- 0:00Very quickly. Quickly and cutting through the
- 0:03red. Type cutting through.
- 0:05I'd love to know different approach with NLP.
- 0:07It's using so many different types.
- 0:11The counselling I work with is I absolutely love the therapy I
- 0:15work with. I work with dialectical
- 0:17behaviour therapy. Wow.
- 0:18So that's a very skills based. What is that?
- 0:21Yeah. The dialectic, the dialectical,
- 0:23it's a really, it's a really amazing therapy, but what it is,
- 0:26is it it the dialectic of some is its opposite.
- 0:30So what we're trying to do is help people move beyond whatever
- 0:35their trigger point is. So say it's anger.
- 0:37Say every time they feel like they've been threatened, they go
- 0:40into an aggressive, impulsive state.
- 0:44Dialectical behavior therapy. The dialect of anger would be,
- 0:48let's say, kindness. Ideally they get there, but the
- 0:52reality is we find something in the middle.
- 0:55It's a synthesis right between anger and kindness.
- 0:58That's how that's how we feel. So it's like a balance, so.
- 1:00It's finding this balance. So the motto is it's a scale.
- 1:04It's like this, this scale, but it's also this idea of building
- 1:07a life worth living. And so DBT is giving you skills.
- 1:11It's it's helping you build an internal locus of control.
- 1:14So not an external one where it's about how others make you
- 1:17feel. Yes, you know how others
- 1:20validate. It's about you validating
- 1:22yourself. And it's again, it's skills
- 1:23based. It's very cognitive, very
- 1:25cerebral. I love some native seebasing.
- 1:27Skills and you're practicing different ways of approaching
- 1:30life and figuring out who you are.
- 1:33NLP though the difference there is that's happening.
- 1:37This what you're doing is you're bypassing the logic and the
- 1:42conscious part of the brain. Welcome to Edge Radio Australia.
- 1:53Absolute pleasure to be here. Really.
- 1:55Very much like the thorn between a couple of absolutely gorgeous
- 1:59roses. Really do.
- 2:00It's not a good feeling, OK? It's not good for myself,
- 2:02esteem. Sorry.
- 2:03You might get prickled. People have called me similar.
- 2:09I'm going to throw obviously straight to the introductions,
- 2:11but of course this is the genius sign.
- 2:14We have a couple of geniuses here, somebody here shoot kind
- 2:17of in the middle who's pretty keen to become one one day, you
- 2:20know, working on it. You know, work in progress is
- 2:22great. Yeah.
- 2:23So Terry, would you like to do the interest?
- 2:25You love being humble. Humble.
- 2:27You are humble. I must say that is one of your
- 2:30attributes. Thank you.
- 2:32Thank you for the introduction. And let's kick off about, you
- 2:36know, what this show is gonna be all about.
- 2:39Yes, and it is going to be on the topic of neuro linguistic
- 2:43programming and over here to errands, right?
- 2:47Is that right or is it left? Yeah, OK.
- 2:49No to errands, right. We have the beautiful Eloisa
- 2:54now. Eloisa, you are a counsellor.
- 2:56Yes, you also have a honours in psychology.
- 3:00I do, yes. And you are now adding to your
- 3:04toolkit. I am with a neuro linguistic
- 3:06programming indeed. And you know you had a bit of an
- 3:10experience. So firstly, let's can I ask you
- 3:13a question and then I'm gonna let you us questions and I
- 3:17believe Aaron's gonna have questions as well.
- 3:19Amazing because. We've got quite a few that have
- 3:21come in about the power of NLP, yeah.
- 3:24So what made you become a counsellor in the beginning?
- 3:28Was there an element around your own personal journey?
- 3:34Very interesting. I mean, look, I, I, it
- 3:37definitely, definitely comes in, in the process of learning how
- 3:40to become a counsellor. I, I think, well, I started with
- 3:46psychology. So I started, I started that
- 3:50degree and it was proving to be very difficult.
- 3:53So I did it for a year, stopped that.
- 3:56And then I started working in the industry at the mental
- 4:00health Association. And then I started working with
- 4:03different policy makers and different kind of organizations
- 4:07were in there as well, just working through, you know,
- 4:10consumer health, you know, different initiatives and mental
- 4:13health. And then I because I was working
- 4:15with people, I think I just realized I'm pretty good at
- 4:18connecting and having, yeah, this kind of non judgmental
- 4:24space and so. You found your.
- 4:26Genius zone. I think I just found the genius
- 4:28zone that way. I don't.
- 4:29Know all right shows I've that that's all we need to know.
- 4:32That was it. Yeah, so like the IT wasn't so
- 4:37much about my story that made me want to become a counsellor.
- 4:41I was more realising that there was something that I was able to
- 4:46do and I then was, I had this mentor at the time and he
- 4:51suggested that I start the counselling degree.
- 4:55So I. Did a good mentor is so
- 4:57incredible, right? It changes your life.
- 4:58Yeah, he was. He did.
- 5:00He wasn't even a mentor per SE. He was a, he worked in a in a
- 5:05recruitment company. So I actually found him through
- 5:09that process and then he. Would normally never take advice
- 5:11from HR, alright. Fine, OK, I.
- 5:13Know. He, I know, well, he was
- 5:15probably just a special one out of the out of the bunch.
- 5:18I think I saw how I was working and he got me that job.
- 5:21Yeah. And then it was just he just
- 5:22kept following the the journey with me.
- 5:25And then he was like, you, you need to do this.
- 5:26Oh. That's so good.
- 5:27So that's how I think as a counsellor and obviously having
- 5:31an honours and go you that's absolutely phenomenal.
- 5:35I remember my husband, my late husband Ian said if any our kids
- 5:39come home and announce after they leave school that they're
- 5:43going to study psychology, let's duck for cover because he had a
- 5:47theory. I have the same theory.
- 5:50Yeah, looks like that. Yeah.
- 5:52Ugly. Yeah.
- 5:52And. Now that you're saying?
- 5:54His son, his youngest son, come home and said, I've decided what
- 5:57I'm gonna study psychology. We both look at each other.
- 6:01Failed as parents. No, just joking.
- 6:03No, but it's interesting how I mean, what perfect family is
- 6:08there this they say. Doesn't exist.
- 6:10There's. No way that people any parent,
- 6:13even the best and the best of parents are going to make
- 6:16mistakes yes but interestingly, you now are learning the art of
- 6:22NLP yes. How are you finding that as
- 6:24opposed to counselling? Let's.
- 6:27Yeah. Well, I I think there's a very
- 6:29different approach with NLP. It's using metaphysical energy.
- 6:34So it's not so direct, it's using the subconscious.
- 6:38And because of that process, it's subtle.
- 6:41And it's not about just speaking to the clients and, you know,
- 6:45asking open-ended questions. It's visualizing, it's going
- 6:50into the it's retrieving information in a very, very
- 6:53different way. Yeah.
- 6:55And that's what's drawing me to it because I think there's so
- 6:58much creativity that we don't use so much of our imagination
- 7:01that we just, we, we don't work with and we just kind of get so
- 7:06stuck in these little constructs that have happened through life.
- 7:09But NLP unlocks that and it moves it away and it brings us
- 7:14closer to this actual reality that we're in.
- 7:18So yeah, it's through. It breaks.
- 7:20It breaks through many of those. Yeah, yeah.
- 7:23Limiting beliefs, yes. And I believe that we've got
- 7:27some questions. Do you do?
- 7:28Do you want to go straight to? Questions.
- 7:29Let's get together. We just get to know each other.
- 7:33No, no time for that. Let's go.
- 7:36Here's the boss. What class?
- 7:37Let's go, let's go. Have a look at what we've got on
- 7:40the screen here. So here we go.
- 7:42What happens to the brain at a subconscious level in NLP as
- 7:45opposed to level in counselling? OK, so this is a question for
- 7:49both of us, so I'm going to answer it.
- 7:52Sneaky person has not put their name on it.
- 7:55A ANLP. I'll answer it from an NLP point
- 7:59of view. Amazing.
- 8:00And you can kick off by, you know, saying how counselling is
- 8:05more at a conscious. Level, yes, Yeah, OK.
- 8:08So how would you say so? Is it more talk therapy with
- 8:12counselling? Yeah.
- 8:13So I mean, counselling has so many different types types.
- 8:17The counselling I work with is I, I mean, I'm, I absolutely
- 8:21love the therapy I work with. I work with dialectical
- 8:24behaviour therapy. Wow.
- 8:25So that's a very skills based. What is that?
- 8:28Yeah. The dialectic, the dialectic,
- 8:31it's a, it's a really, it's a really amazing therapy.
- 8:33But what it is, is it it the dialectic of something is its
- 8:37opposite. So what we're trying to do is
- 8:40help people move beyond whatever their trigger point is.
- 8:45So say, you know, it's anger. Say every time they feel like
- 8:48they've been threatened, they go into an aggressive, you know,
- 8:53impulsive state. So dialectical behavior therapy,
- 8:56the dialect of anger would be, let's say, kindness.
- 9:01Ideally they get there, but the reality is we find something in
- 9:05the middle. It's a synthesis, right, between
- 9:08anger and kindness. That's how that's kind of how we
- 9:10feel. So it's like a balance, so.
- 9:11It's finding this balance. So the, the motto is like, it's
- 9:14a scale. It's like this, this scale, but
- 9:17it's also this idea of building a life worth living.
- 9:20And so DBT is giving you skills. It's it's helping you build an
- 9:25internal locus of control. So not an external one where
- 9:28it's about how others make you feel.
- 9:29You know how others validate? It's about you validating
- 9:34yourself. But it's, again, it's skills
- 9:36based. It's very cognitive, very
- 9:37cerebral. I love so native cbti think
- 9:42that. Yes.
- 9:42So it comes from CBT, but then it brings in mindfulness.
- 9:45So it brings in Buddhism and that's that's what dialectical
- 9:48that's what the whole idea. So it's using this very like non
- 9:51attachment intentional focus. But in saying that, does it tap
- 9:57into the subconscious? Perhaps over time it does
- 10:01because you're practicing skills and you're practicing different
- 10:03ways of approaching life and figuring out who you are.
- 10:07NLP, though, the difference there is that's happening very,
- 10:12very quickly. Quickly.
- 10:14And cutting through the red type, cutting through.
- 10:18So I'd love to know about the difference here.
- 10:21We love it. So give it to us.
- 10:24So give it to it like so when I used to be saying, I think it
- 10:29was from the founders of NLP that Bandler had a black belt in
- 10:34gestalt therapy. And just to give you an idea.
- 10:38So yeah, when you have a black belt in gestalt therapy, you can
- 10:41whip the heck out of something, get rid of it, annihilate it.
- 10:45However the persons got to be willing and willing to say yes,
- 10:51I'm going to do that. And with the subconscious, what
- 10:55you're doing is you're bypassing the the logic and the conscious
- 11:00part of the brain, because if the conscious part of the brain
- 11:05is active, there'll be judgement.
- 11:08So they'll be judging, they'll be looking, and they'll be
- 11:12looking for issues. So one of the things we teach in
- 11:16NLP is the Milton model. Now the Milton model is
- 11:20formulated by Milton Ericsson and he was the greatest
- 11:24hypnotherapist in the world. I thought he made mobile phones.
- 11:28Oh, OK. No, it sounds a bit like that,
- 11:31doesn't it? So, you know, with the Yeah.
- 11:35So the Milton model actually teaches you how to bypass that
- 11:41part of the brain so that the person can begin to go deep into
- 11:46their their subconscious. And really, you know what the
- 11:49subconscious is? It's your imagination, so
- 11:52whatever you have in your imagination is a reality.
- 11:56Like, have you ever had a dream? Many.
- 11:58OK, have you, have you ever had a dream?
- 12:00And it was so vivid. My my daughter had a dream the
- 12:03other night, so vivid she dreamt I died.
- 12:07Now, she hadn't seen me for a long time.
- 12:09She she it was and she rang me up and she said, mom, I've got
- 12:13to see you. And I'm like, Hallelujah, like
- 12:15what's happened here. She had a dream, so that is the
- 12:20subconscious inaction. So when the person wakes from a
- 12:25dream, they have actually gone out and experienced it, so they
- 12:30feel what they feel, so they have gone through.
- 12:34And I know that in some counselling rings, I remember
- 12:39there was a pastor who was trying to bring a couple back
- 12:42together again, who's their marriage had broken down and he
- 12:46tried it on with you're gonna have a dream.
- 12:49And that dream is you're gonna remember what it was like when
- 12:52you first met, and it's going to reawaken that element of how you
- 12:57felt with each other and you know, all of those elements.
- 13:01So you know it is really the element of bypassing that would
- 13:06be the answer. To moving your own timeline,
- 13:09yes. Yeah, yeah.
- 13:10But do you have any question around that, that might go
- 13:14deeper? Well, I mean, in that from my
- 13:18experience, when so Terry and I are training and I'm getting to
- 13:22really understand it and learning these different
- 13:26techniques and the technique of seeing the timeline in front of
- 13:33of you. And then being able to
- 13:37physically, like, I mean it's physically in the imagination
- 13:41shifted by moving it behind and then developing this clarity
- 13:48like that happened when you took me through that in a matter of
- 13:52moments, seconds. Seconds.
- 13:53Absolutely. I was there, so yes, I saw you.
- 13:56Were a witness. Yeah, yeah.
- 13:57And it was amazing. Honestly, I I haven't seen the
- 14:01NLP done that way in front of me before.
- 14:03It's the imagination. And you just clicked, didn't
- 14:06you? It was a massive shift.
- 14:07Yeah, they say that all problems are problems of imagination.
- 14:11So are solutions. OK, there you go.
- 14:13Can I come in with a question here about this?
- 14:15Yeah, and I don't know who to face on this one.
- 14:16Because OK. Right.
- 14:18You're talking about dreams earlier, right?
- 14:20And and we're talking about timelines.
- 14:22So when I was younger, my dreams, I would my dreams used
- 14:26to be like a Hollywood movie in as much as the dream is doing
- 14:29its thing, as every dream does, I guess.
- 14:32But then if something didn't work out like OK, and there was
- 14:35a a timeline issue, there was something that just didn't
- 14:37click, I'll go woo woo, woo woo woo.
- 14:39And I would step in and I would. Stop the dream.
- 14:41Yeah, I. Would stop the dream.
- 14:42The film would stop, OK, And I go, no, no, no, we have to move
- 14:45this. We could change this.
- 14:46OK, You'd be the. Producer of your own.
- 14:49Restart of. The own dream, yeah.
- 14:52Ohh my gosh, that is powerful. And it was a big part of my life
- 14:55for a long time. That says a lot about you.
- 14:58Aaron stopped in my 20s. Oh, yeah, that I believe.
- 15:02Like I love interpreting dreams. I absolutely love it.
- 15:06And right there is an illustration of who you are at
- 15:10your core, control freak at your, you know, no, but you, you
- 15:14are a producer, you are a director.
- 15:17And you know, the fact that you're living that out in
- 15:20dreams, it's just showing your natural element.
- 15:24Sometimes it's not about negativity, like that's not
- 15:27always a negative thing that you know where you can take control,
- 15:31but that's. Very interesting.
- 15:33Interesting that it stopped in your 20s.
- 15:36Yes, You know, there was some something that happened in your
- 15:39maybe in your conscious mind that.
- 15:43Well, I felt like it. Wasn't able to do that.
- 15:45Anymore. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 15:46So I mean, I know a lot of people know my story in some
- 15:50ways, you know, but yeah, I mean, I got married in my 20s,
- 15:53OK, And I became a dad in my 20s and then my my life changed a
- 15:56lot. I mean, I went from being a
- 15:58professional rally driver of having that kind of very.
- 16:01OK, now I get it. Yeah, you know, you get it.
- 16:04Yeah, yeah, yeah. But that was my world, like
- 16:07going fast and and and that entire the energy of all that
- 16:10world was my world. OK, And I lived fast.
- 16:13Yep. And then everything changed and
- 16:16I had to become responsible and the dad make sure that you know,
- 16:19that the the money was consistent and all those sort of
- 16:21things, right? No time to use the imagination.
- 16:24No, Yeah, he's just had to stay in reality and just keep that.
- 16:27And and you keep that cars. Driving that car.
- 16:29Yeah. And not only that, but you kind
- 16:32of like control goes out the window anyway.
- 16:35Yeah, because with children and that you just can't predict.
- 16:39What happened next? Yeah, you know, and each child,
- 16:42you have three children, like I had three very different
- 16:45children. You've got to treat them all
- 16:47differently. You can.
- 16:48I mean you can try to be regimental.
- 16:49But I think you are so OK as a father who has work several
- 16:54daughters. Daughters are different to sons.
- 16:56So daughters you must in your head when you give them a
- 16:59cuddle, you have to count in your head to make sure everybody
- 17:01gets the same amount of cuddles. Otherwise, the politics is.
- 17:04Incredible. Oh my gosh, the.
- 17:07Boys do not care. No one second they were they're
- 17:09on. But that's a lot of brain power
- 17:11and this is the whole thing. And I think this is like what
- 17:13happens in adulthood where you have more responsibilities,
- 17:17keeps on, you know, packing on. And then what have we really
- 17:21got? Like we don't really have much
- 17:22surplus of creativity and imagination.
- 17:24And I think that's the difference like when it comes
- 17:26into because IA lot of my clients come with come to me
- 17:30when they're burnt out, right? They've used, they've exhausted
- 17:33everything that they've got in there.
- 17:35What? Shouldn't we do that?
- 17:36Why? Why do we wait till it's broken
- 17:38before we like? Yeah.
- 17:39That's a very good point. That's a very good point.
- 17:41Before it hits the we hit the wall.
- 17:42It's just a fact, isn't it? But the.
- 17:44But a really interesting thing is like when NLP comes into it,
- 17:48it's like this idea of resetting that, yeah.
- 17:51So whatever is happening, NLP gives you that capacity to shift
- 17:57what's taking up all of that space.
- 17:58So you can essentially you can start again, yeah.
- 18:02I wanna hear more. OK, so when we sat on the chair
- 18:05together, yeah, as you know, the first question I asked is what
- 18:10is it that you truly want? Now, you would know this as a
- 18:13counsellor. When people come in, whoever
- 18:16says, oh, I want to be rich, I want to have a great
- 18:19relationship, I want my whole world to be great.
- 18:22Nobody says that. Everybody says I want to quit
- 18:24this addiction. I want to stop overeating.
- 18:27I want to, you know, get rid of this relationship.
- 18:30You know they're always saying. Oh, my bad habits.
- 18:32Go, go, go. Yeah, yeah.
- 18:33People are talking about, you know, I want to stop the
- 18:36anxiety. I want to stop the sleeplessness
- 18:38or the exhaustion. They're talking about that.
- 18:41But the first question was we asked you is what is it that you
- 18:45want? Now once you answered that
- 18:48right, you did you notice that when I asked you why you wanted
- 18:56what you wanted, you answered with what you didn't want?
- 19:02Yes. I missed that completely.
- 19:05And yes, she did. Yes.
- 19:07And I made a bit of fun of you if you can remember, because you
- 19:12know, I won't like break any confidentialities.
- 19:15But like when I have people come and sit in the chair, I don't
- 19:18want to be depressed anymore. I want to stop being exhausted.
- 19:20I've got it, I've got it. You want to be depressed and
- 19:24exhausted. That is not what I said, but I
- 19:28said, but I asked you what you wanted, not what you didn't
- 19:30want. But see, this is what happened.
- 19:33This is the human nature. So do you remember that, that
- 19:36you told me what you didn't? Yes, yes.
- 19:39Now, what you don't want, if we go deeper, is an element of OK,
- 19:46you're fighting against that. You don't want it, and the more
- 19:50you don't want it, the more you attract.
- 19:51It yes, yes. You know what I mean yes yes
- 19:53it's it's like it just keeps coming back to haunt you.
- 19:56But then when you, because a part of the art is really being
- 20:01able to elicit with people what, you know, encourage them to say
- 20:06what they do want. So OK, what will it feel when
- 20:09you do have that? So if you say I want to be
- 20:13empowered, I want to have a great job and I want to have
- 20:15really a really good relationship, what's it going to
- 20:18feel like? Because it's the energy around
- 20:21it. And This is why we've got to be
- 20:22careful what we wish for. Because if we say I want that
- 20:26person over there, I want that particular man or I want that
- 20:29particular woman, they may not align in reality like we're
- 20:34talking backstage. They're often psychos.
- 20:36Yeah, you know, they could be a psycho.
- 20:38It could be impostersy. But that's true, and I.
- 20:41Mean that's a really radical. But that comes back to
- 20:44judgement. That comes back to judgement.
- 20:46Yeah, You are judging that person.
- 20:48This is what we do. We are judgmental.
- 20:49Yes. The ego might want something
- 20:51very different to the soul. Yeah, that is.
- 20:54Incredibly. True.
- 20:55It's so. It is so true.
- 20:58And it, if you energetically want something, you might think
- 21:02you want that person, but the universe and the soul, as you
- 21:06say, knows whether that's an energetic match.
- 21:10So that's why it's really important to go, you know, like,
- 21:15what's it going to be like? What's that going to look like?
- 21:17What's that going to feel like? But then you've got to hearts,
- 21:22haven't you? 2 truths you've got, you've got
- 21:25the reality of what is holding you back and what's sabotaging
- 21:30your actual relationship or whatever it is that you want.
- 21:35But then you've got the want and the desire for it.
- 21:38They both actually want the same thing.
- 21:41So that's where we integrate it. So the integration comes through
- 21:46logic, interestingly enough, and subconscious subconsciously we
- 21:52are acting. This is the elements of our
- 21:55saboteur that's coming out of the subconscious.
- 21:59The logic is saying, but I want to be good.
- 22:02I want to be trim, I want to be rich.
- 22:04I want to, you know, I feel like I'm hearing that song in my head
- 22:07now. But you know, I want, I want
- 22:09this, sure, that's logical. But talk to the hand.
- 22:12Literally talk to the hand because it's not an energetic
- 22:16match. So that's when you do talk to
- 22:18the hand and that's all about, it's actually one of the hardest
- 22:24techniques to train parts integration.
- 22:28Yes. So we did a little bit of that.
- 22:30We did a lot of. And the workshop was, it was so
- 22:33powerful to realize these, yeah, these, these, these parts that
- 22:38we have. And they're both attainable,
- 22:40they're both accessible. But it's interesting that we go
- 22:45to the one that you know, the one that we're the pathway that
- 22:47we're so familiar with, even if it's, as Terry says, the longer
- 22:52route to go, to go down, even if it's harder to get through and
- 22:56there's more detours and there's we still keep going to that one.
- 22:59We. Still want the same thing.
- 23:01So we both want the same thing, yes.
- 23:03Still wanting this one knows how to get there fast.
- 23:05Exactly. And we're not judging that one.
- 23:08No, that's the biggest thing. So you're almost representing
- 23:12and advocating like I've had a lot of people say to me recently
- 23:16around me very close by to me saying why do you do what you're
- 23:19doing? You know, like you know, you
- 23:20should be an advocate like an actual proper one because of our
- 23:24where, but that is where that but in actual fact, I am
- 23:31advocating with the person's subconscious brain.
- 23:35So I advocate for the shadow. So you get your people to talk
- 23:40to their people, but if they haven't?
- 23:41Got well, it's negotiating, isn't it really?
- 23:43It? It's it's not about, you know,
- 23:45judging the shadow. It's not about going, oh, you
- 23:48know, you're bad because you overeat or you drink too much
- 23:52alcohol or you, you know, you always choose the wrong
- 23:55relationships. It's not about that.
- 23:57It's about understanding, learning.
- 24:01I can hear something wanting to pop out of your mouth there.
- 24:03So interesting. I was, so I was raised a
- 24:08Catholic. My dad is, was rest in heaven.
- 24:12He's up there. But he was a Catholic and mum
- 24:15wasn't. So I, we, my siblings and I went
- 24:17through schooling and had, you know, went through our
- 24:20confirmation. But then when we kind of got out
- 24:22of school, we just went down our own paths, right.
- 24:25So I kind of went down more of a spirituality, Buddhism, a path.
- 24:29However, my mom, she loves Jesus and she's, you know, very much
- 24:36connected to God and, and having faith.
- 24:39And she said to me today, she just said, isn't about, it's
- 24:44not, you know, being connected to this higher power, this
- 24:48higher spirituality that lives within us isn't about just being
- 24:51a good person and doing good things.
- 24:53It's about actually having a relationship with God.
- 24:56Yeah. And so in a similar way, it's
- 24:58like having this relationship with the shadow.
- 25:01It's like having a relationship where the shadow feels like
- 25:05this, you know, this part of us. And in IFS Internal Family
- 25:10Systems, which is another one of the therapies I work with, we
- 25:13call it the Exiles. So it's the part within us
- 25:16that's wounded, that wants to be seen but doesn't, you know?
- 25:20How has been exiled? Has been exiled and then we it
- 25:23it moves into either like a managing position or it goes
- 25:26into a firefighting position. But the core self is what's in
- 25:30the middle. And so the building, the
- 25:33relationship. And that's like what you're
- 25:34really saying there. It's like it's not about because
- 25:37the ego obviously wants to shut it down, suppress it.
- 25:41And like you just said, you know, resisting that.
- 25:44That's really good keeps. Bringing it.
- 25:46Because I'm, I'm hearing the, because I'm very hyper vigilant,
- 25:49yes. And that apparently comes from,
- 25:52you know, part of my past and my history.
- 25:56And maybe I can work on that. But the fact is that the, the
- 26:02hyper vigilance and all of that has, it's not actually a good
- 26:07thing, but it serves a purpose. And we've got to look at what
- 26:11that purpose is to serve. And I love how you've said that
- 26:15because that's really typically in the line of counselling and
- 26:20how it would be different in the NLP world is we would go back to
- 26:26the trauma. And you mentioned before about
- 26:29the timeline therapy and how that shifted things in moments
- 26:33because the way our imagination positions things.
- 26:36So if you position everything on top of you and you've got, oh,
- 26:40I've got all this stuff to do. And instead of being in the
- 26:43present, Eckhart Tolle, the The Power of now, that's a really
- 26:48good book. You're living in the future.
- 26:52And I was talking about this. My late husband was the most
- 26:58present, I say more present than Eckhart Tolle.
- 27:01Wow. And it used to drive me nuts.
- 27:04It used to. It did.
- 27:06Because it did. Because he was, he, I mean, he
- 27:10would slow me down all the time. He'd slow, you know, his
- 27:13favorite words were schwei, schwei in Arabic.
- 27:17That's slowly, slowly, because I was like a bull in a China shop.
- 27:20So I'd be like, I'd be wanting to drag him into the future and
- 27:23he'd be trying to bring me back. Yeah, I'd say to he'd say, can I
- 27:27have a kiss? I'm like, no, not now.
- 27:28He goes, well, how about now? So that's that's president.
- 27:31That's kind of how president he was.
- 27:34That's so. So what happens is.
- 27:36I'm living like my son for example, and I gave this
- 27:39example. I quite often talk about this in
- 27:42workshops because, you know, timelining is really about
- 27:46bending time because most of the problems we have in the world is
- 27:51around time and money people haven't got enough of.
- 27:54It. Yeah, well, it's a balance.
- 27:55That's what we're always finding.
- 27:56Yeah. So my stepson, for example, is
- 28:01like his father, so he lives inside of time.
- 28:05So my son, my biological son, is more like me.
- 28:10He's a destination person. So he's more, it's got that
- 28:14that's gotta happen. That's gotta happen and he's
- 28:16living in the future now. Sometimes his brother will drive
- 28:21him nuts because he perceives him not to be on time enough or
- 28:27timely enough. Do you hear what I'm saying?
- 28:30But in actual fact, after studying the NLP timeline, I
- 28:34discovered something extremely interesting.
- 28:38My son, who seems like the vigilant one, the you know, one
- 28:43that's going to be on time and great with time is actually not,
- 28:46is that right? It's actually the stepson.
- 28:48He has a more of affinity with time because when you are in,
- 28:54and you'd know this from rally driving, when you are in your
- 28:58space of time, in your zone of genius, you are there.
- 29:03You are behind the wheel. Yeah, I'll use this example,
- 29:06right. Railing, OK, motorsport, but
- 29:09particularly railing. It's it's a case of you're going
- 29:12very, very fast, obviously, and you're very is there a lot of
- 29:15danger, yada, yada, yada. Everything is slow.
- 29:17If you're doing things properly, everything is slow.
- 29:20I'm in that corner waiting, waiting, waiting for that apex.
- 29:23So feeding in the power really, really slowly.
- 29:25Everything I slow it all down. And you, you get into a world
- 29:29where everything else disappears.
- 29:30Just this becomes your world, the notes coming in from your Co
- 29:33driver, but you, the car disappears.
- 29:37Everything disappears, you just become one.
- 29:39Become one. You do, but the slowness is the
- 29:41difference, yes. It's, it's also what happens.
- 29:43Like I have a friend, he's, he's a pilot and he, he would say,
- 29:47you know, their training would, would be in the case of an
- 29:50emergency. Yeah.
- 29:51You always count to 10. You give 10 seconds even in the
- 29:55and that present moment with whatever's crashing, whatever
- 29:59lights are going off, 10 seconds.
- 30:02Yeah. Changes, changes every bit of
- 30:04that. Did you guys watch?
- 30:05The movie Flight. I know I've told this on one of
- 30:08ours before the well, I mean, it was an illicit drug, so wipe
- 30:12that out. But let's just pretend it was
- 30:14the subconscious brain and what Aaron said about bending time
- 30:18being at one with the car. So you become the vehicle, you
- 30:22become the air, you breathe, you become that real present tense.
- 30:26So they were going into an uncontrolled nosedive and he'd
- 30:31done some stuff that expanded his brain, so he bought time.
- 30:36So he was able to flip the plane and have the presence of mind to
- 30:41turn it upside down and and land it so that the way it was done
- 30:47very sophisticatedly. Only a person in complete
- 30:53presence could do that. I have a little saying again how
- 30:58many sayings I live by, but the in radio you can get a lot done
- 31:01in 13 seconds. Oh.
- 31:02Yeah, yeah, OK. Yeah, people panic.
- 31:04And then you look at that and you see the time clicking down.
- 31:06You think I've got to do that? Yeah.
- 31:07Guess what? No, it's an absolute breeze.
- 31:09Yeah. I get you now.
- 31:10Yeah, I get you. Now, but it's that focused, it's
- 31:13that that level of focus. And I think that's like really a
- 31:16huge thing with NLP that I'm so interested in even understanding
- 31:21on that, on that deeper level that it gives you that in
- 31:26present moment focus that we don't get.
- 31:30We don't get, especially now with how much oh man, is
- 31:34happening in a day, how much, how time is moving.
- 31:37Yeah, the way it is now. So you'll get this, our viewers
- 31:41may not listen, hang with us, come on with us.
- 31:45But if you, because I asked you to allocate your timeline, you
- 31:52were able to discern by my questions that the way you were
- 31:56doing time is your past was over to your left and your future was
- 32:00over to your right. But it was kindness of a
- 32:03semicircle. So it was telling me that you
- 32:07were slightly blocked. So when you shifted it so that
- 32:12like the, it's like the hands of a clock, you're kind of shifting
- 32:16it. So you're putting and you made
- 32:18the decision. By the way, I said, let's just
- 32:20try it out and play with it. And we put the past in the past,
- 32:25Click locked it in and bought the future into the future,
- 32:30locked that in, and you went, oh, that feels so much better,
- 32:35right? Yeah, So what do you think it
- 32:38is, Terry, that stops? Why haven't we just as a
- 32:43species, you know, in this evolution where we are now, why
- 32:46haven't we learnt these skills? Why?
- 32:48Why aren't we doing this? You're.
- 32:50Not answering the question 50. $4 million question.
- 32:54Yeah, it's just. You've gone.
- 32:55Up. No, no, you don't.
- 32:56You go first. No, I, I actually don't think
- 32:58that we're evolving. I think we're devolving, Yeah.
- 33:00I think we're going back. Seriously.
- 33:03Yes. Yeah, you said about the
- 33:04information before, right? So, OK, so 200 years ago,
- 33:07actually less than that 200, we'll call it 180 years ago, the
- 33:11entire information that a person would take in their daily life,
- 33:14okay, in their entire life would fit on 2 pages of the newspaper.
- 33:19All right? That's everything, all the
- 33:21skills they needed, everything that for their everyday life.
- 33:24Look at our lives, look at information.
- 33:26Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang.
- 33:27Here it comes now, OK, in 180 odd years, 200 years, has the
- 33:32brain evolved? No, it hasn't.
- 33:33It's the exact same thing. So I think in a lot of ways I
- 33:37was trying to process that much information.
- 33:39I think in a lot of ways we've gone the cheat code, we've gone
- 33:41the lazy code, we've gone, Hey, we live in a world.
- 33:44Hey, AI will do it. I'll you know, we do that with
- 33:47so much of our and I think a lot of you know, I'll use AI as the
- 33:50example here. I think we AIA lot of our
- 33:53relationships, I think we autopilot for what we better
- 33:56work, right? Yeah, We don't actually think
- 33:58and slow it down and think about it.
- 34:00And it can be definitely misused.
- 34:02And I think if people are out there using AI for their
- 34:06intellectual intelligence, they're going to be in Peru Chop
- 34:09because AI, it's input. Yeah, good.
- 34:13It's what? You put in, that's what you get
- 34:15out. But when you get all of this
- 34:17fake stuff. But I digress.
- 34:19And you know, one of my biggest clients that came into workshops
- 34:26for training and practitioners were school teachers.
- 34:30So we'll come back to your question.
- 34:32They recognized that if students could learn how to learn.
- 34:38So we know that the brain, for example, and this is something
- 34:42you will learn on the foundation on the ground, is based on the
- 34:46six senses. But the three main senses are
- 34:50visual, which is what you see, hearing what you hear, and
- 34:54kinesthetic what you feel. So based on those three people
- 34:58learn differently. So you might get a child in a
- 35:00classroom that will be very good when the teacher is standing up,
- 35:04pacing up and down the room, riding on the whiteboard,
- 35:08they'll see that they'll learn their visual.
- 35:12Then you'll get a child in the class who's audio.
- 35:14So they they need to hear more than they see.
- 35:17You've lost them and then you've got the child that's
- 35:21kinesthetic. They need hands on and they
- 35:24need. So usually people crossover.
- 35:27So for example, I am visual and kinesthetic.
- 35:31So in my way of learning, I will learn better by looking.
- 35:36And that's why when I'm doing radio, it's like, OK, I need to
- 35:40see what you're doing. And I like to watch and then I
- 35:44like to do it at the same time while I'm so I like to practice
- 35:48it. So if I'm practicing and I'm
- 35:51saying, and so many kids, they will fall behind in the
- 35:55classroom and so many kids and we know this are suffering and
- 36:00there's so many teenagers that are suiciding.
- 36:03And if parents, teachers and every everyone answering your
- 36:10question knew this, if this was taught in schools, I believe,
- 36:15and I say this very biasedly, we would be in a very different
- 36:19world. Well, have some bias, it's OK.
- 36:22What we can do is we can jump to another question if we may.
- 36:24So let's bring it up on the old screen.
- 36:26Is it common that after I did NLP workshop that I sensed shift
- 36:31in how people treated me? I'm gonna ask you this question,
- 36:34OK? Did you have, did you?
- 36:37Can you relate to that? You don't have to be specific if
- 36:40you don't want to for privacy reasons.
- 36:42No. Can you relate to?
- 36:44That I can absolutely, absolutely relate to that.
- 36:46OK. And it was, I was almost going
- 36:48to call you Terry and just I'm just explained.
- 36:52Mm hmm. Directly after the workshop,
- 36:54what happened, which was really interesting because we always
- 37:00have an option as to how we handle that, those interactions.
- 37:03And, you know, I think there's always a taking a, you know,
- 37:08moral, higher moral ground when it when you know you are
- 37:14presented with something negative.
- 37:16But what it actually brought out in me was more of an assertive,
- 37:23honest response. And So what that was about was
- 37:28like I, I felt like after the workshop, I had this level of
- 37:32confidence and this level of being in the present.
- 37:37It made it cleared up a lot of space and just I was able to,
- 37:40you know, sometimes I've noticed in the past I've, I've, I wear
- 37:43the Rose colored lenses and kind of see what I want to see, which
- 37:46is, yeah, maybe the best of every situation.
- 37:48Sometimes. So they they, they were just
- 37:52off. You know, yeah, I felt like they
- 37:54came off, came off and they're still off, which is quite
- 37:57interesting. Yeah.
- 37:58Look, you what you're saying is exactly what a few of the other
- 38:02people have said. Yeah.
- 38:03One lady said, Oh, my gosh, Terry, it's like my voice is
- 38:07coming out. Yes, I'm speaking.
- 38:09I'm speaking my truth. And, you know, she works fly in,
- 38:13fly out. And she is a leader.
- 38:14Yeah. And she said the whole crew
- 38:18treated me differently, right. Did they go to your workshop,
- 38:21too? And I went, no, like, I've
- 38:23actually that was a joke. But I have been asked.
- 38:25Question though, OK, did they treat her differently or was the
- 38:28perception different? Is it?
- 38:30That's a beautiful question. Wow, that is brilliant.
- 38:34I. Have these thoughts?
- 38:35You know what now is a is a but yes, is is a bright cookie.
- 38:40This one. Do you know what that is so
- 38:43good. I'm gonna have to really, really
- 38:45study that because, you know, my husband, my late husband said
- 38:50once that, you know, he had sent one of his patients to see me
- 38:55and when she'd done the work with me, she went back to him to
- 39:00have a treatment. And he said it was like there
- 39:03was a different girl on the table.
- 39:04She didn't, her body had changed, so her whole nervous
- 39:09system had shifted. And she said, did my mum and
- 39:13sister come in and do the course with Terry?
- 39:16And it's because there, it's energetic.
- 39:20I don't know the. And so I think what you've got,
- 39:23what you've said is brilliant because it kind of alludes to
- 39:26the fact that it's perception, because if you see things in a
- 39:31different perception, it does change and shift the way you
- 39:35feel because that's what the art of NLP.
- 39:38So I think you've you've got a good point.
- 39:40So, so with that then, because you know, our perception, like
- 39:45what I was mentioning with the Rose colored lenses and what
- 39:47that might then mean in terms of how I, I express myself in the
- 39:51world or how I relate to the world.
- 39:52If I've got these tinted glasses on, my perception will be
- 39:58skewed. So when they're off and I'm in
- 40:00that space of just reality as it is, it's still a perception that
- 40:05I'm experiencing of the reality. I, I, I don't think I could say
- 40:08no. It's reality for the story or
- 40:10having our own unique experience but with NLP.
- 40:15Once we realise OK, so this is and this is also actually with
- 40:19DBT, it also helps you experience one of the one of the
- 40:23foundations of of it is experiencing reality as it is
- 40:27not the reality that we want to see.
- 40:28So NLP and DBT together I think is a very, very powerful yes
- 40:34combo of therapy, but. This is going to be unstoppable.
- 40:39Look at. So, but what I want to know is
- 40:42like when you then are in this state of consciousness, this
- 40:46pure consciousness because you've shifted everything behind
- 40:49you. Yeah.
- 40:51Is it then? That's a good point.
- 40:53About realising the capacity to to essentially shift that
- 41:00perception to wherever you want to take it.
- 41:03So it is what it is, you know that I feel.
- 41:05It is what it is, your own question, I'll be honest,
- 41:08because you said something interesting at the beginning,
- 41:12which was you had more space to kind of consider things because
- 41:16you'd shifted a lot of stuff. Yeah.
- 41:18And when you're shifting timelines, when you're getting
- 41:23rid of baggage, it's like having a huge room full of junk and you
- 41:28can't move. You can't move in that room.
- 41:31You pull everything out of that room.
- 41:33You've got space, so you've given yourself space to think
- 41:39and that does change so much. And I, I believe that what we're
- 41:45dealing with, you know, predominantly with NLP is
- 41:49triggers. So I know you wanted to touch on
- 41:52the anchors and the triggers, but just so I can cover that for
- 41:57time's sake when we, you know, how we do the anchoring in NLP.
- 42:02So we get you to think of something great, a memory, and
- 42:06then you anchor it. You, you, you, you put that into
- 42:10your body. Now, why do we do that?
- 42:12Because when we experience good things and great things and
- 42:17exciting things, guess what? We're relaxed.
- 42:20Our body feels good. Our body is is is kind of, you
- 42:25know, like in that. Slow stage slow.
- 42:27Stage, but what happens when we're angry or when we get a
- 42:31fright or we're, if we're in trauma or anxiety, we go like
- 42:33that, OK. And when something happens that
- 42:36locks it in. So we are constantly anchoring
- 42:40in negativity, but we're not anchoring in positivity.
- 42:44So by overriding, if you like the system, what you're doing is
- 42:51you're setting up anchors so that your body can remember
- 42:55because your body will always keep the score.
- 42:58However, in saying that it is really important coming back to
- 43:02what your mum said as well, my mum is also a very strong
- 43:05Christian. She hates the word hypnosis.
- 43:08So she's always saying can you come up with something else?
- 43:12You know, so when we talk about subconscious and I hear what
- 43:15your mum says, I was doing some, you know, work with mum this
- 43:20morning and I referred to it as God consciousness.
- 43:24So it it is the above because it's not.
- 43:27This is the other thing. We do not become the gurus.
- 43:30Anthony Robbins actually created a seminar and it was I am not
- 43:35your guru. And so that is because it cannot
- 43:41be human. It's not done on a human level.
- 43:44I cannot make a person be healed.
- 43:49They've got to heal themself and it's just about removing and
- 43:54releasing because most of the back aches, the disease and the
- 43:59health issues that we have is coming from a thought that began
- 44:04as a thought and has manifested and then become disease in the
- 44:08body. You can create an environment
- 44:11where it is easier for people to heal in, right?
- 44:14So you can't fix them? Yeah, you can just create an
- 44:17environment and they have to do the work.
- 44:18Yeah, that's the personal environment bit theory.
- 44:21OK. So it's literally a really
- 44:23incredible thing to realize that when we thrive, it's usually to
- 44:27do with where we're where we're placed ourselves.
- 44:30And that the difference, you know, from being in a community
- 44:34or an environment that's invalidating, that's, you know,
- 44:37where you have to suppress your emotions, your identity compared
- 44:40to being somewhere, you know, where you can actually be
- 44:43yourself and you can explore. It's a.
- 44:45Game changer. Yeah, surround yourself with
- 44:48incredibly positive people, right.
- 44:49And then people have their ups and downs.
- 44:51Yeah, but you are. Absolutely.
- 44:52You are. I don't know.
- 44:54The key in my mind is to to success and happiness, I guess
- 44:58is to drown myself with really great people, really good
- 45:00energy. Because then you, you, I don't
- 45:02know, I mean you. Influential.
- 45:04You are the sum of the five people you hang.
- 45:06Around you are, you are. I was going there.
- 45:08There you go. But with Terry, just with NLP
- 45:11and and essentially, you know, it is with the visualize, with
- 45:14visualization and, and going to those strongest parts of
- 45:17ourselves when we're doing the, when we're anchoring, you know,
- 45:20through our best memories and those the most we're visualizing
- 45:24those states in those environments.
- 45:27That is basically that that person environment fits theory,
- 45:30right? It's being in those moments of
- 45:32time where everything works, everything flows, everything's
- 45:36just and there's a trust and there's this, this movement to
- 45:40it. I think that's that's the
- 45:42powerful thing. If if we are, you know, just
- 45:46full of yesterday, last night, the past Christmas, whatever it
- 45:52is, we, we can't visualize, we can't get to those places.
- 45:55We can't even imagine that they're a possibility.
- 45:58But I think that's the thing. They really are.
- 46:00And it's just a matter of knowing how you access that part
- 46:04and then how you how it ends up kind of also you, you become
- 46:07magnetized to it. It's not about the attachment.
- 46:12I have to have this and then I'll be OK.
- 46:14Like there's something in trusting that that's yeah, where
- 46:19you what you can have and and trusting in that.
- 46:22Is our word, though is trusting. Trust, right?
- 46:24Yeah, that's difficult beer. It really is.
- 46:27Yeah. Trust in in like I many years
- 46:29ago, I had a friend who used to do everything he did was
- 46:33irresponsible, everything OK and he just goes.
- 46:36Was that a judgement? He did totally, totally OK.
- 46:39He had every substance and a man in his body at all times.
- 46:42He didn't pay his bills. He was terrible.
- 46:44OK, great guy, beautiful. Gee, wow, just shocking and and
- 46:49I'd say, mate, you, you've got to pay your bills.
- 46:51Yes, the universe will provide and.
- 46:53Like the universe. Was he?
- 46:55Yes. It did always what?
- 46:58So the universe did provide. Yes, it did.
- 47:01Yeah. You know, like it's just in most
- 47:03ridiculous ways. So go on.
- 47:04Just on that note, so I am obsessed with a audio book.
- 47:08It's a book by Florence Gobel Shin, so she's the author of.
- 47:12The game of life the game of. Life and how to play it.
- 47:14Yeah. So she wrote that in 1925.
- 47:17So it's an old book, but it's literally the power of
- 47:19visualization and trust that everything will work out.
- 47:22But it's also about this imaging faculty, which is essentially,
- 47:27if we have an imaging faculty, which is what Terry does with
- 47:31NLP, that's the the concept of setting it up so it operates for
- 47:35you. Yeah, yeah.
- 47:37That's in alignment with with you.
- 47:39Yes, you're, you're already creating that.
- 47:42That's already being manifested. And that's that's essentially
- 47:44the game of life uses the these types of analogies to just keep
- 47:50on brilliant integrating. Yeah, those messages that it's
- 47:54happening on a subliminal level, like it's it's already
- 47:56happening. You've just got to.
- 47:57Be willing the part the chapter where she talks about the
- 48:02universe doesn't know the difference between reality and a
- 48:04joke. So yeah, if you and look, yeah,
- 48:08don't get me started on this. I won't go into how my poor
- 48:12beloved late husband suffered a lot of his own jokes, but you
- 48:17know, the person who he recommended me to, that book
- 48:20said, picked it up and said he's constantly telling jokes and
- 48:25saying these things. He doesn't realize that the
- 48:29universe doesn't realize it's a joke.
- 48:31So it's a self. Some of those jokes, I mean,
- 48:32they were funny. They were very, very hilarious,
- 48:35but. Deprecating but then.
- 48:37He, he manifested it, it it does actually become a manifestation.
- 48:43So what you say and you say it enough, You think of it enough?
- 48:47Yeah. You feel it enough, Yeah.
- 48:49You'll be it, Yeah. Well, comedians must be very
- 48:52depressed right now, but I'll go down that world, OK?
- 48:57I've been in the stand up world, OK and.
- 48:59What you a stand up comedian? I've done stand up comedian,
- 49:01yeah. But you're sitting down.
- 49:03I know do. It.
- 49:04Comfortable. Can you?
- 49:05Come on. Just kick the feedback.
- 49:07You'll be right. But you get into a green room
- 49:10with a bunch of stand up comics, it is the most depressing place
- 49:13on earth. Is that right?
- 49:14It is the great home of of emotional damage, OK, of mental
- 49:19issues. My God.
- 49:20Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like some people will do things
- 49:22that the most. I mean, somebody, I saw a guy
- 49:25literally stood in the corner with his face to the corner and
- 49:28he's kind of just talking to himself beforehand and he's
- 49:30like, he's formed a bit and then he goes onto the stage and it is
- 49:34all about validation. So stand up comedians, generally
- 49:38speaking, we can't speak for all.
- 49:38Yeah. But from my experience, yes,
- 49:41they are. They've really got a lot of.
- 49:44Lot of hurt. Did you ever see baby reindeer?
- 49:46No. It's a really good series about
- 49:49a comedian from the UK and someone who I'm gonna have to,
- 49:54you know, it says a really big twist.
- 49:56But he, because of all of that validation that he speaks about
- 50:00through this show, attracts a stalker and she harasses him.
- 50:06But it's because of this need to be liked and this need to be
- 50:12approved even by this, you know, very.
- 50:16Mentally ill person who? Yeah.
- 50:18So but yeah, just like it just I can't wait to I'm gonna.
- 50:21Say, but yeah, I'll have been that too.
- 50:23Like, literally. Interesting.
- 50:25Very. Yeah, My experience has been
- 50:26basically the people going out there, it's like, please like
- 50:29me, please like me, please like me.
- 50:30That's what the Yeah, you have 5 minutes on stage or three
- 50:32minutes, whatever. You know, clowns are actually
- 50:34very there's a very. Sad.
- 50:35Clowns are evil and also. One of your.
- 50:39Favorite one of your favorite actors was also very sad.
- 50:43Oh my God. Yeah, you're gonna go Robin
- 50:45Woods. Who?
- 50:45I Absolutely, yeah. You know, that's beautiful.
- 50:48And you'll be a human being, full stop.
- 50:50And yeah, the whole thing's. About tragedy and yet he always,
- 50:53and you know, this is the ironic element of human nature is that
- 50:59the genius zone and the strength is actually the weakness.
- 51:03So quite often they are very good at something, but actually
- 51:09they also have that suffering themself and that's what brings
- 51:14it all together and that's what creates the passion, the
- 51:16passion, the purpose and everything else.
- 51:19Yeah. Well, in that world, it's very
- 51:21much the case if they don't want people to feel the pain that
- 51:23they feel. Yeah.
- 51:24So that's they, yeah. That's why they work so hard on
- 51:27portraying an image and and bringing love and laughter and
- 51:30lights or something. So, yeah, it's pretty deep.
- 51:33It is, yeah. We went deep.
- 51:35We did. Yeah, we did.
- 51:36We did. I'll lay on the couch.
- 51:38Or maybe I will. Yeah, yeah, this, this does
- 51:41become a session for me every week.
- 51:42It's great. I.
- 51:43Love it. We're gonna have to debrief
- 51:44after this. I know, right?
- 51:46So we have we got time for one last question.
- 51:48Here's one last. Question.
- 51:49Yeah, I decided let's run a little longer line, right?
- 51:52Can't hurt anyone now the news can wait, right?
- 51:55The news. Can.
- 51:56Wait. There we go.
- 51:57What is the master key? What is the master?
- 52:00Key to know more about the. Master key.
- 52:02So the master key, When you think of a master key, what do
- 52:04you think of something that can unlock a few things, not just
- 52:08one? Yeah, correct.
- 52:09Absolutely. Yeah.
- 52:10So after dealing with in clinic, I think when we sold clinic in
- 52:162017, I didn't count and it was about 6851 on one consultations
- 52:22that I'd done. And in all of those
- 52:25consultations, I was able to I guess decipher that people were
- 52:33either really requiring better health because people would come
- 52:37because they wanted to obviously drop excess kilos being a
- 52:40hypnotherapist, they would release it through their brain.
- 52:44That was the first master key health, billion dollar energy.
- 52:48Number two, people had trauma that came from past
- 52:54relationships and pretty much everything came from that so.
- 52:59I'm right here. OK, come.
- 53:01On key number 2 is, you know, practicing rich relationships,
- 53:05yes, what we want is we want to go.
- 53:07I'm not a relationship that's not my niche and I choose not to
- 53:13make weight management my niche either because that's just not
- 53:17where I'm at. But that's predominantly what
- 53:20we're trained at at in clinical hypnosis.
- 53:23So you've got those two element. So that's the first two keys.
- 53:28The third one is prosperity. People usually want to know what
- 53:32is it, you know, that is going to change in my prosperity.
- 53:36Prosperity is spiritual. So it's more around yourself.
- 53:41Esteem yourself worth the way you view yourself because if a
- 53:46person is giving away their services or they're giving away
- 53:50things, that is a people pleasing tactic.
- 53:54And that's because there is, there's a basic thing within
- 53:57them and all of us, because we all suffer from this, where
- 54:01they're giving away their prosperity because, you know, at
- 54:05their own expense. So that's spiritual prosperity
- 54:08#4 is the genius zone. Yes, each and every one of us
- 54:13really need to know our purpose. I believe that if you know what
- 54:19you're here to do and you are doing it, that is when you're in
- 54:23your, you know, your space of being totally at one with
- 54:27yourself, like you were in the rally car, right?
- 54:29So when a person's in their zone, a genius, you'll know
- 54:32because they become really magnetic.
- 54:34They become really present and #5 it's legacy.
- 54:38And the legacy is really about going back and healing ancestral
- 54:46lineage and the patterns and all of those elements so that you
- 54:50are creating a legacy for the future generations going
- 54:54forward. So the master key unlocks all of
- 54:57those elements, and they're the five master keys.
- 55:01Have you got 1? All of them.
- 55:04No, I'm definitely wanting to. I'm wanting to strengthen all of
- 55:09them, they all. You can see how they all
- 55:11interweave together as well, just I with the with the
- 55:17prosperity. Yes, I saw your eyes light.
- 55:20Up, yes. Can you tell?
- 55:21Me big one. It's actually one of my most
- 55:24hugest programs whenever I run it.
- 55:27It's the one that attracts so many people.
- 55:29I think it's because it's the word prosperity.
- 55:32What would you like to know in terms of that?
- 55:33Just in how, because you were mentioning it just around you
- 55:37know need giving it away yes and that being a very common thing
- 55:42that we do it reminds me of if that quote don't cast your pills
- 55:47at swine, which is that Bible Biblical Yeah, biblical, but.
- 55:56Yeah. Jordan Peterson was using it in
- 55:58in terms of we give so much away and we give it away and it gets
- 56:03taken advantage of. And that's right.
- 56:05More than pray to that myself. Leave where?
- 56:07That's where we come unstuck. And that's where we can't.
- 56:09So it's is it around? Yeah, internal boundaries and
- 56:12around how to preserve that energy.
- 56:14Because we don't feel that there's a people placing trap
- 56:18within us that we think if we charge too much or if we don't,
- 56:23then that's going to take away from them.
- 56:25And I'm not going to be lied. Yes.
- 56:26So what they're actually doing is they're not only robbing from
- 56:29themselves, but they're robbing from the other person because
- 56:33they're not showcasing that full prosperity of what makes the
- 56:36world go round. Because money is not about being
- 56:39greedy or it's not it's not about money.
- 56:43It's it's about being able to give and you can't give out of
- 56:47an empty cup. I'm.
- 56:48Going to describe because you're talking from your perspective
- 56:52that giving money well sorry that we.
- 56:53Have to give money away, yeah. Yeah, no, but a lot.
- 56:56No, No, no, no, no. I don't mean it that way.
- 56:58Yeah, some people do see money as as just like literally it's
- 57:01just about power, right? Yeah.
- 57:02Power and control. And it's a God.
- 57:04Yes. OK.
- 57:05People who are, who genuinely care about others, who are
- 57:08empathetic, then they're the ones that are more open with
- 57:10their souls when it comes to money.
- 57:11So, you know, it's each their own.
- 57:14Yeah. It's their own space.
- 57:15Absolutely. And it's finding that it's, it's
- 57:17making it so that it's not a about making money your God,
- 57:21because that's not what prosperity is.
- 57:23Prosperity is around being healthy and having that real,
- 57:28genuine, you know, ability to know that you are worth it.
- 57:32You've got something within you that is expansive and that's
- 57:38prosperity. It's not about being greedy.
- 57:40But it's interesting because like the concept of kind of
- 57:42containing that and being prosperous, it's like a
- 57:47contradiction. Yeah.
- 57:48So learning the skills to be able to harness that allow,
- 57:53which is essentially what you're saying then allows you to give
- 57:58it a give it like share. It you can be more giving.
- 58:01But it's like intact, isn't it? It's like this intact ability to
- 58:05to to harness it and to to be it and withhold that currency and
- 58:11to be able to then. Yeah.
- 58:12Share it Yeah, I'd love to add more.
- 58:15And, you know, you will probably get access to this prosperity
- 58:20codes program because there's so much, most of everything.
- 58:24It sounds like it's about money and prosperity around wealth,
- 58:28but it's actually around yourself.
- 58:30Yeah. So it's actually about working
- 58:32on yourself, working on yourself worth and that you are worth
- 58:36something. Yeah.
- 58:37And you deserve, you know, to be prosperous.
- 58:40Amazing. And I think we all agree on
- 58:42that. Oh, definitely prosperous.
- 58:44We, we that's something that we all should see as a goal. 100%,
- 58:48Yeah, we're really sure. We are living in a world of
- 58:52being in this scarcity mindset. I don't have enough.
- 58:55I need more, more fuel, more this, more toilet paper probably
- 58:58again, whatever it is, you know, it's just like we're getting
- 59:01stock up, stock up, stock up, prep, prep, get ready for two.
- 59:04Rolls, yeah. Two prices up, more stocking up.
- 59:08So, yeah, if we can just just kind of scrap that and just, you
- 59:11know, consciously act from awareness and from that place of
- 59:20what what it is, it's like it's this, it's a mindset, isn't it,
- 59:24of prosperity. It doesn't mean we can't still,
- 59:28and I don't know, we don't need to be as like, as as heavily
- 59:30dependent on or relying on the universe as your preference.
- 59:33No, no, no. To pay the bills.
- 59:35Long term didn't work for your mother.
- 59:37So there's probably something in the middle, right where it's
- 59:39just like it's gonna work out, it's going to work out, and
- 59:42that's that. Maybe trusting.
- 59:44Maybe he believed so much that the universe would provide.
- 59:48Yeah. That it was in that trust and
- 59:51that faith that he attracted. It I don't think George Michaels
- 59:55involved. We have hit the end of the show
- 59:59well and truly. I'll tell you right now, this
- 1:00:01has been really fascinating conversation.
- 1:00:03You've got to come back. I would love to come back and
- 1:00:05she. Will.
- 1:00:05Be she will. OK, we'll change bums out front.
- 1:00:07You'll never find it and. We'll be and we'll be launching
- 1:00:11Eloises program. Very, very cool indeed now.
- 1:00:15I think very, very excited. Yeah, it is absolutely exciting
- 1:00:17and being excited about. And you know what?
- 1:00:19Allow yourself to be excited about it.
- 1:00:20Yes, something I've been doing. I've better be very quickly
- 1:00:23about this. I have stopped myself from being
- 1:00:25happy and excited about things. What an idiot.
- 1:00:27But honestly, OK, things, wonderful things happening in my
- 1:00:30life, God damn it, I'm gonna embrace it.
- 1:00:33Absolutely get on board, you deserve it.
- 1:00:34That's so much more magnetising, isn't it, than being cautious to
- 1:00:38have the that experience. Like if, if anything's gonna
- 1:00:40take away, it's the latter, right.
- 1:00:41That's the one that's like, Nah, yeah.
- 1:00:43So if you're just like, no, I'm, I'm own it.
- 1:00:46Own it own. It and on that bombshell like
- 1:00:48subscribe, share this with other people if you feel you've got

- 1:00:56We would love to be interactive. I do notice on some of the other
- 1:01:00platforms that we've had questions come through which we
- 1:01:02cannot see. Great.
- 1:01:04Like we'll talk to you during the week.
- 1:01:06That's probably the best bet as far as if you want to get your
- 1:01:08questions on air, the best way to go is on YouTube as we go and
- 1:01:12we can bring them up on the screen the way we go.
- 1:01:14And we'll do that for next time. So thank you very much for being
