- 0:14Speaker 2: How are you?
- 0:15Speaker 3: Let me check?
- 0:16Speaker 1: Not bad, not bad.
- 0:18Speaker 2: But listen, I just want to tell you when I was, oh,
- 0:22Speaker 2: in my teens, back in the late forties or early fifties. Yeah,
- 0:28Speaker 2: I'm ninety two right now.
- 0:29Speaker 1: Ninety two perfect, right, our target demo. There you go. Perfect.
- 0:34Speaker 2: But anyway, this explain all the go ahead.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Now you sound like a nice.
- 0:42Speaker 2: Woman out lot. The pastor of our church of Catholic Church,
- 0:47Speaker 2: how us come to a meeting where this former FBI,
- 0:52Speaker 2: well he was an FBI agent, but he is in
- 0:54Speaker 2: a former mole in the Communist Party.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Uh huh.
- 0:58Speaker 2: And he told this that this is going to happen,
- 1:02Speaker 2: that the Communists they're taking their time, but eventually they're
- 1:07Speaker 2: going to get into the newspapers, the schools, the churches.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Well, what kind of crazy what kind of crazy church
- 1:15Speaker 1: are you'll go into? This was the same speech they
- 1:17Speaker 1: made in the nineteen fifties. This is what McCarthy used
- 1:20Speaker 1: to say.
- 1:22Speaker 2: Well, this this SDI agent was a former mold in
- 1:27Speaker 2: the communist body, and he said, well, what's going to
- 1:30Speaker 2: happen eventually to our country?
- 1:31Speaker 1: Alice, I don't want you to worry. You've been around
- 1:34Speaker 1: a while. They were saying this all through the nineteen fifties, sixties, seventies, eighties, ninth.
- 1:38Speaker 1: So far we're okay, No, we're hey, bough's these communists.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Watch these communists try to get the spring. Like once
- 1:46Speaker 1: they see this traffic, they'll turn around and give up.
- 1:48Speaker 1: They'll go somewhere else. Well, Alice, you're a nice woman.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Call us again, call us again. Sometime. Let's go to
- 1:54Speaker 1: Mike and Florida. Mike, how you doing?
- 1:57Speaker 3: Good morning?
- 1:58Speaker 1: Walk Yes, Mike, you know No.
- 2:00Speaker 4: The part of the equation they leave out when they're
- 2:02Speaker 4: talking about the billionaires not paying their fair share, is
- 2:04Speaker 4: they just talk about their personal income tax. This corporate
- 2:07Speaker 4: income tax. There is the corporate com tax of all
- 2:10Speaker 4: the other corporations that they employ. There's billion. I mean
- 2:14Speaker 4: it's trillions. Good, it amounts to and one on point.
- 2:18Speaker 4: The other thing that Mandani has a lot of nerve
- 2:20Speaker 4: is he makes two hundred and sixty thousand a year.
- 2:22Speaker 4: He doesn't pay rent, you know who. He's making more
- 2:24Speaker 4: money than everybody just about.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Is how much of them? Is that? How much the
- 2:29Speaker 1: mayor makes two hundred and sixty Yeah.
- 2:31Speaker 4: And he doesn't pay rent, he doesn't have to pay
- 2:33Speaker 4: for transportation. I'm sure you know groceries are probably on
- 2:37Speaker 4: the house.
- 2:38Speaker 1: You know, that's true. Yeah, they feed you for free. Yeah,
- 2:41Speaker 1: that's true. Yeah, a good point. All right, thanks for Carlin.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Let's go to Tony in White Plains. Tony, how you doing?
- 2:49Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 2:49Speaker 5: Good Mark, Mark, Maybe you can answer this. I don't
- 2:51Speaker 5: understand something Trump says.
- 2:53Speaker 3: I if the.
- 2:54Speaker 5: Uranians don't agree, you know, to the treaty and all
- 2:57Speaker 5: of that, that he's gonna walk the bridges and all that.
- 3:00Speaker 5: Didn't they do that before? What's gonna happen? They put
- 3:02Speaker 5: their people around here.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Well, we took out one bridge. It was the newest,
- 3:06Speaker 1: most expensive bridge they had. And the reason we took
- 3:09Speaker 1: that out it was only being used for military purpose
- 3:12Speaker 1: is it was being used to transport troops and weapons.
- 3:15Speaker 1: But if we have to, we'll start taking out bridges.
- 3:17Speaker 1: And by the way, you're gonna hear war crimes. They're
- 3:19Speaker 1: gonna yell war crimes. Every war we've ever fought, we
- 3:24Speaker 1: took out bridges and power plants usually day one both
- 3:27Speaker 1: Iraq wars. That's what we did the first day, took
- 3:29Speaker 1: out bridges and power plants. You know that crazy Senator
- 3:32Speaker 1: Mark Kelly who's on TV yelling about war crimes. He
- 3:36Speaker 1: also brags that he was a combat pilot and in
- 3:40Speaker 1: the war in Iraq. Well, that's what he did as
- 3:42Speaker 1: a combat pilot, took out bridges and power plants. But
- 3:45Speaker 1: it's perfectly perfectly normal. Let's go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent,
- 3:49Speaker 1: how you doing.
- 3:50Speaker 3: Good morning, Mark, Good morning Mike flu Florida. Forgot to
- 3:54Speaker 3: mention that these billionaires who own these companies, they employ
- 3:59Speaker 3: hundreds of thousands of workers who also contribute to the
- 4:03Speaker 3: tax base. If these billionaires didn't start these businesses, you
- 4:08Speaker 3: wouldn't have these workers, their lives wouldn't be improven, and
- 4:11Speaker 3: they wouldn't add to the tax base. Beaver Face Mandami
- 4:15Speaker 3: and Katty Holcom are so disingenuous. They make it sound
- 4:21Speaker 3: like these people who have these second homes are feeding
- 4:26Speaker 3: at the public truth like they are. The New York
- 4:29Speaker 3: posted an expose a they didn't give the address of.
- 4:33Speaker 3: It's probably a co op, a second home in the
- 4:37Speaker 3: village that was worked just five million dollars. That's it
- 4:42Speaker 3: sucsessed value. They went into the Department of Finance records
- 4:47Speaker 3: that person who owns that co op, it's not even
- 4:50Speaker 3: a whole building, pays eighty four thousand dollars a year
- 4:56Speaker 3: in taxes. And when most people don't know, and I
- 5:00Speaker 3: know this because I'm involved in real estate, if it's
- 5:04Speaker 3: your second home, you don't get any considerations like if
- 5:09Speaker 3: it's your primary, your primary home, you don't pay as
- 5:13Speaker 3: much in school taxes, et cetera, et cetera. No, it's
- 5:17Speaker 3: all talks about them using up resources. The second home
- 5:22Speaker 3: uses less resources. Of course they're not there. They're not
- 5:26Speaker 3: paying water. They don't have to pay water because they're
- 5:29Speaker 3: not using it.
- 5:30Speaker 1: They have to pay point vincent. Excellent call, very good,
- 5:34Speaker 1: thanks for calling. Yeah, Ken Griffin doesn't even live in
- 5:37Speaker 1: that house over there, that apartment two hundred and twenty
- 5:39Speaker 1: million dollars. He's here three days a year. And you
- 5:42Speaker 1: know what is property taxes in the department right now,
- 5:45Speaker 1: nine hundred and seventy thousand. It's almost a million dollars
- 5:48Speaker 1: a year just in property tax on that one apartment. Hey,
- 5:51Speaker 1: when we come back, Charlie Gasparino will be with us,
- 5:53Speaker 1: the great business reporter, the author of the great book
- 5:57Speaker 1: Go Woke, Go Broke. When is all this war, crazy
- 6:00Speaker 1: comy stuff going to end? We'll ask him next on
- 6:03Speaker 1: seven ten WR
