- 0:00Vox Liturgica: The propers of the day according to the Roman Missal before 1955. Trinity Sunday with commemoration of the first Sunday after Pentecost, May 31 in the year of our Lord 2026. In the name of the Father, and of the son, and of the holy ghost. Amen.
- 0:32The introit.
- 0:35Blessed be the holy trinity and undivided unity. We shall give glory to him because he has shown his mercy to us. O Lord, our Lord, how wonderful is thy name over all the earth. Glory be to the father, and to the son, and to the holy ghost. As it was in the beginning is now and will be through all ages of ages.
- 1:08Amen. Blessed be the Holy Trinity and undivided unity. We shall give glory to him because he hath shown his mercy to us. The Collect. Let us pray.
- 1:28O Almighty and ever living God, who hast enabled thy servants in confessing the true faith to acknowledge the glory of the eternal trinity and in the power of majesty to adore its unity. We beseech thee that by steadfastness in the same faith, we may ever be defended against all adversity. A commemoration of the first Sunday after Pentecost. O God, the strength of all those who put their trust in thee, mercifully hear our prayers, and because through the weakness of our mortal nature we can do no good thing without thee, grant us the help of thy grace, that in keeping of thy commandments, we may please thee both in will and indeed through our Lord Jesus Christ, thy son, who liveth and reigneth with thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God through all ages of ages. Amen.
- 2:43A lesson from the letter of Saint Paul the Apostle to the Romans. Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and of the knowledge of God. How incomprehensible are his judgments, and how unsearchable his ways. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, or who hath been his counselor, or who hath first given to him, and recompense shall be made him. For of him and by him and in him are all things.
- 3:21To him be glory forever. Amen. The gradual. Blessed art thou who look into the depths from thy throne upon the cherubim. Blessed art thou, O Lord, in the firmament of heaven and worthy of praise forever.
- 3:45Alleluia. Alleluia. Blessed art thou, O Lord, the God of our fathers, and worthy to be praised forever. Alleluia. A continuation of the holy gospel according to Matthew.
- 4:06At that time, Jesus said to his disciples, all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. You therefore must go out making disciples of all nations and baptizing them in the name of the father and of the son and of the holy ghost, teaching them to observe all the commandments which I have given you. And behold, I am with you all through the days that are coming until the consummation of the world. The operatory. Blessed be God the father and the only begotten son of God and also the holy ghost because he hath shown his mercy to us.
- 5:05The secret. Sanctify, we beseech thee, O Lord, our God, by the invocation of thy holy name, the sacrifice we offer, and by it, make us an everlasting offering unto thee. A commemoration of the first Sunday after Pentecost. We beseech thee, O Lord, graciously receive the offerings devoted to thee and grant that they may ever be a source of help to us through our Lord Jesus Christ, thy Son, who liveth and reigneth with thee, in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, through all ages of ages. Amen.
- 5:59The preface of the most holy trinity. Just it is and fitting right and for our salvation that we should at all times and in all places give thanks unto thee, O holy Lord, father almighty, everlasting God, who together with thine only begotten son and the holy ghost art one God, one Lord, not in the oneness of a single person, but in the trinity of one substance. For what by thy revelation we believe of thy glory, the same do we believe of thy son, the same of the Holy Ghost without difference or separation. So that in confessing the true and eternal godhead distinction in persons, unity in essence, and equality in majesty may be adored in praise of which the angels and archangels, the cherubim also and Seraphim day by day exalt without end with one voice saying, holy, holy, holy, lord god of hosts. The heavens and the earth are full of thy glory.
- 7:27Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the lord. Hosanna in the highest. The communion. We bless the god of heaven.
- 7:46And before all living, praise him because he hath shown his mercy to us. The post communion. Let us pray. O Lord, our God, may our reception of this sacrament and our acknowledgement of the holy and eternal trinity and its undivided unity be of avail to us for health of mind and of body. A commemoration of the first Sunday after Pentecost.
- 8:25Grant, we beseech thee, O Lord, that we who have been replenished with so great gifts may both receive their saving benefits and may never cease from thy praise through our Lord Jesus Christ, thy son, who liveth and reigneth with thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, through all ages of ages. Amen. A continuation of the holy gospel according to Luke. At that time, Jesus said to his disciples, be merciful then as your father is merciful. Judge nobody and you will not be judged.
- 9:18Condemn nobody and you will not be condemned. Forgive and you shall be forgiven. Give and gifts will be yours. Good measure, pressed down and shaken up and running over will be poured into your lap. The measure you award to others is the measure that will be awarded to you.
- 9:49And he told them this parable. Can one blind man lead another? Will not both fall into the ditch together? A disciple is no better than his master. He will be fully perfect if he is as his master is.
- 10:11How is it that you can see the speck of dust which is in your brother's eye and are not aware of the beam which is in your own? By what right will you say to your brother, brother, let me rid your eye of that speck when you cannot see the beam that is in your own. You hypocrite, take the beam out of your own eye first, and you shall have clear sight to rid your brothers of the speck. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen.
- 10:57Thanks be to God.
