- 0:00Let's do it. We enter the judgment zone hoping not in here we are
- 0:04well welcome aboard the judgment zone. It's weekly your chance to get a little
- 0:08judge because generally we don't condone judging as criticism. But here it's welcome.
- 0:14So seven oh one two eight zero one ninety eight seven would love to know
- 0:17your thoughts. You can text, you can call on the situation that Charlotte
- 0:21has found herself in. She's on the phone now, Charlotte, what's going
- 0:25on? So I just turned forty a few weeks ago, and happy birthday,
- 0:29Well, thank you. I feel like you guys are more enthusiastic than
- 0:32my boyfriend of three years, because that's not good. Yeah. No,
- 0:37he was so busy, you know, being worried about the wild card games
- 0:42that he couldn't even pay attention to me on my special day. So he's
- 0:45a big football fan. Oh, he's a huge football fan. And I
- 0:49know that's his thing, and for like six months out of the year,
- 0:52I know I'm going to lose him every weekend to his teams and his friends
- 0:57and whatever. But for my fortieth birthday, I specifically asked him to be
- 1:00by my side to support me. And guys. He wasn't present at all.
- 1:04He didn't make it special, He didn't do anything out of the ordinary
- 1:08for me. He was just so concerned about his games. And it really
- 1:11really hurt my feelings. And you know, when I told him how I
- 1:15felt, he literally just told me, you're forty years old. You're being
- 1:19really sensitive a birthday. Tell me. He didn't say you're being sensitive,
- 1:23that's verbatim what he said. So, Charlotte, was there a big birthday
- 1:27party? Did he skip out on an actual event or did you just want
- 1:32him with you? And he went to the bar instead. So we decided
- 1:36to have a big blowout at my place. You know, I thought he
- 1:38would help me set up. I thought he would, you know, get
- 1:42the cake for me the day of, like all the things that you know
- 1:45a boyfriend would do. You mean, because it's your birthday and you shouldn't
- 1:49be doing any of that on your special day. He did nothing but sit
- 1:52on his phone. You know, all my friends were around. He was
- 1:55literally in the corner with some of his buddies, just like talking about this.
- 1:57This is brutal. And so now you're wondering, do you dump him?
- 2:00Do you have to take extreme measures or are you just kind of wondering
- 2:05how do you address this situation. We've been together three years. Guys,
- 2:07there's no ring on my finger. I love him, but if you know
- 2:10the NFL is going to come between the two of us, I don't know
- 2:14if I could deal with this. Well, Charlotte, you're in the right
- 2:15place. We are in the judgment zone where we'll get a little judge.
- 2:19All right, Well, thank you for your help. I'll be listening very
- 2:22eagerly. All right, thank you, Charlotte. Amanda, guya gotta choose
- 2:25this football over his girlfriend fortieth birthday? What do you think the fortieth birthday
- 2:30comes once in a lifetime? No episode is your thirty ninth and your thirty
- 2:32eighth? What? Do we just love it? Because it's a four and
- 2:35a zero yes. And the thing is that she was very open about the
- 2:38fact that she wanted his attention for that day. And you should be able
- 2:43to find that balance. You should. I don't care what it is.
- 2:45It's somebody you love. You've been together with them, They've told you their
- 2:47feelings, they've been open about it. You reciprocate, all right? Seven
- 2:52on one two eight h one ninety eight seven we're in the judgment zone.
- 2:54We got to call out here. What do you think? I think she
- 2:55shouldn't feel bad at all? Is said. Honestly, I think she needs
- 3:00to break up with this guy because oh one thing, Oh yeah, oh
- 3:06yeah, because I mean I love football just as much as the next guy.
- 3:09But honestly, she should be his priority. A fortieth birthday only happens
- 3:14once in a lifetime. What this guy? I love this energy. Don't
- 3:19you think it's a little bit dramatic? I mean again, fortieth birthday.
- 3:23We're not talking like a sweet sixteen here. I mean there's a bit of
- 3:25a red flag for me that it's such a big deal. Well, you
- 3:29only turn forty. There's what twenty first birthday, thirty, forty, fifty
- 3:34sixty. I mean those are milestone birthday, Amanda. It's the playoffs.
- 3:37Oh my gosh. Okay, Well, hey dude, thank you so much
- 3:39for the call. We appreciate it. There's one reasonable man on earth.
- 3:45Thank you, Thank you very much. What do you think? Enter the
- 3:47judgment zone now? Seven to one to two, eight zero one ninety eight
- 3:50Sevenike it a Manda in the morning, big ninety eight point seven. You
- 3:53know we've been married, Amanda, you and I how long we've been married?
- 3:57Now? Not you and me? But wouldn't you say though? The
- 4:00one of the best parts about getting married, at least for me anyway,
- 4:02was like deciding the music for the wedding. Yes, I mean the ceremony.
- 4:05Then of course the first dance. Well, historically, or at least
- 4:10for the last eight years, the most popular first dance, the wedding song
- 4:14at weddings has been the exact same for seven years. Until this year it
- 4:18was just dethroned. Okay, so we'll get to that in a second.
- 4:21Butte, okay, what was your wedding song? So our first dance?
- 4:25And you know what, I love to do just like the nostalgia but especially
- 4:28Valentine's is coming up. Do you ever just like listen to the music and
- 4:30it just takes you back. You're like, gush, this is our song.
- 4:33Absolutely. I mean, that's the joy of it, right. Every
- 4:35time you hear it, you just no matter where you're at, if you're
- 4:38at a bar, if you're in the car, at the dentist office,
- 4:41you just kind of kind of reach over and you give him a little squeeze.
- 4:44Yeah. Do you just know you don't have to say anything. Ours
- 4:46is kind of like an underground song. A lot of times you don't hear
- 4:48it anywhere. It's from Ryan Hurd, country artist, and it's called Diamonds
- 4:53or Twice. Isn't that guy a known piece of garbage? No, he
- 4:55was married to Maren Moore. Did he do something though? No? I
- 4:58think he before I play his music on our program. No, I think
- 5:01he want to. She decided it's not working out. Okay, gotcha here.
- 5:05You know, like a typical situation, it doesn't matter. You know,
- 5:12you don't need to protect him if he hit something, just say it.
- 5:15I feel like you're trying to protect Bryan Hurd. He sang our wedding
- 5:19song. Okay, oh yeah, he can do no wrong. Yeah.
- 5:24It's a catchy little diddy. It's super cute. You know, some people
- 5:27it just seems like it's a genre of its own. Wedding music. Obviously,
- 5:30the guy who has the number one song here we're about to talk about,
- 5:31he sort of mastered it. But for us anyway, this was the
- 5:34one song in our wedding because I got to choose like the ceremony music,
- 5:39and my band performed at the YadA YadA. But Lauren insisted that this be
- 5:43our first dance, okay, because I wanted some like deep cut blank on
- 5:45eighty two, course of course, but we did settle. On my gosh,
- 5:53I mean, it's just an all time banger. It is. This
- 5:56takes me back to seventh grade high school dances. Oh yeah, this was
- 6:00the first CD I ever had. I mean I had no qualms with it,
- 6:02for sure, but savage guard and he just can't go wrong. No,
- 6:06Oh my gosh, I didn't realize that was your first. Oh you
- 6:09were there. I mean you were physically there. I was physically there.
- 6:11I think I was mentally at the bar during your first dance or the bathroom,
- 6:15I can't remember. The only person the pregame my ceremony was a man.
- 6:18Oh my gosh. Yeah, we had a good time. I'm just
- 6:23teasing, all right. So the number one song, the number one wedding
- 6:26song over the last seven years been dethroned. So and he guesses, Oh
- 6:30my god, and IDJ weddings, I see it. I would like seventy
- 6:33percent of the weddings I do. This is the first dance I honestly cannot
- 6:36think of. Is the one that I keep thinking of because it seemed like
- 6:40it was everybody is Brian Adams. Everything I do, I do it for
- 6:43you. But that is so back in the eighties nineties. I don't know.
- 6:46I mean, it's still still class. This is Brian Adams so good.
- 6:50It's a heartbreaker, you know that funny thing about that though, And
- 6:54this is a good one for a first dance but it's not even his best
- 6:57first dance song in my opinion. No, this is best. I love.
- 7:02Anybody can redo this and it's still a jam. This is such a
- 7:06good song. I did like the techno version that was on Dance Dance Revolution
- 7:11all right, number one wedding song until this year, for the last seven
- 7:14years. Of course. Yes, Ed Scheeran's perfect Ed Scheron has just mastered
- 7:19it. Because if it's not perfect by Ed Shecheron, it's thinking out loud
- 7:23by Ed Sheeron. I've seen it so many weddings. But for some reason,
- 7:28back from the Dead and taking over the number one spot of the most
- 7:31popular wedding song, Back from the Dead, whoa for the first time Elvis
- 7:40on the top spot with Calpa in Love with You. It's probably because of
- 7:44the movie. Has there been multiple movies at this point. Yeah, I
- 7:46think Austin Butler kind of rebrought back the youngsters to go, oh, yeah,
- 7:51this is a good song. Yeah, I mean it is. Of
- 7:54course, his voice is a little ridiculous. Woh how can that? Does
- 8:00the groom go? I'm also you really want to give frisky about it?
- 8:05Ta get a minute in the morning. Seven just getting a little judgy,
- 8:09aren't we We're in the judgment zone, so it's okay. But we just
- 8:11talked to our girl Charlotte, just to give you the synopsis. She's having
- 8:16a tough time because her boyfriends been dating this guy for three years. He
- 8:20was very absent on her fortieth birthday party, and she made it clear that
- 8:22she wanted to have a very special day and he was too obsessed with the
- 8:26wild card weekend of the NFL to even be present. And she was very
- 8:31honest too about the fact that she understands that that's his thing. She totally
- 8:35gets it, Oh does she? Yes, she understands, Hey, for
- 8:39these six months he's doing his thing. He can hang out with the guys.
- 8:41But she specifically asked because it was her fortieth birthday. Hey, yo,
- 8:46girlfriend alert, I'd like for you to pay attention do something whatever,
- 8:50And yes, she shouldn't have to be doing her own birthday party. Honestly,
- 8:54it's such a red flag for me that if she knew that he was
- 8:56obsessed with the team. Honestly, from my I don't think there's anything in
- 9:01this world that gives me the joy of Packers playoff football does anymore. So
- 9:05you're seeing a red flag. She should have moved her birthday. It should
- 9:09not the fact that's going on at the same time as the game. Come
- 9:11on now seven on one two eight one seven. If you want to weigh
- 9:15in a lot of people chiming in on Facebook and you said red flag alert,
- 9:18there's a lot of ladies saying red flag alert, prioritizing an individual's hobbies
- 9:22over a person family, investments, attention. It's only been three years.
- 9:26Run girl, Run. That came from Emily. But then there is a
- 9:31guide chime in in. His name is Austin. He says, here's the
- 9:33thing. Sometimes women can exaggerate things. He didn't make it special, and
- 9:39men can too, Yes, but it is twenty people do in general.
- 9:43He goes on to say, he didn't make it special. Does a birthday
- 9:46have to be special? Did he say happy birthday to you, make you
- 9:50breakfast, lunch, dinner. If not, then yeah, you can be
- 9:52upset about it. But to be honest, I don't think he needs to
- 9:56bend over backwards on your birthday. Absolutely not. That's what I'm saying.
- 9:58Red flag people who are obsessed with their birthdays because Okay, it's the forty.
- 10:03I get that's a round number, and it's a very exciting one.
- 10:05But is it gonna be the same come forty one, forty two? God
- 10:09forbid the number ends in a five, because now we're gonna have to just
- 10:11stop the world. Yeah. See, and I birthdays should be celebrated if
- 10:16you want. If the birthday person wants it to be a deal, let
- 10:20them have their day, no feeling any other day. You can move it
- 10:24all right, Big ninety eight point seven? What's your name? Holly?
- 10:28Hi, Holly? What do you think about this girl situation? I think
- 10:30she's pulling an amber herd. Whoa baby go? That's a total left field.
- 10:39I haven't had an amber heard of. I know my brain is trying
- 10:41to remember exactly we've heard this story before, haven't we The next thing,
- 10:46you know, guess what she's going to be doing? Oh boy, eye
- 10:50dukie in the bed sheets. Is that what we're thinking? All right,
- 10:52well, that's an interesting perspective. Thank you for calling. Wait, yeah,
- 10:56I guess that would be the natural next step. No, the thing
- 11:00is she was so open with him about it, like I want you to
- 11:03do whatever it is. On that day. He was there. Let's be
- 11:05clear. He was at the party. Was he watching the game the whole
- 11:09time on his phone? Yes, But I just went through a similar thing.
- 11:11Remember we talked about my wife's sister's thirtieth birthday. Oh that's right,
- 11:16exact same time as the Packer playoff game. And by the way, they
- 11:18should have beat the forty nine ers. It should be them playing this Sunday.
- 11:20However, yeah, I watched the game the whole time, but I
- 11:22was there, and that, to me, I feel like, is enough
- 11:26different. You weren't the birthday boyfriend, you know what I mean. I
- 11:30feel like that makes a big difference. So all right, well, final
- 11:33judgment. What do we think? I think I think you don't get to
- 11:35make the judgment here. She I don't think you break up with them.
- 11:39I think that is over the top. But I think you really do need
- 11:43to sit down and evaluate. I think if you're her, I think you
- 11:46apologize and buying tickets here to the home opener of his favorite teams game next
- 11:52year. That's it, final, judge. He needs to just apologize and
- 11:54understand that he was in the wrong. And Valentine's Day is coming up.
- 11:58Make that really there you go? Get ready ready, that's he is piping
- 12:01hot today. I know, Amanda Stills, let's see looks see well.
- 12:09Travis KELCEI of course gearing up for the super Bowl, and he is making
- 12:11the media rounds. Everybody wants to talk to him, and a lot of
- 12:15it yesterday was about Taylor Swift, her Grammy win and that huge announcement she
- 12:18made. Listen to how cute he is. She's unbelievable. She's she's rewriting
- 12:22the history books herself. I told her, I'll have to hold up my
- 12:26end of the bargain and come home some hardware too. I have heard some
- 12:28of it, yes, and it is unbelievable. I can't wait for her
- 12:31to shake up the world when it finally drops. Oh, I can't give
- 12:35you anything. I leave, I leave, I leave that up to her.
- 12:37I just can't imagine being him and having to like, of course you
- 12:41want your spouse to be successful and you want to encourage them. But it's
- 12:43like, at what point is enough enough? Like how often does he have
- 12:46to tell her how proud he is, because it would just be never ending,
- 12:50you know, all the awards, all the accolades, Like, at
- 12:52what point do you just go, Okay, it is what it is.
- 12:54I'm not going to take congratulations in Yeah, but it's still so fresh,
- 12:56So I think he is giddy. I gear he wakes up sometimes and just
- 13:01goes, hang on, do I just want a text message from Taylor Swift?
- 13:03Like it didn't? Didn't Tay just say good morning, baby, I
- 13:07love you, have a great day. Like how many pinch me moments he
- 13:09must have though, for example, like if they're just at the house and
- 13:13she's in the bathroom stinking it up, Like what a weird, surreal moment.
- 13:16Not to mention, he has Jason Kelsey as his brother, who's just
- 13:20amazing, and Mama Donna the interviews that are coming with her right now.
- 13:26Nope, Nope, she is the OG for me. I'm loving her.
- 13:28What a misuse of og. See, I'm trying to be cool. She's
- 13:33a really cool mom. You like her great? It's not. I don't
- 13:39think he's as like shocked by the fact that his mom, his mama Donna,
- 13:43as he is dating Taylor Sweft, but just from a year ago.
- 13:46So this time last year, we were talking about, oh my gosh,
- 13:50the Kelsey brothers facing off for the super Bowl, like that was the whole
- 13:52story. Taylor Swift wasn't even in the mix. And now it's like this
- 13:56whole other, Like this is just a different chapter in your life. Yeah,
- 14:00it's much more interesting. Amazing what a year can do for all of
- 14:01you are out there going, gosh, you know, I'm really down in
- 14:03the dumps. Things aren't doing really good. Fast forward next year you could
- 14:11be who knows why that's so wise? What an unexpected bid of wisdom from
- 14:18Amanda. I just really need to motivate people sometimes. All right, justin
- 14:22Timberlake, he is maybe maybe gonna sit down with Oprah. So there's some
- 14:28rumors, that's we're speculation. Right after Britney Spears book, he was ready
- 14:31to tell all. He was fired up, he was upset. He decided
- 14:33to take the route of let's just ignore the situation. He knew he was
- 14:37coming out with new music, the old high Road yeap the old high Road.
- 14:41Well, now, he was hoping that his music would just speak for
- 14:43itself, but he is so unhappy with the things that have gone down and
- 14:48he's ready to speak. So there's some new rumors he could sit down.
- 14:52I don't think it's a good idea, mainly because of the mental health situation.
- 14:56This would not be good for Britney Spears more wisdom, right, you
- 15:00know it's serious though, If you plan to sit down with Oprah, that's
- 15:03that's when. When as soon as they have a seat with Oprah, that's
- 15:07I'm trying to think of the last The last sit down Oprah interview was Prince
- 15:11Harry and maybe yeah, I was a juicy boy. I don't know what
- 15:15would Justin say, though, he'd say, what the heck, Brittany,
- 15:18I mean because I'm true sides to every story, and you know, he
- 15:22could just unload a bunch of juicy details about back then probably currently. What
- 15:26if he came on said, yeah, she's been like texting me like crazy,
- 15:28trying to get back together. I mean, do keep in mind it
- 15:31was about a year and a half ago. Do you remember that video of
- 15:35her in her bedroom dancing and it was like a guest bedroom and behind each
- 15:39one behind which one. Listen to me, you're going to cry laughing if
- 15:43you don't know about this. In the background on the bed there was a
- 15:48pillow of justin Timberlake and instinct like these were old school remember in high school
- 15:52in home mech you'd make your own pillow. Oh, Britt, yeah,
- 15:54I know. So it's there's so much going on there. There's just a
- 15:58lot of layers. I think we just let this be and move on.
- 16:02I think he has a seat justin Timberlake Brook. By the way, did
- 16:04add some more concert dates hit refresh. It's going into October for like a
- 16:08mini second leg, closest one to a still in Chicago. So hang on,
- 16:12let's call the Fargo Dome. See what we can get going here,
- 16:15because we got for a weekend and ship and Chai town. I'd rather than
- 16:21come a little closer to me, that would be real nice. Uh.
- 16:23Sure? He is getting aho all kinds of likes on Instagram this morning.
- 16:30He is modeling for Kim Kardashians skims. So he was bearing his body and
- 16:34man, is he looking like he did back in the nineties. I haven't
- 16:37seen him in a while. I guess in this light. Yeah, you're
- 16:41all revved up this morning, I know, like what you saw him?
- 16:44Yeah, I'm excited. I think Sunday's performance is going to be fantastic.
- 16:48Will he do any of the performance in his underwear? Well? I remember
- 16:52when Maroon five they had the Super Bowl halftime performance, and it was kind
- 16:56of towards the end when Adam Levine saved the show and took got his T
- 17:00shirt. There were some people who thought it was highly inappropriate. I was
- 17:03one of them. I'm like, gosh, how could you possibly take off
- 17:06your show to see those abs? I know, so usher, I hope.
- 17:10I hope he wears a turtle neck, a turtle neck and uh i'm
- 17:14he has that white suit though that he wears sometimes. Oh classy. I
- 17:18can't wait. It's got so many bangers. Okay, So, Alicia Keys,
- 17:21do you think she's gonna pop up at all for my boo? Do
- 17:22you think little er Sure John and Luda gonna do it again? Alicia Keys?
- 17:26Wouldn't that be amazing though? Did she already do it? No?
- 17:30No? Maybe she did the national anthem? Maybe that was it. I
- 17:33don't know. Maybe what they should do is have little John do the national
- 17:38anthem and have Alicia keys off on stage. Yay, Yay America. No,
- 17:45why did you sing the national the actual one? You start? Oh,
- 17:52I don't even know what he would sing like. I can't even given
- 17:56to me. Everybody's waiting. Yeah, oh say god like in a minute
- 18:04in the morning. On Big Nut. People roughly avoid using public restrooms.
- 18:11It will go home and listen. I agree. The difference between using a
- 18:15public restroom versus the comfort of your own home where you can just like undress,
- 18:21kick up, take your time. It's night and day. Bit b,
- 18:26I'm gonna need you to back up here. You fully undressed to go
- 18:30to the bathroom. I'll take my shirt off. Yeah, what are you
- 18:33getting sweaty? How long are you in there? Well, that's the beauty
- 18:34of it, as long as I please. And yeah, it's easier if
- 18:37you're undressed. You don't the hang down of a shirt, just getting that
- 18:41out of the equation altogether. And pants like restricting how wide your ankles can
- 18:45be apart? Oh, it's a nightmare, you know, Thank gosh,
- 18:48What do you do? You have like an automan in there that you put
- 18:51your feet up to. Geez, there's a stool. What do you You
- 18:55wouldn't agree? That is just I pop in there really quick. I do
- 19:00my deed anywhere, anytime, any place. Don't care because it's just something
- 19:03you gotta do and I'm out. I'm not spending time. It's not a
- 19:07sanctuary in a way. Guys are so weird about this. My husband is
- 19:11you. I'll sometimes I'll be like, hey, what are you up to?
- 19:15It was like I had had this sneak home quick. I'm like,
- 19:18really, like you is it? And it's not that you have a bath
- 19:22like our office bathrooms are great? Like who cares? Are they great?
- 19:26Depends on who is in there before you? I guess so yeah, I
- 19:29don't know. There are certain public restrooms that are nice experiences. There's very
- 19:33few, like, for example, some of the worst ones you'll experience.
- 19:36And I'm not targeting any specific place, but bars downtown. You know who
- 19:40you are. There's one in particular that I could actually hang on. Let
- 19:44me scratch yep. I can smell it. It's so gross, but ultimately
- 19:48there I will tell you when you go to a good bathroom and the new
- 19:52uh what is gen z below us? Correct? Yeah? Gen Z is
- 19:56all about like the Instagram selfies. When you find a good bathroom, the
- 20:00lighting and all of it. Sometimes they have they're nice and they have like
- 20:04all the toila trees and stuff ready for you. One that I've always loved,
- 20:07and they were like the first one's Lucky thirteen. They had a really
- 20:11cool bathroom. There's a few downtown that are really glamorous. Now you wouldn't
- 20:14know much about this, but I'll give you a little inside into the men's
- 20:17room. They got the urinals. They go all the way to the floor,
- 20:18which is just like it makes perfect sense. I thought it was because
- 20:22don't they have a game? Okay, well tell me I'm somebody lying to
- 20:26you about a game. No, I've heard this, that Lucky thirteen at
- 20:30some point. I think they used to have a game so that guys knew
- 20:33where to aim and that way if it got wet, it would like give
- 20:38you like a jackpot number or something. I have heard of games and men's
- 20:42bathrooms where so it's helping you aim, so you're not going on the floor,
- 20:47so it'll change a color or do something to make you guys excited.
- 20:51Am I crazy? There's not that I would know that there is not a
- 20:55game. I would love a game. There's a game. I don't think
- 20:56it's necessary. I don't think I need that another thing. I need that
- 21:00excitement. There is something interactive in men's bathrooms that I've heard that gets you
- 21:04guys all excited to go to the right place. That's what I've always said,
- 21:07public restrooms should be more interactive trending. Now here's what you need to
- 21:14know. Man, waking up. Just some really sad news you guys.
- 21:18Toby Keith he died last night. He was only sixty two. He did
- 21:22reveal about eighteen months ago he had stomach cancer and he was surrounded last night
- 21:26with his family. Short statement was released overnight that he fought his fight with
- 21:30grace and courage. But justin icon, all the music, all the jams,
- 21:34just the memory. Yeah, and I'm not a country guy at all,
- 21:37but growing up it was hard to escape the Toby Keys of the world.
- 21:40I mean, the guy had several hits and loved America obviously, and
- 21:45yes, made a pretty dang good restaurant too. So so sad, young,
- 21:49way too young for sure. And more depressing news. King Charleston diagnosed
- 21:55with some sort of cancer, so he actually went in for some sort of
- 21:57treatment for an enlarged prostate. They are saying that the former cancer is not
- 22:02pros day cancer. They have not specified exactly what kind, but our thoughts
- 22:06and pairs are with King Charles as well. Want good news today or what
- 22:10do you got anything else? In the tragic health? Seriously, let's talk
- 22:15about the super Bowl. You can talk about the halftime show, you can
- 22:18talk about the teams. If you're not for any of it, let's just
- 22:21talk about the food. It's always fun to throw a Super Bowl party,
- 22:23whether it's the Little Smokies, meat balls, wings, buffalo chicken dip,
- 22:30you know, all the foods those are. I mean, that's kind of
- 22:33the go tos, right, did you say bag of chips? No?
- 22:34I know that's your go to from the gas station. Do you even bring
- 22:38a dip or do you just go Dorido's? Because if you're inviting Pike to
- 22:41a super Bowl party, he's just gonna bring like five beers out of the
- 22:45six pack and maybe a bag of chips, that's right, and all that
- 22:48other food he mentioned. You can dip the chips in that. Okay,
- 22:52that's a beautiful thing. The top Well, I had never heard this before,
- 22:56but there's a new survey, sportsmans have said that there are certain foods
- 23:00that they eat because they're superstitious. So, according to the survey, pizza,
- 23:03burgers, wings, hot dogs all bring in the good vibes. But
- 23:07if you show up to a super Bowl party and there's deviled eggs, garlic,
- 23:10bread, ice cream, some sort of charcouterie board with like cheese,
- 23:14nuts, fruits, don't bring a charco super Bowl party, first of all,
- 23:18But ice cream at a super Bowl party, that's a good idea.
- 23:21And what else did you say? Deviled eggs? Yum? But you mentioned
- 23:25hot dogs is some sort of good luck charm. I guess I've never seen
- 23:27a hot dog at a super Bowl. I think they're thinking little smokies,
- 23:30right. But another one, so I've been telling you about, like the
- 23:33chili charcoterie, but a hot dog bar that would be good if somebody had
- 23:37a bunch of hot dogs and then you could add all your toppings with chili.
- 23:41I used to know this place that they had a two am hot dog
- 23:42buffet. What what were the toppings? Hot dogs? Catch up mustard?
- 23:55You know? Did they did they have onions? No? Relish, no,
- 24:00no, So it was just it was just the dog, the bun,
- 24:06the works, you know, just kind of the whole thing. Now,
- 24:10I got the big question, is full length hot dog or are we
- 24:12talking just a little shorty because there's no shame in mine doubling up the dog?
- 24:19Absolutely not. But the thing was, it didn't start till two am.
- 24:23Anyway. You know, like an ambassador hot dog. Love them,
- 24:26but they're too small, so you gotta add two, you gotta add you
- 24:30really double up hot dogs for the ambassadors. Yeah, it's got to fill
- 24:33the bun. So you you are too wide, not lengthwise, not tip
- 24:37to tip, I'll go, I'll like, I'll stack it on top.
- 24:41Yeah, so it's like really double barrels. The old Revolver of Hope.
- 24:47Lincoln's not in the area. Oh, I gotta try that. Who knew
- 24:56a hot dog conversation could get so out of hand? Anyway, if you're
- 25:00thinking about Super Bowl snacks, just holler at us. We've got a ton
- 25:03of great ideas. Story right. You know you're doing the right thing,
- 25:07because sometimes it does get sort of lost in the bread. Like there's times
- 25:10I just skipped the butt altogether because I'm like, I'd rather just take that
- 25:12dog and dip it yeah, all right, I was the weather weather little
- 25:19foggy, freezing, drizzled today. Hi you forty one, So do take
- 25:22a little extra time driving home from work. The roads could get a little
- 25:25slippery. Otherwise, looking at our forecast, we're gonna hit probably fifty tomorrow,
- 25:29but it's looking like rain pretty much roughout the week, and it might
- 25:32turn over to snow. Haven't talked about that lately. Friday into Saturday.
- 25:36Oh, I get Amanda in the morning, come on, get up on
- 25:40dig. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it turns
- 25:44out, Amanda, we have believed in a myth our entire lives that running
- 25:48helps you lose weight. I know this is going to sound crazy. Are
- 25:49you insane? Because of course it does. It sounded crazy when I read
- 25:52it, But apparently scientists have concluded on some new research that running will not
- 25:59help you lose weight. However, there's a little caveat here. Run.
- 26:02I would like to think there's a huge caveat. What it does is prevent
- 26:06weight gain, which we can all agree is good. However, they says
- 26:10like that, kind of like, yeah, no, no running if you're
- 26:12looking for gains, like Jim bro kind of gains running. It's actually I
- 26:18think they kind of avoid running. Okay, you know what I mean.
- 26:19It's all about bulking up and cardios. Not for them, Well, no,
- 26:22they want cali. They don't want to burn calorie waste calories on running
- 26:26man a lot. That's if you're trying to get big. But this study,
- 26:30though, it says that basically your body adapts to right away, you
- 26:33might lose a little bit of fat mass, but then eventually your body's going
- 26:36to learn how to store the fat because it doesn't want to starve. Essentially,
- 26:40so you can think our ancestors who were wearing like twigging berries for underwear,
- 26:44Like you can think them, gotcha? Yeah? Or leaves? What
- 26:45did they what do they wear for? No? But you I have twigging
- 26:48berries. I'm thinking of my ancestors in twigging berries right now. So if
- 26:52you can just give me a second to take that in, Yeah, imagine
- 26:55that's gonna take me a while the process. Imagine you're a great, great
- 26:57great cave. I'm freaking Also, Tarzan, my grandpa Morris is like Tarzan.
- 27:03Yeah, yeah, what did you have a burlap sack? Was that?
- 27:06Was that a US potato sack? No, it was like a like
- 27:10a bamboo kind of situation, wasn't it? Is that right, like a
- 27:12raw hide, just peel just peeled the skin off a cow. Anyway,
- 27:18Anyway, the moral of the story is running you don't lose weight, You
- 27:22just well, you just eventually your body just adapts to what you're trying to
- 27:26do. But just lose fat, and it's just gonna store the fat.
- 27:29So you're gonna prevent yourself from gaining weight, which is good. But and
- 27:33now the older I get, so we have a bike because that's just easier
- 27:36on my knees. And I'm a huge fan of a Huffy or a shwin
- 27:40Anice low redder bike, mongoose those are always good if you have a mongoose.
- 27:45Growing up in the mean streets of the nineties. I jump on my
- 27:48daughter's little Elsa bike that's a little horn. I go, no, we
- 27:52have a peloton, but there's so many different versions or whatever. So I
- 27:56enjoyed that just because my body can handle it. Now. So you're basically
- 28:00saying walking is just as good, because I've heard that theory too. As
- 28:03long as you're moving your body at a certain pace or whatever, it's okay.
- 28:08The older we get how are your knees? You know, I hear
- 28:11a lot of people complain about knees. I think mine are fine. I'm
- 28:14thankful every day. There's a lot of things I'm not thankful for physically,
- 28:17but you know, my back hanging in there and my knees being okay.
- 28:19You know, those are two really good things. Like my lower back not
- 28:22so great, my knees not so good. After all those years in dance
- 28:26line doing pop ups, is that what got you? Really really broke the
- 28:30knees? But I do it. They have what I mean with the dancing
- 28:36for sure. I am working currently on your star chart. Do you want
- 28:41me to talk about this? Absolutely? I want a starch. I literally
- 28:45want like when you were in elementary school and basically like for attendance, you'd
- 28:48get a little gold star. For my kids, oh you do for what
- 28:52they help with the dishes, making sure every time that they go in the
- 28:56bath, they always go and put their clothes in the washing machine, making
- 29:00sure that they put their pull ups in the uh, the right spot.
- 29:03What is it called? What is the washing machine? The trash trash can?
- 29:07Because we have had a couple of pull ups in the washing machine,
- 29:10and that is a disaster. It's hard to get those little beads out.
- 29:14But I haven't decided if I'm gonna make you one, or I was even
- 29:17thinking of buying you one like my kids. So we could just hang it
- 29:19here in the studio. So every time you work out, I'll give you
- 29:22a little star. Well that's I think. I think I need to visualize
- 29:25the days I did and did not work out, because otherwise, if I
- 29:27just keep it to myself, it's just my own little secret whether I worked
- 29:30out or not. That's no good because that's not working out. So is
- 29:33there anything else we need to work on? So we'll put for sure the
- 29:36working out? Do we need like brushing your teeth? How are you on
- 29:37that? That one we're really working with hard or miss
