It’s a safe assumption that nobody likes to feel disregarded. Unfortunately, many of us have or will experience this in various phases of life. As a child, perhaps a classmate shared his candy with everyone in the class except you. Maybe as a teenager, the girl of your dreams rejected your invite to homecoming and laughed it off with her friends.
