But not the basic ones you might already know. Let's learn orange, purple, and brown in Telugu. Luna: Oh, that's perfect. I love purple. So what's orange? Lucas: Orange in Telugu is నారింజ. Listen: నారింజ. Say it with me. Luna: నారింజ. నారింజ. That's got a nice rhythm. Lucas: It does. Now purple is ఊదా. Say it. Luna: ఊదా. ఊదా. Kind of sounds like 'oodaa'. Lucas: Exactly. And brown is గోధుమ. Repeat after me. Luna: గోధుమ. గోధుమ. That one's a little longer. Gotta practice it. Lucas: You've got it. Now let's use them in a full sentence. To say 'This is orange', you say 'ఇది నారింజ రంగు'. Repeat. Luna: ఇది నారింజ రంగు. So 'రంగు' means color. Lucas: Right. And 'this is purple' is 'ఇది ఊదా రంగు'. Luna: ఇది ఊదా రంగు. Got it. Lucas: And 'this is brown' is 'ఇది గోధుమ రంగు'. Luna: ఇది గోధుమ రంగు. Okay, I'm going to need to practice these a bunch. Lucas: That's the point. Let's try a little scene. Imagine you're at a market and you see an orange. You point and say what? Luna: ఇది నారింజ రంగు. Lucas: Perfect. Now you see a purple flower. What do you say? Luna: ఇది ఊదా రంగు. Lucas: Awesome.
