- 0:25Speaker 1: It is time believe your worries outside and laugh with
- 0:30Speaker 1: us inside the treehouse. I'm Daniel Malley along with Trey
- 0:34Speaker 1: Trentholm and Raj Sharma. Today is Wednesday, March twenty sixth,
- 0:42Speaker 1: twenty twenty five. A man has gone. You know, there
- 0:51Speaker 1: are some sentences that I say out loud that I
- 0:53Speaker 1: had to stop and think. Really, But here we are.
- 1:01Speaker 1: A man is going to bats against his hoa literally
- 1:05Speaker 1: like actually literally, not the modern form of literally, which
- 1:10Speaker 1: is typically used incorrectly and overused as a verbal crutch. No, no,
- 1:16Speaker 1: his ahoa find him for leaving his trash cans visible.
- 1:20Speaker 1: So he came up with an awesome way to get revenge.
- 1:26Speaker 1: He erected a bathouse in his yard out of spite.
- 1:34Speaker 1: Hats off, sir, hats off to you, And like any
- 1:40Speaker 1: good citizen, he made sure to not only tell everyone
- 1:44Speaker 1: about it, but he also made a video that he
- 1:48Speaker 1: then posted to TikTok to tell even more people about it.
- 1:54Speaker 1: So now let's go to this man's yard where he
- 1:57Speaker 1: has erected a bathouse to get back. That is a
- 2:03Speaker 1: this videos for my hoa.
- 2:05Speaker 2: If you're new here, welcome, we're being petty. And if
- 2:08Speaker 2: you're not new suppy little weirdos. My favorite part about
- 2:11Speaker 2: this whole thing is the vice president of my HOA
- 2:14Speaker 2: lives right there and they just pulled into their driveway. Yep,
- 2:19Speaker 2: old white people, quick recap. My HOA recently discovered the
- 2:23Speaker 2: trash cans are ugly. Yeah, it's a trash can. Now,
- 2:26Speaker 2: with this groundbreaking discovery, they've decided to charge me fifty
- 2:29Speaker 2: dollars every time they can see my garbage cans from
- 2:32Speaker 2: the road. So welcome to part two of things I'm
- 2:34Speaker 2: doing to piss off my HOA. Now, don't get me wrong,
- 2:38Speaker 2: I like living in this neighborhood. It's very pretty, but
- 2:41Speaker 2: there's one thing that's missing in bats.
- 2:44Speaker 3: I love Halloween.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Now, they gave me options. They said I could either
- 2:47Speaker 2: put my trash can in the garage but that's my
- 2:49Speaker 2: home gym. Or I can erect a fence. You can
- 2:52Speaker 2: erect this In all fairness, did I just use it
- 2:55Speaker 2: to cover the realize stord the air conditioning unit. The
- 2:59Speaker 2: instructions got ripped in half. Get we ball per second.
- 3:05Speaker 1: It's together a bathouse in his yard hammer.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Oh wow, that's super easy. Actually, Now at this point,
- 3:20Speaker 2: some of you may be asking Scottie. Why bats a
- 3:23Speaker 2: fun fact, Bat sanctuaries are federally protected bats deserved to
- 3:27Speaker 2: live in nice places too.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Before we put this up.
- 3:30Speaker 2: In the air, we're going to be spraying it with
- 3:31Speaker 2: a bat attractive spray as you do. Would you just
- 3:36Speaker 2: look at it?
- 3:36Speaker 1: Wow, that's nice.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Free Will's crazy?
- 3:40Speaker 3: Huh serious, leaf be shred.
- 3:46Speaker 4: All right.
- 3:47Speaker 1: There's a lot to unpacked there, not the least of
- 3:49Speaker 1: which is it's a genius play to get back your
- 3:52Speaker 1: h a way by putting up a bathouse, which then
- 3:54Speaker 1: makes the area around the bathouse federally protected. Well yeah,
- 4:00Speaker 1: well done. Wow, oh, just excellent, excellent.
- 4:04Speaker 4: And it's probably even funnier that the guy is a
- 4:06Speaker 4: ginger with a big ginger mustache and he's ripped against
- 4:11Speaker 4: the fvy shred at the end, which he does splits.
- 4:15Speaker 1: He's an entertaining personality, there's no doubt Old Scotty k
- 4:20Speaker 1: fitness on TikTok. And he's not just any redhead. I mean.
- 4:23Speaker 1: And the mustache, it's not just any mustache. It's like
- 4:26Speaker 1: a Wilford Brimley mustache run amuck, like going South of
- 4:31Speaker 1: the Border mustache. Like it's one of those. This is
- 4:33Speaker 1: the second one I've seen in like three days. Not
- 4:36Speaker 1: in person, that'd be way too unbelievable. But the second
- 4:39Speaker 1: mustache I've seen like this online where the mustache is
- 4:43Speaker 1: so long it grows over both lips. Intentionally, I guess
- 4:49Speaker 1: that's a new style.
- 4:49Speaker 4: I don't know. I could literally not shave for a
- 4:51Speaker 4: year and not have that mustache.
- 4:56Speaker 3: I could do it in two days.
- 5:00Speaker 1: So here he is it really is? It is absolutely
- 5:04Speaker 1: stupid to be hassled this much by your h O way.
- 5:09Speaker 1: The trash cans are in the front of the house,
- 5:11Speaker 1: probably because from what I can tell from the age
- 5:14Speaker 1: of the home and tray. You back me up on
- 5:15Speaker 1: this because you're the expert real estate agent in the
- 5:17Speaker 1: tree house, not me. Is it looks like the front
- 5:21Speaker 1: entry style where the garage is facing the street. Therefore
- 5:24Speaker 1: there's no alley way for the trash cans and stuff,
- 5:27Speaker 1: so that makes sense for the trash cans to be
- 5:28Speaker 1: at the front of the house. Lots of people do that,
- 5:32Speaker 1: right next to the ac unit. They tell him cover
- 5:35Speaker 1: that up or we're going to find you. So he
- 5:37Speaker 1: orders a fence. It's a little plastic fence and he
- 5:39Speaker 1: puts it up around what he thinks is the actual
- 5:41Speaker 1: eyes or the AC unit. Again props to him, but
- 5:45Speaker 1: they're still finding him. So then he orders a bathouse,
- 5:48Speaker 1: which after he erects it, stands, I don't know, what
- 5:51Speaker 1: do you think fifteen to twenty feet in the sky tray?
- 5:55Speaker 4: Oh, I mean it's above his roofline, so yeah, I
- 5:57Speaker 4: would say at least twenty feet and and and it is.
- 6:07Speaker 4: Most places now have like uniform trash cans, like the
- 6:11Speaker 4: city doles them out to you, and that's what they
- 6:14Speaker 4: look like. Yeah, back in the day there, it was
- 6:17Speaker 4: understandable when Hua's would be like, don't have your trash
- 6:20Speaker 4: out front, because you know, you could have people with
- 6:22Speaker 4: steel trash cans and and and everything else. Uh but
- 6:27Speaker 4: and you know, if it's a nice neighborhood, I can
- 6:29Speaker 4: understand why. But typically at that point they would require
- 6:33Speaker 4: upon building the house to build a little enclave whatever
- 6:37Speaker 4: you want to call it, where you tuck the trash
- 6:39Speaker 4: cans in and and honestly cover up the air conditioners too.
- 6:44Speaker 4: So good on him, though, there's no there's nothing good
- 6:47Speaker 4: than just stick it to an hoa.
- 6:51Speaker 3: H Prince in Minneapolis.
- 6:54Speaker 5: Saint Paul wanted to paint because he was Prince wanted
- 6:57Speaker 5: to paint his house purple and the HOA said no,
- 7:02Speaker 5: So he bought this subdivision and moved out. Why move out,
- 7:10Speaker 5: like just because he didn't need It's Prince, I mean
- 7:13Speaker 5: his first album deal was one hundred million dollars, so
- 7:16Speaker 5: what does he care?
- 7:17Speaker 1: Well, I understand. I'm just I just see it as
- 7:19Speaker 1: if you, I mean, if you're going to be like
- 7:21Speaker 1: super rich Petty and do that buy the subdivision and
- 7:25Speaker 1: paint every house purple.
- 7:27Speaker 3: Oh that was that would be good. Yeah. See he
- 7:30Speaker 3: should have done that.
- 7:31Speaker 1: That's that. See, that was the problem that Prince said
- 7:33Speaker 1: he had too much Jesus in his heart. I have,
- 7:36Speaker 1: I have, I have very little, So I'm.
- 7:38Speaker 3: Gonna go with too much heroin. You can say, Jesus
- 7:43Speaker 3: if you want this, Jehovah is witness.
- 7:47Speaker 4: Wouldn't heroin that got him?
- 7:50Speaker 3: This fentanyl that got him? Yeah?
- 7:53Speaker 5: But yeah, I mean I just love the idea is like,
- 7:56Speaker 5: I can't pay my house purple. Nope, Okay, I'm gonna
- 7:58Speaker 5: buy the subdivision and I'm leaving.
- 8:01Speaker 4: Now create Paisley Park.
- 8:07Speaker 3: Yeah, it's it's what he did. Heat purple rained all
- 8:12Speaker 3: over that subdivision. Yes he did.

- 8:44Speaker 1: of duty. And we've been very fortunate over the years
- 8:47Speaker 1: to partner with some outstanding companies wanting to help. And
- 8:51Speaker 1: today we get to add cookdfw's name to that list
- 8:54Speaker 1: of excellent sponsors to the foundation because Daniel, you and
- 8:57Speaker 1: your wife Carrie have said, you know what, we love
- 8:59Speaker 1: our unity and we want to do something to give
- 9:01Speaker 1: back to our first responders in DFW.
- 9:04Speaker 7: Right, Dan, That's absolutely correct, and you know, truth be known,
- 9:08Speaker 7: Carrie has given to the foundation for quite so many years.
- 9:12Speaker 7: But now at a company level, I think we are
- 9:15Speaker 7: wanting to definitely you know, beef that up and start
- 9:19Speaker 7: giving back to the foundation. And it's unfortunately, this is
- 9:22Speaker 7: a foundation nobody wants to have to donate to. But
- 9:25Speaker 7: it's the real world is that these things do happen, and.
- 9:29Speaker 3: It's it's it's the type.
- 9:30Speaker 7: Of foundation that you don't want around, but you definitely
- 9:33Speaker 7: want it to be, you know, available to the families
- 9:35Speaker 7: that need it. And so over the next couple of months,
- 9:39Speaker 7: you know, a portion of all the proceeds from the
- 9:41Speaker 7: work done from Treehouse listeners that call in and let
- 9:44Speaker 7: us know that they heard about you on the show,
- 9:46Speaker 7: we're going to be donating to the RMS tree House
- 9:48Speaker 7: Listeners Foundation and making sure that we can keep that
- 9:53Speaker 7: very stable in the accounting side and and have funds
- 9:57Speaker 7: available that when the families need it, it's going to
- 9:59Speaker 7: be there. So we're very fortunate to be a part
- 10:02Speaker 7: of the organization and we look forward to try and
- 10:05Speaker 7: assist and help it as much.
- 10:07Speaker 4: As we can.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Not only a company that cares about you as a client,
- 10:10Speaker 1: but Cookdfwroofing and Restoration also cares about its first responders

- 11:22Speaker 1: Treehouse Show. I'm Daniel Madley along with Trey Trenholm and
- 11:24Speaker 1: Raj Sharma. Trey, what's the face?
- 11:29Speaker 4: I sent you a text?
- 11:35Speaker 1: This is for the Wednesday show.
- 11:38Speaker 4: Oh shit, Okay.
- 11:46Speaker 1: It's hard.
- 11:47Speaker 4: I just moved.
- 11:50Speaker 1: It's okay, It's okay. It's hard. It's hard moving. It's
- 11:54Speaker 1: also hard keeping track of days. I'm used to sometimes
- 11:58Speaker 1: when we record, uh, thinking it's a day or two
- 12:02Speaker 1: beyond the actual day that it is, so I'm always lost.
- 12:06Speaker 3: Oh.
- 12:07Speaker 4: My biggest problem is when we record and then if
- 12:09Speaker 4: we record it like ahead of time, I then go
- 12:12Speaker 4: on thinking whatever day we're recording, it's that day. Yeah.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Yeah, I do the same thing. And some days I
- 12:18Speaker 1: think it's two days because sometimes we double up.
- 12:22Speaker 4: Okay the text. Oh I just I said defender on
- 12:29Speaker 4: Tuesday and then oh gotcha.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Okay, all right, So this is the advantage of listening
- 12:35Speaker 1: to the podcast version of the show. We're gonna leave
- 12:37Speaker 1: all this at the radio. Folk in Brownwood are going
- 12:42Speaker 1: to get the cleaned up version. So here we go.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Here's the edit point. Ready three two, We're back inside
- 12:47Speaker 1: the treehouse now Daniel Malley along with Trey Trentholm and
- 12:50Speaker 1: Raj Sharma, coming off of the man going to bat
- 12:54Speaker 1: against his homeowners Association, which again truly truly epic in
- 13:00Speaker 1: his uh pettiness, and I struggle with that. I will
- 13:04Speaker 1: admit there are times that I want to be petty,
- 13:08Speaker 1: but I'm typically a high road taker. That's usually what
- 13:13Speaker 1: I do. But I have low road in my heart,
- 13:15Speaker 1: or it's at least it's at least there, so I
- 13:18Speaker 1: know if I ever truly wanted or needed to tap
- 13:21Speaker 1: into it. I could, I just don't typically do it.
- 13:23Speaker 1: So that's that's where my struggle is. I I just it's.
- 13:31Speaker 4: I try to do it.
- 13:32Speaker 3: I could do it.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Really, really well, but I don't think you really ever do.
- 13:36Speaker 4: I try to take the high road, especially, you know,
- 13:38Speaker 4: just especially like in sobriety, and try to be you know, empathy,
- 13:42Speaker 4: gratitude and just and be the bigger person, do the
- 13:44Speaker 4: right thing. But I always appreciate a good pettiness, Like
- 13:49Speaker 4: It's why I love the Super Bowl halftime show with
- 13:51Speaker 4: Kendrick Lamar. It was just it was a masterclass of pettiness.
- 13:57Speaker 3: Oh yeah, the A minor chain was the best. Yeah.
- 14:00Speaker 1: So yeah, I appreciate. I can appreciate a good petty stunt.
- 14:04Speaker 1: I really can, and it makes my heart smile. But
- 14:08Speaker 1: I'm with you, Trey, because I would imagine in your case,
- 14:11Speaker 1: in the world of sobriety, and you know, an aa,
- 14:14Speaker 1: I think the twelve steps are supposed to go up,
- 14:16Speaker 1: not down.
- 14:17Speaker 4: Yeah, But I still I mean, and you know, Dan,
- 14:26Speaker 4: for you and I working for UH and with Russ
- 14:30Speaker 4: for all those years, who who was a shining example
- 14:35Speaker 4: of pettiness that you know, you can't be around that
- 14:39Speaker 4: for that long without going somebody rubbing off.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Oh yeah, we all caught some Yeah.
- 14:47Speaker 3: Those two sentences sounded terrible.
- 14:50Speaker 1: They were meant to all right. A surprising new study says,
- 14:57Speaker 1: if you can do this in your relationship, it's stronger
- 15:01Speaker 1: than you think. You guys have any guesses. I'll say
- 15:04Speaker 1: it again. A surprising new study says, if you can
- 15:07Speaker 1: do this in your relationship, it's stronger than you think.
- 15:13Speaker 3: Walk away.
- 15:16Speaker 4: We don't know.
- 15:16Speaker 1: I don't know if that makes it stronger.
- 15:20Speaker 3: It might mean you happier.
- 15:24Speaker 4: Apologize.
- 15:25Speaker 3: Oh that's good.
- 15:27Speaker 1: That's a really good, thoughtful answer, Trey, unlike you, Raj.
- 15:33Speaker 4: No, the uh, of course, it's why why I'm single.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Fair point.
- 15:39Speaker 3: I was gonna say, punch the kid, but that doesn't work.
- 15:49Speaker 1: I know you would. Although, Trey, if if your relationships
- 15:56Speaker 1: could do this, I think you might not be single.
- 15:58Speaker 1: And I'm not saying this is your I'm saying it
- 16:01Speaker 1: might be hers. If you can do this in your relationship,
- 16:04Speaker 1: it's stronger than you think, according to a new study.
- 16:07Speaker 1: The new study suggests that sharing moments of silence with
- 16:12Speaker 1: your partner could actually be the sign of a healthy relationship.
- 16:18Speaker 1: The University of Reading or Reading researchers found that sitting
- 16:23Speaker 1: in dead quiet with a significant other could be a
- 16:25Speaker 1: sign of emotional intimacy. So there you have it. Silence
- 16:30Speaker 1: isn't only golden in the movie theaters. It's also awesome
- 16:34Speaker 1: at home. So if your relationship can stand you shutting up,
- 16:43Speaker 1: it just might be forever the relationship not shutting up forever.
- 16:49Speaker 4: I mean, it seems like that would also go to
- 16:51Speaker 4: the point that I have always felt that people who
- 16:54Speaker 4: can't shut up are insecure, because especially so many people are,
- 17:00Speaker 4: they're insecure with silence because it makes them feel awkward.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Yeah, I've had that exact problem in a relationship in
- 17:07Speaker 1: the past. If like, if if more than five minutes
- 17:10Speaker 1: went by without something being said, then she would say,
- 17:14Speaker 1: what's wrong? Is there something wrong? We haven't we haven't spoken,
- 17:16Speaker 1: and blah blah blah. It's like I'm just watching TV
- 17:19Speaker 1: or I'm no, I'm just I'm just sitting here, I'm
- 17:23Speaker 1: just doing a No. Sometimes you know, we don't have
- 17:27Speaker 1: to talk all the time. And keep in mind that's
- 17:30Speaker 1: coming for me. I talk almost all the time. I
- 17:33Speaker 1: talk for a living.
- 17:34Speaker 4: I'm OK.
- 17:34Speaker 3: Yeah, I would get what are you thinking? Nothing?
- 17:39Speaker 5: I'm we're watching forensic files, like, I'm not thinking anything,
- 17:43Speaker 5: so what's wrong?
- 17:44Speaker 3: Nothing? I just like to be quiet.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Although if you ask me what I'm thinking one more time,
- 17:49Speaker 1: I'm going to start thinking about murdering you because we're
- 17:55Speaker 1: watching forensic files and it's the top of mind. It's
- 17:59Speaker 1: hard to get sex Andal Coald, but I am a
- 18:04Speaker 1: firm believer. When I saw this, I thought immediately of you, Trey,
- 18:08Speaker 1: and thought, yep, you know what I've I would venture
- 18:12Speaker 1: to say that if some of Trey's relationships could have
- 18:14Speaker 1: done that, they might still be together, or they would
- 18:20Speaker 1: have broken up for a vastly different reason.
- 18:23Speaker 5: But Tray seems like a quiet guy like I wouldn't
- 18:25Speaker 5: expect him to be like over exuberant just tatterbox.
- 18:32Speaker 4: I mean, if some of them have been able to
- 18:35Speaker 4: shut the yeah, probably would still be together.
- 18:43Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe that's all your relationships have missed. Is just
- 18:47Speaker 1: a button that would actually shut her up?
- 18:50Speaker 3: There is one.
- 18:53Speaker 4: Yeah, law enforcement frowns on shot collars.

- 20:41Speaker 1: here inside the show. Not from a super technological standpoint,
- 20:46Speaker 1: because I'm not even sure if I said that word properly,
- 20:49Speaker 1: Not from a big techie point of view, because none
- 20:51Speaker 1: of us are that smart, but more of a whether
- 20:57Speaker 1: or not it's going to destroy us all type of thing,
- 21:00Speaker 1: And I think that's fair, especially when you see stories
- 21:04Speaker 1: like this one where a Chinese robot has showed off
- 21:08Speaker 1: its new skills from a Chinese company, a new robot
- 21:11Speaker 1: that they're showing its new skills off, and I can't
- 21:14Speaker 1: even talk rights. Maybe artificial intelligency to take me over.
- 21:17Speaker 1: It's gone from dancing to ask kicking. A Chinese company's
- 21:21Speaker 1: robot is causing all sorts of eyes to bulge out
- 21:26Speaker 1: of their heads based on its new capabilities. While keeping
- 21:30Speaker 1: in mind that when they show off these types of things,
- 21:35Speaker 1: it's mainly to get attention, but then to try to
- 21:38Speaker 1: shine a light on the real goal, which is to
- 21:41Speaker 1: show its overall capabilities, not just the violent ones that
- 21:44Speaker 1: they're teaching it. But we have a tendency to stay
- 21:49Speaker 1: on the surface and focus on the violent tendencies that
- 21:51Speaker 1: they're showing the robots, which you know I think has us,
- 21:55Speaker 1: rightfully just a little bit worried. So I'm going to
- 21:58Speaker 1: show this to you now. This is the Unitry g
- 22:02Speaker 1: one robot that initially started out learning dance moves and
- 22:08Speaker 1: now it's learning tiger style kung fu.
- 22:11Speaker 10: Un Tree's latest g one humanoid robot is throwing and
- 22:15Speaker 10: landing roundhouse kicks with incredible balance and precision. This compact
- 22:20Speaker 10: fighting machine from China is demonstrating a mazing.
- 22:24Speaker 1: I mean, you're you're showing this thing as it's doing
- 22:29Speaker 1: like martial arts forms, and it looks very realistic. It's
- 22:33Speaker 1: just you know, it's a it's a robot that's doing
- 22:35Speaker 1: it right, and.
- 22:37Speaker 3: I mean it it looks very realistic.
- 22:42Speaker 1: It's because it is no this one. I'm saying, like,
- 22:45Speaker 1: I'm sure it feels the same, oh like if it
- 22:49Speaker 1: actually were to kick you. Yeah, luckily right now, the
- 22:52Speaker 1: way that this video looks, it looks on the slow side,
- 22:56Speaker 1: which makes me hope that this is on the fast
- 23:00Speaker 1: because if they can increase the speed on this, we're
- 23:02Speaker 1: all going to be screwed.
- 23:04Speaker 10: The go Like, okay, we're screwed, but hey. The company
- 23:07Speaker 10: recently upgraded g one's algorithm, allowing it to master virtually
- 23:11Speaker 10: any movement, allegedly for good.
- 23:14Speaker 1: So it showed a quick glimpse there of a person
- 23:18Speaker 1: holding a weapon and then the robot doing a perfect
- 23:21Speaker 1: spin kick to kick it out of his hand. Again,
- 23:25Speaker 1: if they could, if they can increase that speed setting,
- 23:29Speaker 1: that could be really really frightening.
- 23:32Speaker 4: And so you look at that technology and then you
- 23:34Speaker 4: still go back the old ways will still prevail.
- 23:39Speaker 5: Sweep the leg, Johnny sweep the leg. I think he
- 23:46Speaker 5: swept his arm. So I don't know how that's gonna be.
- 23:53Speaker 1: Wax on.
- 23:54Speaker 3: I just don't want to get beat up by a
- 23:55Speaker 3: robot like that. That's what I call it. A day
- 23:59Speaker 3: like that when I'm like, yo, what I'm going to
- 24:01Speaker 3: bed forever?
- 24:02Speaker 1: Like well, I mean, look, there there are worse things
- 24:05Speaker 1: to be beaten up by, you know, like being beaten
- 24:09Speaker 1: up by a child. That would be worse than an
- 24:11Speaker 1: adult sized humanoid robot being you know, beaten up by
- 24:15Speaker 1: a little person would be you know, a tough pill
- 24:18Speaker 1: for many of.
- 24:18Speaker 3: Us to swallow. At that point, you're helping.
- 24:25Speaker 1: But again, they they show these types of capabilities on
- 24:29Speaker 1: these robots, like dancing and kung fu to get our
- 24:32Speaker 1: attention and shine a light on the actual capabilities that
- 24:35Speaker 1: they have, because they're like, look, if it can do
- 24:38Speaker 1: this perfect spin kick, then it can mow your law
- 24:41Speaker 1: and it can fold your clothing, which I'm all for.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Please show me those videos. Show me the videos of
- 24:47Speaker 1: it of it folding my clothing without wrinkles, and I'm
- 24:52Speaker 1: good to go. But the company that makes this from China,
- 24:56Speaker 1: Unitrey stated the humanoid robot is a versatile machine and
- 25:00Speaker 1: is capable of handling everyday complex tasks across settings, homes, factories,
- 25:06Speaker 1: even hospitals. You know, just in case dialysis patient needs
- 25:10Speaker 1: a good roundhousing.
- 25:14Speaker 4: When it can fold the fitted sheet, there it is.
- 25:20Speaker 4: That's when we're done for.
- 25:23Speaker 1: That's that's that's how we know.
- 25:26Speaker 4: Now you know it's all over.
- 25:28Speaker 1: That's where we all just unplug everything and go live
- 25:30Speaker 1: in the woods.
- 25:40Speaker 3: You're in the Treehouse.

- 26:36Speaker 1: This is the Treehouse Show. I'm Daniel Malley along with
- 26:38Speaker 1: Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharma oh Man. Do you guys
- 26:47Speaker 1: typically get a good night's sleep?
- 26:52Speaker 5: Yes, not for very many hours, like I'll probably like
- 26:58Speaker 5: five or six.
- 26:59Speaker 1: But yeah, would you consider that, Raj, to be a
- 27:02Speaker 1: good night's sleep.
- 27:04Speaker 3: For me? Yeah? I used to.
- 27:05Speaker 5: I mean in college it was like three to four
- 27:09Speaker 5: just studying and and other, you know other stuff. But yeah,
- 27:13Speaker 5: five six.
- 27:14Speaker 12: Is good studying at Texas State, I'm still I'm still
- 27:20Speaker 12: pre med, so I still to study.
- 27:25Speaker 5: Now.
- 27:25Speaker 1: I know, I know, I know which game of Doctor
- 27:27Speaker 1: you were playing at Texas State.
- 27:30Speaker 3: It was fun.
- 27:33Speaker 1: I have a go.
- 27:37Speaker 3: I did.
- 27:40Speaker 4: And a tongue depressor.
- 27:45Speaker 1: Try. What about you? Do you typically get a good
- 27:47Speaker 1: night sleep?
- 27:52Speaker 4: Yeah, for the most part.
- 27:54Speaker 1: So what I'm hearing is even I'm sorry I've completely
- 27:58Speaker 1: stepped down and state again.
- 27:59Speaker 4: Trey, I said, I take something to aid in sleep.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Okay, but I think I mean, I do the same.
- 28:06Speaker 1: I take my melotone. We have our night time regimen
- 28:08Speaker 1: of our night pills, even though we're not super old,
- 28:11Speaker 1: but we have our night pills. We got the vitamin D,
- 28:15Speaker 1: we've got the melotonin. Shut up, I gotta stop talking
- 28:22Speaker 1: to you. Guys all together, and allergy and like a
- 28:28Speaker 1: generic zertech supposed to help you sleep as well. So
- 28:32Speaker 1: that's our night time pill regimen and usually works on
- 28:34Speaker 1: getting us to sleep pretty good.
- 28:35Speaker 4: Sisol. Really, if you have an allergy pill that'll help
- 28:38Speaker 4: you sleep sisol, we'll knock you the f out.
- 28:42Speaker 1: See, we're not doing it to knock us out, knock
- 28:45Speaker 1: us out. Just just kind of a nice easy thing.
- 28:47Speaker 4: Well, okay it once it won't like ben a drill
- 28:51Speaker 4: some people were just it knocks you out, but it
- 28:53Speaker 4: will you. You will follows. It will help you.
- 28:57Speaker 3: Sleep, gotcha.
- 28:58Speaker 1: Well, we might just have this secret to a good
- 29:01Speaker 1: night's sleep. Wear socks to bed. Seriously, I do really,
- 29:16Speaker 1: neither of you were sleeping with me, so we're okay,
- 29:20Speaker 1: all right, fair, According to the director of the Sleep
- 29:24Speaker 1: Disorder Center at the Cleveland Clinic, she says it sounds counterintuitive.
- 29:29Speaker 1: I know, but by wearing socks to bed and warming
- 29:32Speaker 1: your feet, you may actually lower your core body temperature
- 29:36Speaker 1: and fall asleep faster. She continued by saying, by making
- 29:40Speaker 1: your feet warmer, you're opening up blood vessels to help
- 29:44Speaker 1: cool down the rest of the body. So increasing the
- 29:47Speaker 1: blood circulation to your feet results in lower core temperature.
- 29:52Speaker 1: Uh And in a study that they did, it actually
- 29:54Speaker 1: helped the people in the study get to sleep on
- 29:57Speaker 1: average eight minutes faster and with fewer awakenings in the night.
- 30:04Speaker 4: Here's what I would like to know for these people,
- 30:09Speaker 4: what do they set the thermostat at at night.
- 30:14Speaker 1: For their coffort. I'm glad you ask, because in addition
- 30:17Speaker 1: to wearing socks, the sleep expert from Cleveland Clinic also
- 30:20Speaker 1: says it's not just socks. They suggest keeping the entire
- 30:24Speaker 1: bedroom about sixty five degrees fahrenheit to keep your core
- 30:28Speaker 1: temperature cool during the night. Okay, And they also say
- 30:32Speaker 1: another tip is you can take a warm, not hot,
- 30:36Speaker 1: but a warm shower or bath before bed. The principal
- 30:40Speaker 1: being the same, it'll the warm temperatures will decrease your
- 30:44Speaker 1: core body temperature, making it cool and then potentially falling
- 30:49Speaker 1: asleep faster. So there you go.
- 30:51Speaker 4: Now, I will say this that I totally agree that
- 30:54Speaker 4: taking it nights where it spent like a lot of
- 30:57Speaker 4: times I come home from work, I'll take a shower.
- 31:00Speaker 4: Nights I do that, I will typically sleep better. So
- 31:03Speaker 4: that that I can I can see that. And the
- 31:05Speaker 4: fact they're saying put your thrvice at at sixty five
- 31:08Speaker 4: and wear socks. Okay, that that I can. I can
- 31:12Speaker 4: see that if they said put it at seventy four
- 31:14Speaker 4: and wear socks.
- 31:15Speaker 1: Fu, Yeah, pretty much. I just so everything they said
- 31:19Speaker 1: I'm kind of on board with. Because the colder.
- 31:24Speaker 4: I saw your face. That's right, you're you're a seventy
- 31:26Speaker 4: four in socks, aren't.
- 31:27Speaker 3: You seventy three in socks?
- 31:30Speaker 1: Oh?
- 31:32Speaker 2: Do that?
- 31:34Speaker 3: Oh I'm warning a hoodie because I had to turn
- 31:38Speaker 3: the AC off because it was at seventy three and
- 31:40Speaker 3: it's chili.
- 31:42Speaker 1: See Okay. That sometimes just depends on the power of
- 31:45Speaker 1: the a seed. One person seventy three in their house
- 31:48Speaker 1: might be another person sixty eight in there, so that's
- 31:51Speaker 1: kind of a relative number.
- 31:53Speaker 3: Oh it's seventy three, Like I can tell, I know
- 31:58Speaker 3: the temperature, like it's.
- 32:01Speaker 5: For you guys, it would be warm but for me,
- 32:04Speaker 5: I was like, oh, this little tally gotta put a
- 32:06Speaker 5: hoodie on. Yeah, no, we need seventy nine degrees outside
- 32:09Speaker 5: now we want.
- 32:10Speaker 1: We want it cool at night so we can put
- 32:11Speaker 1: the covers up and go to sleep. I actually tried
- 32:14Speaker 1: years ago, uh to do socks in bed because someone
- 32:17Speaker 1: had said I had heard, Hey, it's supposed to be
- 32:19Speaker 1: you know, sleep better. So I tried the socks and
- 32:21Speaker 1: bend and it didn't work because all that would happened
- 32:23Speaker 1: is all the the bed, the sheets and stuff would
- 32:27Speaker 1: just get tangled up in in my sock wearing feet.
- 32:30Speaker 1: And that woke me up because it frustrated me.
- 32:35Speaker 4: You need you need footy footy jammies, a onesie.
- 32:42Speaker 1: Uh you know what, I'm going to lean into that
- 32:47Speaker 1: for a moment. I bet if we followed the sleep
- 32:49Speaker 1: disorder expert from Cleveland Clinic, I wear the socks or
- 32:53Speaker 1: as you're suggesting, the whole onesie, lowered the room temperature
- 32:58Speaker 1: to sixty five and take a warm beforehand. And if
- 33:02Speaker 1: we're just gonna go into all of it, I might
- 33:04Speaker 1: as well put on a little bob ross as well,
- 33:08Speaker 1: so that way I can be perfectly lulled into a
- 33:10Speaker 1: peaceful night's sleep.
- 33:14Speaker 4: I mean probably, and for TERA's easy to make it
- 33:17Speaker 4: like asless chaps and just cut out the back end.
- 33:21Speaker 1: Like the old time. You like like the Wild West pajamas.
- 33:25Speaker 1: You got the butt flap. That's not just for going
- 33:28Speaker 1: to the bathroom, is it?

- 34:21Speaker 1: I'm Daniel Malley along with Trade, Trentle and Raj Sharma.
- 34:25Speaker 4: Uh.
- 34:25Speaker 1: Try, you look like you're moving a little bit slower
- 34:27Speaker 1: than normal. How how'd your move go?
- 34:31Speaker 4: It went fairly well? Yeah, I am physically my body
- 34:39Speaker 4: just hurts. It's moving by yourself is just it's it
- 34:45Speaker 4: is a physical, arduous task. And I mean I I
- 34:49Speaker 4: shouldn't say that packing everything up. I had movers, Uh,
- 34:54Speaker 4: they were great, but it just it took. It took
- 35:02Speaker 4: a toll on me.
- 35:03Speaker 1: It's a beating. It's a beating no matter what.
- 35:07Speaker 4: But and like coffee table broke, when the mover's fault,
- 35:13Speaker 4: it had broken before I had fixed it, I was
- 35:15Speaker 4: iffy on getting rid of it or not. So it
- 35:17Speaker 4: just kind of took that as a sign from God
- 35:20Speaker 4: let it go.
- 35:21Speaker 1: Clearly God had time on his hands. He's like, you
- 35:24Speaker 1: know what I'm gonna do today?
- 35:26Speaker 4: Sign from God? Whatever the star. Anyways, it wasn't meant
- 35:29Speaker 4: to be.
- 35:30Speaker 1: Yeah, God woke up. God woke up that morning and thought,
- 35:33Speaker 1: you know what, I could cure cancer. But you know what,
- 35:35Speaker 1: I'm gonna cut tray instead, and not just trey. I'm
- 35:39Speaker 1: gonna hup his coffee table. You know why, because I
- 35:41Speaker 1: can't because I'm God again. I could cure cancer, I
- 35:44Speaker 1: could uh you know, make all death and disease gone forever.
- 35:49Speaker 1: But instead I'm just gonna hey, coffee table.
- 35:55Speaker 4: Listen. I believe that there's a He's in a rhyme
- 36:00Speaker 4: and reason for everything.
- 36:01Speaker 1: So there's a God, and he's against you.
- 36:05Speaker 3: What you have a coffee table.
- 36:10Speaker 1: It's you and job man right there.
- 36:15Speaker 3: Pill little assault and the sores coffee table. You know,
- 36:19Speaker 3: same thing.
- 36:20Speaker 1: I am with you, though I all kidding aside, I
- 36:23Speaker 1: do agree that the mover's breaking a really old item.
- 36:26Speaker 1: It probably did you know it did you a favor?
- 36:29Speaker 4: Like I said, I was torn on whether to take
- 36:31Speaker 4: it or not. Yeah, pardon my faith, but no, I
- 36:36Speaker 4: just I just took it as it wasn't meant to be.
- 36:39Speaker 4: How about that, look at it this way, look at
- 36:42Speaker 4: it this way. Maybe maybe it was an opportunity God
- 36:44Speaker 4: did say. You know what, Okay, Trey, I'm gonna your
- 36:46Speaker 4: coffee table. But the reason why is because I know
- 36:50Speaker 4: you want to come to heaven on Earth, which is
- 36:53Speaker 4: Nebraska Furniture Mart. So you get to go back to
- 36:56Speaker 4: the colony and go back to Nebraska Furniture Mark and
- 36:59Speaker 4: go shopping and get you a new coffee table.
- 37:01Speaker 1: You're welcome.
- 37:02Speaker 4: Yeah, but I will say this, Twin brothers moving fantastic
- 37:05Speaker 4: if you need them. They were spot on great guys
- 37:11Speaker 4: and they kicked ass well, very good.
- 37:14Speaker 1: So let's celebrate the ass kickery.
- 37:18Speaker 4: And I can run and I can run speed tests
- 37:20Speaker 4: and it's like porn.
- 37:25Speaker 1: So that means you can finish quicker.
- 37:29Speaker 4: My internet. I've that was one of the great things
- 37:33Speaker 4: is they said, just take your mode and plug it in.
- 37:35Speaker 4: Everything will kick it on, and man it did, and
- 37:37Speaker 4: my speeds are unbelievable.
- 37:39Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 37:40Speaker 1: So it turns out it's not six fifty down five
- 37:43Speaker 1: point fifty up. So it's not just the videos that
- 37:45Speaker 1: are screaming.
- 37:48Speaker 4: All of it.
- 37:49Speaker 1: Well, lots of celebrate did for you. You're celebrating. God's
- 37:52Speaker 1: on your side. You're gonna get a new coffee table,
- 37:56Speaker 1: kick ass internet speeds. Let's celebrate with some birth Today

- 38:04Speaker 1: We have got wait wait, wait, wrong window there. It is.
- 38:08Speaker 1: Bad Baby is an aspiring rapper and she is twenty
- 38:10Speaker 1: two today. If you don't know her by her rap
- 38:13Speaker 1: name Bad Baby, you might remember at you right, remember
- 38:16Speaker 1: her as to catch me outside? How about that girl
- 38:19Speaker 1: on Doctor Phil?
- 38:21Speaker 4: Is that is it bad Baby or Bad Bobby had Baby?
- 38:25Speaker 1: What I'm looking at is bad Baby? Oh that bad part?
- 38:28Speaker 3: Okay?
- 38:29Speaker 4: Yeah, she's made like she cleared forty five million or
- 38:32Speaker 4: something on OnlyFans.
- 38:34Speaker 3: Wow, she cleared eighty last year.
- 38:37Speaker 1: Jesus m.
- 38:42Speaker 3: Yeah, I believe it was eighty million dollars. This is
- 38:44Speaker 3: what she cleared.
- 38:45Speaker 1: What you're saying is she has coffee table problems.
- 38:50Speaker 3: No, she has beating up her mom problems.
- 38:53Speaker 5: That was a video of her whooping her mom's ass,
- 38:58Speaker 5: which was I mean, I I don't know what the
- 39:00Speaker 5: situation was. It's on their security footage in her house.
- 39:04Speaker 5: But she did a beat up her mom.
- 39:07Speaker 1: Is that what she does on her subscriber channel? She
- 39:09Speaker 1: just like beats up family members?
- 39:12Speaker 4: Sure, that's what she gets A million five a month
- 39:15Speaker 4: off our only fans account.
- 39:19Speaker 1: Good lord, I don't want to think about it anymore.
- 39:22Speaker 1: Actress Karen Knightley is forty. Is forty today. Kiera Knightley
- 39:26Speaker 1: from Pirates of the Caribbean is forty. Before that, she
- 39:28Speaker 1: was in Bendett like Beckham, she was also in Pride
- 39:31Speaker 1: and Prejudice and Love. Actually, Kiera Knightley turns forty today.
- 39:36Speaker 1: Jonathan Groff is also forty. He plays King George in Hamilton.
- 39:40Speaker 1: He's also Christoph the mountain Man in Frozen. He was
- 39:43Speaker 1: Jesse on Glee, also on HBO's Looking and an FBI
- 39:47Speaker 1: agent in the Netflix series mind Hunter. Jonathan Groff turns
- 39:50Speaker 1: forty Amy Smart turns forty nine. We just mentioned one
- 39:54Speaker 1: of her big roles the other day in Just Friends,
- 39:58Speaker 1: the Christmas classic. According to some with Ryan Reynolds, the
- 40:01Speaker 1: only reasoning to say, according to some someone on our
- 40:04Speaker 1: patreons like that is a Christmas movie, Dan, Yes it is.
- 40:06Speaker 1: It's just one that's not in most people's Christmas movie
- 40:10Speaker 1: rotation as far as like, ah, that's the Christmas movie
- 40:13Speaker 1: I have to watch, or maybe the better way to
- 40:17Speaker 1: look at it is, it's not Christmas until I watch
- 40:19Speaker 1: this particular Christmas movie. That's how I feel about Christmas vacation,
- 40:24Speaker 1: Christmas story a little bit. The Ref. There's a couple others,
- 40:26Speaker 1: diehard Just Friends, Is I need to rewatch that? Maybe
- 40:30Speaker 1: that's one that I need to include in my Holiday
- 40:32Speaker 1: movie rotation.
- 40:33Speaker 4: The Ref is a Christmas movie.
- 40:35Speaker 1: Oh yes, a good, great one. I will I will
- 40:39Speaker 1: donkey punch anybody that says otherwise.
- 40:43Speaker 3: I'm sure.
- 40:46Speaker 1: Roger. Have you ever seen The Ref with Dennis Farry? Yeah,
- 40:50Speaker 1: if you have not, it's such a beautiful, beautiful film.
- 40:53Speaker 1: It's one of those that, like, let's say, hypothetically, the
- 40:58Speaker 1: whole Kevin Spacey thing. He's in it, Kevin Spacey's in it.
- 41:01Speaker 1: Let's say the whole Kevin Spacey thing came out and
- 41:03Speaker 1: he was absolutely a horrible, horrible, terrible, bad, no good monster.
- 41:07Speaker 1: I would still watch that movie and enjoy it and
- 41:09Speaker 1: appreciate it because some some pieces of art are so
- 41:15Speaker 1: good you can't or you just have to look past
- 41:19Speaker 1: the artist, if that makes sense, right. Yeah, that would
- 41:22Speaker 1: be one of those. That would be one of those examples.
- 41:24Speaker 5: And one of the best lines I've ever heard is
- 41:27Speaker 5: what this family needs is the mute because they wouldn't
- 41:31Speaker 5: stop talking.
- 41:35Speaker 1: One of the best lines in that movie is when
- 41:36Speaker 1: he tells his mom, the next time you feel unappreciated,
- 41:41Speaker 1: why don't you climb up on the cross and and
- 41:43Speaker 1: nail yourself to it.
- 41:45Speaker 4: Oh my, it's when the wife's just chattering just way
- 41:50Speaker 4: he looks at her goes, what are we girlfriends?
- 41:55Speaker 1: Well, I know what I'm doing tonight.

- 42:43Speaker 1: Inside the Treehouse, I'm Daniel Malling along with Trey Trenholm
- 42:46Speaker 1: and Raj Sharma. Big news out of Italy. The Vatican
- 42:52Speaker 1: has unveiled a lost Renaissance painting of Jesus.
- 43:00Speaker 4: Deep.
- 43:00Speaker 1: Pretty impressive on the part of the Vatican.
- 43:03Speaker 4: The broke, the broke Vatican.
- 43:06Speaker 3: M yeah, the defunct Vatican.
- 43:09Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I might have to agree with you, Trey. This,
- 43:12Speaker 1: this absolutely has to be proof that the Vatican's broke acus. Look,
- 43:16Speaker 1: once you start pulling things out of the basement to
- 43:18Speaker 1: sell things are bad.
- 43:22Speaker 3: I would go to the Vatican or Facebook marketplace, either
- 43:28Speaker 3: one I'd go.
- 43:31Speaker 1: The downside though, is if if if, if you don't
- 43:35Speaker 1: trust the seller. I thought you were on a breathing
- 43:42Speaker 1: machine last week. I don't think this is you. But
- 43:48Speaker 1: a painting of Christ being laid in the tomb, long
- 43:51Speaker 1: hidden under layers of over painting and forgotten by history,
- 43:55Speaker 1: will once again be visible. To the public in an
- 43:57Speaker 1: upcoming exhibit at the Vatican. The Vatican mused SAMs announced
- 44:01Speaker 1: on March seventeenth, showcasing a newly restored painting of the
- 44:04Speaker 1: deposition of Christ. Oh I guess I mean like the
- 44:08Speaker 1: depositing of him, not a legal deposition, because I'd be weird.
- 44:11Speaker 1: It's now definitively attributed to Renaissance master Andrea Mountage in
- 44:16Speaker 1: a special exhibit titled the Mountaine of Pompeii. A rediscovered masterpiece,
- 44:21Speaker 1: it had long been shrouded in mystery. Historical records from
- 44:23Speaker 1: the sixteenth century referenced such a work in the Basilica
- 44:27Speaker 1: of San Dominico and Majora in Naples, but over time
- 44:30Speaker 1: it vanished from public knowledge, raising doubts about its existence
- 44:34Speaker 1: and authorship. Centuries later, here it is pulled out of
- 44:39Speaker 1: the depths of the Vatican.
- 44:42Speaker 4: I'm sure the Pope was down there doing some spring cleaning.
- 44:45Speaker 3: And oh, how do you know, punch of the rerand
- 44:52Speaker 3: and out of the way.
- 44:53Speaker 4: Oh there's that.
- 44:55Speaker 1: Oh, I can efidally go.
- 44:56Speaker 12: On the.
- 45:00Speaker 4: Show, paying the power bill to keep me plugged in.
- 45:13Speaker 1: I'm going to leave another day. There's something just super
- 45:21Speaker 1: special and super stupid using a bad Italian accent for
- 45:27Speaker 1: the pope, especially when the pope isn't from anywhere near Italy.
- 45:30Speaker 4: Doesn't say I think, I think.
- 45:33Speaker 1: Isn't this one like from South America? I don't know.
- 45:38Speaker 1: Thanks for hanging out with us inside the Treehouse. See
