- 0:51Ladies and gentlemen, may I have your attention please?
- 0:59The show starts in 10987654 321 go.
- 1:41I want it to silence my pain, but it screamed even louder.
- 1:50I'm falling and sinking in the blood of my own estate.
- 1:58I'm falling, only losing, falling and begging.
- 2:07Are we too far to go back? Or is this my darling, my last
- 2:20break in me redemption, my darling, my last break in me
- 2:30redemption? Do you still Remember Me or have
- 2:38I become a ghost in your memory? Are you too far away to hear me
- 2:43or have you forgotten me? I'm falling.
- 2:48I'm thinking Kronos and Lay. I'm falling, moving.
- 2:54Are we too far to go back? Or is this still my darling, my
- 3:14last friend, give me redemption. My darling, my last friend,
- 3:29where is redemption? My heart rise down for
- 4:32the end. Where are you?
- 4:54I feel the weight that's pulling
- 5:08me down. I whisper, but there's no one
- 5:14around. The silence echoes in my mind.
- 5:20I'm trapped inside with no way to find the light to guide me
- 5:26through the end. I know I can close the door if I
- 5:31close my eyes and ignore if I let it fade.
- 5:34Oh, don't close your eyes, we're
- 6:10almost there. Don't give up, we're almost
- 6:11there. The shadows grow.
- 6:12I stand still, but I feel something deeper will awaken in
- 6:22the void I see. I can close the door if I close
- 6:32my eyes and ignore if I let it stay, eat away if I walk.
- 6:38Don't walk away. Don't don't shut it.
- 6:49Don't. Don't close your eyes.
- 6:59We're almost there, We're almost there.
- 7:12Falling angels at my face, Voices whisper soft and wings
- 7:17steps has appeared. But I won't fall.
- 7:19I rise. I stand.
- 7:21I hear the call. She beckons me.
- 7:23Should I come down or has my hands gone?
- 7:27I leave behind them, don't give. The light is lost, but I won't
- 8:13drown. The shadows called stand firm.
- 8:19Through the pain I can see I won't drown.
- 9:34Don't let the light fade away. Almost there.
- 9:49Hello there everyone. Welcome to GOD TV Radio.
- 9:52I'm TTOR and next to me is none other than the originator, Brett
- 9:57Keane. Say hello, Brett.
- 9:59Yes, what's up everybody? I hope you're all doing OK out
- 10:04there. Had some people complaining that
- 10:06the heat's been unbelievable. Yeah, We kind of just passed
- 10:14through our heat wave over here in Oregon like a couple like a
- 10:18week ago. We had like three straight days
- 10:20around 100°, like high 90s, low hundreds.
- 10:23But then the whole last week has been like low 80s, high 70s.
- 10:28So it's been perfect over here. We even had a little bit of rain
- 10:32overnight, which was a little bit surprising for this late in
- 10:35the summer, but we'll take it. So I got to ask, T, if you are,
- 10:40do you think people are plotting against just sending you out in
- 10:43the heat to work all the time? Geez, I can barely get a hold of
- 10:47this guy anymore. They're working like a mule.
- 10:52Now I work in a closet. Actually, that's the joke I have
- 10:58at work anyway, about the size of my office because it's
- 11:00basically a converted closet. Goodness gracious.
- 11:05Like a really big closet, but a closet nonetheless.
- 11:09Hey, it feels like a closet once you've got your table and all
- 11:11your equipment set up on one side and you got your shelves
- 11:15and all the stuff that we store in there on the other side.
- 11:18And then there's a closet within the closet that has like the
- 11:20servers and stuff for our, like the tower for our main streaming
- 11:26computer. So yeah, it feels like a closet
- 11:30once all the stuff's in there, but I don't think the room's
- 11:32actually that small. So I gotta ask when you've come
- 11:37out of the closet and people ask you where you've been and you
- 11:40say, well, I come out of the closet just recently, do you get
- 11:44awkward looks? I probably would if I said that,
- 11:53yeah, that would actually make a very good skit video about me
- 11:56coming out of the closet and everyone's freaking out and I'm
- 11:59like, no, no, see, here's this closet.
- 12:00I just came out of there. Look at that handsome banner,
- 12:08yeah? It's almost like on TV, radio is
- 12:12on fire. Almost, almost on fire, but not
- 12:20really, because if it was really on fire, then we'd call the fire
- 12:22department. We'd have to.
- 12:25So what's on the menu there, gang?
- 12:29Well, this is Part 3 of answering your questions for
- 12:32Christians and in particular, we will be looking at some
- 12:36questions that you recently put to Smokey St. and I'm going to
- 12:42answer some of the same questions and perhaps more.
- 12:48Now, you did hear, you did hear what happened during the when I
- 12:52tried to ask questions for those gentlemen, right?
- 12:57No, I did not hear that. Well, unfortunately I had, I had
- 13:02had this great idea where I wanted the Christian perspective
- 13:05and the Muslim perspective. So we had Prophet Daniel, but
- 13:09unfortunately Prophet Daniel spent most of his time arguing
- 13:12with Smokey about his view of God as opposed to actually
- 13:16answering the questions himself. No hatred there.
- 13:20It's just said it turned into a thing where I literally was only
- 13:24able to ask up to four questions and that was at because it went
- 13:28on a tangent like that. But it still had its good
- 13:33moments, I suppose. But I prefer the Director Pro to
- 13:36what you're doing where you're just one-on-one answering to the
- 13:40best of your ability. I dig that.
- 13:44Thank you. I appreciate that.
- 13:46Now let me just get this there. Aha, that is better.
- 13:51OK, so now it looks more organized.
- 13:53Little bit of on the fly layout editing.
- 13:57Goodness gracious. Kind of tiny there, guy.
- 14:01Yeah, but it'll if I make it bigger, it'll cover up the whole
- 14:03thing. Well, isn't that what you want
- 14:06to do, where you only highlight the questions you're answering
- 14:09in the moment? You do like the page though
- 14:12though, right? How does people feel about the
- 14:13website? I've been working my tail end on
- 14:16that. It looks very good.
- 14:18You've done a lot of good work with that Blogger site you got.
- 14:22Yeah, I'm going to add it I'm. Going to try something else give
- 14:25me one second. Let me remove let me add there.
- 14:30Let's just do it that way. They'll just have to guess what
- 14:34GOD TV Radio looks like. Ha, ha.
- 14:38All right, so, so this is an article that you did recently
- 14:44called 50 Big Questions about God, Nature, Timelessness and
- 14:50Higher Dimensions. And we're just going to go ahead
- 14:55and start answering the questions because they are good
- 14:58questions to answer. And question #1 is how can God
- 15:05be all powerful if some things like a square circle seem
- 15:10impossible? Well, things that logically
- 15:14contradict themselves are things that God can't do, because God
- 15:18is the originator of logic, reason, and rationality.
- 15:23So naturally truth is not going to contradict itself.
- 15:27And if God is the source of all truth, that means he's not going
- 15:31to contradict himself in any way, shape or form, which means
- 15:35a square circle, which is logically impossible, cannot be
- 15:39done by God. That's like the question people
- 15:42also ask. Like can God make a rock so
- 15:45heavy that he can't lift it? It's like, dude, he's all
- 15:50powerful. He can't do that.
- 15:55Well technically I don't know if you ever heard my kind of joke
- 15:58response, but it always works on non believers.
- 16:01They'll say, can God make that rock?
- 16:04It's just so big and so heavy. Can't lift him.
- 16:06I say he already has, it's called.
- 16:08Rock'n'roll ha. Ha ha.
- 16:12Get it? Get it.
- 16:13Good one, I see exactly where you're going there.
- 16:18But for the people watching at home, things that are logically
- 16:21impossible, they're not going to be things that God does, because
- 16:26God is the source of all logic, so therefore he's not going to
- 16:29do something that contradicts objectively true logic.
- 16:34Now question number. You're, you're saying TTOR, that
- 16:37if God's going to create things or construct things, they're
- 16:40always going to have some kind of constraint or law set up to
- 16:43them and he's not going to go outside of the nature.
- 16:47Exactly. And since you brought up the
- 16:50term law, the law of cause and effect would be violated if God
- 16:54made a rock so heavy that he couldn't lift it.
- 16:57Because the law of cause and effect says that the effect must
- 17:02have an equal or adequate cause. So the cause can be equal to the
- 17:07effect. The cause can be greater than
- 17:09the effect, but the cause cannot be less than the effect.
- 17:14Therefore, if God were to make a rock so heavy that he couldn't
- 17:17lift it, the effect would be greater than the cause, which is
- 17:21God. It would violate that law.
- 17:24So what do you think? Do you think it would be more
- 17:26appropriate for Christians nowadays to say God can create
- 17:30whatever is logically possible as opposed to all this nonsense
- 17:35dilemmas they try to throw? I'd say whatever is logically
- 17:43whatever is consistent with his nature, and his nature is the
- 17:46source of logic. So yeah, I'd I'd say something
- 17:50to that effect. Question number.
- 17:53Question #2 though, is interesting because it's kind of
- 17:56related to something I've touched on before in one of
- 17:58these recent streams. Does God know every possible
- 18:02future or only the one that happens?
- 18:05Well, I believe in a stream a couple weeks ago or a few weeks
- 18:08back, I explained how when God looks at decisions that people
- 18:14make, like if they have a choice in front of them, where if they
- 18:18choose one thing, they'll take them down one path, if they
- 18:21choose the other thing, they'll take them down another path.
- 18:25God sees the outcomes of what will happen with each decision
- 18:30that you make. He's not making you choose one
- 18:33choice or the other. He just knows what's going to
- 18:36happen no matter what you choose.
- 18:39So you're free to choose to live however you want.
- 18:43But no matter what choice you make, God already knows what the
- 18:46outcome of that choice will be. And so when you take that and
- 18:51you extend it to this question, does God know every possible
- 18:55future? The answer is yes.
- 18:58Whether or not certain futures play out is dependent upon our
- 19:02choices. But there's not going to be a
- 19:04path that we go down that God's going to look at and go, huh,
- 19:08didn't see that one coming. That there's no, there's no
- 19:13tricking God or pulling the wool over his eyes or him just not
- 19:17recognizing how something's going to go down.
- 19:20He knows every possible future because he knows every possible
- 19:25outcome for every possible choice that we could possibly
- 19:28make. And when you start thinking
- 19:31about that just for your own life and then you start applying
- 19:34it to well, God does, doesn't just isn't just that way for
- 19:38you. He's that way for your mom, for
- 19:41your dad, for your sister, for your family members, for your
- 19:43town, for your city, for your state, for your country.
- 19:48I mean, once you start factoring in all the billions of people
- 19:52that are on the earth that this all applies to, it becomes
- 19:55astronomical to comprehend. It goes beyond the human brain.
- 20:00It's something that is truly a divine attribute that is
- 20:03exclusive to God. Because we cannot see the path
- 20:09that anyone choice will take us down.
- 20:13We are very limited in our view of the future.
- 20:16Whereas God sees it all. And just because he can see it
- 20:21all doesn't mean our paths are predetermined, because that's
- 20:23what some. Atheists and skeptics would say
- 20:26in response is that, well, God knows the future, therefore I
- 20:30must not have free will, and everything I do has been
- 20:33predetermined by him. It's like, no, not necessarily
- 20:37true. God can intervene in a situation
- 20:40to get you to where he wants you to go, but for the most part
- 20:44we're free to make our own choices.
- 20:46And God's not going to interfere in that choice by and large.
- 20:51But he knows what's going to happen when you make that
- 20:54choice. So even though he's not making
- 20:56you do anything, he knows what every possible outcome is.
- 21:02And that's part of being all knowing.
- 21:05T2 RI Hope you don't mind. As usual, I put the link out.
- 21:09I will let you be the one that chooses who actually comes up.
- 21:13I do not know the person that is in the background right now, but
- 21:18yeah. All right, I see father Ude in
- 21:22the background. I don't know if the N was left
- 21:26off intentionally or not, but if he can leave a comment in the
- 21:32private chat to identify his intentions, and if he has a
- 21:42webcam, please turn that on. Let's see what else we got in
- 21:47the comment. AFK making flatbread.
- 21:51I don't know what that means. I don't know.
- 21:53Maybe the audience. Those either.
- 21:56Maybe the audience can figure out what Garu Lady means.
- 22:00But anywho, let me get back to the questions #3 Now this is one
- 22:08that I have an answer to biblically for sure.
- 22:13Is God literally everywhere, or does God exist beyond places all
- 22:18together? Well, it is true that God the
- 22:22Father is in heaven according to Jesus, but He's also present
- 22:28everywhere according to Scripture.
- 22:30And one of the Scriptures that is most popular when proving the
- 22:35idea or the claim that God is omnipresent, that He's present
- 22:40everywhere is actually found in Psalm 139, verses 7 through 12,
- 22:48which says the following Where can I go from your spirit?
- 22:53Where can I flee from your present presence?
- 22:57If I go up to the heavens, you are there.
- 23:00If I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
- 23:02If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far
- 23:05side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me.
- 23:08Your right hand will hold me fast.
- 23:11If I say surely the darkness will hide me and the light
- 23:14become night around me. Even the darkness will not be
- 23:17dark to you. The night will shine like the
- 23:20day, for darkness is as light to you.
- 23:24And So what this passage is literally saying is that God, no
- 23:28matter where you go, he's there. That's omnipresence in a
- 23:33nutshell. So the Bible is explicitly clear
- 23:37that God is omnipresent in our lives.
- 23:40Like he is literally everywhere that every human being is.
- 23:44But on the flip side, he's also in heaven.
- 23:47And so he doesn't exactly reside in our dimension, outside our
- 23:53dimension exclusively, but he does there because when Jesus
- 23:57was on the earth in the 1st century, if you recall, he said
- 24:01that, and I think he said on 2 occasions that God the Father
- 24:08was in heaven. Obviously when he says God the
- 24:12Father was in heaven, it means that at that moment in time
- 24:15where Jesus was, he wasn't on earth because God the Son was on
- 24:21the earth in human form. TTOR if you don't mind me
- 24:27asking, because there's going to be some people who may be
- 24:30interested in this, What differentiates God of
- 24:34Christianity compared to that of pantheism?
- 24:40Now, pantheism is where God is the universe, right?
- 24:44Yeah, he's with them all things and everything, and also
- 24:48outside, yet somehow connected. That's usually how they go about
- 24:52it. It looks like our father, UD
- 24:54Guy, decided to show himself on camera.
- 24:58It's up to you if you want to throw an overlay for a moment
- 25:01just to get to know him. Yeah, I think we need to put up
- 25:06the vetting screen. OK, so Father UD, you are an
- 25:12Episcot Episcopal brother. Yes Sir.
- 25:18A priest dude is a type of incense.
- 25:21It means wood in Arabic. Are you from the Middle East or
- 25:24you just like that? No, I just love the scent.
- 25:27I I enjoy that kind of stuff in my prayer to light up a little
- 25:31bit of incense. It's a Episcopal Church, is very
- 25:34similar to Catholicism, so we enjoy a little bit of ritual in
- 25:38our work. I see.
- 25:41Yeah, fatherhood, please. Please forgive my son.
- 25:45He just woke up. He's all right.
- 25:47It's OK, buddy. Sorry.
- 25:48Continue. Fatherhood.
- 25:50I think I checked out your YouTube channel a while back.
- 25:53Were you the one that did the mention?
- 25:56Yeah, I was interested in talking to you.
- 25:58I've been interested in talking to you for a while just because
- 26:00you have a lot of interesting ideas about God and I, I, I
- 26:05don't know, I being I'm interested mostly in being an
- 26:09Episcopal because I do believe that we both have a Protestant
- 26:12ideology. Mine happens to be like you
- 26:16said, in universalism. I do believe that God is in all
- 26:19things at all times because of the name Yahweh being I am who
- 26:23is. When you break up Yahweh, have a
- 26:26the letters in. When you break up those letters
- 26:30in the original Hebrew, those letters symbolize all the
- 26:34elements. And I know that sounds a little
- 26:36bit Pagan, but it is true. Those letters do symbolize the
- 26:42elements. And I believe that that was kind
- 26:44of our Father's way of saying I am in all things.
- 26:50All right, I got to be honest with you.
- 26:52When I first checked out your channel, I, I didn't know what I
- 26:55was looking at. There appeared to be a bunch of
- 26:58shorts with the what appeared to be an avatar of a.
- 27:02Guy, I really just started, so I don't know what I'm doing, but
- 27:05I'm working on it. I mean, I'm mostly working on
- 27:07what. What I'm trying to what I'm
- 27:08trying to explain to you is it appeared on the surface as a
- 27:12troll channel because I'm watching a guy avatar speaking a
- 27:16woman's voice. I thought I was looking at the
- 27:18transgender channel. Well, not quite.
- 27:22Not quite, I promise. All right, well, you should May
- 27:29I, may I suggest that you do a couple videos about your
- 27:33theology and views. That way people don't go to your
- 27:35channel and think, oh, oh, what are we dealing with here kind of
- 27:39thing. Because it really I, I am.
- 27:41I'm being honest with you. You seem like a really cool guy
- 27:44and I'm glad you're here, but your channel throws off this
- 27:48kind of troll vibe to it. I have to work on it.
- 27:51I'm really going to have to work on it because I've never really
- 27:53messed with YouTube. I'm more of an in person guy.
- 27:55I mean, my church is very simple.
- 27:58I mean, it's the basic mass, but we really do get involved in the
- 28:01community. And that's my favorite part is
- 28:04really when you get to, even when I have crisis of faith,
- 28:07which I will be honest, I do, there's times where I like to
- 28:10refer to myself as Jesus, as stray cat because I always think
- 28:13that I have my own way, but I end up finding myself at his
- 28:16feet no matter what. You know what I mean?
- 28:19Right. And I appreciate your
- 28:21intellectual honesty on that. I, I need to point something out
- 28:25for you. I don't know how long you've
- 28:26watched my shows and all that. Right now we're doing a show
- 28:30that is hosted by TTOR. Sometimes I do shows where I
- 28:34host and then I kind of let everybody come in and we have
- 28:37discussions and all that. But I think that TTOR's plan
- 28:40tonight was to try to if. If you want me to step out,
- 28:43that's not a problem. At all.
- 28:44No, no, no, you, you don't have to do that.
- 28:46I'm just letting you know what the format is tonight is going
- 28:49to be answering some questions I have on my website.
- 28:53May I suggest for you that when you do some videos in the
- 28:56future, if you go to my website, I have tons of questions that
- 29:00you may find interesting that you'd like to attempt to answer
- 29:04when making videos and then. That'd be great.
- 29:07That's a really good idea. I could probably touch on that
- 29:10to try and inspire just some, you know.
- 29:14Oh, trust me, I'll get to go ahead, DPY.
- 29:19I just put the link in the descript in the private chat to
- 29:23the questions article I'm reading from, so that way you
- 29:26can have it for yourself to make your own content.
- 29:31I will attempt to answer the next question and then we will
- 29:34let father Ude see how he does off the cuff.
- 29:39We'll try. But I do need an.
- 29:41I do need some more explanation though on question 4, which is
- 29:45can God stay the same forever and still respond to the world?
- 29:49I'm not understanding Brett, what exactly that's asking.
- 29:53Could you elaborate on that more?
- 29:55Well, you've probably heard a lot, especially in Christianity
- 29:58and Islam. The claim is that God is not
- 30:01changeable. And a lot of people ask the
- 30:04question, does that mean that's his personality, his nature?
- 30:08Or does he simply in all facets don't change?
- 30:13And you got to understand if God is non changing then that could
- 30:17also limit how he decides to actually interact with humanity
- 30:22depending on the course. Does that make more sense for
- 30:25you? So is the question asking if he
- 30:30responded to the world too much that it would somehow change
- 30:33him? Is that what the questions
- 30:36hinting at as a possibility? Well, in my, in my theory, in my
- 30:40own personal view, if God were to come down right now and sit,
- 30:45perch himself from the tallest building and make himself known
- 30:49to everybody, I, I think that it would literally change the way
- 30:53we perceive free will because we'd always see him, we'd always
- 30:57hear him. And criminals, of course, would
- 30:59be afraid to do anything wrong because they can see him right
- 31:02there. You know what I mean?
- 31:04So I think it would affect free will in a huge way, do you
- 31:08think? Well, I think in that context, I
- 31:15think God actually making himself known in a way everyone
- 31:18can see him. Surprise, surprise will not
- 31:21actually determine a lot of people's direction in life.
- 31:24They will actually still reject him.
- 31:27I mean, you've seen many an atheist on the Internet
- 31:29overtime, Brett, as if I who have said that even if we could
- 31:33prove to them that the God of the Bible exists and that
- 31:36everything the Bible teaches is true, they still would not
- 31:39believe and they still would not submit and they would rather go
- 31:42to hell. Say that if they seen God to
- 31:47kick him square in the nuts. I've heard all kinds of claims
- 31:50by atheist but let's let's be honest TTOR if an atheist
- 31:54actually seen God or even some Christians who are having issue.
- 31:59The truth is the reality is they poop their damn pants.
- 32:02They wouldn't talk tough or act crazy in front of an almighty
- 32:06God that's standing before them. Let's be honest just about it,
- 32:09right? I mean, they talk on the
- 32:11Internet, but in real life they would piss their pants.
- 32:15We know that. Well, that is true to an extent,
- 32:18especially with the cowards. But you got to remember though,
- 32:22in the Book of Revelation, in the end times, Jesus comes back
- 32:25with his army of angels, conquers the beast system,
- 32:29destroys their little Kingdom, establishes his Kingdom.
- 32:32There's the thousand years of peace, but then what happens?
- 32:36The gates to Hades where Satan and everyone who's not part of
- 32:40the Kingdom is, which is most of humanity.
- 32:43They're allowed to come out and their first thing to do is to
- 32:47rally around Satan and rebel against God.
- 32:50God is literally there in their presence of his own Kingdom
- 32:53established. He's destroyed them all already
- 32:571000 years earlier, but they're still willing to rebel against
- 33:01God even in that situation. So while it's partially while
- 33:06it's partially true what you're saying, there are some people
- 33:09who talk tough about what rebels against God they would be until
- 33:12they actually come face to face with him.
- 33:15Some people would have a much different tune if they did.
- 33:19But generally speaking, we know from what the Bible says about
- 33:23the end times, most people in the end will choose to rebel
- 33:27against God even after he's established his Kingdom on earth
- 33:30and has been around us for 1000 years.
- 33:33So I don't think God changes by responding to or interacting
- 33:38with the world, but I also thank people in general that don't
- 33:42really change all that much either from his direct
- 33:44intervention. I mean, his direct intervention
- 33:47is powerful and it does have an effect that lasts forever, but
- 33:51getting people to not rebel against him is not necessarily
- 33:56one of those effects. Well, I got to say TTOR, you
- 34:00absolutely have made 100% accurate point.
- 34:04I did not think of that TTOR, but you are absolutely correct.
- 34:08There are going to be people no matter what God does, they're
- 34:11going to continue to be jackasses.
- 34:13So I I have to you have corrected me brother.
- 34:17Thank you. You're welcome and I I don't do
- 34:21it so much as a correction is just a giving you some
- 34:24additional information because you have to really think wow
- 34:28someone in that scenario where God has been present for 1000
- 34:33years on earth, you can literally see his Kingdom right
- 34:35over there and you still are like middle finger.
- 34:39I hate you. I'd rather die.
- 34:42That's just mind baffling to me, but it's insane.
- 34:48It's insane to think that no matter what God does, there's
- 34:52going to be some people who will continue to do that.
- 34:55It's like being in the ring with Mike Tyson and actually thinking
- 34:58that you have a chance. Right.
- 35:05What does Father who think about question #4 Can God stay the
- 35:09same forever and still respond to the world?
- 35:12My, my thought process on that is that we have to realize that
- 35:16our God is when we say I'm the president, to me, I believe that
- 35:21God is beyond time. I believe that God is unchanging
- 35:24because I, when you say I am the alpha in the Omega, he didn't
- 35:30say I'm the Omega later. You know what I mean?
- 35:32He's the Omega right now. So for me, I don't think God
- 35:35changes because I don't think that he is at the whim of the
- 35:38same reality that we are in a sense, I don't know.
- 35:43I don't know if that sounds odd to say reality.
- 35:45I just mean in the sense, I don't think that he's at the
- 35:47whim of aging or time or just how we perceive nature.
- 35:52I think that he, I, in my mind, I, I just, I believe that God
- 35:56might see, even though we are created in his image, I do
- 35:59believe that. I mean, it's kind of obvious to
- 36:03say he has power that we don't. I believe he sees what we don't.
- 36:06And I, I think that that if to say he doesn't change, I think
- 36:10it's because he's always going to be him.
- 36:12You know what I mean? Yeah, yeah, that is totally
- 36:17true. And we have a whole record
- 36:19called the Bible that shows all the times that God has
- 36:22intervened in people's lives and made basically change their
- 36:26future, gave them a nation. You see, in the Old Testament
- 36:29especially, even after everything God did for them to
- 36:32get them out of Egypt and through the wilderness into the
- 36:36promised land, helping the Canaanites.
- 36:39And still they rebelled against God so hard that they demanded
- 36:43to have a human king because in their own words, they wanted to
- 36:47be like everyone else instead of, you know, being unique and
- 36:53set apart and serving God. I think people have trouble
- 36:58because faith isn't always easy. It's not.
- 37:00We all know it's not Peaches and cream.
- 37:02We've all been tested and I think that if we look at stuff
- 37:06like I think I, my, my mother always said when things were
- 37:10going wrong, book a job, book a job, it's all, you know what I
- 37:13mean. So like, I think about that a
- 37:16lot in the sense of sometimes I think people stray from God
- 37:19because they can't handle the demands of his of, of the work,
- 37:26because you're called to do something.
- 37:28You're not just called to say hi, God, you're great.
- 37:31You're called to walk the path of Christ.
- 37:33That's what being a Christian is.
- 37:36Yeah, we're given a path to follow.
- 37:38Most of the time. Worshipping is like the bare
- 37:41minimum. Actually going down a going down
- 37:44a path he's called you down is something that's a lot harder
- 37:48because it's a day-to-day thing and you have to make that
- 37:50commitment every day. That's one of the reasons why I
- 37:54appreciate Brett's music so much because my first priest when I
- 37:57was a Catholic used to say that that song is to pray twice.
- 38:02And I I don't know exactly what he meant by that, but there's an
- 38:04added effort effort. Excuse me in creating of this is
- 38:09a tangent. I'll I'll keep it light in
- 38:11creating music that it's like an extra prayer, but that's neither
- 38:14here nor there. I will keep that in mind.
- 38:19Question #5 is God a person who thinks and feels or more like a
- 38:25universal force? Well, I think it's pretty
- 38:29obvious from the Bible that God feels and thinks because there's
- 38:34many times in the book of Isaiah that He's calling us to reason
- 38:38together with him because, oops, there we go.
- 38:42Because He wants us to accept the truth and because He's the
- 38:45source of all logic and reason, naturally he would call us to
- 38:49reason with him. As we see in Jesus's ministry in
- 38:53the Gospels, Jesus on more than one occasion, whether it be when
- 38:57talking to his own disciples or talking to his own critics and
- 39:00enemies, he would tell people to believe what He's saying based
- 39:04on the evidence he was providing and not the fields.
- 39:09But when it comes to God thinking and feeling like a
- 39:11personal being, we have our best examples actually in the
- 39:16passages in the Old and New Testament that talk about God's
- 39:20desire for us to repent, because I think they're the best
- 39:24examples I could think of on the fly of God's desire for us to
- 39:30get right with him. It definitely shows a lot of
- 39:34feeling. You've touched on a lot there.
- 39:37I think that for me with that question, when you look at just
- 39:41Christ flipping tables, I mean, he had, he had emotion, you know
- 39:46what I mean? And when you also talk about I
- 39:49am a jealous God, you know what I mean?
- 39:51Stuff like that kind of tends to make me feel as though there's
- 39:55certainly an emotion behind the power.
- 40:00Yeah. Now in Ezekiel chapter 18,
- 40:04verses one through 20, we basically have God talking about
- 40:07how the sins of the father are not basically taken out on the
- 40:12sons. The one who sins is the one who
- 40:13will die. But when you start in verse 21
- 40:16and you read through the end of the chapter, it takes a much
- 40:19different turn. This is where God says, But if a
- 40:23wicked person turns away from all the sins they have
- 40:26committed, and keeps all my decrees and does, what is Justin
- 40:29right, That person will surely live.
- 40:32They will not die. None of the offenses they have
- 40:35committed will be remembered against them because of the
- 40:38righteous things they have done. They will live.
- 40:41Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked?
- 40:44Declares the sovereign Lord? Rather am I not pleased when
- 40:48they turn from their wicked, turn from their ways, and live.
- 40:52But if a righteous person turns from their righteousness and
- 40:55commits sin, and does the same detestable things the wicked
- 40:57person does, will they live? None of the righteous things
- 41:01that person has done will be remembered because of the
- 41:04unfaithfulness they are guilty of and because of the sins they
- 41:06have committed, they will die. Yet you say the way of the Lord
- 41:11is not just here, You Israelites, is my way unjust?
- 41:16Is it not your ways that are unjust?
- 41:19If a righteous person turns from their righteousness and commits
- 41:21sin, they will die for it. Because of the sin they have
- 41:23committed, they will die. But if a wicked person turns
- 41:27away from the wickedness they have committed and does what is
- 41:30just and right, they will save their life because they consider
- 41:34all the offenses they have committed and turn away from
- 41:37them. That person will surely live.
- 41:39They will not die. Yet the Israelites say the way
- 41:43of the Lord is not just. Are my ways unjust?
- 41:46People of Israel, is it not your ways that are unjust?
- 41:49Therefore, you Israelites, I will judge each of you according
- 41:52to your own ways, Declares the Sovereign Lord.
- 41:55Repent. Turn away from all your
- 41:58offenses, Then sin will not be your downfall.
- 42:00Rid yourselves of all the offenses you have committed and
- 42:03get a new heart and a new spirit.
- 42:05Why will you die, people of Israel, for I take no pleasure
- 42:09in the death of anyone, Declares the Sovereign Lord.
- 42:12Repent and live. So in that passage we see more
- 42:15than once God say that he takes no pleasure in the death of the
- 42:20wicked. He takes no pleasure in the
- 42:22death of anyone. But then he also in verse 23
- 42:26turns right around and says that he is pleased when they turn
- 42:31from their ways and live. So God does feel pleasure,
- 42:36pleasure from people getting into right relationship with Him
- 42:40because it's the best thing for them.
- 42:43And when you get into right relationship with God, as we
- 42:46know from both the old and the New Testaments, God can forgive
- 42:51you of your sins through Jesus sacrifice on the cross.
- 42:55It's literally the payment for your sin Ledger for your
- 42:59criminal rap sheet with God basically.
- 43:01And so once you have submitted to God in repentance, then that
- 43:06sacrifice applies to you and then you're saved.
- 43:11You're in a personal saving relationship with God.
- 43:13And now you're at that point where it's all about
- 43:15sanctification until death. But the God definitely feels
- 43:21things and thinks things through, as we can see in this
- 43:24passage. But then there's the second
- 43:27Peter 3 passage which is much shorter but equally as powerful,
- 43:32which I will limit it to chapter 3, verses 8 through 9.
- 43:39But do not forget this one thing, dear friends with the
- 43:42Lord, a day is like 1000 years and 1000 years are like a day.
- 43:46The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise as some understand
- 43:50slowness. Instead, He is patient with you,
- 43:53not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to
- 43:57repentance. So we have here in this passage,
- 44:01contextually speaking, Peter had just finished writing about how
- 44:07scoffers would come in the last days, scoffing and following
- 44:10their own evil desires. And that they would question,
- 44:13you know, when God's second coming is and claim that
- 44:17everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation,
- 44:21Which I'm trying to remember what the scientific term for
- 44:24that is, but it's not coming to my head.
- 44:28And then talks about how people deliberately forget that God
- 44:32destroyed the world through the flood of Noah and that the flood
- 44:36of Noah would not happen again, but that the present heavens and
- 44:40earth would be destroyed by fire.
- 44:41And then in that context, he points out that God is patient
- 44:46with us because like we saw in Ezekiel, God doesn't want anyone
- 44:50to perish. He wants everyone to come to
- 44:53repentance, which means he would be pleased if you come to
- 44:57repentance. So once again, we have God
- 45:00feeling here in a way that matters a lot.
- 45:04It's not just that he gets angry at you when you sin, He gets
- 45:08angry at you when you sin because it's literally a crime
- 45:11you're committing against him. And it's also not the best thing
- 45:14for you. But when you repent and get
- 45:17right with God, then he feels pleasure from that because it's
- 45:21the best thing for us. Hopefully the viewing audience
- 45:25is understanding what I'm saying.
- 45:28What does Father Ood and Brett think about this question?
- 45:35I think Brett should go first. I'm sorry, I'm having a little
- 45:43bit of delay on that. Which are we?
- 45:47I went to the restroom just a moment ago.
- 45:50Repeat and summary. We are answering the question of
- 45:55is God a person who thinks and feels or more like a universal?
- 45:59Thought Oh yes, the emotional question.
- 46:01Sorry about that. Yes, God shows anger, God shows
- 46:04wrath. God shows joy.
- 46:08He shows that he can be pleased whenever he served properly.
- 46:13He shows in many, many different facets that he has emotions and
- 46:17revelations. There's many almost every other
- 46:20passage that shows his reaction and his feelings and emotions
- 46:26towards what he's doing while bringing the process of
- 46:29judgement forward, of course. Yeah, it's a good answer.
- 46:35I know you answered partially early on fatherhood.
- 46:38Is there any more you want to have?
- 46:39Question 5. I mean, I can, I can sum it up
- 46:42as saying that I do believe that God has emotion.
- 46:45I also believe that he is a universal force.
- 46:48It's a, it's a strange thing because I think it's a little,
- 46:51it's a little column, a little column because we can't say that
- 46:54God doesn't use our language and the emotions that were given to
- 46:59explain things to us. I guess my point is there's so
- 47:02much to him that we don't know because of how great he is that
- 47:06I can't that one I'm going to have to pick at.
- 47:12OK, with that being said, let's go into question number six.
- 47:18If God is good, why do bad things such as suffering exist?
- 47:23Well, when you get beyond the emotion that usually comes with
- 47:27asking that question, which most people who ask that question use
- 47:32that as an excuse to reject God, you see some logical things that
- 47:37stand out. For example, claiming that bad
- 47:40things are real, as in objectively bad or objectively
- 47:46evil. Well, if there's such things
- 47:48there, if there's such a thing as something being objectively
- 47:52bad or being objectively evil, that stands to reason that there
- 47:58also must be things that are objectively good.
- 48:02And when we talk about objective, we're not talking
- 48:05about things that people agree upon.
- 48:07We're talking about things that are true outside of what the
- 48:11human mind thinks. So it's true even if all of
- 48:16humanity says it's not. That's what we mean by objective
- 48:20truth. It's something that's not
- 48:22determined by the human mind. And when you look at things like
- 48:27bad things, suffering, you know, diseases and death, if those are
- 48:34objectively bad, then there must be objective good.
- 48:38And that's where God comes in. Because when you read the Bible,
- 48:42you see that God is not the one who put the suffering in the
- 48:46world. We did it through our own
- 48:49actions, our own rebellion, our own sin.
- 48:52Adam and Eve did it first, but we inherited that sin nature,
- 48:57and in the course of all of our lives, at one point or another,
- 49:02or a lot of points, we have sinned too.
- 49:06So we are actually responsible for the suffering that exists in
- 49:11the world. And by we, I mean the human race
- 49:14is a collective because most of the suffering that exists in the
- 49:18world today is a result of either what we would call
- 49:24natural disasters or just really bad conditions when it comes to
- 49:29people care, like poverty and homelessness and stuff like
- 49:34that. Or in the case of third world
- 49:36countries where dictators run everything, well, the suffering
- 49:40in those countries is mostly caused by humans who are in
- 49:44power. So yeah, if we're going to talk
- 49:49about all those things, if we're going to talk about how
- 49:52suffering exists, and then we have to eventually conclude that
- 49:55we are the ones that did it to ourselves.
- 49:58We bear most of the responsibility for the suffering
- 50:01that exists in the world, and God is not responsible for any
- 50:06of our decisions. But you know, of course atheists
- 50:10and evolutionists will do their best to try and pin it all on
- 50:13God, portraying him as an evil moral monster who is just so
- 50:18wicked and rotten that he dared to punish the Canaanites for all
- 50:22those horrible things they did. Yeah, right over there.
- 50:30Father UD, are you OK? We heard some kind of
- 50:33scrunching. He might be having an Internet
- 50:40issue. All right.
- 50:45Can you wave at us, Father UD? I'm going to try removing and
- 50:53adding. It looks like his camera froze.
- 50:56It looks like he positioned himself differently and he might
- 50:59have messed up his camera. We can put him off stage and
- 51:03then when moving again, we'll continue on.
- 51:07Were you wanting to respond more?
- 51:09And if you are interested so people don't yell at you about
- 51:13this, remember last time people were like, is Brett Keene?
- 51:17Does he answer his own questions?
- 51:19If you want me to participate, I'll be more than happy to.
- 51:22But if you want to get through the questions, that's fine as
- 51:25well. Well, since you and I are here
- 51:28at the moment, Brett, and I know you've talked about this many of
- 51:31times over the course of your Internet career, but what are
- 51:35your general thoughts on suffering existing and how that
- 51:39pertains to whether or not God is good?
- 51:43So I believe that on a scientific type of level, we
- 51:48were given the ability to be able to feel joy and happiness,
- 51:52love, peace, contentment, and all kinds of really, really
- 51:56great, wonderful feelings. But unfortunately, those
- 52:00feelings work the same way in the spectrum because what's
- 52:03happening is, is when we take damage or something feels good
- 52:08to us, it sends signals to our brain letting us know if
- 52:11something is good or bad. I believe, I believe it's all
- 52:14the process of free will. Although there is love and you
- 52:17can feel that, you can also feel what it.
- 52:21The same signals will tell you the information that my heart
- 52:25was broken, I've been abandoned, I've been neglected, I've had
- 52:29this happen. But if you think about it,
- 52:31ladies and gentlemen, 80% to 90% of pain and suffering that
- 52:36happens in this world is whenever your loved ones or
- 52:39strangers do things to you. Had they followed what Jesus
- 52:43tells them to do and do unto others as they want done unto
- 52:46themself, there wouldn't be a majority of suffering in the
- 52:50world. And then there'd be left with
- 52:53just nature. And what happens, The process of
- 52:55life and death and death is simply a transition to God.
- 53:00It's a doorway to take you to God.
- 53:02It's not meant to be a horrible experience for you folks.
- 53:09That is a great answer Brett and that's going to be well
- 53:13received, I think by the viewing audience after the fact and
- 53:16during I have fathers Internet drop.
- 53:22OK, So the next question on our docket is can we understand God
- 53:32just by thinking or do we need spiritual guidance?
- 53:37Now, when I see that question, I immediately think of the people
- 53:43who were like, we don't need the Bible to understand God, we just
- 53:47need to follow the Spirit. And when I think of that, I
- 53:52think, well, there's some problems that come with that.
- 53:57So I think the answer to the question is that we understand
- 54:01God through spiritual guidance that He provides us through His
- 54:07written word, the Bible. What I generally find is that
- 54:12when you make an effort to understand what the Bible says,
- 54:17teaches, records, then that will make you an excellent filter to
- 54:23filter through the different voices that are telling you
- 54:26things in your head. And when I say voices, I don't
- 54:28mean your own voices or voice. I mean the spirits that put
- 54:33thoughts in your head. Thoughts that might seem to line
- 54:37up with what God says or might outright contradict what God
- 54:40says, but is presented in a like polite, loving manner.
- 54:47I think the thing about knowing your Bible is when you know your
- 54:50Bible, you know what's objectively true based on God's
- 54:54revealed written word. And then that helps you filter
- 54:58through these other things that you're thinking.
- 55:00They're like, OK, that lines up with the Bible.
- 55:02I, I guess it's OK to entertain that thought.
- 55:05Oh no, no, that is completely contrary to the Bible.
- 55:08I am not going to entertain that thought.
- 55:10That process becomes a lot easier when you know your Bible
- 55:13because then you're not as swayed and pulled by emotional
- 55:17stuff regarding those thoughts. But I've also seen the opposite.
- 55:22When people are biblically ignorant, they don't know what
- 55:25the Bible says, teaches, or records, and then they have all
- 55:28that stuff going on. Well, it's like what the
- 55:30Scripture says. They're just pulled to and fro.
- 55:33They're just pulled every which way, you know, and they're not
- 55:37able to stand on God's Word because they don't know it.
- 55:41And they just get pulled around by all this stuff and it causes
- 55:44all kinds of heartache and all kinds of spiritual duress, I
- 55:49guess would be the phrase for that.
- 55:53You know, TTOR, this is one of the this is one of the questions
- 55:57that really impacts me personally because I ran into a
- 56:01lot of Christians back whenever I was a former non believer
- 56:04where I would have debates and discussions.
- 56:07And I don't know if you remember one of the first questions I
- 56:09used to ask Christians. Do you remember?
- 56:13No, I don't. And people would look at me
- 56:16crazy for asking this, but I before I even got into a
- 56:19discussion with them, my question was, have you actually
- 56:23read the Bible cover to cover? I would directly ask any
- 56:27question whether I was out in public or if I was getting ready
- 56:31to do something on a video. And a lot of them admitted,
- 56:34well, I've skimmed through it. I've read the important passages
- 56:38and I said, how do you know that the passages that you didn't
- 56:42read weren't important or relevant as well?
- 56:45And it put me in a position where I, I felt like if you
- 56:50believe this is the word of God, but you haven't taken the time
- 56:53and all your years to actually read this or care about it, then
- 56:57how can you convince me that you were ever interested in a
- 57:00relationship with God when you don't want to get to know him or
- 57:04what he's trying to say? And it would be pretty much
- 57:08trickling down where the religious person would destroy
- 57:10themselves in the debate. A person who's well has a good
- 57:16foundation like yourself, TTR, would never fall into those kind
- 57:20of traps because you actually care about what you believe in
- 57:23and you've taken the time to read it.
- 57:25Does that make sense? Yeah, that makes sense to me.
- 57:28It's totally accurate. Now that father Ude has
- 57:33returned. The question I just answered and
- 57:36that Brett just answered was can we understand God by just
- 57:41thinking or do we need spiritual guidance?
- 57:45I want to do one thing real quick about suffering and then
- 57:48I'll go on to this one. I believe the suffering is a
- 57:50great teacher and that unfortunately it's part of life
- 57:53because we need to learn. And I also believe that we have
- 57:58to remember that we're talking about eternity with God and that
- 58:02unfortunately the life is hard. What do you got 80 years of suck
- 58:06and then an eternity with the Father.
- 58:09So unfortunately suffering is is is part of the learning process.
- 58:14Beyond that, when it comes to spiritual guidance or doing it
- 58:17yourself, I honestly think that we have with free will,
- 58:20individual relationships with God because you've got people
- 58:22who go to the Catholic Church that wouldn't touch the Bible
- 58:25because there's a belief that, you know, the, the priest is the
- 58:29one who's supposed to give it to you.
- 58:30In my faith, we do say, Hey, read the Bible because we don't
- 58:34really do that. We're promised into a degree,
- 58:37but I, I do believe that it's on an individual level.
- 58:42I, I think that as you read the word you do, it doesn't part to
- 58:47you spiritual guidance by nature, especially when you get
- 58:50to Romans 12 and you start to see stuff like knowing in your
- 58:56heart the right thing because you've got God in your heart.
- 58:59I think that that would say that as you're learning and as you
- 59:03become closer with God, you do get a, a little bit of a tap on
- 59:10the shoulder. How about I put it that way?
- 59:14OK that's a way to put it for sure.
- 59:17Boy someone should make a video game of the Bible and every
- 59:22aspect of it like a 500 hour video game.
- 59:28It's gonna be real boring when you hit Paul.
- 59:32Oh boy. Yeah.
- 59:33Well, that, yeah, that's actually a good point because
- 59:37only some parts of the Bible are exciting in that way.
- 59:40Like, you know, the story of Samson or King David's life or,
- 59:45you know, the flood of Noah or Genesis, you know, the early
- 59:48parts of Genesis, you know, Jesus's ministry.
- 59:51But yeah, then there are parts that are, well, less exciting
- 59:55because they're not historical narratives.
- 59:57You know, the Psalms, the Proverbs.
- 1:00:00Pretty much. Well, most of the prophets
- 1:00:03letters in the Old Testament. And then, like you were saying,
- 1:00:06Paul's letters, yeah, there's parts of the Bible that would
- 1:00:11not translate well to a video game because they're literally
- 1:00:13just letters that people wrote. Well, not every not every video
- 1:00:20games got to be an action, you know, FPS shooter or anything
- 1:00:24like that. It could be something where it's
- 1:00:26like a educational thing where you're a time traveler that goes
- 1:00:31back in time and you meet all the figures and, and they teach
- 1:00:34you about things and about why they did the things they did.
- 1:00:37That kind of stuff more of a historical educational type of
- 1:00:41game that would work. But if you're looking for Rambo
- 1:00:44Meets the Predator, I'm sorry, not going to happen.
- 1:00:48Honestly, Brett, with the way with the way technology is
- 1:00:51going, I think we're talking about an inevitability.
- 1:00:53I mean, you're going to have a time where learning the Bible is
- 1:00:56strapping on AVR set that regardless of how creepy that
- 1:00:59sounds, I wonder how that would work out.
- 1:01:01But I do think that what you're bringing up here is something
- 1:01:05that maybe I'm not super into, but I do think might happen
- 1:01:08regardless. You believe that AI is going to
- 1:01:13play a part in religion. Well, believe it or not, me and
- 1:01:16TTOR, we, we've talked about this quite a bit and it already
- 1:01:20seems to be having a major impact.
- 1:01:23Remember, TTOR was telling you that there's actually some
- 1:01:26preachers out there that are using AI in order to help, how
- 1:01:31shall I say, revise their sermons and all that kind of
- 1:01:34stuff to give them better ideas to talk about.
- 1:01:37But it comes off like you said, TTR, you were right about this.
- 1:01:42Is it authentic or are they just using it to cut a few shortcuts?
- 1:01:47You know what I mean? Right, like how in schools they
- 1:01:49use the AI to write the whole papers so that way they can
- 1:01:53spend more time playing video games or going to parties or
- 1:01:56whatever. Yeah, I don't know how.
- 1:01:58I don't know how I feel about AI in my sermon.
- 1:02:00It feels a little dirty. There's something about it just
- 1:02:03doesn't sit right. Well using AI as a study tool
- 1:02:06can be helpful because it processes information so fast
- 1:02:11and has access to a lot, but you should always Fact Check it and
- 1:02:16only use it as a supplemental tool versus a primary
- 1:02:20information gatherer. Well, there, there is some,
- 1:02:24there is some good positive things that you can do with it,
- 1:02:27especially if you're a preacher where you're getting old and age
- 1:02:30and all that and your memory isn't what it was.
- 1:02:33You could say, can you display 25 incidences where Jesus Christ
- 1:02:41showed compassion or God of the Old Testament in comparison,
- 1:02:45things like that and and the thing can get you what you need
- 1:02:48in less than 30 seconds flat. If you're having issues, if you
- 1:02:53become older or you're, you know, your body starting to
- 1:02:56break down, brain ain't working as sharp as it used to be.
- 1:03:01Yeah, I could see where that would be helpful.
- 1:03:03Yeah, totally. Of course then there was that
- 1:03:07video I did recently that I don't know that father who has
- 1:03:10seen about where I asked Grok and copilot and ChatGPT to
- 1:03:20compare young and older of creationism together and see
- 1:03:23which one lines up with the Bible more.
- 1:03:26And they all the AI said it was young Earth creationism and that
- 1:03:30made Smokey Sanko on that wildtangent for a couple weeks.
- 1:03:35Well, TTR and myself, I thought your video was fascinating and I
- 1:03:40actually went on to copilot privately and all that and, and
- 1:03:43ask it. And it's true.
- 1:03:45The AI is actually convinced that if you go strictly on the
- 1:03:49Bible that the young Earth model actually fits more.
- 1:03:54I know that some people out there got bothered and that
- 1:03:57pissed them off, but for me it was like, well, this is what the
- 1:04:01AI has its view on. And the AI is simply taking the
- 1:04:06information from arguments all over the net as well as from the
- 1:04:11Bible itself. And it's, it makes sense.
- 1:04:13There's a lot of a lot of young earthers out there.
- 1:04:16Go ahead of. Course, if you ask the AI, you
- 1:04:19know, is younger of creationism true versus something like
- 1:04:23evolution billions of years, Big Bang cosmology, it'll take
- 1:04:27evolution, Big Bang cosmology the time, every single time
- 1:04:32because the people that program the AI are in Silicon Valley and
- 1:04:36young Earth creationists didn't program ChatGPT.
- 1:04:39So I expected to do that in those scenarios.
- 1:04:43But ChatGPT is a good analysis tool if you are having it
- 1:04:48compare and contrast to things that it doesn't necessarily have
- 1:04:51skin in the game for. I find it's very useful for
- 1:04:55stuff like that. I have seen a couple guys like
- 1:04:59Steven Meyer and another Christian theologian actually go
- 1:05:03at it with the AI. Other Christians are starting to
- 1:05:06do what we're doing TTOR, and they managed to get the AI to
- 1:05:11admit that God is real and that it makes perfectly rational,
- 1:05:15logical sense. And they did like a play with it
- 1:05:19or mess with it. They just simply use logic and
- 1:05:22rationality in order to determine the outcome and the AI
- 1:05:26agreed with them. So if what you said bothered
- 1:05:29people, they're really going to get tickled whenever they hear
- 1:05:33AI actually stating God is real. Right.
- 1:05:38And then we see that this user says Twitters or Xers worship
- 1:05:43Crock as a God. And there is an element of truth
- 1:05:47to that. Mark Dice recently did a video
- 1:05:50talking about how AI that we're talking about like ChatGPT and
- 1:05:56Copilot and Grok, etcetera. Basically, people are using
- 1:06:00those AI systems instead of search engines like Google to
- 1:06:04look up information on topics, which makes some people nervous.
- 1:06:12But it also could be troubling in the future because there have
- 1:06:15been documented cases where in order to, you know, pertain to a
- 1:06:20narrative, to pertain to the party line, so to speak, these
- 1:06:24AI systems would actually make up facts, make up stuff in order
- 1:06:30to maintain a narrative. And even when people would Fact
- 1:06:34Check these AI systems on these falsehoods, it was saying the AI
- 1:06:38systems were very slow to let go of the falsehoods.
- 1:06:41You basically had to beat it into submission via prompts to
- 1:06:45get it to admit. OK, that's not true, I'm wrong.
- 1:06:49Well, TTOR, I would argue and, and some people are going to
- 1:06:52probably get all over me for this, but I, I think that AI,
- 1:06:56especially Grok and chat TTP is better as a search engine than
- 1:07:02what Google's doing. And Google's actually trying to
- 1:07:04incorporate their copilot and their AI into their search
- 1:07:09engine because they know there's a problem.
- 1:07:11Like for instance TTOR, if I go to Grok and I say I want to be
- 1:07:16able to read articles that are pro young earth, I don't want
- 1:07:21any nonsense or any buffoonery or the criticisms.
- 1:07:24I just want to hear the argument itself.
- 1:07:27Grok will give me hundreds of sources and things to show the
- 1:07:32pro version of it. Now if I go directly to Google
- 1:07:35or one of these stupid search engines, I'm going to receive
- 1:07:38thousands of pages of people making fun of it and mocking it,
- 1:07:42and I'm going to have to weed through a lot of garbage in
- 1:07:45order to find the actual arguments.
- 1:07:47So in that way, AI is superior to the search engine.
- 1:07:52Right. And it's also superior to like
- 1:07:54YouTube search because when I try go searching for young Earth
- 1:07:58creationism content on YouTube, for example, like you said, I'll
- 1:08:02typically find a whole bunch of content that's critical of it or
- 1:08:06making fun of it, not doing like any kind of objective accurate
- 1:08:10analysis of the topic. Which is partially why I've made
- 1:08:14so many videos over the last decade on that topic, because
- 1:08:18I'm basically creating a whole, a whole library of information
- 1:08:21that maybe will get picked up by the algorithm when someone looks
- 1:08:25at topics like that. But.
- 1:08:28Yeah, that's true. Grok will if you prompt it, it
- 1:08:31will give you exactly what you asked for.
- 1:08:34And if you ask it for links, it'll give you links too for
- 1:08:37what it's saying. So in compared to search
- 1:08:40engines, yeah, it is way superior.
- 1:08:43That's probably why people are complaining about people using
- 1:08:47it in replacement of the search engine, because over the last 10
- 1:08:51years, search engines have become so sanitized that they're
- 1:08:54borderline useless. I mean, the only reason I even
- 1:08:58use Google Search now is because they have that AI overview at
- 1:09:02the top of all their search queries.
- 1:09:04And so I can see generally what it's saying through AI, and then
- 1:09:08the AI will give me links behind what it's saying and then I can
- 1:09:11look at the search results and see if there's anything in
- 1:09:14addition to that. But yeah, even these days when I
- 1:09:18use Google, I mostly go with what it's AI overview says and
- 1:09:21the links it provides. Cause going through an actual
- 1:09:25search engine, oh God, that's like splitting hairs.
- 1:09:28It takes so long to find what you're looking for.
- 1:09:32I'll give you one more example and then we can move on to the
- 1:09:35questions. If you like.
- 1:09:36TTR, about a a few months ago, I was set to debate a guy on
- 1:09:41socialism and communism. I don't know if you remember,
- 1:09:45Brother Maverick also joined me for the discussion.
- 1:09:47I think you came in for a little bit and pointed out your views.
- 1:09:52This guy, this atheist, was absolutely angry with me because
- 1:09:56I was able to within a moment be able to find out the socialism,
- 1:10:00communism has never worked in the long term in any country
- 1:10:04whatsoever. That in fact it actually caused
- 1:10:07the societies to fall and their economies to crash and
- 1:10:11everything else. And when he seen me use an AI,
- 1:10:14he was like, you're cheating. And I'm like, how am I cheating?
- 1:10:18If you open up a book and you decide to read about, you know,
- 1:10:21where you think it works, what's the difference between me simply
- 1:10:25researching the information this way and getting the sources?
- 1:10:29And of course, he ended up getting absolutely destroyed in
- 1:10:32the debate. Everybody agreed.
- 1:10:35But yeah, I worked out good as an assistant.
- 1:10:39Yeah, that is definitely true. Yeah, it just reminds me of so
- 1:10:47much. But I'm looking at the next
- 1:10:51question on our list, which is, is God a single being or
- 1:10:57composed of parts or persons like the Christian Trinity?
- 1:11:02Now, I've made videos in the past on my channel for those of
- 1:11:05you in the viewing audience out there defending the doctrine of
- 1:11:09the Trinity. Because when you go to the
- 1:11:11Bible, while the word Trinity does not appear in the Bible,
- 1:11:15the concept does, namely the concept of God being three
- 1:11:21divine persons with one divine nature.
- 1:11:25So if you have that fancy diagram on screen, which I
- 1:11:28currently don't, but I'm sure everyone watching is familiar
- 1:11:31with it, God is not God the Father.
- 1:11:35It is not God the Son, which is Jesus.
- 1:11:38God the Son is not the Holy Spirit.
- 1:11:41Holy Spirit is not God the Father, but God the Father is
- 1:11:45God, Holy Spirit is God, Jesus is God.
- 1:11:49So that creates a triangle where you have the middle part, which
- 1:11:54is God. All three of them are connecting
- 1:11:57to it. So you can find that concept in
- 1:12:01the Bible because you see that Jesus refers to God the Father
- 1:12:06as a different person from himself in the Gospels, which is
- 1:12:09why he told people on 2 occasions God the Father was in
- 1:12:12heaven. Because there are people today
- 1:12:14who want to tell you that God the Father was inside of Jesus
- 1:12:18during his earthly ministry, and yet Jesus himself said he was in
- 1:12:21heaven. And then we also see that Jesus
- 1:12:25talks about the Holy Spirit as being a different person from
- 1:12:29himself. But then Jesus identifies
- 1:12:32himself as God and John 858 explicitly.
- 1:12:36And we obviously know God the Father is God.
- 1:12:39But then we see that Jesus and the Holy Spirit all have divine
- 1:12:43attributes in the Bible that are prescribed to God the Father.
- 1:12:48So in the Bible we see that Jesus the Holy Spirit and God
- 1:12:53the Father are all God because they all have the same divine
- 1:12:57attributes. And at the end of the Gospel of
- 1:12:59Matthew, it literally says that the Father, the Son, and the
- 1:13:03Holy Spirit have the same name, singular.
- 1:13:08So even though the word Trinity is not in the Bible, the Bible
- 1:13:12does teach the concept of the Trinity in that way.
- 1:13:17And so when we're talking about God, he is a Trinitarian God.
- 1:13:23And the reason why I'm OK with this is because there is
- 1:13:27scripture that talks about how God is not like anything inside
- 1:13:31of his creation at all. There's nothing we can look at
- 1:13:35to compare his nature to and then understand it better
- 1:13:39because no one else in all of reality is a Trinitarian being.
- 1:13:45We're all one person, 1 spirit. We're not three persons and one
- 1:13:51being. We don't have a, you know,
- 1:13:54divine attributes like God. God is completely unique in his
- 1:13:57nature. It goes beyond human
- 1:13:59understanding. I mean, I can sort of understand
- 1:14:02it on a conceptual level, but I can't like really get my hands
- 1:14:07on that because I'm not like that.
- 1:14:09There's nothing like that inside of creation.
- 1:14:12And so I allow God to be God in that regard.
- 1:14:17I myself, I, you remember I had a tough time with the Trinity
- 1:14:22for a while and remember I used to argue with the TTOR and will
- 1:14:26not argue with you. We had open discussion about it
- 1:14:29and you ended up showing me a lot of different passages that
- 1:14:32helped me be able to get over the edge on that concept.
- 1:14:36But I thought to myself a while back, I thought, since God made
- 1:14:40us in his image, surely we should have some kind of
- 1:14:44something that's similar to how God works with this mechanism.
- 1:14:49And I looked and surprisingly, I don't know if you knew this TTOR
- 1:14:53as well as Jude. Humans have mechanisms within
- 1:14:56their brain in order to make their mind work called the Ed,
- 1:15:00the Super ego, and then the the standard ego that we have.
- 1:15:04We literally have these three major parts that work within us
- 1:15:07while we dream and while we're conscious, that work together
- 1:15:12and tangent in order to keep our moral grounding and how we make
- 1:15:17choices and decisions in existence.
- 1:15:19So in a way, humans actually have their own form of Trinity
- 1:15:24within them on a psychological level.
- 1:15:26Isn't that something? I don't know if you're
- 1:15:29interested in PTOR because I know you're hosting, so it's
- 1:15:32your rules. But it appears as though your
- 1:15:36pal Smokey is here. You want to try it or what?
- 1:15:40I'll think, I'll think about it as we continue on.
- 1:15:43Although I did just realize that I kind of already answered
- 1:15:47question #10 which is, are our words too limited to fully
- 1:15:51describe what God is like? And the answer to that in all
- 1:15:55capitals with at least 5 exclamation points is yes, our
- 1:16:00words are too limited because there's nothing in creation
- 1:16:04that's like God. Therefore, because there's
- 1:16:07nothing in creation that's even like Him at all, we're not going
- 1:16:11to be able to have the words to fully describe what He's like.
- 1:16:15As a matter of fact, in the book of Isaiah, there's only one
- 1:16:18thing God gives us to compare to him, and it's the universe
- 1:16:23itself, the heavens. Basically how the stars in the
- 1:16:28universe seem to be infinite in number, and yet God not only
- 1:16:32knows the number of the stars, but he knows the names of each
- 1:16:36one of them, which is like boom, mind blown.
- 1:16:40So yeah, God is way beyond our ability to fully describe
- 1:16:44because there's nothing like Him.
- 1:16:47And he politely says that. He politely says that.
- 1:16:49And you'd have a better chance of counting every grain of sand
- 1:16:52on the beach than fully understanding the Trinity.
- 1:16:55And gentlemen, I, I'm, I am sorry to have popped in like
- 1:16:58this. I've enjoyed this fully.
- 1:17:00I have an early morning with the Bishop tomorrow.
- 1:17:02But thank you very, very much for having me.
- 1:17:04And I would love to come again, but have a great night.
- 1:17:07We usually do things on Monday or Fridays, usually around
- 1:17:11either 6 to 8, sometimes even 9:00 PM.
- 1:17:14You're always welcome to come in when you come in.
- 1:17:17During my time, whenever he's not answering questions, it'll
- 1:17:20be more open up a discussion. You can ask questions and also
- 1:17:24throw your own stuff out there. Ideas and topics.
- 1:17:27I'm good. Sounds good.
- 1:17:28Thank you very much, Brett. Have a good day.
- 1:17:31You too? Yeah, and I see Smokey dipped
- 1:17:39out already. Well, what kind of solves that?
- 1:17:42But since we kind of just skipped over 10 and answered it
- 1:17:46already, question #9 I'm not quite understanding.
- 1:17:52It says how can God be simple but have qualities like love and
- 1:17:56justice? What is simple mean in the
- 1:17:58context of this question, Brett? Well, there's, I've heard some
- 1:18:03religious folks that say that God is simple, which I don't
- 1:18:06understand where the hell they get that idea from.
- 1:18:09And I've as far as I'm concerned, whenever it comes to
- 1:18:13love and some of these different attributes, these are not simple
- 1:18:18attributes. Anyone that's ever been involved
- 1:18:21where love is a part of the equation will tell you that boy
- 1:18:25oh boy, things can be very messy and very complex to navigate.
- 1:18:31Yeah, that is true, but like we just finished talking about the
- 1:18:35concept of the Trinity. I mean that alone kind of proves
- 1:18:39that God is not simple. But as far as his qualities like
- 1:18:45love and justice, I think, I think the question maybe is
- 1:18:48hinting towards the old line of thinking where how can a just
- 1:18:56and loving God allow evil and suffering in the world?
- 1:19:00Well, I think the simple fact of the matter is that God is
- 1:19:04infinite in all of his attributes.
- 1:19:06So his wrath and his vengeance and his justice is infinite,
- 1:19:10sure, but so is his love and His mercy.
- 1:19:15And that's what the gospel is all about.
- 1:19:18God is not going to let sin slide.
- 1:19:21He is going to hold everyone accountable for the crimes
- 1:19:24they've committed against Him and other human beings.
- 1:19:28But before we get to that point, He gives us a way out.
- 1:19:32Essentially a chance to avoid getting what's coming to us.
- 1:19:36Mainly a chance to repent and have our sin Ledger wiped clean
- 1:19:42so that we can then be in right relationship with God and spend
- 1:19:45eternity with Him. That's the good news of the
- 1:19:49gospel, and it shows how God's love and His mercy does not
- 1:19:54conflict with His other attributes like His vengeance,
- 1:19:58His justice, His wrath. They don't conflict at all.
- 1:20:02And he frankly can handle those much better than we can.
- 1:20:06I mean, the fact that He gives every single human being a
- 1:20:11chance to get right with him, no matter what sick, twisted freaks
- 1:20:15they are, That's a level of love and mercy that I am simply not
- 1:20:22capable of, and that most. People, if not all people, are
- 1:20:26simply just not capable of because as you know, Brett,
- 1:20:30there are some people out there who are so sick, twisted and
- 1:20:34depraved that they honestly have forfeited their right to live on
- 1:20:38the earth as a living being because of what they've done.
- 1:20:42It's that bad. But yet God is so.
- 1:20:44But God is so much more loving than I am and so much more
- 1:20:48loving than we are, that even to those people, whatever their
- 1:20:52window of opportunity is, they have one with God.
- 1:20:56That's a level of love and mercy that is beyond human ability,
- 1:21:00beyond human nature, I think. It's, it's not just that I've,
- 1:21:06this may come off weird, but I've actually, I've actually
- 1:21:09felt sorry for God in the sense that he can actually look into
- 1:21:14our mind and be able to transcribe our thoughts.
- 1:21:18And 90 I would say 80% of the world seems absolutely crazy.
- 1:21:22But could you imagine having this ability where you could
- 1:21:26read the minds of people? Even the most loving, kindest
- 1:21:29people, probably in the back of their mind have vengeful ideas
- 1:21:34and they're angry about something or would like to punch
- 1:21:37somebody from time to time, even no matter how good their
- 1:21:40behavior is on the outside. I could imagine having to see
- 1:21:44that all the time. Oh my goodness.
- 1:21:49Yeah, I get what you're saying in that regard.
- 1:21:52I'm just looking at the questions here.
- 1:21:55Let's see. Question #11 We feel sorry, but
- 1:22:00because obviously in his nature he can handle this.
- 1:22:03But what would the word be? Sympathize.
- 1:22:08Right, Yeah, it's hard to describe.
- 1:22:11Question #11 is interesting though.
- 1:22:14Do spiritual or mystical experiences tell us more about
- 1:22:17God than religious teachings? Now, that makes me think of
- 1:22:21those people I mentioned before who think that the Bible is
- 1:22:24optional or that it just simply doesn't matter.
- 1:22:30And they put all their emphasis on having these spiritual
- 1:22:33experiences. Kind of reminds me of people who
- 1:22:36go hopping from one church to another because they're looking
- 1:22:39to have a spiritual experience, usually one that occurs during
- 1:22:44worship service where they find themselves, you know, full of
- 1:22:47the Holy Ghost and behaving and acting in ways that are
- 1:22:51certainly strange to the outside observer.
- 1:22:55I think the answer to this question though, is that while
- 1:22:58spiritual and mystical experiences do happen, they
- 1:23:03cannot tell us more about God than religious teachings do,
- 1:23:07especially where the Bible is concerned.
- 1:23:10Because the Bible just touches on so many different aspects of
- 1:23:14human nature and the way the world works, the way the human
- 1:23:18psyche works, just a whole myriad of other topics.
- 1:23:24There's things that we just can't know without reading the
- 1:23:28Bible. No spiritual or mystical
- 1:23:30experience can tell us half the stuff that's written in the Word
- 1:23:34of God. We can only feel certain
- 1:23:36emotions or maybe we get certain things told to us.
- 1:23:40But with very few exceptions, exceptions like people who God
- 1:23:46actually revealed His written word to before it was written
- 1:23:49down. With few exceptions like that,
- 1:23:52most people will learn a lot more about God through the Bible
- 1:23:55than they will through a spiritual or mystical
- 1:23:58experience. I think at best a spiritual or
- 1:24:02mystical experience is merely A supplemental, supplemental
- 1:24:07experience to simply knowing the Bible and accepting it.
- 1:24:15What do you think? Unfortunately TTR I've been
- 1:24:21having some issue with my guts as of late and I've been having
- 1:24:24to go into the bathroom and all that.
- 1:24:26Can you give me a summary? Again, I'm sorry I can't see the
- 1:24:29text on there and although there are questions I can't remember
- 1:24:33all 50. The question was, do spiritual
- 1:24:37or mystical experiences tell us more about God than religious
- 1:24:40teachings? It depends.
- 1:24:44It depends on who you are. If you're Moses or Abraham and
- 1:24:48God is speaking to you directly. I do think that people educating
- 1:24:53each other, I mean, I told you on countless occasions, you as
- 1:24:57well as other Christians that you've been effective in helping
- 1:25:00me with my walk. So I think in some senses it's
- 1:25:05very, very good. I think that if you find the
- 1:25:07right people to fellowship with, that could be it could help you
- 1:25:11in a lot of different ways personally and spiritually.
- 1:25:14But if God is talking to you audibly, like He did with a lot
- 1:25:18of the people in the Bible, then not really much anybody can say
- 1:25:23to you that God isn't already going to rock'n'roll about.
- 1:25:27If you are, unfortunately I'm going to have to use the
- 1:25:29restroom again, I apologize. No problem, I can keep people
- 1:25:34entertained with the sound of my voice.
- 1:25:37I'm currently just looking at the questions here as you guys
- 1:25:40can see on screen. Seeing which ones I want to
- 1:25:43interact with next cuz I'm thinking one or two more
- 1:25:45questions then we'll call it a live stream.
- 1:25:50I'm just trying to think of trying to see which ones will be
- 1:25:52the best 2 to answer. I guess while I'm looking at
- 1:26:00these last two questions, I'll give you guys an update about
- 1:26:03what's upcoming on my channel, especially those of you who are
- 1:26:07watching the TTOR live stream. I have a new video coming out
- 1:26:12tomorrow after I get home from church and grocery shopping.
- 1:26:17Of course, it's going to be a video about the recent news
- 1:26:21story about the new information regarding the chimp in human
- 1:26:25genomes and the differences between them.
- 1:26:28Basically, an evolution myth has been busted, has been debunked,
- 1:26:34and I'm going to be documenting this in a video tomorrow.
- 1:26:37So you will definitely, if you're watching this, you will
- 1:26:41definitely want to subscribe and you will definitely want to stay
- 1:26:45tuned for that video because it is a doozy.
- 1:26:48It does involve reading articles and actually going to scientific
- 1:26:53papers in order to make the points about what I'm talking
- 1:26:57about that I do. It's going to be a great, great
- 1:27:00video and I'm sure the atheists and evolutionists are going to
- 1:27:04love me and embrace me. Of open arms attached to middle
- 1:27:08fingers. But anyway, that's what's coming
- 1:27:11tomorrow. And then I've started work on a
- 1:27:15brand new series. I've done videos about the
- 1:27:18atheist YouTube Paula Gia in the past.
- 1:27:21But in 2022, he did this video where he put out these
- 1:27:27stipulations that Kent Hovind would have to meet in order for
- 1:27:30Paula Gia to do a debate with him.
- 1:27:32Because at the time Kent Hovind was constantly calling him to
- 1:27:37debate him. So apology in this video laid
- 1:27:39out his stipulations for what he would what he what would have to
- 1:27:44be meant for him to do a debate with Kent Hovind.
- 1:27:47But then he spends the rest of the video giving his three best
- 1:27:50evidences for evolution. Now back in 2022, I made a video
- 1:27:56responding to his stipulations for Kent Hovind to debate him
- 1:28:00and pointed out the hypocrisy of the stipulations.
- 1:28:03And I said back then that I would eventually make a video
- 1:28:06responding to his best evidences for evolution.
- 1:28:09Unfortunately, the amount of information that Paula Gia
- 1:28:13provides about each of his evidences for evolution is
- 1:28:18really long, and so I'm going to have to make a separate video
- 1:28:22for each one of his evidences. And so I'm working on Part 1 of
- 1:28:26that three-part series. I don't know when it's going to
- 1:28:29come out. I have to get the research and
- 1:28:32work done and script it. And then I got to actually film
- 1:28:35and produce and edit and all that good lovely American
- 1:28:38YouTube stuff. So, but I just want you guys to
- 1:28:42know that that's something I am working on.
- 1:28:44It is coming out in the near future.
- 1:28:47Hopefully I can get Part 1 at least out by the end of August.
- 1:28:51And the whole trilogy will be nice too, because Apologia, as
- 1:28:57he says in his video, the three evidences for evolution that he
- 1:29:01presents are not just the best evidences that he's aware of,
- 1:29:05but he says that these evidences are what personally converted
- 1:29:09him to being an evolutionist. So I just have this feeling that
- 1:29:14as I go through his three evidences that convinced him
- 1:29:17that evolution is true, that I'm going to be severely
- 1:29:21unimpressed. I just got that feeling, but I
- 1:29:24have to actually do the legwork of seeing what he says and
- 1:29:27looking at information about what he's saying and all that
- 1:29:30good stuff that you people like about my videos in the past.
- 1:29:34So that's all on the horizon. That's coming soon.
- 1:29:40I think I got one of the last two questions all picked out.
- 1:29:43We're going to skip to the question 21.
- 1:29:47How does God's plan work with people making their own choices?
- 1:29:54Because that's something that I guess would bother some people.
- 1:29:58Or at least 'cause them some confusion, I guess would be the
- 1:30:02word. Because there are people out
- 1:30:04there who think that God has a plan for each and every one of
- 1:30:07our lives, and somehow that plan can be dethroned if we decide to
- 1:30:12go in a direction that seems to be contrary to what God wants.
- 1:30:18But as I've explained already in this live stream, God sees the
- 1:30:23outcome of every single choice that every single person makes.
- 1:30:28When a choice is made, God sees how that choice will play out
- 1:30:32and not just affect the person making the choice, but how it
- 1:30:35will affect other people as well.
- 1:30:38And God can see the bigger picture path of where that
- 1:30:41choice will lead someone. So God understands every outcome
- 1:30:48for every choice. He sees it all and nothing can
- 1:30:51surprise him. Therefore, so God's plan, he
- 1:30:57knows before any one of us even existed the choices that we
- 1:31:02would make in our life and where they would lead.
- 1:31:04And so He may have a plan for us, and then we may choose to
- 1:31:09reject that plan or that call. But even our rejection and going
- 1:31:14another way in that scenario is something that God foresaw.
- 1:31:19He knows what people will freely choose to do because He knows
- 1:31:23their hearts so well. And you can just go through the
- 1:31:26Old and New Testament and you can find passage upon passage
- 1:31:30about how God knows us so intimately.
- 1:31:33He knows us down to our very molecule.
- 1:31:36He knows us better than we know ourselves.
- 1:31:39He knows our nature and our psychology better than we know
- 1:31:43ourselves. And so we can't really do
- 1:31:46anything that he didn't see coming because he knows us so
- 1:31:50well and he knows what we will freely choose to do.
- 1:31:53So I would say that God's plan works just fine with people
- 1:31:57making their own choices, because God takes that into
- 1:32:00account when it comes to having a grand plan for someone's life.
- 1:32:08I'm back, mother teeth. You are sorry about that?
- 1:32:12I was just answering question 21, which is how does God's plan
- 1:32:15work with people making their own choices?
- 1:32:19As you know, T2 are you and I've talked about this.
- 1:32:22I'm a compatibilist and I believe that some things are
- 1:32:26predetermined. Predestined and set in stone is
- 1:32:29where their framework allows for free will and the choice of man.
- 1:32:34I wish that they would change the concept of free will to a
- 1:32:39more appropriate word though to more based upon the constraints
- 1:32:44of the law and our nature though.
- 1:32:45I see. I'll give you an example.
- 1:32:50Although a lot of atheists think that when it says free will,
- 1:32:54that means that we could simply choose to do anything like climb
- 1:32:58up on a building and start flying like Superman or
- 1:33:00something. No Free will choice is based
- 1:33:04upon our nature, limitations and potential.
- 1:33:10That is a good point. Now the last question we will
- 1:33:13answer before we end this live stream is question #24 can we
- 1:33:20ever fully understand God's plan or just parts of it?
- 1:33:25And I think the answer to that question is pretty obvious.
- 1:33:31I don't think anyone can ever fully understand God's plan
- 1:33:36before it happens. But as my dad has pointed out to
- 1:33:39me many times, you can look back in retrospect at the way things
- 1:33:44went in your life, and you can look back and you can point out
- 1:33:47the places where God definitely stepped in and had us go certain
- 1:33:52ways to get to where we are today.
- 1:33:53It's like, well, if I hadn't done that, then all of this
- 1:33:56stuff wouldn't have happened, which was all good.
- 1:33:57And if I hadn't done these, then this wouldn't have happened,
- 1:34:00which is also good. If you can, if you track with
- 1:34:04what I'm saying, basically, we can understand God's plan in
- 1:34:07part when it's behind us, when it's in retrospect, but when
- 1:34:12it's right in front of us and we were going through it, we rarely
- 1:34:15ever can fully understand God's plan.
- 1:34:20I've had a lot of things like that happen to me TTOR It's one
- 1:34:24of the reasons why I personally feel as though I've had, how
- 1:34:27shall I say, spiritual experiences that led me towards
- 1:34:31the concept of God. I have I ever told you about one
- 1:34:35of those incidences that was played a major role in my life
- 1:34:38before you shut it down. Sure.
- 1:34:42Well before I met my wife and all that, I was involved in a
- 1:34:46relationship with a person who was pretty abusive.
- 1:34:49They treated me like absolute crap, but for some reason I
- 1:34:54still had the strange thing where I thought the person could
- 1:34:57change and that they would eventually learn how to love me
- 1:35:01as much as I cared about them kind of thing.
- 1:35:03Well, it got to the point where it got so damn toxic and so bad.
- 1:35:07I eventually had this, this person and I did not work out.
- 1:35:12And I remember thinking to myself, man, I'm never going to
- 1:35:15find someone. I'm never going to find someone
- 1:35:17who's got a good heart. I mean, I literally had it set
- 1:35:20in my mind that there's just nobody out there what I'm
- 1:35:24looking for. And one day I took a long walk
- 1:35:27and during that walk, I had this this ID in my head that either
- 1:35:31one, I'm going to throw myself out in front of the a car or I'm
- 1:35:36just going to try to see where God leads me kind of thing.
- 1:35:39And this was right before I became like skeptical and all
- 1:35:42this kind of stuff. This is one of the things that
- 1:35:45held me to be open minded about Christianity for a long time.
- 1:35:49I actually prayed and then I made myself into town and
- 1:35:53everything. And I walked past this house and
- 1:35:56there was this beautiful angelic looking woman sitting up on a
- 1:36:01balcony and she was so beautiful.
- 1:36:03I could not turn away. Something just kept moving me
- 1:36:07towards her. And I go up and I say, hey, my
- 1:36:11name is Brett, would you like to hang out?
- 1:36:13I literally put it out like that.
- 1:36:14Can I come up and visit with you?
- 1:36:17And normally in our time and age, people whip your ass or
- 1:36:20call the police. She talked like that, right?
- 1:36:23But not her. She smiled at me and she invited
- 1:36:26me up and I got to know her, and she turned out to be my wife for
- 1:36:3030 years. I really, really was convinced I
- 1:36:34was never going to find love. And there it was, right there,
- 1:36:37just waiting for me. And what's weird about it, TTOR
- 1:36:40is she could, it could have been possible that she could have
- 1:36:43been inside watching TV that day.
- 1:36:45She could have been out somewhere with her family
- 1:36:47members. But she just happened to be
- 1:36:50there as I walked by. And I really believe God led me
- 1:36:53to her. I would not disagree with you
- 1:36:57there. It definitely sounds
- 1:36:59orchestrated from above as a lovely story.
- 1:37:04For anybody out there who feels that way, where you if you feel
- 1:37:07lonely and you feel like you're not going to be able to connect
- 1:37:11and all that, don't worry about it.
- 1:37:13Sometimes it comes later in life.
- 1:37:15I've had plenty of friends where it took them a while, but then
- 1:37:18they ended up finding the woman of their dreams and everything
- 1:37:21worked out. But when you do find a woman or
- 1:37:24you find someone that you're interested in, don't jump on the
- 1:37:27first one. Get to know them.
- 1:37:30Be their friend before you make any commitment decisions.
- 1:37:34Go ahead if you are had to give some suggestions to the crowd.
- 1:37:38Oh I completely agree with that suggestion, especially with my
- 1:37:42life experience. If you're going to be in a
- 1:37:45relationship with someone that could possibly go to marriage,
- 1:37:49you really want to take it slow and get the time.
- 1:37:52Take the time to get to know who they really are.
- 1:37:54Because if you get married to the wrong person, your life and
- 1:37:59your marriage will be hell on earth.
- 1:38:02It will be awful, it will be toxic and draining, and you will
- 1:38:05eventually become a shell of your former self.
- 1:38:09So bypass all that by getting to know someone really well and
- 1:38:14only making that full marriage commitment to someone that you
- 1:38:18know is not going to be like that.
- 1:38:21Hell hath no fury like that of a woman scorned.
- 1:38:24I actually wrote a song about it.
- 1:38:29All right, everyone, that is all for tonight's live stream.
- 1:38:32Thank you for tuning in to see Brett and me and father Ude
- 1:38:37respond to questions for Christians that Brett wrote, and
- 1:38:41we will see you in the next live stream, whenever that is,
- 1:38:45whether it be on Brett's channel or mine.
- 1:38:48Ta ta for now.
