  SPEAKER_00: Hi y'all, I'm Julie.
• 0:02
SPEAKER_00: I'm a trauma-informed adoptee coach and somatic healing guide.
• 0:06
SPEAKER_00: After overcoming deep abandonment wounds, I now help adult adoptees move from feeling lost and disconnected to experiencing profound self-belonging.
• 0:19
SPEAKER_00: I know what it is like to carry the weight of abandonment, to feel stuck in patterns of longing, adapting, and searching for belonging.
• 0:30
SPEAKER_00: To have tried every healing modality available and come up empty.
• 0:36
SPEAKER_00: My own healing has taught me this.
• 0:38
SPEAKER_00: The answers aren't out there.
• 0:40
  SPEAKER_00: They're buried within me.
• 0:42
SPEAKER_00: And I'm here to guide you home to yourself.
• 0:45
SPEAKER_00: The Resilience Project Podcast brings voice, visibility, and validation to the parts of adoption society rarely names, but all of us feel.
• 0:57
SPEAKER_00: Through an trauma-informed somatic lens, I explore the lived experiences of the entire adoption constellation with a tender emphasis on the adoptee experience.
• 1:11
SPEAKER_00: This podcast goes beyond storytelling into soul telling.
• 1:15
SPEAKER_00: It offers embodied insight, compassionate education, and a path towards awareness, hope, and strength.
• 1:25
SPEAKER_00: Each episode invites listeners to understand adoption more deeply, not just with the mind, but with the nervous system and to reconnect with the truth, identity, and belonging that were always yours to come home to.
• 3:56
  SPEAKER_00: It was undeniable.
• 3:58
SPEAKER_00: And I heard it as clear as day, audibly.
• 4:01
SPEAKER_00: You need to stop working with addiction and start working with adoption.
• 4:06
SPEAKER_00: And I literally sat up and said out loud, what?
• 4:12
SPEAKER_00: What does that even mean, God?
• 4:15
SPEAKER_00: How would I even do that?
• 4:16
SPEAKER_00: And at that point, I had been working with addictive behaviors for about 15 years.
• 4:22
  SPEAKER_00: That was my world.
• 4:24
SPEAKER_00: That was the lens that I saw everything through.
• 4:27
SPEAKER_00: That was how I helped people.
• 4:29
SPEAKER_00: And quite honestly, I was good at it.
• 4:32
SPEAKER_00: But something in that moment shifted for me.
• 4:37
SPEAKER_00: Not in a way where I suddenly had a new plan in the direction that I was going, but in a way where I couldn't unhear what I had just heard.
• 4:49
SPEAKER_00: And if you've ever had a moment like that, you know.
• 4:54
SPEAKER_00: You don't necessarily understand it, but you know it matters.
• 5:01
  SPEAKER_00: So I didn't immediately change everything.
• 5:04
SPEAKER_00: I didn't quit my work and suddenly become an adoption coach.
• 5:08
SPEAKER_00: What I did do was start paying attention.
• 5:13
SPEAKER_00: I started noticing patterns in my own life through that lens of adoption.
• 5:20
SPEAKER_00: I started connecting dots that I hadn't connected before.
• 5:25
SPEAKER_00: And I began taking everything that I had learned through my own 20 plus years of healing and recovery, through my own lived experience as an adopted person and through the work I had already been doing with others.
• 5:40
SPEAKER_00: And I started to put it somewhere.
• 5:43
SPEAKER_00: And that became the first version of revelation.
• 5:49
SPEAKER_00: At the time, I didn't know that I was building a framework.
• 5:54
SPEAKER_00: I didn't know I was creating what would eventually become my seven-phase belonging blueprint, restoring self, my seven-week self-paced program, or revolution, my more comprehensive multimodality coaching program.
• 6:10
SPEAKER_00: But looking back now, that's exactly what was happening.
• 6:16
SPEAKER_00: Revelation was just the beginning.
• 6:18
SPEAKER_00: And what I started to see over and over again with myself and with other adoptees was this.
• 7:23
SPEAKER_00: Not by changing who you are fundamentally, but by helping you discover and uncover what was already and what is already there.
• 7:36
SPEAKER_00: In this seven-day guided experience, you begin to understand why you've been searching for belonging outside of yourself.
• 7:46
SPEAKER_00: The patterns your body learned after early separation, the disconnection, numbness, and overwhelming that you may still feel and how to start coming back to yourself.
• 8:03
SPEAKER_00: Because this isn't about trying harder to fit in.
• 8:08
SPEAKER_00: It's about realizing you were never meant to.
• 8:14
SPEAKER_00: And I want to walk you through what this will actually look like because I've designed this to be fairly simple but intentional.
• 8:24
SPEAKER_00: You'll have seven daily video teachings starting on April 20th.
• 8:29
SPEAKER_00: So at the time of this being released, it'll be a few days from now.
• 8:34
SPEAKER_00: So you can move through this process in a way that actually lands in real time instead of staying stuck in understanding, intellectual understanding and insight without any change.
• 8:47
SPEAKER_00: You'll have access to everything through a private YouTube playlist and portal.
• 8:53
SPEAKER_00: So everything is in one place, easy to return to, without getting lost or overwhelmed.
• 9:01
SPEAKER_00: You'll be inside a private WhatsApp community with the doctees, with other people like me and you, and others going through this at the same time.
• 9:10
SPEAKER_00: So you're not going to do this alone.
• 9:12
SPEAKER_00: And you can be in that space with people who actually understand what this experience feels like.
• 9:18
SPEAKER_00: You'll receive daily reflection prompts so you can begin to connect what you're learning to what has actually been happening inside of you.
• 9:28
SPEAKER_00: There will also be bonus support resources available for you.
• 9:32
SPEAKER_00: So when something comes up, you have the support to stay with it instead of pushing it away or shoving it down or shutting it off.
• 9:41
SPEAKER_00: And at the end, there will be a final video where we discuss where to go from here, what's next.
• 9:49
SPEAKER_00: So that you don't just end the seven days with awareness only, but understand what it looks like to continue this work in a real, grounded way.
• 10:00
  SPEAKER_00: Because here's the truth.
• 10:22
SPEAKER_00: In a lot of situations, through separation, through adaptation, which means they shift in the same way, not through thinking, but through the lived felt sense experience of body-based work.
• 10:39
SPEAKER_00: And what begins to shift when you move through this is you stop questioning yourself.
• 10:47
SPEAKER_00: You start understanding yourself at a whole new level.
• 10:51
SPEAKER_00: You stop searching outside yourself and you start recognizing what's within you.
• 10:57
SPEAKER_00: You begin to feel something that you may not have felt in a long time or ever.
• 11:05
SPEAKER_00: Or in your conscious memory, potentially.
• 11:08
SPEAKER_00: It's a sense of coming back to you.
• 11:14
SPEAKER_00: So this is for you.
• 11:17
SPEAKER_00: If you've spent your whole life trying to figure out where you fit.
• 11:22
SPEAKER_00: If you feel disconnected from yourself, there's kind of this feeling of as if your head is floating on top of your body, but it's not fully connected to your body, almost as if if you could just find the voice to be able to put words to what it is that you're feeling, maybe then you would be connected.
• 11:41
SPEAKER_00: At least that's how I describe it.
• 11:43
SPEAKER_00: If you've looked outside of yourself for belonging all these years, and something inside of you knows you're ready to understand yourself in a deeper way.
• 11:53
SPEAKER_00: And honestly, offering this right now on the anniversary day where all of this started, while also grieving the loss of my mother-in-law, it just feels meaningful.
• 12:09
SPEAKER_00: Because this work isn't separate from real life, it happens in the middle of it, in the quiet moments, the heavy moments like I'm experiencing now, the in-between moments.
• 12:31
SPEAKER_00: So if something in you has been resonating, this is the beginning of that.
• 12:41
SPEAKER_00: We start on April 20th, and I made this really accessible.
• 12:45
SPEAKER_00: It's only$27 because I don't want cost to be a thing that keeps someone from starting.
• 12:55
SPEAKER_00: You can find the link in the show notes for sure.
• 12:59
SPEAKER_00: It will also be available if you just DM me the word ready and I will send you the links directly so that you can get details.
• 13:09
SPEAKER_00: If it feels easier to just reach out to me that way, go for it.
• 13:13
SPEAKER_00: I'm always available and willing to have conversations with you in the DMs.
• 13:21
SPEAKER_00: Wherever you are today, I just want to remind you that you are not behind you've just never been shown this before.
• 13:33
SPEAKER_00: And I think that's really important to understand that this is new.
• 13:39
SPEAKER_00: When we're combining different modalities and pulling things together, it's not something that is easy to walk alone.
• 13:50
  SPEAKER_00: We need a guide.
• 13:52
SPEAKER_00: And that's why I'm really excited about being able to provide this for you in a guided way.
• 13:59
SPEAKER_00: So, like I said, please feel free to message me the word ready and I will send you the link to be able to get the details for what we're going to be starting on April 20th.
• 14:12
SPEAKER_00: Also, I want to remind you all about the upcoming live in-person event with Dr.
• 14:19
SPEAKER_00: Liz DeBetta and I on May 23rd and 24th in Moscow, Idaho.
• 14:25
SPEAKER_00: I will also link all of those details in the show notes as well, so that if you have any questions, you can find the answers there.
• 14:34
SPEAKER_00: And of course, if you have any other questions about that, again, please feel free to go ahead and DM me even the word retreat so that I know that's what you have questions about.
• 14:45
SPEAKER_00: And I will be more than happy to have a conversation with you or even set up a call if that would be helpful for you.
• 14:53
SPEAKER_00: I'm really excited to start this live experience together soon, and I hope to see a lot of you there.
• 15:03
SPEAKER_00: If anything in this episode landed with you and you know somebody who is an adopted person who would benefit from it, I encourage you and invite you to share it with them.
• 15:15
SPEAKER_00: And if you feel so inclined, I would really love it if you could rate the podcast and even leave a comment about how it supported you or helped you.
• 15:26
SPEAKER_00: That will also help it to be seen by more eyes and audiences and in more countries.
• 15:33
SPEAKER_00: I think the last time I checked, I think it was like 40 different countries that I have been listened to in, which is so encouraging.
• 15:40
SPEAKER_00: So, all of that to say, you know where to find me.
• 15:43
SPEAKER_00: I'm on all of the socials.
• 15:45
SPEAKER_00: My website is also in the show notes.
• 15:48
  SPEAKER_00: I'm I'm on YouTube as well.
• 15:49
SPEAKER_00: You can watch these in video if you want to, or just listen to them as you're taking a walk with your dog or driving in your car.
• 15:56
SPEAKER_00: That's what podcasts started as for us to be able to listen to as we do things in this world of hustle.
• 16:03
SPEAKER_00: But what I'd like to encourage you to do is as you listen to this, just tune in to your own body and notice the sensations that you feel as you hear the things that I am saying, the things that I am sharing.
• 16:16
SPEAKER_00: And if you notice a pull towards or a leaning in, remember that is your body telling you something.
• 16:26
SPEAKER_00: And just tune into that and notice.
• 16:28
SPEAKER_00: And reach out if you need to.
• 16:30
SPEAKER_00: Like I said, I will be here happy to answer any questions that you have and look forward to spending time with you guys in Revelation Live.
• 16:39
SPEAKER_00: And I'll talk to you all soon.
• 16:41
SPEAKER_00: See you next Thursday, and have a great rest of your week.
• 16:46
  SPEAKER_00: Peace.
