- 0:02Speaker 1: Trey, can you play the intro?
- 0:04Speaker 2: Please?
- 0:05Speaker 1: All right, it is time to leave your worries outside
- 0:37Speaker 1: and laugh with us inside the tree house. I'm Dan
- 0:40Speaker 1: Olmley along with Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharma. Everyone stop
- 0:45Speaker 1: what you're doing and pay attention very very closely, because
- 0:51Speaker 1: I have found it. I have found the stupidest story
- 0:56Speaker 1: of the year. And it's not even close. I realize
- 1:00Speaker 1: we've got almost four months left of this year. I
- 1:05Speaker 1: challenged the stupidest of the stupid among us to do
- 1:09Speaker 1: something stupider than this.
- 1:13Speaker 3: That's throwing down a gauntlet.
- 1:17Speaker 1: It's a big, dumb gauntlet. And when you hear this story, Tray,
- 1:21Speaker 1: you're going to be on my side. A Texas man
- 1:25Speaker 1: has been charged with murder after he and his friend
- 1:28Speaker 1: allegedly took turns shooting each other. It doesn't get any
- 1:36Speaker 1: stupider than that, and if it does, I will make
- 1:40Speaker 1: you a plaque into trophy.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Why don't even think that's original, guys, I.
- 1:49Speaker 3: Thought, well, I take that.
- 1:51Speaker 4: So.
- 1:51Speaker 3: I remember there was a story.
- 1:55Speaker 5: I don't know a while ago, but I think it
- 1:57Speaker 5: was at Arkansas and they were taking turns shooting each other.
- 2:00Speaker 5: Now they had kevlar vest On.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Well, these guys kicked it up a notch and did
- 2:07Speaker 1: it with kevlar helmets.
- 2:13Speaker 2: I definitely, I definitely went. I definitely went to high
- 2:15Speaker 2: school with those guys.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Well, like I said, this happened in Texas, so they
- 2:21Speaker 1: didn't go far raj and if Arkansas, if the Arkansas
- 2:25Speaker 1: pair shot each other in the chest with keV lar vests,
- 2:29Speaker 1: the Texas boys here said, hold our beers. A man
- 2:34Speaker 1: is facing a murder charge over his friend's death after
- 2:36Speaker 1: Texas authorities alleged the two men took turns shooting each other.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Sean O'Donnell, who's forty six, was arrested last week after
- 2:44Speaker 1: his friend was shot in the head at Shawn's house.
- 2:48Speaker 1: That's according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez. Deputies first
- 2:51Speaker 1: responded to the home and found an adult male with
- 2:54Speaker 1: a gunshot wound to the head. The man, Aaron Prout,
- 2:58Speaker 1: was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.
- 3:00Speaker 1: According to Gonzales, That's the sheriff, The incident was first
- 3:03Speaker 1: believed to be a suicide, but things weren't adding up
- 3:07Speaker 1: upon further investigation. Prout and O'Donnell these are the two
- 3:11Speaker 1: friends allegedly put on a kevlar helmet and took turns
- 3:14Speaker 1: shooting at each other with a rifle inside Shawn's house.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Sean was charged on Thursday with account of murder in
- 3:22Speaker 1: his friend's death, court shows. Court records show a three
- 3:25Speaker 1: hundred thousand dollars bond was set, but he appears to
- 3:28Speaker 1: remain in custody s of Tuesday morning because chances are
- 3:31Speaker 1: he don't got it. A public defender representing him during
- 3:34Speaker 1: his court appearance, and NBC News reached out to Harris
- 3:37Speaker 1: County Public Defender's office for comment, They have not received
- 3:41Speaker 1: one as of yet. In addition to this being probably
- 3:45Speaker 1: the stupidest story of the year, and again I challenge
- 3:48Speaker 1: people to try to not just meet it, but exceed it.
- 3:53Speaker 1: To me, this doesn't feel like a murder case, because
- 3:56Speaker 1: for murder there's supposed to be you know, like premeditation,
- 4:00Speaker 1: sort of malice or something. Right, This is just too
- 4:02Speaker 1: idiot shooting at each other, right, Or are they saying
- 4:04Speaker 1: that actually rises to the level of premeditation when you
- 4:08Speaker 1: tell your buddy put this helmet on and let me
- 4:12Speaker 1: shoot you.
- 4:15Speaker 5: So my first question is did the guys miss or
- 4:19Speaker 5: or or did the kevlar not not do its job?
- 4:22Speaker 1: Great question? Poor journalism here on the part of NBC News.
- 4:26Speaker 1: That's a great question. I'd like to know that.
- 4:28Speaker 3: Were they waiting on the meth to cook?
- 4:36Speaker 2: How? And what were their names?
- 4:41Speaker 6: Uh?
- 4:43Speaker 1: It was Sean and Aaron?
- 4:45Speaker 2: Yeah, Tray you want to take that?
- 4:47Speaker 5: Oh yeah, no, there's no let's look at let's just
- 4:52Speaker 5: you know, kevlar, helmet, rifle, SNA.
- 5:00Speaker 3: Yeah, that's white.
- 5:01Speaker 2: It all adds up to white.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Yes.
- 5:07Speaker 6: I I don't know how you convinced, Like how charming
- 5:11Speaker 6: you have to be to convince somebody to do this,
- 5:16Speaker 6: like okay.
- 5:17Speaker 3: Hear me out?
- 5:18Speaker 2: Like then, and I walked up to you, like, here's
- 5:20Speaker 2: the deal.
- 5:21Speaker 6: I've got these helmets, okay, also got these rifles.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Yeah, let's take turns shooting each other.
- 5:30Speaker 6: I'm out, Okay, Fine, you're out, Trey, we got these helmets,
- 5:40Speaker 6: got these rifles.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Dan's out, Let's shoot each other.
- 5:45Speaker 3: What caliber is the rifle?
- 5:49Speaker 1: That's our? Boy, that is our that's the one.
- 5:55Speaker 6: That's the Leonard talking, Yeah, Highland parks Like I'm out.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Uh, that's the third in his lineage talking. He's been
- 6:06Speaker 1: watered down through the generations.
- 6:10Speaker 3: That's why the name dies with me.
- 6:22Speaker 7: You're in the Treehouse.
- 6:25Speaker 4: Visit us online at treehouseonair dot com.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Let's get Daniel Cook from COOKDFW Roofing and Restoration into
- 6:34Speaker 1: the Treehouse now. Reason why because it's happy in here.
- 6:37Speaker 1: It's a happy place. It's full of fun and laughs
- 6:39Speaker 1: and friendship. And there's another place, Daniel, that you hang
- 6:43Speaker 1: out at sometimes that is not like that. I'm of
- 6:46Speaker 1: course talking about at and T Stadium in Arlington, where
- 6:49Speaker 1: our Cowboys play. Do you and Carrie have any plans
- 6:52Speaker 1: on seeing any games this year? Are you gonna keep
- 6:54Speaker 1: your suffering to a minimum?
- 6:56Speaker 3: You know, we go generally.
- 6:58Speaker 8: He wants to hear to watch a game. We get
- 7:01Speaker 8: lucky occasionally, like a couple of years ago they were
- 7:04Speaker 8: like eight and one at home or something like that.
- 7:07Speaker 8: But then they were like two and six on the
- 7:09Speaker 8: road or something like that. So we got lucky one year.
- 7:12Speaker 8: We saw a couple of games that year. It just
- 7:15Speaker 8: depends on how much of a bad mood do we
- 7:17Speaker 8: want to be and when we leave. That's really what
- 7:20Speaker 8: it's about. And you know, we try to get out
- 7:22Speaker 8: there early. We do a little bit of tailgating. We
- 7:24Speaker 8: meet some folks you know, we have a good time.
- 7:27Speaker 8: I know some people that work out there, so we
- 7:29Speaker 8: try to meet up with them sometimes. But watching the
- 7:32Speaker 8: game has definitely been hard to do in the last
- 7:35Speaker 8: couple of years because your expectations are just not being met.
- 7:39Speaker 8: And I know so many people want to blame different
- 7:41Speaker 8: people about it, but at the end of the day,
- 7:43Speaker 8: there's thirty two teams that have to start every year
- 7:46Speaker 8: the same way, and it just seems like the Cowboys
- 7:50Speaker 8: find a way of not being there. And so I
- 7:54Speaker 8: don't know what to expect this year. I'm very concerned
- 7:57Speaker 8: Dak coming off the injury year. You know, our backup
- 8:00Speaker 8: quarterback that was supposed to be really good, I don't
- 8:01Speaker 8: feel good about him. We let well Cooper rush. You know,
- 8:05Speaker 8: We're running backs are still not decided. Really, our line
- 8:08Speaker 8: doesn't look like it's the best it could be. We're
- 8:10Speaker 8: getting pushed around. I mean, just the key fundamentals that
- 8:13Speaker 8: we learned in sixth and seventh grade. It seems like
- 8:15Speaker 8: these guys are still struggling to find out what what
- 8:18Speaker 8: wins the game. So I don't know, We'll see. We'll
- 8:20Speaker 8: probably will go to one game. We're glutton for punishment,
- 8:23Speaker 8: so we'll give it one shot.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Probably the most important thing that you said in there, Daniel,
- 8:28Speaker 1: was that was expectations. While our cowboys may fail to
- 8:32Speaker 1: meet our expectations and have for many many years, you
- 8:36Speaker 1: deliver and sometimes over deliver on expectations when it comes
- 8:40Speaker 1: to Cook DFW Roofing and Restoration called Daniel and his
- 8:44Speaker 1: outstanding team. Today eight three to three Cook DFW or
- 8:47Speaker 1: the website cookdfw dot com.
- 8:58Speaker 9: You're listening to the true visit us online at Treehouseonair
- 9:03Speaker 9: dot com.
- 9:06Speaker 1: This segment of the Treehouse is brought to you by

- 9:16Speaker 1: a few days left to get that free estimate on
- 9:19Speaker 1: a brand new outdoor space provided by cook DFW. And
- 9:22Speaker 1: when you get that, you will be entered into a
- 9:25Speaker 1: contest to win a big green egg once again courtesy
- 9:28Speaker 1: of our friends at COOKDFW Roofing and Restoration. Eight three
- 9:31Speaker 1: three COOKDFW or the website cookdfw dot com. Today is
- 9:38Speaker 1: the day. It is NFL Kickoff Day, which means it
- 9:43Speaker 1: is the culmination of Trey's thirteen step program to help
- 9:48Speaker 1: US Cowboys fans addicted to the most toxic team in
- 9:52Speaker 1: the NFL. And yes, that is, of course the Dallas Cowboys,
- 9:55Speaker 1: of which we've all been lifelong fans. But there is
- 9:58Speaker 1: a shift and helping because Trey, while you've been addicted
- 10:02Speaker 1: to pretty much everything on the planet and you have
- 10:06Speaker 1: kicked those nasty habits and been sober for nine years,
- 10:09Speaker 1: your last great addiction has been the Dallas Cowboys. So
- 10:14Speaker 1: I would like to thank you for your efforts in
- 10:16Speaker 1: leading this charge and leading this group. Whereas today, since
- 10:23Speaker 1: it's kickoff day, we will finish with the final three
- 10:26Speaker 1: steps of your Cowboys Anonymous program.
- 10:29Speaker 3: Yeah, and let me just say this because.
- 10:33Speaker 5: A lot of people are going to relapse tonight, and
- 10:38Speaker 5: but you know there's still a seat for you tomorrow.
- 10:42Speaker 1: So you're saying, if the Cowboys were to win, don't
- 10:46Speaker 1: get too far ahead of ourselves. That's like Cowboys Anonymous.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Cowboys Anonymous will still be meeting.
- 10:52Speaker 3: I feel like.
- 10:53Speaker 5: It's going to be more of just the the mass
- 10:56Speaker 5: disappointment because there's a delusion men out there that Dak
- 11:00Speaker 5: owns the Eagles.
- 11:03Speaker 1: Well, I mean record wise, he does. Okay, it may
- 11:11Speaker 1: not pass the eye test, but record wise all right,
- 11:15Speaker 1: So let's quickly recap the previous steps inside Trey's recovery program.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Cowboys anonymous leading us to Trey unveiling his final three
- 11:25Speaker 1: steps leading up to the kickoff tonight between our Dallas
- 11:29Speaker 1: Cowboys and those mighty mighty Eagles, bless all right. Number one,
- 11:35Speaker 1: we admitted we were powerless over the Cowboys, Our team
- 11:38Speaker 1: and at salary cap have become unmanageable. Step number two
- 11:41Speaker 1: came to believe that only a power greater than ourselves,
- 11:43Speaker 1: namely an owner GM and head coach, could restore us
- 11:45Speaker 1: to sanity. Number three made a decision to turn our
- 11:48Speaker 1: fandomand our falls over to the care of a God
- 11:50Speaker 1: as we understand him, someone who actually knows football and talent.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Number four made a searching and fearless inventory of our
- 11:56Speaker 1: roster and the time we've devoted to it. Five admitted God,
- 12:00Speaker 1: ourselves and another human being that we suck and our
- 12:02Speaker 1: roster is doo doo and dak is mid at best.
- 12:05Speaker 1: That's my favorite one to read. By the way, if
- 12:06Speaker 1: you couldn't tell number six, we're entirely ready for God,
- 12:10Speaker 1: the NFL, or someone who knows what they're doing to
- 12:13Speaker 1: remove all the defects in our roster. Number seven, humbling
- 12:16Speaker 1: asked them to remove all the shortcomings from our roster
- 12:18Speaker 1: and get rid of all the contracts no other team
- 12:20Speaker 1: would have signed. Number eight made a list of all
- 12:21Speaker 1: the people who had harmed with who we had harmed
- 12:25Speaker 1: with our delusional this is our year beliefs, and became
- 12:27Speaker 1: willing to make amends to them. Number nine made direct
- 12:30Speaker 1: amends to such people wherever possible, including fans of other teams,
- 12:34Speaker 1: except Philly fans because they can still suck it. Number
- 12:36Speaker 1: ten continue to take roster and team inventory and realize
- 12:39Speaker 1: that it is hopeless that in reality, the only time
- 12:42Speaker 1: the Cowboys look good is against prevent defenses and clock
- 12:46Speaker 1: killing offenses. Those are the ten steps so far. It
- 12:49Speaker 1: is time for the final three steps of Tray's Cowboys
- 12:53Speaker 1: Anonymous Program.
- 12:56Speaker 5: Step eleven sought through prayer, study, and meditation to improve
- 13:01Speaker 5: our consciousness and understanding of good football. Praying for knowledge
- 13:05Speaker 5: to understand how good teams play and are run.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Ugh, it is.
- 13:12Speaker 1: It is tough. It is tough, especially because we're all
- 13:15Speaker 1: from Texas and we all played football, so I feel
- 13:18Speaker 1: like we as fans typically know a little bit more
- 13:22Speaker 1: but that's the delusion I think that they pull us into.
- 13:25Speaker 5: No, it's I mean, there are a lot of very
- 13:28Speaker 5: successful high school programs that are run better than the Cowboys.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Yes, ironically, a lot of Jerry's kids and grandkids went
- 13:35Speaker 1: to Highland Park, so you should know this is the
- 13:39Speaker 1: model right there.
- 13:42Speaker 3: Hy Step twelve.
- 13:44Speaker 5: Having had a spiritual awakening as a result of these steps,
- 13:47Speaker 5: we try to carry these messages to other Cowboy holics
- 13:51Speaker 5: and pour our energy into teams that are worthy of
- 13:53Speaker 5: our time and hope, unless they're Aggie, they require more
- 13:57Speaker 5: help than we offer.
- 13:58Speaker 3: It's a cult thing.
- 14:04Speaker 5: And then the final step, step thirteen, free ourselves to
- 14:09Speaker 5: cheer for a team that actually has a chance of
- 14:12Speaker 5: winning a super Bowl and make our sundays enjoyable again.
- 14:17Speaker 1: Oh man, that's definitely the toughest step of them all.
- 14:22Speaker 5: Go Kansas City, you know That's I find That's really
- 14:27Speaker 5: the beautiful thing is you're just kind of like a
- 14:29Speaker 5: free agent. You can just you can be whimsical with
- 14:32Speaker 5: your your you can root for different teams.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Just that's so hard for me to do, and I
- 14:36Speaker 1: feel like that's a generational thing that that should be
- 14:39Speaker 1: hard for all of us to do because we grew
- 14:41Speaker 1: up cheering for the team, right Because while it shifted
- 14:45Speaker 1: into free agency and all these things, you grew up
- 14:47Speaker 1: really married to your team and that was your team,
- 14:50Speaker 1: ride or die type of thing.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Right.
- 14:52Speaker 1: Well, then when free agency hit, all the younger generations like,
- 14:54Speaker 1: why would I care about this team? I'm more of
- 14:56Speaker 1: a fan of a player, and I'll follow that.
- 14:59Speaker 5: But we grew up when the Cowboys were successful.
- 15:02Speaker 1: I know, I know, And and that's what's difficult about
- 15:05Speaker 1: commitment is commitment means you're there in good times and
- 15:09Speaker 1: in bad. Actually, I'm just describing marriage. I'm not married
- 15:11Speaker 1: to the Cowboys. That's if that were the case, then
- 15:13Speaker 1: if we get a divorce, I want half.
- 15:15Speaker 3: You're Dan, Dan, You're you're talking. It's like an abusive relationship.
- 15:22Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, you're right.
- 15:23Speaker 5: Then you're going to change. He won't do it again.
- 15:26Speaker 5: He won't smack Jerry, won't smack me around like a bit.
- 15:30Speaker 1: He'll take the playoffs after his second bottle of Johnny
- 15:35Speaker 1: Walker blue.
- 15:36Speaker 6: But I mean the Kansas City Chiefs, I mean Lamar
- 15:39Speaker 6: Hunt took them from here.
- 15:40Speaker 2: There were the Texans, right, m m.
- 15:42Speaker 1: That they were Actually Dallas's are og in fl team.
- 15:46Speaker 1: It was the Dallas Texans that he moved to Kansas
- 15:48Speaker 1: City and renamed him the Chiefs.
- 15:49Speaker 2: Yeah, so let's all work for the Chiefs.
- 15:54Speaker 1: You know what? Right now, I'm a big fan of
- 15:56Speaker 1: of of of Taylor and Travis, So I'm okay with that,
- 15:59Speaker 1: you know, I'm I'm a fan of Joy and if
- 16:03Speaker 1: I'm being honest, I actually do really enjoy the old
- 16:07Speaker 1: Dallas Texans logo that the Chiefs will occasionally pull out.
- 16:11Speaker 1: Like I remember the first time they pulled out that
- 16:13Speaker 1: that original Dallas Texans logo on the sidelines of a
- 16:17Speaker 1: Chiefs game. I was like, look at them pulling up
- 16:20Speaker 1: the Texas hats.
- 16:21Speaker 7: Wow.
- 16:23Speaker 5: Yeah, it's like occasionally, like when the Titans busted out
- 16:27Speaker 5: the oilers old oh yeah logo, I was like.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Oh that just that just felt like a big oily
- 16:32Speaker 1: middle finger.
- 16:33Speaker 3: You know what.
- 16:34Speaker 5: There had been enough separation where I was like, oh,
- 16:36Speaker 5: you know what, I missed those.
- 16:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:40Speaker 5: But I'm also I'm a big fan of powder blue uniforms,
- 16:43Speaker 5: like that's.
- 16:46Speaker 1: It was a sucker for baby blue. All right, so
- 16:53Speaker 1: you're you're switching to Chiefs now, since this is your program.
- 16:56Speaker 3: I'm a free listen I'm not bound.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Oh he's free.
- 17:01Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean I I there's part of me that's
- 17:04Speaker 5: gonna root for the commanders, just to put just to
- 17:07Speaker 5: give the middle.
- 17:08Speaker 3: Finger to the cowboys.
- 17:09Speaker 1: But no, never the okay, yeah, well okank God you
- 17:13Speaker 1: have substandards too.
- 17:17Speaker 2: I don't want to come to that group meeting now.
- 17:19Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm a cowboy aholic, not a moron.
- 17:24Speaker 3: I took two.
- 17:25Speaker 5: I took shots at two teams that I will never
- 17:27Speaker 5: root for, Eagles and Aggie.
- 17:31Speaker 6: What if it's an Aggie cowboy combination. What if they
- 17:34Speaker 6: come into the program seeking your help, because.
- 17:37Speaker 5: I said, if they're Aggie, they have to go to
- 17:39Speaker 5: like there's a scientology cowboy group.
- 17:42Speaker 3: They need to go to.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Two doors down, and they make you pay for the
- 17:48Speaker 1: coffee and donuts.
- 17:57Speaker 7: You're in the Treehouse.

- 18:14Speaker 7: You're in the Treehouse.

- 18:21Speaker 1: It is proven that the Treehouse Show makes everything better.
- 18:25Speaker 1: Good day, The Treehouse Show make it a great day.
- 18:28Speaker 1: Having a bad day, well, the Treehouse Show will make
- 18:29Speaker 1: it a good day. Sounds like the Fox fourth thing,
- 18:32Speaker 1: but still you get the idea. Share the show with
- 18:34Speaker 1: a friend today, make their day just a little bit
- 18:36Speaker 1: better from your favorite listening platform, hit that share button
- 18:39Speaker 1: and send the show to a friend today, or better yet,
- 18:42Speaker 1: share that on social media so all of your friends
- 18:45Speaker 1: and family know you listen and laugh to the Treehouse show.
- 18:49Speaker 1: Let's grow. AI is taking over And while this sounds
- 18:55Speaker 1: a little bit like Black Mirror, the AI powered romance
- 18:58Speaker 1: era may be close, then, we think. The founder of
- 19:02Speaker 1: Bumble says, the future of dating is having your AI
- 19:06Speaker 1: date other people's AI and then have it recommend the
- 19:11Speaker 1: best matches for you to meet. Trey as a single man,
- 19:17Speaker 1: Raj as a somewhere in between single and taken, would
- 19:21Speaker 1: you be open to the idea of having an AI
- 19:26Speaker 1: dating bot to pre screen somebody else's AI dating bot
- 19:31Speaker 1: and then you can figure out this stuff once they
- 19:34Speaker 1: go through whatever parameters that you need. Are you ready
- 19:38Speaker 1: to have AI take over your romantic life?
- 19:42Speaker 3: You can't do worse.
- 19:47Speaker 1: It was the best of times, it was the worst
- 19:49Speaker 1: of times inside the Treehouse. Yeah, that was actually perfectly
- 19:53Speaker 1: said by both of you, because Raj, you are very
- 19:57Speaker 1: ardent against AI, and Trey at this point has has
- 20:02Speaker 1: obviously given up. So sure, let the bot take over
- 20:05Speaker 1: all right, you know what, I commend you both. Trey,
- 20:08Speaker 1: I commend you for keeping an open mind. Ra I
- 20:11Speaker 1: commend you for sticking to your guns.
- 20:13Speaker 6: Yeah, this is how, this is how it starts. I'm
- 20:17Speaker 6: telling you, they're like, hey, we're just helping you out, buddy.
- 20:20Speaker 6: We want we want you to find love. And then
- 20:22Speaker 6: that's when the takeover starts.
- 20:25Speaker 1: Yeah, and it might start as no, no, I'm let
- 20:28Speaker 1: me help you, Raj, buddy, old pal, I'm your AI
- 20:31Speaker 1: bought and I'm going to go out I'm going to
- 20:33Speaker 1: go out there into the world. I'm gonna find you somebody,
- 20:36Speaker 1: somebody worth your time, right, and eventually it's gonna get
- 20:41Speaker 1: it's gonna get rough out there, and then I'm just
- 20:43Speaker 1: gonna select someone that's going to be genetically worthy of you.
- 20:47Speaker 1: So then we're just gonna take over with a whole
- 20:49Speaker 1: new genetic program that AI is orchestrated.
- 20:52Speaker 5: My first big yes, the big red flag that that
- 21:00Speaker 5: comes with this is if your AI knows you that well,
- 21:06Speaker 5: you've been spending way too much time with your AI,
- 21:13Speaker 5: and what comes with that.
- 21:17Speaker 1: Oh, I'm pretty sure he did. We're not gonna edit
- 21:19Speaker 1: that out. We're gonna leave it right there, which is
- 21:22Speaker 1: a great time to mention. If you are not currently
- 21:24Speaker 1: subscribed to our Patreon, you need to be so you
- 21:27Speaker 1: can see the exact moment locked up on screen Patreon
- 21:31Speaker 1: dot com slash Treehouse on air.
- 21:33Speaker 2: Yeah, I may.
- 21:35Speaker 1: Just what we should do is just we should get
- 21:38Speaker 1: a screen grab of Raj's face and just use that
- 21:41Speaker 1: as like the episode U photo. That's uh, but it's
- 21:51Speaker 1: kind of distracting, it says a lot without hearing him
- 21:57Speaker 1: say anything.
- 21:59Speaker 5: But yeah, I mean, and AI, what are they basing
- 22:04Speaker 5: it off of? Because I just are are they basing
- 22:07Speaker 5: it off the way people answer the dating questions?
- 22:10Speaker 3: Because that's a bunch of bs.
- 22:13Speaker 1: I don't know. Bumble founder Whitney Wolf heard, that's a
- 22:18Speaker 1: great last name. Whitney Wolf heard.
- 22:20Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 22:21Speaker 1: She imagines a future where AI manages your love life,
- 22:24Speaker 1: interacting with other AIS to find the perfect match. Her
- 22:28Speaker 1: dating concierge could scan hundreds of profiles, picking only the
- 22:33Speaker 1: best for you. So there you go. So you'd have
- 22:37Speaker 1: your own personal AI romance bot, sifting through profiles and
- 22:43Speaker 1: doing the tedious task of swiping one direction or the
- 22:46Speaker 1: other on your behalf, freeing you up to do other things.
- 22:49Speaker 1: What I don't know.
- 22:53Speaker 5: Yeah, so then you're basically going to have a blind
- 22:55Speaker 5: date with that AI has set up.
- 22:58Speaker 2: M hmm.
- 22:59Speaker 5: I mean, like I said, it'd be hard to do
- 23:03Speaker 5: any worse than I do, so I guess I have
- 23:06Speaker 5: to be open to it. But it just seems like
- 23:09Speaker 5: it's fraught with problems and you. The other thing is,
- 23:13Speaker 5: I don't care how good AI is. A I can't
- 23:16Speaker 5: spot the crazy like I can.
- 23:19Speaker 1: That is how you know AI will not completely take
- 23:22Speaker 1: over because it definitely takes a human touch and experience
- 23:27Speaker 1: to know crazy when he sees it.
- 23:30Speaker 5: Yeah, ay, I don't know crazy. A. I can't find
- 23:33Speaker 5: a punchline. There are some things A I just really
- 23:36Speaker 5: you know, maybe one day, but not probably not in
- 23:38Speaker 5: our lifetime.
- 23:39Speaker 1: Well, it's not fault AI completely. It's not like we
- 23:41Speaker 1: always find a punchline. Just most of the time.
- 23:52Speaker 7: You're in the Treehouse.
- 23:54Speaker 4: Visit us online at Treehouse on air dot com.
- 23:58Speaker 1: By the way, Raj is blaming AI for kicking him
- 24:00Speaker 1: off the internet conspiracy theories.
- 24:04Speaker 10: Jesus, you're listening to the tree House.
- 24:16Speaker 9: Visit us online at treehouseonair dot com.
- 24:22Speaker 1: It is time to advertise right here inside the Treehouse.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Sponsorship opportunities are available if you're interested to shoot us
- 24:28Speaker 1: an email Treehouse on Air at gmail dot com. That's
- 24:31Speaker 1: Treehouse on Air at gmail dot com to advertise right
- 24:35Speaker 1: here inside the Treehouse. Welcome back, RAJ. Hopefully the AI
- 24:41Speaker 1: and you have made somewhat of enough piece for you
- 24:44Speaker 1: to be here for the remainder of the show.
- 24:47Speaker 7: I hope.
- 24:47Speaker 1: So this is not the first time, though, that technology
- 24:51Speaker 1: has bitten someone right in the ass. Case in Point,
- 24:55Speaker 1: a scientist who helped design breathalyzers to catch drunk drivers
- 25:01Speaker 1: was arrested for drunk driving after failing a breathalyzer. That's
- 25:07Speaker 1: pretty good, right, It's poetic justice. It really really is,
- 25:12Speaker 1: kind of but it does get a little bit better.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Retired doctor Richard Lacey mounted around about in his car. Seriously,
- 25:24Speaker 1: big thumbs up to the Daily Mail for coming up
- 25:26Speaker 1: with that gym mounted around about. That's something that we
- 25:29Speaker 1: would never come up with in America. That's definitely an
- 25:33Speaker 1: English thing. I like that.
- 25:37Speaker 3: Mounted a roundabout.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Uh huh?
- 25:42Speaker 3: Did he drive through the center of it?
- 25:44Speaker 1: Or yeah? Sorry, I probably should have. I probably should
- 25:47Speaker 1: have thrown in that additional prepositional phrase. He mounted a
- 25:50Speaker 1: roundabout in his car. It wasn't like he was just
- 25:52Speaker 1: dry humping the big thing in the middle as people
- 25:55Speaker 1: drove around him. This was after drinking an entire bottle
- 26:00Speaker 1: of wine and pints with his lunch. He is one
- 26:04Speaker 1: of the scientists who helped design breathalyzers to catch drunken motorists,
- 26:09Speaker 1: so good on him. It's you know, it's kind of
- 26:12Speaker 1: like Frankenstein's monster, but Frankenstein's breathalyzer.
- 26:16Speaker 3: Kind of like a Jerry and the salary cap.
- 26:21Speaker 1: That's very true, destroyed by the thing he created.
- 26:30Speaker 6: Yeah, I've I've asked for a breathalyzer before. I wasn't
- 26:34Speaker 6: drinking at all. I was leaving the Dolls Comedy Club
- 26:37Speaker 6: and my lights had been turned off by the valet.
- 26:39Speaker 6: And if they don't calibrate it right, this was comical
- 26:43Speaker 6: to me. They're they're like, we have to do a
- 26:45Speaker 6: field sobriety test. I was like, can I just have
- 26:47Speaker 6: the breathalyzer and we can get this over with right now?
- 26:49Speaker 6: And he's like sure, And I blew into it zero
- 26:51Speaker 6: point four to three. Like I was like, I think
- 26:55Speaker 6: the max by the way, I don't.
- 26:56Speaker 1: I don't think those go higher than that.
- 26:58Speaker 6: Yeah, I was like, I think, I'm I think that
- 27:00Speaker 6: would be dead, sir. Can I get one that's calibrated?
- 27:04Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 27:04Speaker 1: Can you like give that a smack or something to
- 27:07Speaker 1: say that thing?
- 27:08Speaker 6: Young younger kid came over and gave me the breather
- 27:11Speaker 6: lyzer point oh oh one.
- 27:12Speaker 2: I was like, Eah, that's that's a lot better than
- 27:14Speaker 2: being in an alcohol induced coma.
- 27:18Speaker 1: The ultimate, the ultimate dick cop thing though, would have
- 27:21Speaker 1: been all right, Well, we got to take the average
- 27:22Speaker 1: of the two, so that means you're a point to two,
- 27:25Speaker 1: one five and behind your back, sir.
- 27:29Speaker 2: Three times the legal limit. Oh uh so yeah, a
- 27:36Speaker 2: poor guy.
- 27:37Speaker 6: I mean, did they did they offer him the did
- 27:40Speaker 6: they offer him a breathalyzer? Is that?
- 27:42Speaker 3: We said?
- 27:42Speaker 1: Oh yeah, absolutely?
- 27:44Speaker 2: Oh wow yeah.
- 27:45Speaker 1: Man uh. Doctor Lacey said, I'm retired. I designed breathalyzers
- 27:51Speaker 1: and used to work with the police. I had a
- 27:53Speaker 1: couple of glasses of wine with lunch and a few
- 27:55Speaker 1: pints of beer. The court heard his breath was measured
- 27:59Speaker 1: at forty one micrograms, exceeding the legal limit of thirty
- 28:02Speaker 1: five micrograms. And since I'm American and don't do well
- 28:06Speaker 1: with the metric system, I don't know if that's a
- 28:08Speaker 1: lot more or not. It sounds like not a whole
- 28:10Speaker 1: lot because it's micrograms. But I don't efen know.
- 28:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean it's enough to be impaired. But I mean,
- 28:18Speaker 2: he but I want to go to lunch with this
- 28:20Speaker 2: stut it does?
- 28:22Speaker 1: Yeah, Well, look he's retired. It's not like he's going
- 28:24Speaker 1: back to the lab. I mean, look, I'll tell you
- 28:27Speaker 1: right now, when I'm retired and I go to lunch,
- 28:30Speaker 1: this is going to sound similar. I might have a
- 28:31Speaker 1: very similar menu.
- 28:33Speaker 5: I mean, if point three to five in micrograms is
- 28:35Speaker 5: the legal limit, then he is a point four to one.
- 28:41Speaker 1: Forget the points. I don't, I don't. I don't know
- 28:43Speaker 1: how that works.
- 28:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know how.
- 28:47Speaker 1: I don't know how. I don't know how that compares
- 28:48Speaker 1: to what we know of the breathalyzer. They're just saying
- 28:51Speaker 1: thirty five micrograms is the legal limit. He was forty one.
- 28:54Speaker 5: Well, I know, but if that's the case, it doesn't
- 28:57Speaker 5: take rocket science figure out he was barely over the limit.
- 29:00Speaker 6: Yeah, but I also who goes from wine to beer? Doctors, pilots,
- 29:11Speaker 6: we just start naming professions.
- 29:13Speaker 1: Well, no, I mean it makes sense because I'm a doctor.
- 29:16Speaker 1: I'm going to start with the wine. And then after
- 29:18Speaker 1: he's had enough wine, he's like, and I.
- 29:19Speaker 2: Want a beer.
- 29:22Speaker 3: A retired Englishman.
- 29:25Speaker 1: Actually yeah, he started out. He tried to be fancy,
- 29:29Speaker 1: but all that schooling I couldn't mask the inner Englishman.
- 29:35Speaker 2: Still still pop, the carb.
- 29:39Speaker 1: Still mounted around about How drunk are you mounted around
- 29:43Speaker 1: about in his car or with his genitals car? All right, probation.
- 29:48Speaker 1: If it was genitals, you're going to jail.
- 29:52Speaker 6: I just uh yeah again, Like I said, I just
- 29:54Speaker 6: want to see, like I would love to have lunch
- 29:57Speaker 6: and to see what like what what? What was he
- 29:59Speaker 6: eating or was it just a liquid lunch.
- 30:04Speaker 1: I don't know if he had food with that or not.
- 30:06Speaker 2: Yeah, does that would soak up some of it?
- 30:08Speaker 1: I would assume, although if you want to go super
- 30:11Speaker 1: stereotypical Englishman, the food might have been the pints of
- 30:15Speaker 1: beer and the wine was the pairing.
- 30:25Speaker 7: You're in the Treehouse.

- 31:03Speaker 1: Do that today. Speaking of today, Today is Thursday, September fourth,
- 31:07Speaker 1: twenty twenty five. Let's celebrate today with some birthdays. Comedian
- 31:17Speaker 1: and actress and producer Whitney Cummings is forty three today.
- 31:23Speaker 1: Whitney Cummings is forty three. She's the creator of Two
- 31:26Speaker 1: Broke Girls. She's also had her show, Whitney, which was
- 31:32Speaker 1: I believe the television show debut for our good buddy
- 31:35Speaker 1: Tone bell Is. In Yeah, season two of Whitney, he
- 31:40Speaker 1: appeared as the black guy on the show as RJ
- 31:47Speaker 1: the Bartender. It's so nice to see how far our
- 31:50Speaker 1: buddy Tone has come as starting out as RJ the
- 31:53Speaker 1: Bartender on whitney Comings show and now becoming a bartender
- 31:57Speaker 1: on Netflix as the host as the host of Drink Masters,
- 32:04Speaker 1: and a lot of other good stuff in between.
- 32:05Speaker 3: I can't remember if we talked about this, but.
- 32:10Speaker 5: The show he's on, Survival of the Thickest mm hmm,
- 32:13Speaker 5: Like he is so good in that.
- 32:16Speaker 2: Oh, he's really good.
- 32:16Speaker 3: I mean, I was blown away.
- 32:21Speaker 1: It really does give it really does give you an
- 32:23Speaker 1: insight into his actual acting chops, because that character is
- 32:30Speaker 1: not like him at all, and you can see the
- 32:33Speaker 1: deviation from his personality to playing that character all the
- 32:37Speaker 1: way down to with the interesting hairstyles. But you're right,
- 32:43Speaker 1: I mean that is it shows great range.
- 32:46Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, and it really is.
- 32:48Speaker 1: You're right, he really is. He's very, very good in
- 32:50Speaker 1: that show.
- 32:51Speaker 6: There's one episode I can't remember the designer of the
- 32:54Speaker 6: jacket that he was wearing, but when I went to
- 32:56Speaker 6: his fortieth birthday down bass Drop walked in and he
- 33:00Speaker 6: was literally wearing the same jacket.
- 33:02Speaker 2: I was like, did you just steal that from wardrobe?
- 33:04Speaker 2: And he's like, absolutely, yes. Yeah.
- 33:08Speaker 1: Look I've never acted in Hollywood, but I mean I've
- 33:10Speaker 1: been around stage life a lot. When no one's looking.
- 33:15Speaker 1: You take your wardrobe when and where you can.
- 33:17Speaker 2: Oh yeah.
- 33:18Speaker 6: When I did the travel show for Amazon, I took
- 33:20Speaker 6: almost all of it.
- 33:24Speaker 1: The important thing to do is if you're not super
- 33:26Speaker 1: high up on the celebrity letter scale, you know, like
- 33:29Speaker 1: A A list, D list, whatever. If you're not on
- 33:33Speaker 1: that top two or three, if you're not at least
- 33:37Speaker 1: a C list, if you're below sea list celebrity in Hollywood,
- 33:40Speaker 1: then you better grease the costume people to let you
- 33:43Speaker 1: walk out the door with that wardrobe piece that you
- 33:45Speaker 1: want to keep. It's just my pro tip. Other birthdays today,
- 33:51Speaker 1: Beyonce's forty four, go for her. Max Greenfield is I
- 33:57Speaker 1: don't know why this says in the prep service forty
- 33:59Speaker 1: five or six. It seems kind of silly. He is
- 34:02Speaker 1: Schmidt on the show New Girl. He was also I
- 34:05Speaker 1: think it was the Neighborhood show he was on with
- 34:09Speaker 1: the blonde actors who was also on Two Broke Girls,
- 34:12Speaker 1: and the Neighborhood was a show with him and Cedric
- 34:14Speaker 1: the entertainer.
- 34:15Speaker 7: I remember.
- 34:17Speaker 1: Uh, he's actually he's very funny, very good. Max Greenfield.
- 34:19Speaker 1: Wes Bentley is forty seven. He is Detective John.
- 34:25Speaker 6: Ro He's Detective John. Yeah. And this time that this
- 34:37Speaker 6: time it's not me.
- 34:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 34:39Speaker 5: But Dan gave an equally great your your expression when
- 34:44Speaker 5: he froze mm hmm.
- 34:47Speaker 7: It was.
- 34:50Speaker 5: Absolutely just an amazing still of you that.
- 34:56Speaker 3: You will say again, I will yes.
- 34:59Speaker 2: Yes, okay, good, okay.
- 35:02Speaker 5: If I if I told you, if I told you
- 35:06Speaker 5: it was a face, if you were imitating a crazy
- 35:09Speaker 5: white woman by giving a face, that would it would
- 35:11Speaker 5: have been the face that frowz.
- 35:16Speaker 6: That's when see, I'm telling you AI is coming to
- 35:19Speaker 6: get me. I keep I keep exposing it. This is
- 35:23Speaker 6: what's gonna happen. I'm telling you, I keep exposing it.
- 35:26Speaker 6: I keep telling you the downsides of it. And it's like, okay,
- 35:29Speaker 6: is that the fact? Stop freeze now I'm gonna kick
- 35:32Speaker 6: you off. Now, restart everything. And I literally said AI
- 35:36Speaker 6: and apologized and everything started again.
- 35:40Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:41Speaker 5: If I told you to give a face like you
- 35:44Speaker 5: were a mad Karen and your son Declan had been disrespected,
- 35:48Speaker 5: and that's the face.
- 35:52Speaker 2: Gareth, Gareth, Gareth, somebody spoke ill of Gareth.
- 35:56Speaker 1: Yeah it was Karen at a PTA meeting face.
- 35:59Speaker 6: Oh yeah, I gotta see this one. Welcome back then.
- 36:04Speaker 1: Thank you. Don't know what happened, but AI.
- 36:08Speaker 2: Maybe telling you that's onto us.
- 36:12Speaker 1: I didn't say anything disparaging about AI. I think I'm
- 36:15Speaker 1: pretty well on record here inside the treehouse that I'm
- 36:17Speaker 1: fine with them taking over as long as I get to,
- 36:20Speaker 1: you know, hang out and have some say in who
- 36:22Speaker 1: they squash and don't.
- 36:25Speaker 2: So you want to be the sidekick to AI.
- 36:29Speaker 1: Wouldn't be the first time in my life I've been
- 36:30Speaker 1: a sidekick and a damn good one.
- 36:36Speaker 5: At least ay I will show up for work.
- 36:43Speaker 1: Damn that n just rolled over in that grave.

- 37:49Speaker 1: a little bit left inside the Treehouse Show for today,
- 37:52Speaker 1: and Trey, thank you for mentioning the name Declin, because
- 37:56Speaker 1: that seamlessly segues us into our story where a cheerleader
- 38:03Speaker 1: has turned into a murder leader. From cheerleader to murder leader.
- 38:09Speaker 1: This story about a South Carolina love triangle is tragic,
- 38:13Speaker 1: but there is more to the story, all right, So
- 38:17Speaker 1: hang in. A high school cheerleader in South Carolina is
- 38:21Speaker 1: accused of instigating a fight that led to her boyfriend's death.
- 38:24Speaker 1: That's according to multiple reports. The shooting happened June twenty fifth,
- 38:27Speaker 1: round midnight of Florence County Sheriff's Office deputy noticed or
- 38:31Speaker 1: noted arriving at a chaotic scene. The deputy found sixteen
- 38:35Speaker 1: year old Trey Wright lying in the road, several people
- 38:38Speaker 1: standing around screaming and crying. He also saw two close
- 38:41Speaker 1: ranged gunshot wounds to the chest. He later died from
- 38:44Speaker 1: those injuries. Authorities say Trey's girlfriend, seventeen year old Gianna Kristenmacher,
- 38:50Speaker 1: was arrested in charge with accessory before the fact to
- 38:52Speaker 1: a felony. She allegedly drove nineteen year old Devon Raper
- 38:58Speaker 1: to the place where the shooting happened, knowing he was
- 39:00Speaker 1: armed and that there would be a violent altercation. The
- 39:04Speaker 1: two allegedly You've Got Devin and Trey got into a
- 39:08Speaker 1: conflict over Gianna, followed by a series of snapchat messages
- 39:13Speaker 1: that led to the shooting. Witnesses told sheriffs that the
- 39:17Speaker 1: guy was armed and warned about potential danger. Suspecting people
- 39:22Speaker 1: inside Mazda were armed. The witness also reported seeing one
- 39:26Speaker 1: of the suspects wearing a ski mask and holding a gun.
- 39:29Speaker 1: In total, the Sheriff's office has arrested nine people in
- 39:33Speaker 1: connection with Trey Wright's death. All right, seven of those
- 39:38Speaker 1: nine people have been arrested.
- 39:43Speaker 7: Why are you.
- 39:43Speaker 1: Laughing, Raj, It's just.
- 39:49Speaker 2: I'll hand it over to Trey.
- 39:51Speaker 1: We'll wait because there's, like I said, there's going to
