not be used to
- 4:06Speaker 2: establish voter identity, even as supporting evidence under the state's
- 4:10Speaker 2: alternative verification procedures. A district judge blocked that portion of
- 4:14Speaker 2: the guidance, arguing it went beyond the scope of the
- 4:17Speaker 2: law itself, which only removed student IDs from the list
- 4:19Speaker 2: of expressly accepted forms. Among the supporters of the guidance
- 4:23Speaker 2: was the Republican National Committee. While Jackson was the lone
- 4:28Speaker 2: public dissenter, it is possible that other justices dissented as well,
- 4:32Speaker 2: but opted to not be named on the court order.
- 4:35Speaker 2: During her roughly four years on the Supreme Court, Jackson
- 4:37Speaker 2: has broken from the rest of her colleagues in areas
- 4:40Speaker 2: such as campaign finance, immigration, and congressional MAP litigations. In 2023,
- 4:45Speaker 2: she was the lone dissenter in an 8-1 ruling allowing
- 4:48Speaker 2: a concrete company to sue striking union workers. She also
- 4:51Speaker 2: stood alone in May 2026, involving federal prisoners seeking to
- 4:56Speaker 2: challenge their convictions through compassionate release. New Hampshire is holding
- 5:01Speaker 2: a handful of close races on Election Day, putting some
- 5:04Speaker 2: weight behind the court's decisions. According to the power rankings,
- 5:08Speaker 2: the state's Senate race... leans Democratic, meaning that liberals have
- 5:13Speaker 2: a slight advantage in a race that could control Congress.
- 5:16Speaker 2: The state's governor's race, meanwhile, is rated as likely going
- 5:19Speaker 2: to the GOP. College students typically favor the Democratic Party,
- 5:23Speaker 2: although it is unclear how many voters will be affected
- 5:25Speaker 2: by the court's ruling. Friends, what is not said in
- 5:29Speaker 2: this story, the copy of this news story, that I
- 5:32Speaker 2: think needs to be said, is that it is painfully
- 5:38Speaker 2: obvious that college students do not require, are not required
- 5:43Speaker 2: to be citizens of the country in order to enroll
- 5:47Speaker 2: in a university. If you're here on a visa, if
- 5:51Speaker 2: you've come here and you've been living in the shadows,
- 5:53Speaker 2: but you got enrolled, there's all kinds of ways that
- 5:58Speaker 2: you can verify citizenship and residency, but a college ID
- 6:05Speaker 2: is not ideal.
- 6:06Speaker 4: No.
- 6:08Speaker 2: And I know this because I went to a school
- 6:10Speaker 2: that was fairly international in flavor. It was a theological
- 6:14Speaker 2: school in the Chicago area. And we had a ton
- 6:18Speaker 2: of students that were from other countries that all had
- 6:21Speaker 2: student IDs, but none of them should have been allowed
- 6:24Speaker 2: to vote in an election involving U.S.
- 6:27Speaker 6: Citizens.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Here's my question. And I want an answer to this.
- 6:32Speaker 2: And it doesn't seem like anybody's willing to give it.
- 6:36Speaker 6: But why....
- 6:38Speaker 2: Is that side of the policy discussion, the Katani Brown Jackson,
- 6:45Speaker 2: the Chuck Schumer, the Hakeem Jeffries, all these guys, why
- 6:55Speaker 2: is that side fighting so hard to not have secure elections?
- 7:06Speaker 2: You can have fraud easily be committed if you have
- 7:10Speaker 2: lax enforcement of what documents are allowed to prove citizenship.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Anybody and their mother-in-law can see that for what it's
- 7:19Speaker 2: worth on paper. It makes total sense.
- 7:23Speaker 6: If I can.
- 7:24Speaker 2: Use a utility bill to say that I'm an American citizen. Well, no,
- 7:30Speaker 2: the utility bill might say that I live in an
- 7:32Speaker 2: address that has nothing to do with my citizenship.
- 7:35Speaker 6: You know what does? A birth certificate? A passport? That's
- 7:42Speaker 6: about it.
- 7:44Speaker 2: If you're not a citizen, you're not allowed to vote.
- 7:49Speaker 2: And you should not be allowed to. If you're not
- 7:52Speaker 2: a citizen, you haven't taken an oath of loyalty to
- 7:56Speaker 2: our country. If you're not a citizen, you haven't said
- 8:01Speaker 2: that you're one of us. If you have come here
- 8:06Speaker 2: and lived off of the benefit of our country, lucky
- 8:09Speaker 2: for you, great for you. But you have not taken
- 8:14Speaker 2: the step to become the citizen. And voting is not
- 8:20Speaker 2: a human right. It is a citizen's right. And it
- 8:24Speaker 2: should be that way. We should not have foreign citizens,
- 8:30Speaker 2: citizens of foreign countries, other countries other than our own,
- 8:34Speaker 2: We should not have them determining America's self-determination. That Katani
- 8:42Speaker 2: Brown Jackson is wholly misguided or attempting to misguide in
- 8:52Speaker 2: her position on this just speaks again to the utter
- 8:58Speaker 2: silliness that her nomination to the court ever represented. She
- 9:03Speaker 2: could not tell you how to define a woman.
- 9:08Speaker 6: She couldn't.
- 9:10Speaker 2: She said it was above her pay grade. Sorry, my
- 9:16Speaker 2: sixth grade daughter can very easily define what a woman
- 9:19Speaker 2: is as compared to her brothers, who can also, by
- 9:23Speaker 2: the way, identify and define a woman properly. It's this
- 9:29Speaker 2: essence of trying to appear wise and but really speaking foolishness,
- 9:37Speaker 2: that is Katani Brown-Jackson's problem. When she should just tell
- 9:42Speaker 2: the truth. Tell the truth. The truth will set you free.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Kevin McCullough coming right back.
- 9:49Speaker 9: Music Here he is from New York.
- 10:11Speaker 6: That Kevin. Kevin McCullough. All right, welcome back. It's Friday.
- 10:31Speaker 2: And as you know, here at the beginning of the show,
- 10:33Speaker 2: we love to put everything, we just hit the brakes
- 10:36Speaker 2: on everything. Say, hold on a second. I know there's
- 10:38Speaker 2: an election. I know there's issues and all kinds of
- 10:40Speaker 2: other stuff that's out there. But right now, the most
- 10:43Speaker 2: important thing we can do is ask the question, how
- 10:46Speaker 2: are we supposed to live as Christians in this culture,
- 10:49Speaker 2: in this moment? And that's what we do at this
- 10:52Speaker 2: point in the show every day. Pastor Rod Caesar, welcome.
- 10:55Speaker 2: The lead pastor at Foundation Church in New York and
- 10:58Speaker 2: his father, Bishop Roderick Caesar, rejoin us as they have,
- 11:03Speaker 2: for the first time ever on How Do We Live,
- 11:05Speaker 2: given us a two-for-one all week long, and it's been
- 11:08Speaker 2: such a joy. And Rod, you focused our thoughts this
- 11:12Speaker 2: week on Romans chapter 12, verse 2 verses. We talked
- 11:16Speaker 2: about what it means to live the transformed life by
- 11:20Speaker 2: being surrendered, by walking in faith. by walking in alignment
- 11:25Speaker 2: with God, which is, is that a fancy phrase for obedience?
- 11:28Speaker 2: It sounds like it's a fancy phrase for obedience, but
- 11:31Speaker 2: that's kind of what I took away from that. And
- 11:34Speaker 2: then yesterday walking in renewal, but today there's a little
- 11:38Speaker 2: bit of fun in this one because it's the hope
- 11:40Speaker 2: that all of it brings about, which is to walk
- 11:42Speaker 2: in victory.
- 11:43Speaker 6: Give us your thoughts.
- 11:44Speaker 10: Yeah, thank you, Kevin, for just setting it up. I'm
- 11:48Speaker 10: grateful and I know my father as well. Grateful to
- 11:50Speaker 10: have been with you throughout this week. Walking in victory
- 11:53Speaker 10: is extremely important, especially for the life of the believer
- 11:57Speaker 10: to understand that through all of the trials, through all
- 12:00Speaker 10: of the difficulties, through all of the frustrations, through all of.
- 12:04Speaker 7: Just the negativity that we may face.
- 12:06Speaker 10: And go through from day to day through the valleys
- 12:09Speaker 10: that we have to travel through, that as we get
- 12:12Speaker 10: to the mountaintops and then back down to the valleys
- 12:15Speaker 10: and the difficult things that take place in life, there
- 12:18Speaker 10: is victory on the other side. victory in Jesus, victory
- 12:22Speaker 10: in understanding that we live transformed.
- 12:25Speaker 7: We walk transformed. We walk with a renewed and transformed mind.
- 12:28Speaker 10: So we are not stuck on the difficult things that
- 12:31Speaker 10: take place while they exist. While we go through them,
- 12:34Speaker 10: we don't go through them with a victim mindset. We
- 12:37Speaker 10: go through them with a victor mindset, knowing that we
- 12:41Speaker 10: have victory through the shed blood and the resurrection of
- 12:44Speaker 10: Jesus Christ. And We understand, as Paul says, we're seated
- 12:47Speaker 10: in heavenly places. There's an already but not yet that
- 12:50Speaker 10: takes place. We have a hope to look forward to
- 12:53Speaker 10: and a hope that we can walk in. And so
- 12:55Speaker 10: that's the result of having a transformed mind is being
- 12:59Speaker 10: able to walk through life victorious no matter what we face.
- 13:03Speaker 6: I love that.
- 13:04Speaker 8: And I would say it's about being an overcomer. Walking
- 13:07Speaker 8: in victory means daily overcoming the battles of life. And
- 13:12Speaker 8: we do it not with our own strength, but with
- 13:14Speaker 8: the strength of God, with the wisdom of God, the
- 13:16Speaker 8: power of God, the might of God. Knowing that God
- 13:19Speaker 8: is with us and God is for us, knowing that
- 13:22Speaker 8: he's ordered our steps, knowing that the angels of the
- 13:24Speaker 8: Lord encamp around about us, makes us know that we
- 13:27Speaker 8: can walk in victory each and every day if we
- 13:30Speaker 8: put our trust, our confidence, and our wisdom in God's
- 13:34Speaker 8: hands and allow him to orchestrate the event. Morning by morning,
- 13:38Speaker 8: new mercies I see, the songwriter said. And we have
- 13:41Speaker 8: to recognize the importance of taking it one day at
- 13:44Speaker 8: a time, one breath at a time. Not trying to
- 13:48Speaker 8: climb the furthest mountain, but climbing the mountain that's here,
- 13:51Speaker 8: which prepares us for the mountain further up the road.
- 13:55Speaker 8: And in doing that, we can walk in victory each
- 13:57Speaker 8: and every day, triumphantly.
- 14:00Speaker 2: I love that observation, Bishop. And it reminds me again,
- 14:03Speaker 2: I mentioned this earlier in the week, but Psalm 27,
- 14:07Speaker 2: the psalmist instructs the reader, the hearer, to fear not.
- 14:14Speaker 2: And if you go into the Hebrew, the expression that
- 14:16Speaker 2: he uses there is kind of like what we would
- 14:19Speaker 2: say today, like, we just don't do fear. And the
- 14:22Speaker 2: reason that we don't do fear is why, as it's
- 14:26Speaker 2: repetitively mentioned throughout all of Scripture, cover to cover, don't fear,
- 14:31Speaker 2: don't fear, fear not, fear not, don't be afraid, do this.
- 14:34Speaker 2: The reason that he always parallels with that instruction, because
- 14:38Speaker 2: I am with you. I am with you. I am
- 14:40Speaker 2: with you. I am with you. God is with us.
- 14:42Speaker 2: He's ever present. And I think as you're talking about
- 14:45Speaker 2: climbing the mountain, and I think about as you're talking
- 14:47Speaker 2: about overcoming, I think there's only one of two outcomes.
- 14:51Speaker 2: You can surrender to fear and give up, or you
- 14:54Speaker 2: can know that he's with you and rely upon him
- 14:57Speaker 2: to go through it and overcome it. And I love
- 15:01Speaker 2: the fact that this is where we get to end
- 15:03Speaker 2: this week because it kind of tells us that the
- 15:06Speaker 2: surrender is that the faith, that the obedience, that the
- 15:11Speaker 2: attempting to bring about renewal, it's all worth it. Because
- 15:15Speaker 2: at the end of the day, God's a promise keeper.
- 15:16Speaker 2: He keeps his word to us, no?
- 15:19Speaker 7: Amen, amen, yeah, for sure.
- 15:21Speaker 8: Absolutely. And we walk by faith. The key lesson that
- 15:26Speaker 8: we have to learn each and every day is that
- 15:28Speaker 8: it's a walk of faith. We have a tendency to
- 15:31Speaker 8: rely on our five senses for everything. And when we
- 15:35Speaker 8: do that, we defeat the purposes of God because God
- 15:37Speaker 8: is above these five senses.
- 15:40Speaker 6: No, it's true.
- 15:41Speaker 10: Yeah, and it's also kind of a win-win situation.
- 15:47Speaker 11: Oh, sorry, go ahead, go ahead.
- 15:49Speaker 8: No, no, I'm done.
- 15:51Speaker 10: No, I was saying it's kind of a win-win situation
- 15:54Speaker 10: with the victory mindset because it truly is to be
- 15:57Speaker 10: transformed by the renewing of your mind because we have
- 16:00Speaker 10: to think of our circumstances differently.
- 16:03Speaker 7: As Paul writes, to live is Christ, to die is gain.
- 16:06Speaker 10: You know, he's saying, I want to be able to
- 16:09Speaker 10: stay here and do ministry a bit longer.
- 16:13Speaker 7: And if I do that, that's great, you know, to
- 16:15Speaker 7: live is Christ. But if the alternate happens, if I
- 16:19Speaker 7: am taken from this earth to.
- 16:21Speaker 10: Die is gain, that is the focal point of a
- 16:25Speaker 10: transformed mindset to realize, listen, I can stay here and
- 16:29Speaker 10: do what the Lord's called me to do. I can
- 16:31Speaker 10: stay here and go through the things that I'm called
- 16:33Speaker 10: to go through, the good things and the difficult things.
- 16:37Speaker 10: And I know how to be content because I can
- 16:39Speaker 10: do all things through Christ. But then also at the
- 16:41Speaker 10: end of the day, when I close my eyes in
- 16:43Speaker 10: this life and open them in eternity, I know I
- 16:46Speaker 10: have gained Christ. So it's a win-win situation for the
- 16:49Speaker 10: life of the believer. And that is really everything that
- 16:53Speaker 10: the transformed mind can continue to rest on. Yeah.
- 16:57Speaker 8: Yes, and that reminds me of a song that we
- 16:59Speaker 8: sang years ago. Turn your eyes upon Jesus. Look full
- 17:03Speaker 8: in his wonderful face. And the things of the earth
- 17:06Speaker 8: will grow strangely dim in the light of his glory
- 17:09Speaker 8: and his grace. That's really what we have to do.
- 17:12Speaker 8: We have to have a new vision.
- 17:13Speaker 2: You're hitting me on something extremely personal. You don't even
- 17:16Speaker 2: realize it. But when I was in high school, I
- 17:20Speaker 2: was a junior. My mom had been diagnosed with cancer
- 17:24Speaker 2: and had had it for two years, and we lost
- 17:27Speaker 2: her December 7th, 1987. She was born July of 1947,
- 17:34Speaker 2: so she lived 40 years, battled cancer for two years.
- 17:38Speaker 2: We had a number of people tell her that if
- 17:44Speaker 2: she was more godly, if she had more faith, if
- 17:47Speaker 2: she just believed more, that the cancer would be gone.
- 17:53Speaker 2: And Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus was her favorite song, Bishop.
- 17:59Speaker 2: And the night, when she was going down the final
- 18:02Speaker 2: few weeks that she was with us, we got called
- 18:07Speaker 2: from the hospice several times.
- 18:08Speaker 6: Tonight's the night. Bring everybody.
- 18:10Speaker 2: And that happened probably six times. The woman just would not,
- 18:14Speaker 2: she just did not want to leave. She was going
- 18:16Speaker 2: to fight to the end. But I remember the night
- 18:20Speaker 2: that she didn't. passed from this life into the next,
- 18:25Speaker 2: that we sang that song together. And she, one of
- 18:31Speaker 2: the things that she just kind of whispered in my
- 18:33Speaker 2: ear in those final weeks was, victory is not what
- 18:39Speaker 2: everybody else thinks it is. I will be healed. I'm
- 18:44Speaker 2: going to be healed the moment that I'm in God's presence.
- 18:47Speaker 2: And that's always stuck with me that victory sometimes to
- 18:52Speaker 2: our eyes looks like one thing. And so often in
- 18:54Speaker 2: God's economy, it looks like something else.
- 18:56Speaker 8: Quite true. It's our perspective.
- 19:00Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 19:01Speaker 8: The brilliance of a diamond, the brilliance of a diamond
- 19:04Speaker 8: changes when you move from one location to the next,
- 19:08Speaker 8: because the light goes into the diamond and refracts and
- 19:11Speaker 8: comes back out. And the beauty and the brilliance of
- 19:14Speaker 8: the diamond changes. changes and intensifies when you move it
- 19:19Speaker 8: or you twist it turn it around in the light
- 19:22Speaker 8: and that's the way our lives are from different perspectives
- 19:25Speaker 8: in life we shine brighter and brighter and the closer
- 19:30Speaker 8: you get to heaven the brighter the light should shine
- 19:33Speaker 8: if you've been walking in obedience and submission to the
- 19:35Speaker 8: will of god yeah and the one thing that we
- 19:37Speaker 8: have to learn kevin the one thing we have to
- 19:40Speaker 8: learn is that god is sovereign His plan is perfect.
- 19:45Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 19:46Speaker 8: And even if we don't understand it, it's still perfect
- 19:48Speaker 8: because he's god and in him there's no shadow of
- 19:52Speaker 8: turning there's no doubt yeah there's no indecisiveness there's no
- 19:56Speaker 8: imperfection everything he does as.
- 19:59Speaker 2: Well well that's where we're going to bring this discussion
- 20:02Speaker 2: to a close this week uh a transformed life by
- 20:05Speaker 2: walking surrendered by walking by faith by walking in alignment
- 20:08Speaker 2: by walking in renewal and walking in victory. Pastor Rod,
- 20:11Speaker 2: thank you for instigating this discussion. And Bishop, thank you
- 20:15Speaker 2: for having it with us. Bishop, I'm going to ask
- 20:18Speaker 2: you to stick around just a few minutes more because
- 20:20Speaker 2: I want to ask you some things. As you're celebrating
- 20:23Speaker 2: your 80th birthday and doing these bus tours and having
- 20:27Speaker 2: fun in the next couple of weeks, it struck me
- 20:30Speaker 2: last night that I want to ask you a few
- 20:32Speaker 2: questions about a life lived in ministry. And we'll do
- 20:35Speaker 2: that on the other side of this break.
- 20:37Speaker 6: Don't go anywhere.
- 20:47Speaker 13: Stick around for more of That Kevin next.
- 20:54Speaker 14: Here he is from New York.
- 21:11Speaker 6: That Kevin.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Kevin McCullough. Kevin McCullough, glad to have you with us.
- 21:23Speaker 2: It's the Friday edition. And I don't often get to
- 21:26Speaker 2: do this, but sometimes with people that have had massive
- 21:29Speaker 2: impact on my life, when I do get a chance
- 21:32Speaker 2: to sit down and interview them, sometimes I like to
- 21:35Speaker 2: ask them five very specific questions. So Bishop Roderick Caesar
- 21:39Speaker 2: and his son Rod are still with us. We just
- 21:41Speaker 2: finished up How Do We Live for the Week. But Bishop,
- 21:44Speaker 2: as I reflect upon your ministry in my life, It's been, well,
- 21:50Speaker 2: 25 years or so that you've.
- 21:53Speaker 6: Been impacting me.
- 21:54Speaker 2: And as you have retired from formal ministry in the
- 21:59Speaker 2: sense of being the lead pastor at your church, you're
- 22:02Speaker 2: still very, very busy. And you've encouraged a handoff to
- 22:07Speaker 2: the next generation there at Foundation. And I want to
- 22:10Speaker 2: ask you a few things. So here's the first one.
- 22:13Speaker 2: We live in a generation where visibility and influence and
- 22:17Speaker 2: social media are can oftentimes be mistaken for spiritual authority.
- 22:24Speaker 2: From your perspective, having lived the life you've lived, how
- 22:27Speaker 2: does a young man or woman distinguish between genuinely being
- 22:31Speaker 2: called by God to pastor or simply being attracted to
- 22:35Speaker 2: the platform of what ministry looks like? From your perspective.
- 22:39Speaker 8: From my perspective, it's important to get a word from
- 22:46Speaker 8: the Lord.
- 22:46Speaker 14: Hmm.
- 22:48Speaker 8: We mistake the popular voice of the crowd to be
- 22:52Speaker 8: the voice of the Lord. And we make a mistake
- 22:55Speaker 8: when we do that because his ways are not our ways.
- 22:58Speaker 8: His thoughts are not our thoughts. And we don't get
- 23:00Speaker 8: our messages from the crowd. We get our messages when
- 23:04Speaker 8: we're alone with God in that secret place and give
- 23:06Speaker 8: him an opportunity to speak into our hearts and lives.
- 23:09Speaker 8: So I am challenged by people who are called and
- 23:14Speaker 8: commissioned and released from industry because of their popularity. It
- 23:21Speaker 8: has a tendency to make people rely more on their
- 23:24Speaker 8: ability than on God's ability. And many people who we
- 23:30Speaker 8: like and we have reasons for liking them. And usually
- 23:34Speaker 8: it's because they tell us what we want to hear.
- 23:36Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 23:37Speaker 8: So I don't have a lot of confidence in that.
- 23:41Speaker 8: And I ask, at the end of the day, do
- 23:44Speaker 8: we have a word from the Lord? And it's surprising
- 23:48Speaker 8: how many people have no answer for that question after
- 23:51Speaker 8: pontificating and everything else. They have no true answer for
- 23:56Speaker 8: that question. Do we have a word from the Lord?
- 23:59Speaker 8: And if we don't have that word from the Lord,
- 24:01Speaker 8: then I dismiss it.
- 24:03Speaker 2: Oh, so that's fairly... straight to the point. I appreciate that.
- 24:08Speaker 2: Second question. You've seen a lot of changes in the
- 24:11Speaker 2: church and the American culture. What do you believe your
- 24:15Speaker 2: generation of spiritual leaders, people like yourself, must intentionally pass
- 24:20Speaker 2: down to the next generation of pastors? And what mistakes
- 24:24Speaker 2: should we encourage them not to repeat?
- 24:27Speaker 8: The church is not a political institution. It's a divine
- 24:31Speaker 8: institution called by God to lead his people and and
- 24:35Speaker 8: to give them a foundation from which to expand ministry.
- 24:40Speaker 8: We need to stop trying to be political pundits, and
- 24:44Speaker 8: we need to stop trying to fit everything that happens
- 24:46Speaker 8: in society into a scripture that accommodates our way of thinking.
- 24:51Speaker 8: We need to understand that God is so far above
- 24:54Speaker 8: us that it's impossible for us to have the comprehensive
- 24:58Speaker 8: and complete mind of.
- 24:59Speaker 7: God in any situation.
- 25:01Speaker 8: So what we do is we Walk by faith day
- 25:05Speaker 8: by day. We trust God. And we look for God
- 25:08Speaker 8: not only in the marketplace, but also in the secret place.
- 25:12Speaker 8: And there has to be a consensus of what God
- 25:15Speaker 8: is saying. And it must agree with Scripture. If you
- 25:18Speaker 8: can't put it in the context of Scripture, and I
- 25:21Speaker 8: say the context of Scripture, not just extrapolating a verse
- 25:25Speaker 8: or two to agree with your way of thinking. It
- 25:28Speaker 8: has to be contextual. And if you put it in
- 25:30Speaker 8: the context of Scripture... you have a more accurate picture
- 25:34Speaker 8: of where we are, where we should be, and how
- 25:37Speaker 8: we should get there. We can't lose sight of the
- 25:40Speaker 8: fact that God speaks today as much as he's ever spoken.
- 25:44Speaker 8: He's speaking very loudly today. And we only hear segments
- 25:48Speaker 8: of what he's saying because we're only looking for segments.
- 25:50Speaker 8: We're looking for agreement. We're not looking for truth in
- 25:54Speaker 8: the inward parts. We're not looking to be convicted. We're
- 25:58Speaker 8: looking to convict. We're not looking... to be changed. We
- 26:03Speaker 8: are looking to change. We are looking to control rather
- 26:08Speaker 8: than to be controlled by the Spirit. And because we're
- 26:12Speaker 8: looking in the wrong places, we don't find what we're
- 26:14Speaker 8: looking for. Or when we do, it's the synthesis of
- 26:17Speaker 8: the real thing because God is waiting for us to
- 26:20Speaker 8: wake up and smell the coffee and realize what time
- 26:22Speaker 8: it is.
- 26:23Speaker 12: Wow.
- 26:24Speaker 6: That is a word.
- 26:27Speaker 2: Okay, question three. Pastoring can be a pretty lonely assignment.
- 26:33Speaker 2: Lots of pressure on marriage, family, finances, personal faith, a
- 26:39Speaker 2: lot of stuff the congregation never sees. What would you
- 26:42Speaker 2: tell a young pastor, and maybe you have told a
- 26:44Speaker 2: young pastor who's sitting there next to you right now,
- 26:47Speaker 2: what would you tell a young pastor about surviving the
- 26:49Speaker 2: seasons when the calling is certain, but the encouragement is rare?
- 26:55Speaker 8: I would say that you don't look for encouragement from
- 27:01Speaker 8: people you look for compliance to the word that God
- 27:06Speaker 8: has called you to preach we validate ourselves on the
- 27:12Speaker 8: crowd and their response to what we have to say
- 27:16Speaker 8: if you preach a sermon and you don't get any
- 27:18Speaker 8: amens you consider yourself at Sunday but the amens don't
- 27:24Speaker 8: come and validate you many times it's the entertainment value
- 27:29Speaker 8: that gets you the amens And what we have to
- 27:33Speaker 8: do is simplify it and bring it down to the
- 27:39Speaker 8: most basic element.
- 27:41Speaker 6: I love that. Don't go anywhere.
- 28:08Speaker 12: Here he is, from New York, that Kevin, Kevin McCullough.
- 28:18Speaker 2: We're watching younger generations become increasingly skeptical about what they
- 28:23Speaker 2: term organized religion, even while many remain supposedly spiritually curious.
- 28:29Speaker 2: From your perspective, what must the next generation of shepherds
- 28:33Speaker 2: understand about reaching people who may be interested in Jesus
- 28:36Speaker 2: and but don't have any trust in the institutional church.
- 28:42Speaker 8: We need to let them know it's above the church.
- 28:45Speaker 8: My key is to give them the word and encourage
- 28:48Speaker 8: them to investigate it for themselves. When I was actively
- 28:52Speaker 8: involved in pastoring, I used to say to our congregation
- 28:55Speaker 8: at least once a month, don't trust me to tell
- 28:59Speaker 8: you the truth. Validate me by going and examining the
- 29:02Speaker 8: word of God for yourself and finding out that I'm
- 29:05Speaker 8: in agreement with scripture. Don't allow me to be your.
- 29:11Speaker 12: Mouthpiece.
- 29:13Speaker 8: Get to know God for yourself. And if I am wrong,
- 29:16Speaker 8: call me in on it and give me an opportunity
- 29:19Speaker 8: to defend myself. And if I cannot defend myself, then
- 29:23Speaker 8: it means that there needs to be a change. And
- 29:26Speaker 8: if I continue to preach in heresy or in things
- 29:29Speaker 8: that are not true, it may be that it's time
- 29:32Speaker 8: for you to get a new pastor. Do not allow
- 29:34Speaker 8: me to stay in the pulpit and preach whatever I
- 29:37Speaker 8: want to preach and get away with it. because it
- 29:40Speaker 8: weakens the foundation of the church and it gives the
- 29:43Speaker 8: critics an opportunity to show clearly that it's what we've
- 29:48Speaker 8: done rather than what we say God is doing. And
- 29:51Speaker 8: we bring great harm to the body of Christ when
- 29:54Speaker 8: we give that kind of freedom to people. Yeah.
- 29:57Speaker 2: The shepherds have to be preaching the Word. They have
- 30:00Speaker 2: to get them into Scripture as often as possible.
- 30:02Speaker 8: Exactly. And what I used to do as well is
- 30:07Speaker 8: give the congregation homework. I would tell them what book
- 30:11Speaker 8: to read, what chapter to read, what to look for,
- 30:15Speaker 8: and I would call them in the next Sunday. How
- 30:18Speaker 8: many did the homework assignment? I had to get them
- 30:22Speaker 8: in the Word. When you have a voice that is
- 30:27Speaker 8: accepted by the people, it's a tremendous responsibility not to
- 30:31Speaker 8: use that voice to expand your own kingdom, but to
- 30:34Speaker 8: expand the kingdom of God. And I did that consistently
- 30:38Speaker 8: by encouraging them to read the word, read the word,
- 30:42Speaker 8: read the word, read the word. And I even suggested
- 30:47Speaker 8: to them from time to time what methods to study.
- 30:53Speaker 8: and how to apply it so that they would learn
- 30:56Speaker 8: for themselves.
- 30:57Speaker 2: Imagine that you're sitting across a table from a 25-year-old
- 31:02Speaker 2: pastor who's finished seminary, started doing his thing, genuinely loves Jesus,
- 31:07Speaker 2: believes the Bible, is ready to give his entire life
- 31:10Speaker 2: to serve God's people. You get to place one conviction
- 31:14Speaker 2: into that pastor's heart that you hope will sustain him
- 31:18Speaker 2: for the next 40 years. What is that conviction? What
- 31:22Speaker 2: would it be and why?
- 31:24Speaker 8: The conviction would be, number one, it's not about you.
- 31:27Speaker 8: Always bear witness to that fact. You're a vessel. The
- 31:31Speaker 8: vessel in the hands of the artist or the one
- 31:35Speaker 8: who's been assigned to use it is where it gets
- 31:39Speaker 8: its function and its purpose. But ministry is not about you.
- 31:43Speaker 8: That's number one. The second part of that question.
- 31:46Speaker 2: What would that conviction be and why is that so important?
- 31:50Speaker 8: It's important because we build empires of our own that
- 31:55Speaker 8: focus on who we are. And we put ourselves at
- 31:59Speaker 8: the center of that universe. And we become kings of
- 32:03Speaker 8: a castle that God didn't ordain. Lords of the land
- 32:07Speaker 8: that God calls for himself that we claim as ours.
- 32:12Speaker 8: We claim cities. God has given me this city. You
- 32:15Speaker 8: can barely handle the congregation that shows up on Sunday morning,
- 32:19Speaker 8: much less the city. So we have to be honest
- 32:23Speaker 8: and true to ourselves and recognize it's not about us.
- 32:27Speaker 8: I could die today, but the work of God goes on.
- 32:30Speaker 8: I could die in my 20s, 30s. The work of
- 32:33Speaker 8: God goes on because it's bigger than we are. And
- 32:36Speaker 8: if we're true to the word, then it's like running
- 32:39Speaker 8: a race. We pass the baton to the runner who's
- 32:41Speaker 8: behind us or in front of us, and he grabs
- 32:45Speaker 8: the baton and runs his leg of the race. And
- 32:49Speaker 8: we win by being in the right place at the
- 32:53Speaker 8: right time, doing the right thing for the right person
- 32:55Speaker 8: and the right cause. And if we're willing to do that,
- 32:59Speaker 8: then we can survive the critique that comes from people
- 33:03Speaker 8: who say we should be doing this, that, or the other.
- 33:06Speaker 8: Because we have prognosticators all day who try to tell
- 33:09Speaker 8: us where we should be in ministry, what we should
- 33:11Speaker 8: be saying, who we should be associating with, and everything else.
- 33:16Speaker 8: But we need a word from the Lord. We need
- 33:19Speaker 8: to follow that word. We need to recognize it's not
- 33:21Speaker 8: about us. It's about Christ. And at the end of
- 33:25Speaker 8: the day, have I run the race effectively? Have I
- 33:29Speaker 8: run the race according to God's word and God's will?
- 33:32Speaker 7: If so....
- 33:34Speaker 8: Turn off the voice of the crowd and listen to
- 33:36Speaker 8: the voice of the Lord. Continue to follow his instructions.
- 33:40Speaker 2: That's such good stuff. Bishop, I said that was the
- 33:43Speaker 2: last one. This is actually the last one. What's the
- 33:46Speaker 2: passage of scripture that you have tattooed on your mind, heart,
- 33:52Speaker 2: soul that pulls you through anything and everything? And what
- 33:56Speaker 2: is special about that text?
- 33:58Speaker 8: Psalm 103, verse 1. Bless the Lord, O my soul,
- 34:01Speaker 8: and all that is within me. Bless his holy name.
- 34:04Speaker 8: It speaks of giving God everything. And then if you
- 34:08Speaker 8: read on in Psalm 103, it tells you the various
- 34:11Speaker 8: things that he does for us. He forgives all of
- 34:14Speaker 8: our sins. He heals all of our bodies. He redeems
- 34:18Speaker 8: our life from destruction. He crowns us with loving kindness
- 34:21Speaker 8: and tender mercies. He renews our strength. And it goes
- 34:25Speaker 8: on to point to the comprehensive approach to what God
- 34:30Speaker 8: is doing in our lives. and what he wants to do.
- 34:33Speaker 8: So when I'm down, it picks me up. When I'm discouraged,
- 34:36Speaker 8: it encourages me. When I'm seeking direction, I know where
- 34:39Speaker 8: to go. I know the source of my strength and
- 34:42Speaker 8: my help and my power and my peace and victory.
- 34:45Speaker 8: It comes from the Lord. And Psalm 103 verse 1
- 34:48Speaker 8: is the verse that I've been attached to for more
- 34:52Speaker 8: years than I can remember. And it's one that brings
- 34:54Speaker 8: me great consolation in the midst of the challenges of life. Yeah,
- 34:58Speaker 8: it is.
- 34:59Speaker 2: Well, Bishop, From a grateful radio family that have been
- 35:04Speaker 2: ministered to you from you for many, many years. Thank
- 35:08Speaker 2: you for your faithfulness. Please have a celebration to end
- 35:13Speaker 2: all celebrations on the 6th as you have the concert.
- 35:18Speaker 2: And I hope that you enjoy those bus tours. I've
- 35:20Speaker 2: never known that you've done those. I would I would
- 35:23Speaker 2: die to do one of those with you because I
- 35:25Speaker 2: think it would be so interesting to hear you narrate
- 35:29Speaker 2: our beloved city. But we'll have to set that date
- 35:32Speaker 2: for some time in the future. But it's just been
- 35:34Speaker 2: a real pleasure to have you and Rod as well.
- 35:37Speaker 2: Thank you both for spending the week with us. We're
- 35:39Speaker 2: very grateful.
- 35:40Speaker 7: Thank you so much.
- 35:42Speaker 6: All right. Kevin McCullough, we're coming back from New York.
- 35:44Speaker 6: Don't go away.
- 35:47Speaker 13: Stick around for more of That Kevin next. Serving it
- 36:02Speaker 13: up with a no-drink minimum. It's That Kevin Show. Kevin McCullough,
- 36:10Speaker 13: glad to have you with us.
- 36:12Speaker 2: Final few thoughts for this period of time together, friends,
- 36:15Speaker 2: about Christian Solidarity International and why it's so important. Look,
- 36:19Speaker 2: I'm never going to apologize for asking you to give
- 36:23Speaker 2: to great causes.
- 36:24Speaker 6: I have told you that from the beginning.
- 36:25Speaker 2: This is part of my expression of gratitude back to
- 36:28Speaker 2: God for the honor and the privilege and the humble
- 36:32Speaker 2: coolness that it is to get to do what I
- 36:34Speaker 2: do for a living every day. And it wouldn't be
- 36:36Speaker 2: possible had he not said, this is what I'm calling
- 36:38Speaker 2: you to. But because of that, I want to use
- 36:41Speaker 2: a portion of this platform every single day for his
- 36:44Speaker 2: glory and to do things that advance his kingdom. And
- 36:47Speaker 2: Todd Chapman is back with us from Christian Solidarity International.
- 36:50Speaker 2: And Todd, as I have had the chance to not
- 36:53Speaker 2: just advocate for CSI on the air over the years,
- 36:57Speaker 2: but to get to know the organization and to see
- 36:59Speaker 2: how it operates and to understand the biblical efficiency with
- 37:03Speaker 2: which they take their stewardship and the extreme care that
- 37:07Speaker 2: is taken with every gift that is given and the
- 37:09Speaker 2: integrity behind all of that, I have to say, not
- 37:12Speaker 2: only are they doing incredible things, they're one of the
- 37:14Speaker 2: best organizations I've ever had the chance to be part of.
- 37:17Speaker 2: And that's why I continue to sing their praises long
- 37:20Speaker 2: after we're not on the air anymore. Like, this is
- 37:22Speaker 2: one of my passion organizations that I really, really mean
- 37:27Speaker 2: it when I say this. I believe that they are
- 37:28Speaker 2: doing God's work in every aspect.
- 37:32Speaker 5: Yeah, I kind of feel like it's David against Goliath
- 37:36Speaker 5: in a lot of ways.
- 37:37Speaker 11: We're not a big organization. Many people have never heard
- 37:41Speaker 11: of us.
- 37:41Speaker 5: Every time we do a radio campaign, and you may
- 37:45Speaker 5: be hearing about CSI, Christian Solidarity International, for the very
- 37:49Speaker 5: first time. But man, just because God has just blessed us,
- 37:54Speaker 5: and that's because we're just committed to doing what he
- 37:56Speaker 5: says in his word, which is to set captives free,
- 37:59Speaker 5: and inviting other people to do that. And so over
- 38:01Speaker 5: the past You know, 30 plus years over, get this friends, over,
- 38:05Speaker 5: and this is not me boasting on CSI, this is
- 38:08Speaker 5: me boasting on God. And boasting on our generous donors
- 38:11Speaker 5: that have made this possible. Over 160,000 human beings freed
- 38:18Speaker 5: from captivity, yes, but also the worst possible abuse that
- 38:21Speaker 5: you could imagine.
- 38:23Speaker 11: Verbal, physical, psychological, sexual.
- 38:26Speaker 5: I mean, any form of abuse that a human being
- 38:28Speaker 5: can endure, these slaves have been subjected to that. And
- 38:31Speaker 5: it's gone on for decades. And also children now have
- 38:35Speaker 5: been born into that. And I'm really excited about that
- 38:38Speaker 5: because if you free a mom right now, more than
- 38:40Speaker 5: ever before, we've been able to negotiate not just the
- 38:42Speaker 5: freedom of the mom, but the freedom of a child.
- 38:45Speaker 5: So for $ 250... man, you can liberate two human beings,
- 38:49Speaker 5: one that has already endured decades of abuse, but one
- 38:52Speaker 5: that if we don't get them free, we'll also suffer that.
- 38:56Speaker 11: Yeah, we're preventing that. So, it's so beautiful.
- 38:59Speaker 5: I just wanted to real quickly give you a little encouragement.
- 39:01Speaker 5: I'm looking at Isaiah 61.1, and what you're invited to
- 39:04Speaker 5: do right now checks every box in this verse.
- 39:07Speaker 11: Check this out.
- 39:08Speaker 5: The Spirit of the Lord God is on me because
- 39:10Speaker 5: the Lord has anointed me to Bring good news to
- 39:12Speaker 5: the afflicted. Send me to bind up the brokenhearted, to
- 39:15Speaker 5: proclaim liberty to the captives, check, and freedom to prisoners.
- 39:19Speaker 5: Hands going up in heaven for every gift that you give,
- 39:22Speaker 5: because that's another human being freed.
- 39:23Speaker 6: 888-342-1010 is the number where that takes place.
- 39:25Speaker 7: 888-342-1010.
- 39:31Speaker 2: And you may be saying, well, Kev, why wouldn't they
- 39:33Speaker 2: liberate the kids if the moms are being liberated? Well,
- 39:36Speaker 2: the slave master views that child who he impregnated the
- 39:40Speaker 2: slave with as his property too.
- 39:42Speaker 11: Kind of theirs, yeah.
- 39:43Speaker 2: And so the idea that we're able to... talk him
- 39:47Speaker 2: out of a future generation of a slave, which if
- 39:49Speaker 2: it's a young boy is a very valuable thing to
- 39:52Speaker 2: his calculations, is a God thing. And it did not
- 39:56Speaker 2: happen for many, many years that I was involved with CSI.
- 39:59Speaker 2: It has begun happening over the last two to three years,
- 40:02Speaker 2: and we couldn't be more excited about it because it
- 40:05Speaker 2: saves every one of those kids from that horrific future themselves.
- 40:09Speaker 10: 888-342-1010, 888-342-1010.
- 40:14Speaker 2: If you want to know more, go to thatkevinshow.com. Click

- 40:28Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 40:43Speaker 14: We don't have.
- 40:45Speaker 6: That, so we have That Kevin Show.
- 41:13Speaker 1: Featuring the music of Dick Tunney and the Dream in
- 41:17Speaker 1: Color Orchestra. Straight ahead, everything you need to know about
- 41:30Speaker 1: the top headlines of the day and a perspective that
- 41:34Speaker 1: will give you some eternity to it, plus practical tips
- 41:38Speaker 1: for family life, spiritual life, and good old regular life.
- 41:43Speaker 1: It's Kevin McCullough, Monday through Friday, on That Kevin Show.
- 41:54Speaker 1: And now, from the Connors & Sullivan Broadcast Studios, the
- 41:58Speaker 1: man who is not what he wants to be, but
- 42:01Speaker 1: is way grateful that he's not who.
- 42:04Speaker 6: He used to be, here.
- 42:12Speaker 6: All right, Kevin McCullough, thanking you for being here.
- 42:15Speaker 2: We've got a lot to get to in the news
- 42:17Speaker 2: hour this hour coming up. And thank you to those
- 42:20Speaker 2: of you that are helping us liberate those slaves. It's
- 42:24Speaker 2: making a difference. And already 36 human individuals have been
- 42:29Speaker 2: given freedom because of your efforts this year. So we're
- 42:32Speaker 2: just going to keep plugging away until we get to
- 42:35Speaker 2: all 230 taken care of. This is a little bit
- 42:39Speaker 2: of an uh-oh for Elon Omar. Another Fox News alert.
- 42:43Speaker 4: According to two people familiar with the investigation, Ilhan Omar
- 42:47Speaker 4: isn't even her real name.
- 42:49Speaker 6: So who is she?
- 42:51Speaker 4: Ilhan Nur Saeed Elmi.
- 42:54Speaker 6: That's big.
- 42:56Speaker 4: Because in Somalia, a name shows your family tree on
- 43:00Speaker 4: your father's side. You get your own name, then you
- 43:03Speaker 4: get your father's, then your grandfather's. So the names after
- 43:07Speaker 4: Ilhan confirm who her father is and who her siblings are.
- 43:12Speaker 4: But Omar's dad served in the Somali military under the
- 43:16Speaker 4: name Nur Saeed.
- 43:18Speaker 6: Ring a bell? It should.
- 43:20Speaker 4: Her ex-husband is Ahmed Nur Saeed Elmi. That's the man
- 43:27Speaker 4: a lot of people suspect is her brother.
- 43:29Speaker 2: That's from yesterday. Just some more of the problems that
- 43:35Speaker 2: Ilhan Omar is having. But again, her name is not
- 43:39Speaker 2: Ilhan Omar. It's Ilan Nur Saeed Elmi. And her brother
- 43:49Speaker 2: is her brother, Nur Saeed Elmi. This is raising still
- 43:54Speaker 2: even more questions in Congress and whether she gets deported
- 43:57Speaker 2: from the country or not. Maybe it may still be
- 44:00Speaker 2: undecided yet. They're going to have to look at the
- 44:02Speaker 2: legalities of what she's done. But there are now congressional
- 44:08Speaker 2: members trying to get her to be expelled from Congress.
- 44:18Speaker 2: Randy Fine, who is a congressman from Florida, says, I
- 44:21Speaker 2: assume that she's not a citizen, so we might not
- 44:23Speaker 2: even have to do that. You can't be in Congress
- 44:25Speaker 2: if you're not a citizen of the United States. But
- 44:28Speaker 2: if it isn't automatic, I absolutely will demand that she
- 44:31Speaker 2: be expelled immediately. She is a naturalized citizen, born in Somalia,
- 44:37Speaker 2: and became a U.S. citizen in 2000. She's denied any
- 44:40Speaker 2: wrongdoing and called the investigation politically motivated. She also got
- 44:45Speaker 2: Barack Obama to run around and say to people that
- 44:47Speaker 2: it was politically motivated as well. The problem here, though,
- 44:51Speaker 2: this is going to be hard to prove that it's
- 44:53Speaker 2: politically motivated if she's in actual legal jeopardy. Like, if
- 44:57Speaker 2: she's not even allowed to be a congresswoman because her
- 45:01Speaker 2: status is drawn into question because she just lied on
- 45:08Speaker 2: who she was when she became a citizen.
- 45:13Speaker 2: And I think it's kind of rich that if she
- 45:17Speaker 2: had gone to Congress and had kept her head down
- 45:20Speaker 2: and done good work and helped her community and done
- 45:24Speaker 2: the stuff that she's supposed to do, I don't think
- 45:26Speaker 2: anybody would have necessarily made as big a deal of
- 45:31Speaker 2: this as they have. But she's been one of the
- 45:33Speaker 2: loudest members out there talking trash against our country the
- 45:38Speaker 2: whole time she's been in Congress. She laughed at the
- 45:44Speaker 2: idea that 9-11 was in some way a bad thing.
- 45:49Speaker 2: She literally went on a, I played the audio on
- 45:52Speaker 2: this show. She went on a podcast and said, oh yeah,
- 45:56Speaker 2: on 9-11 when some people did something, ha, ha, ha, ha.
- 46:00Speaker 2: And her shoulders were writing up and down and she
- 46:02Speaker 2: was laughing so hard. She has regularly been linked to
- 46:08Speaker 2: people that raise money for terrorist groups. She has regularly
- 46:12Speaker 2: been linked with the worst elements of the corruption story
- 46:18Speaker 2: in Minnesota. It's so bad now that even the Democratic
- 46:23Speaker 2: governor candidate there is promising to clean it up if
- 46:27Speaker 2: she gets elected. This is why we don't let non-citizens
- 46:31Speaker 2: be congressional representatives. They're not rooting for America. Some congressional
- 46:37Speaker 2: members say, I don't think Democrats think you should have
- 46:40Speaker 2: to be an American. They don't believe in our borders.
- 46:42Speaker 2: They've made it clear they don't believe in America. The
- 46:45Speaker 2: House has the constitutional authority to expel a member, but
- 46:50Speaker 2: doing so requires a two-thirds vote. A criminal investigation or
- 46:55Speaker 2: allegation alone does not automatically remove a member from Congress.
- 46:59Speaker 2: Fine also criticized Delia Ramirez, who in September introduced the
- 47:05Speaker 2: Reimagining Safety Act. Legislation that would dismantle the Department of
- 47:09Speaker 2: Homeland Security and basically abolish immigration and customs enforcement and
- 47:13Speaker 2: customs and border protection.
- 47:16Speaker 6: It's crazy.
- 47:18Speaker 2: They want to get rid of Homeland Security. They don't
- 47:22Speaker 2: want us to have a border. They want to have
- 47:25Speaker 2: non-citizens vote in the elections. Another headline today, 20,000 fraudulent
- 47:32Speaker 2: registered voters in L.A.
- 47:33Speaker 8: County.
- 47:34Speaker 6: And it's only.
- 47:35Speaker 2: Friends, I'm not trying to pick on anybody, but it's
- 47:38Speaker 2: only the one party that is putting all of these
- 47:42Speaker 2: ideas forward. It's only the left that is saying, let's
- 47:47Speaker 2: not have any rules. Let's let everybody vote. Let's not
- 47:52Speaker 2: even have to be a U.S. citizen to run for office.
- 47:55Speaker 2: The Florida congressman said, look at the bill filed by
- 47:58Speaker 2: the congresswoman from Chicago where she doesn't believe we should
- 48:00Speaker 2: have borders, border protection, or the ability to deport anyone.
- 48:04Speaker 2: Fine also criticized Democrats who have called the Justice Department's
- 48:08Speaker 2: investigation into Omar politically motivated, pointing to the separate inquiry
- 48:12Speaker 2: into her financial disclosures. All of the voices that speak
- 48:16Speaker 2: up in favor of the cheating, they all come from
- 48:18Speaker 2: one side. The congressman said that that party doesn't get
- 48:22Speaker 2: held accountable for anything and they agree on this agenda
- 48:25Speaker 2: that is anti-American and anti-citizen. The congresswoman's D.C. residence was
- 48:30Speaker 2: searched by Homeland Security investigation agents on October 12th. And
- 48:36Speaker 2: I saw her with Chris Haynes yesterday complaining that that came.
- 48:43Speaker 6: At four in the morning.
- 48:46Speaker 8: Hmm.
- 48:48Speaker 2: Right around the same time that the people showed up
- 48:50Speaker 2: to sweep Mar-a-Lago when they did the same thing to
- 48:54Speaker 2: President Trump. But nobody was there.
- 48:58Speaker 6: Oh, it's so early.
- 48:59Speaker 2: One last thing, and I first proffered this idea yesterday,
- 49:04Speaker 2: and it's still bothering me. I'm still thinking, well, why
- 49:07Speaker 2: is that the case? She still hasn't been seen publicly.
- 49:11Speaker 2: When she makes her video, she's on the move.
- 49:13Speaker 6: She's in a car.
- 49:15Speaker 2: She shows up for certain controlled environments. She's now done
- 49:19Speaker 2: two interviews. with very, very far left-leaning.
- 49:25Speaker 6: Journalists.
- 49:28Speaker 2: I'm sure the condition of her doing the interview is
- 49:31Speaker 2: that they do not assert where she's at at what
- 49:34Speaker 2: time or else they don't get the interview. But I've
- 49:38Speaker 2: wondered if they don't already have an arrest warrant written
- 49:42Speaker 2: out for her. And the challenge is just her appearing
- 49:50Speaker 2: somewhere where they can pick her up. Because it sounds
- 49:52Speaker 2: to me like she's broken a lot of laws.
- 49:56Speaker 6: Anyway, yeah.
- 49:58Speaker 2: So she has the legal last name of the man
- 50:01Speaker 2: she married that everyone probably thinks is her brother anyway.
- 50:05Speaker 2: And now we know that they had the last name
- 50:08Speaker 2: In Somalia.
- 50:10Speaker 6: Before they got married here.
- 50:12Speaker 2: They already had the last name.
- 50:14Speaker 6: The name of fathers and grandfathers. Identical.
- 50:18Speaker 2: No, there's nothing fishy with that. Why would you think
- 50:21Speaker 2: there was something fishy with that going on? All right,
- 50:23Speaker 2: coming up next, America First Works is another organization that
- 50:27Speaker 2: is tracing what's going on in the election.
- 50:30Speaker 6: It will be here and be done soon.
- 50:31Speaker 11: So hang in there.
- 50:34Speaker 6: Kevin McCullough coming back. From New York, that Kevin. Kevin McCullough.
- 51:00Speaker 9: Welcome back.
- 51:06Speaker 6: To Times Square.
- 51:06Speaker 2: It's that Kevin show, thatkevinshow.com. From Anchorage to Miami, New
- 51:12Speaker 2: York to San Diego, we're glad to have you wherever
- 51:14Speaker 2: you're at. 400 plus outlets every day.
- 51:16Speaker 6: Two TV networks every weekend. Thank you for making us
- 51:19Speaker 6: part of your life.
- 51:21Speaker 2: The group that we always check in with regularly is
- 51:23Speaker 2: America First Policy Institute. But there are other pieces of
- 51:27Speaker 2: what America First is doing that are also having huge impact.
- 51:30Speaker 2: And America First Works is headed up by my good
- 51:33Speaker 2: friend Ashley Hayek, who has been there for a little while.
- 51:36Speaker 2: And Ashley, this last week, or the last couple of weeks,
- 51:40Speaker 2: I think the burning cities of Europe have really given
- 51:46Speaker 2: maybe some pause to some voters who That if you
- 51:49Speaker 2: go down Europe's path, you might end up with Europe's present.
- 51:53Speaker 2: And I think that that is enough to also have
- 51:57Speaker 2: people look into some of the accomplishments of what the
- 52:00Speaker 2: current team in Washington has done. And maybe they're not
- 52:03Speaker 2: going to have this huge, massive revolt in the midterms
- 52:07Speaker 2: that normally expect. You're out there every day on the
- 52:11Speaker 2: campaign trail talking to people about policies.
- 52:13Speaker 6: What are you finding?
- 52:15Speaker 3: Well, I don't know about you, but when I watch
- 52:18Speaker 3: the footage of what's happening in France, It reminds me
- 52:21Speaker 3: a lot of what happened during the summer of 2020
- 52:24Speaker 3: here in the United States, when you had so many
- 52:27Speaker 3: of these far left radical groups that destroyed statues and
- 52:34Speaker 3: symbols of American pride, destroyed things in buildings, public buildings,
- 52:40Speaker 3: city buildings, government buildings, businesses were destroyed. lit on fire,
- 52:44Speaker 3: people were fighting in the streets.
- 52:46Speaker 6: These were the mostly peaceful protests.
- 52:48Speaker 7: Remember the mostly peaceful?
- 52:50Speaker 6: Exactly.
- 52:51Speaker 3: And the same with the ice outs, the No Kings Rally.
- 52:54Speaker 3: They claim to be these peaceful protests, but they're not.
- 52:56Speaker 3: And they're all fueled by radical climate organizations.
- 53:00Speaker 6: Teachers, unions.
- 53:02Speaker 11: The thing about the ice outs.
- 53:03Speaker 3: Is a lot of them, they claim to be student-led,
- 53:05Speaker 3: very similar to what we're seeing in France right now.
- 53:07Speaker 3: And they're, in fact, not student-led. They're led by these
- 53:10Speaker 3: radical left-wing groups. Neville Singham is a part of that group.
- 53:13Speaker 3: Neville Singham also is the one that funds a lot
- 53:16Speaker 3: of the organizations here in the United States. So to
- 53:18Speaker 3: say that there's no link between these two is factually incorrect.
- 53:23Speaker 3: And we've seen it happen here in the past. Look
- 53:25Speaker 3: at Portland, another great example of where there's been complete
- 53:28Speaker 3: destruction by these radicals. And we can't go back there.
- 53:31Speaker 3: We can't allow that in this country. And it makes
- 53:34Speaker 3: me very worried for the future. They say that there's
- 53:36Speaker 3: a KGB agent who switched in 1985 and did this interview.
- 53:41Speaker 3: And he talked about how you don't take over a
- 53:43Speaker 3: country through tanks and war. You take it over through
- 53:46Speaker 3: indoctrination of our institutions. And you see that with higher
- 53:51Speaker 3: education in our classroom. And that's why you see these
- 53:54Speaker 3: teachers unions trying to get to our children's minds. And
- 53:56Speaker 3: so that's what this election, every election is about. It's
- 53:59Speaker 3: preserving the republic. It's saving our country and making sure
- 54:03Speaker 3: that we take care of this great experiment that is America.
- 54:06Speaker 2: I think that's such a great summary of what we're
- 54:09Speaker 2: looking at. Let's talk specifically about kind of the misinterpretation
- 54:16Speaker 2: of where we are fiscally from a from a national
- 54:20Speaker 2: standpoint i wrote about this in town hall this week
- 54:22Speaker 2: earlier this monday of this week and i said you
- 54:26Speaker 2: know the polls lean kind of one way they almost
- 54:29Speaker 2: always kind of lean one way let's be honest about
- 54:31Speaker 2: it and they generally tend to under poll republicans but
- 54:36Speaker 2: If you talk to people about what the issues are,
- 54:38Speaker 2: you'll hear things like gas prices, war in Iran, and
- 54:43Speaker 2: a president's personality defects of some sort. They'll say, I
- 54:47Speaker 2: don't like his personality. I don't like his humor, postings, whatever.
- 54:51Speaker 2: And I'm sitting there thinking to myself, okay, the war
- 54:55Speaker 2: in Iran, nobody really wants it. We're not losing people.
- 54:59Speaker 2: We don't have boots on the ground. We haven't invaded anywhere.
- 55:02Speaker 2: We're just keeping a nuclear power at bay from destroying
- 55:06Speaker 2: the rest of the free world. So I think most
- 55:09Speaker 2: Americans kind of understand the nuance there. So there's this
- 55:12Speaker 2: kind of line of nuance after each of those issues.
- 55:14Speaker 2: Gas prices are kind of the trade we have for
- 55:17Speaker 2: that right now. And it's not anything that we want
- 55:19Speaker 2: to face, but it is the reality. But do we
- 55:22Speaker 2: get a nuke-free Iran because of it? I'd still make
- 55:25Speaker 2: that trade right now. And then in terms of the president,
- 55:29Speaker 2: he's won 230 million votes in only three elections.
- 55:33Speaker 6: He's the most.
- 55:34Speaker 2: Voted for president in history. He's gotten more votes than
- 55:37Speaker 2: FDR did in four terms. His personality is baked in.
- 55:41Speaker 2: People know or they don't. They know and they like
- 55:44Speaker 2: or they don't like, whatever it is about that. But
- 55:46Speaker 2: that's not why people vote for Donald Trump. They voted
- 55:48Speaker 2: for Donald Trump because of the agenda. This agenda has
- 55:52Speaker 2: been followed through on. And I think all Republicans need
- 55:54Speaker 2: to do between now and the election is to remind people,
- 55:57Speaker 2: look at what we have actually done.
- 55:59Speaker 3: Yeah, and I have to convince Speaker Johnson for his
- 56:02Speaker 3: leadership and the work that he has done leading this
- 56:04Speaker 3: Congress with such a small majority.
- 56:07Speaker 6: Razor thin.
- 56:08Speaker 3: Razor thin. And you look at the Democrats and what
- 56:10Speaker 3: they have voted against. They voted against no tax on tips.
- 56:14Speaker 3: They voted against no tax on overtime tips. They are
- 56:17Speaker 3: not the ones who are pursuing prosperity. It's the America
- 56:21Speaker 3: first leaders in Congress and our president. And we have
- 56:24Speaker 3: seen phenomenal prosperity and more money in people's paychecks. Unfortunately,
- 56:29Speaker 3: that money is going more into our gas tanks. And
- 56:32Speaker 3: a lot of that, too, people forget is unraveling all
- 56:35Speaker 3: of the damage that Biden did during his administration, shutting
- 56:39Speaker 3: down the pipeline, making us energy dependent and reducing our
- 56:42Speaker 3: independence rates. So all of those things compounds, you know,
- 56:46Speaker 3: this president has done more to drive energy protection production domestically.
- 56:50Speaker 3: Look at what happened with Venezuela. Another great example of
- 56:54Speaker 3: getting us where we need to be. People forget that,
- 56:57Speaker 3: you know, Biden inflation was nine percent. And then Joe
- 57:00Speaker 3: Biden told us that it was transitory. and temporary, people
- 57:03Speaker 3: forget that eggs are $ 5 a dozen, and we've seen
- 57:08Speaker 3: massive decrease in the cost of eggs, the cost of chicken.
- 57:11Speaker 3: This is the first time, my sister's a cattle farmer,
- 57:15Speaker 3: this is the first time that the herd for beef
- 57:17Speaker 3: has actually increased We have seen a decline for like
- 57:20Speaker 3: 70 years, 60 years. That's, you know, with because of
- 57:24Speaker 3: the leadership of the president and Secretary Rollins. And so
- 57:27Speaker 3: they didn't do that under the Biden administration. And yes,
- 57:30Speaker 3: beef is still a little expensive, but there are actions
- 57:33Speaker 3: being taken every single day to try and make our
- 57:36Speaker 3: lives better and not just affordable, but prosperous. And that's
- 57:40Speaker 3: the difference. And if you look at the contrast of that,
- 57:43Speaker 3: you look at what the left has to offer. It's
- 57:45Speaker 3: big government socialism, one size fits all. forcing a mandated
- 57:49Speaker 3: government-run health care system. The grocery stores in New York
- 57:54Speaker 3: City would be everywhere. That's a disaster, putting independent bodegas
- 57:58Speaker 3: that had been there generationally out of work. That's what
- 58:02Speaker 3: the left wants, and it's actually quite scary.
- 58:05Speaker 2: Well, I want to shift gears to one last topic
- 58:07Speaker 2: before I let you go, and that is that we
- 58:10Speaker 2: have been told over and over again that Elections are flawless.
- 58:14Speaker 6: There's no mistakes. There's no fraud.
- 58:16Speaker 11: There's nothing that's happened.
- 58:17Speaker 2: Actually, last week, 20,000 fraudulent voters on the roll in L.A.
- 58:22Speaker 2: County came to light. Gavin Newsom didn't have an explanation
- 58:27Speaker 2: for it. Nobody can really defend it. You actually had
- 58:30Speaker 2: Schumer and Meeks file a lawsuit against the administration this
- 58:35Speaker 2: week for the purposes of preventing the feds from helping
- 58:39Speaker 2: states clean their voter rolls. They are doing everything they
- 58:43Speaker 2: can to legally defend illegal votes. And it's at a
- 58:48Speaker 2: pretty massive scale. People may not remember, but the audit
- 58:52Speaker 2: that was done in Georgia, this is going back to
- 58:54Speaker 2: the 2020 election. It took them like five years to
- 58:56Speaker 2: get the audit done. But when they turned it up,
- 58:59Speaker 2: there were 315,000 votes that were allowed to be counted
- 59:02Speaker 2: that should have been disqualified in that state's election. So
- 59:06Speaker 2: the president has put a big emphasis on election integrity
- 59:09Speaker 2: from where you're sitting how do you feel about the
- 59:12Speaker 2: efforts that we've put in thus far and are we
- 59:14Speaker 2: any more well protected in this in this election It's.
- 59:17Speaker 3: Been phenomenal what they what this administration has done. I
- 59:20Speaker 3: have to give, you know, really commend the Department of Justice.
- 59:24Speaker 3: Right now we're seeing, you know, Attorney General Todd Blanche,
- 59:27Speaker 3: as well as Harmeet Dhillon, who's in the Civil Rights Division,
- 59:29Speaker 3: making sure that they send monitors and enforcing the law.
- 59:34Speaker 3: I want to know what California is hiding. You know,
- 59:36Speaker 3: if you have nothing to hide, you open your books. But,
- 59:39Speaker 3: you know, the arrests that have happened, the charges that
- 59:42Speaker 3: have been made, the fact that they are taking this action,
- 59:45Speaker 3: to your point, they're definitely hiding something. California is one
- 59:48Speaker 3: of the states that allows automatic... illegal aliens to automatically
- 59:52Speaker 3: have a driver's license. And so that's, they also have
- 59:55Speaker 3: automatic enrollment at the DMV for voting. I guarantee you
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: there's a lot, exactly.
- 1:00:01Speaker 7: Probably Illinois.
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: So that's, that's what we have to get to the
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: bottom of because voting is, you know, it's a sacred
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: right that we have as an American. The other thing
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: I'll just say is in terms of our, the integrity
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: of our elections, what is so rich to me is
- 1:00:14Speaker 3: we have seen such a spike in early vote. So
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: I know a lot of folks, if you, if you
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: are on X or watching YouTube, Fake news media, they
- 1:00:22Speaker 3: start saying, oh, blue wave, blue wave, look at the
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: Democrat turnout. Well, what we're seeing is a big drop
- 1:00:27Speaker 3: in the mail ballots because the Democrats said, don't vote
- 1:00:31Speaker 3: by mail. We cannot trust Trump's mail ballots. How rich
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: is that? We're the election deniers. We're the crazy ones
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: for questioning voting methods. And they're telling their voters, don't
- 1:00:42Speaker 3: vote by mail, vote early in person. So that's the
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: shift we're seeing. We're not seeing a shift in politics.
- 1:00:47Speaker 3: We're seeing a shift in method. So buckle up, hold
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: on tight. We do need to get our base to
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: go and vote. Elections are secure. I have trust in
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: this administration. We've got to show up so we can
- 1:00:58Speaker 3: continue to support them in the work that they're doing.
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: I'm really glad that he's also been out on the
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: campaign trail working as hard as if he were on
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: the ballot, it appears to me. And he's getting regular
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: Trump-sized crowds everywhere he goes.
- 1:01:12Speaker 6: I'm not sure the other side is.
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: The other side kind of looks like the Biden campaign.
- 1:01:17Speaker 11: Turn out.
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: Remember those big parking lots with the circles in them
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: and one chair? That was a packed rally for him. Anyway, actually,
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: great to see you. Thanks for stopping by.
- 1:01:25Speaker 6: I appreciate it.
- 1:01:26Speaker 11: Thank you.
- 1:01:27Speaker 6: You got it. Kevin McCullough coming right back from New York.
- 1:01:29Speaker 6: Stay tuned.
- 1:01:33Speaker 13: Stick around for more of That Kevin next.
- 1:01:55Speaker 12: Here he is from New York, that Kevin, Kevin McCullough.
- 1:02:03Speaker 6: All right, welcome back, Kevin McCullough.
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: Very glad to have you with us and very excited
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: to be on this journey with you that I look
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: forward to. Personally, I look forward to this every year
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: because when I think of this time of year, we're
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: coming into that stretch where all the holidays hit, even
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: the non-holidays that my kids love that I hate, like
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: Halloween and stuff like that. Thanksgiving, Christmas, this is my
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: sweet spot. I love this time of year. I love
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: thinking about the themes of being thankful, the themes of
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: Jesus coming incarnate, and what that all motivates us to do.
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: And if you're a thankful person, if you have things
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: to be thankful for, then you should be excited to
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: reciprocate that and show that to the rest of the world.
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: And that's where My yearly campaign with Christian Solidarity International
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: means so much to us because we use all of
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: that good feeling, all of those wonderful ideas about gratitude
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: and Christ's coming, and we say, hey, let's actually change
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: some lives with it. Todd Chapman is back with us
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: from Christian Solidarity International. And Todd, you and I have
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: talked off air quite a bit about how unique what
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: CSI is in terms of what they do. It is
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: one of the most Well, I don't know of anything
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: else like it. But when I give that gift to
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: know that that human life is going from slavery into freedom,
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: from maybe the darkest period of their life into maybe
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: the most hope-filled, I just have nothing but good vibes
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: at that point, to quote the kids these days.
- 1:03:37Speaker 5: Yeah, and you can do that, by the way, at thatkevinshow.com, 888-342-1010.
- 1:03:42Speaker 5: You know, and I'm actually looking at a story here
- 1:03:45Speaker 5: that reminds me of– I mean, you said a big
- 1:03:48Speaker 5: part of their lives. Some of these people that were
- 1:03:50Speaker 5: enslaved have literally spent almost their entire life in slavery.
- 1:03:54Speaker 5: I'm looking at the story of a book. She was taken.
- 1:03:57Speaker 11: She and her mom abducted. And I don't even know
- 1:04:00Speaker 11: when this was.
- 1:04:01Speaker 5: But as she was a baby and they're taken up
- 1:04:05Speaker 5: into Sudan.
- 1:04:06Speaker 11: Sudan.
- 1:04:07Speaker 5: Her mom is beaten many times to the point where
- 1:04:10Speaker 5: she finally died from a beating. I mean, they beat
- 1:04:12Speaker 5: her so bad and she's lying there dying and they
- 1:04:16Speaker 5: don't take her to a hospital because they don't have
- 1:04:18Speaker 5: any value. I mean, you were just an object. And
- 1:04:21Speaker 5: if you die, I'll just get another one. I'll just,
- 1:04:23Speaker 5: you know, replace you. I mean, no value at all.
- 1:04:26Speaker 5: And so now a book is, you know, she's come
- 1:04:28Speaker 5: of age and she is forced to continue to live
- 1:04:32Speaker 5: in the home of the man who abducted her and then,
- 1:04:35Speaker 5: you know, has begun to rape her and killed her mom.
- 1:04:38Speaker 5: One time she's out watching the goats in the field.
- 1:04:41Speaker 5: So one of her tasks, she loses track of a
- 1:04:43Speaker 5: couple of goats. She comes back and tells him he
- 1:04:45Speaker 5: beats her so bad her left eye comes out of
- 1:04:48Speaker 5: her head.
- 1:04:49Speaker 11: Now, thank God. Now, she's 32 years old.
- 1:04:52Speaker 5: So, from a baby, we finally were able to secure
- 1:04:56Speaker 5: her release and walk her into freedom.
- 1:04:59Speaker 11: 32 years of age.
- 1:05:02Speaker 5: So, if she was taken at, let's call it two
- 1:05:04Speaker 5: years of age, we don't really know, 30 years in slavery.
- 1:05:08Speaker 5: You think she's a little bit thrilled and excited that
- 1:05:12Speaker 5: she's finally free? She said, I never thought it would happen, actually,
- 1:05:15Speaker 5: even though I prayed every day that God would somehow
- 1:05:18Speaker 5: deliver me. He finally did, and now I'm here. And
- 1:05:21Speaker 5: she says, my biggest hope now that I'm free is
- 1:05:24Speaker 5: that CSI will just continue to do what they do
- 1:05:27Speaker 5: and free other people that are in the same situation
- 1:05:29Speaker 5: I was in. And yeah, Kevin, you're right. This is
- 1:05:32Speaker 5: so incredibly profound. What we get to do through CSI,
- 1:05:36Speaker 5: what you get to do through CSI, a gift of $ 250.
- 1:05:39Speaker 5: And you secure the freedom of a slave like a book.
- 1:05:44Speaker 5: And you set her up for a brand new life
- 1:05:46Speaker 5: in South Sudan. Most beautiful thing that I think you
- 1:05:49Speaker 5: could do with $ 250 ever.
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: And we wholeheartedly invite you in. So make that call
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: right now. 1-888-342-1010 is the number.
- 1:05:57Speaker 10: 888-342-1010.
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: And as Todd mentioned, if you want to do it online,
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: just go over to thatkevinshow.com and click the CSI banner
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: at the top of the page. But it's super simple.
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: It shouldn't take more than just a couple of minutes
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: to do either one of those. 888-342-1010 or thatkevinshow.com and
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: click the banner. Now, when we take the slave from
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: the slave master's area and existence and we take them
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: back to South Sudan... they just have a time of recovery. Just,
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: you know, you need to exhale a little bit. You
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: need to have some healthy food. You need to have
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: some rest. You need to be around people that aren't
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: out to kill you and hurt you and abuse you
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: every day.
- 1:06:45Speaker 11: Yeah, I was going to say, you need to not
- 1:06:46Speaker 11: be beaten for a while.
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like, let's just have a little cushion of
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: something that there's no expectation.
- 1:06:52Speaker 11: But no verbal abuse for a day.
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: That's where the, but that's where the healing starts. And
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: then as they are, you know, kind of brought back
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: to life, if you will. They're gifted this thing called
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: the Bag of Hope, which really doesn't fit in a
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: bag of any size that you and I could carry.
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: It's a number of gifts. It's a big bag of
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: sorghum grain that they will be able to utilize and eat.
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: They've probably been preparing sorghum for the slave master's family
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: over the time that they've been enslaved. So they're very
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: familiar with how to use this particular grain. There's a
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: bag of seed that will help them plant a garden
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: for more grain a year from now, so they have
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: ongoing food supply. They have things like cooking utensils and
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: gardening utensils and cleaning utensils and those types of things
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: that are all included. And then things like a Bible,
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: things like blankets, tarps, things that are helpful to them
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: in fighting the weather. And then the best part of
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: all is that every one of these sleighs get a
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: little she-goat, a little milking she-goat. that um they're able
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: to take not only have food product from milk and
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: cheese and other things but then they're able to also
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: breed and create a little bit of micro enterprise for
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: themselves or their themselves and their children increasingly um and
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: that is all included everything i just described the recovery
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: time all of the all of the food that they're
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: going to take and plan and all that that's all
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: in the gift of 250 dollars when you give it
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: um Just call the number.
- 1:08:25Speaker 7: 888-342-1010. 888-342-1010. 888-342-1010.
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: Change a life right now. You can also do it
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: online at thatkevinshow.com and click the CSI banner.
- 1:08:55Speaker 9: Here he is, from New York, that Kevin.
- 1:08:59Speaker 12: Kevin McCullough.
- 1:09:00Speaker 6: Welcome back. Kevin McCullough. Glad to have you with us.
- 1:09:04Speaker 6: It's That Kevin Show. Thatkevinshow.com.
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: If you want the column, if you want the podcast,
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: if you want the.
- 1:09:10Speaker 6: Television show, we got it all. It's all there.
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: It's all free. We never put it behind a paywall.
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: We just want you to have access to it. I
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: want to say thank you to the trio of Pauls today.
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: Paul from Malene, Alabama. And Paul in Maywood, New Jersey.
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: And Paul in Breezy Point, New York. All within the
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: last couple of days.
- 1:09:32Speaker 11: That's hilarious.
- 1:09:34Speaker 6: Liberated slaves.
- 1:09:35Speaker 11: Awesome and funny at the same time. Through Christian solidarity. Funny, interesting.
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: And then there's this other guy named David. He had
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: to break the pattern. He's from Bakersfield, California. And he
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: also liberated a slave.
- 1:09:47Speaker 11: Maybe his middle name is Paul.
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: Yeah, it probably is. They all gave gifts, friends, in
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: excess of $ 250. And the significance of that is real simple.
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: Every one of those men that I just mentioned will
- 1:10:01Speaker 2: have liberated a human being, a life, a life that
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: will be forever changed because they are now free. And
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: Todd Chapman is back with us from Christian Solidarity International. Todd,
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: I never get over the fact that there are people
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: constantly tuning in for the first time and they're constantly saying.
- 1:10:17Speaker 6: Wait, what?
- 1:10:17Speaker 2: What's this about slavery? What's this about liberation? We solved
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: that problem 100 years ago, more. How come you're talking
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: about it now? What do you say to them?
- 1:10:29Speaker 5: Yeah, well, I think, first of all, we live in
- 1:10:31Speaker 5: a bit of a bubble here in the United States.
- 1:10:34Speaker 5: And so, you know, if it's not happening for the
- 1:10:37Speaker 5: most part within our borders or even our communities, a lot.
- 1:10:40Speaker 11: Of times we're just not aware of stuff.
- 1:10:42Speaker 5: You know, that's just the media world that we live
- 1:10:45Speaker 5: in these days. And, you know, what we're talking about here,
- 1:10:49Speaker 5: you know, we're talking about something that actually has been
- 1:10:51Speaker 5: going on for many, many years. The taking of these
- 1:10:56Speaker 5: slaves happened, as my kids would say, in the last century.
- 1:10:59Speaker 11: So, it happened a while back.
- 1:11:01Speaker 5: But it was at a level that most people, yeah,
- 1:11:03Speaker 5: people are so surprised when I talk to them about this.
- 1:11:06Speaker 5: They're like, how have I never heard about this? Most
- 1:11:09Speaker 5: people haven't. I mean, you would have to be pretty
- 1:11:11Speaker 5: steeped in global history and international relations and Christian persecution
- 1:11:15Speaker 5: to really be aware of this. But our lack of
- 1:11:17Speaker 5: awareness doesn't make it any less significant. And so that's
- 1:11:20Speaker 5: why we're so thrilled to be able to have the
- 1:11:22Speaker 5: opportunity to come on Kevin's show. And we've been doing
- 1:11:25Speaker 5: it for years and bring it in front of you,
- 1:11:27Speaker 5: make you aware of it. Because what we found is
- 1:11:29Speaker 5: once people know about this and they understand, not just
- 1:11:34Speaker 5: on the macro level, but you understand on an individual
- 1:11:38Speaker 5: level how important just incredibly viciously these human beings have
- 1:11:45Speaker 5: been treated simply because they just happened to believe differently
- 1:11:49Speaker 5: and were in a part of the world, in a
- 1:11:51Speaker 5: country at the time that was largely Christian, and these
- 1:11:54Speaker 5: Muslim marauders were basically allowed to throw down on them
- 1:11:58Speaker 5: and do what they wanted. Well, now all of that
- 1:12:00Speaker 5: has stopped, but the remnants were 150 plus thousand, probably
- 1:12:02Speaker 5: 200,000 is the ballpark estimate after this slavery broke out.
- 1:12:09Speaker 5: have remained in captivity most of that time. And so,
- 1:12:12Speaker 5: CSI has been setting them free one slave at a time.
- 1:12:15Speaker 11: And so, yeah, I think that's the big thing, Kevin.
- 1:12:18Speaker 5: I just think, you know, it's interesting, too, when people
- 1:12:22Speaker 5: become aware of the level of slavery and bondage and
- 1:12:27Speaker 5: abuse in the world, I do find that most Christians,
- 1:12:30Speaker 5: suddenly they're activated and they're like, okay, this is not right.
- 1:12:33Speaker 11: I need to be doing something about it.
- 1:12:35Speaker 5: So if that's your disposition, you're in the right place
- 1:12:39Speaker 5: to actually do something about that and free a Sudanese slave,
- 1:12:44Speaker 5: one like Adut.
- 1:12:45Speaker 11: Where were you in 1996, Kev? What were you doing?
- 1:12:48Speaker 6: 26 years old, probably. I was living in Chicago.
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: I was out of school a couple of years, and
- 1:12:53Speaker 2: I was working on my radio career.
- 1:12:56Speaker 11: Okay, so there you go.
- 1:12:57Speaker 5: Well, in 1996, and she definitely remembers this day, she, Adut,
- 1:13:02Speaker 5: was just walking to visit her sister. And she's a
- 1:13:05Speaker 5: young teenager at the time, just, you know, just doing
- 1:13:08Speaker 5: what she did every day. And suddenly a group of
- 1:13:10Speaker 5: men show up and they've got guns and they're on horses.
- 1:13:15Speaker 5: And they snatch her, stick her in this rudimentary pen,
- 1:13:20Speaker 5: you know, this cage with about a dozen other abductees.
- 1:13:24Speaker 11: And then they waited.
- 1:13:26Speaker 5: Guards, you know, have guns trained on them. And then
- 1:13:31Speaker 5: they were all marched north into a strange land. And
- 1:13:35Speaker 5: she was given to a slave owner. And this began
- 1:13:38Speaker 5: the next several decades of her life, beaten every day,
- 1:13:43Speaker 5: forced to do all sorts of hard physical labor. Sexual
- 1:13:46Speaker 5: abuse began not long after she got there because she's
- 1:13:49Speaker 5: a teenager. And so she began to be raped, you know, repeatedly, violently.
- 1:13:55Speaker 5: And then she eventually, of course, got pregnant. And when
- 1:13:58Speaker 5: she bore her children, they were taken away, kept by
- 1:14:01Speaker 5: the man who enslaved her. And then one night, desperate
- 1:14:04Speaker 5: and fearing for her life and her last remaining child,
- 1:14:08Speaker 5: she's like, I just got to get out of here.
- 1:14:09Speaker 11: I don't care what it costs. I have to try.
- 1:14:12Speaker 5: And so she flees, and she happened to run into
- 1:14:16Speaker 5: our slave retriever who said, look, I can actually help
- 1:14:19Speaker 5: you and get you to safety. You can't be fumbling
- 1:14:22Speaker 5: around here in the dark. They're going to find you,
- 1:14:24Speaker 5: and they're going to kill you. So he brought her
- 1:14:25Speaker 5: into freedom.
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: Since so many of these women, when they were taken, were...
- 1:14:31Speaker 2: in essence, Christians raised by Christians knew of the Christian
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: gospel and knew what it was to worship Jesus. But
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: as soon as they were taken into captivity, their Muslim
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: slave masters forbade that. And so, a lot of them
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: were forced to take Muslim names and to do things
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: like circumcise themselves, trying to be as polite as I
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: can in terms of describing it. But without any medical
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: help or sanitary conditions to do it in. And that's
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: in addition to the sexual assault and the rape and
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: the beatings and the vulgar verbal abuse that was taking place.
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: And at the end of the day, when you give
- 1:15:18Speaker 2: them their freedom from captivity, you're releasing them from all
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: of that. You're giving them a life where none of
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: that occurs anymore. And not only does it not occur,
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: they can now proactively go back to worshiping the Jesus
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: that they weren't even allowed to pray to out loud.
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: If they were caught praying to Jesus out loud while
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: in captivity, it could mean their death. But many of
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: them did pray just silently and quietly to themselves night
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: after night.
- 1:15:49Speaker 6: God, please see me. Please hear my cry. Hear my prayer.
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: Help us be liberated. And Now that they have the
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: chance to do that, the ones that are coming out
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: into freedom are telling us, don't give up. Don't give
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: up until you get all of them. We've got to
- 1:16:06Speaker 2: get all of the slaves liberated.
- 1:16:07Speaker 14: 888-342-1010.
- 1:16:08Speaker 6: $ 250 does that for one person. $ 250 permanently liberates a slave.
- 1:16:11Speaker 7: 888-342-1010. 888-342-1010.
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: We have 232 slaves' names on a list this year.

- 1:16:31Speaker 2: up with a no-drink minnow.
- 1:16:33Speaker 6: It's That Kevin Show.
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: Hey, Kevin McCullough, welcome back. Final few minutes for the
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: radio week. Don't forget, tomorrow morning, 8 a.m., we will

- 1:17:09Speaker 2: some humor, hopefully a laugh or two. The Babylon Bee,
- 1:17:13Speaker 2: Nick Peterson, some other great comedy teams joining us for
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: the weekend edition of That Kevin Show. It's heard in
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: radio syndication, so you'll get that across the country, I think,
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: at 9 p.m., Saturday night. But the TV version kicks
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: off your weekend at 8 a.m.
- 1:17:30Speaker 6: Tomorrow.
- 1:17:31Speaker 2: Should be a lot of fun. And then we will

- 1:17:40Speaker 2: at 11 p.m., which is primetime on the West Coast.
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: So thank you for making us a big part of
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: your Saturday. Big Saturday, as we refer to it around
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: That Kevin Show. We're so grateful to have the opportunity
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: to be with you seven days a week because I'm
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: on a lot of radio stations on Sunday too. So
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: it's always a lot of fun. I just today got
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: my first batch of Z-Stack. I'm pretty excited because Z-Stack
- 1:18:09Speaker 2: is the immune boosting formula from the legacy of Dr.
- 1:18:13Speaker 2: Zev Zelenko. You may remember Dr. Zelenko came up with
- 1:18:16Speaker 2: the Zelenko protocol. It was a therapeutic protocol to help
- 1:18:20Speaker 2: people recover from COVID faster and because it boosted their
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: immune system and helped them fight off the horrible things
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: that were infecting their body. Well, when in 2020, he
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: was deplatformed and told, you know, you're a bad, bad person,
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: bad person for doing any of this. It turned out
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: that he was 100% right. Everything that he had researched
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: has since then been completely justified. And even though he
- 1:18:48Speaker 2: is no longer with us because he lost his battle
- 1:18:51Speaker 2: with cancer a couple of years ago, I am very
- 1:18:54Speaker 2: honored to be one of the first endorsers of Z-Stack.
- 1:18:58Speaker 2: It's a combination of ingredients, vitamin C, zinc, a couple
- 1:19:02Speaker 2: of other things. It will keep your immune system boosted.
- 1:19:06Speaker 2: You are going to fight off those colds a little
- 1:19:08Speaker 2: bit better. There's going to be all kinds of things
- 1:19:11Speaker 2: that you're going to be able to feel better about.
- 1:19:14Speaker 2: And I'm excited to start taking it myself because I've
- 1:19:18Speaker 2: known about ZStack for a little while, did not know
- 1:19:21Speaker 2: that they had created a personal formula, and I just
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: think it's going to be tremendous. So why don't you
- 1:19:26Speaker 2: get started with me? $ 4. 95 to get your first order.
- 1:19:31Speaker 2: You just also add the shipping and handling. $ 4. 95 to
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: get started. ZStackLife.com slash Kevin. ZStackLife.com slash Kevin to try

- 1:19:47Speaker 2: I still have in the podcast archives is my original
- 1:19:50Speaker 2: two discussions with Dr. Zelenko about everything that he was
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: doing to fight COVID in his community. And he kept
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: seeing patients even after the governor of New York told
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: the private care physicians to close their offices, he kept
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: going to patients' homes. But the day that he was
- 1:20:09Speaker 2: on my show and then we turned it into a podcast,
- 1:20:12Speaker 2: it just went super viral and it's still.
- 1:20:15Speaker 6: In the archives.
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: I'm going to go back and re-listen to that because
- 1:20:18Speaker 2: there were some things in there that were really amazing. Anyway, ZStackLife.com,
