Speaker A: Somebody need to do a song for LA. Hello, my name is Elaine, and I'll be your tour guide through South Central Los Angeles.
• 0:18
Speaker B: Look, count my nose, smoker. I'm from California.
• 0:22
  Speaker A: Where you from?
• 0:23
Speaker B: So what? I'm from California. California. California, California.
• 0:28
Speaker C: This is Los Angeles. Where are we going?
• 0:33
Speaker A: We recording? We recorded right now.
• 0:37
  Speaker C: Yeah.
• 0:37
Speaker A: We back at it again. Running back. Gotta do it back to back. Are they gonna think it's luck? Gotta hit him with their three peat. Do it three times. They don't still doubt you. Okay, now, look. Now, I stole this topic. I ain't gonna even lie to you. I stole this out the gate, and I know who I stole it from. Do you wanna guess who I stole it from?
• 1:00
  Speaker C: Drake, saying, great.
• 1:02
Speaker A: No, strike three. I stole it from Stone. Stone called me. Stone called me one day and he was like, nah, I got this idea. So do you know the history between ice Cube and be real from what you call it?
• 1:19
Speaker C: I don't. Please share with the audience of me. Please.
• 1:21
Speaker A: So they, you know, ice cube and be real, real cool friends. And it was some music information being jotted down and edited and talked about and created. And it was an idea. And that b real had came up with. And Ice Cube made a song and he took it. He took the idea. That's what I'm doing right now. He told me that idea. And I told him on the phone, I said, brother, this is a jack. Like, this is when. This is when Kane got in that mustang and said, nigga, I want a double burger with cheese.
• 2:10
Speaker C: He went to cook out.
• 2:13
Speaker A: Hey, all I know is it was a dope concept. He said, baylor, I am going to recast the original house party. I said, nigga, you lying. He wasn't. He was telling the truth. Now, I don't. I don't think, at the time, he told me who he was gonna. Who the actors or actresses were gonna be. But I said, I think I'm gonna do this show before you do your show. So I'm going to steal this from you and give you the credit, but I'm going to take all of the airtime credit because I'm probably going to drop this before you drop yours. Damn, that's a cold nigga right there. That's the Capricorn for you right there.
• 3:09
Speaker C: So I feel like you feel prepared. I'm ready to hear you.
• 3:12
Speaker A: No, no, no. See, you didn't have to be prepared for this, because your job in this situation, in this episode, is to see if you can come up with a different option that you would think would be better. Or you could just simply agree.
• 3:27
Speaker C: All right, I'm with that. I can do that.
• 3:29
  Speaker A: You ready?
• 3:30
  Speaker C: Yeah, absolutely.
• 3:31
Speaker A: This is the recast house party. Now, all that bullshit talking about. This is a West coast movie. No, it had West coast traits in it. Okay, this is not a West coast movie.
• 3:51
Speaker C: What movie is it then? What region would you put it in?
• 3:54
Speaker A: This is. This is actually, uh, this appropriating.
• 4:00
Speaker C: So it's so West coast esque on the idea, on the idealism.
• 4:05
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 4:05
  Speaker C: What?
• 4:06
Speaker A: They was more dope was more west coast than house party. That's a fact. So here we go. Here we go. We go. We're gonna get. We don't want to hold them too long because. You know what I'm saying? So I'm gonna start with the popular one. No, no, no. You know what? I'm. Start from the bottom. Pause.
• 4:24
Speaker C: Now, we here, okay?
• 4:26
Speaker A: Do you remember a character named Clint? Clint Clinton? He was at the party. He the one that told pops, hey, man, you know, he not here or something like that, and told his ass to go home or something like that.
• 4:49
Speaker C: Yes, yes, I do.
• 4:51
Speaker A: Sean Baker. Sean Baker. He's. He's also. He was at my wedding, too, because he had the photo booth album.
• 5:02
Speaker C: Revenue base. Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 5:06
Speaker A: So that's him. But I will replace him with Eddie Griffin. Right? Then we have. Remember the obese guy that was having sex in all the movies?
• 5:18
  Speaker C: I'm screaming, yes.
• 5:20
Speaker A: We gotta replace him, too. I'm gonna replace him with Bruce. Bruce. That's a good.
• 5:26
Speaker C: You know, I see it. I see. You know, that was good. I see that already.
• 5:30
Speaker A: There we go. There we go. So we moving along. We moving along. Now. Do you remember Chill Joe's? He the one that kept bumping into the DJ booth?
• 5:40
  Speaker C: Yes.
• 5:41
Speaker A: I'm gonna replace him with Ray J.
• 5:46
  Speaker C: You know what?
• 5:47
  Speaker A: That's solid.
• 5:48
Speaker C: I'm not even gonna argue.
• 5:49
  Speaker A: See? See? See?
• 5:51
Speaker C: We roll personality traits. You don't even have to act for real. Cause that's him. And brew with Hobbs.
• 5:56
Speaker A: And watch this. Watch how I hit this double double, though. Then we gonna do peanut. You remember peanut, right? Peanut is the one who put all that goddamn sugar in the goddamn Kool Aid, right?
• 6:07
  Speaker C: Kool Aid, yes.
• 6:09
Speaker A: So are we gonna replace that peanut with Miles Mitchell from Moesha? What?
• 6:18
Speaker C: Oh, so you stand. We say, you say, you know what? They could have been great individuals.
• 6:24
Speaker A: See, I'm doing what I gotta do when I do this. The next one. The two white cops. Mm. The two white cops. I got Woody Harrelson. And Jason Bateman. Oh, I'm winning. I'm winning in life. This is what I do. I'm winning in life.
• 6:43
Speaker C: They will definitely fit those characteristics. I'm with the x. They would have been perfect.
• 6:51
  Speaker A: See characters.
• 6:52
  Speaker C: Yes.
• 6:54
Speaker A: Now, my backups. My backups was Will Ferrell and what you call it from a living color.
• 7:03
Speaker C: No, you see what I'm saying? I think what, like I say, Jim Carrey.
• 7:10
Speaker A: Jim Carrey. Yes. Jim Carrey and Will Ferret. Nigga.
• 7:13
Speaker C: Whoa. What? Okay, that's definitely a comedy. But because it's like a dark comedy in a sense, I definitely feel like hairstyle definitely make us believe that part, for sure. If we use will ferro, we definitely would see that. Like, we see the anecdotes faster.
• 7:33
Speaker A: You fucking with Jason Bateman, though. You mess with the Jason Bateman pick.
• 7:37
Speaker C: Yes, yes. I feel like they're just more believable characters in those. In those roles at that point in regards to trying to find realism in. In the storyline instead of just making it full comedy and you don't take it seriously. So I'm with you. I think those are very, very great picks. Continue.
• 8:02
Speaker A: Okay, so we moving on to the older married couple that was next door to the house party. You know what I'm saying? Okay, we gonna replace them. That's mister and misses Strickland. I'm gonna replace them.
• 8:17
  Speaker C: With Strickland.
• 8:19
Speaker A: Uh, Sinbad and Loretta Divine.
• 8:24
Speaker C: Ah, that's actually pretty good. I can see Loretta divine replacing BB Drake. I can see that. I can. I'm not even replacing, but being that the same energy or the same aura of her. I see that.
• 8:41
Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Now we about to get to the meat and potatoes of the casting.
• 8:47
Speaker C: Okay. Because I got hungry and I was ready.
• 8:50
Speaker A: All right. Bilal, formerly, formerly Martin Lawrence, and that would now be played by Mike Epps. I think I'm winning with that. I'm winning with that. That ain't done. But look, I get. I'm picking. I'm picking a version.
• 9:16
Speaker C: Friday and whatever. Friday.
• 9:19
Speaker A: Yes, that's the day. That's the one I'm talking about. Day. Day.
• 9:22
Speaker C: Okay. Okay, then I agree with you then for me.
• 9:26
Speaker A: Okay, now, full force. Oh, the bullies. I'm replacing them with west side connection. Yes, I did. I said that. Yeah, I said that. I'm replacing them with west side connection. I said that. Who else you gonna throw in there, the lockout?
• 9:52
Speaker C: Look, that would have been if you took the words out of my mouth, but I definitely would have said it was not them.
• 9:59
Speaker A: Some of them Wu Tang niggas. Cool.
• 10:02
Speaker C: Yes. Yes. I would definitely have thrown in some east coast where it would have been Wu Tang or definitely the locks, for sure.
• 10:11
Speaker A: Who from? Wu tang.
• 10:14
  Speaker C: Um.
• 10:18
Speaker A: That'S gonna. That's gonna. That's gonna make or break.
• 10:24
  Speaker C: Okay, so.
• 10:29
Speaker A: If I'm thinking Ghostface killer for show, gotta be one of those. Ghostface killer. Rayquan, and then we gotta get. Okay, I got it. Ghostface killer, Raekwon and. Oh, dirty bastard. Come on, now. Come on down. You know what? Yeah, that's hard.
• 10:50
Speaker C: For sure. For sure.
• 10:53
  Speaker A: That's hard.
• 10:53
Speaker C: Cause that's regular. That's light work for them. They do that every day.
• 10:58
Speaker A: That's hard. That's hard. That's hard. All right, so that's the four force one. Then we get to charain. Charade. Okay, now, look, let me tell you what I did with the charain and Sydney thing. I I I swapped it over.
• 11:18
  Speaker C: Okay?
• 11:19
Speaker A: You'll see. Let me see if. Let me see if. Let me see if you can understand what I'm saying when I flip it like that. All right? So for my charain, I got Lauren London, and for my Sydney, I got Regina hall. What did I do?
• 11:44
Speaker C: You gave me both sides of the coin.
• 11:46
  Speaker A: Huh?
• 11:47
Speaker C: You gave me both sides of the coin.
• 11:49
  Speaker A: What you mean?
• 11:50
Speaker C: Cause you gave me sex appeal and you gave me demeanor.
• 11:53
Speaker A: No, they were like, no, that's not it. It's not it. Oh, listen, listen. Listen to it again. Charain is lower London, and Sydney is Regina. Regina hall.
• 12:09
Speaker C: Oh, you switched. Okay, okay. I'm so sorry. I now understand what you're saying. You switched it because obviously, Sydney was tshirt, and she was light skin.
• 12:20
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 12:20
Speaker C: And. And she raised. He was dark skin. And you. But you gave them because of their. How they are as characters or even the way that they portrayed themselves in the characters that we know that they. Although you would switch them just because of the skin complexion, the personalities, in order to play the role appropriately, will play into that. I agree.
• 12:45
Speaker A: Amen. Amen. You was getting through that. I got. So you both. There you go. So you got both my charain and Sydney. Now we get to pops. You know, Pops was very important in the movie because he whooped kids ass at the end.
• 13:02
  Speaker C: I was there.
• 13:03
Speaker A: My pops in this one, even though he's a part of the franchise, but not until the third one. I'm going with Bernie Mac. Oh, my.
• 13:18
Speaker C: That's perfect. That's perfect. I can't argue with that. I can't argue with that because, you know, whether he would talk. And I see brain Mac all over that.
• 13:27
Speaker A: Okay. All right. Now we getting down to the last two, and I might as well say them both together. Now, look, when I do pick these, both of these have versions. Okay? And I'll get to it. So for kid, I'm going Will Smith, the Fresh Prince version. And for play, which King Jermyn has some pushback to this one. I said for play, it's gonna be Morris Chestnut. But boyz in the hood version, I.
• 14:03
Speaker C: Feel like he's too naive in that movie.
• 14:06
Speaker A: I mean. Yeah, and boys in the movie is very naive. And he was a running back, and he was a running back that was going to USC who had no moves. He was. He was Emmett Smith. He was one. He was going to go. He was going to go to USC, and then he's going to be a Los Angeles raider, and he was going to be. He's going to have a better career than Bo Jackson.
• 14:31
Speaker C: What about. Omar had heard Ray goes, what about him?
• 14:37
Speaker A: As. As. As play?
• 14:41
  Speaker C: Yes.
• 14:42
Speaker A: No, I can't see that. I can't see that. No, because, look, first of all, I didn't. We didn't start getting him and we just started getting him until, like, he was already in his veterans contract.
• 14:59
Speaker C: Cecil needed, like, ace, a soft spoken, still light skinned man, still trying to make it in industry, but still has talent.
• 15:07
Speaker A: No, no, no. We just got it. We just got to dial it back a little bit. We gotta. We gotta look for some younger. Some younger artists.
• 15:17
  Speaker C: Let's see.
• 15:19
Speaker A: Okay, you know which one? Bobby Brown.
• 15:25
Speaker C: Okay, I understand you're complimenting the personality trait with the. With the character trait.
• 15:31
Speaker A: I understand the Bobby Brown might be my Bobby Brown might get played real play around for his money.
• 15:42
Speaker C: I could. I could see him being a play, for sure. He could definitely be the runner up.
• 15:49
Speaker A: We've seen his work. Remember, remember, it's a deadline between love and hate. Yeah, he had it. He had that. So that's my recast right there. And I think that.
• 16:10
  Speaker C: Okay.
• 16:10
Speaker A: I think that would be a hit.
• 16:13
Speaker C: Do you think that Drake could play?
• 16:17
Speaker A: No, no, Drake was just fine over there with Degrassi. Phenomenal. I mean, my God. Hold on. Oh, my God.
• 16:33
  Speaker C: I'm just saying.
• 16:34
Speaker A: What was his name? Wheelchair Jimmy?
• 16:37
Speaker C: Is that what I'm screaming?
• 16:42
Speaker A: Yeah. No, I really. I really want to go back and get into that. That type. Pause that show because, you know, I like my teen drama. You know what I mean? And we know he knows about. That's crazy. Freaky ass nigga. He a 69. God. Thank you, GZ. Do you want to let them know where they can find you at?
• 17:10

• 17:46
Speaker A: If they don't do it again, Jesus. Oh, man. We still wait on that solo, and I'm putting you on the spot right here. It's being recorded, too. We wait on the solo. No, we're waiting on a solo career at this point. At this point, you are Justin Timberlake in.
• 18:04
Speaker C: Yeah, I'm part of n saying, I hear you, and you can find him on BTC for president on all your favorite platforms.

• 18:21
Speaker A: You like you acting like Ben Simmons right now.
