- 0:17Speaker 1: Welcome into jag Zama. I'm Kindannie Stevens, Brian Sexton, and
- 0:20Speaker 1: John Oser are with me today. Is we're gonna recap
- 0:22Speaker 1: that game for you from Las Vegas on Sunday. So
- 0:25Speaker 1: we'll start with big things. Number One, unlucky in Las Vegas. Obviously,
- 0:28Speaker 1: the Jaguars losing to the Raiders and other teams struggling
- 0:31Speaker 1: throughout their season as well. Brian, it's disappointed, to say
- 0:35Speaker 1: the least. Obviously, it has been frustrating this entire season.
- 0:38Speaker 1: But to lose to a team that is also not
- 0:40Speaker 1: very good, that doesn't feel.
- 0:41Speaker 2: Great, you know, And I'm not sure that unlucky is
- 0:46Speaker 2: the best way to describe it, because this is what
- 0:49Speaker 2: we've seen all year.
- 0:50Speaker 3: I mean, Eric.
- 0:50Speaker 2: Ormstead back to back plays in the Neutrals thought, that's
- 0:54Speaker 2: just a disciplined So.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm lucky for us to have to watch it now.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Listen there, You're absolutely right. It was a very tough
- 1:06Speaker 2: game to watch.
- 1:07Speaker 3: John. Yeah, it was.
- 1:11Speaker 4: Late season, out of the playoffs, before Christmas football, and
- 1:18Speaker 4: over five or six games they've they've been eliminated, what
- 1:21Speaker 4: with like five or six games remaining the Jags, it
- 1:24Speaker 4: defies logic to think one of these wasn't coming. This
- 1:29Speaker 4: was sort of it. Neither team is very good, neither
- 1:32Speaker 4: team's playing a starting quarterback. The Jaguars have one front
- 1:35Speaker 4: line receiver in the game, and it's and it's Brian
- 1:37Speaker 4: Thomas Junior, who plays like it. So it's it's it's
- 1:40Speaker 4: the same thing, different week, this one with a Christmas
- 1:44Speaker 4: bow on.
- 1:45Speaker 2: It felt like human nature had finally arrived, right. I mean,
- 1:47Speaker 2: you're going west the week of Christmas, you're missing key players,
- 1:52Speaker 2: You've lost games at the end. It's gotten to be
- 1:55Speaker 2: that point where you just can't avoid. As John just said,
- 1:58Speaker 2: a game like that, they felt like the first time
- 2:00Speaker 2: all year guy that human nature showed up.
- 2:03Speaker 1: I felt like it got to them. Big thing number
- 2:05Speaker 1: two is too late. We're talking a lot this week
- 2:07Speaker 1: about getting the younger players out there, getting other players
- 2:09Speaker 1: experienced in this game. It might be a little too
- 2:11Speaker 1: late for that.
- 2:14Speaker 5: I mean, I know for the guys that haven't been around,
- 2:15Speaker 5: it's hard. And I've been through this stuff many times,
- 2:19Speaker 5: and you just got to go play ball and know
- 2:22Speaker 5: that your tape is your resume and everyone's watching the
- 2:24Speaker 5: tape and that's what you gotta do. And it stinks
- 2:27Speaker 5: and I do everything in my power to scream at
- 2:30Speaker 5: guys and cuss and say let's effing go, But.
- 2:35Speaker 4: Is what it is?
- 2:38Speaker 1: John, You and I were there for that. And Andrew
- 2:40Speaker 1: winger Dewey very frustrated without getting to play, got into
- 2:43Speaker 1: the game a little bit only after injury. And we've
- 2:45Speaker 1: been talking a lot about whether it was Dewey coming
- 2:47Speaker 1: back or younger players, and we haven't seen all of
- 2:49Speaker 1: that at least second.
- 2:52Speaker 3: He's frustrated.
- 2:53Speaker 4: He's worked at this a long time, been a good
- 2:56Speaker 4: player for a long time, had a chance to start
- 2:58Speaker 4: before the season started, got hurt. So yeah, I mean
- 3:04Speaker 4: we're seeing some younger guys. I understand coaches with playing
- 3:09Speaker 4: younger guys. They don't just say let's throw everybody out
- 3:12Speaker 4: there and see what happens. You still want to give
- 3:14Speaker 4: yourself the best chance, you know. Has it happened soon enough?
- 3:22Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 3:22Speaker 3: It's is it too late? I guess it feels like
- 3:26Speaker 3: a lot of things are too late this season.
- 3:28Speaker 2: You're right on, But just for three names, right, I mean,
- 3:32Speaker 2: Keilan Robinson, Jordan Jefferson and Trey Prince. And I thought
- 3:35Speaker 2: because Ronald Darby was down, we might see Trey Prince,
- 3:39Speaker 2: who I think is a promising guy, obviously talking about
- 3:41Speaker 2: it all the time, but you do have some young
- 3:43Speaker 2: guys for whom there are some hopes that they can
- 3:51Speaker 2: evolve and become players.
- 3:52Speaker 3: And I'm not in the meeting room.
- 3:54Speaker 2: I don't know why they're not active, but there are
- 3:56Speaker 2: some young guys and maybe the final two weeks we
- 3:58Speaker 2: could see some of those three and see if they
- 4:00Speaker 2: are guys that you can lean on going into twenty
- 4:02Speaker 2: twenty five.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Our final big thing is final Push, because while there
- 4:07Speaker 1: it was some finality to that game in Las Vegas,
- 4:09Speaker 1: there are STI still two more games that have to
- 4:11Speaker 1: be played. Mac Jones talked a little bit about the
- 4:13Speaker 1: end of the season.
- 4:15Speaker 6: We'll keep that private, but definitely for me as as
- 4:18Speaker 6: I've been this situation two years in a row, just
- 4:22Speaker 6: play good football and put the ball in play and
- 4:24Speaker 6: eliminate turnovers and control we can control, and like I said,
- 4:28Speaker 6: once we're all on the same page, promise things will
- 4:30Speaker 6: go well and and that's that's our goal.
- 4:34Speaker 5: Ran.
- 4:34Speaker 1: We've been talking about the energy we've seen from the team.
- 4:36Speaker 1: They're in these games. They're close games, but it feels
- 4:38Speaker 1: like it's reaching the end of the track with this
- 4:41Speaker 1: amount of energy that they have left with all that's
- 4:43Speaker 1: been frustrating the season.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Well, it's it's a combination of lack of key players, right.
- 4:48Speaker 2: I mean the fact that we're talking to Mac Jones
- 4:50Speaker 2: after the game and not Trevor Lawrence says something about.
- 4:53Speaker 3: Where this team is and that they're throwing the ball
- 4:55Speaker 3: at times.
- 4:56Speaker 2: You have Tim Jones on the field yesterday, I mean,
- 4:58Speaker 2: not Christian Kirk. You're relying on Parker Washington and not
- 5:02Speaker 2: Gave Davis. So it's just kind of where they are
- 5:05Speaker 2: at this point of the season. If you'd like something
- 5:07Speaker 2: to be optimistic about, something to look forward to in
- 5:10Speaker 2: the final two weeks, I can give you something.
- 5:11Speaker 3: Would you like that?
- 5:12Speaker 1: Please do.
- 5:15Speaker 2: The Jaguars are good to finish with the winning record,
- 5:17Speaker 2: but they could finish with a winning record in the division.
- 5:19Speaker 2: I mean it's not much, but we're looking for something
- 5:23Speaker 2: to put in the old proverbial Christmas stocking. Perhaps a
- 5:26Speaker 2: couple of wins at the end of the year would
- 5:29Speaker 2: give them something to be happy about.
- 5:31Speaker 1: It.
- 5:32Speaker 3: It's all I got John.
- 5:34Speaker 4: Yeh, Look, somebody asked me, how did he get to
- 5:36Speaker 4: this point offensively? Well, they weren't a particularly good offense before,
- 5:43Speaker 4: and now they're playing a backup quarterback and they're down
- 5:48Speaker 4: three of their top four receivers. So I don't think
- 5:53Speaker 4: not particularly good. It's going to get great in the circumstances.
- 5:56Speaker 4: So that's why you see an offense that when Brian
- 5:59Speaker 4: Thomas you can't make a play. Uh, there's not much
- 6:02Speaker 4: going on offensively. It's where we're at. Merry Christmas.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Oh that was mean, all right, So this we'll come
- 6:10Speaker 1: back after the brake. We'll look at some of the
- 6:11Speaker 1: tape from the game in Vegas. Move the Frame, Move
- 6:20Speaker 1: the Freight. Magellan Transport voted the coolest office space in Jacksonville.
- 6:24Speaker 1: You canply on line at www dot Magellan Logistics dot com.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Welcome back into drag Zam. We're gonna talk a little
- 6:31Speaker 1: bit about that game in Las Vegas. Obviously frustrating and
- 6:33Speaker 1: kind of just bad football on both sides. Obviously both
- 6:36Speaker 1: of these teams have had trouble this season, but we
- 6:39Speaker 1: did see a little bit of something after all those
- 6:41Speaker 1: errors in the first half. We did see the offense
- 6:43Speaker 1: get going a little bit. But John, as we've talked about,
- 6:45Speaker 1: it's always Brian Thomas junior that has to get it going.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Otherwise we don't see much of anything.
- 6:49Speaker 4: Yeah, it's uh, I don't know what the stat is,
- 6:52Speaker 4: but it seems like the last four or five games,
- 6:54Speaker 4: a couple of touchdowns each game, and when you kind
- 6:57Speaker 4: of look back at the key play, it's always a
- 6:59Speaker 4: bet and it says great things about him, not great
- 7:04Speaker 4: things about the team. And yesterday again in the first
- 7:07Speaker 4: half and they got it go and they got the
- 7:08Speaker 4: touchdown right after his he was a sixteen yarder that
- 7:11Speaker 4: broke Justin Blackings record and then credit him for sticking
- 7:14Speaker 4: it in. You know, they got the lead and they
- 7:16Speaker 4: can't do much with it.
- 7:19Speaker 2: It's amazing that we can talk about Brian Thomas Junior
- 7:21Speaker 2: as much as we do week after week after week
- 7:23Speaker 2: and it doesn't seem to get old' he's that good.
- 7:26Speaker 2: And he's doing it without Trebor Lawrence. He's doing it
- 7:30Speaker 2: on a field essentially all by himself. Because listen, no
- 7:33Speaker 2: disrespect intended, but no one is worried about Parker Washington
- 7:37Speaker 2: or Tim Jones or whoever else is out there, Josh Reynolds.
- 7:41Speaker 3: It's all about seven.
- 7:42Speaker 2: And they put this team together this year with the
- 7:44Speaker 2: idea that it was gonna be kind of like basketball
- 7:46Speaker 2: John Proper spacing makes everything work, and they haven't had it,
- 7:50Speaker 2: and he's still playing so well, and it's such a
- 7:53Speaker 2: dominant player. I'm excited to see what they do if
- 7:57Speaker 2: they can get it right with everyone else around him
- 7:58Speaker 2: next year.
- 7:59Speaker 4: Ye thoughts to him, and I think what you're gonna
- 8:01Speaker 4: see is once they get things moving around him. He
- 8:06Speaker 4: had nine for one hundred and thirty yesterday, which is
- 8:09Speaker 4: what about twelve yards reception ish and wasn't very good
- 8:13Speaker 4: at math. But I think once he gets people around
- 8:17Speaker 4: him a little bit, you're gonna see those yards perception
- 8:20Speaker 4: go up. He's gonna be more of a attack the
- 8:22Speaker 4: defense in the middle guy. And he's a smart guy
- 8:25Speaker 4: the press. Tyler talked about it last week, his ability
- 8:28Speaker 4: to run all routes of all these receiver positions. Can
- 8:32Speaker 4: you imagine how good he's gonna be once those things
- 8:37Speaker 4: calm down in his head and he's.
- 8:39Speaker 1: An experienced receiver.
- 8:40Speaker 3: It's I you're looking at the top five guy.
- 8:43Speaker 1: It's good to see, at least on that side of
- 8:44Speaker 1: the football. We talked a lot about confoundary footballs is
- 8:47Speaker 1: not new. This is an issue they've had all season,
- 8:48Speaker 1: but finally get on the scoreboard and immediately give up
- 8:51Speaker 1: a touchdown to the Raiders. And it's just that ability
- 8:54Speaker 1: or lack of ability to cover, and they're letting these
- 8:57Speaker 1: huge plays come about. Obviously this one against Tyson and
- 9:00Speaker 1: Campbell setting up the touchdown, and just throughout the year.
- 9:04Speaker 1: I mean, it's is it scheming, it's players, it's all
- 9:06Speaker 1: of it.
- 9:06Speaker 2: It seems like, Kay, you tried to be kind with
- 9:09Speaker 2: this secondary this year and give them time to evolve,
- 9:12Speaker 2: but they've been horrible. The number of explosive plays lead
- 9:17Speaker 2: the league are a franchise record already with two games
- 9:20Speaker 2: left to play, and they've been maddeningly consistent when you
- 9:23Speaker 2: needed a play to be made, whether it was the
- 9:26Speaker 2: Packers game at the end when the Jags tied it up,
- 9:29Speaker 2: or the Eagles game when the Jaguars were making it
- 9:30Speaker 2: closer and the safety to go over the top and
- 9:33Speaker 2: DeVonta Smith was wide open at the back of the
- 9:35Speaker 2: end zone. I mean, it's just been game after game
- 9:37Speaker 2: after game. The secondary has to be taken apart, reconstituted,
- 9:41Speaker 2: and put back together in a different form than twenty
- 9:43Speaker 2: twenty five. You can't play with this.
- 9:45Speaker 4: Yeah, it's been as bad as Brian described. And look,
- 9:49Speaker 4: it doesn't mean every player is atrocious. It doesn't mean
- 9:52Speaker 4: that every play has been bad. But the NFL is
- 9:54Speaker 4: about like big plays, and when you give up three
- 10:00Speaker 4: or four a game and their game breakers like that,
- 10:02Speaker 4: then all of a sudden, the fifteen plays you did
- 10:05Speaker 4: make don't matter. So I did not expect this sort
- 10:10Speaker 4: of season from that bunch.
- 10:11Speaker 2: They gotta fix the safeties in particular. I mean, whether
- 10:13Speaker 2: it's about Cisco or Antonio Johnson or Turnhill Savage, I mean,
- 10:17Speaker 2: they have all been really bad and the mistakes that
- 10:22Speaker 2: they have made, whether it was Cisco an opening day
- 10:24Speaker 2: against Miami as he watched Tyreek Hill or or Philly
- 10:27Speaker 2: or the Jets game, you know, the safety Antonio Johnson
- 10:31Speaker 2: watched DeVante Adams.
- 10:34Speaker 1: Yeah, there's a fair few examples, I'm sure.
- 10:37Speaker 2: Well, I can just roll them off the top of
- 10:38Speaker 2: my head, which goes to show we've been dealing with
- 10:40Speaker 2: it all season long.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Absolutely, all right, we're not gonna belabor the point. We'll
- 10:43Speaker 1: look at one more. Because Brian Thomas Juniors touched down
- 10:45Speaker 1: that broken play, we finally got one of our own
- 10:48Speaker 1: on offense. Obviously, the Raiders missing a field goal before that,
- 10:51Speaker 1: so kind of set it up. As I mentioned, both
- 10:53Speaker 1: these teams not the best, so it's set up that play.
- 10:55Speaker 1: But and we talked a little bit about this earlier
- 10:59Speaker 1: with Brian, but just it's impressive that he's able to
- 11:03Speaker 1: run all of those different routes, right, and he's doing that.
- 11:06Speaker 1: I think John you mentioned without knowing that.
- 11:10Speaker 4: Ent wasn't necessarily Sexton. Brian Sexton Junior could have scored
- 11:16Speaker 4: on that put.
- 11:17Speaker 3: Yeah, I think so.
- 11:18Speaker 4: But the person I talked about a lot last week,
- 11:21Speaker 4: and it was very interesting that once the other guy's
- 11:24Speaker 4: got hurt, all of a sudden, BTJ is running routes
- 11:27Speaker 4: from different receiver positions. It can take veterans. There are
- 11:33Speaker 4: veterans who can't do that. He hasn't spent an off
- 11:36Speaker 4: season learning it. His ability to pick up the press
- 11:39Speaker 4: was saying basically, he he hears something that they told
- 11:43Speaker 4: Christian Kirk, hasn't really drilled it, and then can go
- 11:46Speaker 4: out and do it. That's high end football intelligence. This kid,
- 11:51Speaker 4: once that gets where it's it's like learning a language, right.
- 11:56Speaker 4: He sort of knows Spanish now once he really learned Spanish.
- 12:00Speaker 3: Wow, ole.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Oh, it's about all I know. So here's a really
- 12:07Speaker 2: impressive part we talked. I just railed on the Jaguar secondary.
- 12:10Speaker 2: How bad are the Raiders that at the snap of
- 12:12Speaker 2: the bowl the safety on Brian Thomas junior side runs
- 12:16Speaker 2: to the middle of it, runs away, and the corner
- 12:19Speaker 2: jumps up to meet him and then lets him go by.
- 12:22Speaker 2: I mean, that's the only threat on the entire field,
- 12:25Speaker 2: and he's a hell of a threat. He could make
- 12:28Speaker 2: you look stupid. And two guys ran away from him.
- 12:31Speaker 3: What does that mean he had one job?
- 12:35Speaker 2: Listen, put three guys around him. Because you don't worry
- 12:39Speaker 2: about no offense, You don't worry about anyone else but
- 12:41Speaker 2: number seven man. You can't have enough guys to go
- 12:44Speaker 2: where is he? And on that play, it's like they went,
- 12:46Speaker 2: don't worry about him?
- 12:47Speaker 4: Or when you're having tough seasons. Yeah, those things happen
- 12:50Speaker 4: in tough seasons. Both teams are having tough seasons.

- 13:26Speaker 2: Well, mind's a lot optimistic. Listen, you can turn this too, right,
- 13:30Speaker 2: I mean it can. It went south fast. I'll go
- 13:33Speaker 2: back to the end of the third quarter of Miami
- 13:35Speaker 2: An opening day, Travis etn fumbles into the end zone,
- 13:38Speaker 2: Dolphins recover next play touchdown, and it felt to me
- 13:41Speaker 2: like the wind was out of their sails at that moment,
- 13:44Speaker 2: and it's never really returned because of Brian Thomas Junior.
- 13:48Speaker 2: Because you're playing without Trevor Lawrence right now.
- 13:52Speaker 3: You've got Evan Ingram who will be back next year.
- 13:54Speaker 2: You've got some guys, You've got some promising young guys.
- 13:59Speaker 2: What I watched yes yesterday just made me shake my
- 14:01Speaker 2: head but realize that maybe, just maybe, if you get
- 14:06Speaker 2: this thing right in the offseason, meaning how you construct
- 14:09Speaker 2: your roster, how you deal with your salary cap, what
- 14:12Speaker 2: you decide to do going forward with your leadership, both
- 14:15Speaker 2: in personnel and in coaching. If you get it right,
- 14:17Speaker 2: you can turn this thing back around. Listen, I'm not
- 14:19Speaker 2: saying you're going to compete with Kansas City or Buffalo
- 14:22Speaker 2: or Baltimore in twenty twenty five, but you can compete
- 14:25Speaker 2: with Houston because this is not a great division. I
- 14:27Speaker 2: watch them as you probably did on Saturday. They're not
- 14:30Speaker 2: a great team. We know what the Colts and the
- 14:32Speaker 2: Titans are. The Jaguars have enough promising young talent that
- 14:36Speaker 2: they can get this thing back to a eight nine,
- 14:39Speaker 2: ten wins sort of team relatively quickly.
- 14:42Speaker 3: I believe that.
- 14:44Speaker 4: Yeah, I agree, and you can get eight to nine
- 14:48Speaker 4: nine eight a say eight and eight. I'm an old guys,
- 14:53Speaker 4: but yes, even the difference between eight and nine what
- 14:58Speaker 4: this is for this team is not huge.
- 15:01Speaker 3: No, you can get it.
- 15:03Speaker 4: I think the long term you serve with the franchise
- 15:05Speaker 4: needs to be how do you get structurally over a
- 15:09Speaker 4: two or three year period up to the teams you're
- 15:12Speaker 4: talking about.
- 15:12Speaker 3: That's a heavier lift.
- 15:13Speaker 4: To have a legitimate Super Bowl hopes, there needs to
- 15:18Speaker 4: be some structure stuff in terms of the roster, Andrew
- 15:23Speaker 4: needs your quarterback.
- 15:24Speaker 2: Yeah, take that next big step and become that elite
- 15:27Speaker 2: franchise quarterback.
- 15:28Speaker 3: If that's the case, if he comes back next.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Year better than he's ever been, Okay, I mean then
- 15:33Speaker 2: this is not enough take, right, But I do think
- 15:36Speaker 2: when you look what eight one score losses, seven of
- 15:39Speaker 2: those in the final two minutes of the game. You
- 15:41Speaker 2: flip a couple of those and you're where we're talking about,
- 15:43Speaker 2: so you can turn this thing around as quickly as
- 15:45Speaker 2: it went south on you.
- 15:46Speaker 4: Yep, my take was also relatively cold. It we'll call
- 15:49Speaker 4: it hot because it's Christmas. Same old, same old, has
- 15:53Speaker 4: gotten roll old. I mean, it's sort of the theme
- 15:59Speaker 4: of the show, and my hot take is sort of
- 16:01Speaker 4: what the theme of the show is. It's the exact
- 16:03Speaker 4: same stuff we've seen all year. Not enough plays at
- 16:08Speaker 4: the end of the game secondary can't cover, and then
- 16:12Speaker 4: you lose a one score game because you don't have
- 16:16Speaker 4: players except for Brian Thomas Junior who make plays about
- 16:19Speaker 4: the exits of notes and that's why they're not in
- 16:24Speaker 4: the playoff.
- 16:24Speaker 3: Hunt and three eleven or three and twelve min Here's
- 16:27Speaker 3: how old it is. Gotten I stopped by.
- 16:28Speaker 2: A Christmas party on my way home from the stadium
- 16:31Speaker 2: last night, and nobody wanted to ask me about the game.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Nobody even wanted to offer condolences like, oh, you guys
- 16:36Speaker 2: are dealing with this again. Nobody even wanted to talk
- 16:39Speaker 2: about the game. That's how old it's gotten. Because hope
- 16:42Speaker 2: on any given Sunday exists for NFL fans, Jaguars fans,
- 16:47Speaker 2: as sick as they are of what the season has become,
- 16:50Speaker 2: still on Sunday you want to have a little bit
- 16:51Speaker 2: of hope that at least you might enjoy your team's performance,
- 16:55Speaker 2: even in a dismal year like this. And it's gotten
- 16:57Speaker 2: so old that nobody even wanted to talk, even to
- 17:01Speaker 2: give me a little grief about it, which everyone seems
- 17:03Speaker 2: to want to do whether I'm in publics or wherever
- 17:06Speaker 2: Christmas shopping.
- 17:07Speaker 3: Not yesterday.
- 17:08Speaker 1: It's a season of cheer. Oh boy, Unfortunately I'm going
- 17:11Speaker 1: to be a little gloomy as well. I think that
- 17:12Speaker 1: was the final one score game. That's my hot take
- 17:15Speaker 1: that we're going to see this season. We've seen a
- 17:18Speaker 1: lot of close losses, nine one score losses this year,
- 17:21Speaker 1: because it felt like they were always close to getting
- 17:23Speaker 1: a win. I don't think we're going to see that
- 17:24Speaker 1: the rest of the way. Mason Rudolph's now the quarterback
- 17:26Speaker 1: for the Titans. I think if they had had him
- 17:28Speaker 1: in a quarterback, I don't believe the Jags would have
- 17:30Speaker 1: won that most recent game in Nashville. And I think
- 17:33Speaker 1: the Colts are trying to put something together, proof something
- 17:35Speaker 1: to themselves the back half of their season. So unfortunately,
- 17:37Speaker 1: I think the three that we got are the three
- 17:39Speaker 1: that we're going to have the rest of the way.
- 17:41Speaker 2: And well, especially if you're playing without more guys, right,
- 17:44Speaker 2: I mean, if Walker little because I thought cold Van
- 17:46Speaker 2: Landon played pretty well. I mean, I know we had
- 17:48Speaker 2: the holding call on that key fourth down play, but
- 17:50Speaker 2: I didn't even notice it most of the game. So
- 17:52Speaker 2: we obviously came in and did a pretty decent job.
- 17:55Speaker 2: But you know, when you lose more guys, I mean,
- 17:57Speaker 2: Ventral Miller's a guy that you might not have back,
- 17:59Speaker 2: and maybe Anton Harra send you just if you Yeah, yeah,
- 18:03Speaker 2: I think you're right.
- 18:03Speaker 1: It's gonna be a tough one.
- 18:04Speaker 4: I think Sunday could be a repeat of yesterday because
- 18:09Speaker 4: the Titans are in the same boat. So you've got again,
- 18:12Speaker 4: two more teams in the same both that you don't
- 18:15Speaker 4: want to be.
- 18:15Speaker 2: I'll say this, Doug Peterson's four and one against the Titans.
- 18:18Speaker 2: That's not something a lot of Jaguars coaches over the
- 18:21Speaker 2: history of that series have been able to claim a
- 18:23Speaker 2: winning record.
- 18:23Speaker 3: So maybe he's got a little something. We'll see. I'm hopeful.
- 18:26Speaker 3: I'm hopeful.
- 18:27Speaker 1: There we go, and I'd love to be wrong. We
- 18:29Speaker 1: always love a Titans win no matter when it comes.

- 18:55Speaker 1: shopping is a Pleasure's gonna be the final home game
- 18:58Speaker 1: of the season, guys, and many ways this is s
- 19:01Speaker 1: felt like the season would never end. But we are
- 19:03Speaker 1: nearing the end, and what's it gonna look like? Do
- 19:07Speaker 1: we know?
- 19:09Speaker 3: I think he's gonna look into over to the crowd.
- 19:10Speaker 3: In terms of the in terms of all of it. Uh. I, Oh,
- 19:17Speaker 3: we've seen it.
- 19:17Speaker 4: I mean I I I the last few games in
- 19:20Speaker 4: a season like this, there's a little less I a
- 19:23Speaker 4: little less enthusiasm for it. I think the game will
- 19:27Speaker 4: look very similar to what the last few games will
- 19:29Speaker 4: look like. I think you're gonna see a bunch of Jaguars, uh,
- 19:31Speaker 4: players that are trying hard, and you know, the top
- 19:36Speaker 4: guns aren't playing, So it's gonna.
- 19:38Speaker 3: Be what we've seen. Uh.
- 19:41Speaker 4: Now, they might catch lighting in a bottle and have
- 19:43Speaker 4: a really good game and get a win.
- 19:46Speaker 3: Uh.
- 19:47Speaker 4: But it's been sort of middling lately. Yeah, I I
- 19:50Speaker 4: I kind of expect that we'll see well, I I
- 19:53Speaker 4: shet off the top and you kind of alluded to it.
- 19:56Speaker 4: I it feels like the human nature of a difficult
- 19:58Speaker 4: season in the holidays and so many of their top
- 20:01Speaker 4: players not playing, and so many young players having to play.
- 20:05Speaker 4: I mean, it just feels like the weight of a long,
- 20:08Speaker 4: disappointing season has just gotten to be too much and
- 20:12Speaker 4: their ability to fight it back is limited.
- 20:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 20:17Speaker 4: Most of these games at the end of the season
- 20:18Speaker 4: like this come down to I guess it. The Jagged
- 20:21Speaker 4: stayed in it because they got a lead. Okay, some enthusiasm.
- 20:25Speaker 3: We're going. The danger of these it is if you get.
- 20:28Speaker 4: Down by double digits at some point then guys. Doug
- 20:34Speaker 4: talked about it in his presser this week. It's not
- 20:36Speaker 4: that you quit, it's that when you get down ten
- 20:41Speaker 4: or something goes wrong, you sort of go off script
- 20:44Speaker 4: and you try to do too much and then it
- 20:46Speaker 4: just sort of gets Well.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Luckily you don't have the Lions or the Bills or
- 20:49Speaker 2: the Chiefs on your schedule the next two weeks.
- 20:51Speaker 1: You've seen that, Yeah, that was not good. Team has
- 20:54Speaker 1: a little bit of a break for the holiday. We
- 20:55Speaker 1: hope you guys enjoy your holiday as well. We will
- 20:57Speaker 1: be back here on JAGXAM on Thursday to talk a
- 21:00Speaker 1: little bit more about that Titans game coming up on Sunday.
- 21:19Speaker 6: H
