- 2:56Speaker 5: If anybody's not familiar, this is this is a bonus. Like,
- 2:59Speaker 5: since this thing given, we're gonna just It's like a
- 3:01Speaker 5: meal like you just can't have one, you know what
- 3:04Speaker 5: I'm saying. Dessert, you gotta have everything. So we got
- 3:07Speaker 5: a lot of surprises today. This is like our This
- 3:10Speaker 5: is like our surprise for Thanksgiving. So Miss Business is
- 3:15Speaker 5: the first guest that ever appeared on ever Ever. It's monumental.
- 3:19Speaker 5: A lot of people might not know that, but first
- 3:21Speaker 5: guest ever for Legion episode number seven.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Number eight. Yes, we got to put number eight on
- 3:28Speaker 2: your shirt.
- 3:29Speaker 5: Number eight.
- 3:30Speaker 6: I need a number eight on my shirt.
- 3:32Speaker 7: I told you guys, gonna be my uniform, so make
- 3:35Speaker 7: sure that you stand for eight on the back of it.
- 3:40Speaker 5: So Miss Business is our CPA for multiple businesses that
- 3:46Speaker 5: we that we now have e y L e y
- 3:48Speaker 5: L University, our trucking business, a bunch of different stuff
- 3:52Speaker 5: and we wanted to bring her on for a few reasons.
- 3:55Speaker 5: We felt it was timely at the end of the year.
- 3:56Speaker 5: So first off, backup and say what this is so
- 3:59Speaker 5: e y O. You know, Versity is our educational platform
- 4:01Speaker 5: and once a week, every single Wednesday, we do a
- 4:04Speaker 5: class and then the last Wednesday of the month we
- 4:08Speaker 5: open it up to the public. It's called opening Romance.
- 4:10Speaker 5: So the whole so you know, everybody can see for
- 4:12Speaker 5: them spells and yeah, it's like, you know, we don't
- 4:15Speaker 5: hide our work. We show it. So every week it's
- 4:18Speaker 5: a different topic. So this week we're gonna talk about
- 4:21Speaker 5: a few different things. But I thought it was timely
- 4:23Speaker 5: because you know, I made that post on social media
- 4:27Speaker 5: with the cars with the range Rovers and meet Troy
- 4:30Speaker 5: and Matt we got range Rovers, and I just I
- 4:33Speaker 5: kind of put like a little thing and that you know,
- 4:35Speaker 5: we're done responsibly and we got a business deduction and
- 4:39Speaker 5: we save money on taxes and all that, and it
- 4:41Speaker 5: just went crazy, a lot of people asking questions how
- 4:43Speaker 5: you do that? Da da da da. And then I'm figuring,
- 4:45Speaker 5: you know, since it's the end of the year, it
- 4:47Speaker 5: might be some some tax questions and things of that nature.
- 4:50Speaker 5: So we actually just had our call with you as
- 4:54Speaker 5: far as you know, earning your leisure, our tax strategy,
- 4:57Speaker 5: and what deductions we plan on taking before the end
- 4:59Speaker 5: of the year, things of that nature. So I'm like,
- 5:02Speaker 5: all right, so why should we be the only ones
- 5:04Speaker 5: privy to this excellent information?
- 5:06Speaker 2: Why can't service, yeah for sure about the service.
- 5:09Speaker 5: Why can't why can't the whole world be privy to
- 5:11Speaker 5: this whole to this information and one thing about you know,
- 5:15Speaker 5: our alumni, they never tell us, no they So that's
- 5:21Speaker 5: what we're gonna do. We're gonna drop some gems and
- 5:24Speaker 5: then we're gonna talk about investing afterwards with another one
- 5:28Speaker 5: of our guests. But first and foremost, Miss Business, thank
- 5:31Speaker 5: you for joining us. Appreciate it.
- 5:33Speaker 4: Of course.
- 5:34Speaker 7: Of course, where else would I rather be day before Thanksgiving?
- 5:38Speaker 6: But with you guys.
- 5:45Speaker 5: Somebody said, somebody said, I got a hughe he from
- 5:48Speaker 5: the business. Sure, now that's that's Sat.
- 5:50Speaker 3: That's that's that good Sat.
- 5:54Speaker 2: I told you good, good merch merch.
- 5:57Speaker 5: I need to come up to the one on the camera,
- 5:58Speaker 5: that's good merch man. We don't, we haven't. You know
- 6:00Speaker 5: what I'm saying. You see, Troy got the tie die
- 6:03Speaker 5: shirt I got. I got the satin sweatsuit like an
- 6:08Speaker 5: old nineteen eighties mobster.
- 6:11Speaker 2: That's a fact. That's all.
- 6:13Speaker 5: Some mobster. All I need is my glasses. Man didn't
- 6:16Speaker 5: bring them today, No, I didn't bring them today. I
- 6:18Speaker 5: didn't bring them today. Seeing us, he cheating us, I
- 6:23Speaker 5: had to take a break. I had to take a
- 6:24Speaker 5: break for a minute.
- 6:25Speaker 2: You see some people doing it.
- 6:27Speaker 5: Uh, you know, how that goes man, talk to him, spicy,
- 6:32Speaker 5: follow the leader. But let's let's let's get into a missbusiness.
- 6:36Speaker 5: So we the first thing I want told you about
- 6:39Speaker 5: few different things as far as tax plan is concerned,
- 6:41Speaker 5: but the first thing that we did well, not the
- 6:44Speaker 5: first thing that we did, but the thing that I
- 6:46Speaker 5: want to talk about first is the cars, because you know,
- 6:49Speaker 5: it's one of these things that gets people's attention and
- 6:52Speaker 5: everybody has an opinion on it, and it's like but
- 6:55Speaker 5: you know, like I said, everything that we do we
- 6:57Speaker 5: do responsibly, and everything that we do we share with
- 6:59Speaker 5: the public. So you know, when we when we was
- 7:02Speaker 5: purchasing our cars and shout out to you because you
- 7:04Speaker 5: were the first person that really because I had never
- 7:06Speaker 5: put a car on a business name before. I always
- 7:08Speaker 5: used to just you know, buy my car at least
- 7:10Speaker 5: my cars and put it on my own personal.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Name, and I never even had the opportunity.
- 7:14Speaker 5: You can I say, well, I can say what kind
- 7:16Speaker 5: of car you got? You got the G Wagon, you
- 7:18Speaker 5: gotg Yeah, business got the g Wagon, big boy, big body,
- 7:24Speaker 5: the g amg G sixty three, sixty three, he's sixty three.
- 7:30Speaker 5: That's what you have been saying.
- 7:31Speaker 3: I mean, if you like, let's see, if you ain't
- 7:35Speaker 3: rolling like that, man, you might need to find a
- 7:37Speaker 3: new one.
- 7:37Speaker 5: G sixty three, that's what you mean. That's a fact, man, Spicy.
- 7:43Speaker 5: So when when I was talking to her and she
- 7:45Speaker 5: gave me some games, She's like, yeah, you know, I
- 7:47Speaker 5: put it under my business account and she kind of
- 7:50Speaker 5: like gave me the knowledge on it. So I'm like,
- 7:53Speaker 5: all right, well, I'm gonna get a car, so I
- 7:54Speaker 5: might as well do the same thing. And it was
- 7:56Speaker 5: a lot easier, and I thought it was going to
- 7:59Speaker 5: be like it literally took me five minutes. And the
- 8:02Speaker 5: dope part for me is that my base, my bank
- 8:05Speaker 5: that I'm getting the financing through is Chase, and I
- 8:08Speaker 5: bank with Chase. So on the app it has like
- 8:11Speaker 5: my car payment thing right there, and it's like all
- 8:13Speaker 5: I gotta do is just open my Chase app and
- 8:16Speaker 5: it's just automatic for the for the car payment, straight
- 8:19Speaker 5: from the straight from the stay from the business account.
- 8:21Speaker 5: So let's talk about it. Let's talk about it. So
- 8:24Speaker 5: there's two ways that you can that you can accomplish
- 8:27Speaker 5: this right. Well, first let's talk about the six thousand
- 8:29Speaker 5: pound ul because a lot of people was asking about
- 8:32Speaker 5: the six thousand pound rul. They thought that that's what
- 8:34Speaker 5: it was. Because if you're not familiar, well, I'll let you, I'll,
- 8:37Speaker 5: i'll They say, I talk too much. You're explaining the
- 8:40Speaker 5: six thousands so.
- 8:41Speaker 6: Smart, that's so smart. You can't help it.
- 8:44Speaker 7: You can't hope it all right, So let's talk about vehicles, right,
- 8:49Speaker 7: So you have you have your standard vehicles. Right, Most
- 8:52Speaker 7: vehicles like even rain drovers, g wagons, they fall a
- 8:57Speaker 7: little under six thousand pounds, but for the most part,
- 9:00Speaker 7: all vehicles fall under about six thousand pounds. And if
- 9:04Speaker 7: you do, and we'll talk, and I also want to
- 9:07Speaker 7: talk about the different ways you can go about purchasing
- 9:10Speaker 7: your vehicle. Right, So you have your finance in, then
- 9:13Speaker 7: you have your lease in, or you can pick the
- 9:15Speaker 7: mileage method.
- 9:16Speaker 6: Right. Most people are very familiar with the mileage method.
- 9:19Speaker 7: However, when you finance your car, it when you could
- 9:23Speaker 7: pretty much purchase your vehicle. It sits as an asset
- 9:26Speaker 7: in your business. Right, So when it sits as an
- 9:28Speaker 7: asset in your business, anytime you have any type of assets,
- 9:32Speaker 7: you get to depreciate them. So when you are depreciating
- 9:36Speaker 7: your vehicles, there's certain timeframes in terms of years that
- 9:41Speaker 7: you get to depreciate it over So for anyone that
- 9:44Speaker 7: isn't familiar when you depreciate any sort of asset, what
- 9:47Speaker 7: you're doing is you are you're pretty much allocating the
- 9:53Speaker 7: cost of whatever asset you acquired, and you are writing
- 9:57Speaker 7: it off over time. Right. So with the vehicle, typically
- 10:02Speaker 7: standard depreciation years for a vehicle is seven years. However,
- 10:08Speaker 7: there's this thing called bonus appreciation that Trump put that
- 10:12Speaker 7: Trump pretty much wrote into his tax code, where for vehicles.
- 10:17Speaker 6: That are less than six thousand pounds.
- 10:21Speaker 7: You the first year you get to the duck eighteen
- 10:24Speaker 7: thousand dollars.
- 10:25Speaker 6: Right, the second year.
- 10:27Speaker 7: You get to depreciate sixteen thousand, and then the year
- 10:31Speaker 7: after that you get to the duck ninety six hundred.
- 10:34Speaker 7: Right in year three, then every year after that you
- 10:37Speaker 7: get to the duck five thousand, seven hundred and sixty dollars.
- 10:41Speaker 7: For each year intil the value of your asset has
- 10:43Speaker 7: been pretty much fully depreciated, right, meaning that you've captured
- 10:47Speaker 7: the full cost of your vehicle. Now, if your vehicle
- 10:51Speaker 7: is more than six thousand pounds, you get to the
- 10:53Speaker 7: duck one hundred percent of the vehicle, right, And why
- 10:56Speaker 7: that is so important is because sometimes.
- 11:00Speaker 6: People need those deductions. Right.
- 11:03Speaker 7: You may say, listen, I purchased this vehicle. It's over
- 11:06Speaker 7: six thousand pounds. I need those write offs, right. So
- 11:09Speaker 7: instead of writing it off over years, you get to
- 11:12Speaker 7: write it off one hundred percent.
- 11:14Speaker 4: In that year.
- 11:15Speaker 6: The good thing about bonus appreciation you can choose to
- 11:18Speaker 6: take it. You can choose not to.
- 11:19Speaker 7: So let's just say, hypothetically, if you were saying, you
- 11:22Speaker 7: know what my vehicle I want to you know, I
- 11:26Speaker 7: don't want to take advantage of bonus appreciation, right, you
- 11:30Speaker 7: will just write it off over years, over let's say
- 11:33Speaker 7: those seven years. And why that's important is because in
- 11:37Speaker 7: like tax planning sessions, we get to make those decisions.
- 11:40Speaker 6: Right.
- 11:40Speaker 7: So Rashaw talked about tax planning where I sit down
- 11:44Speaker 7: with my clients and I kind of find out everything
- 11:46Speaker 7: that's going on, and then we get to make the
- 11:49Speaker 7: decision on saying, okay, if you finance, okay, should we
- 11:53Speaker 7: take advantage of bonus appreciation? Is your vehicle over six
- 11:56Speaker 7: thousand pounds is it not? And how we can treat
- 11:59Speaker 7: it right. Another option is leasing your vehicle. So when
- 12:04Speaker 7: you lease your vehicle, you get to write one of
- 12:07Speaker 7: the least payment off. Right, it's like any other expense
- 12:10Speaker 7: that you are incurring on a vehicle. Keep in mind,
- 12:13Speaker 7: on the fine, if you're financing as well as leasing,
- 12:16Speaker 7: you are also able to take deductions such as gas,
- 12:22Speaker 7: insurance payments, registration, any sort of car washes, tires. Right,
- 12:31Speaker 7: you get to write those things off. And I wanted
- 12:33Speaker 7: to mention those things because then you have the mileage
- 12:37Speaker 7: method that people are very familiar with. So with the
- 12:40Speaker 7: mileage method, you pretty much it's kind of like a
- 12:43Speaker 7: quick calculation for I'm sorry, I keep seeing people ask
- 12:48Speaker 7: about pounds, so I can't necessarily tell you how many
- 12:51Speaker 7: pounds your vehicles are, but I'm sure if you google it,
- 12:54Speaker 7: you will find out how much of your cole waves.
- 12:58Speaker 7: So now, in regards to the mileage method, that's pretty
- 13:02Speaker 7: much the IRS quick way of saying, you know what,
- 13:05Speaker 7: if you don't want to keep track, and you don't
- 13:07Speaker 7: want to write off your payments, or even if you
- 13:09Speaker 7: drive a lot and it may be to your best interest,
- 13:13Speaker 7: instead of writing off the least payments or depreciating your vehicle,
- 13:18Speaker 7: will just do the mileage method. So what that means
- 13:20Speaker 7: is you just track your mouths from all of your
- 13:24Speaker 7: business activities throughout the year and then you will multiply.
- 13:28Speaker 6: However, mini moles that is for twenty nineteen was fifty
- 13:31Speaker 6: eight cents per mile.
- 13:33Speaker 7: Now, the thing that people always make the mistake of
- 13:37Speaker 7: when it comes to the mileage method is that they
- 13:39Speaker 7: feel they can take the mileage method and then also
- 13:42Speaker 7: deduct gas and insurance and all of those things on
- 13:45Speaker 7: top of it. But you can't the idea behind the
- 13:49Speaker 7: mileage method. It's kind of like a quick calculation for
- 13:52Speaker 7: you to say, you know what, I'm just going to
- 13:55Speaker 7: write off my vehicle this way. Something to note is
- 14:00Speaker 7: that you have to either take advantage of the mileage
- 14:03Speaker 7: method or the actual method, right. So the actual method
- 14:06Speaker 7: is writing off your actual expenses such as you know,
- 14:09Speaker 7: like your leash, your insurance, your gas, all of those things,
- 14:12Speaker 7: or you use the mileage method, right, which is a
- 14:14Speaker 7: quick calculation.
- 14:16Speaker 6: So I don't think I have any more to.
- 14:19Speaker 3: Really, no real quick because as I'm listening to you say,
- 14:23Speaker 3: and from a CPA standpoint, is it best that like
- 14:27Speaker 3: if I have a credit card, I allocate that credit
- 14:29Speaker 3: card specifically to all those things, right, So that makes
- 14:32Speaker 3: it easier to to to make for bookkeeping.
- 14:35Speaker 2: A good idea because when.
- 14:36Speaker 7: We're doing your bookkeeping, well, we'll be able to allocate
- 14:39Speaker 7: that what you guys should have. And and I don't know,
- 14:43Speaker 7: I'm gonna put this out there. I don't know if
- 14:44Speaker 7: you guys have it. But everyone who has a business,
- 14:46Speaker 7: and you guys have business credit, everyone should have a
- 14:49Speaker 7: gas card, right, So if you guys don't have gas cards,
- 14:52Speaker 7: you should get gas cards.
- 14:54Speaker 5: A card for gasoline, yes.
- 14:58Speaker 7: But it's strictly under your business name, so they go
- 15:00Speaker 7: they base it off of your business credit and that's
- 15:04Speaker 7: how you qualify for the the the gas cards. So
- 15:09Speaker 7: like I have VP, Shell has gas cards. There's a
- 15:13Speaker 7: few different there's a few different gas companies that issue
- 15:18Speaker 7: gas cards. But that is a really good way because
- 15:22Speaker 7: you know that that card is specifically for gas. There's
- 15:25Speaker 7: usually like you'll get a like reduced rates, and then
- 15:30Speaker 7: it's a really good way to just kind of keep
- 15:32Speaker 7: track of it and build your business credit at the
- 15:34Speaker 7: same time.
- 15:36Speaker 6: So that is that's really good.
- 15:38Speaker 5: I didn't even know about the gas card. I learned something.
- 15:41Speaker 5: I just learned something.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Just now got to call my CPA to on Friday.
- 15:44Speaker 5: You learn you learned something every day. You learned something
- 15:48Speaker 5: every day, So so you shouldn't be getting gas because
- 15:51Speaker 5: like right now I'm getting gas, it's on my regular
- 15:52Speaker 5: credit card. I shouldn't be doing that.
- 15:55Speaker 7: Everything should be under your business name. And that's something
- 15:58Speaker 7: very important. So when you say under or under your
- 16:01Speaker 7: credit card, is it your personal credit card or business
- 16:03Speaker 7: credit card?
- 16:04Speaker 5: The gas is my personal credit card.
- 16:06Speaker 6: Personal, So yeah, you need a business credit card.
- 16:09Speaker 7: So it should either be under your business gas card
- 16:12Speaker 7: or your business credit card. And I'm glad that you
- 16:14Speaker 7: said that because that is the number one struggle that
- 16:17Speaker 7: I have with business owners is that we co mingle
- 16:21Speaker 7: our funds. Right, we take our personal funds, our personal
- 16:26Speaker 7: credit and we pay.
- 16:27Speaker 6: For things on the business side.
- 16:28Speaker 7: And we have to start looking and treating our businesses
- 16:32Speaker 7: like separate people, right, Like you would never come and
- 16:35Speaker 7: pay my bills, I would never come and pay your bills, right,
- 16:38Speaker 7: And you just have to kind of look at your
- 16:40Speaker 7: entity like that as well, Right, Like your entity has
- 16:43Speaker 7: their own has its own legal name, it has its
- 16:47Speaker 7: own EI in number that acts as a Social Security number. Right,
- 16:51Speaker 7: So you definitely should not be paying for your gas
- 16:55Speaker 7: now that you have the car under your business you
- 16:57Speaker 7: should not be paying for your gas under your personal car.
- 17:02Speaker 6: Okay, so I'm happy that.
- 17:04Speaker 4: You said that.
- 17:05Speaker 5: Noted, noted, I appreciate that. So I should be paying
- 17:07Speaker 5: for it for either a business credit card or a
- 17:09Speaker 5: business debit card. Yes, what about any other expenses that
- 17:14Speaker 5: might come with the car? Everything should be paid, thing
- 17:16Speaker 5: should be.
- 17:16Speaker 6: Under your business.
- 17:17Speaker 7: That car now belongs to your business. So look at
- 17:20Speaker 7: it as though like my car, right, Like if I
- 17:23Speaker 7: needed tires, you wouldn't come and be like, you know what,
- 17:25Speaker 7: I'm going to pay for that. That's kind of like
- 17:28Speaker 7: what you're doing. I mean, unless you just want to
- 17:30Speaker 7: give me like be nice and generous. But but you know, ideally,
- 17:37Speaker 7: that's how I like to explain it to people. You know,
- 17:39Speaker 7: you just have to separate everything out that.
- 17:42Speaker 6: That car is not your car. That car is the
- 17:45Speaker 6: business car.
- 17:46Speaker 7: So you want to take care of all of the
- 17:48Speaker 7: expenses underneath the business maintenance, you know, car registration, inspection,
- 17:56Speaker 7: everything relating to the car should be under the buses
- 18:00Speaker 7: name got.
- 18:02Speaker 5: It, got it, got it, and yeah, so the six
- 18:05Speaker 5: thousand rule. The range rovers range from forty four nine
- 18:11Speaker 5: hundred pounds to five thousand, seven hundred and forty five pounds.
- 18:14Speaker 5: So the range Rover is just underneath six thousand pounds.
- 18:18Speaker 5: So that's why we did the what we do, we're
- 18:21Speaker 5: doing this, we're doing standard or actual.
- 18:24Speaker 7: You're doing actual, right, you guys are going to do actual,
- 18:27Speaker 7: and you're going to write off your payment.
- 18:29Speaker 5: Right, So that's why we did actual. But what we
- 18:32Speaker 5: what we are using the six thousand pound rule for
- 18:35Speaker 5: is our truck, big truck, the big truck, not the
- 18:39Speaker 5: range room, not that truck, the real truck.
- 18:41Speaker 6: The truck is.
- 18:43Speaker 5: Eighteen wheeler. So yeah, you want to talk about that.
- 18:47Speaker 7: Yes, So that is definitely a really good perk for
- 18:53Speaker 7: my people that get into trucking where you are able
- 18:56Speaker 7: to write off one hundred of the view for costs.
- 19:00Speaker 6: So again, you may need starting up that business.
- 19:04Speaker 7: You may need to write that, you know, write that
- 19:07Speaker 7: vehicle off one hundred percent in that year. But again,
- 19:10Speaker 7: let's say if we sat down and we were like,
- 19:13Speaker 7: you know what, if we kind of take the entire
- 19:16Speaker 7: cost of the vehicle, that may put us in a negative.
- 19:19Speaker 7: Depending on what you're trying to do. You may try
- 19:21Speaker 7: to qualify for a home. You may be trying to
- 19:22Speaker 7: go for a loan, right, you may not want your
- 19:26Speaker 7: even though when they do loans they add back depreciation.
- 19:29Speaker 7: But you may not want to exhaust all of that,
- 19:34Speaker 7: all of that expense into for twenty twenty.
- 19:37Speaker 6: You may want to kind of keep it on the
- 19:39Speaker 6: book so that.
- 19:39Speaker 7: You can exhaust it over time, right, And that is
- 19:43Speaker 7: what's extremely important, and that's why it's important to have
- 19:46Speaker 7: these conversations.
- 19:47Speaker 4: Right.
- 19:48Speaker 7: So, there's a couple things that I pointed out so
- 19:50Speaker 7: far that you need to have the conversation. You need
- 19:52Speaker 7: to understand if you're going to do the actual method
- 19:54Speaker 7: or the knowledge method. You also need to understand if
- 19:56Speaker 7: you're going to take advantage of bonus and depreciation or
- 20:00Speaker 7: you're not right. And so those conversations have to be had,
- 20:04Speaker 7: and they have to be had ideally before the year
- 20:07Speaker 7: is over.
- 20:07Speaker 6: Ray.
- 20:08Speaker 7: I have so many clients that I engage and they're like, yeah,
- 20:11Speaker 7: only time I talk to my accountant is January through April.
- 20:15Speaker 7: But now that you guys have businesses, you have trucking companies,
- 20:19Speaker 7: you real estate, whatever it is, you can't wait until
- 20:23Speaker 7: the end of I mean, the next year to talk
- 20:26Speaker 7: about taxes.
- 20:29Speaker 5: It's a fact. It's extremely important, and I feel like
- 20:34Speaker 5: there's so much stuff that people don't know, like you
- 20:36Speaker 5: know what I'm saying. It's like even I didn't know
- 20:39Speaker 5: about that the gas card, and I'm a financial advisor,
- 20:44Speaker 5: so there's so much information out there, and it's like
- 20:47Speaker 5: if you're not properly educated, you can make mistakes. And
- 20:50Speaker 5: like I said, this is it's a lot easier than
- 20:53Speaker 5: I thought it was going to be. All you need
- 20:54Speaker 5: is the EI in number. You need a business name,
- 20:57Speaker 5: so when you when you when you get the car,
- 20:59Speaker 5: you get them, you give them that information.
- 21:00Speaker 2: I don't think you need the articles of operation.
- 21:03Speaker 5: The articles of operation, your address that you incorporated business with.
- 21:06Speaker 5: And then if the business is like under ten years,
- 21:09Speaker 5: I don't think you could get it just solely on
- 21:10Speaker 5: your business. So you have to be a personal guaranteur, guarantee, whatever.
- 21:16Speaker 2: But even that is good to know.
- 21:17Speaker 3: So like it's good to know that to have good
- 21:19Speaker 3: credit too, right, because if your credit is not great,
- 21:21Speaker 3: then you can't be the personal yeah.
- 21:23Speaker 2: For your own call.
- 21:24Speaker 5: So so they run like your personal credit, but it's
- 21:27Speaker 5: under your business name, right, So the business, the businesses,
- 21:30Speaker 5: the cars under the business names, but they run your
- 21:32Speaker 5: personal credits at And it's a vibe.
- 21:38Speaker 4: Like knowing that.
- 21:40Speaker 6: That car like knowing that my car belongs to my business.
- 21:44Speaker 6: It just I don't know, it feels better.
- 21:46Speaker 7: But just to kind of piggyback for what you guys
- 21:48Speaker 7: were saying, it's really important. One, Yes, your credit needs
- 21:51Speaker 7: to be in shape, right, you have to have your
- 21:54Speaker 7: credit together, But to just kind of go through the
- 21:58Speaker 7: ways that you can qualify for a car loan, one
- 22:01Speaker 7: is completely outright purchasing it through your business name. However,
- 22:05Speaker 7: you're not going to be able to outright purchase it
- 22:07Speaker 7: under your business name if one, you don't have established
- 22:10Speaker 7: credit or you've never had any big loans, right. So
- 22:15Speaker 7: for me, that was the scenario where I had some
- 22:20Speaker 7: business credit. I had the taxes, right, so they should
- 22:23Speaker 7: be asking for taxes. They ask for your bank statement,
- 22:26Speaker 7: right because ideally, just how you need to qualify for
- 22:29Speaker 7: the loan, they want to see what's going on on
- 22:31Speaker 7: your business in so you have to show them bank statements.
- 22:34Speaker 7: You have to show them tax returns. But that may
- 22:38Speaker 7: not be enough even if you have the income side,
- 22:41Speaker 7: because what they may want to say is, Okay, we
- 22:44Speaker 7: can't really trust you to give you this big loan
- 22:47Speaker 7: because you've never had a loan exclusively in your business name.
- 22:50Speaker 7: So that's when you, as the individual, have to come
- 22:54Speaker 7: in and that's the business right, and that can be
- 22:56Speaker 7: done in two ways. You can either come in as
- 22:58Speaker 7: a co signer, which you got as we're just talking about,
- 23:01Speaker 7: for a co applicant, right, and so those are two
- 23:04Speaker 7: different things, Like I have to I went in as
- 23:06Speaker 7: a co applicant. I'm not sure if you guys went
- 23:09Speaker 7: in as co signers a co applicants, because it's kind
- 23:12Speaker 7: of like the difference is that a co signer, like
- 23:14Speaker 7: it doesn't show up on your personal credit, right, but
- 23:19Speaker 7: the co applicant it does show up, right, it shows
- 23:22Speaker 7: up on my personal credit because it's almost like we
- 23:25Speaker 7: went me and my business, we went into the loan together.
- 23:28Speaker 7: So that's why it's showing up on my business side
- 23:30Speaker 7: as well as my personal side. So I just wanted
- 23:34Speaker 7: to point that out that there are you know, that's
- 23:37Speaker 7: also another way as well that you know you will qualify,
- 23:42Speaker 7: but again that's kind of more of a lending thing.
- 23:45Speaker 7: From an accounting side, you definitely got to make sure
- 23:47Speaker 7: that you know your taxes are completed. You have to
- 23:52Speaker 7: make sure that it is a situation where you know
- 23:56Speaker 7: they some lenders may request the profit and laws statement,
- 23:59Speaker 7: i e. You'll need to make sure that your bookkeeping
- 24:01Speaker 7: is in place, which a lot of business owners that's
- 24:04Speaker 7: like the first thing that they ne blect is there
- 24:07Speaker 7: is their bookkeeping.
- 24:08Speaker 6: So just being financially set so that you can.
- 24:13Speaker 7: Position yourself to not only save on taxes, but like
- 24:17Speaker 7: really build your business credit.
- 24:21Speaker 5: All right, we got we got a few questions for you,
- 24:23Speaker 5: miss business. But before we go to the questions, everybody
- 24:26Speaker 5: on YouTube, if you could be so kind to like
- 24:28Speaker 5: hit the like button, greatly appreciate it. And for people
- 24:31Speaker 5: that might just be tuning into YouTube that might not
- 24:33Speaker 5: know what's going on here. So, as I said, Eyo University,
- 24:37Speaker 5: there's our educational platform. So we have seventy archives classes
- 24:41Speaker 5: and then we have weekly classes every single week on
- 24:44Speaker 5: different topics from different presenters, everything from how to start
- 24:46Speaker 5: a marijuana business, to car insurance, to real estate to taxes,
- 24:51Speaker 5: the taxes everything. And then we have monthly financial planning
- 24:54Speaker 5: calls with me. We have bi weekly real estate calls
- 24:56Speaker 5: with MG the Mortgage Guide. We have book Club ran
- 24:59Speaker 5: by You, Movie Love, ran Value, private Facebook group. So
- 25:03Speaker 5: it's the whole community. It's not an Investment Club. There's
- 25:06Speaker 5: not an investment tips, it's the actual university where you learn.
- 25:09Speaker 5: And we're going to actually open our trade department God
- 25:11Speaker 5: Willing in twenty twenty one with the HVAC and like
- 25:14Speaker 5: plumbing and stuff like that to try to tea.
- 25:16Speaker 2: People at skills. Skills.
- 25:18Speaker 5: Skills is very important. Skills is very important. So once
- 25:20Speaker 5: a month we do it what we call open enrollment
- 25:22Speaker 5: to just like open it up to the public and
- 25:25Speaker 5: then just you know, show it and you can, you know,
- 25:27Speaker 5: see for yourself. So right now for Black Friday to
- 25:29Speaker 5: the end of Black Fighter, we're running a fifty percent
- 25:31Speaker 5: off sale on an annual membership, which is three hundred
- 25:36Speaker 5: and thirty three dollars like that, Yeah, for the year,
- 25:38Speaker 5: three hundred and thirty dollars for years.
- 25:40Speaker 3: It's like, I know, there's a bunch of people that's
- 25:41Speaker 3: like waiting for olock Pso this is lessing in P five.
- 25:44Speaker 5: No, that's it's close to this.
- 25:46Speaker 2: Less than that.
- 25:46Speaker 5: I'm gonna put the link inhead. The link is also
- 25:48Speaker 5: in the description, so if you want to if you
- 25:51Speaker 5: want to do it, the code, the code is e
- 25:53Speaker 5: y L fifty and you go to Eyo University dot
- 25:56Speaker 5: com and you get fifty percent off a couple hundred
- 25:59Speaker 5: dollars lets less than a night out in Atlanta. That's
- 26:02Speaker 5: the only place. Atlanta is the only place that's open.
- 26:04Speaker 5: So that's the only thing I could really say.
- 26:06Speaker 2: That's a big.
- 26:07Speaker 5: Ain't no other place open. But yeah, part of uy
- 26:10Speaker 5: University is that we get question and answers. So Market
- 26:12Speaker 5: Mondays is kind of like a case studying that you
- 26:15Speaker 5: get to. But this is what we do every single
- 26:17Speaker 5: week where we bring an expert in the field and
- 26:19Speaker 5: then people get to ask them questions. So let's go
- 26:21Speaker 5: to a question.
- 26:23Speaker 3: All right, Aaron, we're coming to you. I mute yourself.
- 26:24Speaker 3: You've been unmuted. What's going on?
- 26:29Speaker 8: What's going off? I'm in my car right now. One second?
- 26:34Speaker 8: All right, yo, what's going on?
- 26:36Speaker 2: Glad to be on.
- 26:36Speaker 8: I appreciate it. Uh, you know, I love out here
- 26:39Speaker 8: from Cali, straight out all the way from California. Market Monday. Yeah,
- 26:45Speaker 8: I've been rocking with Johnson earlier this year, and I
- 26:48Speaker 8: can attest you just listening more so and not necessarily
- 26:51Speaker 8: taking action on a lot of the gyms that you guys,
- 26:53Speaker 8: you know, gave out. I missed on a lot. But anyway,
- 26:57Speaker 8: one of my questions was, I'm currently I just created
- 27:01Speaker 8: an LLC, recently got that established. I'm opening up a
- 27:05Speaker 8: business bank account next week play at the end of
- 27:08Speaker 8: the week. One of my questions is, you know for
- 27:10Speaker 8: business credit. That's kind of why I've been holding off
- 27:12Speaker 8: on it. I'm currently leveraging personnel debt. I have that
- 27:17Speaker 8: I have the capital to pay to pay it down
- 27:19Speaker 8: if I need to. But but like I said, I'm
- 27:21Speaker 8: leveraging it for you know, for my future. Would you
- 27:25Speaker 8: miss business would you recommend or Rashaw, would you recommend
- 27:28Speaker 8: lowering my personal debt prior to applying for the business
- 27:31Speaker 8: credit and then just releverage my personal there after I
- 27:35Speaker 8: established the vision the business credit.
- 27:39Speaker 7: So what I will say is when you first start
- 27:44Speaker 7: establishing your business credit, your personal credit doesn't play a part,
- 27:49Speaker 7: meaning that your first step should be getting your done's number,
- 27:54Speaker 7: creating trade lines with certain with certain companies such as
- 27:59Speaker 7: Staple are filled, trying to get a gas card, looking
- 28:04Speaker 7: for other companies to report to duns in Bradstreet.
- 28:07Speaker 6: And that's another thing.
- 28:08Speaker 7: You want to make sure that whomver you are working
- 28:12Speaker 7: with will not working but whomever you decide to get
- 28:16Speaker 7: a tradeline or a credit card with you want to
- 28:19Speaker 7: ask them the question do you report to duns and Bradstreet.
- 28:24Speaker 6: I like, for instance, I use quill dot com.
- 28:26Speaker 7: I have an office, so I use quill dot com
- 28:30Speaker 7: to order like a lot of my office supplies, to.
- 28:33Speaker 6: Order a lot of I even order like some home supplies.
- 28:36Speaker 7: It costs a little bit more, but it's all in
- 28:38Speaker 7: the name of me building my business credit. So I
- 28:42Speaker 7: don't necessarily feel that you have to reduce your personal credit,
- 28:48Speaker 7: I mean your personal debt before going to start establishing
- 28:51Speaker 7: your business credit.
- 28:52Speaker 6: But what I will say is that you know, if
- 28:55Speaker 6: and you know you.
- 28:56Speaker 7: Down the road you want to go, and you know,
- 28:59Speaker 7: purchase a vehicle in your name, you have to keep
- 29:01Speaker 7: in mind that that personal debt may be affecting your
- 29:04Speaker 7: personal credit score.
- 29:06Speaker 6: And because you don't have any.
- 29:07Speaker 7: Big you've never had any big debt underneath your business name,
- 29:11Speaker 7: it may be a situation where that will cause you
- 29:13Speaker 7: to not qualify for the loan because your dt I
- 29:18Speaker 7: or your credit score maybe lower and your dt I
- 29:20Speaker 7: may be higher.
- 29:22Speaker 6: Right, So those are just things to consider.
- 29:25Speaker 8: Oh, absolutely everything you talked about I've already you know,
- 29:28Speaker 8: like I said, crossing my eyes. I mean, I'm sorry,
- 29:31Speaker 8: crossing my t do my eyes, you know, like I've
- 29:34Speaker 8: learned a lot from you, guys. I am a member
- 29:36Speaker 8: of e y L University. I did purchase your tax
- 29:39Speaker 8: uh tax three hundred tax sheet.
- 29:41Speaker 6: Oh yes, I have a book, guys.
- 29:44Speaker 4: Yeah, we're your cross tax deduction.
- 29:46Speaker 8: Yeah that book.
- 29:50Speaker 5: No I even know you had a book at a book.
- 29:57Speaker 8: The website. You visit the website. You got to scroll
- 29:59Speaker 8: down to bottom a little bit.
- 30:01Speaker 5: Right there, Aaron, Aaron, appreciate.
- 30:04Speaker 8: You right there. Definitely good. I am you know what
- 30:12Speaker 8: I mean.
- 30:13Speaker 2: Appreciate you, Appreciate you.
- 30:15Speaker 5: Appreciate you.
- 30:15Speaker 6: Brother.
- 30:16Speaker 2: We got we got some more. We got more surprises coming.
- 30:18Speaker 5: So we always got to respect. We gotta respect the godline.
- 30:21Speaker 2: We have this, this is a guideline.
- 30:23Speaker 5: So we have to.
- 30:26Speaker 2: Shout out, shout to.
- 30:29Speaker 5: Thank you. Don't do that.
- 30:35Speaker 2: Don't do that, Aaron. We don't want to you know
- 30:36Speaker 2: what I mean. Please please, please, please, in case, just
- 30:39Speaker 2: in case, we love you. We love you.
- 30:41Speaker 3: Shout out to all the earnest respectfully.
- 30:44Speaker 2: You want to take one more, Let's take one more.
- 30:46Speaker 2: Let's say one more.
- 30:47Speaker 7: Somebody said in the commonness, business is also hoarded all
- 30:50Speaker 7: her videos.
- 30:50Speaker 6: What videos?
- 30:51Speaker 2: What you guys are talking about? Boss?
- 30:54Speaker 5: What's going on?
- 30:55Speaker 2: You've been unmuted on yourself. Oh you know the rules too.
- 31:01Speaker 2: That's my guys going off.
- 31:10Speaker 4: A couple of weeks ago.
- 31:14Speaker 5: Can can't hear you?
- 31:16Speaker 9: Bro?
- 31:16Speaker 2: You got you got you gotta put the newspaper down
- 31:18Speaker 2: for a second.
- 31:20Speaker 6: I'm taking notes.
- 31:21Speaker 4: You guys.
- 31:21Speaker 5: Talk you guys, hear me? Yeah, I got you. Now
- 31:24Speaker 5: he's moving, he's moving boxes, Christmas Black Friday, moving the turkey.
- 31:30Speaker 5: Got that PS five, Got the PS five.
- 31:34Speaker 10: I'd rather put put the money in and the sony
- 31:36Speaker 10: stock and get into PS five.
- 31:38Speaker 5: So talk.
- 31:40Speaker 2: I love it.
- 31:40Speaker 5: Respect that, I respect that.
- 31:42Speaker 4: Well.
- 31:42Speaker 10: My question is I'm a little confused about the six
- 31:45Speaker 10: thousand pounds, Like I'm interested in getting the car under
- 31:49Speaker 10: the ll c UH, particularly something like a rap for
- 31:52Speaker 10: something sues like. Can I explain more about that?
- 31:56Speaker 6: So rap board definitely.
- 31:58Speaker 7: So rain drovers in g wagons are pretty heavy and
- 32:02Speaker 7: way bigger than WRAP four, So I can imagine that
- 32:05Speaker 7: a rap four is not anywhere near six thousand pounds.
- 32:10Speaker 7: So in your case, if you decided to outright by
- 32:14Speaker 7: the vehicle or finance the vehicle, pretty much that will
- 32:17Speaker 7: sit as an asset of your business. So what will
- 32:20Speaker 7: happen is the first year you'll be able to duck
- 32:22Speaker 7: eighteen thousand dollars, and then the second year you can
- 32:26Speaker 7: deduct sixteen thousand. The year after that you can deduct
- 32:29Speaker 7: nine thousand, six hundred, and then it goes on and
- 32:31Speaker 7: on right until you fully exhaust on the value of
- 32:35Speaker 7: your of your of the wrap four. So the six
- 32:40Speaker 7: thousand pounds is it's for larger vehicles, right, very heavy
- 32:44Speaker 7: vehicles over six thousand. As Rashad said, range rovers kind
- 32:48Speaker 7: of come in right under right, same thing with my
- 32:50Speaker 7: g wagon. It comes right under that six thousand pounds,
- 32:54Speaker 7: which means that we don't qualify to deduct one hundred
- 32:57Speaker 7: percent of the vehicle.
- 32:58Speaker 4: We have to go.
- 33:00Speaker 7: I be the appreciation kind of like tears that I
- 33:04Speaker 7: just mentioned.
- 33:05Speaker 6: To you just now, Okay, I gotcha.
- 33:08Speaker 5: Appreciate you, Thank you, happy, thanks for giving everybody.
- 33:11Speaker 3: But hey, boss, I want to just give you a
- 33:13Speaker 3: huge shout out man, and a big things to you.
- 33:15Speaker 2: You are one of those those top earners that we
- 33:17Speaker 2: always talk about.
- 33:18Speaker 5: Man.
- 33:18Speaker 3: Every time we put something out, you always repost it,
- 33:20Speaker 3: and so we make sure that we repost you, so
- 33:22Speaker 3: we are thankful for you and your your family. Man
- 33:24Speaker 3: be safe out there, brother.
- 33:26Speaker 10: All right, thank you. That was thank you for coming
- 33:29Speaker 10: after the Dykeman this weekend. I wish I was back
- 33:31Speaker 10: home to meet you guys in person, but I keep up.
- 33:34Speaker 5: The great shout shout out to the good folks who
- 33:38Speaker 5: was actually up to God to give away a TV
- 33:40Speaker 5: and then they got the Disneyland trip and they got
- 33:43Speaker 5: the what else did they get? I pad iPad? So
- 33:46Speaker 5: we gave the winners. We gave the winners today. So
- 33:48Speaker 5: shout out to all the good folks. A dykeman, appreciate y'all.
- 33:51Speaker 5: Uh miss business. I got a question about this p
- 33:55Speaker 5: PP situation. Yeah, that's a pandemic within itself in Atlanta.
- 34:02Speaker 5: They're coming in Atlanta, they running around. So this PPP
- 34:10Speaker 5: situation was good to a lot of us. So what's
- 34:14Speaker 5: what's the deal with this repayment situation?
- 34:16Speaker 6: Okay, So now.
- 34:18Speaker 7: In regards to PPP, it now has come the time
- 34:21Speaker 7: everyone has gotten their money. Well, we're waiting to kind
- 34:24Speaker 7: of see if there will be a second PPP that
- 34:27Speaker 7: will come out in the Democratic bill. Before Trump came
- 34:31Speaker 7: out and was like I'm not talking about any of
- 34:33Speaker 7: this until the election is over. There was talk about
- 34:37Speaker 7: whomever received the PPP to receive a second PPP, so
- 34:42Speaker 7: we'll have to kind of stay tuned and see what
- 34:44Speaker 7: they decide to do. Congress is going on recess, so honestly,
- 34:48Speaker 7: you probably won't hear anything about a second PPP or
- 34:52Speaker 7: a stimulus check until the new year. Now, in regards
- 34:56Speaker 7: to PPPs that anyone have received, now, well not right now,
- 35:02Speaker 7: but no, right now.
- 35:03Speaker 6: We're starting to apply for forgiveness. Right, So, you either
- 35:08Speaker 6: had an.
- 35:09Speaker 7: Eight week period or twenty four week period to pretty
- 35:12Speaker 7: much pretty much exhaust all of your PPP funds, right.
- 35:19Speaker 6: They went back and forth.
- 35:21Speaker 7: First, it started out with seventy five percent had to
- 35:23Speaker 7: be allocated to payroll costs. Then they reduced it down
- 35:26Speaker 7: to sixty percent, and then said the rest can be
- 35:30Speaker 7: made up in either mortgage interest payments, rent utilities. But
- 35:36Speaker 7: for those of you that received a PPP that's less
- 35:40Speaker 7: than fifty thousand, it pretty much is going to automatically
- 35:44Speaker 7: be forgiven. So there's two things that you have to
- 35:46Speaker 7: be mindful of. One when your accountant is doing your taxes.
- 35:52Speaker 4: The other good thing about.
- 35:53Speaker 7: PPP is they said if it was less than fifty thousand,
- 35:56Speaker 7: keep it.
- 35:57Speaker 6: You don't have to report it as income. It pretty
- 36:00Speaker 6: much washes right.
- 36:01Speaker 7: However, your taxes have to be correctly done, right because
- 36:05Speaker 7: you don't want to.
- 36:06Speaker 6: Include this income.
- 36:07Speaker 7: You have to make sure that your expenses are correctly
- 36:09Speaker 7: offsetting that correctly offset in that income, so that at
- 36:14Speaker 7: the end of the year it is you're not pretty
- 36:17Speaker 7: much paying taxes on that money. Right, So that was
- 36:19Speaker 7: another beautiful thing. Another thing is you still do have
- 36:23Speaker 7: to apply for forgiveness. So that is something that my company,
- 36:28Speaker 7: Brooks Alliance. That's what we're in the process of doing,
- 36:31Speaker 7: kind of getting all of our clients that we know
- 36:33Speaker 7: got PPP and we are going to start submitting those
- 36:37Speaker 7: applications to make sure one that don't have to pay
- 36:41Speaker 7: it back. But then two that you know when tax
- 36:45Speaker 7: time comes, you're not being taxed.
- 36:47Speaker 6: On that.
- 36:49Speaker 5: There big Eyo University is nothing like it. It's nothing
- 36:54Speaker 5: like you on the market. And then Professor Brookes, I
- 36:56Speaker 5: believe that you're going to be a tenured professor for us,
- 36:59Speaker 5: right of course. So what we're going to through with
- 37:02Speaker 5: ey University in twenty twenty one, we're making a lot
- 37:04Speaker 5: of improvements. We're going to have how many eight right now?
- 37:08Speaker 5: We're going to have eight what we call tenured professors
- 37:10Speaker 5: where once a quarter they're going to teach a class.
- 37:13Speaker 5: So Miss Business is one of the professors that's going
- 37:15Speaker 5: to teach a class once a quarter. So's it's not
- 37:19Speaker 5: like just the one off.
- 37:20Speaker 2: You already got some names. We got some names.
- 37:21Speaker 5: Oh, we got some big names. It's a real university. No,
- 37:24Speaker 5: it's a real school now, big town, it's a real
- 37:26Speaker 5: school town. We had orientation.
- 37:27Speaker 2: Really is the Jenet Janet? That orientation was crazy. She
- 37:30Speaker 2: ain't here right now.
- 37:30Speaker 5: Shout out to Jennet. Miss Business is the best in
- 37:32Speaker 5: the game. Man, what's your what's your book? What's your book? Information?
- 37:36Speaker 5: I didn't even know you had a book.
- 37:37Speaker 7: So my book is three hundred plus tax deductions.
- 37:41Speaker 6: So I pretty much set that.
- 37:43Speaker 7: I actually released it last year and it's pretty It
- 37:47Speaker 7: pretty much just lists out all of these tax deductions.
- 37:49Speaker 7: Because the number one question I always get from people
- 37:53Speaker 7: is what can I write off? What can I write off?
- 37:56Speaker 6: Right? So what I did.
- 37:58Speaker 7: Was I sat down and I compiled over three hundred deductions.
- 38:04Speaker 7: I've seen some people in the comment asking where can
- 38:06Speaker 7: they get the book. My website is missed, so ms
- 38:10Speaker 7: business one zero one dot com and the book should
- 38:14Speaker 7: be right there on the homepage. You should see like
- 38:16Speaker 7: a new books link. But it's it's it's it's good,
- 38:20Speaker 7: because that's the number one question I always get, like
- 38:22Speaker 7: what can.
- 38:22Speaker 6: I write off?
- 38:23Speaker 7: And like you can write off everything with the right
- 38:26Speaker 7: with the right process in place.
- 38:28Speaker 5: Ray, So you're gonna you're going to see a lot.
- 38:31Speaker 5: You're going to see a lot of miss business and alsia. Rightfully,
- 38:35Speaker 5: twenty one big things, big things, big things are going.
- 38:39Speaker 6: It's coming.
- 38:40Speaker 2: Oh that was as paths. Wow, you're.
- 38:45Speaker 5: One. Go on, you're done. No, you're done.
- 38:48Speaker 2: No, my parents would be seeing on the floor right now.
- 38:52Speaker 5: Shout out to the Jamaican masses out there. Man, they
- 38:55Speaker 5: adopted me. Man, you know I'm halfway into culture. I
- 38:59Speaker 5: just ate something making food today.
- 39:00Speaker 2: Don't we go start two nineteens in white planes? BX,
- 39:04Speaker 2: what up?
- 39:05Speaker 5: Bronx? Man, dangerous grounds out there.
- 39:07Speaker 3: That it got spicy in there for a second. To
- 39:09Speaker 3: get out of there, I said, Yo, let me get
- 39:10Speaker 3: my drug sluts to go.
- 39:11Speaker 2: I'll be back.
- 39:14Speaker 5: It's a little dangerous out there. Shout out to the
- 39:17Speaker 5: bronx man. That's our birthplace, both.
- 39:19Speaker 2: Of Yeah, yeah man, shout out the sound of you.
- 39:21Speaker 2: He was going up in gun Hill.
- 39:23Speaker 5: Yeah, Gun Hill. Shout out to gun Hill Man. That's
- 39:25Speaker 5: where it all started for me, Miss Business. It's been
- 39:28Speaker 5: a pleasure. Thank you for coming in the last minute
- 39:31Speaker 5: being a pitch hitter for us. We greatly appreciate it.
- 39:34Speaker 5: How can the people contact you? What's your what's your
- 39:37Speaker 5: social media handles and all that.
- 39:39Speaker 7: So my social media handle across all platforms Instagram, Facebook
- 39:44Speaker 7: is Miss Business one on one, So you guys can
- 39:48Speaker 7: email me on my on my pages, my consultations. So
- 39:53Speaker 7: if you guys, I've seen a couple of people asking

- 40:01Speaker 7: you guys get my book because I know that you
- 40:03Speaker 7: all want to know about all the things that you

- 40:09Speaker 7: need to slide in my DM. I just hire somebody
- 40:12Speaker 7: to help me into my DM. I like that, Like
- 40:16Speaker 7: that's like, don't DM me.
- 40:18Speaker 6: I'm like, no, DM me.
- 40:19Speaker 7: So you know, however, you guys need to get in contact.
- 40:21Speaker 2: With me, I got an automated message, but I got
- 40:26Speaker 2: an automated message.
- 40:27Speaker 5: That's Miss Business. Thank you. Like I said, I clearly appreciate.
- 40:31Speaker 5: That was a lot of that was a lot of gems.
- 40:33Speaker 5: And this is, like I said, this is not a
- 40:34Speaker 5: usual Eyo University class. This is an all star. This
- 40:37Speaker 5: is an all star pre we had to we had
- 40:39Speaker 5: to push some things together at the last minute. So
- 40:43Speaker 5: we're going to bring one person on for a couple
- 40:45Speaker 5: of minutes. So Miss Business, thank.
- 40:47Speaker 6: You, no problem, Thank you so much for having me.
- 40:51Speaker 2: Oh, I always love, always love, thank you.
- 40:54Speaker 6: I want to continue to.
- 40:55Speaker 3: Watch to see what we got here. I'm gonna just
- 41:01Speaker 3: put you right here to an attendee and he's still
- 41:06Speaker 3: in there.
- 41:07Speaker 5: Yeah, let's get let's get my boy on real quick.
- 41:11Speaker 5: We always try to over deliver at Ernalisha, we try
- 41:14Speaker 5: to over deliver. We we want to give you more
- 41:18Speaker 5: than what we promised you.
- 41:21Speaker 2: Let's see.
- 41:23Speaker 11: Yeah there he goes, oh there, yeah, he just gotta
- 41:32Speaker 11: turn this camera on.
- 41:34Speaker 5: Turn your camera and your mic on. Bro.
- 41:37Speaker 2: They might be familiar with this guy.
- 41:38Speaker 4: Hey, what's up man, what's going on?
- 41:41Speaker 6: Ah?
- 41:42Speaker 2: My god?
- 41:42Speaker 5: What's good? Market Monday legend himself Quentin Martin. What's up, brother, I.
- 41:47Speaker 4: Can't call it. I'm getting ready to get these plates
- 41:49Speaker 4: on tomorrow.
- 41:51Speaker 2: Committee of course.
- 41:53Speaker 4: Yeah, anybody that tries the area, if you got placed,
- 41:55Speaker 4: I got a little foil.
- 41:57Speaker 12: I do drive by visits as a fact. I'll come through.
- 42:00Speaker 12: I got to bring my own hands. Don't worry about
- 42:02Speaker 12: nothing else. I got you.
- 42:04Speaker 3: You know you came doing We did your episode on
- 42:07Speaker 3: East the last year. You left with a pan, Yes, sir, Yeah,
- 42:11Speaker 3: we had we.
- 42:11Speaker 4: Had the same fact.
- 42:14Speaker 12: Yeah, I do that. Don't worry about you know, I
- 42:18Speaker 12: got utensils all that. Don't worry about. That's a fact.
- 42:21Speaker 5: So you know we it's crazy because U University today.
- 42:23Speaker 5: We promised Wall Street trapper, but he had some last
- 42:27Speaker 5: minute issues. So he's here now. But it took him
- 42:29Speaker 5: a while. So we had to put some things together.
- 42:32Speaker 5: But it's a good thing that were highly connected and
- 42:35Speaker 5: we put this together on the fly in the you
- 42:38Speaker 5: don't know who I know. So so we just had
- 42:43Speaker 5: miss business. All right, guys. So a lot of people
- 42:52Speaker 5: asks us how do they make a podcast? So I'm
- 42:54Speaker 5: letting on a secret on the easiest, most productive way
- 42:59Speaker 5: to start and get it up and running, and that
- 43:02Speaker 5: is The app called Anchor is free. They have all
- 43:05Speaker 5: kinds of cool creation tools that allow you to record
- 43:07Speaker 5: and edit your podcast right from your phone or computer.
- 43:10Speaker 5: They will distribute your podcast for you to all of
- 43:13Speaker 5: the major outlets including Spotify, Apple, Google, and many more,
- 43:16Speaker 5: and you can make money from your podcast with no
- 43:19Speaker 5: minimum listenership. It's everything you need to make a podcast
- 43:22Speaker 5: in one simple, easy place. So if you're interested in
- 43:26Speaker 5: starting a podcast, go download the free Anchor app or
- 43:30Speaker 5: go to anchor dot fm to get started. Let's do it.
- 43:38Speaker 5: And now we're about to HAVEQ. Like I said, if
- 43:39Speaker 5: you watch Market Monday's generally no Q. And if you
- 43:42Speaker 5: watch earnier Leidia episode fifteen, the first person ever to
- 43:44Speaker 5: talk about stocks was Q. So you just got a
- 43:47Speaker 5: couple of investment questions for you, brother. You want to
- 43:51Speaker 5: start it off the IPO situation.
- 43:52Speaker 2: Yeah, Well, first I want to give an announcement, man,
- 43:54Speaker 2: because we.
- 43:54Speaker 5: Oh yeahah, let's talk about that. Let's talk about that,
- 43:56Speaker 5: Let's talk about that. So as we said, Eyo University,
- 43:59Speaker 5: I wanted to change is that we're making for this
- 44:01Speaker 5: coming years that we have a professor series and where
- 44:04Speaker 5: they teach four times a year. Miss Businesses is part
- 44:07Speaker 5: of the Professor series, and you know we had to
- 44:10Speaker 5: add investment part of it. Of course we got market Mondays,
- 44:13Speaker 5: but we had to add an investment part of it
- 44:14Speaker 5: where it's like people can ask questions and stuff like that.
- 44:17Speaker 5: So what better person than the homie then the home team,
- 44:21Speaker 5: hometown hero. So Quainton, you will be part of the
- 44:25Speaker 5: EYL Professors for twenty twenty one.
- 44:27Speaker 4: I'm here, sir, Yes, sir, looking forward to it. Man,
- 44:30Speaker 4: it's honoring a pleasure.
- 44:33Speaker 5: Gets better and better, man, gets better and better.
- 44:36Speaker 2: I told you we got some things, man, I told
- 44:37Speaker 2: you we're coming with some names. Man.
- 44:39Speaker 3: But one of the things, and a lot of people
- 44:41Speaker 3: ask us about it, is the IPO game.
- 44:43Speaker 2: And we know there's some big hitters coming.
- 44:46Speaker 3: We know Door dashes on this way, we know Rodblus
- 44:48Speaker 3: is on this way, we know Airbnb's on his way.
- 44:50Speaker 3: And one of that I'm looking at to a firm,
- 44:53Speaker 3: what do we make of it when we're talking about IPOs?
- 44:56Speaker 2: How do we invest? When is it a good time
- 44:58Speaker 2: to invest? What do we make of the ip Yeah?
- 45:01Speaker 12: I like to play it a lot safer than most
- 45:02Speaker 12: people because you have the secondary market, right, So the
- 45:06Speaker 12: primary market. When it goes through the underwriting and the
- 45:08Speaker 12: companies that they're hands on the shares, there's a whole
- 45:11Speaker 12: bunch of jockeying and a lot of stuff that the
- 45:13Speaker 12: average retail investor doesn't know. Right, So you see these
- 45:16Speaker 12: A good example would be Snowflake, Right, you see Snowflake
- 45:19Speaker 12: one hundred and twenty dollars. Ipo comes to the market
- 45:22Speaker 12: at two forty, runs to three, and the retreats back
- 45:25Speaker 12: down to two twenty three, And so I like to
- 45:29Speaker 12: at least wait a little bit for the company to
- 45:31Speaker 12: prove they're profitable. So give it a couple of quarters,
- 45:33Speaker 12: even if I'm missing out on certain growth, Because as
- 45:36Speaker 12: a retail investor, your risk is a lot higher than
- 45:38Speaker 12: the institution or somebody has money. So I always lend
- 45:41Speaker 12: on opportunity costs. This doesn't mean like you shouldn't buy it,
- 45:44Speaker 12: But what it means is like I use example all
- 45:46Speaker 12: the time. If you go to a vending machine and
- 45:49Speaker 12: something costs a dollar and you're hungry, you're like, it's
- 45:51Speaker 12: only a dollar. If I don't like it whenever, I'll
- 45:54Speaker 12: throw it out right. But if that same item costs
- 45:56Speaker 12: ten dollars, You're like, I don't know off on buy
- 46:00Speaker 12: that because that's ten that never really had that you
- 46:02Speaker 12: start kind of having different feelings about making that purchase.
- 46:06Speaker 6: Now.
- 46:06Speaker 12: I think where it gets shaky with IPOs is just
- 46:09Speaker 12: that Now, if you have a million dollar portfolio and
- 46:11Speaker 12: you can sit on shares and you have a lot
- 46:13Speaker 12: of time, that's different. But if you're taking a decent
- 46:17Speaker 12: portion of your capital and throwing it into an IPO,
- 46:22Speaker 12: then you're in for a roller coast surrounding because you
- 46:24Speaker 12: have no control at that juncture. Institutions have control, and
- 46:28Speaker 12: so the underwriters right, they have a certain time perio
- 46:31Speaker 12: where they can sell, and the people involved in the company.
- 46:34Speaker 12: So there's an emotional way when you first get in right,
- 46:37Speaker 12: because what if it goes the other way? There's no
- 46:40Speaker 12: secedary market to hold it up right, So there's no
- 46:42Speaker 12: like options and prefers and a whole bunch of other
- 46:44Speaker 12: stuff that set up trap doors for value. So like
- 46:47Speaker 12: when you see like Apple and certain companies, there's almost
- 46:49Speaker 12: like trap doors where like, okay, if Apple reverse back
- 46:52Speaker 12: to like one ten, there are people with like options
- 46:54Speaker 12: and prefers and a whole bunch of other things, and
- 46:56Speaker 12: companies and limit orders that keep that stock propped up
- 46:59Speaker 12: and it's not going to retreat too far back. When
- 47:01Speaker 12: that IPO comes out, it's gonna come up right. And
- 47:04Speaker 12: then what's holding it up right? Usually information or ideas.
- 47:08Speaker 12: But once you let somebody in your house, I call
- 47:10Speaker 12: IPOs MTV cribs. You used to judge artists, though, because
- 47:17Speaker 12: there'll be artists. If you thought I had mad money
- 47:19Speaker 12: the way he was talking greasy on BT, that's your
- 47:27Speaker 12: that's where you live at. And so you open the
- 47:29Speaker 12: door to your house and you let everybody in, they're
- 47:32Speaker 12: gonna find there's dust in the bathroom, there's a piece
- 47:35Speaker 12: of lint on the floor. So I like to give
- 47:38Speaker 12: I POS a little bit of time, a quarter or two,
- 47:41Speaker 12: even a little longer before I'm fully investor. I want
- 47:43Speaker 12: to take a lot of my capital and jump in there,
- 47:46Speaker 12: just because you have no control, and I don't. I
- 47:48Speaker 12: don't like as an investor, right there's ownership and there's control.
- 47:51Speaker 12: I don't want to own something that I have no
- 47:53Speaker 12: control over to a certain extent, certain extent, So for me,
- 47:56Speaker 12: I play it kind of off unless I have capital
- 47:59Speaker 12: that I don't care about. Now, if you have five
- 48:00Speaker 12: or ten reaction, you don't care about are you gonna
- 48:02Speaker 12: let it ride?
- 48:03Speaker 4: Let it ride.
- 48:04Speaker 12: But this is not an investment that you're gonna have
- 48:05Speaker 12: any controller when it comes out. So the airbnbs are
- 48:08Speaker 12: coming right the door dashes. All it takes is one
- 48:11Speaker 12: bad quarter for that thing to go out of the way.
- 48:13Speaker 5: And then let me ask you a question, because I
- 48:15Speaker 5: find you say that. So the four major I pos
- 48:18Speaker 5: that's coming out before the end of the year, door
- 48:20Speaker 5: dash roadblocks. For people that don't know what Robucks is,
- 48:23Speaker 5: that's a huge game.
- 48:24Speaker 3: If you're a parent, you better know what that is.
- 48:26Speaker 3: But you're getting charged to ninety nine a month, if
- 48:28Speaker 3: not ninety nine a month.
- 48:29Speaker 5: Wish an airbnb. Airbnb is interesting because a lot of
- 48:32Speaker 5: people wrote them off, but they rallied back extremely strong
- 48:35Speaker 5: during COVID. What I know, you're not a fan of
- 48:37Speaker 5: investing in IPOs as soon as they come out, But
- 48:39Speaker 5: if you had to just say, okay, one is probably
- 48:42Speaker 5: the leader in that race, like what's your what's your
- 48:44Speaker 5: favorite out of those four?
- 48:46Speaker 12: I think Airbnb and probably rollers are somewhere one a
- 48:51Speaker 12: one B. Airbnb is kind of revolutionizing in the space
- 48:55Speaker 12: that we look at as far as travel and part
- 48:57Speaker 12: of leisure and then robots like again with kids and
- 49:00Speaker 12: games and whatnot. Right, Like, I see a common out
- 49:03Speaker 12: door dash. Door dash is cool, but there's a lot
- 49:05Speaker 12: of competition nest space, so I want to look where
- 49:10Speaker 12: like I don't want the Rocky theory, but with with
- 49:12Speaker 12: with with Airbnb, you get the kind of rocky theory
- 49:16Speaker 12: with all the big hotels, right, the big hotels on
- 49:18Speaker 12: the rope right now, Like it's like when Rocky Ford
- 49:20Speaker 12: Drago and you finally got them. This is their their
- 49:22Speaker 12: big hotels and all this leads all this money they're
- 49:24Speaker 12: missing out. They're on the ropes. So the right timing
- 49:28Speaker 12: mixed with the right amount of spend could actually help them, right,
- 49:32Speaker 12: And so you look at like the Mariotta Hiltons of
- 49:36Speaker 12: the world, and you look at like what we're doing
- 49:38Speaker 12: now as far as if the timing is right, it's
- 49:41Speaker 12: gonna look like they're a lot better than maybe what
- 49:45Speaker 12: they are.
- 49:46Speaker 3: Right.
- 49:46Speaker 12: So, if the time is right, if we're able to
- 49:48Speaker 12: get you get the IPO around like that summertime where
- 49:51Speaker 12: like everybody's going to vacation.
- 49:52Speaker 5: We've gotten the.
- 49:52Speaker 4: Vaccine, still less check hits that momentum to.
- 49:55Speaker 12: Carry them right, like that's that's the moments that could
- 49:58Speaker 12: carry them.
- 49:59Speaker 4: So I like their story.
- 50:01Speaker 12: I think like door Das should get a lot of
- 50:02Speaker 12: competition in that space with a lot of other companies,
- 50:05Speaker 12: and there are more people coming, right, you know what.
- 50:08Speaker 3: The thing about Rodblucks is interesting. If somebody's asking, like,
- 50:11Speaker 3: what's Roadblucks. It's a computer gaming for kids. They have
- 50:14Speaker 3: the same kind of strategy that YouTube has their young
- 50:16Speaker 3: Their audience will always get younger, right, So like when
- 50:19Speaker 3: people like yo, YouTube will say right, yeah, because the
- 50:21Speaker 3: audience always gets younger. The only thing that concerns me
- 50:25Speaker 3: about Rodblucks in this instance is that it's rise.
- 50:30Speaker 2: Right. This year is helped by people being home.
- 50:33Speaker 3: Right, kids are home, so they're playing more, and I
- 50:36Speaker 3: wonder if that will happen in the next year or
- 50:38Speaker 3: two right when kids are not home there.
- 50:40Speaker 12: But if you look at like kids and it's not
- 50:42Speaker 12: our childhood, your mom will say go outside at eight
- 50:45Speaker 12: in the morning, I don't want to see you until
- 50:46Speaker 12: night time. Right, it's being side regardless. Kids don't be outside.
- 50:51Speaker 12: Like I live in downtown, I will never see kids outside. Like,
- 50:54Speaker 12: that's not the same way your kids don't be outside
- 50:58Speaker 12: that you know, I mean, there's a whole bunch other
- 51:00Speaker 12: stuff that goes on, so that that's what doesn't worry
- 51:02Speaker 12: about that, because the trend of kids being inside the
- 51:05Speaker 12: house doesn't change. Whether it's COVID or not. You're inside
- 51:08Speaker 12: a little bit more. But for the most card kids
- 51:10Speaker 12: are running right to the game as soon as you can,
- 51:13Speaker 12: kidd iPad or iPhone.
- 51:14Speaker 4: The kid is locked in. That's it.
- 51:16Speaker 12: You're at dinner, your child's wild, and here's the phone.
- 51:18Speaker 12: He's locked in the YouTube. I know three year olds
- 51:20Speaker 12: and know how to work a phone like a grown
- 51:21Speaker 12: like an adult, and so that doesn't necessarily worry me
- 51:25Speaker 12: too much.
- 51:28Speaker 5: What all right, any any any other questions for our
- 51:31Speaker 5: steam professor?
- 51:33Speaker 2: Well, we got some hands, we got some hands. I've
- 51:35Speaker 2: never seen this name. All right, let's take this name. Cisco.
- 51:37Speaker 2: We come, uh Nadia, we're coming to you. Mute yourself.
- 51:44Speaker 2: You've been unmuted.
- 51:51Speaker 3: No not, oh YouTubers, this is what we call a
- 51:53Speaker 3: fridge break. Fridg breaks are not allowed here at Lisia University.
- 51:57Speaker 3: So we gotta come back to see my guy. I
- 52:00Speaker 3: haven't heard from them, man, Arthur, what's going on? Broute yourself?
- 52:04Speaker 3: You've been unmuted?
- 52:04Speaker 2: What's up, bro? Author you did?
- 52:11Speaker 5: Yep, he did?
- 52:12Speaker 2: He did?
- 52:16Speaker 4: Can you can you hear?
- 52:18Speaker 5: Oh?
- 52:18Speaker 2: Now we can hear you? Bro?
- 52:20Speaker 5: What's good?
- 52:21Speaker 4: Yo?
- 52:21Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 52:21Speaker 2: It was good?
- 52:22Speaker 4: Fellas's good man.
- 52:24Speaker 5: My guy top earn if what's going on? Brother?
- 52:27Speaker 2: Calling? Now?
- 52:28Speaker 13: I'm on the road, so so I might I might
- 52:30Speaker 13: break up a little bit. I just had a quick
- 52:31Speaker 13: question for you. I know he said he's not he's
- 52:34Speaker 13: not a big fan of investing in the I p
- 52:36Speaker 13: O s right now, but I just want to get.
- 52:38Speaker 4: His thoughts on the rise of the direct listing.
- 52:40Speaker 13: On his thoughts on the rise of company needs using
- 52:44Speaker 13: the direct listing as their route to go public versus
- 52:47Speaker 13: using the.
- 52:48Speaker 6: I p O.
- 52:50Speaker 12: I'm I'm a big hater of that, I think, and
- 52:52Speaker 12: me and Ian hold the same sentiment. I think the
- 52:55Speaker 12: I p O routes are best route to go for
- 52:57Speaker 12: companies because it gives you an idea and it gives
- 53:00Speaker 12: them an idea of what they're up against. The direct
- 53:03Speaker 12: listing is kind of like getting in a club through
- 53:04Speaker 12: the back door. So it's like, all right, you know
- 53:07Speaker 12: what I mean, I got on some boots. I can't
- 53:09Speaker 12: get in the front. I'm gonna go around the side.
- 53:10Speaker 12: And get on the side door. I don't like that
- 53:12Speaker 12: sets up a bad president for the company, and it
- 53:14Speaker 12: doesn't give the market much information on them. So the
- 53:17Speaker 12: institutions that you want to be involved in the name
- 53:20Speaker 12: aren't necessarily going to be involved in the name. And
- 53:22Speaker 12: so you know, to kind of dump the institutions to
- 53:26Speaker 12: go right to the retail. You're you're putting yourself at
- 53:28Speaker 12: a major race, and so like you need the institutional
- 53:31Speaker 12: money to prop you up, you need the institutional funds
- 53:34Speaker 12: to keep you to keep you afloat. You cannot like
- 53:36Speaker 12: depending on retail money. I'm not a big fan of it.
- 53:38Speaker 12: I know it's worked for some firms, but long term,
- 53:42Speaker 12: you know, like when you start seeing them trade differently
- 53:44Speaker 12: and when we get into a normal market flow, I
- 53:47Speaker 12: don't know how much growth is going to be there.
- 53:49Speaker 12: When you don't you don't go to the institutional route IPOs,
- 53:52Speaker 12: I think you kind of have to go the traditional route.
- 53:54Speaker 12: And that's why you see a lot of other companies.
- 53:56Speaker 12: They're waiting longer so they have better balance sheets. Like
- 53:59Speaker 12: Snowflake is the thing where like, all right, we're gonna
- 54:02Speaker 12: be a senior in college. Like back in the day,
- 54:04Speaker 12: you would go to the league after you went to
- 54:06Speaker 12: college four years. Now you're going to the league outside
- 54:09Speaker 12: of high school, right, And then the market has been reversed.
- 54:11Speaker 12: We had a lot of companies coming to the high
- 54:12Speaker 12: school doing the Kobe Bryant, Kevin Garnett, and they weren't ready.
- 54:16Speaker 12: And now a lot more companies got hit and they've
- 54:18Speaker 12: been basically getting their bounties better to come out I PO.
- 54:22Speaker 12: And that's why you're seeing these kind of mature companies
- 54:24Speaker 12: come to the market and they're trading better. So it
- 54:27Speaker 12: raises my antenna when you don't go the regular route, Like,
- 54:30Speaker 12: what's wrong with you?
- 54:31Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying?
- 54:34Speaker 5: Yeah, you appreciate appreciate that question, Arthur Man.
- 54:37Speaker 3: Every time you come on, they give you a new name,
- 54:39Speaker 3: but they're not saying that you're the Vale Victorian author.
- 54:42Speaker 5: Arthur. How's your what's what's your what's your take on
- 54:44Speaker 5: Eyo University?
- 54:46Speaker 4: Oh?
- 54:46Speaker 13: Come on, you already know, fellas, Eyo University is the
- 54:49Speaker 13: best thing popping out there educationally as far as I'm
- 54:52Speaker 13: concerned terms, and not just not just the wealth play,
- 54:55Speaker 13: but the community building, all of that, all of that
- 54:59Speaker 13: that's incorporated with it. I think is very very key man.
- 55:02Speaker 13: So you guys know I'm a big advocate. I always
- 55:05Speaker 13: press for not only for the adults, but for their
- 55:07Speaker 13: adults to make sure that they get their kids involved.
- 55:10Speaker 13: And then everything that you guys got attached to it,
- 55:12Speaker 13: whether it's MG's are on bias, course Wall Street trappers, things,
- 55:17Speaker 13: you know what I mean. Obviously y'all miss Business one
- 55:20Speaker 13: on one with her book on there. You guys always
- 55:22Speaker 13: got good product associated with what you guys bring on.
- 55:25Speaker 13: So not only EYLU, but everything that they vouch for
- 55:29Speaker 13: is a one. So I give everybody the thumbs up
- 55:32Speaker 13: and and and please go out and support appreciate.
- 55:35Speaker 5: Let me ask you a question because you used to
- 55:36Speaker 5: be a market maker. You're a very smart guy. You've
- 55:38Speaker 5: been in finance. Like what do you think the street
- 55:41Speaker 5: value for EYO University is?
- 55:42Speaker 8: Like?
- 55:42Speaker 5: What is what's the truth? What's the true price tag
- 55:45Speaker 5: on all the IVY League educated I know Ivy League
- 55:48Speaker 5: all the stuff that we offer. What do you think
- 55:49Speaker 5: the true value is compared to like Ivy League colleges
- 55:52Speaker 5: and stuff.
- 55:53Speaker 13: I mean, listen, I'll say I'll say like this, most
- 55:56Speaker 13: of those colleges, what you're essentially buying is reputation not necessarily,
- 56:02Speaker 13: there's not so much the information that you're gonna get.
- 56:04Speaker 13: What makes Harvard so official is the alumni that have graduated.
- 56:08Speaker 13: And now if you graduate from there, you just have
- 56:11Speaker 13: a reputation attached to your name. It doesn't necessarily mean
- 56:14Speaker 13: that you're the smarter guy, you know what I mean?
- 56:17Speaker 13: I think with eylu what you're gonna definitely get And
- 56:20Speaker 13: I think this is why I say it's not just
- 56:22Speaker 13: about college. This is this is something that high school,
- 56:25Speaker 13: middle school kids should have as well, because this is
- 56:27Speaker 13: real world applicable knowledge. It doesn't matter what your career is.
- 56:32Speaker 13: It doesn't matter whether you're gonna get a job, or
- 56:34Speaker 13: whether you're going to be an entrepreneur or whether you're
- 56:36Speaker 13: a professional athlete. The things that you're gonna learn here
- 56:39Speaker 13: are real well applicable from day one, whether it's just
- 56:43Speaker 13: learning how to save, whether it's developing the mentality that
- 56:46Speaker 13: you need to run a business, or the mentality that
- 56:49Speaker 13: you need to be a trader, or the mentality that
- 56:51Speaker 13: you need simply to pay your bills on time. Like
- 56:54Speaker 13: these are all of the things that you learn that
- 56:56Speaker 13: are day one applicable. There are a lot of people
- 56:58Speaker 13: who are graduated from Harvard who have graduated you know
- 57:02Speaker 13: what I mean, not just to say the Ivys, but
- 57:04Speaker 13: graduating from state schools. Because them shits ain't cheap either,
- 57:07Speaker 13: you know what I mean. And they don't have no,
- 57:09Speaker 13: no real right now, they struggling. They can't get a job,
- 57:12Speaker 13: you know what I mean, because they don't have a
- 57:14Speaker 13: real world applicable.
- 57:18Speaker 2: What's the word.
- 57:18Speaker 4: I'm looking for? Head skill, you know what I mean.
- 57:21Speaker 13: And so eylu Is like the Generational Wealth Trade School,
- 57:25Speaker 13: you know what I mean, Like you're gonna come out
- 57:27Speaker 13: of there, Like if you're an electrician, you know you're
- 57:28Speaker 13: gonna get the work. You come out of eyl you
- 57:30Speaker 13: you ready to get the work and apply it not
- 57:32Speaker 13: only for yourself but hopefully for your family and in
- 57:35Speaker 13: your community as well. So I would say, I would
- 57:37Speaker 13: say value wise like uh, you know, like eylu Is
- 57:41Speaker 13: like the core Vette of the supercars, you know what
- 57:43Speaker 13: I mean. Like you could go like you got you
- 57:45Speaker 13: got Ferraris and all of that, but you can go
- 57:47Speaker 13: with right now you can basically get you a nice
- 57:49Speaker 13: VAT for eighty grand, two hundred miles an hour and
- 57:53Speaker 13: blow most people out the water.
- 57:54Speaker 5: I'm going with y talk to on today, talk to yet.
- 57:59Speaker 5: I like that. Talk to him as always a pleasure,
- 58:01Speaker 5: my brother. I appreciate you, Quentin, Quentin, it's been a
- 58:06Speaker 5: pleasure man. Sorry that we couldn't do longer. But he
- 58:08Speaker 5: will be back. He will be back obviously on market Monday,
- 58:11Speaker 5: but also four times if you five times five, five
- 58:15Speaker 5: times a year, five times a year, he will be
- 58:18Speaker 5: a teaching a class for Eyo University. And that Black
- 58:22Speaker 5: Friday sale is running up. It's a Lowess's Gifts right now,
- 58:25Speaker 5: fifty percent off.
- 58:25Speaker 2: That's why I told you.
- 58:26Speaker 5: Just like a stock pricet, this is the correction, fifty
- 58:28Speaker 5: percent off right now. And after Black Friday that sale
- 58:31Speaker 5: goes away. Then also the price goes up to the
- 58:33Speaker 5: reason why the price goes up is that we just
- 58:34Speaker 5: added we got a full time employee. Now not so
- 58:38Speaker 5: much of that. We're just trying to be greedy, like
- 58:40Speaker 5: we're adding value to it. We gotta you know, we got.
- 58:42Speaker 2: I just had a dope calle too. We're gonna go
- 58:44Speaker 2: We're gonna add something that's so.
- 58:46Speaker 5: We got a lot. So the link is up there
- 58:47Speaker 5: if you're interested, code Eyo fifty and we're gonna give
- 58:50Speaker 5: out these cash apps. Let's Quinn, thank you, brother, appreciate it. So,
- 58:55Speaker 5: you know, one thing about the pandemic is that it's
- 58:58Speaker 5: been tough on a lot of people. Hey, Quinn, how
- 58:59Speaker 5: can they do they want? Do you want them to
- 59:01Speaker 5: follow you?
- 59:01Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 59:02Speaker 5: Okay? What's what's your Instagram?
- 59:05Speaker 12: Mister wall Street? I forget how I spell it? I've
- 59:08Speaker 12: made it so long ago. Are your privacy?
- 59:11Speaker 4: No?
- 59:12Speaker 2: Not that way?
- 59:13Speaker 12: Cast It was like building up too much, So I apologize. Yeah, mister,
- 59:19Speaker 12: I think.
- 59:19Speaker 5: I think it's mister like m I S T E.
- 59:22Speaker 12: R R Underscore wall Street. Those spaces mister wall Street
- 59:28Speaker 12: might played in the chat. Uh and you know what

- 59:33Speaker 12: I'm here for the culture. We got questions I can
- 59:34Speaker 12: help out. I'm always here to answer questions and just
- 59:37Speaker 12: kind of be a staple and answer the conversation.
- 59:40Speaker 2: Oh shout out his business. You just put you your
- 59:41Speaker 2: journey there, all right.
- 59:44Speaker 5: Mister mister Underscore wall St not Street stall s T.
- 59:50Speaker 4: Appreciate you, brother, Love and a blessed Holliday everybody.
- 59:53Speaker 2: Man, absolutely, my brother.
- 59:55Speaker 5: Yeah, you know, it's been it's been a it's been
- 59:57Speaker 5: a tough year. For people were just a and Dykeman.
- 1:00:00Speaker 5: We gave ten thousand dollars TV trip to Disneyland, all
- 1:00:05Speaker 5: of that four hundred turkeys. But you know, we got
- 1:00:08Speaker 5: we got a community worldwide, so we figured, you know,
- 1:00:11Speaker 5: last minute thing. I hit Troy, I'm like, how you
- 1:00:12Speaker 5: feel about this? He's like, yeah, why not. We're gonna
- 1:00:15Speaker 5: do two thousand dollars. We're gonna do the first thousand
- 1:00:17Speaker 5: now and then we'll do the first thousand at the end.
- 1:00:19Speaker 5: Put it. We're gonna through five hundred to zoom, five
- 1:00:24Speaker 5: hundred to our YouTube. We're just gonna pick random people,
- 1:00:28Speaker 5: so please do not get upset if you don't get picked.
- 1:00:32Speaker 5: And then we're going to tell you when it's over,
- 1:00:33Speaker 5: so you can stop putting your cash aff in. I'm
- 1:00:35Speaker 5: just gonna take a few screenshots.
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I got, I got, I know what to put
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: on the job.
- 1:00:41Speaker 5: Can we get the zoom?
- 1:00:42Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 1:00:44Speaker 5: You know, hopefully this could this could you know, lighten
- 1:00:47Speaker 5: the burden a little bit over the holiday season. We
- 1:00:51Speaker 5: know it's a lot of people that you know, might
- 1:00:54Speaker 5: be struggling. It's hard times out there for all of
- 1:00:57Speaker 5: us right now, whether it's financially or whether it's just adically,
- 1:01:00Speaker 5: whether it's just mentally trying to cope. So anything that
- 1:01:03Speaker 5: we can do to try to lighten the burden a
- 1:01:05Speaker 5: little bit. You know, it's love and love man, your leash.
- 1:01:08Speaker 5: It's nothing like you're often often duplicated. That's a fact.
- 1:01:13Speaker 5: We talk about that later on Big Trap.
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: So so separately. You know, he is he there, Yeah,
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: he's he's a.
- 1:01:21Speaker 5: I need bro. You gotta cut your mic on your
- 1:01:24Speaker 5: in your camera.
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: On a big track, going live on the Trap, live
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: from the track.
- 1:01:32Speaker 5: Man, it's cool with you.
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: Man.
- 1:01:34Speaker 4: Listen, man, long day man. Listen. Man.
- 1:01:38Speaker 14: I it's been a lot man, catching planes, almost missing planes,
- 1:01:42Speaker 14: having to put my foot in the door to make
- 1:01:44Speaker 14: sure I get on the plane, all kind of stuff.
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: Man. Yeah, but it is what it is.
- 1:01:48Speaker 4: It's all love.
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: You feel me. I heard you.
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: I heard they they putting you in the running for
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: an oscar. Man, That's what I'm hearing out here.
- 1:01:55Speaker 4: Listen, Man, I felt like Denzel on training.
- 1:02:01Speaker 5: That's a fact. Man. It is all right, guys, you
- 1:02:03Speaker 5: can officially stop with the cash apps.
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: Yeah we got five.
- 1:02:06Speaker 5: We have five. We're gonna do it again at the end,
- 1:02:09Speaker 5: so you can.
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: Officially look at that. It slowed down.
- 1:02:12Speaker 5: You can officially, you can officially stop your cash apps.
- 1:02:16Speaker 5: We have five and then we go and do another five.
- 1:02:19Speaker 5: At the end, Catherine, I see you. I see what
- 1:02:21Speaker 5: you're saying. You gotta go to the seven. This episode
- 1:02:25Speaker 5: is brought to you by P and C Bank. A
- 1:02:27Speaker 5: lot of people think podcasts about work are boring, and
- 1:02:30Speaker 5: sure they definitely can be, but understanding a professionals routine
- 1:02:34Speaker 5: shows us how they achieve their success little by little,
- 1:02:37Speaker 5: day after day.
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: It's like banking with P and C Bank.
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: It might seem boring to save, plan and make calculated

- 1:05:31Speaker 5: trap Trapp. Trapp called me. Everybody knows I have high
- 1:05:35Speaker 5: levels of anxiety. And he called me like, yo, I'm
- 1:05:38Speaker 5: landing in half an hour and be late.
- 1:05:41Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: You should have just text me, bro.
- 1:05:44Speaker 5: I'm like, what you know?
- 1:05:47Speaker 14: I know he's the one thats gonna be tripping. Yeah,
- 1:05:49Speaker 14: he didn't gonna go through all kind of emotions.
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: Oh my god, he's like, yo, we got I was
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: sitting with him like, oh my gosh. I'm like, nah,
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: we good, We're good.
- 1:05:57Speaker 9: Oh man.
- 1:05:57Speaker 5: I had my sister trying to get my son a
- 1:05:59Speaker 5: PSI right now, and I had I had her waiting
- 1:06:03Speaker 5: on the computer at nine o'clock and it sold out
- 1:06:05Speaker 5: in ten seconds.
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: Oh yeah, we know that the you can't you can't
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: compute a b.
- 1:06:08Speaker 5: If anybody got PS five, hit me up.
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: What can you do? Retail? Retail?
- 1:06:13Speaker 5: Retail, retail, Please do not take advantage of me. I've
- 1:06:17Speaker 5: fed the culture for a long time. Sclaimer, don't abuse me.
- 1:06:21Speaker 5: That's to do disclaimer for a long time. And then
- 1:06:25Speaker 5: I need a this is this is a public service announcement.
- 1:06:28Speaker 5: I need a PS five for my son's birthday. If
- 1:06:30Speaker 5: anybody wants to be a good semary, I'm gonna pay
- 1:06:32Speaker 5: for it. I just want to pay retail price.
- 1:06:34Speaker 4: You needs to the city, and I don't put my
- 1:06:36Speaker 4: trap word down there.
- 1:06:37Speaker 5: Come on, come on, gosh, look out look out for me,
- 1:06:40Speaker 5: Come through for me. Please look out for me.
- 1:06:42Speaker 4: Man, say this right quick before we go.
- 1:06:46Speaker 14: Bro, we gotta let another two hundred people get the
- 1:06:48Speaker 14: seventy percent off, bro Number two.
- 1:06:52Speaker 4: Yeah, because because.
- 1:06:53Speaker 14: I was on a flight, I wasn't able to like
- 1:06:55Speaker 14: get people, and they like I couldn't get it, and
- 1:06:58Speaker 14: I'm like, all, so we gotta let another two hundred
- 1:07:04Speaker 14: people get the seventeen percent off. It's my fault, you
- 1:07:06Speaker 14: know what I'm saying. I wasn't able to, you know,
- 1:07:09Speaker 14: handle my business on my end, so we gotta let
- 1:07:12Speaker 14: another two hundred people get seven percent off.
- 1:07:16Speaker 5: Whatever whatever, trap whatever the boss says, Hey, Mike him right,
- 1:07:21Speaker 5: get the fly already.
- 1:07:25Speaker 14: I just gotta use you know, it's fast fail, man,
- 1:07:27Speaker 14: you know what I'm saying. I know it was something
- 1:07:30Speaker 14: I know that was gonna be it, man. And then
- 1:07:33Speaker 14: a couple of people who I know, like some of
- 1:07:35Speaker 14: my trapers got it. But I've been moving around so
- 1:07:38Speaker 14: much today and when my one of my HU tenants
- 1:07:41Speaker 14: was like, broh this thing I fought in two modules.
- 1:07:44Speaker 4: Nah, this is crazy. He was going through it. He
- 1:07:46Speaker 4: was like, nah, this he literally and you know I
- 1:07:48Speaker 4: told you all that. I was like, bro, this this
- 1:07:50Speaker 4: probably was like some of the.
- 1:07:51Speaker 14: Best work because you know, we went into it with
- 1:07:53Speaker 14: different a different type of motivation, a different type of intention.
- 1:07:56Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying.
- 1:07:57Speaker 14: We were into it like yo, like this would like bro,
- 1:08:00Speaker 14: the coach needs something different, you know what I'm saying,
- 1:08:03Speaker 14: The coaching and we the ones gott to give it.
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: And so.
- 1:08:06Speaker 14: Just doing that, man, I felt like so many people
- 1:08:09Speaker 14: was like trapped. Man, it was up with the two hundred,
- 1:08:11Speaker 14: and I know we hit the two hundred. I feel
- 1:08:12Speaker 14: like it wasn't felt because I let y'all people get
- 1:08:14Speaker 14: it and my people wasn't able to get it.
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: I told you, I tell you what come of these earners.
- 1:08:18Speaker 14: Man, They ain't playing with crazy that I wasn't able
- 1:08:22Speaker 14: to get them because you know, I like to do
- 1:08:24Speaker 14: hand in hand, So I like to send people to
- 1:08:27Speaker 14: my DM so I can like give it to you know,
- 1:08:29Speaker 14: I'm old.
- 1:08:29Speaker 4: I'm like, I'm like that man. You know what I'm saying.
- 1:08:31Speaker 4: I'm like that I need hand in hand.
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: I need I.
- 1:08:36Speaker 14: Need that me my feeling again, So it's my fault, man.
- 1:08:40Speaker 14: So we got to give another another two hundred people
- 1:08:42Speaker 14: access to that.
- 1:08:43Speaker 5: Bro all right, So there girls opened up another two hundred.
- 1:08:47Speaker 5: I was actually about to announce that it was sold out.
- 1:08:50Speaker 5: He's about to do you learn something everything, change the
- 1:08:57Speaker 5: script changes every second. I was about to say fifty
- 1:09:00Speaker 5: percent because of seventy five percent was going, but I
- 1:09:03Speaker 5: guess it's not going. So another two hundred first comfort,
- 1:09:07Speaker 5: change the.
- 1:09:08Speaker 4: Script, change the flyp you know what I mean.
- 1:09:14Speaker 5: To Night's full of to Night's full of surprises. You
- 1:09:17Speaker 5: never know, you never know what's gonna happen. All right, Well,
- 1:09:20Speaker 5: another two hundred people for the Blue Magic the Family Pack,
- 1:09:25Speaker 5: And that's Traps Production featuring us. And it's really like
- 1:09:30Speaker 5: a guide to generational wealth, how to make it a million.
- 1:09:33Speaker 5: And I always tell people it's not a stock it's
- 1:09:35Speaker 5: not a stock course. It's not it's to sit down,
- 1:09:38Speaker 5: hold your hand, walk you through it. Like this is
- 1:09:40Speaker 5: a revocable trust. This is how you open it. This
- 1:09:43Speaker 5: is precious metals. This is how you look at this.
- 1:09:45Speaker 5: This is how you evaluate mutual funds, how you evaluate
- 1:09:50Speaker 5: index funds, This is how you evaluate a life insurance.
- 1:09:52Speaker 5: Like it was cool for me because as an advisor,
- 1:09:54Speaker 5: I have access to stuff that other people don't have
- 1:09:56Speaker 5: access to. So it's like the first time I actually
- 1:09:59Speaker 5: got to sit down and like show people like this
- 1:10:01Speaker 5: is an illustration. This is how you properly do it.
- 1:10:04Speaker 5: You put more money in here, you do this, you
- 1:10:06Speaker 5: move this around, and it's like a manual. It's more
- 1:10:09Speaker 5: of a manual than anything. And it was just we
- 1:10:11Speaker 5: did the podcast. The podcast is legendary, but I realized
- 1:10:14Speaker 5: with these things, there's only so much information you can
- 1:10:16Speaker 5: put in the podcast. It's like it's impossible. We have
- 1:10:18Speaker 5: to do like ten podcasts and like sit down and
- 1:10:20Speaker 5: have a share screen. So that's what Blue Magic is.
- 1:10:24Speaker 5: The wealth the wealth pack, family pack and yeah out
- 1:10:28Speaker 5: and now what they got to do? Email, text you
- 1:10:31Speaker 5: or I mean, what's.
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: The word tonight? What they putting? What they're putting in
- 1:10:33Speaker 2: your DM tonight? What's the word.
- 1:10:36Speaker 4: Plugging?
- 1:10:39Speaker 5: Plugged? Clug Trap. It's also on our website and in
- 1:10:44Speaker 5: the bio of this video. But Trap, let me ask
- 1:10:46Speaker 5: you a question that I didn't get to ask you
- 1:10:48Speaker 5: on a podcast. Talk about take it down a business? Right?
- 1:10:52Speaker 5: I know you just dropped the e book and you
- 1:10:53Speaker 5: talked about that as far as like your strategy of
- 1:10:56Speaker 5: breaking down businesses, and I got said I had that
- 1:10:59Speaker 5: listed on a podcast, but I didn't get a chance
- 1:11:01Speaker 5: to actually on the podcast. So can you talk about
- 1:11:04Speaker 5: that as far as like breaking down a business.
- 1:11:06Speaker 14: So it's a few like so every investor is gonna
- 1:11:09Speaker 14: every investor gonna have like certain things they look for
- 1:11:13Speaker 14: when they breaking down. A business man shouts of my
- 1:11:15Speaker 14: great aunt with these the floor rings. Bro, that's how
- 1:11:21Speaker 14: quickly I didn't even go to the hotel or nothing.
- 1:11:23Speaker 5: Just can't.
- 1:11:23Speaker 4: I'm looking like a pink flowers is.
- 1:11:25Speaker 5: Going looks like a very southern house household.
- 1:11:29Speaker 4: You don't get this in the mother son, you feel me.
- 1:11:35Speaker 3: At all, or you can't you can't bump that, you
- 1:11:38Speaker 3: can't bump that.
- 1:11:39Speaker 5: Show you need or you needed the plastic on the
- 1:11:41Speaker 5: couch new and so.
- 1:11:43Speaker 4: We took the plastic up.
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: Big time.
- 1:11:46Speaker 5: I feel that.
- 1:11:47Speaker 3: Uh.
- 1:11:48Speaker 4: But basically so everybody has everybody has.
- 1:11:53Speaker 14: Different different things that they look for when they investing
- 1:11:58Speaker 14: looking for a business of breaking down the business. So
- 1:12:00Speaker 14: for me, I go I go through multiple angles. Like
- 1:12:03Speaker 14: we talked about molts on the podcast. So one of
- 1:12:05Speaker 14: the things for me is that's especially that's first and foremost.
- 1:12:09Speaker 14: I gotta see that. But inside of the ebook, I
- 1:12:12Speaker 14: broke down how to trap during the drought. And the
- 1:12:16Speaker 14: reason why I did that was because during these times,
- 1:12:19Speaker 14: you see a lot of businesses really go out of business.
- 1:12:21Speaker 14: You see a lot of business suspending they dividends. You
- 1:12:24Speaker 14: see a lot of businesses cutting they dividends. You see
- 1:12:28Speaker 14: a lot of things happening right here, right. And so
- 1:12:30Speaker 14: one of the things I was like, okay, like how
- 1:12:32Speaker 14: do I give people some things to look for, like
- 1:12:34Speaker 14: exactly to know if just a good business of this
- 1:12:36Speaker 14: a business they should be in. And so one of
- 1:12:39Speaker 14: the things was operational costs or operational cash flow. But
- 1:12:44Speaker 14: also there's this acronym called i CR right, and the
- 1:12:51Speaker 14: just how can a business? It was how can a
- 1:12:54Speaker 14: business payoff? It's make payments on its debt?
- 1:12:58Speaker 5: Right?
- 1:12:59Speaker 14: How can business is make payments on this debt? So
- 1:13:02Speaker 14: most in the financial a lot of business is going
- 1:13:04Speaker 14: to have debt. Now we know that I love businesses
- 1:13:06Speaker 14: that have no debt. That's like my goal to like,
- 1:13:09Speaker 14: if you don't got to no debt, It's something I'm
- 1:13:11Speaker 14: really going in for, right, because a business that doesn't
- 1:13:14Speaker 14: have debt is a business that can't go bankrupt, you
- 1:13:17Speaker 14: feel what I'm saying. And so that's a safety measure.
- 1:13:20Speaker 14: But we all know that businesses us that has leveraged
- 1:13:23Speaker 14: a lot of times. So one of the things we
- 1:13:25Speaker 14: want to do is make sure that the business can
- 1:13:27Speaker 14: pay its debt payments. Right, even if it can't pay
- 1:13:29Speaker 14: the debt down, it can pay the debt payments.
- 1:13:31Speaker 2: And so how do we do that.
- 1:13:33Speaker 14: We look at what's called interest payment ratio interest coverage
- 1:13:37Speaker 14: ratio I see R like And what we do is
- 1:13:40Speaker 14: we look at the company's operational cash flow, right, and
- 1:13:43Speaker 14: if the operational cash flow can pay at least the
- 1:13:46Speaker 14: payments the debt payments, then it's.
- 1:13:48Speaker 4: A go ahead for us.
- 1:13:50Speaker 14: So for me, I'm looking at how much debt the
- 1:13:52Speaker 14: business has and if the debt, if the debt.
- 1:13:55Speaker 4: Is paid covered by the operational cash flow.
- 1:13:58Speaker 14: You know what I'm saying. The debt is about those payments.
- 1:14:00Speaker 14: So the money that's coming in, right, the money that's
- 1:14:03Speaker 14: coming in, can they take a portion of that money
- 1:14:05Speaker 14: and pay the debt and still be functional. If they
- 1:14:08Speaker 14: can still do that, then I'm good. So that that's
- 1:14:11Speaker 14: one of the important things for me. When I'm looking
- 1:14:13Speaker 14: at a business that does have debt, can they make
- 1:14:15Speaker 14: those payments? And then the next thing I need to
- 1:14:18Speaker 14: know is how long is it going to take for
- 1:14:20Speaker 14: them to.
- 1:14:21Speaker 4: Pay that debt off.
- 1:14:22Speaker 14: That's another important thing for me is because I need
- 1:14:25Speaker 14: to see if you can pay that debt off.
- 1:14:27Speaker 4: Within three years five years max. With three years is
- 1:14:30Speaker 4: a good time for me.
- 1:14:31Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:14:32Speaker 14: That mean management doing a great job at using debt
- 1:14:34Speaker 14: to leverage the debt, but also not taking too much
- 1:14:37Speaker 14: of the debt into play, you know what I'm saying,
- 1:14:39Speaker 14: not over leveraging themselves, right, because we're gonna use that
- 1:14:42Speaker 14: to leverage.
- 1:14:43Speaker 4: And then now we can use.
- 1:14:45Speaker 14: Debt as return on invested return on equity, which means
- 1:14:49Speaker 14: management now is using shareholder equity to build the business
- 1:14:53Speaker 14: but also give us great returns on our money. So
- 1:14:55Speaker 14: those are two great metrics metrics that I go in
- 1:14:58Speaker 14: on when I'm looking at a busines because that shows
- 1:15:01Speaker 14: me one management can you know it's all It's like,
- 1:15:04Speaker 14: even we use that, you know, we get us a
- 1:15:06Speaker 14: real estate. Sometimes they'll say it's good to use other
- 1:15:08Speaker 14: people money, So I don't have a problem with that,
- 1:15:10Speaker 14: but not even can you make those payments? And if
- 1:15:13Speaker 14: you're going to use that or if you're going to
- 1:15:15Speaker 14: use my capital to make other investments, can you give
- 1:15:17Speaker 14: me a good return on my investment?
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: Yo.
- 1:15:20Speaker 3: Trap One of the things that that you love to
- 1:15:23Speaker 3: do when investment is a dividend play. And while you
- 1:15:27Speaker 3: was taping it, I was like, Yo, he just spent
- 1:15:29Speaker 3: a whole bar in my head.
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: I don't want to say it out loud. I don't
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: want to mess you up.
- 1:15:32Speaker 3: And I'm like, yo, you talked about drip, and like
- 1:15:36Speaker 3: in our culture, we know drip is getting fly, but
- 1:15:38Speaker 3: when it comes to dividends, it's a whole different play.
- 1:15:40Speaker 3: And I'm wondering, like, I think if we get this
- 1:15:42Speaker 3: out there, it's going to change the game. Right, If
- 1:15:44Speaker 3: we're talking about drip, can you explain what that is?
- 1:15:45Speaker 5: To say that drip is that Eyo University drip. We
- 1:15:48Speaker 5: got that too, sweatsuit trip, your dig trap tire.
- 1:15:56Speaker 3: Is required drip trip, that family packed the real drip,
- 1:16:00Speaker 3: the only drip I know.
- 1:16:01Speaker 14: It's the only drip. So this is called dividend Reinvestment plan.
- 1:16:06Speaker 14: And every Friday and travels Anonymous we do this. We
- 1:16:09Speaker 14: do is we take one company and it's called drip
- 1:16:12Speaker 14: literally d r ip. And what we do is we
- 1:16:16Speaker 14: break down a company that has been dripping for a
- 1:16:19Speaker 14: long time. You know what I'm saying, The company that
- 1:16:23Speaker 14: that's been dripping and that doesn't mind that we don't
- 1:16:26Speaker 14: mind letting drip for us over the long term.
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:16:29Speaker 14: So what we wanna do is drip is dividend reinvestment plan.
- 1:16:33Speaker 14: And the dull part about that is this, right, So
- 1:16:35Speaker 14: a lot of times people like y'all won't get the dividends,
- 1:16:37Speaker 14: I won't get the dividends, right, So you get the
- 1:16:39Speaker 14: dividends unless you be real, you're going to need, you know,
- 1:16:43Speaker 14: a nice amount of dividends to really take. Like Warren Buffett,
- 1:16:46Speaker 14: I think last last quarter he got I think sixty
- 1:16:49Speaker 14: eight million dollars in dividends.
- 1:16:50Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying, like, don't let that go.
- 1:16:52Speaker 14: Yeah, right, So one of the things we can do
- 1:16:55Speaker 14: with dividend reinvestment is we can use the money from
- 1:16:58Speaker 14: the business, right, the dividends from the business to buy
- 1:17:01Speaker 14: us most shares of the business. You feel something to
- 1:17:04Speaker 14: say that? Again, we can use the money from the
- 1:17:06Speaker 14: business from dividends to buy us most shares of the business.
- 1:17:09Speaker 4: So how do we do that?
- 1:17:10Speaker 14: Okay, So we figure out how much dividend is that
- 1:17:13Speaker 14: this company is paying every month every if they're paying
- 1:17:16Speaker 14: every month of every quarter, we find out how many
- 1:17:18Speaker 14: dividends what they're paying us. So they're paying us fifty
- 1:17:21Speaker 14: cent a quarter, then that means they're paying us two
- 1:17:23Speaker 14: dollars a year.
- 1:17:24Speaker 4: Right, so they're paying us two dollars a year.
- 1:17:26Speaker 14: Then we ask ourselves how many shares of the business
- 1:17:28Speaker 14: do we need for the business to buy us one
- 1:17:31Speaker 14: share of itself? And then we break that down, how
- 1:17:33Speaker 14: many shares of the business do I need for the
- 1:17:35Speaker 14: business to buy me two shares of itself? And that's
- 1:17:38Speaker 14: one of the things. That's one of the things I
- 1:17:41Speaker 14: enjoyed doing. Like when I look for a business, the
- 1:17:43Speaker 14: first thing I'm gonna ask myself, once I did on
- 1:17:45Speaker 14: my homework, if they do pay a dividend, how many
- 1:17:47Speaker 14: shares of the business do I need for it to
- 1:17:49Speaker 14: start buying me two, three, four shares of itself? Because
- 1:17:52Speaker 14: now I don't got to use that I don't got
- 1:17:53Speaker 14: to keep on adding to that position. I could just
- 1:17:56Speaker 14: let that business just keep dripping for me over time,
- 1:17:59Speaker 14: and then once you get get older, and once you
- 1:18:01Speaker 14: get remember well it is a long term game. Right,
- 1:18:03Speaker 14: So now I ask myself, Okay, well I'm twenty thirty
- 1:18:06Speaker 14: forty is old. I may don't need that money. I
- 1:18:07Speaker 14: can just plug it in when you get fifty and sixty.
- 1:18:10Speaker 4: You may say, you know what, I want this to
- 1:18:12Speaker 4: be another streaming income for me. Boom.
- 1:18:13Speaker 14: Now you don't got to let it drip, no move.
- 1:18:15Speaker 14: Now you can actually use that money to be a
- 1:18:19Speaker 14: source of income. So you use the company as itself. Right,
- 1:18:21Speaker 14: You let the company pimp the company. You let the
- 1:18:23Speaker 14: company buy more shares of itself for you, and then
- 1:18:26Speaker 14: when you finish with the buy more shares of itself
- 1:18:28Speaker 14: for you.
- 1:18:28Speaker 4: You let the company just drip out cash flow to
- 1:18:30Speaker 4: you and now becomes cans flow.
- 1:18:33Speaker 5: Real drip best best in the business man trapper trapper
- 1:18:38Speaker 5: talking that talk, man trapper talking at talk. Can we
- 1:18:43Speaker 5: get some questions?
- 1:18:44Speaker 2: Yeah, let's go to Michael. Michael, we're coming to you.
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: I'm mute yourself, you've been unmuted.
- 1:18:51Speaker 4: What's going on?
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: Fellas? Everything great?
- 1:18:54Speaker 5: How you? How you?
- 1:18:55Speaker 4: I'm cool and cooling?
- 1:18:56Speaker 15: Hey, listen, I wanted to ask, as far as you're
- 1:18:58Speaker 15: broken with your cant with it, be better than to
- 1:19:00Speaker 15: be put under the LLC. As far as you know,
- 1:19:06Speaker 15: when y'all talk about keeping things out of your.
- 1:19:07Speaker 5: Name trap, you want to talk about that, well.
- 1:19:12Speaker 4: I never did it. In the LLC.
- 1:19:14Speaker 14: Is always my name you know what I'm saying. But
- 1:19:17Speaker 14: what I am about to do is I'm about to
- 1:19:19Speaker 14: put all of my stuff again. So I had to
- 1:19:21Speaker 14: trust and stuff set up. So I'm about to try
- 1:19:23Speaker 14: to navigate all that under there. But you know what
- 1:19:27Speaker 14: I mean, I guess it's up to you whish. I'll
- 1:19:28Speaker 14: probably tell you that because your financial advisor, you know
- 1:19:30Speaker 14: what I'm saying, he can take you to glory.
- 1:19:31Speaker 4: I could get take you to the trap house. Man.
- 1:19:37Speaker 4: A lot of that, a lot of I'll never sho
- 1:19:41Speaker 4: cover out.
- 1:19:41Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't think necessarily that the LLC really makes
- 1:19:44Speaker 5: that much of a difference as far as because the
- 1:19:46Speaker 5: LLC is passful. You got to go through your personal
- 1:19:49Speaker 5: taxes anyway, unless you're going to put in the trust.
- 1:19:52Speaker 5: And that's something that we talked about on the on
- 1:19:54Speaker 5: the on the wealth pack as well family pack as
- 1:19:58Speaker 5: well as trust. So sometimes depending on like if you
- 1:20:01Speaker 5: have a state tax issues, like we talked about that
- 1:20:04Speaker 5: with the air Vocable Life Insurance Trust and then we
- 1:20:06Speaker 5: talked about the Dynasty Trust also where you know that's
- 1:20:09Speaker 5: how you Yeah, that was that was crazy chat. Put
- 1:20:13Speaker 5: me onto that and you can take the assets out
- 1:20:16Speaker 5: of your your state and you know a lot of
- 1:20:19Speaker 5: times people do that because like very wealthy people, when
- 1:20:21Speaker 5: you have too much money, then you have state tax
- 1:20:24Speaker 5: issues and things of that nature. And you know, people
- 1:20:27Speaker 5: don't even realize that there's actually in the state tax
- 1:20:30Speaker 5: because like we used to just like capital gains tax
- 1:20:32Speaker 5: and personal income tax, but it is in the state tax.
- 1:20:35Speaker 5: So like very wealthy people, you have to pay in
- 1:20:37Speaker 5: the state tax like when you got and this is why,
- 1:20:40Speaker 5: like if they don't plan properly, like you see like
- 1:20:42Speaker 5: a lot of musicians and stuff like that, where like
- 1:20:44Speaker 5: there's state they have a state sales.
- 1:20:45Speaker 2: Yeah we saw, we saw. Uh friends didn't have read
- 1:20:48Speaker 2: the Franklin a bunch of people.
- 1:20:50Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, they're state go ahead, Jimi Hendrix. There's a
- 1:20:55Speaker 5: long list of entertainers that didn't have wills and didn't
- 1:20:57Speaker 5: have life insurance, didn't have trust set up up, and
- 1:21:01Speaker 5: now they have to have a state tax sales. Elvis Presley,
- 1:21:04Speaker 5: so they sell like their memorabilia, their their guitars really
- 1:21:07Speaker 5: cheap because they owe the government of state tax. So
- 1:21:11Speaker 5: planning is to take the money out of your personal
- 1:21:15Speaker 5: and put it in the trust. And the trust is
- 1:21:18Speaker 5: like an outside entity. It's like its own separate person trust,
- 1:21:22Speaker 5: so big trust. So when you die, the trust can
- 1:21:26Speaker 5: pay the beneficiaries your air, like so the money can
- 1:21:28Speaker 5: come or you can actually receive money from the trust,
- 1:21:31Speaker 5: but it's taken out of your own personal So at
- 1:21:34Speaker 5: a certain point you want to take as much money
- 1:21:36Speaker 5: out as your own out of your own personal as possible.
- 1:21:38Speaker 5: So this is why people do, like we've talked about
- 1:21:40Speaker 5: it yesterday on trapping to this a little bit charitable
- 1:21:43Speaker 5: Remainder trust where it's like you can put money in
- 1:21:46Speaker 5: and you lower your taxable income and the money goes
- 1:21:48Speaker 5: to charity. So I mean, there's so many different levels
- 1:21:51Speaker 5: to it. That's why I said, like this is it's
- 1:21:54Speaker 5: like we can give stocks all day. We give stocks
- 1:21:56Speaker 5: every Monday on market Mondays we give stocks trapping to
- 1:21:59Speaker 5: like none saying it's like that's that's literally the easiest
- 1:22:02Speaker 5: thing to do. And we already said how you can
- 1:22:04Speaker 5: get stocks, like you could just go to ETF look
- 1:22:07Speaker 5: at the top performing stocks in the ETF and that's
- 1:22:09Speaker 5: a good start list right there. Like to give stocks,
- 1:22:11Speaker 5: it's not really too You're not an oracle if you
- 1:22:13Speaker 5: can just give somebody stocks, It's not easy. That's easy
- 1:22:16Speaker 5: to do. How you breaking it down? Like, are you
- 1:22:18Speaker 5: showing them like how to actually protect the wealth. Are
- 1:22:21Speaker 5: you showing them agriculture plays? Are you showing them family
- 1:22:24Speaker 5: plays are agriculture? Like you know what I'm saying, like
- 1:22:27Speaker 5: this is now I'm just I'm just being honest. I'm
- 1:22:31Speaker 5: really being honest. It's real talk. It's real talk. So
- 1:22:34Speaker 5: you know, that's That's one of the things that we
- 1:22:36Speaker 5: did with the with the family pat is just broke
- 1:22:39Speaker 5: all of that stuff down because it's it's levels to it.
- 1:22:41Speaker 5: And if you were on the first level and you
- 1:22:43Speaker 5: don't want to do it, that's cool. You can just
- 1:22:44Speaker 5: tap into YouTube, tap into the podcast, and then just
- 1:22:47Speaker 5: watch Instagram. But it's just you know, sometimes in life
- 1:22:49Speaker 5: you just want to high a level. It's like if
- 1:22:51Speaker 5: you go to college, you know what I mean, like
- 1:22:52Speaker 5: you want it. You might just want to go to
- 1:22:53Speaker 5: college for a higher level education. And that's pretty much
- 1:22:57Speaker 5: what it is.
- 1:22:57Speaker 6: Like.
- 1:22:57Speaker 5: Institutions is this, this been institutions around for years. It's
- 1:23:02Speaker 5: nothing new. Harvard, the white he's ever discredited Harvard. I've
- 1:23:06Speaker 5: never seen anybody discredit Yale. You can't. You can't discredit
- 1:23:09Speaker 5: the black entrepreneur on Instagram. Don't discredit Wall Street trapper
- 1:23:14Speaker 5: because he has a court for a couple hundred dollars.
- 1:23:16Speaker 5: If you if you discredit Wall Street trapper because he
- 1:23:18Speaker 5: got a course for a couple hundred dollars, you got
- 1:23:20Speaker 5: you gotta tell every parent in America not to send
- 1:23:23Speaker 5: their kids to college. That's a very error. That's a
- 1:23:26Speaker 5: very irresponsible thing to do. That's a very irresponsible thing
- 1:23:29Speaker 5: to do. Whether you whether you think college is right
- 1:23:31Speaker 5: or wrong. If you tell every single parent in America
- 1:23:33Speaker 5: not to send your kids to college, that's a very
- 1:23:35Speaker 5: irresponsible thing to do. So you you you fine with
- 1:23:38Speaker 5: Harvard charging fifty thousand dollars a year, but you you
- 1:23:41Speaker 5: have a problem with the black entrepreneur who did ten
- 1:23:44Speaker 5: years in jail, who worked his way up from the
- 1:23:47Speaker 5: from the crane, to charge five hundred dollars because they
- 1:23:52Speaker 5: never a lot of them never did that. A lot
- 1:23:54Speaker 5: of them never never did that. Their their life is different.
- 1:23:57Speaker 5: He lost ten years, he could charge whatever he want,
- 1:23:59Speaker 5: nobody making people pay for it. So if you gotta,
- 1:24:02Speaker 5: if you got a problem with the black entrepreneur, say
- 1:24:05Speaker 5: the same thing about Harvard, the same thing about Stanford,
- 1:24:09Speaker 5: the same thing about nyu.
- 1:24:12Speaker 2: This is a message from earlier a Lisia.
- 1:24:13Speaker 4: But you know what else was shot too?
- 1:24:16Speaker 12: Oh I can't even though you were still there, brot
- 1:24:19Speaker 12: you bro, ninety eight percent of the people who get
- 1:24:22Speaker 12: stuff for free.
- 1:24:23Speaker 4: Don't even do nothing with it.
- 1:24:25Speaker 2: Facts, big fact.
- 1:24:27Speaker 15: Those people who gotta come out of pocket or work
- 1:24:30Speaker 15: to really get whatever it is, they the ones.
- 1:24:32Speaker 4: That do something with it.
- 1:24:34Speaker 5: Facts.
- 1:24:36Speaker 2: We appreciate you, bro.
- 1:24:37Speaker 5: All right, thanks a lot.
- 1:24:40Speaker 2: Yeah, And I think that's one of the beauty, beautiful
- 1:24:41Speaker 2: things about what we're doing.
- 1:24:42Speaker 3: Man, like watching this and recording this and just listening
- 1:24:46Speaker 3: to the amount of information. Man, it was like, yo, damn,
- 1:24:48Speaker 3: I need to apply some of these things. And I
- 1:24:50Speaker 3: think what people really enjoy is watching us do these
- 1:24:52Speaker 3: things in real time. So like when we setting up
- 1:24:54Speaker 3: a sodio account, we really setting up a sodio account
- 1:24:56Speaker 3: right when we open it up. We're using mutual funds
- 1:24:59Speaker 3: of like we're really doing these things, and like we're
- 1:25:02Speaker 3: telling people because like we're learning it, and you know
- 1:25:04Speaker 3: how we do this.
- 1:25:05Speaker 2: Once we learn something, we teach it. That's our obligation.
- 1:25:08Speaker 5: What what what what jay Z say said? Joe nice
- 1:25:11Speaker 5: worth billions? You still brought those kicks. Spotify's not chilling.
- 1:25:14Speaker 5: You ain't safe. The only one they hating on look
- 1:25:17Speaker 5: the same as you. Juicy got something splaining the dude.
- 1:25:19Speaker 2: The only ones they hating on is the same ones
- 1:25:22Speaker 2: that looked like you.
- 1:25:23Speaker 5: They hated on it looked the same as you. Nipsey
- 1:25:25Speaker 5: Hustle sold this mixtape for one hundred, four hundred dollars.
- 1:25:28Speaker 5: Talk to him in peace. A lot of these people
- 1:25:32Speaker 5: in a lot of these people never they never, they
- 1:25:34Speaker 5: never did that. They never, they never had to go
- 1:25:35Speaker 5: through the struggle. Wall Street. Trapper was on five hundred
- 1:25:39Speaker 5: feet in the air, big trapping. You're kidding me, You're
- 1:25:42Speaker 5: gonna You're gonna try to criticize somebody for selling something
- 1:25:45Speaker 5: that he had to literally stay in and sit down
- 1:25:48Speaker 5: for fourteen hours to build that education.
- 1:25:50Speaker 3: Fall asleep with the books on his chest, Wake up
- 1:25:52Speaker 3: with the books on his chest. I'm gonna talk to
- 1:25:54Speaker 3: him trap. Y'all got life, man, I'm gonna talk to
- 1:25:56Speaker 3: him for you. They got life mixed up.
- 1:25:57Speaker 2: Woke up with the book on his chest to sleep. Now.
- 1:26:00Speaker 2: We gotta stay with this book now.
- 1:26:02Speaker 5: But Sherry, sorry for my red, sorry for my read
- 1:26:07Speaker 5: I appreciate a lot of it's a lot of it's
- 1:26:10Speaker 5: a lot of hatred going on that I'm seeing. And
- 1:26:13Speaker 5: you know, Troy, he's more, he's more, he's more level headed.
- 1:26:23Speaker 2: We want Jesus pick him up.
- 1:26:29Speaker 14: You know, I appreciate that, man, You know what I'm saying,
- 1:26:31Speaker 14: because a lot of people don't understand it. You know
- 1:26:34Speaker 14: what I'm saying, Like we went, we went. We went
- 1:26:36Speaker 14: through a lot to put this up. You know what
- 1:26:37Speaker 14: I'm saying. I bet on myself every time.
- 1:26:39Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying.
- 1:26:40Speaker 14: I could easily give up. But when I saw this
- 1:26:43Speaker 14: change my life, I was just like, yo, like what
- 1:26:45Speaker 14: I can You know I can get his message to
- 1:26:47Speaker 14: so many people. You know what I'm saying, not gonna lie.
- 1:26:50Speaker 14: I really went In the beginning, I just wanted to
- 1:26:52Speaker 14: talk to hustlers. I just want to talk some dudes
- 1:26:54Speaker 14: from the street. This ain't this ain't nothing against nobody,
- 1:26:56Speaker 14: because I just understood. I understood they was gonna they
- 1:26:59Speaker 14: was gonnappreciate, not even gonna lie, there's nothing against nobody.
- 1:27:04Speaker 14: But I wanted us to tell dudes from the street
- 1:27:06Speaker 14: how to do what I was doing because I knew
- 1:27:07Speaker 14: they was gonna appreciate it. I knew they was looking
- 1:27:10Speaker 14: for a way out. I knew they was looking for
- 1:27:11Speaker 14: ways to put money in better situations. I knew we
- 1:27:14Speaker 14: wasn't really on nothing but just getting it out the
- 1:27:17Speaker 14: mud every day all day. So I was like, Yo,
- 1:27:19Speaker 14: it's a whole nother set of gangsters out here playing
- 1:27:22Speaker 14: this game, but nobody don't want to talk to us.
- 1:27:24Speaker 2: So let me be the voice.
- 1:27:25Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying.
- 1:27:26Speaker 14: Let me show dudes who come from where I come from.
- 1:27:28Speaker 14: Let me show them like, Yo, this is we can
- 1:27:30Speaker 14: do with this bread family, Like we can really build well.
- 1:27:33Speaker 14: Because I remember I say it in the first episode.
- 1:27:35Speaker 14: I said, and nobody don't touch no more money than
- 1:27:37Speaker 14: a dude in the street when it comes to in
- 1:27:39Speaker 14: and out, in and out, in and out.
- 1:27:40Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying, Like that, we're doing money
- 1:27:42Speaker 4: every day, we ain't doing nothing with it. So that
- 1:27:44Speaker 4: was my goal.
- 1:27:45Speaker 14: I'm not gonna lie like cause most of the people
- 1:27:47Speaker 14: who who always have something to say about what was
- 1:27:50Speaker 14: going on, I'm not gonna lie as people who never
- 1:27:53Speaker 14: been through the trenches, you know what I'm saying. I
- 1:27:55Speaker 14: had a dude tell me the other day that Jewish
- 1:27:57Speaker 14: people give all these people to knowledge why you And
- 1:27:59Speaker 14: I was like, all right, yo, and thank you for
- 1:28:01Speaker 14: a shot because he always tell me, Man, sometimes you
- 1:28:03Speaker 14: just can't say nothing TRP. You just gotta let it go,
- 1:28:05Speaker 14: you know what I'm saying. Because I really wanted to
- 1:28:07Speaker 14: get into comments and like tussle with people. You know
- 1:28:09Speaker 14: what I'm saying, very shot be like, Nah, that ain't it,
- 1:28:13Speaker 14: you know what I'm saying. So I really wanted to
- 1:28:14Speaker 14: just do it for the travers.
- 1:28:15Speaker 4: Man, I'm not gonna lie. I stick to who I am.
- 1:28:17Speaker 14: I stick to and a lot of people do feel
- 1:28:19Speaker 14: like I saw people say that before, Like the dude
- 1:28:22Speaker 14: did ten years in prison.
- 1:28:23Speaker 4: Let me tell you something.
- 1:28:24Speaker 14: You don't discredit the dude because he went to prison. Family,
- 1:28:27Speaker 14: you know what I'm saying. I know some of the
- 1:28:28Speaker 14: smartest people in the world in prison. But we all,
- 1:28:31Speaker 14: you know, we all got circumstances. Sometimes you be willing
- 1:28:34Speaker 14: to risk your life for your family, You be willing
- 1:28:36Speaker 14: with your life to do certain things when you don't
- 1:28:37Speaker 14: know no better, you know.
- 1:28:38Speaker 4: What I'm saying.
- 1:28:39Speaker 14: It's easy for somebody to say, well, you can just
- 1:28:41Speaker 14: go get a job, or tell somebody who's been an
- 1:28:43Speaker 14: entrepreneur all their life to go get a job, right,
- 1:28:46Speaker 14: and see how they look at you, see how they
- 1:28:47Speaker 14: willing to sacrifice everything they have.
- 1:28:49Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:28:49Speaker 14: So for me, when I had my daughter, it was like,
- 1:28:51Speaker 14: all right, I gotta change the game, Like I can't
- 1:28:53Speaker 14: be in the street no more. I gotta do something different.
- 1:28:56Speaker 14: But the hustling that nature was still in me. I
- 1:28:58Speaker 14: still want to give my message to the people who
- 1:29:00Speaker 14: I knew nobody wanted to talk to. And just as
- 1:29:03Speaker 14: time passed, I was able to, you know, bring more people,
- 1:29:06Speaker 14: and people from all different sectors you know, work in class, whatever.
- 1:29:09Speaker 14: And I appreciate all that love field, But initially, I'm
- 1:29:11Speaker 14: just gonna be real, it was all about the streets
- 1:29:14Speaker 14: for me. It was all about the hustle for me,
- 1:29:15Speaker 14: because no, we ain't know nothing. We ain't not about
- 1:29:17Speaker 14: no checkbook. We ain't no about no stock account, We
- 1:29:20Speaker 14: ain't nobody got no money to bank. Everything in the mattress,
- 1:29:23Speaker 14: you know what I'm saying, Everything under the matter and
- 1:29:24Speaker 14: a brown in the Nike box. The Joe and box
- 1:29:26Speaker 14: become become the safe. You know what I'm saying, That
- 1:29:28Speaker 14: the rebox soldiers in the walls become the safe. Depositive
- 1:29:31Speaker 14: box you know what I'm saying.
- 1:29:32Speaker 4: So that's what it was for me. You know what
- 1:29:35Speaker 4: I'm saying, That's.
- 1:29:35Speaker 14: Always gonna be you know the underline of the catalyst
- 1:29:38Speaker 14: to why I do what I do? Anybody else that
- 1:29:40Speaker 14: come along the journey. Man, I appreciate y'all, you know
- 1:29:42Speaker 14: what I'm saying, But we can't never leave a dude
- 1:29:45Speaker 14: like so this dude said then in the comments one
- 1:29:46Speaker 14: time he said, why.
- 1:29:48Speaker 4: Would I try to help someone? Why? Why would I
- 1:29:49Speaker 4: try to help somebody who don't want to do better?
- 1:29:51Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying.
- 1:29:52Speaker 14: He was talking about dudes from the street, and I
- 1:29:53Speaker 14: was like, that's exactly why, because you have the knowledge.
- 1:29:56Speaker 4: What if somebody would have gave up on me? You
- 1:29:58Speaker 4: know what I'm saying.
- 1:29:59Speaker 14: With a a shot in troub was like, and I'm
- 1:30:00Speaker 14: gonna be real cheo and then I'm gonna just go
- 1:30:02Speaker 14: Like my brother from Hood of States, when I first
- 1:30:04Speaker 14: got leaked out with him, right when we started running,
- 1:30:06Speaker 14: we started getting cool. The first time I met him,
- 1:30:08Speaker 14: somebody his camp said, Man, that dude in a prison
- 1:30:10Speaker 14: for a Tim Murry, bro, why are you bringing that
- 1:30:12Speaker 14: dude over it? Real talk? And now he become like
- 1:30:16Speaker 14: a big brother. And that same person who told him
- 1:30:18Speaker 14: that he's no longer around, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:30:20Speaker 14: So you know what I'm saying, like you know we
- 1:30:23Speaker 14: got that bad man and just want to just be
- 1:30:25Speaker 14: on each other so hard, you know what I'm saying,
- 1:30:27Speaker 14: like and not were looking at the person and not
- 1:30:29Speaker 14: looking at the message.
- 1:30:30Speaker 6: Man.
- 1:30:30Speaker 14: And that's why I love about y'all. Man, y'all embraced
- 1:30:32Speaker 14: me like a brother. No, no, nothing anywhere I go
- 1:30:35Speaker 14: is it ain't higgle. It's like it's my brother Wall
- 1:30:38Speaker 14: Street trapper man.
- 1:30:39Speaker 2: So I just want to No, no, that's not how
- 1:30:41Speaker 2: we do it. That's not how we do it. Hey,
- 1:30:43Speaker 2: yoall this wan't see each other right here.
- 1:30:47Speaker 5: That's a fact. Man. But let's go, let's go to
- 1:30:49Speaker 5: a few more questions. But just how we rock? Man?
- 1:30:51Speaker 5: You know, sorry to get off on a little tangent.
- 1:30:53Speaker 3: But now they call on you silk silk suit shoddy
- 1:30:55Speaker 3: right now. You know they say it with yo, they
- 1:30:57Speaker 3: saying with silk suit shoty. Come boy, it's gonna be
- 1:30:59Speaker 3: a problem.
- 1:31:00Speaker 2: You understand.
- 1:31:03Speaker 5: It's never no beef. But like I said, you know
- 1:31:05Speaker 5: what they say, your beef is my anybody anybody, anybody
- 1:31:10Speaker 5: that speaks bad about Wall Street Trapper speaks bad about Lisha.
- 1:31:14Speaker 3: And that's how we rocking the trap. I told him
- 1:31:15Speaker 3: they got beef day on their own. I didn't even
- 1:31:17Speaker 3: know day on their own. Bro, we were on a mission.
- 1:31:20Speaker 5: It was just taking in a man, a new hundred
- 1:31:23Speaker 5: dollars man.
- 1:31:23Speaker 2: Oh, Sherry, I thank you for being so pacid. You're
- 1:31:25Speaker 2: still there.
- 1:31:26Speaker 5: Of course, I ain't going nowhere.
- 1:31:29Speaker 2: We appreciate knowing, good.
- 1:31:32Speaker 16: Evening, distinguished deans and professors of ey L University. I'm
- 1:31:38Speaker 16: super grateful for the episode y'all dropped on Monday, Trap.
- 1:31:42Speaker 2: I really needed that.
- 1:31:44Speaker 16: Those gems you were dropping regarding dolar cost averaging versus
- 1:31:49Speaker 16: buying on the dips, I was really confused about how
- 1:31:51Speaker 16: to move forward. They both seem appealing, but I totally
- 1:31:54Speaker 16: am on board and get the dollar cost averaging for
- 1:31:57Speaker 16: the ETS and then buying on the dips for the
- 1:31:58Speaker 16: individual's tax.
- 1:31:59Speaker 4: So I really appreciate that.
- 1:32:02Speaker 16: But my question is, so currently, before I found y'all,
- 1:32:07Speaker 16: you know, when you know better, you do better. So
- 1:32:08Speaker 16: before I found y'all, I had a bunch of individual stocks.
- 1:32:12Speaker 16: So I've been listening to you know, Ian Trappa, eyl Mark,
- 1:32:17Speaker 16: you know. So in general, I'm on board with the
- 1:32:19Speaker 16: buy one of you know, buy two ETFs and then
- 1:32:23Speaker 16: you know, buy something, buy a few individual stocks, but
- 1:32:26Speaker 16: keep it limited and you know, don't build your own
- 1:32:29Speaker 16: mutual fund of individual stocks. So my the situation I'm
- 1:32:34Speaker 16: in right now is I've already bought a bunch of
- 1:32:36Speaker 16: individual stocks and I actually like them. I actually don't.
- 1:32:41Speaker 16: I'm confused on whether to sell them and whittle it
- 1:32:43Speaker 16: down and you know, build up the shares that I have,
- 1:32:47Speaker 16: because I only have a few shares of them. But
- 1:32:48Speaker 16: I have stuff like Apple, Home, Deepot Baba, Boeing, three M, Disney,
- 1:32:55Speaker 16: Coca Cola, and I bought them, you know, some of
- 1:32:57Speaker 16: them I had before Corona, you know, and some of
- 1:33:00Speaker 16: them I bought in March April. So you know, they
- 1:33:03Speaker 16: all up like thirty forty, fifty, sixty seventy percent right now.
- 1:33:07Speaker 4: So I'm just.
- 1:33:10Speaker 16: Right right and that's why. And I just bought Trappers.
- 1:33:16Speaker 5: What do you So you're trying to see if you
- 1:33:17Speaker 5: could if you should skip down on your position.
- 1:33:20Speaker 16: Yeah, I'm wondering if I should should sell off some
- 1:33:24Speaker 16: and build up the shares and the ones that I
- 1:33:26Speaker 16: keep or do I keep all of them and try
- 1:33:28Speaker 16: to build up the shares and all of them, you know,
- 1:33:30Speaker 16: because my funds are not I don't have unlimited funds.
- 1:33:34Speaker 16: So I'm trying to figure out, like.
- 1:33:35Speaker 4: Where do I go from here that existence.
- 1:33:37Speaker 14: We ain't even gonna say we not We're gonna speak
- 1:33:39Speaker 14: unlimited abunners unto your life, right quick, queen?
- 1:33:42Speaker 4: Yes, I'm sorry, that was my band.
- 1:33:45Speaker 2: So what I think?
- 1:33:46Speaker 4: So give me answer this question for me. How many
- 1:33:48Speaker 4: stocks individual stocks do you have right now? Can you
- 1:33:53Speaker 4: top ten? Twelve, fifteen?
- 1:33:55Speaker 16: At least ten?
- 1:33:56Speaker 4: That's good?
- 1:33:57Speaker 2: So, yeah, that's good.
- 1:33:59Speaker 4: You know, like an index fund. You talking about forty
- 1:34:03Speaker 4: fifty stocks in that thing. You know what I'm saying?
- 1:34:05Speaker 4: You okay with that, queen? And then you got some
- 1:34:07Speaker 4: good stocks.
- 1:34:08Speaker 14: You have great value stocks right there, right, so they
- 1:34:10Speaker 14: gonna they're gonna perform well for you all the time,
- 1:34:12Speaker 14: so you don't have to sell at all.
- 1:34:14Speaker 4: What I would tell you to do is so and
- 1:34:17Speaker 4: you do have some a couple of ETFs.
- 1:34:20Speaker 16: Right well, So in my my brokerage account, I only
- 1:34:24Speaker 16: have one it's a healthcare.
- 1:34:26Speaker 4: But in my retirement I have you know, I have
- 1:34:28Speaker 4: a bunch. Okay, so let's break that down. So we
- 1:34:31Speaker 4: got two accounts.
- 1:34:31Speaker 14: We got a retirement account and then you have your
- 1:34:34Speaker 14: brokerage account, right, yes, so your retirement account it should
- 1:34:38Speaker 14: be more long term, right yes, all right, and then
- 1:34:41Speaker 14: you're broke. So that's what you can do now, So
- 1:34:43Speaker 14: let's do this. In your retirement account, that's where all
- 1:34:45Speaker 14: the stocks at. Oh, that's where your ETFs at.
- 1:34:49Speaker 16: Yeah, that's where all the ets. Well, that's where all
- 1:34:50Speaker 16: the mutual fund slash ETFs. I only have the individual
- 1:34:53Speaker 16: stocks in my brokerage, all right, cool.
- 1:34:56Speaker 14: So what you can do is you can pull your
- 1:34:57Speaker 14: brokerage account for you can make sure you drip all
- 1:35:00Speaker 14: those right, so, because what that's gonna do is that's
- 1:35:03Speaker 14: gonna amplify your returns. And then you can just yeah,
- 1:35:06Speaker 14: you could just reinvest all your diffidends and your brokerage account.
- 1:35:09Speaker 14: That's gonna amplify your returns.
- 1:35:11Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:35:11Speaker 4: That's really why you up the way you up to.
- 1:35:13Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying.
- 1:35:13Speaker 14: People always forget about that when you reinvest the dividends,
- 1:35:16Speaker 14: it helps increase your percentage of going up. It helped
- 1:35:19Speaker 14: increase your returns, right, So take that and then in
- 1:35:23Speaker 14: your retirement account, you know, just let them be long term,
- 1:35:28Speaker 14: let them be with it be. But if you got
- 1:35:30Speaker 14: ten stocks in at ten to twelve stocks, you good,
- 1:35:32Speaker 14: and I will say, don't go over like twenty.
- 1:35:34Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying. You don't want to go
- 1:35:36Speaker 4: that heavy.
- 1:35:36Speaker 14: Then you're starting to look like an ETU at this point,
- 1:35:39Speaker 14: you know what I'm saying.
- 1:35:39Speaker 4: But if you won't do that, then just open you
- 1:35:41Speaker 4: up another account.
- 1:35:41Speaker 14: So one of the things I often tell people to
- 1:35:43Speaker 14: do this, it's okay to have multiple accounts for different things.
- 1:35:47Speaker 14: I have an account I'm about to put money in.
- 1:35:49Speaker 14: It's gonna be straight forward dividends. I'm about to add
- 1:35:51Speaker 14: that to my group. It's gonna be just a dividend account.
- 1:35:54Speaker 14: It's all as fun. And then I have another what
- 1:35:57Speaker 14: I'm more aggressive and shot.
- 1:35:58Speaker 4: Are you will kill it good for careful and then
- 1:36:05Speaker 4: have another account. And I actually have one three accounts.
- 1:36:08Speaker 14: So one of my accounts is my wraw Ira account, right,
- 1:36:11Speaker 14: and it's just straight it's I can't get it time
- 1:36:14Speaker 14: sixty five. So actually in that account, I actually take
- 1:36:16Speaker 14: a little more risk than I would any other time.
- 1:36:20Speaker 14: But because I know I have nothing but time, right,
- 1:36:22Speaker 14: but it's not much. It's only five percent. It's mostly
- 1:36:25Speaker 14: just long term, good place. But I have a in
- 1:36:28Speaker 14: my regular account, I really take way more risks than
- 1:36:31Speaker 14: normal because I'm playing it for that right, and then
- 1:36:35Speaker 14: I'm gonna just have a dividend account. So it's okay
- 1:36:37Speaker 14: to have those, but just have an idea of what
- 1:36:40Speaker 14: you want them to do. That's one of the things
- 1:36:42Speaker 14: we want. We won't be real intentional with what we're doing.
- 1:36:44Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:36:45Speaker 14: The more intentional you are, the clearer your vision becomes
- 1:36:48Speaker 14: as an investor makes sense.
- 1:36:50Speaker 4: Yes, thank you so much.
- 1:36:52Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 1:36:52Speaker 2: Hold on to those ye wait where are you from?
- 1:36:54Speaker 2: Where are you from?
- 1:36:55Speaker 4: New Orleans?
- 1:36:56Speaker 2: You notice I just want I just want to travel.
- 1:37:00Speaker 2: I just want to travel.
- 1:37:02Speaker 16: Me and tramp I got a lot in common from
- 1:37:04Speaker 16: New Orleans living in Atlanta.
- 1:37:05Speaker 2: You feel me, you feel me.
- 1:37:09Speaker 16: Up with the mask on.
- 1:37:14Speaker 4: We just know each other, Yo, we just knew it one.
- 1:37:17Speaker 2: I know where she's from. Thank you.
- 1:37:21Speaker 4: That's e y L. When if you ever see me, man,
- 1:37:24Speaker 4: we can link this. We had to sit down. This
- 1:37:26Speaker 4: all love.
- 1:37:27Speaker 5: Let's get a few more questions before shout out to
- 1:37:30Speaker 5: end on the check in.
- 1:37:31Speaker 2: YO, Saint Patrick has checked in he said, he said,
- 1:37:35Speaker 2: just keep it. You good says.
- 1:37:37Speaker 3: Let's go to Jeremy, Jeremy Pool, we come to you.
- 1:37:39Speaker 3: I mute yourself. You've been unmuted.
- 1:37:43Speaker 17: How y'all doing, how y'all doing?
- 1:37:45Speaker 2: What's good?
- 1:37:45Speaker 5: My gun?
- 1:37:46Speaker 17: I'm good, brother, I'm good man. I missed out of
- 1:37:49Speaker 17: the book club I just started.
- 1:37:50Speaker 2: I'm looking like yo, I ain't seen you on Sunday.
- 1:37:52Speaker 17: It's all love, bro, Yeah, yeah, yeah, anyone that missed that,
- 1:37:55Speaker 17: they gotta do. That's the community of love and empowerment
- 1:37:58Speaker 17: for sure right there.
- 1:38:00Speaker 2: And you definitely add to a man, So shout out
- 1:38:01Speaker 2: to you.
- 1:38:02Speaker 17: Yeah, I appreciate that, hey, trap man, Like I just
- 1:38:05Speaker 17: honestly like what you're doing, what you continue to do,
- 1:38:07Speaker 17: its like it's inspirational.
- 1:38:09Speaker 4: So like that's just what I got to start, because
- 1:38:11Speaker 4: your story is my story, man.
- 1:38:13Speaker 17: So my real question really is, like what was the
- 1:38:17Speaker 17: hardest tapping into like a new mindset because retaining wealth
- 1:38:23Speaker 17: is way different than the street life of surviving and
- 1:38:25Speaker 17: trying to trying to thrive and hold it. So like
- 1:38:29Speaker 17: that that's the key because now, like I've been out
- 1:38:31Speaker 17: for the last five and just yeah, I appreciate that
- 1:38:36Speaker 17: I've been out for the last five and it's been
- 1:38:37Speaker 17: like nine to five check the check.
- 1:38:42Speaker 2: And I've learned.
- 1:38:43Speaker 17: I've learned to be cool with that right now. I've
- 1:38:45Speaker 17: learned not to chase. I learned to stick to the script,
- 1:38:48Speaker 17: play by the rules, and live a life of purpose now.
- 1:38:52Speaker 17: But really, what's the mindset that you went from the
- 1:38:55Speaker 17: survival to thriving to hold on to the wealth?
- 1:38:58Speaker 4: So good Man's that's that's that's that's literally that was
- 1:39:01Speaker 4: it for me. So one of how how I was
- 1:39:04Speaker 4: it able to make.
- 1:39:05Speaker 14: The switch, I'm not gonna lie. I had to just
- 1:39:07Speaker 14: tell myself like and this ain't it. And I'm gonna
- 1:39:10Speaker 14: tell you something.
- 1:39:12Speaker 4: I don't want you to just.
- 1:39:15Speaker 14: Settle for where you're at if you know that ain't
- 1:39:17Speaker 14: what you want. Like because hustler, the hustler like you,
- 1:39:21Speaker 14: A hustler like you, You cool with betting on yourself? Right,
- 1:39:25Speaker 14: You cool with betting on yourself. All we got to
- 1:39:27Speaker 14: do now is find something something else you to bet
- 1:39:29Speaker 14: on yourself with. You feel me like, don't know that
- 1:39:33Speaker 14: hustler spirit, broh, Like a lot of people don't have that.
- 1:39:35Speaker 14: I'm gonna just be real with you. People ask me
- 1:39:37Speaker 14: all the time. Like even my sisters, she'd be like, bro,
- 1:39:39Speaker 14: you don't stop. I'm like, I'm a hustler man, like
- 1:39:42Speaker 14: I know how to get it. Like that's what keep
- 1:39:44Speaker 14: me going, that's what's gonna separate me. That's what's gonna
- 1:39:46Speaker 14: separate you from a lot of people. Man, you got that,
- 1:39:48Speaker 14: but you got to find something else you're willing to
- 1:39:50Speaker 14: and then you saying like you're willing to build a wealth.
- 1:39:52Speaker 14: It's somebody out here need to hear you. You feel
- 1:39:55Speaker 14: what I'm saying, just like people hear me all the time,
- 1:39:57Speaker 14: Like it's somebody out here need to hear you. It's
- 1:39:59Speaker 14: something you real good at. The hustle was just one product.
- 1:40:02Speaker 14: You need to find another product. But the mindset for
- 1:40:05Speaker 14: me was it was simple. It was like, Okay, I
- 1:40:07Speaker 14: need to do something bigger than me. And what helped me,
- 1:40:09Speaker 14: I'm not gonna lie it was my daughter, Like that
- 1:40:11Speaker 14: was it.
- 1:40:12Speaker 4: That was the humble for me.
- 1:40:13Speaker 14: That was the like, oh okay, that's how we do it.
- 1:40:17Speaker 14: And then it started saying I got to do something
- 1:40:19Speaker 14: that's bigger than myself. You know what I'm saying, Like
- 1:40:21Speaker 14: if I know I'm hustling, I'm grinding. I know, I'm
- 1:40:23Speaker 14: I was withing the risk of my life every day
- 1:40:24Speaker 14: all that it's because I ain't had no kid. Like
- 1:40:27Speaker 14: once I had my kid, it was like, Okay, somebody
- 1:40:29Speaker 14: really need me here. You know what I'm saying, I'm
- 1:40:31Speaker 14: just being real, Like I felt like, okay, somebody like
- 1:40:34Speaker 14: I didn't want her to run across to me. You
- 1:40:36Speaker 14: know what I'm saying, like real talk, no, no, no
- 1:40:39Speaker 14: sugarcoat it. I didn't want her to run across from
- 1:40:41Speaker 14: me at twenty five six seller, I didn't want her
- 1:40:45Speaker 14: to run across from me.
- 1:40:46Speaker 4: I didn't want this world to dictate to her how
- 1:40:49Speaker 4: she's supposed to live her life like, and I knew
- 1:40:52Speaker 4: I had to be here for that right.
- 1:40:54Speaker 14: So now it was becoming okay, how do I transform
- 1:40:57Speaker 14: the mindset and always look at her? I literally just said,
- 1:40:59Speaker 14: my daughter, mama a picture of a video of my
- 1:41:02Speaker 14: daughter when she was three. I often look at those
- 1:41:04Speaker 14: because they keep me humbling, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:41:06Speaker 14: So find a purpose that's bigger than you. Understand that
- 1:41:09Speaker 14: the wealth is going to change your minds. It's gonna
- 1:41:11Speaker 14: change your life.
- 1:41:11Speaker 5: I promise you this.
- 1:41:12Speaker 14: Man Like, once you start attaining well, it changes your mindset.
- 1:41:17Speaker 14: You already a hustling. You saw you a hustle from
- 1:41:19Speaker 14: old like me, right, so you know a lot of
- 1:41:21Speaker 14: the stuff that going to dig you not with. So
- 1:41:23Speaker 14: you got a different type of principles, you know what
- 1:41:25Speaker 14: I'm saying. You got a different type of vision that
- 1:41:28Speaker 14: a lot of people don't have. Don't don't don't let
- 1:41:30Speaker 14: that lead dorm it. I promise you can't.
- 1:41:32Speaker 4: Don't let that lead doing it.
- 1:41:34Speaker 17: That's that's yeah, I'm I'm tapped in already, man. Like
- 1:41:37Speaker 17: my house ship is just helping people that's been in
- 1:41:40Speaker 17: our situation. I work with addicts like I found, I
- 1:41:42Speaker 17: found my purpose, like definitely, and I've been building on that.
- 1:41:46Speaker 17: It's just again like it's sometimes worrying about that survival piece,
- 1:41:50Speaker 17: you know, because I got two little ones too.
- 1:41:52Speaker 4: Man, it's it so I get it.
- 1:41:55Speaker 17: Man like that that's love for real, that's real love,
- 1:41:58Speaker 17: Like I get it. Just be patient, staying out lanes,
- 1:42:01Speaker 17: stick to the script.
- 1:42:02Speaker 4: Because what happens is we get you know, and I'm
- 1:42:05Speaker 4: gonna be rid even if being in the streets.
- 1:42:07Speaker 14: We have a level of patience, right, you know what
- 1:42:11Speaker 14: the next thing like for me when I was doing
- 1:42:13Speaker 14: when I was doing one thing, like my goal was
- 1:42:16Speaker 14: to get to the next level, like and I'm gonna
- 1:42:17Speaker 14: just say like when I was getting a quarter, it
- 1:42:19Speaker 14: was like, all right, I gotta get an own, and
- 1:42:21Speaker 14: I'll have to go back and forth to I have
- 1:42:23Speaker 14: enough to get an own, and I got ann. The
- 1:42:25Speaker 14: next thing to get a tune a quarter like all right,
- 1:42:27Speaker 14: cool col cool. The next thing to get a full
- 1:42:28Speaker 14: and a half like cool cool. The next thing is
- 1:42:30Speaker 14: to get a nine piece like cool cool. The next
- 1:42:32Speaker 14: thing is to get a break, but I never got to.
- 1:42:34Speaker 14: But so you have a level of patience, the hustle
- 1:42:36Speaker 14: of the goal is in front of you. What your
- 1:42:38Speaker 14: next level is. Start asking yourself what's the next level? Right,
- 1:42:41Speaker 14: what's the next level you're trying to go to? Don't
- 1:42:43Speaker 14: see the whole thing. Sometimes even in red Dollar, your
- 1:42:46Speaker 14: bookie say, sometimes you got big, bigger picture thingers you
- 1:42:49Speaker 14: see people who see it from level to level. It's
- 1:42:51Speaker 14: okay to see it from level the level, right, because
- 1:42:53Speaker 14: your next level that's gonna motivate you.
- 1:42:55Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:42:55Speaker 14: Sometimes people quit the race because they can't see the
- 1:42:57Speaker 14: finish line. But in the relay race, right, That's why
- 1:42:59Speaker 14: I said it's a marathon, not a sprint and a
- 1:43:02Speaker 14: relay race. All you're looking for is to go to
- 1:43:03Speaker 14: the next person and get a.
- 1:43:04Speaker 4: Bad tone to.
- 1:43:05Speaker 14: Your kids are the person you're giving a bad tone to.
- 1:43:07Speaker 14: So now let's just get you to the next level
- 1:43:09Speaker 14: every time, right, And that's gonna keep that's what. And
- 1:43:11Speaker 14: I'm just giving you a keep me at that place
- 1:43:14Speaker 14: and then start putting yourself around people who can feed you.
- 1:43:16Speaker 4: That's why I love a shot and Choice so much.
- 1:43:17Speaker 14: They feed Troy call me at eleven o'clock the day
- 1:43:20Speaker 14: I was in my house building the desk, and he
- 1:43:23Speaker 14: was like, you look like me, and we immediately start
- 1:43:24Speaker 14: having a conversation about desting and things like that.
- 1:43:27Speaker 4: So that's the next important.
- 1:43:28Speaker 2: Thing you need to be.
- 1:43:29Speaker 4: So you're a good seed with you right now.
- 1:43:31Speaker 14: I'm not gonna say you are in bad saw you,
- 1:43:33Speaker 14: but to saw you in it's not nurturing you right now.
- 1:43:35Speaker 14: So you got to get in something. You got to
- 1:43:36Speaker 14: get around people who willing to nurture you and help
- 1:43:38Speaker 14: you build on where you're at.
- 1:43:40Speaker 2: He came to the right place. He came to the
- 1:43:43Speaker 2: right place.
- 1:43:44Speaker 3: That's that's how God man like I said, Jeremy. I
- 1:43:47Speaker 3: knew you wasn't there because I missed your presence. Man,
- 1:43:50Speaker 3: and happy things giving to you and your family.
- 1:43:52Speaker 6: Bro.
- 1:43:52Speaker 5: Bless you, God, bless you jam.
- 1:43:54Speaker 4: Any time man you want to shoot, man shooting at you,
- 1:43:56Speaker 4: and I don't mind having that necess.
- 1:44:00Speaker 2: Just Sandra, we're coming to you. I haven't seen that
- 1:44:02Speaker 2: name before. Hopefully I got it right.
- 1:44:04Speaker 5: Appreciate the super chair love Brother, Appreciate Susie. Appreciate the
- 1:44:07Speaker 5: super chair love. TC Appreciate the super chair love Sandra.
- 1:44:11Speaker 2: Oh wait she did?
- 1:44:11Speaker 5: Yeah you did?
- 1:44:12Speaker 2: All right? What's up?
- 1:44:13Speaker 4: Hi?
- 1:44:13Speaker 6: How are you?
- 1:44:15Speaker 2: Did I get it right?
- 1:44:16Speaker 5: Yes? You did?
- 1:44:18Speaker 6: Yes, thank you.
- 1:44:23Speaker 5: I am so excited.
- 1:44:24Speaker 4: I'm a new earner.
- 1:44:25Speaker 9: I've probably been with you guys for about a month,
- 1:44:28Speaker 9: and I'm just soaking everything and it's just it's a
- 1:44:32Speaker 9: little bit overwhelming, but I'm excited.
- 1:44:35Speaker 6: I have a question about.
- 1:44:39Speaker 9: I kind of started dabbling in stocks in August and
- 1:44:43Speaker 9: I have, unfortunately quite a few. I have like twenty
- 1:44:47Speaker 9: four stocks, and I know I need to pare them down.
- 1:44:52Speaker 9: I'm up about four K since August, and so I'm
- 1:44:57Speaker 9: trying to I have a small all I ray, but
- 1:45:02Speaker 9: I was trying to figure out how to take the capital, Like,
- 1:45:08Speaker 9: what's the best move to take like capital gains and
- 1:45:12Speaker 9: have it reinvest If I'm invested in stocks that aren't dividends,
- 1:45:19Speaker 9: do you know what I'm saying?
- 1:45:22Speaker 4: Say it?
- 1:45:24Speaker 6: So? So I have I have stocks that have.
- 1:45:28Speaker 9: That I've gotten some some gains on, right, but they're
- 1:45:31Speaker 9: not necessarily dividends stocks like I don't either. They don't
- 1:45:35Speaker 9: have like quarterly dividends or whatever. So how do I without,
- 1:45:42Speaker 9: you know, like use the money that I have in
- 1:45:45Speaker 9: there to buy more stocks?
- 1:45:50Speaker 5: She wants to sell her profit? She wants to sell
- 1:45:52Speaker 5: her stock profit to buy more stocks, right, yes, yes.
- 1:45:55Speaker 4: How do I don't like that?
- 1:45:59Speaker 14: Even if you don't pay dividends, you still play capital
- 1:46:01Speaker 14: games once you see a profit, right, So if you,
- 1:46:04Speaker 14: I will say this though, like make sure you hold
- 1:46:06Speaker 14: it for a year and a day first, please do
- 1:46:10Speaker 14: let's call it. Yeah, let's hold it for a year
- 1:46:12Speaker 14: and a day first. So we put those games down.
- 1:46:16Speaker 14: But I will say, if twenty four stocks, that mean
- 1:46:19Speaker 14: you you probably have some stocks in the same sector
- 1:46:21Speaker 14: you're doubling up. So let's go with the best pick
- 1:46:24Speaker 14: in each sector, your best feeling each second. Let's kind
- 1:46:27Speaker 14: of get that down to at least between eight and twelve. Okay,
- 1:46:31Speaker 14: you don't need twenty four doubling up. I know you're
- 1:46:33Speaker 14: doubling up.
- 1:46:34Speaker 4: So let's cop eight and twelve. Let's get it between
- 1:46:37Speaker 4: eight and twelve. So let's get your best twelve.
- 1:46:40Speaker 14: Okay, get your best twelve O eight to twelve depending
- 1:46:44Speaker 14: on what sector you in, and then let's focus on that.
- 1:46:46Speaker 14: So now what you sell off, and that's why I'm
- 1:46:48Speaker 14: telling you narrow it down at eight to twelve, because
- 1:46:50Speaker 14: what happens is this, you now the twelve, the twelve
- 1:46:54Speaker 14: that you will sell, you take offits and put them
- 1:46:57Speaker 14: in your best eight to twelve. You know what I'm saying,
- 1:46:59Speaker 14: and you'll maximize that, right And if it's a diffendend stock,
- 1:47:02Speaker 14: then you now just put a little put a little
- 1:47:05Speaker 14: extra boots to it, because now that's going to bring
- 1:47:06Speaker 14: your games up a little more.
- 1:47:08Speaker 2: To Sandra, that you're not alone in that.
- 1:47:10Speaker 3: Like when when I was investing, I was looking at
- 1:47:13Speaker 3: my portfolio and I was like, Yo, I had Qualcomm,
- 1:47:16Speaker 3: I had TSM.
- 1:47:18Speaker 2: I was just like I had them all.
- 1:47:21Speaker 3: Like I was just like yo at video AMD, I'm like, yo,
- 1:47:23Speaker 3: I got five semiconductors.
- 1:47:26Speaker 2: It was like, Yo, you know what I'm saying. It
- 1:47:27Speaker 2: was like when you start looking at it, like, yo,
- 1:47:29Speaker 2: what secting? I really do? Like take the two best?
- 1:47:32Speaker 2: Take the two best.
- 1:47:34Speaker 14: And when you have a lot of times when people
- 1:47:35Speaker 14: have that minute stocks they doubling up in certain doubling
- 1:47:38Speaker 14: trippling up in certain sectors, you don't have to do that,
- 1:47:41Speaker 14: right And if you won't double and triple up in
- 1:47:42Speaker 14: a sector like that, and just get the ETF.
- 1:47:44Speaker 4: And if you want maximum games, pick one stock. You
- 1:47:47Speaker 4: know what I'm saying.
- 1:47:48Speaker 14: So you and a semiconductive stock, pick one, and you
- 1:47:50Speaker 14: really just say, I love this secret, then just get
- 1:47:52Speaker 14: the ETF as well.
- 1:47:54Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying. Now you can mitigate the
- 1:47:56Speaker 4: risk with the et UP and still get it extra shot.
- 1:47:59Speaker 14: He loves smmhor. I got to hear them see a movie.
- 1:48:04Speaker 14: So definitely we want to cut that twenty four down
- 1:48:07Speaker 14: to at least eight to twelve, you know what I'm saying,
- 1:48:09Speaker 14: and then pick your best twelve Awesome.
- 1:48:12Speaker 4: Yeah, I think you know.
- 1:48:15Speaker 9: What I was doing was just buying things that like
- 1:48:17Speaker 9: I'm a consumer of and thinking, well, if I'm going
- 1:48:20Speaker 9: to keep them in business, and the stocks doing like
- 1:48:23Speaker 9: halfway decent. Then you know, that was kind of my strategy,
- 1:48:26Speaker 9: which obviously I know that that's not a good strategy.
- 1:48:29Speaker 9: And now that I've been you know, introduced to you guys,
- 1:48:32Speaker 9: so I'm I'm going to work on that.
- 1:48:34Speaker 6: Thank you so much. I appreciate your time and you awesome.
- 1:48:37Speaker 4: Be cool with that.
- 1:48:38Speaker 14: Like, what I do love about it is what I
- 1:48:40Speaker 14: love about everybody in here, whether there earners or trappers.
- 1:48:45Speaker 14: The idea that you actually invest in anyway is what's
- 1:48:48Speaker 14: important to us. We can get you in the right
- 1:48:50Speaker 14: place over the long term. The fact that you in
- 1:48:52Speaker 14: the market. Remember my saying time in the market is
- 1:48:55Speaker 14: better than timing the market, right, So the fact that
- 1:48:58Speaker 14: you're in the market is amazing. We can work on
- 1:49:00Speaker 14: technique and the loans like a box. As long as
- 1:49:02Speaker 14: he got the halt to fight, we can give him
- 1:49:04Speaker 14: the skills. Later on he she got the hal to fight,
- 1:49:06Speaker 14: we can work on your jab and left hook along
- 1:49:08Speaker 14: the way.
- 1:49:10Speaker 5: I appreciate that. Great question. Yeah, we're gonna close it
- 1:49:14Speaker 5: out before we finish, So we're gonna give away the
- 1:49:16Speaker 5: last thousand. We gave away the first thousand, get with
- 1:49:18Speaker 5: the last thousand before we do that trap. Tell us
- 1:49:21Speaker 5: about the blue Magic, the Family Pack situation.
- 1:49:25Speaker 4: Money. Yeah, I need to give you a thousand to them, Bro, you.
- 1:49:33Speaker 5: Want to give away a thousand dollars? Yeah all right,
- 1:49:36Speaker 5: so at the end, at the end, please do not
- 1:49:37Speaker 5: don't wait wait no, yeah yeah yeah yeah.
- 1:49:42Speaker 4: Something better. I got something better, Bro, I got something better.
- 1:49:46Speaker 4: I got I'm gonna buy.
- 1:49:50Speaker 14: I'm I'm gonna give one person an early leasion scholarship.
- 1:49:54Speaker 5: Man's men, I appreciate that better than money.
- 1:49:58Speaker 4: Man, that's better than I'm a big time I'm trying
- 1:50:02Speaker 4: to feed your family.
- 1:50:03Speaker 5: Man, how are you gonna how are you gonna pick
- 1:50:05Speaker 5: the person?
- 1:50:06Speaker 2: Y'all?
- 1:50:06Speaker 4: I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna let y'all do it.
- 1:50:07Speaker 2: Man, I got my people on it right now.
- 1:50:11Speaker 4: I'm gonna let your pot.
- 1:50:14Speaker 5: We're gonna have Janet in the YouTube. She's gonna pick
- 1:50:15Speaker 5: somebody in YouTube, and they're.
- 1:50:17Speaker 14: Gonna I'll buy somebody that way. We just because that's
- 1:50:20Speaker 14: what the Family Pack is all about. That's what the
- 1:50:22Speaker 14: weld pack is all about. If I give you money
- 1:50:24Speaker 14: and you don't know what to do it, you're gonna
- 1:50:26Speaker 14: blow the money. You know what I'm saying. We give
- 1:50:28Speaker 14: you kids a million dollars and your kids don't know
- 1:50:30Speaker 14: what to do with it, and they're gonna waste a
- 1:50:33Speaker 14: million dollars, right, But if you teach them how to fish,
- 1:50:37Speaker 14: and if you teach them how to feed theirselves, and
- 1:50:39Speaker 14: you teach them how to feed the next generation, now
- 1:50:42Speaker 14: we can.
- 1:50:42Speaker 4: Turn our last names into an asset. And that's what
- 1:50:44Speaker 4: that's all about for us. You know what I'm saying.
- 1:50:46Speaker 14: That's what the family pack, that's what the well packed,
- 1:50:48Speaker 14: that's what the plug generation is. Generational wealth it's all about.
- 1:50:52Speaker 14: It's a blueprint, it's a manual. It's a guy right
- 1:50:55Speaker 14: on how to actually like teach our families how to
- 1:50:59Speaker 14: build wealth, but not just how to build it, but
- 1:51:01Speaker 14: how to sustain it, how to secure it.
- 1:51:04Speaker 4: You feel what I'm saying.
- 1:51:05Speaker 14: So one of the things is like, that's why we
- 1:51:08Speaker 14: go over the different types of trust. It's not about
- 1:51:11Speaker 14: getting the money, it's about learning how to protect the money.
- 1:51:14Speaker 14: It's like I read the Franklin man Clean and sold.
- 1:51:17Speaker 14: Her empires were eighty five million dollars. When she died,
- 1:51:20Speaker 14: it was instantly cut in half.
- 1:51:22Speaker 4: It was far to two million. You know what I'm saying.
- 1:51:24Speaker 4: We don't want to do that. You know what I'm saying.
- 1:51:26Speaker 4: We don't want work hard, We don't want get it
- 1:51:28Speaker 4: out the mud.
- 1:51:29Speaker 14: They get the money, leave it to our kids, and
- 1:51:31Speaker 14: then they done got caught up in probate.
- 1:51:33Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying.
- 1:51:34Speaker 14: Our stay caught up in probate. The courts got our
- 1:51:37Speaker 14: money tied up, right.
- 1:51:39Speaker 4: So that's what it's about. It's about showing us how
- 1:51:41Speaker 4: to invest.
- 1:51:42Speaker 14: In these growth stocks, how to set these custodio counts up,
- 1:51:45Speaker 14: learning the difference between the two types of custodio counts,
- 1:51:48Speaker 14: learning how to use the five twenty nine plan. Like,
- 1:51:51Speaker 14: that's the important. That's what we're doing, yo. Like, and
- 1:51:54Speaker 14: it's like we said before, man like for a year
- 1:51:57Speaker 14: some change, we've been just giving stocks.
- 1:51:59Speaker 4: Like that's cool. We've been giving stocks for a year
- 1:52:01Speaker 4: and some change. All right, cool.
- 1:52:03Speaker 14: Now, let's teach you how to really feeld wealth. Like
- 1:52:07Speaker 14: let's show you why, you know, Jeff Beezel's made three
- 1:52:11Speaker 14: billion dollars in a day. Let's show you why Elon
- 1:52:13Speaker 14: Musk increases value by one hundred million just year to
- 1:52:17Speaker 14: date from January one till now, and he's not going
- 1:52:20Speaker 14: to lose that. It's the reason why they can give
- 1:52:22Speaker 14: up what's called that pledge to give all their rol back.
- 1:52:25Speaker 14: It's the reason why they do all this, you know
- 1:52:28Speaker 14: what I'm saying. It's a reason why they do this.
- 1:52:30Speaker 14: And so now we got to stop being consumers, right,
- 1:52:33Speaker 14: we got to start being earn us. You know what
- 1:52:35Speaker 14: I'm saying.
- 1:52:36Speaker 2: We got to stall pun intended all pun.
- 1:52:39Speaker 5: You know what I'm saying.
- 1:52:41Speaker 4: That's what we hit from.
- 1:52:42Speaker 2: Man.
- 1:52:42Speaker 14: That's what the well pack is all about. It's about
- 1:52:45Speaker 14: educating the culture in a way that's different than anybody
- 1:52:48Speaker 14: this This is not I promise y'all, Yo, there's nothing
- 1:52:51Speaker 14: like this.
- 1:52:52Speaker 4: There's nothing literally.
- 1:52:55Speaker 14: Like if you look on my post today, somebody said,
- 1:52:57Speaker 14: brod think this is your best word ever. I went
- 1:52:59Speaker 14: into that knowing my intention was different. Like I said,
- 1:53:03Speaker 14: we've been giving away stocks for a year and a half. Now,
- 1:53:05Speaker 14: if you just took some of the free game that
- 1:53:07Speaker 14: myself and in Rashah, you just took some of the
- 1:53:10Speaker 14: stocks we gave y'all within the last year or six months, then.
- 1:53:16Speaker 4: You up fifty sixty, seventy percent. Easy.
- 1:53:20Speaker 14: But when people got to ask things like when do
- 1:53:23Speaker 14: I sell? How do I find a stock? And I mean,
- 1:53:27Speaker 14: we got to go back in the lab and we
- 1:53:29Speaker 14: got to touch the people on a whole different level. Right,
- 1:53:31Speaker 14: if people don't know about insurance, we got to go
- 1:53:33Speaker 14: talk about it on a whole different level. Right if
- 1:53:36Speaker 14: people don't know, like what like that's one of the
- 1:53:38Speaker 14: things we got set up in there. I literally took
- 1:53:41Speaker 14: and I'm gonna just say this because I know Rashata,
- 1:53:43Speaker 14: I took a whole two families, and I took their
- 1:53:47Speaker 14: whole trust set up, put it on the screen, show
- 1:53:51Speaker 14: and walk through a bit like Troy.
- 1:53:53Speaker 4: It took me an hour just going troub like track.
- 1:53:58Speaker 4: I'm like, give me some wal let's go.
- 1:54:00Speaker 14: You know what I'm saying, so we can see understand
- 1:54:04Speaker 14: how this happens, right, and what we need to do
- 1:54:08Speaker 14: Wealthy people live. Put the blueprint out there for us.
- 1:54:11Speaker 14: The problem is we're so caught up with being entertained,
- 1:54:14Speaker 14: we don't we forget to get educated. So now we
- 1:54:17Speaker 14: give you all forty two plus modules five hours worth
- 1:54:20Speaker 14: of just trying to get educated. You want to do
- 1:54:22Speaker 14: something with your family, turn the TV off, put your
- 1:54:25Speaker 14: computer on, and tap into that weld pack Man bro forty.
- 1:54:29Speaker 5: Two and it's a guarantee, how to tell, how to
- 1:54:32Speaker 5: make it get a millionaire? Two. Don't forget that.
- 1:54:34Speaker 2: I even the hearing you say it is like, Yo,
- 1:54:37Speaker 2: it was forty two midules. That's so crazy.
- 1:54:39Speaker 5: Where can they get I'm gonna put the link in
- 1:54:42Speaker 5: on him Pennant. It's called Trapping. I n with EYL.
- 1:54:46Speaker 5: It's on our website also, and I'm a Pennant in YouTube.
- 1:54:49Speaker 5: So seventy trap was doing seventy five percent off of
- 1:54:52Speaker 5: the first two hundred people, which that actually expired, but
- 1:54:56Speaker 5: he he reuppted that for the next two hundred people,
- 1:54:59Speaker 5: So seventy five percent off for the next two hundred people,
- 1:55:01Speaker 5: and then after that runs out, I think it's gonna
- 1:55:03Speaker 5: be fifty percent off. It's still gonna be a discount.
- 1:55:05Speaker 5: But the Black Friday seventy five percent is just like
- 1:55:08Speaker 5: a first come, first serve. What do they gotta do
- 1:55:10Speaker 5: to get? They got dmu plug.
- 1:55:13Speaker 14: So if y'all just you know, because I like, you know,
- 1:55:16Speaker 14: the trapper and me will always be alive, right, it
- 1:55:19Speaker 14: ain't going nowhere.
- 1:55:20Speaker 4: I still like to serve hand in hand. I still
- 1:55:24Speaker 4: like to put it in the bag, put it on
- 1:55:26Speaker 4: the scale, and give it to you on.
- 1:55:29Speaker 2: Four Corners on the bag man, you already know.
- 1:55:33Speaker 4: So if you if you just won't, you know, you
- 1:55:35Speaker 4: won't get it from the plug himself. D and me
- 1:55:38Speaker 4: on Instagram the word plug.
- 1:55:41Speaker 14: And I was up last night till a minute, like shipping,
- 1:55:46Speaker 14: like getting the trappers in, and then today I just
- 1:55:50Speaker 14: you know, with me running around.
- 1:55:52Speaker 4: You know, some people fell shot.
- 1:55:54Speaker 14: So me, being a man of my word, I felt
- 1:55:56Speaker 14: like we had to give another at least give another
- 1:55:58Speaker 14: two hundred people a shot because of my flow, you
- 1:56:01Speaker 14: know what I'm saying, because of my error.
- 1:56:02Speaker 4: So I'm always about manning up. So DM me the
- 1:56:05Speaker 4: word plug. I got my phone right here by me,
