- 0:00Speaker 1: Celebrity news.
- 0:01Speaker 2: You like that?
- 0:02Speaker 3: Guards All right, what do we got hit a celebrity gossip?
- 0:05Speaker 4: Kylie? The Netflix documentary dropped yesterday. We tried to get
- 0:10Speaker 4: through all three episodes, Mikey, but we only made it
- 0:12Speaker 4: through one.
- 0:12Speaker 1: So in case you worried.
- 0:14Speaker 3: About spoilers, that wasn't together. By the way, we weren't
- 0:16Speaker 3: watching that together. Nobody thought that when we've walked in together,
- 0:20Speaker 3: they think we've been together overnight because they're idiots.
- 0:22Speaker 4: Oh sorry, I'm not supposed to call the production team
- 0:24Speaker 4: idiots anymore. Yeah, No, I got pulled up on MYSTA.
- 0:28Speaker 4: So earlier we were speaking about her relationship with Michael
- 0:31Speaker 4: Hutchins from In Excess. Now we're going to speak about
- 0:34Speaker 4: her IVF journey, because she's had a very public career
- 0:37Speaker 4: for decades, but she's always managed to keep a pretty
- 0:41Speaker 4: low profile when it comes to her private life. So
- 0:43Speaker 4: this is kind of the first time we're hearing about
- 0:45Speaker 4: her struggle to have children and her journey with IVF.
- 0:48Speaker 4: So basically, here she's going to talk about how she
- 0:50Speaker 4: eventually just came to terms after trying and trying that
- 0:54Speaker 4: being a mother was just not going to be on
- 0:56Speaker 4: the cards for it.
- 0:56Speaker 5: I was thirty six when I got my diagnosis, so
- 0:59Speaker 5: already you need to be thinking about children. So I
- 1:03Speaker 5: did try, even postphones, went chemo therapy to try. But yeah,
- 1:07Speaker 5: I did try a few times with IVF, always with such.
- 1:11Speaker 1: A thread of hope.
- 1:13Speaker 5: If it happened, it would have been just a miracle.
- 1:18Speaker 3: You famously tried IVF many times, right.
- 1:21Speaker 1: It is heartbreaking.
- 1:22Speaker 2: I remember talking about Jennifer Aniston on here too and
- 1:25Speaker 2: how she had to come like make peace with it,
- 1:27Speaker 2: and I remember reading this bit out like a celebrity
- 1:30Speaker 2: gospel like you nat, And I don't know where it
- 1:32Speaker 2: came from, but I just broke down because jen just
- 1:35Speaker 2: said I had to let that ship sail and I
- 1:38Speaker 2: had to make peace with it. And it's actually very confronting.
- 1:41Speaker 2: But then, you know, I feel like I'm a mother
- 1:44Speaker 2: to many you know.
- 1:45Speaker 3: Have you made peace with How do you?
- 1:48Speaker 6: How did you do that?
- 1:50Speaker 2: You kind of just have to accept it because there's
- 1:53Speaker 2: nothing you know you can do about it.
- 1:55Speaker 5: It's hard.
- 1:56Speaker 4: I haven't tried to have children yet, but I can
- 1:58Speaker 4: speak from being a woman. You feel as if it's
- 2:01Speaker 4: part of your duty as a woman to have children.
- 2:04Speaker 4: So did you feel the anchor when you weren't able
- 2:06Speaker 4: to like a little bit of a failure because you
- 2:08Speaker 4: couldn't do something that society told you.
- 2:11Speaker 1: You meant to get married, you meant to have kids,
- 2:13Speaker 1: you know, and I do.
- 2:14Speaker 2: I did have fomo like watching my friends with their
- 2:17Speaker 2: kids and thinking, oh, I'm never going to sort of
- 2:19Speaker 2: get to experience that.
- 2:20Speaker 1: But I don't know. It's something that it was heartbreaking.
- 2:23Speaker 2: And it's also when people would like really pity me,
- 2:26Speaker 2: Like on Mother's Day, I get text, Oh, that's I
- 2:30Speaker 2: don't do that, I know, and it's like, so you've.
- 2:32Speaker 3: Got a mum, you just can be with your mom. Sorry,
- 2:35Speaker 3: you're not celebrating Mother's Day.
- 2:37Speaker 2: I get like, I know this is a painful day
- 2:40Speaker 2: for you. It comes from the right place, but I
- 2:45Speaker 2: was I hate it when people sort of look at
- 2:46Speaker 2: me like poor you didn't have kids, and I'm like.
- 2:49Speaker 1: That's why I can have a two ceded card with
- 2:50Speaker 1: the roof off.
- 2:51Speaker 4: Did you ever consider, because obviously you couldn't have kids naturally,
- 2:54Speaker 4: did you ever consider adoption and all those other routes
- 2:56Speaker 4: as well?
- 2:57Speaker 5: I did.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Actually, I became an ambassador for deboref for neess Is.
- 3:02Speaker 3: And get what it was, but I have forgot what
- 3:05Speaker 3: I was.
- 3:06Speaker 1: I know that's about brain, so google it. It's it's
- 3:12Speaker 1: about a good one.
- 3:14Speaker 2: It's not change and it's about changing the laws here
- 3:17Speaker 2: because it's really hard to adopt.
- 3:20Speaker 6: You know, tell me about it as well, well gay, but.
- 3:23Speaker 5: It's just.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Well, well, but yeah, it's just it's.
- 3:31Speaker 6: Not a it's not easy in any way, and it's
- 3:34Speaker 6: expensive and there's so much to go through, which it
- 3:38Speaker 6: has to be. I get that it has to be
- 3:40Speaker 6: because you don't want to be having kids going to anyone, but.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Hold on, but that's the point, the vetting and the
- 3:47Speaker 2: red tape that you would have to go through. So me,
- 3:49Speaker 2: at fifty, I'd be looked down on because I'm too
- 3:52Speaker 2: old to be a mother. The hell can go and
- 3:55Speaker 2: spit out a kid any time and have all sorts
- 3:59Speaker 2: of going on at home and that's okay your life.
- 4:02Speaker 6: That's what my I almost have to deal with that
- 4:05Speaker 6: acceptance because it is like that they're not just going
- 4:08Speaker 6: to hand out kids to anyone for adoption. But if
- 4:11Speaker 6: you're if you haven't, naturally anyone can have a kid.
- 4:15Speaker 2: I think Brooklyn and his husband would make the most
- 4:17Speaker 2: amazing parents.
- 4:19Speaker 3: It doesn't know that.
- 4:24Speaker 2: It doesn't Work's my heart, because you do you know
- 4:27Speaker 2: what I mean that there are kids out there that
- 4:28Speaker 2: would love to have you.
- 4:30Speaker 3: Well, he does have an offer for a surrogate who
- 4:32Speaker 3: called in, but he hasn't taken her up on the office.
- 4:34Speaker 4: And also Mayo, one of the producers.
- 4:36Speaker 3: Yes, she'd do it as well.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Yeah wow, in your own time, Brooklyn
