- 0:01Most people are confused about what meditation is one of the
- 0:06causes of this confusion, is the variety of forms of meditation
- 0:10that are recommended in practice, by various Traditions.
- 0:15Some forms of meditation require strenuous efforts and
- 0:18considerable time to bear fruit. The mother provides insight into
- 0:23meditation and proposes a method.
- 0:26She finds most suitable, her preferred method harnesses, the
- 0:31power of aspiration, which reminds us of the focus of the
- 0:35refuse of the rig Veda, who placed ogni.
- 0:38The Mystic fire, the flame of aspiration in front as the first
- 0:44power to be engaged in achieving realization.
- 0:49The mother writes quote, it is very difficult to meditate.
- 0:54They're all kinds of meditations.
- 0:56You may take an idea and follow it to arrive at a given result.
- 1:01This is an active meditation, people who want to solve a
- 1:05problem or to write meditate in this way without knowing that
- 1:09they are meditating. Others sit down and try to
- 1:13concentrate on something without following an idea simply to
- 1:17concentrate on a point in order to intensify one's power of
- 1:21concentration. And this brings about what
- 1:25usually happens when you concentrate upon a point.
- 1:28If you succeed in gathering your capacity for concentration,
- 1:32sufficiently upon a point. Whether mental, vital or
- 1:37physical at a given moment, you pass through and enter into
- 1:42another consciousness. Others, still try to drive out
- 1:47from their head all movements ideas, reflexes reactions, and
- 1:53to arrive at a truly silent Tranquility.
- 1:57This is extremely difficult. There are people have tried for
- 2:0125 years and not succeeded. For this something like taking a
- 2:06bull by the horns. There's another kind of
- 2:10meditation which consists in being as quiet as one can be.
- 2:14But without trying to stop all thoughts for there are thoughts
- 2:18which are purely mechanical and if you try to stop these you
- 2:22will need years and into the bargain.
- 2:25You will not be sure of the result.
- 2:28Instead of that, you gathered together all your Consciousness
- 2:32and remain as quiet and peaceful as possible.
- 2:36You detach yourself from external things as though they
- 2:40do not interest you at all. In all of a sudden you brighten
- 2:44the flame of aspiration and throw into it.
- 2:48Everything that comes to you so that the flame may rise higher
- 2:53and higher. Higher and higher.
- 2:56You identify yourself with it and you go up to the extreme
- 3:01point of your Consciousness and aspiration thinking of nothing
- 3:05else, simply an aspiration, which mounts mounts mounts
- 3:13without thinking, a minute of the result of what may happen
- 3:17and specially of what may not and above all without Desiring,
- 3:22that something may come. Simply the joy of an aspiration,
- 3:27which mounts and mounts and mounts intensifying itself more
- 3:33and more in a constant concentration.
- 3:37And there I met assure you, that what happens is, the best that
- 3:41can happen. That is it is the maximum of
- 3:45your possibilities, which is realized.
- 3:47When you do this, these possibilities may be very
- 3:51different according to individuals, but then all these
- 3:56worries about trying to be silent, going behind
- 3:59appearances, calling a force which answers waiting for an
- 4:03answer to your questions, all that van.
- 4:07It's like an unreal vapor. And if you succeed in living
- 4:11consciously in this flame in this column of mounting
- 4:15aspiration, you will see that. Even if you do not have an
- 4:20immediate result after a time, something will happen.
