  Kindness that echoes Have you ever walked away from a moment
• 0:15
  of kindness and wondered if it even mattered?

  You showed up, you helped, you spoke gently, and yet there was
• 0:21
  no applause, no thank you, no obvious result.
• 0:25
  It's easy to feel like kindness is wasted in a world that
• 0:28
  rewards being loud, aggressive, or self focused.
• 0:32
  But God sees kindness very differently.
• 0:35
  Proverbs Chapter 11, verses 16 to 17 tell us something
• 0:39
  surprising. It says a gracious woman gets
• 0:42
  honor and violent men get riches.
• 0:45
  A man who is kind benefits himself, but a cruel man hurts
• 0:48
  himself. Kindness isn't weakness, it's
• 0:51
  not losing ground. God says kindness actually comes
• 0:54
  back to you. It shapes your character,
• 0:58
  protects your heart, and leaves you better than before.

  Cruelty, on the other hand, always turns inward and causes
• 1:04
  damage, even if it looks successful on the outside.

  Psalm 24 lifts our perspective even higher.

  Psalm chapter 24 verse one says the earth is the Lord's and the
• 1:16
  fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein.

  Every person you meet belongs to God.
• 1:23
  Every life carries value because it's His.
• 1:26
  When you choose kindness, you're not just being nice.
• 1:29
  You're reflecting God's heart toward people he deeply loves.
• 1:33
  Kindness becomes an act of worship, a way of acknowledging
• 1:36
  that this world and everyone in it belongs to Him.
• 1:39
  Then we see kindness in action in Acts chapter 28.
• 1:44
  Paul has survived A shipwreck, danger, and exhaustion.
• 1:47
  He arrives on an island with nothing to offer but his
• 1:50
  presence. Yet the people there show
• 1:52
  extraordinary kindness, and Acts chapter 28, verse 10 says that
• 1:58
  they honored them greatly and provided everything they needed
• 2:01
  for the next part of the journey.

  Their kindness didn't just meet a momentary need.
• 2:06
  It changed the story. It helped carry the mission
• 2:09
  forward. That's the part we often don't
• 2:11
  see. Kindness echoes.
• 2:13
  It ripples out farther than the moment it's given.
• 2:17
  A gentle response can soften a hard heart.
• 2:19
  A small act can restore hope. A patient word can keep someone
• 2:23
  from giving up. Even when it goes unnoticed by
• 2:25
  people, it is never unnoticed by God.

  You may never fully know how your kindness effects others,
• 2:32
  but God does, and He uses it to reveal His goodness in ways you
• 2:37
  may only understand. On the other side of eternity,
• 2:40
  kindness plants seeds of grace. It creates space for healing.
• 2:44
  It reflects a Kingdom that works very differently from the world.
• 2:48
  So don't underestimate the power of a kind choice.
• 2:52
  Don't dismiss small acts done in love in God's hands.
• 2:55
  Kindness always carries more weight than you think, and it
• 2:58
  leaves a mark that lasts far longer than the moment.

  Let's pray, Let's pray. Heavenly Father, thank you for
• 3:05
  the kindness you show me every single day.
• 3:08
  Thank you for your patience, Your mercy, and Your grace
• 3:10
  toward my life. Help me to see people the way
• 3:14
  you see them and to treat them with compassion and care.
• 3:17
  Teach me to choose kindness, even when it's unnoticed or
• 3:20
  inconvenient. Use my words and actions to
• 3:24
  reflect your heart so that others can experience Your
• 3:26
  goodness through me. In Jesus name, Amen.

  When Paul saw them, he thanked God and took courage.

  When we entered into Rome, the centurion delivered the

  prisoners to the captain of the guard, but Paul was allowed to

  stay by himself with the soldier who guarded him.

  After three days Paul called together those who were the

  leaders of the Jews. When they had come together, he

  said to them, I Brothers, though I had done nothing against the

  people or the customs of our fathers, still was delivered

  prisoner from Jerusalem into the hands of the Romans, who, when

  they had examined me, desired to set me free, because there was

  no cause of death in me. But when the Jews spoke against

  it, I was constrained to appeal to Caesar, not that I had

  anything about which to accuse my nation.

  For this 'cause therefore I asked to see you and to speak

  with you. For because of the hope of

  Israel I am bound with this chain.

  They said to him, We neither received letters from Judea
• 8:37
  concerning you, nor did any of the brothers come here and

  report or speak any evil of you. But we desire to hear from you

  what you think. For as concerning this sect it

  is known to us that everywhere it is spoken against.

  When they had appointed him a day, many people came to him at
• 8:53
  his lodging. He explained to them testifying
• 8:56
  about God's Kingdom, and persuading them concerning

  Jesus, both from the law of Moses and from the prophets.

  From morning until evening some believed the things which were

  spoken, and some disbelieved when they didn't agree among

  themselves. They departed after Paul had

  spoken one message. The Holy Spirit spoke rightly

  through Isaiah the prophet to our fathers, saying, Go to this

  people and say, In hearing you will hear, but will in no way
• 9:21
  understand. In seeing you will see, but will
• 9:24
  in no way perceive. For this people's heart has
• 9:26
  grown callous. Their ears are dull of hearing
• 9:29
  their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their
• 9:32
  eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their heart, and
• 9:35
  would turn again. Then I would heal them.

  Be it known, therefore, to you that the salvation of God is
• 9:40
  sent to the nations, and they will listen.
• 9:43
  When he had said these words, the Jews departed, having a
• 9:46
  great dispute among themselves. Paul stayed two whole years in
• 9:50
  his own rented house and received all who were coming to
• 9:53
  him, preaching God's Kingdom and teaching the things concerning
• 9:56
  the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness, without hindrance.
