- 0:00SPEAKER_06: Okay, I'm gonna switch it up a little bit, Travis.
- 0:03SPEAKER_06: Um have you ever done a paracon?
- 0:06SPEAKER_00: Uh no, I haven't.
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: Uh I mean I I've always been interested in paranormal and stuff, but I mean we really didn't hit the ground running till uh last year.
- 0:15SPEAKER_00: So I mean it it's on our plan too.
- 0:18SPEAKER_00: It's just with our work schedule.
- 0:20SPEAKER_00: Uh me and Justin were in the fire service, so we do 2448 or mandations to kick it back off.
- 0:26SPEAKER_00: So I just actually got off a four-day stretch.
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: Um we want to and everything.
- 0:31SPEAKER_00: I I was looking and everything.
- 0:33SPEAKER_00: I might be able to swing it where I might be able to come out uh next month for you uh to visit you guys and everything.
- 0:40SPEAKER_00: That'd be awesome.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: Just hearing about it and everything.
- 0:44SPEAKER_00: I'm already excited and everything.
- 0:45SPEAKER_00: It's not strictly all paracon related and everything.
- 0:49SPEAKER_00: You're bringing outside vendors in and everything, and one thing that I do like about that is it allows these worlds to meet where you might have some of these vendors that don't believe in the paranormal stuff to actually kind of get to see it's not all bad juju or in the evil and stuff, right?
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: So that's been a big part of the mission, too, is that this being for everybody push set your differences aside.
- 1:15SPEAKER_01: At the end of the day, we're all just good people that want to come together and do good in the world, and that's what my mom was about.
- 1:21SPEAKER_01: She was all about helping literally everyone.
- 1:25SPEAKER_01: She didn't care what walk of like life you walked, she didn't care about your, she didn't care about anything.
- 1:31SPEAKER_01: All she cared about was the here and the now, and making sure that you were okay and that you know we try to be the best versions of ourselves that we can every day, not only just for ourselves, but the person next to us and the person next to them and the person next to them.
- 1:47SPEAKER_01: And she practiced that, she did practice what she preached when it came to that.
- 1:51SPEAKER_01: So that's what I'm trying to fulfill with this event.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: It sounds like you are.
- 1:57SPEAKER_00: I mean, just from hearing it, seeing the passion, uh seeing the passion that you put into it and everything.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: I mean, you're you're definitely carrying on that legacy.
- 2:04SPEAKER_01: Good.
- 2:05SPEAKER_01: I hope I really do hope so.
- 2:08SPEAKER_06: And that's practice what you preach.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 2:11SPEAKER_06: All right, how many people do that nowadays?
- 2:14SPEAKER_06: Not many, not many, about 15%.
- 2:19SPEAKER_05: That is endless.
- 2:21SPEAKER_06: That might be, yeah.
- 2:22SPEAKER_06: I won't say five, but you know, we'll put a run in front of that.
- 2:25SPEAKER_06: That's fine.
- 2:28SPEAKER_06: Yeah, I mean that's people the benefit of the doubt.
- 2:33SPEAKER_01: The ones who are genuine are accused of not actually being genuine.
- 2:36SPEAKER_01: That's the sadder part of about it all.
- 2:38SPEAKER_03: True story.
- 2:40SPEAKER_06: Yeah, but the thing is, is positivity is contagious.
- 2:45SPEAKER_06: Yeah, it is so as long as you stay positive and do the right thing, you will gain two percent negative energy is contagious, also, and that's much faster than positive energy.
- 2:59SPEAKER_01: So we gotta be more positive than negative in this community, and I think we are we try, we try to be as much.
- 3:08SPEAKER_01: I mean, don't get me wrong, there's times that we're not perfect, we're all humans.
- 3:12SPEAKER_01: Um trying to be, you know, seeing the lighter side of things.
- 3:17SPEAKER_01: I'm much better than that than my wife is, but uh that's just because that's how I view life.
- 3:23SPEAKER_01: That's just that's who I am, and I always try to see the better in people and the good, the better outcome, and I am going to continue to be that way no matter what.
- 3:32SPEAKER_06: So yeah, I was I was always raised respect everyone before I meet them.
- 3:38SPEAKER_03: I I yes, agreed with that a thousand percent.
- 3:42SPEAKER_03: That is if you disrespect other ways, hold on, then I don't have to.
- 3:49SPEAKER_06: I mean, I want to tell you right now, if you do disrespect me more than once, you better hold on to your seat because I'm coming for you.
- 4:06SPEAKER_07: Danielle and and Deborah a lot alike, and me and Sean are more on the same pattern.
- 4:12SPEAKER_07: We're kind of okay, that was probably a mistake, and you guys are like, oh hell no, that wasn't a mistake.
- 4:20SPEAKER_07: That and I said disrespect me twice.
- 4:24SPEAKER_07: Yeah, yeah.
- 4:26SPEAKER_07: No, it's that's how it works.
- 4:28SPEAKER_01: Nothing I earned sometimes or a three or four, like it's gotta take a real good big thing, and even then I'm like, okay, I get it.
- 4:38SPEAKER_07: It was it wasn't that bad.
- 4:40SPEAKER_07: Yeah, I I know.
- 4:41SPEAKER_07: Trust me, I'm there.
- 4:43SPEAKER_07: Yeah, and Deb's like, what is wrong with you?
- 4:46SPEAKER_07: Same I had to smack the crap out of you.
- 4:48SPEAKER_07: Get with it.
- 4:49SPEAKER_06: It all depends on the disrespect.
- 4:51SPEAKER_06: I mean, my grandfather taught me, right?
- 4:54SPEAKER_06: Actually, I just wrote a blog today.
- 4:57SPEAKER_06: Very distressful blog.
- 5:00SPEAKER_06: I wrote about my grandfather a story he told me.
- 5:02SPEAKER_06: I'm not gonna get into it because I was at work crying.
- 5:05SPEAKER_06: Okay.
- 5:06SPEAKER_06: So but he did tell me one thing if you piss on me, I will shit on you.
- 5:16SPEAKER_06: So if you disrespect me, I should give me the next t-shirt.
- 5:22SPEAKER_06: So if you disrespect me a little bit, expect worse.
- 5:26SPEAKER_06: Agreed.
- 5:28SPEAKER_01: I can see it now.
- 5:29SPEAKER_01: You piss on me on the back, I shit on you.
- 5:34SPEAKER_01: I want that t-shirt.
- 5:35SPEAKER_03: I want to buy that.
- 5:36SPEAKER_03: You don't want my other shirt?
- 5:38SPEAKER_03: That's awesome though.
- 5:39SPEAKER_03: I'll send you my other shirt.
- 5:41SPEAKER_03: I mean, I do really like that shirt, but I have my very own doll collections.
- 5:45SPEAKER_03: Oh, it's kind of doesn't match.
- 5:48SPEAKER_03: Conflict of interest, conflict of interest.
- 5:52SPEAKER_03: Walk into my doll room, and all my dolls would be like, what the fuck, bitch?
- 5:58SPEAKER_06: It says four cross, society four dolls.
- 6:03SPEAKER_01: I can't wait to see Nacho's reaction when he walks into this doll music.
- 6:07SPEAKER_01: You have you have no idea the types of dolls, you just have no idea.
- 6:12SPEAKER_03: Nobody has we've been talking, like you know what I mean.
- 6:16SPEAKER_01: I'm actually halfway terrified that I have to be a part of setting them up.
- 6:23SPEAKER_03: I mean, you're not gonna be home yet, not until Thursday night, no.
- 6:28SPEAKER_03: Yeah, let's see.
- 6:29SPEAKER_03: Well, and the thing is, you know, like we started bringing some of them out into the world to try to find their humans.
- 6:37SPEAKER_03: Um so like we did.
- 6:41SPEAKER_01: We took about, I want to say 15 to Pennhurst, yeah, and I think all but four of them found new homes.
- 6:49SPEAKER_03: Okay, I mean it's just you know, and I know that they well, some that should never go out into the world, they actually have gone into my doll room.
- 6:59SPEAKER_01: See, my house is full of all the soup.
- 7:01SPEAKER_05: Well, yeah.
- 7:04SPEAKER_05: But why are we talking about dolls?
- 7:08SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 7:09SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
- 7:10SPEAKER_01: Maybe because Nacho has like four or five.
- 7:13SPEAKER_01: There's the one from like that's a doll's house, though.
- 7:18SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 7:19SPEAKER_06: Uh we're gonna give some shout-outs.
- 7:21SPEAKER_07: I'm gonna try to maybe I'll bring her so you guys can see her.
- 7:24SPEAKER_07: Molly's Molly's pretty cool.
- 7:26SPEAKER_07: She's an old gal, but she's pretty cool.
- 7:29SPEAKER_07: I like old gals.
- 7:31SPEAKER_07: Justin and Molly became real best friends.
- 7:33SPEAKER_07: Yeah, they came they came good friends.
- 7:36SPEAKER_07: Oh nice.
- 7:38SPEAKER_07: And then we went and bought some dolls and mailed them to Justin, and he didn't know you're leaving her.
- 7:44SPEAKER_05: Stop.
- 7:46SPEAKER_00: So one of them dolls that we're still trying to figure out because what uh so when Nacho sent them and everything, we done uh live and we opened them up at the broad rail.
- 7:57SPEAKER_00: So Justin get first get the experience.
- 7:59SPEAKER_00: And I thought, you know, he was just kind of playing into his fear and everything, but there's uh the personal one, nice white dress and everything.
- 8:07SPEAKER_00: He's like, Man, I I'm getting a strong smell of perfume.
- 8:09SPEAKER_00: I'm like, I'm I'm not smelling nothing.
- 8:12SPEAKER_00: He sets it down and everything.
- 8:13SPEAKER_00: I pick it up to show show it off to the life feed better and everything, and all of a sudden I'm getting a strong perfume smell.
- 8:20SPEAKER_00: I'm like, all right, set it down and everything, and it goes away.
- 8:25SPEAKER_00: Two days later, I run into the owner and everything, and I'm telling him about the experience.
- 8:29SPEAKER_00: He's like, Oh, I'm glad you actually mentioned that.
- 8:31SPEAKER_00: I'm like, all right, well, why?
- 8:33SPEAKER_00: He's like, I gotta go get more air fresheners for the house.
- 8:35SPEAKER_00: So there's a team coming in, and all the air fresheners are out.
- 8:38SPEAKER_00: I'm like, okay, so the perfume spells not coming from the house at all.
- 8:45SPEAKER_00: That's more weird.
- 8:49SPEAKER_00: I mean, Nacho did warn us, he can't guarantee they there might not have been anything with it.
- 8:55SPEAKER_01: So man.
- 9:00SPEAKER_06: All right, let's talk guests.
- 9:02SPEAKER_06: Let's get into some guests here.
- 9:04SPEAKER_06: Um, you talked about guests earlier, but who do you have coming on?
- 9:09SPEAKER_01: Oh boy, all right.
- 9:10SPEAKER_01: So we have uh Patty Negri, of course.
- 9:12SPEAKER_01: We have the blue Bodie, we have Santiago Cirillo, um, Ernie Atwell, uh very close friend of my mom's.
- 9:21SPEAKER_01: Oh boy, James Stokes for He's.
- 9:24SPEAKER_01: Um, let's see, we have Frank, the tattoo medium from Johnstown coming in.
- 9:30SPEAKER_01: Um, we also have Mary Joe Chudley, the amazing doll um artist, uh Larissa Rex from the Haunted Mafia Third Eye Event Productions.
- 9:43SPEAKER_01: Um oh lord.
- 9:46SPEAKER_01: Help me nachho.
- 9:47SPEAKER_01: Help, help me notcho.
- 9:50SPEAKER_06: I'm looking he's looking it up right now.
- 9:52SPEAKER_06: I guess he just got it.
- 9:54SPEAKER_06: Um let's talk about Frank the tattoo guy.
- 9:59SPEAKER_01: Uh Bianca Rose, Bianca Rose, of course.
- 10:03SPEAKER_01: Um, oh yeah, Frank's tattoo medium.
- 10:06SPEAKER_01: Amazing.
- 10:06SPEAKER_01: So you basically can pay to have a tattoo done, and he gives you a reading from your loved ones.
- 10:13SPEAKER_01: Incredible.
- 10:14SPEAKER_03: Wow, you're getting tattooed.
- 10:18SPEAKER_01: Um, he's actually going to do tattoos during the day um of the festival, and then he is also going to do private tattoo and readings at the DOS house on Sunday.
- 10:27SPEAKER_01: So you have the two days that you can choose to book appointments with him.
- 10:33unknown: Okay.
- 10:33SPEAKER_01: Who did I miss, Nacho?
- 10:36SPEAKER_07: It was my castro, I see.
- 10:38SPEAKER_01: Michael Castro.
- 10:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 10:40SPEAKER_01: Irene.
- 10:41SPEAKER_01: Irene.
- 10:42SPEAKER_01: How did I not?
- 10:43SPEAKER_01: Irene.
- 10:44SPEAKER_01: There's so many.
- 10:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah, there is.
- 10:47SPEAKER_01: That should be about it.
- 10:49SPEAKER_06: So I mean, how's this working?
- 10:51SPEAKER_06: Are you gonna have like are they gonna speak at all?
- 10:53SPEAKER_01: Or yeah, I'm gonna be putting that together next week.
- 10:56SPEAKER_01: We'll probably only have four guest speakers last year.
- 10:58SPEAKER_01: Guest speaking was a total flop.
- 11:01SPEAKER_01: Uh, nobody, everybody was so overwhelmed by being able to be in that facility and with something actually happening there, um, that nobody, not a single person showed up for guest speaking.
- 11:16SPEAKER_01: So um, we'll probably have four.
- 11:18SPEAKER_01: Um, Ernie Atwell is actually going to be doing some really he's writing a new book.
- 11:23SPEAKER_01: Um, it's it's awesome about uh divine order and things like that.
- 11:29SPEAKER_01: Um, he's a very spiritual guy.
- 11:31SPEAKER_01: So probably him.
- 11:33SPEAKER_01: Other than that, as far as events go, um, there'll be things happening both Friday night, Saturday night, and then obviously Sunday during the day at the DOS house and the old stone jail.
- 11:44SPEAKER_01: It's kind of confusing to people because there's so much floating out around out there right now.
- 11:49SPEAKER_01: Um is the doll event on Friday at the DOS.
- 11:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so Mary Joe's doll event will be at noon on Friday at the DOS house.
- 11:57SPEAKER_01: Um it just seemed to work better that way because a lot of moms, close friends and family who wanted to participate couldn't because everybody's vending.
- 12:06SPEAKER_01: So we moved that to Friday uh during the day.
- 12:09SPEAKER_01: As far as Friday night of events at the DOS house, Friday is the Jason Voorhees experience.
- 12:14SPEAKER_01: Super stoked about that.
- 12:16SPEAKER_01: Over at the jail on Friday will be from 8 to 9:30 is table tipping featuring special guest Irene.
- 12:22SPEAKER_01: Um she does like the sketch gallery.
- 12:25SPEAKER_01: Hey! Um sketch gallery.
- 12:31SPEAKER_01: Everybody, come on, hey, wash!
- 12:34SPEAKER_05: She's gone.
- 12:36SPEAKER_01: Um, and then we have I put together a four-corner sand, so we're gonna try for the first time this year um connecting with uh the guests, loved ones at the table from four actual different psychic mediums.
- 12:50SPEAKER_01: Patty Negri, um, Patty Negri, the blue boatie, Bianca Rose, and Candy.
- 12:56SPEAKER_01: Um, I'm actually really looking forward to that to see how that is able to come together.
- 13:01SPEAKER_01: Um, Saturday night, open investigations with some celebrity guests at the jail, private event with Patty Negri at the DOS house, uh, sold out in a day.
- 13:10SPEAKER_01: We that sold out in a day last year as well.
- 13:12SPEAKER_01: That's gonna be pretty incredible.
- 13:14SPEAKER_01: Um, and then so there's the public events table tipping, of course, all day during the festival.
- 13:22SPEAKER_01: That is 100% free.
- 13:24SPEAKER_01: You you hit up the RHU and sign up.
- 13:27SPEAKER_01: They take four groups of five throughout the day.
- 13:30SPEAKER_01: It's free.
- 13:31SPEAKER_01: If you love it or you don't know anything about it, come and check it out.
- 13:36SPEAKER_01: Those people meant the world to my mom.
- 13:38SPEAKER_01: Um, so that's an important thing for us as well.
- 13:41SPEAKER_01: And they're amazing people, they really are.
- 13:44SPEAKER_01: Um, Jen, Jim, and Bob from the historic Hoover House out there in Waynesboro.
- 13:50SPEAKER_01: I'm not sure if Mike's coming or not.
- 13:52SPEAKER_01: I think that's it for events.
- 13:55SPEAKER_01: I'm sure I missed something.
- 13:57SPEAKER_01: It's fine, right?
- 13:59SPEAKER_02: Isn't there a public and is there a public investigation something now?
- 14:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah, there's just the the oh the investigations that you can join your your favorite celebrity guest if you want to to investigate the jail.
- 14:12SPEAKER_01: But yeah, that's about it.
- 14:14SPEAKER_06: Nacho, you're doing some podcast area on the second floor of the from like 11 45 till 3 30.
- 14:23SPEAKER_07: I mean, every 15 or 20 minutes, another person's popping in, and Shauna came up with this list, and I was like, holy crap! Hey, it's for everybody.
- 14:36SPEAKER_07: Yeah, I was totally blown away.
- 14:40SPEAKER_03: You're gonna be busy, yeah.
- 14:42SPEAKER_01: Yes, yeah.
- 14:45SPEAKER_01: I mean, but think of it this way: how many opportunities have you had to actually interview that, you know, that's what it's all about.
- 14:52SPEAKER_01: Getting right, helping and supporting you as well, and getting these people on your on your podcast.
- 15:00SPEAKER_01: That's amazing.
- 15:01SPEAKER_01: That's how I mean it's because we love and adore you and we support you as well.
- 15:05SPEAKER_06: So I'm gonna tell you right now, Nacho, Blue Bodie.
- 15:08SPEAKER_06: You're gonna say, Hey, this is Blue Bodie, and that's the last words you're gonna say.
- 15:12SPEAKER_07: I I've I've I've seen plenty of podcasts with her on it, but you know what?
- 15:16SPEAKER_07: Those are my favorite kind.
- 15:18SPEAKER_07: I I want them to talk, I want them to talk about themselves.
- 15:21SPEAKER_07: Don't leave it up to me to ask the dumb question.
- 15:23SPEAKER_07: Right, you give me what you want me to know, and man, that's the less I have to talk, the better off everybody else is.
- 15:31SPEAKER_06: Yeah, I do love your voice though.
- 15:33SPEAKER_01: You haven't met in person yet?
- 15:36SPEAKER_06: Oh my god, no.
- 15:37SPEAKER_07: Well, no, that's not true.
- 15:38SPEAKER_07: I met her at one of the paracons.
- 15:44SPEAKER_07: Was it Gettysburg?
- 15:46SPEAKER_07: Maybe it was Gettysburg.
- 15:48SPEAKER_07: Because it was just before the reliquary opened, and she she's like, Oh, here's my and she gave me your number right away.
- 15:54SPEAKER_07: I think it was Gettysburg, and she gave me her phone number, and I still have it.
- 15:58SPEAKER_07: I've never called her, uh but um, yeah, she's like, you know, we had a great 15 or 20 minute discussion, but there's so many people there, right?
- 16:07SPEAKER_07: You know, you just kind of kind of move on, but she knows who you are because I talk to her about you often.
- 16:15SPEAKER_07: When she was on Ryan's podcast, she was like, Yeah, I don't think we met.
- 16:18SPEAKER_07: I'm like, we did, but it was only for a minute, and don't feel bad about that.
- 16:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah, she's like, who she was like, Who's Nacho again?
- 16:27SPEAKER_01: Um I have to remind her, and then I'd bring you up again.
- 16:30SPEAKER_06: She'd be like, Medisburg guy, yes, she's all over.
- 16:35SPEAKER_06: I mean she's busy, she's busy every day, all day.
- 16:39SPEAKER_06: It's unbelievable.
- 16:39SPEAKER_06: Like, she's like, Message me, message me.
- 16:42SPEAKER_06: I'm like, I think what I did an hour 50 minutes with her on a podcast.
- 16:48SPEAKER_01: Oh, you can get her though.
- 16:50SPEAKER_06: I don't keep on going.
- 16:54SPEAKER_06: Right after, she's like, I gotta come back on.
- 16:56SPEAKER_06: I'm like, okay, like sweet, like that's cool.
- 17:02SPEAKER_06: But I'm gonna have to listen to the whole podcast again because I have no idea where we stopped.
- 17:07SPEAKER_06: Because I'm like, we're an hour 50 minutes of this thing, like sooner or later we gotta stop.
- 17:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but I mean she had a blast though, she had she had a lot of fun doing that with you.
- 17:17SPEAKER_06: Um, she uh it freaks me out a little bit, you know, about the tattoos.
- 17:23SPEAKER_06: Like I have no design I have a dragon on my right shoulder, she has one on her left.
- 17:32SPEAKER_06: Uh but I said my mom had a purple rose, and she's like, Don't tell me it's on her right back.
- 17:39SPEAKER_06: I'm like, son of a bitch.
- 17:42SPEAKER_06: Yes, it was.
- 17:44SPEAKER_06: So that's same age, same everything.
- 17:49SPEAKER_06: It was she's unbelievable, but again, impossible to get a hold of.
- 17:54SPEAKER_01: Yes, very true.
- 17:56SPEAKER_01: She's very busy and very I should call her and be like, bitch, these people said it's Microsoft.
- 18:05SPEAKER_05: I'm not sucked for that.
- 18:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah, she messaged me.
- 18:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah, good.
- 18:09SPEAKER_01: She messaged me right before the podcast, whining about how hot it is down there in Oklahoma, and that she's melting and help me, and I can't survive.
- 18:19SPEAKER_01: The air conditioning isn't keeping up.
- 18:21SPEAKER_01: I can't wait to move up there where it's cold.
- 18:26SPEAKER_06: Yeah, she I jumped on her tick tock, so it's funny.
- 18:29SPEAKER_06: Sorry, get off track here, everybody.
- 18:31SPEAKER_06: But uh then she messaged me, do you want a rating for this much?
- 18:35SPEAKER_06: I'm like, you know, I'll buy some like gravestone stuff.
- 18:38SPEAKER_06: Like, and she's like, blah blah blah.
- 18:39SPEAKER_06: I'm like, blue, that's me, right?
- 18:42SPEAKER_01: That was a scammer, yeah.
- 18:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'm like, no, it happens a lot.
- 18:48SPEAKER_01: As soon as she makes communication with somebody, and then they see that she's starting to communicate with somebody, then the scammers try to hit everybody up because that happened to Dave Grant, shouldn't it happen to me?
- 18:59SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it happened to you.
- 19:00SPEAKER_01: Oh, every time, all the time it happens.
- 19:03SPEAKER_06: Well, Ian tell because she has like 635,000 followers on TikTok.
- 19:07SPEAKER_01: Davis, the owner of the jail.
- 19:08SPEAKER_01: He's like, I almost sent money.
- 19:10SPEAKER_06: I'm like, no, no, you don't like, but I mean you just gotta click on a profile, like yeah, you have 800 followers.
- 19:18SPEAKER_06: I know blue has over 600,000, so yeah, yeah, you know, feature feet here.
- 19:23SPEAKER_06: We don't I don't want nothing to do with you.
- 19:25SPEAKER_01: Yep, yeah.
- 19:28SPEAKER_06: All right, Travis.
- 19:30SPEAKER_06: Come on, man.
- 19:30SPEAKER_06: You gotta speak here.
- 19:32SPEAKER_07: I'm just talking.
- 19:34SPEAKER_00: I mean, so I mean, I I mean yeah, uh I mean this really dealing with paracon and well, I mean it's parrelated, but what got you guys into this and everything?
- 19:48SPEAKER_00: You said you've been a big fan of the paranormal stuff, so what kind of got you into it?
- 19:54SPEAKER_01: I never was a huge fan of paranormal.
- 19:56SPEAKER_01: Oh, okay.
- 19:57SPEAKER_01: Um my mother, my mother was the paranormal, she had abilities.
- 20:02SPEAKER_01: Um, I literally was the kid for most of my life that went to do these things with her, but literally thought she was full of shit.
- 20:11SPEAKER_01: Like, that's just the honest to God's truth, right?
- 20:14SPEAKER_01: Like, I was like constantly trying to debunk things and watching, like, just I mean, I would it was okay because I was hanging out with my mom, but at the same time, I was like, What are y'all people talking about?
- 20:28SPEAKER_00: So it wasn't until you get these buildings at two in the morning, yeah.
- 20:33SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 20:34SPEAKER_01: So, you know, and she would always say, you know, how she communicated with the dead, and you know, all with in spirits and da da da.
- 20:42SPEAKER_01: And I was like, Yeah, okay.
- 20:44SPEAKER_01: Like, I I have absolutely basically no religious background, so it's it wasn't coming from there, it was just like my mom talks of spirits, yeah, okay.
- 20:55SPEAKER_01: So that's how it started for me.
- 20:57SPEAKER_01: Um, as I became an adult, and you know, becoming an adult, you grow and you mature and you see things differently, and you start losing people in your life, and that changes you and opens your eyes to the possibilities of different things, and unexplained things start happening to you that you start paying closer attention to.
- 21:16SPEAKER_01: Um, so I I was probably in my early 30s when I actually was doing these things with her and actually started investing and being open to the ideas of all of these things, and truly started enjoying the paranormal community with her.
- 21:31SPEAKER_01: So that's how it started.
- 21:33SPEAKER_01: This journey for us with unique paranormal 1.5, the DOS house, and now the Parafestival didn't come until after my mother's passing.
- 21:43SPEAKER_01: Uh, she was diagnosed with stage four bone cancer, literally sped seven weeks um with us, and Danielle and I took care of her until she passed away.
- 21:55SPEAKER_01: So, this was a way, it's it's become my grief journey, to be honest with you.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: Biggest loss of my life.
- 22:01SPEAKER_01: Didn't know how to deal with that.
- 22:03SPEAKER_01: My mother was my best friend.
- 22:05SPEAKER_01: And this has been an outlet for me to deal with that.
- 22:11SPEAKER_01: And it's kind of become a new slogan for me of you know, turning your pain into power, turning a negative into a positive.
- 22:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 22:20SPEAKER_01: So she's the reason for all of this.
- 22:23SPEAKER_01: So her things that she has left undone has now given me new purpose in doing all this kind of stuff.
- 22:30SPEAKER_01: So yeah.
- 22:32SPEAKER_00: I just want to say I'm sorry to hear hear about your mother and everything.
- 22:36SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 22:38SPEAKER_06: Do you believe she's still with you though?
- 22:40SPEAKER_01: So here's a funny thing.
- 22:43SPEAKER_01: I get little inclinations that she's here.
- 22:46SPEAKER_01: She will never talk to me.
- 22:49SPEAKER_01: So if we go somewhere, like I know she's there.
- 22:52SPEAKER_01: Every investigation we go on, like I sense her presence there.
- 22:56SPEAKER_01: Um, but it usually takes somebody else saying, Hey Mama Holly, or hey Holly, are you here?
- 23:01SPEAKER_01: And everything lights up, or something specific that she had always said happens, then you know it's that that clarification that I'm just like, okay, yeah, you didn't listen to me when you were alive, you're definitely not gonna listen to me now, so we're good.
- 23:21SPEAKER_03: True.
- 23:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's very it's it's it's very humbling to be honest, honest with you.
- 23:26SPEAKER_01: It really is, and you know, people ask me all the time, like, why are you doing this?
- 23:32SPEAKER_01: And you know, we have we're in Loreto, very Catholic town, and you know, I try to explain to them wholeheartedly and humbly why I'm doing this.
- 23:41SPEAKER_01: Um, and it's the truth behind it all is if you have lost somebody so dear to you, and you had the opportunity to hear from them for a half of a second, it's worth it's worth it all in the end, for that half of a second just to hear their voice, smell their smell, and if it is possible, why not test every avenue and every boundary scientifically, paranormally, feeling-wise, to see if you can possibly reach that.
- 24:14SPEAKER_01: That to me is why I do this.
- 24:18SPEAKER_01: I mean, that's a really good thing to meet some pretty cool people, so that's bonus.
- 24:24SPEAKER_07: Well, I I I never got to meet your mom, but I can tell you without a doubt she is so proud of you because the everything that you've done, you've done out of love for her, and that's just freaking amazing.
- 24:40SPEAKER_07: Thank you.
- 24:40unknown: Thank you.
- 24:42SPEAKER_07: You touch a lot of people, and that's that's not something that a lot of people can do.
- 24:48SPEAKER_07: I mean, it's you you've you've got the gift to to reach people, and you probably got it from her, so I sure hope so.
- 24:59SPEAKER_01: I know I'll never be her, but I strive to spread kindness like she did for sure.
- 25:04SPEAKER_07: Right.
- 25:04SPEAKER_07: I mean as long as you're being true to yourself.
- 25:07SPEAKER_07: 100%.
- 25:12SPEAKER_06: I said I wrote that blog today and I told a story about my grandfather that I've never revisited since that day.
- 25:22SPEAKER_06: And it was so emotional to me.
- 25:26SPEAKER_06: It was unbelievable.
- 25:29SPEAKER_06: And I mean, I'll tell you, I I didn't post yet on my um website yet, but it's called I'll Never Forget.
- 25:40SPEAKER_06: And like like I'm tearing up now, thinking about it.
- 25:44SPEAKER_06: It was so it was so emotionally rough.
- 25:50SPEAKER_06: And when we do investigations, even when we're not talking about family members, we get that like that too.
- 25:58unknown: Yeah.
- 26:01SPEAKER_06: And a lot of people don't understand that about the paranormal community, how emotionally involved we get with our feelings.
- 26:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 26:09SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 26:10SPEAKER_01: Well, and and assisting every spiritual energy that we come in contact with.
- 26:15SPEAKER_01: I mean, even if you don't know them, your heart still yearns to want to help them.
- 26:19SPEAKER_01: I can't tell you how many times we've come across energies that have needed help or have expressed that they're stuck, or you know, it's it's all about doing what's right and trying to do good or do better, right?
- 26:34SPEAKER_01: No matter living or not living, you know, and doing what you know feels comfortable for you and your healing process.
- 26:42SPEAKER_06: That's that's correct, and and that's one reason why we you know kind of pull towards charities too, because we're you know, even though we're trying to help the passing, yeah.
- 26:55SPEAKER_06: We're also actually trying to help the living too.
- 26:57SPEAKER_01: 100%.
- 27:00SPEAKER_01: 100%.
- 27:01SPEAKER_01: That's why we actually have started um going out to cemeteries to show thanks, like because we we feel, and not everybody does or has to, obviously, um, that a cemetery is for the living.
- 27:14SPEAKER_01: It's for you to go and you know honor those who are no longer with us physically.
- 27:19SPEAKER_01: And we spend just stopping at random cemeteries and you know, leaving flowers to um several, several people who have been laid to rest.
- 27:28SPEAKER_01: They're just you know, thanking them and telling them that we love them at the not forgotten and cleaning off their headstones or marking graves that are unmarked with you know a flower or a flag or something like that.
- 27:40SPEAKER_01: That's that's also something else that's become very important to us because we are in this every day, you know, but you know, basically demanding or sometimes, you know, over almost overstimulating ourselves and spirit by communicating with them all the time.
- 27:56SPEAKER_01: It's the least we can do is to show a little thanks and stop in and do some do some of that.
- 28:04SPEAKER_06: That's that's yeah, you kind of just want to say that you know you're remembered, yeah, exactly.
- 28:14SPEAKER_06: Yep.
- 28:15SPEAKER_06: I mean that's what it's all about, is that your memory still lives on.
- 28:19SPEAKER_03: Yes, yeah, just because your vessel is gone doesn't mean that your energy isn't still here, correct?
- 28:25SPEAKER_01: Right, yeah, yeah, and that's basically what we say, you know, we're here to let you know that you're not forgotten and you are loved, and we we appreciate you, and yeah.
- 28:36SPEAKER_07: All right, so you know it.
- 28:37SPEAKER_07: I think that if you if you really look around the paranormal community, there's a small group of people that feel like this, right?
- 28:45SPEAKER_07: That we're we're here for the spirits.
- 28:49SPEAKER_07: There's a whole bunch of them that are here to make a video, to get clicks, to try to become famous, to to oh, look what I discovered.
- 29:00SPEAKER_07: And you know, if if that's what you want to do, fine.
- 29:06SPEAKER_07: But I gravitate to these kind of people right here that these spirits are just they're just they're no different than us.
- 29:15SPEAKER_07: They still crave that attention.
- 29:17SPEAKER_07: And if and if you can give them a little bit of attention, you can get a little bit back, you've done something, and it and it should always be about the spirits, and it should never be about, oh, I'm trying to make a video or I'm trying to make money.
- 29:29SPEAKER_07: You can make a video of it, but do it for the right reasons.
- 29:32SPEAKER_07: And I think there's so many people in this community that don't really understand that.
- 29:38SPEAKER_07: And and I see I've I've I've been to several Paranormal 101s, and they give you how to do this ghost hunting, and and but no not one person has ever stopped and said, Hey, you know what?
- 29:51SPEAKER_07: When you encounter spirits, now I don't want to say nobody because I I Zach is one that always says thank you, make sure you thank them for their time and that you appreciate them.
- 30:03SPEAKER_07: Um, so Zach from Alone in the Dark is one person that says that, but nobody really steps up and says, Hey, you know, this is really about these spirits, and you know, it's not about you.
- 30:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 30:18SPEAKER_06: I agree and disagree with you, Nacho.
- 30:22SPEAKER_06: Because that's what I that's what I do, right?
- 30:24SPEAKER_06: I mean, I started this podcast last July.
- 30:30SPEAKER_06: Um, I thought I was gonna run into a whole bunch of crazy laffers, like crystal loving, moon water, whatever you want to talk about.
- 30:41SPEAKER_06: And I am surprised of how many people are like what Nacho said that care.
- 30:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I thought I was gonna run into like some like some way out there, people, because that's what you own a haunted location or run a parafest, and you will definitely think differently.
- 31:04SPEAKER_01: You will definitely run into those of these back biggins.
- 31:07SPEAKER_06: I'm not saying I never ran into those people, I'm saying the majority do care.
- 31:12SPEAKER_07: Oh, yeah.
- 31:13SPEAKER_07: I I don't think it's the majority.
- 31:16SPEAKER_07: I'm with Macho.
- 31:18SPEAKER_07: Yeah, it's it's I don't I don't think it's anywhere near the majority.
- 31:22SPEAKER_00: No, but I'll I I I kind of want to say, Ryan, I think also a lot of the people that you kind of put in the that category that is doing it for the likes, clicks, or trying to make the money, I don't see them kind of reaching out because it's not gonna it's not gonna get them benefits.
- 31:39SPEAKER_00: Most likely, if you if you would hit one of them up if you didn't do your research, they're gonna look and kind of see, nah, this ain't gonna be good for my crowd.
- 31:48SPEAKER_00: Stuff.
- 31:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 31:49SPEAKER_00: I mean it it it's either way and everything, but like uh what Nature talked about thinking, like when we done uh we brought him to our our uh base camp, uh the Broadboro Funeral home in uh southern Ohio.
- 32:02SPEAKER_00: And when we got there, me and Justin was setting up our DVR cameras and everything, and you know, talking to the spirits, they know us pretty well and everything.
- 32:10SPEAKER_00: It's like, hey, we're bringing in people in uh a great team in.
- 32:13SPEAKER_00: They're just like us, they want to know your story and everything.
- 32:16SPEAKER_00: And I mean, Nacho could sit there and vouch and Deborah's in the chat.
- 32:21SPEAKER_00: I mean, the activity that we got that night was amazing, and the best one was when we was getting ready to go to bed, and we turned our cameras off and everything.
- 32:31SPEAKER_00: I had the mag light set it up around 9.30, 10 o'clock at night on the fireplace mantle, and it was activating it, communicating with it, and by this time it hasn't like been off for over an hour, and uh we're we're just talking and stuff, and next thing you know, that mag light turned on full blown, bright as it can be, rolled six inches to the left, and rolled right back to its original spot, turned back off.
- 32:58SPEAKER_00: That's amazing.
- 32:59SPEAKER_00: Like it wanted it wanted attention because we was no longer communicating with them and everything, and then of course, when we went to bed, they made sure that hey, we're not done with you guys.
- 33:11SPEAKER_00: I mean, there was numerous times we heard full-blown conversations upstairs, we heard a door close or open, um yeah, walking.
- 33:22SPEAKER_00: Um Nacho mentioned because especially like uh we uh we're trying to sit that we have to buy a bigger hard drive to download all of our camera footage because it recorded for almost 12 hours.
- 33:38SPEAKER_00: So um, but like there was one time uh Nacho mentioned before we go to bed, our the owner of the place, he always turns the radio on before teams come in because they enjoy it, gets them going and stuff.
- 33:49SPEAKER_00: He's like, let's play that and everything, you know, maybe kind of tune them out and everything.
- 33:54SPEAKER_00: No, there was a couple times that uh it sounded like they was singing along to some of the songs too.
- 33:59SPEAKER_07: They turned the damn music up too.
- 34:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah, because we we had it like just just enough where we can kind of hear it and everything and kind of drive on everything out, and then uh there was one time, it was I think it was like four o'clock in the morning, they turned it up because it was this just like some some song where the guy was going crazy on the banjo and everything, and then you it was the hill the hillbilliest music you've ever heard.
- 34:21SPEAKER_07: It was like straight out of deliverance, man.
- 34:24SPEAKER_07: Yes, I woke up and I'm like, holy crap, where am I?
- 34:30SPEAKER_01: That's what that sounds like.
- 34:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so it kind of sounds like make me talk to the DOS house.
- 34:35SPEAKER_01: Kinda, yeah.
- 34:36SPEAKER_00: But like uh once we left and everything, I mean uh before I even left, uh uh like I give this feel like you guys are supposed to stay here, but like also like can't thank you guys enough for the the activity you give DOS and everything.
- 34:50SPEAKER_00: They didn't have to and everything, and uh, we just knew a lot of times.
- 34:54SPEAKER_00: I mean, when we started this going to that location, I mean it it took us about five investigations really to get them to open up to us and stuff.
