Speaker 1: Thank God for David because he's managed to put some Band-Aids on certain things and we're able to.
• 0:48
Speaker 3: Yeah, we patch it together.
• 0:49
  Speaker 3: That's what David's good at.
• 0:53
Speaker 1: He is good at that he's good, he picks some stuff.
• 0:55
Speaker 1: Now that we've got that disclaimer out of the way, I can tell you that I'd like to welcome you to Hewlett Park in Grand Pra, texas, and the Lone Star Street Rod Association's 49th annual state run.

• 1:45
Speaker 1: David Ainsley, I'm Don Armstrong today only.
• 1:51
Speaker 1: So thank you for joining us today.
• 1:55
Speaker 3: And Mr Mars has our next guest and I'm really happy to introduce this next guest because a couple of times we've been to several different museums and twice we've been to the roadside america museum in hillsborough and that's quite a museum yes, it is, and it's a museum of everything that he likes.
• 2:13
Speaker 1: Well, it is it.
• 2:14
Speaker 3: It just there's so much in there and it's really great that the owner, the guy that gives us the tours, mr carol estes, is here with us and his 1968 C10 truck sitting over here.
• 2:25
Speaker 2: We'll get a shot here in just a minute.
• 2:29
  Speaker 3: Morning.
• 2:31
  Speaker 4: Now.
• 2:31
Speaker 3: Hillsboro is not very far away.
• 2:32
Speaker 3: No, it's about an hour drive hour, 15.
• 2:35
Speaker 3: Okay, that's not too bad.
• 2:36
Speaker 3: So your truck, tell us about your truck.
• 2:40
  Speaker 4: Well, it's a 68 Chevrolet C10 pickup short bed.
• 2:44
Speaker 4: I bought it as is about six years ago.
• 2:49
Speaker 1: I was waiting for you to say yeah, I bought it out of the car lot I wish I love those stories though.
• 2:56
Speaker 1: Yeah, uh, no where did you buy it?
• 2:59
Speaker 1: In ohio would you find it?
• 3:01
  Speaker 4: online yes.
• 3:04
Speaker 1: Like our last guest, did you find it off of eBay, did you?
• 3:08
Speaker 4: Oh gosh, you're going to ask me that I don't have memory of the last six years.
• 3:12
Speaker 4: It was on one of those Facebook marketplace sites.
• 3:17
Speaker 1: I don't remember what happened yesterday.
• 3:19
Speaker 4: I know, sorry, I've got somebody that I can relate to.
• 3:22
Speaker 4: So tell us a little bit about the truck oh yeah, like I said, it's been totally uh, frame off rotisserie did you do that?
• 3:31
  Speaker 1: have that done?
• 3:31
Speaker 1: Did you buy it though?
• 3:32
Speaker 4: no, I bought it as is yeah that seems to be the trend.
• 3:36
Speaker 1: Uh, you know, when we get to our age, we've done all the work and all the years past I used to be.
• 3:40
Speaker 4: I'm retired from the restoration business.
• 3:42
Speaker 4: I did that for a living.
• 3:44
Speaker 4: Um, yeah, I used to build them for a living, build them for myself, but yeah, like I said, I'm to the age now that I'd rather just buy them as is and let somebody else do all that enjoy driving right on spot on and uh and I've been around cars enough, so I know I know how to how to look at them and how to choose.
• 4:03
Speaker 4: I've been very lucky.
• 4:03
Speaker 1: So this has been a rotisserie car truck.
• 4:05
Speaker 4: Yes, oh, yes, Got a 5.3 LS in it, 4L60 automatic, vintage air lots of goodies on it.
• 4:15
Speaker 1: Yeah, is it a driver, or do you trailer it?
• 4:19
  Speaker 4: Oh no, it's a driver.
• 4:20
  Speaker 1: Good.
• 4:21
Speaker 4: Glad to hear you say that.
• 4:22
Speaker 3: It sounds very healthy whenever you crank it up.
• 4:25
Speaker 4: Well driver, good, glad to hear you say that.
• 4:26
Speaker 4: It sounds very healthy whenever you crank it up.
• 4:27
Speaker 4: Well, it was until this morning running real good.
• 4:28
Speaker 4: It's been a little issue this morning, kind of like your computer, I think.
• 4:30
Speaker 1: Uh really what happened?
• 4:32
  Speaker 4: to it I don't know.
• 4:33
Speaker 4: You started running real rough a while ago, so I thought that was the cam no I think.
• 4:38
Speaker 1: I think it's more just running rough is is it an ejected car or is it a carburetor?
• 4:43
  Speaker 1: It it's ejected, it's LS.
• 4:44
  Speaker 4: Yeah.
• 4:45
Speaker 4: No it was running perfect yesterday, cranked it up this morning, like I said, kind of like your computer, it just went overnight.
• 4:50
Speaker 1: Hopefully, so you have it disconnected the battery and let it relearn itself.
• 4:57
  Speaker 4: No, I haven't done that.
• 4:58
Speaker 4: I may try that.
• 4:59
Speaker 4: Yeah, just a thought.
• 5:01
Speaker 4: I may try that.
• 5:02
  Speaker 4: But anyway, it's a good, it's a nice truck.
• 5:04
Speaker 1: How long have you been a member of the Lone Star Street Ride Association?
• 5:07
Speaker 4: Since, since it's in Sedgham pretty much 1974, I joined.
• 5:13
Speaker 4: I believe it was Really yeah.
• 5:15
Speaker 1: So you've always been a street rider.
• 5:16
Speaker 4: Oh yeah, all my life.
• 5:17
Speaker 4: I've always been into cars.
• 5:19
  Speaker 4: For many years.
• 5:22
Speaker 1: All my life is many years.
• 5:29
Speaker 4: So did you start off at a dealership somewhere?
• 5:30
Speaker 4: No, no, just uh kind of opened my own shop in 81, I believe it was, and uh, and had an auto body shop and restored classic cars and built street rides for years.
• 5:37
Speaker 4: Did collision work too, for the.
• 5:40
Speaker 4: So what led you?
• 5:41
  Speaker 3: into that.
• 5:42
Speaker 3: I mean something you pick up in high school family I just always been.
• 5:47
Speaker 4: A hobby turned into a business, you know well, those are the best kind yeah yeah, but then the business is not a hobby anymore, you know well, that's true, it turns into work, it becomes fun, and then not fun.
• 5:59
Speaker 4: So now that I've closed, I've been retired for many, many years.
• 6:02
Speaker 4: I closed my shop in 94.
• 6:03
Speaker 4: Oh wow, I've been retired for many, many years.
• 6:04
Speaker 4: I closed my shop in 94.
• 6:05
  Speaker 4: Oh wow.
• 6:06
Speaker 3: I've been retired for 30 years.
• 6:08
Speaker 3: So now you just run the museum, run the museum.
• 6:13
Speaker 4: Buy cars already finished, like I said there you go For the museum.
• 6:17
Speaker 4: Of course they're my personal cars, but they're part of the museum.
• 6:21
Speaker 1: I see that we have some mutual friends.
• 6:22
Speaker 1: Who's that, those boys down there at the Hot Rod Tour of Texas?
• 6:27
Speaker 4: Oh yeah, steven Brandon yeah, all those boys.
• 6:31
  Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah.
• 6:33
Speaker 1: Because I know that we've been up there to see your place a couple of times.
• 6:38
  Speaker 4: Yeah.
• 6:39
Speaker 1: And that's a lot of fun.
• 6:41
Speaker 1: Do you actually go on the tour, the Hot?
• 6:45
  Speaker 3: Rod Tour.
• 6:45
Speaker 3: Oh, the Hot Rod Tour.
• 6:46
Speaker 4: That's a lot of fun, do you actually go on the tour, the Hot Rod Tour?
• 6:47
Speaker 4: Oh, the Hot Rod Tour, that's not Steven.
• 6:49
Speaker 3: That's Bobby Sparkman, bobby.
• 6:50
  Speaker 1: Sparkman.
• 6:52
Speaker 4: I got my events mixed up.
• 6:53
Speaker 4: No, the problem with that is.
• 6:55
Speaker 4: I'd love to go on that, but it's the same weekend as the Pate Swap Meet.
• 6:59
Speaker 4: Oh, and I've been going to the Pate Swap Meet since the mid-'70s and I just can't get out of that.
• 7:06
Speaker 1: Yeah, that's another monster event, isn't that up by Tyler somewhere?
• 7:09
  Speaker 1: The paint.
• 7:10
Speaker 4: Yeah, it's at TMF.
• 7:11
  Speaker 1: Texas Motor Speedway.
• 7:12
Speaker 1: Oh, it is too Okay yeah.
• 7:13
Speaker 4: But I've been going to this for many years.
• 7:15
Speaker 4: I just can't get out of the habit, I guess.
• 7:30
Speaker 1: Well, do you sell?
• 7:31
Speaker 2: drink too much, whatever you know stuff from the museum that you know no, just uh, anything.
• 7:38
Speaker 4: I used to deal a lot in advertising memorabilia but that stuff got so hard to find and you can't find anything you can flip.
• 7:45
Speaker 4: It's just things I come up with every year car parts a lot in the last couple of years.
• 7:50
Speaker 1: So if you see something that you think you can make some money off of, you'll buy it.
• 7:54
Speaker 1: Yeah, if the price is right, pretty much.
• 7:55
Speaker 1: Yeah, and I'm sure that you're not by yourself at that particular event.
• 8:00
Speaker 1: I've not been there, but I've seen pictures of it and I know people that have been.
• 8:07
Speaker 1: Well, you have, and they speak very highly of it.
• 8:08
Speaker 1: It's lots of fun to go to, even if you don't buy anything.
• 8:10
Speaker 1: Yeah, or maybe have bobby make it a stop this year.
• 8:13
  Speaker 4: It's pretty, it's.
• 8:14
  Speaker 4: It's huge man.
• 8:15
Speaker 4: Yeah, it's massive I went twice.
• 8:19
Speaker 3: You know pre-covid, I went twice and he's right.
• 8:21
Speaker 3: Mean it takes up one whole section of the parking lot for the speedway and you can't walk it in two days.
• 8:28
Speaker 3: They can rent little carts to get around if you really want to see all of it, and that doesn't count the car corral, it's over across the highway, right.
• 8:36
Speaker 4: Or across the parking lot Next to the stadium.
• 8:39
Speaker 1: You can take your rollator bars and get over there.
• 8:43
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.
• 8:45
Speaker 3: Or put a motor on my wheelchair.
• 8:50
Speaker 4: I take my three-wheel scooter to get around.
• 8:52
Speaker 3: There you go, if you want to cover any ground.
• 8:54
Speaker 4: There's no way I'd walk the whole thing.
• 8:56
  Speaker 3: No, not anymore.
• 8:57
Speaker 3: And it was like I say it's probably been seven years since I was there, maybe longer.
• 9:01
Speaker 1: Have you been coming to this event every year?
• 9:04
  Speaker 4: Since 74.
• 9:05
Speaker 4: Now I missed a few when they had it down in Fredericksburg.
• 9:10
Speaker 4: I skipped a few of those, but for the most part I've been to all of them here.
• 9:16
Speaker 4: I went to all of them in Waco.
• 9:19
Speaker 1: Well, the Hot Rod Tour stopped up in Fredericksburg this year, and boy has that place changed.
• 9:26
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it's become so commercial now.
• 9:29
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's touristy, yeah, very touristy.
• 9:32
Speaker 4: Yeah, the Hot Rod Tour came by my place two years in a row.
• 9:35
  Speaker 2: Yes.
• 9:36
Speaker 4: I was their final stop last year, their finale stop.
• 9:40
Speaker 3: That was a lot of fun.
• 9:41
Speaker 1: Yes, after that, yeah, and the town where you are is a cute little town that everybody should see.
• 9:46
Speaker 1: Right, it's a great little stop.
• 9:49
  Speaker 4: Yeah, Hillsboro.
• 9:50
Speaker 1: How did you wind up in Hillsboro?
• 9:52
Speaker 4: Well, I lived in a little town up in south Dallas County and the town just outgrew me years ago and I always wanted to live in a small town, in an old building, in a downtown area.
• 10:10
Speaker 4: Do you live in the museum?
• 10:11
Speaker 4: Yes, I've got living quarters in the museum.
• 10:13
  Speaker 4: That's pretty cool.
• 10:14
Speaker 4: It's an old Ford dealership.
• 10:15
Speaker 4: The building was built about 1910, as I've been able to determine when the offices were and all, I built in living quarters in there and I live right there on the grounds and just open up when anybody calls and once the tour I open up and give a tour.
• 10:31
Speaker 3: You can go out there and see Bob's big boy anytime you want, right.
• 10:34
Speaker 3: So you're here right now.
• 10:35
  Speaker 3: Who's?
• 10:35
  Speaker 2: minding the store.
• 10:36
Speaker 4: While you're here, I've got a friend of mine, Vicki, and a friend of mine who's kind of my volunteer uh tour guide when I'm out of town.
• 10:45
Speaker 2: So yeah, caretaker type business a lot yeah yeah and uh.
• 10:56
Speaker 1: You know, tourists come and go.
• 10:57
Speaker 4: What kind of music, do you like?
• 10:59
Speaker 1: what kind of music?
• 11:00
Speaker 1: Yeah, what kind of music oldies.
• 11:01
  Speaker 1: What else oldies?
• 11:01
Speaker 4: is there anything else?
• 11:02
Speaker 4: Well, country oldies, well, yeah, I love, oh, I love classic country too.
• 11:04
Speaker 4: Sure you know anything in the 50s and 60s and 50s?
• 11:08
Speaker 1: Who's got that noisy microphone, david?
• 11:10
Speaker 1: Is it all of us or is it me?
• 11:14
  Speaker 1: It's everybody.
• 11:16
  Speaker 4: Wind.
• 11:18
Speaker 3: Sorry about that Cut?
• 11:20
Speaker 1: it, but it didn't help no.
• 11:21
  Speaker 3: I'll go ahead, you're fine.
• 11:24
Speaker 4: I know Dave's got it, but it didn't help.
• 11:26
Speaker 1: No, I'll go ahead.
• 11:26
Speaker 1: You're fine, I know it is.
• 11:26
Speaker 1: We got wind, socks on them and everything, but we have no complaints whatsoever about the wonderful breeze that we have here today.
• 11:35
  Speaker 1: Nice breeze.
• 11:36
  Speaker 4: Yeah exactly?
• 11:39
Speaker 1: Do you know most of these guys here at the Lone Star Street Road Association.
• 11:42
Speaker 4: I know most of the old guys.
• 11:46
Speaker 1: You were going to say old goats, yeah, is that what you were going to say?
• 11:50
Speaker 4: And I was in line in the registration yesterday and standing there looking around and asked somebody what do you think the average age is in this building?
• 11:57
Speaker 4: Here it's getting older every year.
• 12:00
Speaker 4: I'm a little concerned about where the sport's headed in the future.
• 12:04
Speaker 1: for that reason, Well, yeah, there is that.
• 12:06
Speaker 1: However, you know, you stop and think about it.
• 12:09
Speaker 1: Who was it that started this?
• 12:12
Speaker 1: And that was our dads, mainly Right After World War II.
• 12:17
Speaker 1: The whole drag racing thing and all of that has changed and continues to evolve.
• 12:23
Speaker 1: Who's going to know what's going to happen to all of this?
• 12:27
Speaker 1: I mean, I have two daughters and neither one of them are interested in cars, clearly, and so you know what's going to happen?
• 12:34
  Speaker 4: I don't know.
• 12:34
Speaker 4: Well, kids nowadays they like the new Mustangs and Jeeps and BMWs and that sort of thing.
• 12:41
Speaker 4: You know, they don't really care much about the old car.
• 12:41
Speaker 1: Maybe they will have their own classic BMWs and Jeeps and that sort of thing.
• 12:44
Speaker 1: You know that they don't really care much about.
• 12:45
Speaker 1: Maybe they will have their own classic BMWs and Jeeps and that sort of thing in the future, I don't know.
• 12:48
Speaker 2: Well, you know, you look at it and you've got the JDM clubs.
• 12:51
Speaker 2: You know the Japanese domestic markets manufacturers, all that.
• 12:55
Speaker 2: That's a different segment of the auto, but nothing like this.
• 13:00
Speaker 1: No, but you know, when we were in high school, when we were in high school, these were in the junkyard, yeah Right, and all we wanted was the new stuff that Ford and Chevy and Dodge had to offer.
• 13:15
Speaker 1: Yeah, that was the 60s and 70s Well, mainly the 60s.
• 13:18
Speaker 1: As opposed to mom's Buick Skylark Right when they had no power whatsoever.
• 13:24
Speaker 1: So it's going to be interesting to see what happens here in the next few years as we continually die off.
• 13:29
  Speaker 4: Right yeah.
• 13:31
Speaker 1: I'm sure that there are some cars here today that were purchased out of some estate sale somewhere.
• 13:36
  Speaker 1: You know that.
• 13:36
Speaker 1: Yeah, not that that's a bad thing because it keeps the hobby going.
• 13:45
Speaker 4: Some of the I guess some of the offspring of some of the old hot riders are taking up the sport in the old traditional way.
• 13:49
Speaker 4: But I don't think there's enough to maintain this level of.
• 13:53
  Speaker 1: No.
• 13:53
  Speaker 4: Participation no 10,.
• 13:54
Speaker 4: Well, 15 years from now.
• 13:56
Speaker 1: Exactly, yeah, and that's a sad thing, you know, it's a worry, and we all continue to try to entice our children, our grandchildren, to get in the sport.
• 14:08
Speaker 1: Some are, some are going into the automotive field.
• 14:10
Speaker 1: But you know, automotive today, dealerships, they've all changed ships, they've all changed.
• 14:21
Speaker 1: I mean you, you don't have the big uh sun tune-up machine sitting over in a tube in a two-bay stall.
• 14:25
Speaker 2: Somewhere got a laptop computer yeah, sitting in the car in the air conditioning, don't get me wrong.
• 14:28
Speaker 1: I mean, let's face it, if it weren't for that, the, the, the sport of of it as it is today, wouldn't be what it is today.
• 14:37
Speaker 1: How many LS engines are there out there that are tuned by a computer?
• 14:41
Speaker 1: And I don't have a problem with it.
• 14:43
Speaker 1: As a matter of fact, I encourage it because that carburetor hell that we used to go through.
• 14:51
Speaker 1: You see a car with a carburetor on it now and you see some guy out there going trying to unstick those floats.
• 14:59
Speaker 3: Oh, of that stuff for him I did talk to rick for a little while yesterday.
• 15:05
Speaker 3: Rick, neely and they are going to go to a a 30 year rolling.
• 15:11
Speaker 3: You know everybody's got pre-49, pre-50, whatever, like woody went up to 2004 now, but they're going to go with.
• 15:17
Speaker 3: Lone Star is going to go to a rolling 30 calendar.
• 15:20
Speaker 3: So trying to get more younger people engaged into the sport and get them active and coming out here.
• 15:29
Speaker 3: So you're going to see some later model vehicles.
• 15:31
Speaker 1: Well, my Corvette is 23 years old.
• 15:35
Speaker 3: Well, and you're not.
• 15:40
Speaker 1: And seven years from now.
• 15:43
  Speaker 3: It'll be eligible.
• 15:44
Speaker 3: Yeah, you'll be able to drive it.
• 15:48
Speaker 1: Can you handle the shoulder there?
• 15:50
Speaker 1: I got to get my knee fixed.
• 15:52
  Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 15:53
Speaker 4: Well, you know, it used to be pre-49.
• 15:55
Speaker 3: Your clutch knee Right Clutch knee.
• 15:57
  Speaker 4: Everything was pre-49.
• 15:58
Speaker 4: Nsra, Lone Star, all of them.
• 16:01
Speaker 3: But a lot of them are.
• 16:04
Speaker 4: To encourage more participation and to hopefully keep the sport viable.
• 16:10
Speaker 4: Well, at least they're raising the age.
• 16:13
Speaker 2: Well, it's not on life support.
• 16:15
Speaker 2: Going to roll again.
• 16:16
Speaker 2: Going to roll again.
• 16:17
  Speaker 3: Uh-oh, he's the age.
• 16:18
Speaker 3: Well, it's not on life support gonna roll again.
• 16:19
Speaker 1: It's gonna roll again, oh you're gonna run over himself with it cut.
• 16:23
Speaker 1: Well, that's uh interesting.

• 18:00
Speaker 1: Uh, I parked the car and uh, he was looking at the cars and everything and he says that's your car, said yeah, so we start talking about that.

• 18:25
Speaker 1: We decided you know what we like it so much here, this is where we retired to.
• 18:29
Speaker 1: So I would imagine that you've got quite a few people like that Kind of like here in Granbury.
• 18:34
Speaker 1: You know we have not been coming here that often.
• 18:36
Speaker 1: We've been here for the past four or five years Mars, however long it's been here in Granbury and during that period of time we've seen that grow.
• 18:46
Speaker 1: Coming into town now the city marker is further out and there's more businesses out toward that city marker these days coming into town.
• 18:55
Speaker 1: This place has exploded.

• 19:03
Speaker 4: It's really a unique place here in Texas and Granbury.
• 19:05
  Speaker 4: We're very appreciative.
• 19:05
Speaker 4: The city of Granbury really appreciates Lone Star Street Rides coming here.

• 19:21
  Speaker 1: I won't mention where.

• 19:28
Speaker 4: Yeah, there goes one now.
• 19:29

• 19:33
Speaker 3: Next year is the 50th.
• 19:34
Speaker 3: They're already making big plans for next year.
• 19:37
Speaker 1: Well, we're hoping to be back.
• 19:38
Speaker 4: Big plans I was thinking this should be the 50th because I went on in 74, but I think they skipped a year, I think During that COVID nonsense.
• 19:46
Speaker 3: I think there was a reason, but next year they're already planning the 50th, so next year is definitely 50.

• 22:13
Speaker 1: Never mind, just, never mind, just listen.
• 22:15
Speaker 1: We've had a computer meltdown here this morning, uh-oh, but we've managed to work around it, and so it's a different kind of thing, but we're doing fine.
• 22:24
  Speaker 2: Okay.
• 22:25
Speaker 1: So now it is time for Jeffrey's feature, which is I'll talk slow.
• 22:33
Speaker 2: Ten car habits that make you look like an idiot on the road.
• 22:37
Speaker 2: Oh, on the road, on the road.
• 22:39
Speaker 2: So the first one is everybody sees them, especially at night the blinding headlights.
• 22:44
Speaker 2: Installing excessively bright headlights can blind other drivers and create hazardous conditions on the road.
• 22:50
Speaker 1: Now I can relate to that.
• 22:51
Speaker 1: I installed some blindingly bright headlights.
• 22:55
Speaker 2: Well, there's headlights that are bright and you can adjust them.
• 22:58
Speaker 2: While you might think that brighter lights improve visibility, they can impair vision of the oncoming traffic, which is the result.
• 23:04
Speaker 2: This increases the risk of accidents.
• 23:06
Speaker 2: Consider using headlights that comply with safety regulations and prioritize the well-being of all road users.
• 23:14
  Speaker 3: There you go.
• 23:15
  Speaker 2: External speakers.
• 23:16
Speaker 2: When you hear blasting down the road, music from external speakers in your car can disturb the peace and annoy other drivers and get yourself a ticket.
• 23:24
Speaker 2: Yep, it creates negative impressions and considerations for others.
• 23:29
Speaker 2: While you might enjoy sharing your music Mike, you know all that stuff you listen to it's crucial to respect everybody.
• 23:35
Speaker 2: That's that rap stuff that he likes.
• 23:36
Speaker 2: Yeah, tinted license plate covers.
• 23:40
Speaker 2: Why I don't know, but using tinted covers in your license plate to obscure them raises suspicion, david.
• 23:46
Speaker 2: Uh, it can draw unwanted attention from law enforcement and other drivers.
• 23:50
Speaker 2: While you might believe it enhances the aesthetics and appeal of your vehicle, tinted covers can hinder the identification of your car and they're just going to pop you.
• 23:59
Speaker 2: Is what they're going to do.
• 24:01
Speaker 2: Parking considerations Practice considerate parking habits such as leaving adequate space between the vehicles.
• 24:07
Speaker 2: It promotes the convenience and safety of all drivers.
• 24:11
Speaker 2: That in mind, avoiding tight parking spots and allowing room for maneuvering risks the damage of neighboring vehicles, so be careful.
• 24:20
Speaker 2: It minimizes inconvenience for the fellow motorists.
• 24:22
Speaker 2: Respecting parking lot adequate fosters stress-free parking environment for everyone.
• 24:28
Speaker 2: It really does Too much honking.
• 24:31
Speaker 2: Using your horn for emergencies I'm guilty of this, Not to express frustration or impatience fosters a safer and more respectful driving environment.
• 24:42
Speaker 2: Reserving horn usage for critical situations enhances communication between drivers and reduces the likelihood of road rage incidents caused by unnecessary honking.
• 24:52
Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the main thing.
• 24:53
Speaker 3: It's less likely to get shot if you don't go honking at people.
• 24:56
Speaker 2: Well, with that in mind, you've got aggressive hand gestures.
• 24:59
Speaker 2: Displaying aggressive hand gestures through stickers, decals, wait a minute Like the middle finger.
• 25:06
Speaker 2: Or the rest of them?
• 25:07
Speaker 2: Yeah, while it seems a way to assist dominance, it often creates tension, so don't do that.
• 25:16
Speaker 1: I got the habit from you.
• 25:17
  Speaker 1: Oh I know I honk a lot.
• 25:19
Speaker 3: The first thing you've got to do before you do that is look and see who's in the other car.
• 25:23
Speaker 1: See how big they are and how fast they are, uh-huh and see whether or not they've got a gun.
• 25:29
Speaker 2: Thunderous exhaust systems, upgrading your exhaust systems to produce thunderous engine noises this will go for all you Tesla owners out there.
• 25:36
Speaker 2: It may be impressive, however, it signals to other drivers that you prioritize noise and attention getting over anything else.
• 25:47
Speaker 2: Neglecting your turn signals again, david, forgetting to use your turn signals is not just a matter of forgetfulness.
• 25:50
Speaker 2: It can communicate to others that you do not prioritize their safety and respect the traffic laws.
• 25:56
Speaker 2: In other words, you're an ass.
• 25:58
Speaker 2: There you go, tailgating, tailgating, driving too closely.
• 26:02
Speaker 2: Uh, can I interrupt?
• 26:03
Speaker 1: just yeah, yeah, yeah, ma'am, I really do like your pants and I want a pair just like those.

• 26:28
Speaker 2: Those are checkered All of it.
• 26:30

• 26:31
