- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome back from the weekend.
- 0:01Speaker 2: Hope you had a great weekend. 106.7 Light FM is on. Cubby, Christine,
- 0:04Speaker 2: and Kristen, we are back together kind of talking about
- 0:07Speaker 2: our weekend. I have 70 pumpkins in the backseat of
- 0:10Speaker 2: my car if you need them.
- 0:11Speaker 3: 70?
- 0:12Speaker 1: 70, yes, but thankfully not the big ones.
- 0:15Speaker 2: We bought Miss Corinne, you know, the daycare director at Miles' Daycare.
- 0:19Speaker 2: She needed 70 pumpkins. They're the small, like, almost like
- 0:23Speaker 2: a little bigger than a softball.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Okay. You know, they're really small. Yeah. And the kids
- 0:27Speaker 1: will use them to paint on them.
- 0:30Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 0:30Speaker 2: And she usually orders some from New Jersey, but we
- 0:33Speaker 2: have that little getaway home in PA. So we were
- 0:35Speaker 2: in Pennsylvania this weekend and they're a lot cheaper there.
- 0:38Speaker 3: Oh, go for it.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Only 55 bucks for 70 little small pumpkins.
- 0:42Speaker 1: That's good. It's a good deal, right?
- 0:44Speaker 2: So they're in the back of the car right now
- 0:46Speaker 2: and I'll take them to Miss Corinne later on today.
- 0:48Speaker 2: But that was my weekend hanging out in PA and
- 0:51Speaker 2: making sure my tire.
- 0:52Speaker 1: Pressure was okay.
- 0:53Speaker 3: Very important right now.
- 0:54Speaker 1: Did you get your ping on your car?
- 0:56Speaker 3: I didn't ping yet, but I also spent around 50
- 1:00Speaker 3: bucks this past weekend.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. So.
- 1:02Speaker 3: And it has to do with tires. Yes.
- 1:05Speaker 1: So you went to a brothel and when you were
- 1:07Speaker 1: driving to the brothel. OK, wait, hang on.
- 1:10Speaker 3: I sort of went to a brothel.
- 1:11Speaker 2: You went to a show involving a brothel, which we'll
- 1:13Speaker 2: get to in a second. But when you pulled in,
- 1:15Speaker 2: the guy noticed you had a flat tire.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:18Speaker 3: So my friend Ann Sayre and I, right, we go
- 1:21Speaker 3: to see shows together all the time. We love it.
- 1:23Speaker 3: So we went to see Memoirs of Amorous Gentlemen, which
- 1:28Speaker 3: is now playing off-Broadway at the Culture Club, which is, yeah,
- 1:32Speaker 3: a story about Colette in a brothel. And it's, you know,
- 1:36Speaker 3: it's really cool, Kevi. You walk in there and you
- 1:38Speaker 3: feel like you're in a brothel.
- 1:40Speaker 1: You had me a brothel.
- 1:41Speaker 3: It's a cool setting.
- 1:42Speaker 1: I'm sold.
- 1:43Speaker 3: It's a great cast, Sophia and Caruso, like really wonderful cast,
- 1:46Speaker 3: really great show. The music is by Duncan Sheik. So
- 1:50Speaker 3: let me just say all that. So, you know, there's
- 1:52Speaker 3: a great show playing off Broadway. But when we pulled
- 1:55Speaker 3: into the parking garage and picked me up, we come
- 1:57Speaker 3: into New York City. They're like, miss, miss, as we're
- 2:00Speaker 3: walking away and we turn around, flat tire.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Well, at least it happened when you got there.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Thankfully, we made it to the parking garage, but flat
- 2:07Speaker 3: like pancake. I'm surprised she wasn't driving on her rim.
- 2:10Speaker 3: We're lucky we were there. So, the guys are discussing
- 2:14Speaker 3: amongst themselves, will they change this tire for us? Will
- 2:17Speaker 3: they offer to change it? And they do, and they're like, $ 50.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Well, okay. That doesn't sound too bad, actually.
- 2:25Speaker 3: They want $ 50 cash.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Because I'm thinking convenience at this point. Yes. Like, they'll
- 2:30Speaker 1: get it done while I'm at the show.
- 2:32Speaker 3: Yes, I know.
- 2:33Speaker 2: I have AAA.
- 2:35Speaker 3: I wanted to call AAA, and she's right. Who knows
- 2:38Speaker 3: how long we would be there.
- 2:39Speaker 1: It could take a while.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Right, and we wanted to get into the show, and
- 2:42Speaker 3: then you just want to get home.
- 2:43Speaker 1: And what if they need you while you're at the show? Oh, yeah,
- 2:46Speaker 1: that's true. Yeah, yeah, you've got to be there.
- 2:48Speaker 3: You've got to be there with them. I happened to
- 2:52Speaker 3: go to the ATM. I had $ 60 cash, which they took.
- 2:55Speaker 3: And then I'm like, can I get change, please?
- 2:58Speaker 1: Getting money for the brothel. Can I please?
- 2:59Speaker 3: Yes, exactly. Can I get that in singles? Which is
- 3:04Speaker 3: not the same thing as singles for a brothel. But
- 3:08Speaker 3: it took a lot for me to just say, to
- 3:10Speaker 3: get the $ 10 back. They really didn't want.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Me to have that. They wanted to pocket the extra $ 10.
- 3:16Speaker 1: The $ 60. Like, yeah, let us just keep it.
- 3:18Speaker 3: And it's like, dude, this is already for me. Kind
- 3:21Speaker 3: of an expensive eating. So they changed it, thankfully, and
- 3:24Speaker 3: got home safely on her donut. Oh. I have to
- 3:27Speaker 3: check with her. I don't know what happened with the
- 3:29Speaker 3: original tire. Because we never just added air or anything
- 3:33Speaker 3: to see how it was.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Right. It might be able to be used again.
- 3:36Speaker 3: Yeah, hopefully.
- 3:36Speaker 1: And maybe they discarded it.
- 3:37Speaker 3: They could save it. So you don't think we got
- 3:40Speaker 3: ripped off? Because I felt like 50 bucks was steep.
- 3:43Speaker 1: I personally don't. Producer Kristen, do you think she got
- 3:46Speaker 1: ripped off? No.
- 3:47Speaker 2: She says no, too. Because, again, it's back to convenience. Like,
- 3:50Speaker 2: they happen to notice it. They said they'll take care
- 3:52Speaker 2: of it. I'd be like, all right, just, you know,
- 3:55Speaker 2: I don't want to worry about it.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Just take care of it. That's what I would think.
- 3:59Speaker 1: But if I was at home in my driveway and
- 4:01Speaker 1: I had time, I'd be like, yeah, AAA and all that.
- 4:04Speaker 1: But did Christine get ripped off? 44363. And check your
- 4:08Speaker 1: tire pressure.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Again, with this cold weather, again, if you had, like, say,
- 4:14Speaker 2: a 42 PSI, it's probably a 36 PSI now.
- 4:17Speaker 1: It goes down in this cold weather.
- 4:18Speaker 2: It heats up a little bit when you're driving, but
- 4:21Speaker 2: there's a higher risk of flat tires with that first
- 4:24Speaker 2: cold burst of the season.
- 4:25Speaker 3: Don't be like Ann and me.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Don't be like Ann and Christine and hit us up
- 4:28Speaker 1: on text. We're available. What are you up to these days?
