A group of four small-town friends — Julie, Helen, Barry, and Ray — accidentally hit and kill a pedestrian after a night of partying. They dump the body and swear to keep it secret. A year later, each begins receiving messages that read: “I Know What You Did Last Summer.” Soon, a mysterious figure with a hook begins stalking them, and their summer secret turns into a nightmare.
