- 2:26Speaker 2: They knew they had some hot shit when they thought
- 2:28Speaker 2: about that one.
- 2:29Speaker 4: They was like, oh, I'm about to drop this on.

- 3:21Speaker 1: that joint while you still can't.
- 3:24Speaker 2: It's valuable anyway, I mean the first graphic novel with
- 3:28Speaker 2: like official license slash sanctions, like endorsed, endorsed by the
- 3:35Speaker 2: Hendrance to stay his actual fam created in conjunction with critics,
- 3:40Speaker 2: you can say like, this is the first ever, so
- 3:42Speaker 2: it's already.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Valuable that it is, and you know it's also my
- 3:46Speaker 1: first ever graphic novel, so you know, it's a little
- 3:49Speaker 1: valuable right there.
- 3:51Speaker 5: Cards and you know, the early reviews.
- 3:53Speaker 1: I still haven't gotten real reviews, but I've gotten some,
- 3:56Speaker 1: you know, words of praise from some journalists and things
- 3:59Speaker 1: of that nature. Yeah, you know, someone said it was
- 4:02Speaker 1: expertly told. You know, that was a phrase that was used.
- 4:06Speaker 4: So that's that's that bodes well.
- 4:09Speaker 5: The bodes well, bodeswell.
- 4:11Speaker 1: I've got a couple of interviews with the Mary Sue
- 4:14Speaker 1: and the av Club lined up.
- 4:15Speaker 5: They'll be dropping very soon. And the questions were very nice.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Shouts to y'all who you know did those, because I
- 4:22Speaker 1: really like that, you know, I really like when the
- 4:24Speaker 1: journalist has done their work and read their work, and
- 4:26Speaker 1: they've done both of those, and you know, I was
- 4:28Speaker 1: really impressed by these questions. And I'm doing for everyone.
- 4:32Speaker 1: I'm doing a Reddit ama on August. Shit, I think
- 4:37Speaker 1: August twenty eight. I think that Wednesday were doing it.
- 4:40Speaker 4: I don't think it's getting ready for Reddit.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Oh my god, I'm not. Melo was like, Noah, I'm good.
- 4:46Speaker 1: So it's just gonna be me. Melo said, I'm good
- 4:51Speaker 1: on Reddit. Oh you don't want to talk to Reddit.
- 4:54Speaker 1: I gotta go off on Reddit right now because Reddit's
- 4:56Speaker 1: going off on my goldfish poem on you heard about
- 4:59Speaker 1: the goldfish.
- 5:00Speaker 4: Oh that they did. The guy put it back up though,
- 5:02Speaker 4: oh it's up.
- 5:02Speaker 5: You know this is my corner.
- 5:04Speaker 4: I didn't know this. It's your corner.
- 5:06Speaker 5: Was literally my corner, A corner from.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Me is my apartment. Shut it off yesterday, but then.
- 5:14Speaker 1: I thought, hey, oh we turn it back. Look this,
- 5:18Speaker 1: like I say, folks, if you anywhere in the world
- 5:21Speaker 1: at this point, because this shit is drawn. It's like
- 5:23Speaker 1: ten million views on Twitter everywhere.
- 5:25Speaker 5: TikTok.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Yeah, the Brooklyn, the Brooklyn coy pond is on my corner,
- 5:30Speaker 1: not like the next corner. Note when I walk out
- 5:32Speaker 1: of my house, walk down the block and see my
- 5:35Speaker 1: block boys on the corner. We got the coy pond
- 5:37Speaker 1: right there, right before I get to Poppy, right before
- 5:41Speaker 1: I get the Chicki's on the corner, you know Tompkins,
- 5:43Speaker 1: which has been lit all summer.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Now, fire department like locks that ship that ain't happen.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Because niggas want to party and Goldfish and it's gonna happen.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Like I'm gonna let y'all know this is all we
- 5:57Speaker 1: do in all summer is party and gold fish.
- 6:02Speaker 2: And I heard somebody stole some at first and yo,
- 6:05Speaker 2: took like forty of them and.
- 6:07Speaker 5: They're going off from Reddit.
- 6:08Speaker 1: So I gotta create my account for this thing anyway,
- 6:11Speaker 1: so you know me, I'm right after we finished.
- 6:16Speaker 5: No, I'm on it.
- 6:16Speaker 1: I'm about to tell these Jeffy fires they can go somewhere,
- 6:19Speaker 1: you know what I mean, we don't having.
- 6:21Speaker 5: That over there.
- 6:22Speaker 1: That's my peoples on that corner. I love all them
- 6:23Speaker 1: dudes on the corner. They're good dudes, you know what
- 6:25Speaker 1: I mean. Shot it was my man dark That's funny.
- 6:27Speaker 1: You know, all my people's over there, so like you
- 6:29Speaker 1: know the fact that this happened and it's this beautiful thing.
- 6:31Speaker 1: We got little kids stopping by. I mean, I saw
- 6:34Speaker 1: a man out with a tripod today, Yo. It was crazy.
- 6:36Speaker 5: He was filming Sam. It is so hilarious.
- 6:40Speaker 1: This is like eight in the morning and my man
- 6:42Speaker 1: was out there with a tripod filming. They gotta go
- 6:46Speaker 1: fundme going they should, Yep. They want to get like
- 6:50Speaker 1: some equipment to make it, you know, for real and stuff.
- 6:54Speaker 5: Only. I love my brother on my corner.
- 6:57Speaker 6: Y'all.
- 6:58Speaker 5: This corner has been so crazy.
- 7:00Speaker 1: It's the same corner that you've seen on TikTok and
- 7:02Speaker 1: Instagram all year because of the summer block parties.
- 7:06Speaker 4: And I'm from I didn't live too far from where
- 7:08Speaker 4: you were.
- 7:09Speaker 1: Yeah, so we went right from the summer block parties,
- 7:12Speaker 1: you know, party and goldfish. That has been my summer folks.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Amazing news out there out there. Dog, you saw that
- 7:20Speaker 1: when you saw that witness report out there on my corner, like.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Oh my god, next they're gonna be coming out there
- 7:27Speaker 2: with the helicopter.
- 7:28Speaker 4: Would have a riot.
- 7:33Speaker 1: It's gonna be like like the Breaking two where niggas
- 7:36Speaker 1: have to hold a benefit concert.
- 7:38Speaker 5: To save them. But it's don't be the hate you
- 7:44Speaker 5: give niggas. Don't be out there throwing all the top
- 7:46Speaker 5: contails over the.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Problem, holding up flags with the fish, God save the fish.
- 7:57Speaker 5: Other people know this time to talk about go fish,
- 7:59Speaker 5: go fish.
- 8:01Speaker 4: The things we rally behind, Oh.
- 8:03Speaker 1: My god, it's incredible. All right, frol that's enough for
- 8:07Speaker 1: the local news for all nerds. I guess we do
- 8:11Speaker 1: have another big weekend in big news because D twenty
- 8:15Speaker 1: three went down this week.
- 8:18Speaker 5: Mm hmm, so funny.
- 8:19Speaker 1: I was just on the black guy who tips this
- 8:21Speaker 1: week shout out to Robinson, Karen and Karen was talking
- 8:25Speaker 1: about how she can't wait for D twenty three because
- 8:27Speaker 1: it felt like Disney. You know, it's like, Okay, here's
- 8:29Speaker 1: a little something over here, you know, at San Diego,
- 8:32Speaker 1: but you know we're gonna drop that heat when we
- 8:34Speaker 1: come to our own thing.
- 8:36Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean on the Disney side of things, it
- 8:40Speaker 4: was just sequels after sequel after sequel.
- 8:42Speaker 5: Il I mean, I wish that money.
- 8:47Speaker 2: I was thinking that the other day because like I
- 8:50Speaker 2: was on, like my TV was just on Netflix and
- 8:52Speaker 2: like the Auto Players on, like as you like the
- 8:55Speaker 2: little trailers go, and it was like the newest version
- 8:58Speaker 2: of like Power Rangers, and I was just like, yeah, damn,
- 9:00Speaker 2: it's just like.
- 9:00Speaker 4: A fifty year old property at this point.
- 9:03Speaker 2: And yes, they've been every generation they've been rebooting, so
- 9:06Speaker 2: it is what is. But then I mintally thought about
- 9:08Speaker 2: Disney and T twenty three, like Maana too, and and.
- 9:13Speaker 4: What's the other one?
- 9:13Speaker 2: Like it's a whole bunch that is just dead ass
- 9:15Speaker 2: sequels or or or live action remax like Snow White.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Yeah, I've watched none of these trailers yet I will
- 9:24Speaker 1: go to this fresh. The one that I am most
- 9:27Speaker 1: like dreading to watch is Moana too, because I love
- 9:32Speaker 1: mo Wana so much.
- 9:34Speaker 4: You don't believe that the magic can No lightning can
- 9:36Speaker 4: strike twice?
- 9:37Speaker 5: No, what's the point the rock.
- 9:40Speaker 4: The Republican.
- 9:43Speaker 5: I wish it wasn't so, you know, I wish it
- 9:47Speaker 5: wasn't so.
- 9:47Speaker 1: But you know, it's just like that man is clearly
- 9:49Speaker 1: a problem, like yeah, you know, yeah, problem waiting to happen.
- 9:54Speaker 1: So why why I keep feeding the monster now?
- 9:57Speaker 5: But I like, no, I love it, but it's just like,
- 10:00Speaker 5: like you said, it's a sequel to a sequel to
- 10:02Speaker 5: a film that I really I thought was a perfect store.
- 10:04Speaker 5: You know, it's one of those things.
- 10:05Speaker 4: It was and it didn't really need anything else.
- 10:07Speaker 2: No, but it's money. It's cash grab like it's cash
- 10:12Speaker 2: grab time.
- 10:13Speaker 5: Yep, paid you Yeah, cash cows.
- 10:16Speaker 4: You know what I mean?
- 10:16Speaker 1: So little flag that spent The fish, I mean, the
- 10:27Speaker 1: Fish is a Disney movie waiting.
- 10:29Speaker 2: To have and stop stop could be a bunch of
- 10:33Speaker 2: saying how the fuck did we get here?
- 10:37Speaker 4: The funny thing is we were.
- 10:39Speaker 2: Fine in the pet store and now y'all got us
- 10:42Speaker 2: on the block.
- 10:42Speaker 1: But the craziest sh it is how people are rallying
- 10:45Speaker 1: behind these fish and fighting against the fish when my
- 10:47Speaker 1: man spent sixteen dollars for one hundred of them because
- 10:50Speaker 1: they are the fish you feed the other fish.
- 10:55Speaker 5: It was not long for this world no matter what.
- 10:58Speaker 2: No, it'll last probably untill like September, and then they
- 11:01Speaker 2: gonna shut that shit down. Watch them like, well, they
- 11:04Speaker 2: probably gonna do is what they should have done. They
- 11:05Speaker 2: probably gonna fix that little divot that they're in right.
- 11:08Speaker 5: Now, like they know we thought about that.
- 11:10Speaker 1: But the fact is my street is so chopped and
- 11:13Speaker 1: they ain't fix it on it.
- 11:14Speaker 2: No, that's my point to be spiteful. The city will
- 11:18Speaker 2: come out and fix it, yo.
- 11:20Speaker 5: People would ride again.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Then then the people who are mad at the fish
- 11:23Speaker 1: would ride because they want the block fix just as
- 11:25Speaker 1: much as we do. So if they come around and
- 11:28Speaker 1: fix it and don't fix the block, and they can't
- 11:30Speaker 1: fix the block till next year, it's already in the process.
- 11:32Speaker 1: It's just there's some sewer line shit they got reduced,
- 11:35Speaker 1: so they ain't gonna come over there and cause that.
- 11:37Speaker 1: That would cause even more and they don't want no problems. D.
- 11:40Speaker 4: Twenty three.
- 11:43Speaker 1: That's all right, so D twenty three happened mad trailers drop.
- 11:49Speaker 1: We're gonna watch, you know, a bunch of them, even
- 11:52Speaker 1: some that you know, we weren't privy to see because
- 11:55Speaker 1: we just happen to not be there like that, you know.
- 11:58Speaker 1: But you know, things happen, They fall off trucks, and
- 12:01Speaker 1: you know, we're gonna see what we see.
- 12:03Speaker 4: I see what I seen.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Yeah, you know what I mean, that's all that happened.
- 12:06Speaker 1: I might have been there, who knows. You don't even know,
- 12:14Speaker 1: all right, so you know, because I was dreading it.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Let's just get it out the wait Listen, my gosh,
- 12:18Speaker 1: let's rip the band aid off.
- 12:21Speaker 5: And start with Mowanna too. You wanted to come this time, sick.
- 12:45Speaker 7: You were gone forever. It was three days very going
- 12:51Speaker 7: before Molli.
- 12:52Speaker 5: Stole Tipt's heart.
- 12:54Speaker 6: Ancesters wanted to connect our island to all the people
- 12:58Speaker 6: of the entire ocean.
- 13:00Speaker 3: Oh, it's my job as.
- 13:02Speaker 6: A wavefinder to finish what they started.
- 13:06Speaker 5: I wanna how people just how far we will go?
- 13:10Speaker 6: Oh no, no, don't you say no, no, Why This
- 13:18Speaker 6: is a call from the ancestors.
- 13:20Speaker 4: Hidden in a terrible storm.
- 13:22Speaker 1: It's an ancient island sitting foot on its sands would
- 13:25Speaker 1: break the curse, bring our people together again.
- 13:28Speaker 5: I know, would I.
- 13:29Speaker 6: Have to do?
- 13:30Speaker 5: Moe.
- 13:31Speaker 8: I could really use your help.
- 13:38Speaker 5: Can I get a cheat?
- 13:43Speaker 9: You will be destroyed and you'll wayfinder too.
- 13:49Speaker 5: Now I kind of missed the lava monster.
- 13:51Speaker 7: Ow What if you don't come back, I'll be back,
- 13:59Speaker 7: I promise, Grandma.
- 14:05Speaker 5: Do I hear people?
- 14:07Speaker 3: Those aren't people?
- 14:09Speaker 5: Cockama, CoCN up, you.
- 14:14Speaker 3: Guys, we got this. Bring it on, cocon.
- 14:33Speaker 4: Nah. Ben you wild.
- 14:34Speaker 2: That's gonna be fun. N That's gonna be fun. Listen, Ben.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Here's the other thing. When you look at the culture
- 14:40Speaker 2: of what Mowana is about Pacific island ers and things
- 14:42Speaker 2: like that, there are hundreds, if not thousands, each of islands.
- 14:46Speaker 2: Each island could represent a new story. So that's just boom,
- 14:50Speaker 2: like you already saw. Literally in this story, they just
- 14:52Speaker 2: introduced a new island. This island got X, this island
- 14:56Speaker 2: got why, this island is this deity?
- 14:58Speaker 10: This?
- 14:58Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying. Like they could go on
- 14:59Speaker 4: for fucking ever they wanted to with this.
- 15:02Speaker 2: To be quite honest, as long as the storyline is
- 15:04Speaker 2: good and it's heartfelt and it involves family and.
- 15:09Speaker 4: People and culture, they can keep going.
- 15:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean we're on toy Story five, so it's
- 15:13Speaker 1: obviously they can keep going.
- 15:15Speaker 4: So they could keep they could keep going.
- 15:16Speaker 2: I mean when you when you're dealing with universal themes,
- 15:19Speaker 2: like even though it's centered on a specific I would
- 15:23Speaker 2: say variety of cultures really because there's different things going on.
- 15:26Speaker 2: But even when it's that, it's still universal things, right.
- 15:30Speaker 2: I mentioned family love, you know, learning lessons, you know,
- 15:34Speaker 2: the heroes ark all that stuff. And she's older, so
- 15:36Speaker 2: she's probably gonna go through yet another arc. And she
- 15:38Speaker 2: had a little sister who's gonna have to go through
- 15:40Speaker 2: an arc. And then next year her sister gonna grow
- 15:43Speaker 2: up to be her age when she was in Moana one,
- 15:45Speaker 2: and then the sister's gonna go on her own journey
- 15:47Speaker 2: and they're gonna do the callbacks and it's gonna be
- 15:48Speaker 2: the Jedi returns, the Last Jedi.
- 15:50Speaker 1: And you know, I know, and it's like they they
- 15:53Speaker 1: really did the Raven Simone thing on this one, Like
- 15:56Speaker 1: when Raven Simone came on the College Show. You know,
- 15:58Speaker 1: it's like Rudy Huts, the boy had grown up a
- 16:00Speaker 1: little bit. They couldn't do the cute little girl shit.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Anymore with her so and comes the new one placement. Yeah,
- 16:07Speaker 1: and it's I mean, and with animation, you know, it's
- 16:10Speaker 1: like you don't even have to really replace him. You know,
- 16:12Speaker 1: Rudy had aged out of it. It's like this, It's
- 16:14Speaker 1: like we can just keep adding new kids whenever needed.
- 16:16Speaker 2: But that is a very that's interesting, you said, hustle,
- 16:19Speaker 2: because I don't even know she had.
- 16:19Speaker 5: A sister, No, Raven Simone.
- 16:22Speaker 4: Wasn't her talking about Mawana?
- 16:24Speaker 5: Oh yeah, I remember?
- 16:25Speaker 4: And she's also the sisters young enough where it could.
- 16:27Speaker 5: Be it could have happened in between. Yeah.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Yeah, like oh, by the way, while I was out
- 16:32Speaker 2: growing up, my mom and dad had another kid.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Like man, I remember the pigs any of that. I
- 16:37Speaker 1: remember the birds there, Yeah, I remember the pi being there.
- 16:40Speaker 1: I just don't remember it.
- 16:40Speaker 4: I remember the bird, the rooster. Yeah, yeah, all this stuff.
- 16:44Speaker 4: I think.
- 16:44Speaker 2: I think it's gonna work. Hopefully it looks decent. I
- 16:47Speaker 2: don't know about what's always scary and scary iness sense
- 16:51Speaker 2: that it may not work as the villain like traffiti
- 16:55Speaker 2: worked really well on the first one, because she wasn't
- 16:57Speaker 2: really a villain, right, it was she was a mister
- 17:00Speaker 2: understood deity that was taken from and she was restored,
- 17:04Speaker 2: and you know that's why she went back to her
- 17:06Speaker 2: beautiful You know lush self.
- 17:09Speaker 4: I have no idea about this villa. This villain was given,
- 17:13Speaker 4: at least.
- 17:13Speaker 5: The villain that ain't it right.
- 17:16Speaker 2: I don't know, no, no, storm. I would have to
- 17:19Speaker 2: watch again. But it looked like birds of dolphins or something.
- 17:22Speaker 2: I don't know, but maybe not dolphins.
- 17:24Speaker 4: Dolphins are supposed to be good, even though dolphins are
- 17:26Speaker 4: actually very mean.
- 17:27Speaker 5: They are they're evil bastards.
- 17:30Speaker 4: But yeah, I don't know.
- 17:32Speaker 2: I I all I have to say. I'm looking forward
- 17:34Speaker 2: to it. I think it could make it work. I'm
- 17:37Speaker 2: just concerned about how the villain's gonna play out.
- 17:39Speaker 1: But all right, well, another one that I'm really not
- 17:43Speaker 1: that interested in moved Foster.
- 17:46Speaker 5: But people are a trailer.
- 17:49Speaker 2: I'm not looking forward to this. I don't give damn
- 17:50Speaker 2: how good this is. And I've seen this.
- 17:53Speaker 5: You've already seen the trailer.
- 17:54Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know if we need to watch it then,
- 17:57Speaker 1: but here we go.
- 17:58Speaker 5: It's tying.
- 18:01Speaker 4: A starting of a cup speak. Just to be clear,
- 18:06Speaker 4: we're not in this story.
- 18:07Speaker 1: There's a lot of stories with all of us tell
- 18:09Speaker 1: one of those.
- 18:11Speaker 4: Live action lion king.
- 18:13Speaker 1: I wasn't a fan of the first and the brain
- 18:14Speaker 1: super would come to the.
- 18:19Speaker 5: Hell, what's your name?
- 18:21Speaker 4: What faster?
- 18:23Speaker 5: I told you to wait for me. We can't just
- 18:25Speaker 5: leave him there. Rules are rules. British King will never accept.
- 18:29Speaker 5: That was my question.
- 18:30Speaker 4: You know what British lost yourself.
- 18:39Speaker 5: We do not associate with outsiders.
- 18:42Speaker 6: Is the future king.
- 18:43Speaker 5: We must protect the blood line, save.
- 18:46Speaker 3: His life the faster there.
- 18:52Speaker 4: Father, my father, the King.
- 18:56Speaker 5: I always need to go white white.
- 19:00Speaker 6: Don't let.
- 19:02Speaker 5: I don't know who's playing this.
- 19:04Speaker 6: Sometimes it's barely a trace on the wind.
- 19:09Speaker 5: He smells like home. Then it's gone. You and Tucker together,
- 19:16Speaker 5: that is home.
- 19:18Speaker 9: Now, both of you go.
- 19:21Speaker 1: Find you please a circle of life.
- 19:28Speaker 9: This circle is broken. There will be one lion kid.
- 19:35Speaker 5: Move further up.
- 19:36Speaker 6: Run.
- 19:42Speaker 5: We must fight together. If we fight, we die. Just
- 19:49Speaker 5: to be clear, I never signed up for this.
- 19:54Speaker 9: I'm here to protect you, my brother.
- 20:03Speaker 6: This was.
- 20:06Speaker 4: What we're lying.
- 20:07Speaker 6: I didn't I say dog, you.
- 20:13Speaker 5: Were saying then, Manuel Jesus.
- 20:33Speaker 2: Fossa, the voice of Move Fassa is Aaron Pierre, who
- 20:36Speaker 2: is a black man. Okay, well the main people are
- 20:39Speaker 2: actually black men, but like you said, why do they
- 20:41Speaker 2: have British accents?
- 20:42Speaker 8: Is a question?
- 20:43Speaker 5: Is Micholson playing the White.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Yes, he's playing Kiros, the evil the Alion. Your girl
- 20:51Speaker 2: Tandy Newton the way Newton, she isn't here as essay,
- 20:55Speaker 2: I don't.
- 20:56Speaker 4: I don't know which character that is.
- 20:58Speaker 2: Cheth Broken obviously is back as Boom, Billy Eischner as Timoon,
- 21:02Speaker 2: Kelvin Harrison Junior is Taka.
- 21:07Speaker 5: I mean we can stop.
- 21:08Speaker 2: I don't care, Yeah, to stop, black Man. You do
- 21:11Speaker 2: know this is directed by Barry Jenkins.
- 21:14Speaker 1: I don't care, mister movie. No disrespect to anyone involved.
- 21:17Speaker 1: I'm glad y'all made this movie and all that, but
- 21:19Speaker 1: this ship is horrific.
- 21:20Speaker 4: I'm just glad. I'm glad. I'm glad.
- 21:22Speaker 2: I'm mooving for everybody black I told you already before
- 21:24Speaker 2: you press play. I wasn't caring about this.
- 21:27Speaker 5: I never.
- 21:28Speaker 4: I did not.
- 21:28Speaker 2: As mentioned, I did not like the first one to
- 21:30Speaker 2: be because I don't like, I did not lie like
- 21:33Speaker 2: the way you look the live action version.
- 21:35Speaker 4: Of Lion King.
- 21:35Speaker 2: I'm cool with the animated version, even the little sequels
- 21:40Speaker 2: that be on Disney Channel stuff like that.
- 21:41Speaker 4: I'm cool with the animation.
- 21:43Speaker 2: I just think it's weird and hard to make a
- 21:45Speaker 2: lion emote when you're trying to make it realistic. A
- 21:49Speaker 2: line e most and it looks like it's gonna fucking
- 21:51Speaker 2: eat you. So yeah, yeah, And I'm sure the young
- 21:55Speaker 2: kids will enjoy this, but it's not for me.
- 21:57Speaker 5: No, not for me.
- 21:58Speaker 1: It looks horrific. Like I said, like you said, it
- 22:01Speaker 1: just every scene when they weren't talking, I was like, ooh,
- 22:04Speaker 1: this is cool, and then whenever they talk, I'm just like, oh,
- 22:06Speaker 1: this is hur correct.
- 22:07Speaker 4: It's just.
- 22:09Speaker 2: My thing is, it's like if you kind of have
- 22:11Speaker 2: to have that middle ground, like if you want it
- 22:13Speaker 2: to be realistic, it's like you want to be. To me,
- 22:17Speaker 2: you can't have both. You can't be full of realistic
- 22:20Speaker 2: and emote as if a cartoon would like, you can't
- 22:23Speaker 2: do wild emotions when you have you're showing every little
- 22:27Speaker 2: ridge and feather and fur of an animal.
- 22:30Speaker 4: It's just it just doesn't match to me. This still
- 22:34Speaker 4: probably gonna make the money.
- 22:36Speaker 5: The animal doesn't even have a posable thumbs, fucker. It's
- 22:39Speaker 5: just that's the thing.
- 22:40Speaker 1: Humans are design, you know, our lips, everything we are
- 22:44Speaker 1: designed for voicing and talking animals mouths or not.
- 22:49Speaker 4: There's certain animals that emote very well like but in
- 22:52Speaker 4: different in their own.
- 22:53Speaker 2: Way, like the dogs, but yeah, particular right, like certain
- 22:58Speaker 2: ways they look and they use their eyes a lot,
- 23:00Speaker 2: stuff like this. Yeah, it's not impossible. It's just that
- 23:04Speaker 2: when you're doing hyperrealism and then try to add that on,
- 23:07Speaker 2: then to me, it's like you're doing too much. You
- 23:10Speaker 2: either gotta you gotta go one of the other. And
- 23:11Speaker 2: I'm trying to think of was there something that did
- 23:13Speaker 2: a good in between that was like straight up animals.
- 23:17Speaker 2: I don't know, if anything, they made it more cartoony
- 23:19Speaker 2: to purposefully be able to bring out emotions. So I
- 23:22Speaker 2: think the tech behind it is incredible. It looks just
- 23:27Speaker 2: the way it looks. It looks beautiful, and I applaud
- 23:31Speaker 2: them for that.
- 23:32Speaker 4: I'm not a fan.
- 23:33Speaker 5: All right, Well, let's still for another one.
- 23:36Speaker 1: I'm gonna do all the ones that I don't want
- 23:37Speaker 1: to see first, and then you know, Oh, snow.
- 23:41Speaker 2: White, but the Homegirl, I like the little girl, the
- 23:45Speaker 2: girl in it, she's not Yeah, let's see.
- 23:49Speaker 5: I haven't seen the original Snow White in so long,
- 23:51Speaker 5: but I'm sure it still bangs.
- 23:53Speaker 4: Oh your other Homegirl is the evil queen.
- 23:57Speaker 6: Queen.
- 23:58Speaker 5: Oh this is horrific again already h and he so fuck?
- 24:03Speaker 5: Was I gonna start talking to now?
- 24:05Speaker 10: Oh?
- 24:05Speaker 5: Not no, I forgot about the.
- 24:07Speaker 3: Dward while you work.
- 24:12Speaker 6: My jam.
- 24:13Speaker 5: It's my jam.
- 24:20Speaker 6: But I gotta leave it. This white work, go home, barl.
- 24:24Speaker 5: They're on the woman.
- 24:26Speaker 6: Oh god, Farrist.
- 24:30Speaker 8: Why no, okay, this is gonna put my way.
- 25:02Speaker 4: This is right, yes, but this is what I was
- 25:05Speaker 4: saying about Lion King.
- 25:06Speaker 2: In this trailer, you can see that it is a
- 25:08Speaker 2: mix of hyperalism with certain actors like Rachel Zegler, who
- 25:12Speaker 2: plays snow White, and then the animals and even the
- 25:15Speaker 2: dwarfs are.
- 25:17Speaker 6: Yes.
- 25:18Speaker 4: That's why I said, you know your home. How old
- 25:20Speaker 4: is Rachel? She older? She's twenty some I thought that's it.
- 25:26Speaker 4: She was one in two thousand and one.
- 25:27Speaker 5: Okay, what's she from? I'm with somebody else.
- 25:33Speaker 2: She was in a Shazam Serid the guys. She was
- 25:36Speaker 2: in the Newest Tonguer Game or new work. She was
- 25:39Speaker 2: Maria on West Side Story.
- 25:41Speaker 5: I know her version of Sam, Yeah I do. She
- 25:44Speaker 5: was one of the kids. Yeah, okay, all right, yeah,
- 25:47Speaker 5: I'm mitting her up with No.
- 25:48Speaker 4: No, she was you know, the three Witches. So the
- 25:51Speaker 4: four Witches.
- 25:54Speaker 1: God damn, look here, maybe I'm not missing her.
- 25:57Speaker 2: She was not the witches, but she was one of
- 25:59Speaker 2: the goddesses. She was one of the goddesses with Lucy Lou.
- 26:04Speaker 2: Oh yeah, she was the youngest.
- 26:06Speaker 5: She was the youngest one.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, I'm definitely her name is making me think
- 26:12Speaker 1: of another actress.
- 26:12Speaker 5: I can't think of.
- 26:14Speaker 4: Who you're thinking of? Somebody names this is Zegler.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Yeah, there's there's a redheaded, older white woman who I'm
- 26:20Speaker 1: thinking of. Yeah, yeah, if I'm missing.
- 26:25Speaker 4: Yeah, but I think they're cool with her. But yeah,
- 26:30Speaker 4: it can be done.
- 26:32Speaker 2: Back to what I was saying about, they purposely made
- 26:34Speaker 2: like the animals look more cartoonish, you know, they thank
- 26:38Speaker 2: God with the with the with the dwarves, and and again.
- 26:40Speaker 2: I if you are of the little person community, you
- 26:43Speaker 2: could tell me you feel differently. But sometimes I could
- 26:45Speaker 2: be offensive when you use little people to do dwarves
- 26:49Speaker 2: and for them to say, you know what, never mind,
- 26:50Speaker 2: just gonna do cgi. I thought that made sense to
- 26:53Speaker 2: me because also they are cartoonish characters the way they
- 26:57Speaker 2: First of all, they're not even realized, they're not fully
- 26:59Speaker 2: flushed people they're Yeah, they're they're what anthem what did
- 27:03Speaker 2: they call that?
- 27:04Speaker 4: I guess physical manifestations of emotions.
- 27:07Speaker 5: Happy dos aren't, doors aren't aren't.
- 27:13Speaker 4: That's why.
- 27:13Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what's I used the word. But their physical
- 27:15Speaker 2: manifestations of human emotions. So their names are dopey, sad,
- 27:21Speaker 2: happy ship like that, that's what you's know what I'm saying,
- 27:24Speaker 2: Like it's not a full fledged person, it's just you're
- 27:27Speaker 2: just an example of an emotion. And you know, it's
- 27:29Speaker 2: probably better that, since it's supposed to be a one
- 27:31Speaker 2: dimensional character anyway, that you just make it.
- 27:33Speaker 5: C G I right, So you're inside out basically.
- 27:36Speaker 4: So so that's a long way to say. I think
- 27:39Speaker 4: that's actually more respectful.
- 27:40Speaker 2: And also just from a matching perspective, like you can
- 27:44Speaker 2: make as you saw on the end, a deer like
- 27:47Speaker 2: look like it's in love with snow white and and
- 27:49Speaker 2: and and and cry and laughing.
- 27:51Speaker 4: And I think it's thumber in this one. Is that
- 27:53Speaker 4: sleep and beauty?
- 27:54Speaker 1: I don't know, but if the rabbit that was the
- 27:57Speaker 1: other thing about that ship is that none of them
- 27:59Speaker 1: niggas talk. If they starts talking in natural movie, it's
- 28:02Speaker 1: still had the same problem.
- 28:05Speaker 4: Animal.
- 28:06Speaker 5: Now, yeah, but that that deer. Look, if that deer
- 28:08Speaker 5: starts yapping away, it's horrifying, horrifying, maybe do you?
- 28:13Speaker 4: But I let that go because it don't look like
- 28:14Speaker 4: it's trying to be hyper realistic. So okay, it's fine
- 28:17Speaker 4: what it is. I don't care about.
- 28:21Speaker 5: Yeah, but she actually seemed to be hamming it up,
- 28:23Speaker 5: which she might be good at. Yeah. Well all right.
- 28:28Speaker 1: The last one that I have no interest in, and
- 28:30Speaker 1: the quickest, is the Toy Story five Teazer.
- 28:34Speaker 5: I cannot believe I just said Toy Story five.
- 28:37Speaker 4: I'm ready.
- 28:40Speaker 5: I enjoyed four.
- 28:41Speaker 1: I thought four was absolutely beautiful, beautiful, but I remember,
- 28:44Speaker 1: nothing doesn't matter.
- 28:46Speaker 4: You know that makes you cry?
- 28:48Speaker 5: I don't know if it did. Three I ball out, look,
- 28:50Speaker 5: I will never lie. Three ball got sent to that. Yes,
- 28:53Speaker 5: I ball out every time, ball.
- 28:55Speaker 1: Out every time. Also, never forget that, uh ten Miller's
- 29:02Speaker 1: a snitch. Yeah too big snitch. Okay, that was not
- 29:08Speaker 1: worth said.
- 29:10Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't think they're gonna show much like they
- 29:12Speaker 2: announced Toy Story, Toy Story five and Incredible three. Yeah,
- 29:16Speaker 2: incredible three. I'm just like nigga, when is that ever
- 29:18Speaker 2: gonna come out?
- 29:18Speaker 4: Though? Because they remember they took. It took like ten
- 29:21Speaker 4: years for two to come.
- 29:22Speaker 5: Out and remember good. Yeah, I barely remember two.
- 29:25Speaker 2: No two now two of something you were right for
- 29:27Speaker 2: saying you don't remember because it wasn't good.
- 29:29Speaker 5: I remember the baby having all the powers and that
- 29:31Speaker 5: was about it.
- 29:32Speaker 4: It wasn't It wasn't like one.
- 29:34Speaker 2: So I'm like, I hopefully they they on their job
- 29:36Speaker 2: with three and hopefully don't take a hundred years to
- 29:38Speaker 2: come out.
- 29:39Speaker 4: Toy Story five. I'm a Toy Story fan. They could
- 29:41Speaker 4: do anything.
- 29:42Speaker 1: I mean, they can do anything. Like I said, I
- 29:44Speaker 1: love for I remember how beautiful it was. I know
- 29:46Speaker 1: they're in that toys at one and then they're in
- 29:50Speaker 1: the park.
- 29:51Speaker 2: They've I thought they've been like they've been given, you know,
- 29:53Speaker 2: because they go the kids just give them to the
- 29:55Speaker 2: next younger.
- 29:56Speaker 5: Yeah, so they end up in that store and in
- 29:58Speaker 5: there in the park. But it's like that's this other thing.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Like as much I love the animation and toy stories,
- 30:02Speaker 1: I also and that's the same problem with Moana is
- 30:06Speaker 1: I've been watching a lot of animation lately over the
- 30:08Speaker 1: last couple of years, and then there's been a lot
- 30:10Speaker 1: of stuff like you know, we had a spider Verse,
- 30:11Speaker 1: pushing the limits from other things. I just finished You
- 30:14Speaker 1: and Mayhem, TM and T the other day, which was
- 30:16Speaker 1: really good. My favorite joint of all is besides Spider Verse.
- 30:22Speaker 1: I mean, there's Blue Giant from Japan, and then what's
- 30:26Speaker 1: the joint uh that I can never believe how good
- 30:29Speaker 1: it is. What's the Little Nigga's name? The spin off
- 30:33Speaker 1: the Nine Lives, the Cat Joint? God damn, I'm blinking.
- 30:41Speaker 1: Antonio Banderis plays some you know this movie Put Some Boots,
- 30:46Speaker 1: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You. Put Some Boots the sequel.
- 30:48Speaker 1: It's like one of the greatest movies of all time.
- 30:50Speaker 1: To me, it's like it's just incredible. And so we're
- 30:52Speaker 1: seeing all these different people and different companies pushing animation.
- 30:56Speaker 1: And while Toy Story and Moana both push it, they're
- 30:59Speaker 1: pushing it in that same style that they've been doing
- 31:02Speaker 1: for five movies now.
- 31:04Speaker 4: So it's when you say the style, you mean art style.
- 31:07Speaker 5: Yeah, that is their art style.
- 31:09Speaker 1: That's a signature, and they push it every time, like
- 31:12Speaker 1: each one looks incredibly better than the last one, but
- 31:15Speaker 1: it's the same style. It's the same Dude. Spider Verse,
- 31:17Speaker 1: like if they did five Spider verses. I'm gonna be like,
- 31:20Speaker 1: all right, y'all, because you know the Spider Verse one
- 31:22Speaker 1: and two are the same style.
- 31:24Speaker 5: Two pushes it to another level.
- 31:27Speaker 2: You're I don't I don't even know if it's a
- 31:28Speaker 2: great But what you're saying, what's the wrong with it
- 31:31Speaker 2: be in the same style.
- 31:32Speaker 5: It's I don't need to see five of them.
- 31:35Speaker 4: You just saying you don't want to see that style.
- 31:39Speaker 1: And then the other problem with toy story is and
- 31:41Speaker 1: that's Pixar. Pixar uses the same style pretty much on
- 31:44Speaker 1: all the movies. That's why Elemental I've heard was good.
- 31:46Speaker 1: But I'm saying, yeah, I know, but I'm just sick
- 31:49Speaker 1: of seeing that style. So it has to be a
- 31:51Speaker 1: story that I really wanted to see, you know, you like, yeah,
- 31:55Speaker 1: that that shine that you know their animation style.
- 31:59Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, But what if it's just the same, just different.
- 32:03Speaker 5: Stories, Like well, like I love Turning Red.
- 32:06Speaker 1: That was a great joint, you know what I mean.
- 32:08Speaker 1: But at the same time, this turning Turning Red was good.
- 32:12Speaker 1: But when I talk about the greatest animation over the
- 32:14Speaker 1: last few years, a Spider Verse, Blue Giant and put
- 32:17Speaker 1: some boots, it's joints that really push things.
- 32:20Speaker 2: You know, That's what I'm seeing me different elements of
- 32:23Speaker 2: different types of animation with that, and.
- 32:26Speaker 5: Well Blue Giant doesn't even have that.
- 32:28Speaker 1: It's just incredibly well done at doing you know, traditional
- 32:32Speaker 1: Japanese animation. They do do a lot of different things
- 32:35Speaker 1: with music and the way.
- 32:36Speaker 5: Yeah it is.
- 32:38Speaker 2: Yeah, well then toy story, I guess I'm talking trying
- 32:42Speaker 2: to understand what you're talking about.
- 32:43Speaker 1: It's incredibly well done, but it's like, Okay, Jamie McKelvey,
- 32:46Speaker 1: the artist of Wicked and Devine, talked about this right
- 32:49Speaker 1: when they were doing Wicked and Divine.
- 32:50Speaker 5: They did sixty issues of it, and while.
- 32:53Speaker 1: They grew as an artist, they couldn't change the basic
- 32:56Speaker 1: things that they'd introduce an issue one of Wicked and
- 32:59Speaker 1: Divine because that is just the style of Wicking and Divine.
- 33:03Speaker 1: It's just like Woody h what's his name to Infinity
- 33:07Speaker 1: and Beyond and the rest of the niggas is always
- 33:08Speaker 1: look the same. You know, they're never gonna like they're
- 33:10Speaker 1: gonna grow. They're gonna be more light refractions and shininess
- 33:14Speaker 1: and all this type of thing, but you're never gonna see.
- 33:17Speaker 5: Them in a into the Spider Verse style.
- 33:20Speaker 1: You know, like imagine if they're like, fuck it, the
- 33:22Speaker 1: next movie is we're toppying everything into the Spider verse.
- 33:25Speaker 5: Did and do it like that? Right?
- 33:27Speaker 4: Well, that's also kind of what what you to the
- 33:29Speaker 4: same quote you used.
- 33:31Speaker 2: That's because you've already established yes, and that's my point,
- 33:35Speaker 2: already established that they live use antianimssi's at any point
- 33:38Speaker 2: and mix it on the same shot.
- 33:40Speaker 1: So it's why sequels. It's the same thing like Ghostbustles,
- 33:43Speaker 1: which is live action. We're now Ghostbusters whatever.
- 33:46Speaker 5: And I was trying. I've been struggling to get through
- 33:48Speaker 5: that last one.
- 33:49Speaker 4: I didn't watch it. It's a struggle, not interested.
- 33:52Speaker 1: Yeah, because it's the same ship. Oh we're gonna use
- 33:54Speaker 1: proton packs.
- 33:55Speaker 4: Oh this, oh that, But that's the same ship and
- 33:57Speaker 4: the same story.
- 33:58Speaker 1: Yeah, and that story in same story. But it's also
- 34:00Speaker 1: the same rules of the game. It's the same look,
- 34:03Speaker 1: you know, you have to have these references. And that's
- 34:05Speaker 1: the same thing with toy story. While the look gets better,
- 34:08Speaker 1: just like Ghostbusters. You know, we got better cameras than
- 34:10Speaker 1: in the eighties, so sh it looks, you know, more crisp.
- 34:13Speaker 1: It's it's the same thing, you know, and it's the
- 34:15Speaker 1: same universe. That's why I'm talking. Pixar is like and
- 34:18Speaker 1: Pixar is a difference. It's like, why I never watched
- 34:21Speaker 1: any of this Pickable Means and barely any any of
- 34:23Speaker 1: those movies. I don't like their style of animation. I
- 34:25Speaker 1: hate the pointy noses, all that type of shit. It
- 34:27Speaker 1: just doesn't work for me.
- 34:30Speaker 6: You know.
- 34:30Speaker 4: It's like you know what animation House. I don't like
- 34:33Speaker 4: the style of dream Works.
- 34:35Speaker 5: Yeah, that's the one, right, That's that's the exception of How.
- 34:37Speaker 4: To Train Your Dragon, because I think that's also dream.
- 34:38Speaker 5: Yeah, but it's all the all them pointy ose niggas.
- 34:41Speaker 5: I can't deal with it.
- 34:42Speaker 2: It's something grinmy about dreams like dream It's.
- 34:44Speaker 4: Like, yeah, there it is the great value Pixar.
- 34:49Speaker 5: There it is. Yeah, And that's what I mean.
- 34:51Speaker 1: Even though Pixar is always redefining, it's still you know,
- 34:55Speaker 1: that Pixar style. So it's like when I saw Spider Verse,
- 34:58Speaker 1: I was like, yo, you know, and then you see
- 35:00Speaker 1: Spider Verse two and it's like, okay, that's expanding all
- 35:02Speaker 1: and then you see Pussing Boots, which is clearly like, oh,
- 35:05Speaker 1: we saw Spider Verse two and.
- 35:09Speaker 2: What I'm saying, you know, it's some of the like
- 35:12Speaker 2: I said, I think how to change you Dragon, some
- 35:13Speaker 2: of the higher quality ones.
- 35:15Speaker 4: But everything else I'd be like, eh.
- 35:16Speaker 5: And it's also like pussing Boots. They admitted it.
- 35:18Speaker 1: They're like, yo, we saw Spider Verse and we're like,
- 35:20Speaker 1: we need to change, you know, And so that's why
- 35:23Speaker 1: it looks the way it does. And then Blue Giant
- 35:26Speaker 1: is just some whole other ship y'all need to see.
- 35:28Speaker 1: But you know, all right now we're on Step Crew,
- 35:32Speaker 1: Skeleton Crew. Damn, you watched all these I actually prepared.
- 35:37Speaker 4: I watched the it was coming out.
- 35:40Speaker 5: I wanted to come in fresh man. I wanted to
- 35:42Speaker 5: see it.
- 35:49Speaker 3: Tomorrow will set the course of your entire future.
- 35:56Speaker 5: Oh don't you ever want to do anything exciting?
- 36:02Speaker 10: Like?
- 36:02Speaker 5: What what if we could go anywhere we want in
- 36:06Speaker 5: the whole galaxy? A real adventure, no more pretend.
- 36:17Speaker 4: What do you think it is?
- 36:22Speaker 5: I think it's a lost Jedi jumple.
- 36:27Speaker 6: Hello, be careful where you stop from.
- 36:45Speaker 4: We're lost, really lost.
- 36:51Speaker 5: Its dangerous out here in space. Trust no one, my
- 37:08Speaker 5: man at.
- 37:10Speaker 3: You're Jedi.
- 37:13Speaker 5: I know.
- 37:23Speaker 4: So I saw this and that immediate was like Ben's
- 37:25Speaker 4: gonna love this.
- 37:25Speaker 1: I always thought Jude Law was highly unattractive until I
- 37:28Speaker 1: met him, and that Nigga is one of the most
- 37:30Speaker 1: attractive human beings on the planet.
- 37:32Speaker 5: That niggas like cheap.
- 37:33Speaker 4: Bones, He's a pretty guy. I don't know who he's
- 37:35Speaker 4: supposed to represent this, but I don't know his character
- 37:39Speaker 4: like that.
- 37:39Speaker 1: But yeah, I've read about about it. Basically some kids
- 37:43Speaker 1: and they run into this whole Jedi. The one of
- 37:46Speaker 1: the interesting things about Shelton Crew is it might like
- 37:49Speaker 1: bookings into whatever happened at the end of Ahsoka. I
- 37:53Speaker 1: think I think like the Shelton Crew might run into
- 37:57Speaker 1: them or something.
- 37:57Speaker 5: We'll see. I'm not one hundred percent sure that that,
- 38:00Speaker 5: like the rumors and stuff. Yeah, it looks good.
- 38:02Speaker 1: I mean for kids show, it looks really expensive. That's
- 38:05Speaker 1: the first thing I was saying. I thought it looked
- 38:06Speaker 1: really you know, well done for a trailer. I know
- 38:08Speaker 1: it's a trailer, but all those shops are like big money,
- 38:11Speaker 1: so you know, I'm yeah, I'm not like, oh my god,
- 38:15Speaker 1: I'm gonna see this, but I left all the little
- 38:16Speaker 1: kids and my man, who's like, you know, why do
- 38:18Speaker 1: anything that is so me?
- 38:20Speaker 5: Right there? I feel that like, Nah, man, I'm chilling.
- 38:22Speaker 5: You know adventure, Nah, I like this life.
- 38:24Speaker 2: This trailer was giving very much like eighties kids group
- 38:29Speaker 2: goals on adventure, Like it's the entire multi And that's
- 38:32Speaker 2: why another reason why I'm like this is so you
- 38:34Speaker 2: because that's your lane, right, Like, yeah, it was giving
- 38:36Speaker 2: stranger things, which gives things like the goonies and all that.
- 38:40Speaker 5: You know, floorers, No, but you know what I'm talking about.
- 38:46Speaker 2: But but I know what you're talking like that feeling
- 38:49Speaker 2: of of you know, a band of wayward kids gets together.
- 38:54Speaker 4: I didn't want to say Lord of Flies.
- 38:55Speaker 5: But like on some you know, random kids, it could
- 38:57Speaker 5: turn into that.
- 38:58Speaker 4: It could turn into that.
- 38:59Speaker 2: But but you know, like like oh, these random kids
- 39:01Speaker 2: from all over, like the neighborhood kulds get together, they
- 39:03Speaker 2: go on on the venture and they get in trouble
- 39:05Speaker 2: and they got to team up to find their way
- 39:07Speaker 2: out or save the day, or save the planet or
- 39:09Speaker 2: save the.
- 39:10Speaker 4: Neighborhood, whatever the hell it is.
- 39:12Speaker 2: It's that specific approach, just set in Star Wars universe.
- 39:16Speaker 2: So I was just like, Okay, this could this could
- 39:18Speaker 2: be really cute because it's following me a classic motif.
- 39:22Speaker 4: But putting it in this in this environment, so I
- 39:24Speaker 4: thought it could it could work out.
- 39:26Speaker 1: Yeah, And I think that's what like sometimes they need
- 39:30Speaker 1: to do, especially like with Marvel. Like I would love
- 39:32Speaker 1: to see this applied to Marvel, you know, like a
- 39:35Speaker 1: group of kids, you know, finds out something and then
- 39:37Speaker 1: you know, explores something like those type of motifs work,
- 39:40Speaker 1: you know. That's why I don't.
- 39:42Speaker 5: I don't know. I guess that there had to be
- 39:43Speaker 5: some of these in the nineties, but in the eighties
- 39:45Speaker 5: it was like every other.
- 39:45Speaker 4: Day, most recent one and stranger things. Yeah, right, But
- 39:51Speaker 4: I'm just saying that.
- 39:51Speaker 2: That I the more recent, even though it was set
- 39:53Speaker 2: in the eighties, the more he sent one I can
- 39:55Speaker 2: remember that worked worked well, Yeah, and worked well. Like
- 40:00Speaker 2: I'm sure there may be younger, even newer examples that
- 40:05Speaker 2: just you know, we just haven't seen it, like.
- 40:06Speaker 1: I mean, we used to have so many I remember.
- 40:08Speaker 1: I don't know if they ever did, but they were
- 40:09Speaker 1: gonna do a remake of Explorers Explorers with these kids.
- 40:13Speaker 1: I think they got a message from an alien and
- 40:15Speaker 1: it allows them to create this for shield, and so
- 40:17Speaker 1: with the force shield they make a spaceship and then
- 40:21Speaker 1: go off into space and then they run into the
- 40:23Speaker 1: aliens who sent the four Shield in the first place.
- 40:25Speaker 5: And it was a cute movie. It's a good ass
- 40:27Speaker 5: movie from what I remember.
- 40:28Speaker 2: Group of kids, random kids go on to venture meet
- 40:31Speaker 2: Jedi comedy ensuits.
- 40:33Speaker 5: Yeah, I like the.
- 40:33Speaker 1: Little Brown that's the log line for this, and I
- 40:36Speaker 1: like my man who said, you know I got I'm good?
- 40:39Speaker 4: Yeah, And I think it's eight episodes.
- 40:44Speaker 2: It says jew laws in the All eight, Rivy Cobbett,
- 40:49Speaker 2: Kanye's who is that looks like that main boy He's
- 40:51Speaker 2: in All eight as well, and there's a few other people.
- 40:54Speaker 1: All right, Well, next we have the Agatha all along
- 40:59Speaker 1: the sec and trailer, which I'm definitely more excited about.
- 41:05Speaker 1: I'm hearing a lot of hints about young Avengers coming around,
- 41:08Speaker 1: and a big rumor is that the boy in this
- 41:11Speaker 1: who is an unnamed teenager, is actually playing the grown
- 41:15Speaker 1: up version of Wanda's son.
- 41:18Speaker 5: Which one is that Billy Billy is the magician. Yeah,
- 41:21Speaker 5: I think Billy is a matriician yep. So we shall
- 41:24Speaker 5: see if this gives any more hints. But he's one
- 41:26Speaker 5: of my favorite characters.
- 41:27Speaker 6: As a.
- 41:32Speaker 9: Everything.
- 41:33Speaker 5: The Covernless Witch.
- 41:44Speaker 6: What really happened to you.
- 41:48Speaker 2: See kist though the road to all that's fall and fair.
- 41:56Speaker 8: She took every little bit of power I had.
- 42:00Speaker 3: The sister's fun I'm something a covered water.
- 42:04Speaker 9: We gotta get back on top.
- 42:06Speaker 5: I'm gonna walk the road.
- 42:09Speaker 9: Join me?
- 42:10Speaker 5: Dark is so wake thy power.
- 42:16Speaker 4: The Witch's road will give you the thing you want
- 42:19Speaker 4: most if you make it to the end of the road.
- 42:22Speaker 4: Is a death.
- 42:22Speaker 6: Wishue shine.
- 42:29Speaker 4: Heard you guys were having a party? Hey shall I.
- 42:36Speaker 5: Do? It will test us witches and our knowledge of
- 42:43Speaker 5: the craft. We don't even know what we're up against,
- 42:49Speaker 5: our worst nightmares.
- 42:51Speaker 7: How do we pass this trial without any power?
- 42:54Speaker 5: We survive like witches have been doing for centuries?
- 43:00Speaker 4: Oh what happens next? I just need these witches to get.
- 43:09Speaker 6: Me to the end.
- 43:15Speaker 4: The bodies are really piling up. Why do you let
- 43:22Speaker 4: them believe those things about you? Because the truth is
- 43:24Speaker 4: too awful? Time to finish the road, last one? There
- 43:37Speaker 4: is a nice person, follow me, my friend?
- 43:42Speaker 3: It's too by.
- 43:51Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 43:53Speaker 2: One thing specifically about the trailer I wanted to point out.
- 43:57Speaker 2: I just wanted to say, like much love is Shashi
- 43:59Speaker 2: as it made up? Because she's one of the main
- 44:01Speaker 2: characters here, So I thought that was she was one
- 44:03Speaker 2: of the new Riches Copings.
- 44:04Speaker 4: I thought that was cool.
- 44:06Speaker 2: I did see this, I thought, you know, it was
- 44:08Speaker 2: just a little step up than what we had already
- 44:10Speaker 2: been seeing because I've seen like every teaser, trailer, every
- 44:13Speaker 2: little thing about this. When this was first re announced
- 44:17Speaker 2: and retroduced back into the main I was just like,
- 44:20Speaker 2: one forgot about it, and then two I was just like,
- 44:23Speaker 2: has it been too long?
- 44:24Speaker 4: Like do we care about seeing an Agatha series?
- 44:27Speaker 2: Like that whole thing when Agatha All Along was a
- 44:29Speaker 2: whole phenomenon, you know, the song and the sentiment behind it,
- 44:33Speaker 2: like that was many years ago at this point, and
- 44:35Speaker 2: it kenn it does it still have it that aside?
- 44:39Speaker 4: No, it doesn't have that. That's gone. But what it
- 44:41Speaker 4: does have is actually a compelling looking story.
- 44:44Speaker 2: Because I was I was skeptical at first when I
- 44:47Speaker 2: first started see the trails come out, and then when
- 44:49Speaker 2: I saw like the longer trailer and then this one
- 44:51Speaker 2: come out, I was like, oh wait a minute, this
- 44:52Speaker 2: actually looks interesting Like this they could really do something
- 44:55Speaker 2: with this, And it's more of a macabre approach than
- 44:57Speaker 2: what you see come out of Marvel, Right, So you know,
- 45:01Speaker 2: the closest thing I can think of is, like you
- 45:02Speaker 2: mentioned the other show.
- 45:03Speaker 5: Where where Night.
- 45:05Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the only thing that's that I've seen recently.
- 45:07Speaker 2: That's the closest to this feeling and approaching style. So
- 45:11Speaker 2: I like that this was different number one, right, and
- 45:13Speaker 2: number two is not a It's a different story.
- 45:16Speaker 9: Right.
- 45:16Speaker 2: Were always yelling about can Marvel do something different, you know,
- 45:19Speaker 2: stop being so safe. Well now they're doing it with
- 45:22Speaker 2: uh Will would be villain in all these randoms, and
- 45:25Speaker 2: they're actually trying to do something.
- 45:26Speaker 4: And this is coming out around Halloween, so it fits
- 45:31Speaker 4: the era.
- 45:32Speaker 5: It fits.
- 45:32Speaker 2: So I think this is potentially promising. It could be
- 45:36Speaker 2: really good, or it could be really boring. It could
- 45:39Speaker 2: go right the way.
- 45:40Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 45:41Speaker 1: And people were talking in our Deadpool review in the comments,
- 45:44Speaker 1: a lot of people are like, oh, y'all complaining because
- 45:46Speaker 1: you want to know what's next. And I had to
- 45:47Speaker 1: explain to somebody I've never given a ship about what's next.
- 45:50Speaker 1: That is I think that is one of the worst
- 45:52Speaker 1: hearts of Marrow.
- 45:54Speaker 4: We don't want to I don't I don't want to trail.
- 45:56Speaker 2: I don't want my movie to be a trailer for
- 45:58Speaker 2: the next movie, Like because that you don't care.
- 46:01Speaker 1: Yeah whatever, And even though Billy might be in this show,
- 46:06Speaker 1: that the team we see in the show might be Billy.
- 46:09Speaker 1: I don't care about the Young Advengeance film because at
- 46:12Speaker 1: this point, I don't think it really works and it'll
- 46:14Speaker 1: never be the Young Avengeance book that I've read that
- 46:17Speaker 1: I love because I just know that book and you
- 46:20Speaker 1: are two different things at this point. I just want
- 46:22Speaker 1: to see Billy, if it is Billy, be used well
- 46:25Speaker 1: in Agatha all alone, you know, And I want to
- 46:28Speaker 1: see a good story in Agatha all along. And what
- 46:31Speaker 1: does give me hope because I'm everything you said I
- 46:33Speaker 1: agree with is Aubrey Plaza because I know Aubrey doesn't
- 46:37Speaker 1: just choose scripts because Willy Nilly. At this point, you know,
- 46:39Speaker 1: she's bankable, she can do whatever she wants. Yeah, and
- 46:42Speaker 1: she usually chooses really intelligent scripts and really weird projects.
- 46:47Speaker 1: And I love Aubrey as an actor, so that, you know,
- 46:50Speaker 1: definitely has me.
- 46:51Speaker 2: And at this point, I think she's reached legendary status
- 46:54Speaker 2: at Captain Han specifically that's oh yeah.
- 46:57Speaker 5: That too.
- 46:58Speaker 1: I mean she's also a monster, a monster, so yeah,
- 47:02Speaker 1: I fully believe that both of them could carry this
- 47:05Speaker 1: and wouldn't do this unless it was worth their time.
- 47:08Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, and also it's it's worth the money, right.
- 47:11Speaker 5: Well, I mean there is.
- 47:13Speaker 1: Let's let's let's leave for a trill, let's be for
- 47:15Speaker 1: a Aubrey. It's like, oh Marvel calling, you know, I'm
- 47:18Speaker 1: doing all this weird ship on the side, but quick,
- 47:20Speaker 1: six weeks I'm down.
- 47:22Speaker 4: It seems like they're in post production though, so when
- 47:25Speaker 4: is it supposed to drop though?
- 47:26Speaker 5: September eighteens it said two episode premiere or September.
- 47:29Speaker 2: Okay, so soon, okay, so they're either wrapping now or
- 47:33Speaker 2: post production?
- 47:34Speaker 5: Is you know c G I E.
- 47:35Speaker 1: They've been raped? Yeah, they've been wrapped rapping. Yeah, the
- 47:38Speaker 1: wrap has been done. They've been It's not a while.
- 47:40Speaker 1: But all right, and now some of the joints that
- 47:43Speaker 1: you know, we might have seen, we might have been there,
- 47:45Speaker 1: who knows, you know, don't worry about all that. But uh,
- 47:48Speaker 1: first of let's do Winter Soldier extended trailer. M see
- 47:56Speaker 1: what we got here?
- 47:58Speaker 4: Winter Soldiers?
- 48:00Speaker 5: Uh, Captain America, I'm sorry, Brave New.
- 48:02Speaker 4: World, Brave New World.
- 48:04Speaker 5: Let me go.
- 48:06Speaker 9: Tell nor the signs slow ad got everybody.
- 48:10Speaker 6: I'll cook it that m sorry.
- 48:39Speaker 9: Everybody else out I know, I just must look for it.
- 48:45Speaker 5: Can we have of in?
- 48:47Speaker 9: She stays, sir, you're in service, been compromised.
- 48:52Speaker 5: Let me investigate.
- 48:53Speaker 9: Olay, you think you're a little too close to this growth? Yeah,
- 48:58Speaker 9: fuller story puts the singer, this is bullshitting.
- 49:02Speaker 6: You know what.
- 49:03Speaker 9: This is politics, whatever was behind us, and I don't
- 49:15Speaker 9: want to stay closer. You gotta tenserna. You gonna talk about.
- 49:29Speaker 6: This is a trap.
- 49:31Speaker 5: Don't see any warning.
- 49:34Speaker 9: The don't mother be played?
- 49:37Speaker 4: The world was talking against yourself, a little power of shifting,
- 49:44Speaker 4: and you're just another empty symbol.
- 49:50Speaker 5: You don't even know what this is.
- 49:54Speaker 4: Right home.
- 50:00Speaker 5: Textually showed it nice.
- 50:04Speaker 4: It looked good.
- 50:05Speaker 5: Yeah wow, Oh that's good.
- 50:11Speaker 4: I like Harrison Ford.
- 50:12Speaker 1: Yeah wow, that looks pretty good right there. I can't
- 50:16Speaker 1: can't deny it. I cannot.
- 50:20Speaker 2: I like the extended I like the Usually I hate
- 50:22Speaker 2: the extended stuff. They show too much of the movie.
- 50:24Speaker 2: But I think that instead of showing too much a movie,
- 50:27Speaker 2: they just showed more details about all the different characters.
- 50:32Speaker 4: So you know about the whole controversy, right.
- 50:35Speaker 5: With Yes, I do.
- 50:39Speaker 1: For those who don't know the main woman that Harrison Ford,
- 50:43Speaker 1: so has can take over is supposed to be Sabra.
- 50:48Speaker 1: Now there's been hell of reshoots on this thing. Sabra
- 50:52Speaker 1: is from the Marvel comics. Saber is a super soldier
- 50:56Speaker 1: character who is a agent of.
- 50:58Speaker 4: Israel, specifically in Israel essentially.
- 51:01Speaker 1: Yeah, basically captain Israel essentially. And there's been hell of
- 51:05Speaker 1: reshoots because people are super mad about that, you know,
- 51:08Speaker 1: for various and obvious reasons. And so now they're saying
- 51:12Speaker 1: that she's not playing Sabra, she's just playing a random
- 51:15Speaker 1: CIA agent.
- 51:16Speaker 2: Even though in the IMDb it says Ruth bat Sarah
- 51:20Speaker 2: slash Sabra.
- 51:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 51:21Speaker 2: Out, yeah, they said that that she's not playing Sad
- 51:24Speaker 2: or that this is not the Saber that you think,
- 51:25Speaker 2: and you know what I mean, like if they're gonna
- 51:27Speaker 2: really rewrite and tiptoe around it and not exactly make
- 51:32Speaker 2: a Saber like whatever it is, what it is. But also,
- 51:34Speaker 2: don't lie to me, not to say that IMDb is
- 51:37Speaker 2: the n OBO because it changes.
- 51:38Speaker 4: All the time.
- 51:39Speaker 2: It's it's a step of above Wikipedia. But uh, yeah,
- 51:44Speaker 2: don't lie. That's all the actress though I do like
- 51:48Speaker 2: her work, Shiraja. She played Esa Shapiro Unorthodox I don't
- 51:52Speaker 2: know if you ever watched Unorthodox a Little is a
- 51:54Speaker 2: mini series about.
- 51:55Speaker 5: Hell yeah, did I watch?
- 51:58Speaker 2: She was fucking amazing and her portrayal of her acting
- 52:02Speaker 2: and that was incredible. So, you know, just as far
- 52:05Speaker 2: as from a technicality perspective, she's wonderful actors. The whole
- 52:09Speaker 2: cyber thing, I don't know. I will say that I'm
- 52:12Speaker 2: gonna wait and see type situation where like because because
- 52:16Speaker 2: there's so much information and disinformation out there about who
- 52:20Speaker 2: her cast are actually supposed to be, that I kind
- 52:24Speaker 2: of can't just be like like immediate boycott because especially
- 52:26Speaker 2: if you claim this is not who it is, then
- 52:29Speaker 2: I'm like, all right, maybe I'll change it.
- 52:31Speaker 4: The sacred time and the take a time and the
- 52:32Speaker 4: multiverse is a thing, let's see.
- 52:35Speaker 5: The other thing is Malcolm Spelman, friend of the show,
- 52:39Speaker 5: is the main writer on this movie.
- 52:42Speaker 4: So that script.
- 52:44Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, so that makes.
- 52:45Speaker 1: Me give hope because Malcolm does not give a fuck
- 52:47Speaker 1: and he is definitely the type if he's done a
- 52:49Speaker 1: Rite and Israeli character in there to make sure that
- 52:52Speaker 1: the things needed to.
- 52:53Speaker 5: Be said or need to be said.
- 52:55Speaker 2: Thank you for mentioning that and that that was the
- 52:57Speaker 2: other point that I was gonna make that because of
- 53:00Speaker 2: who's in charge and who wrote this and and yeah
- 53:02Speaker 2: we know about I'm not going to go there, but
- 53:05Speaker 2: we know how deep this can go. But considering who
- 53:08Speaker 2: is in charge and who's involved, I think you may
- 53:12Speaker 2: be surprised about how this goes.
- 53:15Speaker 4: So I'm hopeful for that.
- 53:17Speaker 5: They have Danny.
- 53:18Speaker 2: Ramirez, he's Falcon. Yeah, already that suit looked good and
- 53:25Speaker 2: I didn't know they was gonna show all that. I
- 53:26Speaker 2: was like, Okay, this looked good. Your boy Carl Lumbley
- 53:30Speaker 2: back as Isaiah Bradley, like you've seen him in the
- 53:33Speaker 2: other trailers, so that was cool seeing him, like because
- 53:35Speaker 2: we haven't seen him be physical in the the TV.
- 53:40Speaker 4: Show what was a TV show called?
- 53:41Speaker 5: I mean that man through that wall? That was enough him, Like, yeah,
- 53:47Speaker 5: you know you still got it from that?
- 53:51Speaker 2: You know who's back that. I ain't realize it's bad.
- 53:53Speaker 2: It's interesting. Live Tyler as Betty Ross. I didn't realize.
- 53:58Speaker 4: I was like, oh ship, they actually.
- 54:01Speaker 1: Not just her, but also my man is playing Samuel Stearns,
- 54:04Speaker 1: the leader. That's what you see in that prison Blake, yes,
- 54:09Speaker 1: Tim Blake, and you hear all ye and they say
- 54:12Speaker 1: that this is we're gonna finally see the leader where
- 54:14Speaker 1: he's gonna turn into the Green some version.
- 54:16Speaker 5: Of the Big Head all that. Yeah, okay and h
- 54:20Speaker 5: then the other side.
- 54:21Speaker 1: The other thing to mention is during that aerial battle
- 54:24Speaker 1: that we see they're fighting around the hand of Tmat,
- 54:29Speaker 1: the celestial that hasn't really been mentioned yet.
- 54:32Speaker 4: Finally.
- 54:34Speaker 1: Yeah, so that basically what The Brave New World is
- 54:37Speaker 1: is talking about all the countries fighting over the remains
- 54:40Speaker 1: of Tmat.
- 54:41Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 54:42Speaker 4: Malcolm was like, we're gonna, we're gonna get this back into.
- 54:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I knew it was coming, and I felt like
- 54:48Speaker 1: people are just rushing it because the other thing is
- 54:51Speaker 1: in the comics, eventually the Avengers at one point take
- 54:54Speaker 1: over a dead celestial's body as their headquarters. Right, so
- 54:58Speaker 1: we're leading towards that probably with the it's just like
- 55:00Speaker 1: it's gonna take a little time. So but here's being
- 55:03Speaker 1: dealt with, and this is the main focus of this film.
- 55:05Speaker 1: So no more complaining that people aren't talking about it,
- 55:08Speaker 1: because it's here.
- 55:09Speaker 2: You know your boy, you know, I know his secret
- 55:11Speaker 2: Anthony Mackie, Captain America's back, and then John Carlo Esposito,
- 55:15Speaker 2: He's Sidewinder.
- 55:17Speaker 1: Yes, uh, thank you for bringing him up, yeah, because
- 55:19Speaker 1: that is one of not my favorite characters from the comics.
- 55:23Speaker 1: But Sidewinder is the leader of the Serpent Society, which
- 55:27Speaker 1: when I was coming up reading comic books, they were
- 55:29Speaker 1: a big part of Captain America and they're basically Sidewinder
- 55:32Speaker 1: is a character who can teleport, right, and he's also
- 55:34Speaker 1: named after a snake. So what he does is gather
- 55:37Speaker 1: up because there used to be the Serpent Squad, which
- 55:39Speaker 1: is a few of them, and another dude, King Kobra,
- 55:42Speaker 1: was their leader. But when Sidewinder, he's like, no, I'm
- 55:44Speaker 1: gonna make a whole society. He gathers up all these
- 55:46Speaker 1: cats who have snake related names, and then he's like, yo,
- 55:49Speaker 1: I can teleport, so if you get locked up, I'll
- 55:51Speaker 1: just teleport you in and grab you out.
- 55:53Speaker 5: So we're gonna be this.
- 55:54Speaker 1: Yeah, we're gonna be this society. And they started wrecking
- 55:57Speaker 1: shop on Captain America for a while, and the Captain
- 55:59Speaker 1: Martic I starts dating one of them named Diamondback. That
- 56:02Speaker 1: was not my favorite, you know couple for a long time.
- 56:05Speaker 1: So yo, I'm hype to see Sidewinder.
- 56:07Speaker 5: Up in here.
- 56:08Speaker 2: Yeah, and of course Harrison Ford as Thunderbolt rows slash
- 56:12Speaker 2: the Red Hulk.
- 56:14Speaker 5: Replacing my man rest in peace.
- 56:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I just I don't know why, Like that says shocking,
- 56:19Speaker 2: Like I did not realize they was bringing back liv Tyler,
- 56:21Speaker 2: Like that's just so randomly, Like it's like from that's
- 56:24Speaker 2: from two thousand and eight Kulk line.
- 56:25Speaker 5: Yeah really, and so is Samuel Sterns. So you know,
- 56:28Speaker 5: I love it because I love the Leader like I
- 56:31Speaker 5: love the Hulk.
- 56:32Speaker 1: Like the Hulk is one of those comics that I
- 56:35Speaker 1: was you know, that's one of my formative experiences.
- 56:37Speaker 5: I've read way too many Wholt comics.
- 56:40Speaker 1: Shout out to Peter David the legend he's actually recovering
- 56:42Speaker 1: from a stroke and doing well these things. So he
- 56:45Speaker 1: wrote like everything that we know about the Hult from
- 56:48Speaker 1: Red to I don't think he did Red, but he
- 56:50Speaker 1: did Bray to Green to Professor Hoult, he did all
- 56:54Speaker 1: of that, and Red Hulk is just you know, extrapolating
- 56:57Speaker 1: off of work he already did. So shout out to
- 56:59Speaker 1: Peter Day. I hope he somehow gets a check out
- 57:01Speaker 1: of this. But yeah, I think I'm hype.
- 57:04Speaker 5: I'm hyped for this one.
- 57:05Speaker 9: February.
- 57:05Speaker 2: I'm there, you know, I'm looking forward to see uh
- 57:10Speaker 2: black Man Captain America and leading an actual movie you
- 57:14Speaker 2: know this time.
- 57:14Speaker 4: So we shall see, we shall see.
- 57:17Speaker 2: And once it's come out February, so we'll probably have
- 57:19Speaker 2: another black president by then.
- 57:21Speaker 4: Great.
- 57:21Speaker 5: Oh like that talk. I like that talk right there,
- 57:25Speaker 5: and continuing on the blackness.
- 57:27Speaker 1: To see this Iron Heart trailer right here, which another
- 57:31Speaker 1: one I forgot.
- 57:32Speaker 5: Honestly, they shot this movie like they.
- 57:34Speaker 4: Shot this movie a million years ago.
- 57:36Speaker 5: Right here we go suit's design.
- 57:42Speaker 4: Shout out to Ryan Cooper.
- 57:46Speaker 6: The bus.
- 57:57Speaker 10: After my internship abroad, I thought, stuck, you are not
- 58:07Speaker 10: the first used.
- 58:08Speaker 9: At the MT you.
- 58:10Speaker 2: Let's give over your classes and the leads University of Resource.
- 58:15Speaker 6: Whatever your dream up, m'a.
- 58:17Speaker 9: Fields something to where it's too late, you're lead.
- 58:26Speaker 4: I mean cash money to do what, a gun.
- 58:32Speaker 9: The tools to help you carry out the vision.
- 58:33Speaker 4: It's cariber.
- 58:35Speaker 9: Any one does that ever accomplished anything?
- 58:37Speaker 5: Aren't coinded in life?
- 58:40Speaker 9: Have to do some personable things to get it done.
- 58:43Speaker 5: Oh about two of these jobs are I didn't come here,
- 58:46Speaker 5: that's the job. Yeah, it's the camere. He was given
- 58:51Speaker 5: com here, so he went around he even got a
- 58:54Speaker 5: hood on him.
- 58:55Speaker 9: He was nothing, how far you know.
- 59:04Speaker 6: What you want? That is?
- 59:08Speaker 11: Yeah, you've officially be money true, dam.
- 59:37Speaker 5: In color.
- 59:40Speaker 6: What are you up to? Uh?
- 59:46Speaker 2: Yeah, what I was saying was I should have said
- 59:48Speaker 2: close enough, welcome back, give here.
- 59:52Speaker 4: That's but I like it.
- 59:53Speaker 2: That's Anthony Ramos. He was Transformers, right, big change the
- 59:59Speaker 2: Black Girl for another.
- 1:00:00Speaker 5: But yeah, I've never been the.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: Biggest fan of Anthony, but in Transformers, I felt like
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: as he gets, as he's getting older, I'm liking him more.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: So I'm excited to see what he does here because Transformers.
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: I like him man, okay, and then Dominique Thorne as
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: we read yep, I'm down for that. This is something
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: like they've been having in the in the Chamber for
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: like the longest and it's just like just pull the
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: trigger already.
- 1:00:22Speaker 5: It kind of feels like that too, because it's like,
- 1:00:24Speaker 5: this is a series, right, this is.
- 1:00:27Speaker 4: A series of six episodes.
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: Yeah, it looks like six right now. Ah, this this
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: has should have been came Let's be honest. This is
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: one of the ones that, like, I this should have
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: could have been And yes, things change slightly in the
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: timeline of Marvel but I don't know what's in this
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: that would have disrupted anything.
- 1:00:44Speaker 4: Else that's been going on.
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: So because it's because it's in a way I am related,
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: you know, maybe because the whole shifting with r DJ,
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: you know, this other stuff and NOOM, they decided to
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: you know, juggle a little bit. But because that's what
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: happened with this, it's gotten what we all noticed, every
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: thing in them, So you got moved around considerably in
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: the last two three years. But yeah, this is just
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: one of the ones where they've been had this done.
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: And it also makes me think like just the creative
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: process and how it comes actually producing these things. And
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: then like as an actor's something you you've filmed five
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: whatever years ago and now it's finally coming out right
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: and it's like, now, how do you feel about getting
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: back into the groove and getting hype about that again?
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: Maybe the love never left you, and maybe you're just like,
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: I'm glad that shit's over with. Like, I'm just interested
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: in how these people feel about this this body of work.
- 1:01:31Speaker 5: Definitely me too.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: I saw on another black related note, I saw Mark
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: Bernering tweeting about the Eyes of Wakanda series and he
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: says that we are not ready for it. Oh yeah,
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: they you know, it feels like the animation side of
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: Marvel right now is like popping.
- 1:01:45Speaker 5: They shit.
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: So the Eyes of Aconda is about the spy situation
- 1:01:49Speaker 4: is of Waconda.
- 1:01:49Speaker 5: I think it's like different. Yeah, I think it's the
- 1:01:51Speaker 5: what do you call it?
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: The like the Door of MILICIAI and other people like
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: out all over the world, you know, and it's animated.
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: I thought that that's the keya then because x Dora,
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: but that's that would be the key is because the
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: key is a spy.
- 1:02:05Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:02:06Speaker 4: So all the people, all the like black people, but I.
- 1:02:09Speaker 5: Can't what they're called. They have names, they're not the white.
- 1:02:13Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: There's another group of catsidy as I embedded all over
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: the world. Yeah yeah, but they're talking. And the board dogs, yes,
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: the boardogs. And then there's also the Peter Parker series
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: that people are saying is red exceptional, the one that's
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: showing the origins of Tom Holland.
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: Okay, because in the last movie he basically started everything over,
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: like yeah, so just.
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: To show him, Tony meets him like those early adventures,
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: and they say it's really good. It's animated as well,
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: so they got to you know, and then what if
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: season three, which needs to step up after everything else, after.
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: Everything yea, what how did you feel since you had
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: that conversation about the animation, how did you feel about
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: animation style?
- 1:02:56Speaker 4: But what if I thought that I loved it.
- 1:02:58Speaker 5: Thought it was great? Yeah, I don't. It's not. And
- 1:03:00Speaker 5: that's not the problem of season too? Is the storytelling?
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: Storytelling? Season two was?
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm sorry, Yeah, I'm sorry Born. All right, this
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: is dar Devil Born again.
- 1:03:14Speaker 4: I'm sorry.
- 1:03:16Speaker 5: Everybody back my girl, everybody? Yeah, here for this list
- 1:03:30Speaker 5: the White Tiger. I think you understand, you know, ain't there?
- 1:03:41Speaker 4: Ain't this a series of thirty episodes or something like that.
- 1:03:43Speaker 5: It's like thirteen something. It's a lot. So yeah, it's
- 1:03:49Speaker 5: the longest fun they've done. I thought it was.
- 1:03:53Speaker 4: Right now is eighteen confirmed?
- 1:03:55Speaker 5: Wow? Oh?
- 1:03:58Speaker 9: The entire systems for the comment of the States. Mysel
- 1:04:03Speaker 9: from David versus Goliath.
- 1:04:06Speaker 4: M mm hmmm, Frank Castle, I'm not.
- 1:04:13Speaker 9: Gonna hatch it down.
- 1:04:20Speaker 5: You see, if you can't go on chat, is that fools?
- 1:04:23Speaker 5: I oh, sometimes peace needs to be broken? Okay, must rain.
- 1:04:39Speaker 9: Don't see, like we really do understand each other. So
- 1:04:44Speaker 9: if you step out of line. I am gonna be there.
- 1:04:49Speaker 9: This caution that you're giving.
- 1:04:50Speaker 6: Me, who's it from.
- 1:04:53Speaker 5: Matt Murdoch or you're darker half.
- 1:04:59Speaker 6: H mm hmm.
- 1:05:19Speaker 5: Good for a lawyer, Dan, really.
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: March Uh, this is gonna be insane.
- 1:05:37Speaker 5: I can't lie. That ship sent chills on my spot.
- 1:05:40Speaker 4: But we know when they talked about it. Why when
- 1:05:44Speaker 4: they said it, they said, these niggas coming back.
- 1:05:47Speaker 5: Yeah, when they got it right, we're gonna go in.
- 1:05:50Speaker 4: This is gonna be insane.
- 1:05:51Speaker 5: Because you know it's so crazy.
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: As you know, they shot two episodes at least of
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: the courtroom drama corny ship with like jokes and everything,
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: and then scrapped it and went back to what you
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: know this movies.
- 1:06:04Speaker 4: They could we don't need We saw the corny court
- 1:06:06Speaker 4: room drama with.
- 1:06:07Speaker 5: With Shihold and that was good for she Hold, But
- 1:06:09Speaker 5: I don't need to see that Matt, Yeah, and that
- 1:06:13Speaker 5: was breaking that.
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: I don't need to see him do that bones breaking
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: Panisha coming out whooping ass.
- 1:06:20Speaker 4: I want to see king Pin, like, I just know this.
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: Is going to be I would even love to see
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: Tatiana show up in this yeah, as Gin and maybe
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: not even transform, but just show her as Jin you know, come.
- 1:06:35Speaker 5: To the court. Yeah, he's in court, and you know,
- 1:06:38Speaker 5: like she comes in dealing with something or you know
- 1:06:40Speaker 5: she helped me the taser. Yeah, like she comes over,
- 1:06:42Speaker 5: you know the New York you know, sleeps over for
- 1:06:44Speaker 5: a night. You know, Oh, you're doing extra.
- 1:06:46Speaker 4: I thought you just met a cameo.
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: No, I mean like she could be because Tatiana can
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: play anything, so she could do this type of drama
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: as well, you know what I mean. And then they
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: can do her and they don't have she doesn't always
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: have to be goofy. She's not always goofy in the comics,
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: so you know that's like they can show different sides.
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: She's not Deadpool where she's always talking to the you know,
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: breaking the fourth wall.
- 1:07:06Speaker 4: I was already screaming John Berethal's name.
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: We know Bernhal, Sorry, we know him as amazing, incredible,
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: Vincent Vincent and Afrio, King Pain.
- 1:07:17Speaker 5: Always Bullseye is in the shot and that he's in
- 1:07:21Speaker 5: the prison.
- 1:07:22Speaker 4: Was playing Bullseye.
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: I can't remember his name, but he was Alter the
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: third ye yeah, yeah, and then the White Tiger, right,
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: that's who that's showing is the White Tiger.
- 1:07:34Speaker 5: Keep sitting on the White Tiger is another character you.
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: Mentioned, your girl You love the Redheads, Karen, I like
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: anyway from True.
- 1:07:45Speaker 5: Blood, right right, man, that's been my heart from day one. Yeah,
- 1:07:49Speaker 5: that's a pretty woman. She's a great actress.
- 1:07:52Speaker 4: After she's really good.
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: And I just like the whole gang back together because
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: I've always a fan of the Daredevil series on Netflix.
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: So it's good that they bring And yes, it is
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: actually eighteen episodes that they're splitting into nine episode halves there,
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: So March one, twenty five, they're gonna do the first
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: nine episodes and then I don't know, like if they're
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: gonna wait like three months or a few months or
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: whatever and they're gonna release the next nine.
- 1:08:15Speaker 5: That's it's gonna be crazy eighteen.
- 1:08:17Speaker 4: But they shot eighteen episodes.
- 1:08:20Speaker 5: I mean that's an arc, all right.
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: I think we got one more before we get up
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: out of here, right, this is the fantastic Fizzo, which
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: I'm I'm hyped. Look, I mean they got a lot
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: of people I loving this joint, so we'll see what
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: we got here.
- 1:08:39Speaker 5: Different aspect, this equation not.
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: Only confirmed ultimate dismensions, it suggests that parallel Earth exists
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: on different dimensional players.
- 1:08:59Speaker 6: Good who wants to see a big explosion?
- 1:09:03Speaker 5: Glasses the best pie in the world right here, that's
- 1:09:14Speaker 5: looking the beach boy, Yes interpretation, here's the kitchen.
- 1:09:22Speaker 10: If you made a boy to have family, didn't at
- 1:09:24Speaker 10: once a week Sunday at eight.
- 1:09:26Speaker 6: On the dark.
- 1:09:27Speaker 5: No matter what we here, girl, he bond.
- 1:09:35Speaker 4: But that's a curby I love and it's a curve that.
- 1:09:40Speaker 5: Dang ground. Glad you know you.
- 1:09:43Speaker 9: Talked to free terrific tollers today, but now it's times
- 1:09:46Speaker 9: I'll make a match.
- 1:09:47Speaker 5: What do you say?
- 1:09:48Speaker 9: Cheese contested number three co trusted.
- 1:09:51Speaker 5: Number of French Shohnny storm. Oh no, its.
- 1:09:59Speaker 6: Not be born.
- 1:10:00Speaker 5: It feels hard.
- 1:10:03Speaker 8: Thank guide me.
- 1:10:03Speaker 5: The flannel.
- 1:10:06Speaker 11: Was never going to stand off. Chuck, Chuck that last
- 1:10:10Speaker 11: time she deserved.
- 1:10:11Speaker 8: My baby brother Jonathan's going and babies.
- 1:10:14Speaker 6: He is very simile.
- 1:10:26Speaker 9: If you don't think one.
- 1:10:27Speaker 5: Guy fucking hell that goes hard. Yeah, and give me
- 1:10:52Speaker 5: some galactus only ship.
- 1:11:00Speaker 4: So we also realize why this is set in the
- 1:11:08Speaker 4: fifties or the.
- 1:11:08Speaker 5: Sixties sixties, in an alternate world. Not on not on
- 1:11:12Speaker 5: the main, not.
- 1:11:19Speaker 4: That goes hard. I like that, I like I like
- 1:11:24Speaker 4: the era. I like you know you know, you know,
- 1:11:28Speaker 4: minus the uh you know how they cheat the black people.
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: I love looking at different eras like that because of
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: the fashion sense and the architecture and the.
- 1:11:39Speaker 4: The different like just just the way like the it's
- 1:11:43Speaker 4: like future.
- 1:11:44Speaker 5: Retro retro, Yeah, retro, it's really cool.
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: Like it's just from a I don't just like you
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: could like everything has a dial and a gadget and
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: a gizmo and a what's it? Right, that's what they
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: call it, right, but it could be doing fantastic things, right,
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: So this shit looks That shit looks hard.
- 1:12:01Speaker 4: I ain't gonna hold you that that jong R.
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: I'm blown away, Like I I knew it was gonna
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: be good because I've heard people talk about how and
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: Fayie is talking about how this is something like one
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: of the more risky themes they did. And like you said,
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: I love that retro future, like the shot of the
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: spaceship where it's some futuristic spaceship but it's nineteen sixties
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: retro future. It's spaceive like it's something that should not
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: exist in the nineteen six exists, but it works. You know,
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: read is there, you know, Yeah, and then you got
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: the old like NASA, you know, dude sitting over the
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: monitors and shit.
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: So it's interesting because it's like it's kind of a
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: mind fucking a bit because when you think of like
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: the old Star Wars movie or even Star.
- 1:12:40Speaker 4: Trek the next generation, they're in the future. That's the
- 1:12:42Speaker 4: old tech future.
- 1:12:43Speaker 5: Yeah, because like.
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: When you look at the newer Star Trek people they
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: look at that like, oh that shit. You know, it's
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: black and white TV, right, and we're sitting here like
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: nigga materialize, I'm nowhere right like it's it's it's really cool.
- 1:12:54Speaker 4: It looks good.
- 1:12:55Speaker 5: I felt like the right stuff.
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: But you know, if you you know the movie to
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: write stuff about the rest, but with you know, this
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: futuristic vibe to it.
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: I need to see Julia Garner at Silver Surfer. When
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: I see her, I'm gonna hit the fucking roof.
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: Look let me, you can see my man's right there, y'all.
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: I don't even need to turn the camera up. I've
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: got like five six more Galactuses. I finally got in
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: touch with this woman who's doing my Galatus mask, so
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: I'm about to have the Galatus mask by the time
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: this movie comes out. It is my obsession with Galatus
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: and Silver Surfer is we No, I mean, I'm just reiterating,
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: I ran into my man. Shout out to the god
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: Ron Limb. Anyone who knows comics, Ron Limb was the
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: one who, like in the eighties nineties, did Silver Surfer,
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: did Galactus. He's the one who illustrated up Infinity Gaun
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: that the one you read, that's Ron Limark. And so
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: Ron Limb is like one of the gods me because
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: he's the one who turned me into this Galatus scene.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: Like that half the second shot, y'all, I'm losing the
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: way his eyes looked everything. That's just the intricacy in
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: the armor of Galactus. That's how I feel, you know,
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: it's like that mc U vibe of Galatis.
- 1:14:04Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: And then, like like you said, Vanessa Kirby is one
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: of the people who is just like I can't imagine
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: meeting her in realize. She is so outraged beautiful on screen,
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: you know, like I can't imagine. Yeah, I can't imagine
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: how she is in person because she is just gorgeous,
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: amazingly talented. The whole four they cast like incredible actors,
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: you know, that's what so wild.
- 1:14:25Speaker 5: It is like incredible cast.
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean down, you're right, because if dude doing
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: the voice of Galactus is a fucking monster in his voice, yeah,
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: it's Galatus without any like addition. So when they start
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: adding the vocal FETs, it's gonna be.
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: And apparently Natasha Leone and John Malcolvich is in this too, Galactic.
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: They are somebody's playing the mold Man allegedly and they're
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: you know, they haven't shown him yet either, and it's
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: a big after playing the mole Man.
- 1:14:54Speaker 5: It might be Malcolm.
- 1:14:56Speaker 4: Yeah, but like listen, listen.
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: And I really respect and liked that they went into
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: this retrol direction because if you look at the other
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: Fantastic Four movies, you know, varying the grease of success there,
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: but they all were like future, you know.
- 1:15:08Speaker 4: They were all like current times.
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: Yeah, and it gave us a cheesy feel versus let's
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: pull it all the way back, make it retro and
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: then almost mimic the original Curd four.
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: I mean, the original Fantas four comes out of nineteen
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: sixty three, and that's the thing. It's like back then,
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: the whole idea of the First Family that was a vibe,
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: you know, the sixties you could get with especially in
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: the White Bread all that. So it works for this
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: because they're family first. And for people who think The
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: Fantasty Four is some corny mess or whatever I tell you,
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: go out right now, you can go. I don't know
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: the author of their latest run, but it's on stands
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: right now. The latest run of The Fantastic Four is
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: one of the best runs of it I've ever read,
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: and I'm a Fantastic Four fan. John Byrne had a
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: legendary run, Hickman did a great one, Mark Wade did
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: another one, and the one on stands right now blows
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: me away every issue where I'm like, yo, this is
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: one of the best books Marvel's putting out. And so
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: it's so great that they've got this great comic right
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: now that you can pick up and get you amped
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: because it gets all the characters so perfectly. And so
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: I think, I mean, I think this should be a
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: huge success in the way people don't get because, like
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: you said, the very ended breast and success. But these
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: are all great characters. Read Richards is one of the
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: most complex characters Marvel has, Sue's storm being his wife
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: and knowing where the fucked up duty is and dealing
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: with him all the time is great. Johnny is such
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: a great character. And then Ben Grimm is like he's
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: Shakespearean levels the tragedy.
- 1:16:29Speaker 4: So you know, oh and that's Ebon. I mean, that's
- 1:16:32Speaker 4: his character.
- 1:16:33Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, that's what I'm saying. Guy. Yeah, and
- 1:16:37Speaker 5: you got the dude who you know had.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: You know, Like I say, again and again, I ball
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: out every time I watch the episode of Forts, just
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: you know, his littlest expressions in that episode send me
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: into tears.
- 1:16:49Speaker 5: So when he loses it and turns.
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: Into the thing, super tragic and then how and his
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: emotions like like like rightfully, so the thing is very
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: emo and he can delivered that very well. And what
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: I've realized is and probably the other reason why they
- 1:17:05Speaker 2: went into this direction because there are a few things,
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: there are a few projects that have really primed MCU
- 1:17:11Speaker 2: and Marvel all that to be okay with taking risks
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: like doing a retro view look at Wanda Vision, the
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: fact that they dabbled stylistically in all sorts of different
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: errors in times, time zones. Look at Loki the TVA
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: itself right like, and this shit worked, this shit worked
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: extremely well. And you saw people were intrigued by that
- 1:17:31Speaker 2: and the whole thing about what we say at a
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: very common denominator, do something different, nigga, right, Like I
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: think that's going to be our other tagline for this show.
- 1:17:38Speaker 4: Do something different.
- 1:17:39Speaker 2: So I really like, how there it just don't look
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: like nothing else in MCU could like look at the
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: I mean.
- 1:17:47Speaker 5: How ridiculously right that trailer was, Like that is great.
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: The technicolor and all that stuff, like, yeah, it don't
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: look like nothing else. So I'm like, okay, we got
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: something here, and of course gat this like of course,
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: of course that is.
- 1:18:02Speaker 4: Insane just to see that. So he was bad enough
- 1:18:06Speaker 4: to see a celestial but to see he was on earth.
- 1:18:11Speaker 5: That the entity the greatest, you know, the living force
- 1:18:15Speaker 5: between death and life.
- 1:18:17Speaker 2: Like one one side note I've always want to say,
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: I still think and I can't wait to see Ebon's
- 1:18:23Speaker 2: version of it. I still think Michael Chickliss is the
- 1:18:26Speaker 2: definitive ben Grim thing I will I will always give
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: him And I think I told him one time at
- 1:18:31Speaker 2: Comic Con that I'm like, bro, you the guy like
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: just like to me, how Wolverine is is Homeboy's Wolverine?
- 1:18:37Speaker 5: You is the thing I think gonna take it, might
- 1:18:41Speaker 5: take you might take.
- 1:18:44Speaker 4: You see my man shining back here? Do you see this?
- 1:18:49Speaker 5: Come on, y'all, y'all gotta understand. My love is insane
- 1:18:53Speaker 5: for the man.
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: I'm gonna have the Mask by the side the movie
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: comes out, so I might, I might go see the
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: movie in the Mask, Dog, I might do.
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: Yeah, obviously I'm crying, screaming off of Pedro Pascal as read.
- 1:19:05Speaker 4: It's just like he's perfect, perfect.
- 1:19:08Speaker 5: And this is the director of the No Way Homes right.
- 1:19:13Speaker 5: This is the same director from Spider Man. You know what.
- 1:19:15Speaker 2: This is the same director of wand Division. If I'm
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: not mistaken, I think the Yeah, Matt Shackman.
- 1:19:22Speaker 4: Okay, Matt Shackman.
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: Did a pretty solid job on WandaVision. Some of the
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: writing was, you know, but the director was all the way.
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: It was either him or I think they're from No
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: Way Home dropping.
- 1:19:33Speaker 2: He's a director, producer known for WandaVision, Game of Thrones
- 1:19:36Speaker 2: eleven and yeah, the great I don't know what the greatest.
- 1:19:40Speaker 5: But but I'm here for it. No.
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: Yeah, that that ships and chows in my spine, like
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: I I you know, casting and now like it really
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: does make me even more. Having seen this, it makes
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: me even more for Robert Downey, especially if the Doom
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: comes from this universe, you know, and it really is Yeah,
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: it really is Doom, you know, like and not you know,
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: Tony Doom.
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I didn't realize this was him. Joseph Quinn. He
- 1:20:09Speaker 2: is from Stranger Things.
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, Donnie Storm. Yeah, another monster of an actor.
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: And you got young Robert Downey junior looking nigga.
- 1:20:24Speaker 5: Robert.
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: They they haven't said if he's in this, but I'm
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: pretty sure he's gonna be in this, Like, even if
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: it's not a big role, even if you.
- 1:20:31Speaker 2: See his eye or something like, They're not gonna do
- 1:20:33Speaker 2: all this announcing all of this around the same time and.
- 1:20:36Speaker 5: Have fantas before not have him in it.
- 1:20:38Speaker 4: So yeah, they're not gonna show Galactis.
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: Yeah, and not show Doom steaming on Galactic Come on, yeah,
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: cause Doom is always steaming on Galastys.
- 1:20:49Speaker 5: Fact, that's so crazy. I mean I knew that it was.
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: Like I said, folks, if you have watched the show longer,
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: but he's probably my favorite character in Marvel, like Galactus
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: is just you know, just one of them. It's just
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: one of my obsessions of life is the lacktic so
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: to see him on screen.
- 1:21:08Speaker 4: So how do you feel about D twenty three this year?
- 1:21:12Speaker 5: I mean, dad alone did it for me, you know.
- 1:21:17Speaker 4: Everything.
- 1:21:17Speaker 5: I'm sorry. You know, I can sit here and complain
- 1:21:19Speaker 5: about all these sequels and all that shit all day,
- 1:21:21Speaker 5: but you showed me Fantastic four and I'm here. I'm here.
- 1:21:26Speaker 4: Yeah, I like that.
- 1:21:27Speaker 2: It's very DSDN do something different, nigga. Yeah, they did,
- 1:21:30Speaker 2: just hit it from me, So I enjoyed joy Again,
- 1:21:34Speaker 2: I didn't. Everything was just like okay, okay, I expect that,
- 1:21:37Speaker 2: to expect that this I did not expect.
- 1:21:39Speaker 4: So this is great.
- 1:21:41Speaker 5: No, fantastic job, y'all.
- 1:21:43Speaker 4: Fantastic four. Yeah, all right, all right, that's everything. Let's
- 1:21:49Speaker 4: talk about you.
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: Yeah, before we get out of here, since we're talking
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: about since we're talking about retro futuristic, you know, because
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: that is something else that is a big element of
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: our book is the retro futuristic sci fi design on
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: a lot of the characters. Jimmy Hendrix, as you can
