- 2:24Speaker 1: The popcorn moment. Let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go,
- 2:27Speaker 1: let's go, let's go, let's go.
- 2:30Speaker 2: It's a story you need to hear to believe, and
- 2:31Speaker 2: grab your popcorn because there is more.
- 2:33Speaker 1: I've got a three. First, there's a lot of maddening
- 2:38Speaker 1: anger in the world, and I.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Can appreciate that the level of gross to the level
- 2:47Speaker 2: of frustrating, the level of anger that it can create
- 2:55Speaker 2: in one It is real because the objective, the objective
- 3:01Speaker 2: of the pseudo intellectual, is to push anything that will
- 3:05Speaker 2: allow them to retain a level of power. The objective
- 3:08Speaker 2: of the propagandist is to break you, right. That's that's
- 3:12Speaker 2: what it is. That's what it's all about. Allow me
- 3:15Speaker 2: to share with you a couple of different things. First,
- 3:19Speaker 2: this is the bigoted mayor of Chicago, Brandon Johnson, who
- 3:24Speaker 2: wants you to know what a good person Assada Shakur was.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Why it's not playing is beyond me. Wait can you
- 3:33Speaker 1: hear that?
- 3:34Speaker 2: Just me?
- 3:35Speaker 1: Hold on? Can you hear this? Yeah? I didn't. I
- 3:40Speaker 1: didn't think so.
- 3:41Speaker 2: Brandon Johnson wants you to know that Assada Chakor is
- 3:46Speaker 2: an important person in the Black liberation movement.
- 3:50Speaker 1: What I can say, though, is that.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Asada Shakur is an important movement person in the Black
- 3:53Speaker 2: liberation movement who's repeatedly claims her innocence. She murdered a
- 3:57Speaker 2: New Jersey State trooper and then fled to Q But
- 4:01Speaker 2: she's guilty and she died over the weekend. Black Liberation Movement,
- 4:08Speaker 2: what possibly in the age of twenty twenty five are
- 4:12Speaker 2: you talking about, Brandon Johnson? But if you want to
- 4:15Speaker 2: continue to divide people based on race, well then you,
- 4:18Speaker 2: Brandon Johnson, are doing one heck of a job. This
- 4:21Speaker 2: is part of the madness. Why in the world would
- 4:24Speaker 2: that be a conversation today. It's a conversation today because
- 4:28Speaker 2: if you believe this, first of all, if you hate people.
- 4:32Speaker 1: You believe this stuff. If you want.
- 4:36Speaker 2: To still have a power base, you believe this stuff.
- 4:40Speaker 2: You share this stuff, of course you do, and it
- 4:44Speaker 2: is just downright ugly. Following up on the downright ugly
- 4:51Speaker 2: is Don Lemon. Men who look like you, men who
- 4:54Speaker 2: vote like you, and men who sound like you.
- 4:59Speaker 1: White men.
- 5:01Speaker 2: Something is broken, something is cracked deep inside.
- 5:08Speaker 1: When so many of you believe.
- 5:10Speaker 2: The answer to fear, to loss, to change is violence.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Are you listening to me? I hope I'm saying it
- 5:21Speaker 1: loud enough for the people in the back.
- 5:25Speaker 2: I don't think you're saying it loud enough for the
- 5:27Speaker 2: black on black violence that occurs in Chicago every single day.
- 5:33Speaker 2: But if you want to now say that it's white
- 5:36Speaker 2: men who are broken, you're doing a great job in
- 5:41Speaker 2: bringing people together.
- 5:44Speaker 1: What is the argument here? The argument here is.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Not that the assassin of Charlie Kirk, the killer in Nashville,
- 5:52Speaker 2: the killer in Minnesota, or all white's.
- 5:56Speaker 1: It is about what drove them to the thing.
- 6:00Speaker 2: What drives black men to shoot other black men on
- 6:03Speaker 2: the streets of name the street? What is causing that?
- 6:07Speaker 2: That's not broken? That's madness, That's a maddening statement. What
- 6:14Speaker 2: drives people to the thing is the question. You think
- 6:20Speaker 2: it's about color of skin? Do you know how kkk
- 6:24Speaker 2: that is dun lenon. You think it's about color of skin,
- 6:28Speaker 2: and yet you think that somehow you are above it,
- 6:31Speaker 2: you are on top of it, you are this great
- 6:37Speaker 2: leader of decency in humanity. Listen to what you're saying.
- 6:42Speaker 2: You think it's about skin color, and these people still
- 6:50Speaker 2: have audiences, and it's a NonStop attack. And then there
- 6:56Speaker 2: is Jamal Bowman, the former congressman, when he's not pulling
- 6:59Speaker 2: fire alarms. This isn't the first time he has gone
- 7:02Speaker 2: down this road.
- 7:04Speaker 1: This is one of.
- 7:05Speaker 2: The newer talking points, or maybe it's always been a
- 7:07Speaker 2: talking point. Now it's becoming republic This isn't the first
- 7:10Speaker 2: time he said this, that because of the color of
- 7:13Speaker 2: your skin, you may very well be guilty of giving
- 7:17Speaker 2: other people diabetes, athlic We're not dealing.
- 7:22Speaker 4: With America's original sin and its disease of hate and
- 7:26Speaker 4: racism towards black and brown people, and sexism towards women
- 7:31Speaker 4: and ani LGBT fuel sentiment.
- 7:33Speaker 1: We are not dealing with that.
- 7:35Speaker 3: Your colleagues in a Republican party do not hold each
- 7:38Speaker 3: other accountable when it comes to the racism that comes
- 7:42Speaker 3: from the party on a consistent basis.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Congressman, I mean, and where you are about this. I'm
- 7:49Speaker 1: a black man in America.
- 7:51Speaker 3: The reason why heart listen to what I'm saying, The
- 7:54Speaker 3: reason why heart disease and cancer and obesity and diabetes
- 7:58Speaker 3: are bigger in the community is because of distress we
- 8:02Speaker 3: carry from having to deal with being called the n
- 8:05Speaker 3: word directly or indirectly every day.
- 8:11Speaker 2: I have often stated in one of my in my
- 8:15Speaker 2: more sober moments, and I don't mean sober as in
- 8:19Speaker 2: not drinking.
- 8:19Speaker 1: I mean them as introspective.
- 8:24Speaker 2: How does one healed the racial divide when the wound
- 8:29Speaker 2: is so profitable? I started saying that maybe a dozen
- 8:36Speaker 2: years ago. It wasn't my first political theory. It came later,
- 8:45Speaker 2: but it is as prescient and as supported by the
- 8:50Speaker 2: facts as ever. Jamal Bowman's answer to everything is you're
- 8:57Speaker 2: a bigot, and it can never be better because you
- 9:00Speaker 2: will always be a bigot, and this will always be
- 9:02Speaker 2: the way it is, and.
- 9:03Speaker 1: You're always a bigot.
- 9:04Speaker 2: And how does one heal the racial divide when the
- 9:07Speaker 2: wound is so profitable? And the answer is never, because
- 9:11Speaker 2: there's no value in healing anything. There's only a value
- 9:16Speaker 2: in how you can get more people to donate to
- 9:18Speaker 2: your cause.
- 9:20Speaker 1: And you listen to those three things.
- 9:22Speaker 2: And you might very well lose your mind, you might
- 9:27Speaker 2: lose your soul. And I put forth to you that
- 9:32Speaker 2: that's the objective the support of communist cop killers, the
- 9:36Speaker 2: Don Lemon playing the part of the KKK, and Jamal Bowman,
- 9:41Speaker 2: the former congressman stating clearly that you're the reason black
- 9:46Speaker 2: women get diabetes. This is the totality of an argument.
- 9:55Speaker 2: This is moving the conversation, the dialogue, the eject, the
- 10:01Speaker 2: country forward. Now, maybe you never hear this stuff because
- 10:07Speaker 2: you don't tune it to see an n or Ton Lemon, right.
- 10:10Speaker 2: And I can appreciate it because there's a reason why
- 10:14Speaker 2: never to do so. But understand what people are being fed,
- 10:20Speaker 2: and when you wonder why they are so ravaged with.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Hate and so unbelievably vicious. If that's all you heard
- 10:28Speaker 1: every day, you would be too
