- 0:02Speaker 1: Yesterday I was on the couch with my wife Corey,
- 0:04Speaker 1: and I felt my twenty four week old daughter I
- 0:09Speaker 1: do a little.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Kick twenty four weeks in you to row, that's right?
- 0:13Speaker 1: Yeah, And Corey was watching this show. I can never
- 0:16Speaker 1: remember what is it like? Don't let age be the distraction?
- 0:20Speaker 1: What's the show called?
- 0:22Speaker 2: Now? It's what's it's called? Age of Attraction?
- 0:28Speaker 3: Yeah, that's right.
- 0:29Speaker 1: And it's basically about how all these people go to
- 0:33Speaker 1: this like camp resort thing and you just find out
- 0:39Speaker 1: who you're interested in, who you're not interested in. And
- 0:41Speaker 1: there's only one rule in this show. You cannot ask
- 0:45Speaker 1: the other person's age. Yes, And so of course there
- 0:48Speaker 1: are people around the same age. And I don't want
- 0:50Speaker 1: to spoil the show, but I'm going to talk about
- 0:53Speaker 1: it a little bit. There's of course people around the
- 0:55Speaker 1: same age who become attracted to each other and YadA, YadA, YadA,
- 0:58Speaker 1: and then the show goes.
- 0:59Speaker 3: Man, don't need you anymore.
- 1:00Speaker 1: So what they do as they follow these couples who
- 1:04Speaker 1: have quite an age gap yesterday, quite an age gap,
- 1:08Speaker 1: excuse me. And yesterday, while watching this show, I had
- 1:12Speaker 1: to have a conversation with my twenty four in uter
- 1:15Speaker 1: a week old daughter and say, could you just please
- 1:18Speaker 1: please wait till your thirty. I don't care what you
- 1:20Speaker 1: do when you're thirty. I don't hear who you date,
- 1:22Speaker 1: don't It does not matter to me, could you not?
- 1:25Speaker 1: I don't want to see you on this show when
- 1:26Speaker 1: you're twenty four?
- 1:27Speaker 4: Okay, so that's the thing I am in an age
- 1:30Speaker 4: gap relationship. Mikey is twenty two years older than me. However,
- 1:35Speaker 4: when he and I got together, I was well into
- 1:39Speaker 4: my thirties and very well in Okay, you.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Even have to add the very So there is an
- 1:45Speaker 2: age gap there.
- 1:46Speaker 4: But I was fully an adult, like the frontal lobe
- 1:50Speaker 4: or whatever it is, fully developed for some time, Like
- 1:53Speaker 4: I was an adult adult, and so.
- 1:56Speaker 2: I'm very cool with age gap relationships.
- 1:58Speaker 4: Clearly, I've always been attracted to older men, like that's
- 2:02Speaker 4: my vibe. But when I see the big age gaps
- 2:06Speaker 4: and it's someone in their twenties, especially before age twenty
- 2:11Speaker 4: five with someone who's in their late forties or fifties
- 2:14Speaker 4: or sixties, like that seems like a red flag to me.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Well, I don't get it.
- 2:20Speaker 4: I feel like, as the dude, don't you see someone
- 2:22Speaker 4: that young and like you picture them as like a child.
- 2:26Speaker 2: It's like seeing a child.
- 2:28Speaker 4: I can't imagine right now, at my big old age
- 2:30Speaker 4: of thirty eight, I can't imagine seeing like a twenty
- 2:33Speaker 4: one year.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Old dude and being like, oh yeah, I want to date.
- 2:37Speaker 2: It's like, that sounds so weird to me. Gabe, you're
- 2:41Speaker 2: thirty what five thirty five? Do you see? Would you
- 2:44Speaker 2: see yourself dating? Obviously, this is in like.
- 2:47Speaker 4: You know, fake land, where you're not married and you
- 2:49Speaker 4: don't have a kid on the way. Could you, as
- 2:51Speaker 4: a thirty five year old man seriously date a woman
- 2:54Speaker 4: who is in her twenties early twenties.
- 2:57Speaker 3: Early no shot?
- 2:59Speaker 5: Right?
- 3:00Speaker 1: And I was watching this show right and there, and I,
- 3:02Speaker 1: once again I don't want to spoil a ton, but
- 3:04Speaker 1: there is an age gap in here of thirty three years.
- 3:08Speaker 3: In this show, there's a.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Young woman in her later twenties and ends up with
- 3:12Speaker 1: this gentleman in who is sixty. And I heard the
- 3:16Speaker 1: number sixty, and I went, Angie.
- 3:20Speaker 3: That's right, that is you.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Yes, Mike is sixty.
- 3:22Speaker 3: But it's so much different.
- 3:24Speaker 1: For whatever reason, I don't know why that doesn't bother
- 3:28Speaker 1: me as much because she's about to be thirty and whatever.
- 3:30Speaker 1: But there's this guy on this show who's thirty eight, right,
- 3:33Speaker 1: a dude I would have went to school with high
- 3:36Speaker 1: school my age guy. Yeah, and a twenty two year
- 3:40Speaker 1: old lady. Now is there anything illegal about this? Obviously not.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Are they doing anything really wrong?
- 3:46Speaker 2: No?
- 3:46Speaker 1: No, But there's something about that that bothers me more
- 3:50Speaker 1: than thirty and sixty.
- 3:52Speaker 3: Is that weird?
- 3:53Speaker 6: No?
- 3:54Speaker 2: Because I think twenty two.
- 3:55Speaker 4: I think back to what I you know what, Okay,
- 3:59Speaker 4: I'm the perfect example. When I was twenty one, I
- 4:02Speaker 4: dated a guy who was a personal trainer and a
- 4:06Speaker 4: paramedic and a firefighter and he was so smoking hot
- 4:08Speaker 4: and his name was Ted, but he was forty two.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Yeah, that's crazy and so and it didn't.
- 4:15Speaker 4: It didn't work out, obviously, But thinking back to that time,
- 4:20Speaker 4: if we broke it, I broke it off because it
- 4:22Speaker 4: did just feel weird to me because when it was
- 4:25Speaker 4: just like we were kind of like making out and
- 4:27Speaker 4: hooking up whatever.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Cool.
- 4:28Speaker 4: But then when it was like, are we gonna do
- 4:29Speaker 4: a real relationship? I thought, you, sir, you're at a
- 4:33Speaker 4: big age.
- 4:34Speaker 2: To want anything to do with me.
- 4:36Speaker 4: Seriously, I'm only twenty one. Yeah, And so that didn't
- 4:40Speaker 4: work out, so by Ted.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Yeah, and if you have not seen the show, I
- 4:44Speaker 1: am not a big reality watcher and I was kind
- 4:46Speaker 1: of just on my phone while my wife was watching
- 4:49Speaker 1: the show. It is pretty interesting though, to sort of
- 4:52Speaker 1: follow along and hear these people explain why or why
- 4:55Speaker 1: not this age gap thing is or will not work
- 4:59Speaker 1: for that. So check it out on Netflix. It's one
- 5:01Speaker 1: of the most popular shows on there right now. And
- 5:04Speaker 1: I know after watching that yesterday, I had to have
- 5:06Speaker 1: a conversation with my twenty four week gold in Uterow
- 5:09Speaker 1: daughter that please don't be on this show at least
- 5:13Speaker 1: until I'm way, way way older.
- 5:19Speaker 6: Celebrating life's little victories victory every morning we practice gratitude
- 5:24Speaker 6: on Big ninety eight points seven.
- 5:25Speaker 1: If I could, I would keep this feeling in a
- 5:28Speaker 1: plastic job, bust it out when it was someone's acting hard.
- 5:31Speaker 6: I just really needed to win, you know, sure your
- 5:33Speaker 6: little victories with us at seven oh one two eight
- 5:36Speaker 6: A one ninety eight seven And Angie, it is beautiful
- 5:40Speaker 6: Thursday today, Do you have a little victory for us
- 5:44Speaker 6: this morning?
- 5:45Speaker 4: I don't mean to be a hater to my own children,
- 5:48Speaker 4: because I love them very much.
- 5:51Speaker 2: However, However, it is spring.
- 5:57Speaker 4: This is going on spring break for our public schools,
- 6:01Speaker 4: and I dropped my kids off at the airport so
- 6:04Speaker 4: they could fly far away and spend spring break with
- 6:09Speaker 4: their dad, which means I have had a quiet, empty
- 6:15Speaker 4: house all week where I can watch Prices Right reruns
- 6:20Speaker 4: and grown up shows without having to worry about the
- 6:23Speaker 4: kids being in the vicinity complaining about Prices Right or saying,
- 6:27Speaker 4: h we want to be up in the living room,
- 6:29Speaker 4: but I'm trying to watch a grown up show. Like.
- 6:31Speaker 4: It's just so magical to have a break. Do I
- 6:36Speaker 4: miss them? Absolutely? I have these moments where I'm like,
- 6:41Speaker 4: I wish the kids were here, and Mike is like.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Okay, but they're gonna be back soon.
- 6:44Speaker 4: Yeah right, and you're gonna need a break, so just
- 6:47Speaker 4: enjoy this while you can.
- 6:48Speaker 2: So I'm trying to enjoy it. And it is.
- 6:50Speaker 4: Quite the victory to have a kid free house for
- 6:55Speaker 4: spring break.
- 6:56Speaker 3: Even for just a little bit.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Yeah, even for just a little bit. Now by tomorrow
- 7:00Speaker 2: I'll be like I need them all.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Yeah right, it's always fun for like a day, yeah,
- 7:04Speaker 1: two five days?
- 7:07Speaker 2: What about you, Gab, What is your little big my
- 7:10Speaker 2: little victory?
- 7:10Speaker 3: Glad to be back with you here.
- 7:11Speaker 1: This morning yesterday was the wildest morning at my house
- 7:15Speaker 1: where this wasn't this was why I was gone, But
- 7:18Speaker 1: I had just a really, really sore throat. It was
- 7:20Speaker 1: one of those where you're you feel like you're just
- 7:22Speaker 1: swallowing glass all day.
- 7:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:24Speaker 1: And if it was one of those things where I
- 7:26Speaker 1: could go and maybe just sit and do nothing in
- 7:28Speaker 1: my office and like not talk all morning, I probably
- 7:31Speaker 1: could have done it. But there's nothing worse than when
- 7:34Speaker 1: you are a radio broadcaster and something happens to your
- 7:38Speaker 1: mouth or your face or your throat. That is just
- 7:42Speaker 1: a nightmare situation. So we had that. But yesterday, my
- 7:46Speaker 1: little victory is that my nose stopped bleeding yesterday on
- 7:50Speaker 1: top of having just a horribly sore throat from weather.
- 7:54Speaker 1: I don't know if it's allergies or what, or the
- 7:56Speaker 1: weather changing, but my house must be extremely dry, because
- 8:01Speaker 1: I woke up at two three in the morning yesterday
- 8:03Speaker 1: somewhere and I had a bloody nose for forty five minutes.
- 8:07Speaker 1: And I'm sitting there googling. I'm like, well, at what
- 8:10Speaker 1: point is like blood loss going to be an issue?
- 8:12Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 8:12Speaker 3: And I need to go to the hospital.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Uh so clearly I needed to obviously get a humidifier going,
- 8:18Speaker 1: so I did that yesterday and and I feel better.
- 8:21Speaker 1: We're still not like fully there, but I feel a
- 8:22Speaker 1: lot lot better today. So it's great to be back
- 8:24Speaker 1: and not having a bloody nose always a plaid.
- 8:28Speaker 2: You're back. I'm so glad you're back.
- 8:30Speaker 4: Yesterday, you know, I held down the floor as best
- 8:32Speaker 4: I could. I want to confess something to you before
- 8:36Speaker 4: a listener texts in and tells you I definitely did
- 8:40Speaker 4: make fun of you. I said that Gabe is out
- 8:42Speaker 4: with a sore throat, and while I totally believe he
- 8:45Speaker 4: has a sore throw, I bet he's acting.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Like a real baby about it because he's a man.
- 8:50Speaker 3: That's all right. Didn't I send you something about that
- 8:53Speaker 3: on Instagram or.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Whatever the probably did. Yeah.
- 8:56Speaker 3: Well, either way, glad to be back.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Feeling pretty solid today here, and thank thankfully my nose
- 9:01Speaker 1: stop leading, which is the strangest little victory I've ever
- 9:05Speaker 1: I think shared in my life.
- 9:06Speaker 2: A win is win, that's right.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Well, if you have been dealing with the time change,
- 9:17Speaker 1: I know that was a little bit ago here, but
- 9:19Speaker 1: you're still feeling like man, I cannot fall asleep when
- 9:22Speaker 1: I want to. I'm not getting the quality of sleep
- 9:24Speaker 1: I want. I have discovered this hack on social media.
- 9:30Speaker 1: By I discovered, I mean, I just read about it,
- 9:32Speaker 1: but I found it.
- 9:33Speaker 3: For you here this morning. And this is genius.
- 9:37Speaker 2: Okay, tell me genius.
- 9:39Speaker 4: My focus for twenty twenty six is to work on
- 9:42Speaker 4: my sleep hygiene aka getting enough sleep.
- 9:45Speaker 2: So please impart your wisdom.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Gamee, what do you use to fall asleep? What's your
- 9:51Speaker 1: best kind of hack?
- 9:52Speaker 3: All right?
- 9:52Speaker 1: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Now I have not tried this, okay, but the reviews
- 10:01Speaker 1: are in and people are saying, I am fifty years
- 10:04Speaker 1: old and just discovering this. This is the greatest thing
- 10:07Speaker 1: I've ever discovered to help me fall asleep. Okay, if
- 10:10Speaker 1: you're struggling to sleep, this person suggests, try the reverse
- 10:16Speaker 1: blink trick. All right, So if you have if you
- 10:19Speaker 1: have your eyes closed, open your eyes every ten fifteen seconds,
- 10:25Speaker 1: basically the opposite of a blink, and your brain sees
- 10:29Speaker 1: it as you trying to stay awake, and it really
- 10:31Speaker 1: just wants you to give up.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Oh I like that.
- 10:35Speaker 3: Now I have not tried this, but.
- 10:37Speaker 2: I'm gonna try shy. Now smart if I fall asleep
- 10:39Speaker 2: during this show, Gabe.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Although it works, Do you use anything to fall asleep injie?
- 10:44Speaker 1: Do you have any kind of hack? I mean, you
- 10:45Speaker 1: know the one I do every single.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Day you listen to Harry Potter.
- 10:49Speaker 1: I actually don't even know if I could fall asleep
- 10:52Speaker 1: without an audio book at this point. Yeah, because the
- 10:55Speaker 1: silence would be so loud. Does that make sense?
- 10:58Speaker 4: Yeah, that does make sense when you listen into it.
- 11:01Speaker 2: Is it in your ear pod? Do you have your
- 11:03Speaker 2: air pods in?
- 11:04Speaker 3: No? No, it's just my phone like speaker.
- 11:07Speaker 2: Okay. And your wife is fine with this.
- 11:09Speaker 3: She needs it to fall asleep, now, oh she does.
- 11:11Speaker 3: She trained. So that's why.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Whenever on long car rides, yeah, you know, we're either
- 11:17Speaker 1: listening to Big ninety eight point seven or if we're
- 11:19Speaker 1: out of the signal range and we gotta throw on
- 11:21Speaker 1: a book or whatever. Yeah, I can't put on Harry
- 11:24Speaker 1: Potter because she will fall asleep in the car.
- 11:26Speaker 2: Right well, and you might fall asleep driving exactly. Okay.
- 11:30Speaker 2: So that's my issue is that I used to do like.
- 11:34Speaker 4: White noise, not white noise like ocean sounds, and what
- 11:38Speaker 4: I guess that is white noise, and I don't do
- 11:41Speaker 4: that now because I sleep with another person and I
- 11:44Speaker 4: don't think Mikey would like that, would like that. But
- 11:47Speaker 4: I can't sleep with my AirPods in and that doesn't work. Yeah,
- 11:51Speaker 4: so I just kind of struggle and then hopefully fall asleep.
- 11:55Speaker 4: So maybe this is I will try, you know what,
- 11:57Speaker 4: mark my words at six forty two am tonight, I
- 12:01Speaker 4: am going to try this reverse blinking method. Yeah, and
- 12:05Speaker 4: I will report back, hopefully during little victories that it worked.
- 12:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:09Speaker 1: I'm looking forward to getting your research on that, Paul,
- 12:12Speaker 1: do you have a hack to fall asleep?
- 12:14Speaker 5: I usually just put on some old television show to
- 12:16Speaker 5: fall asleep to. It has to be something I've seen
- 12:18Speaker 5: a million times, though, so it's just background noise.
- 12:21Speaker 2: Yes.
- 12:22Speaker 4: I used to do that too, but then I made
- 12:24Speaker 4: the annoying decision to not have a television in my bedroom.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Oh sure, and I'm regretting that.
- 12:31Speaker 3: Well.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Well, I've tried to fall asleep to not Harry Potter books.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Uh huh.
- 12:35Speaker 1: And it doesn't work the same because I don't know
- 12:39Speaker 1: what's coming next. It's almost like I'm learning something new
- 12:41Speaker 1: in all these in any new book.
- 12:44Speaker 3: Right, I've heard Harry Potter. So often it is the
- 12:47Speaker 3: same thing exactly.
- 12:48Speaker 2: That's what Paul is saying.
- 12:49Speaker 4: It has to be something you've watched over and over,
- 12:52Speaker 4: so you're not invested in what's happening exactly.
- 12:55Speaker 3: All right, Jesse, what about you?
- 12:56Speaker 5: I count backwards from three hundred and five threes. It's
- 13:00Speaker 5: not sexy, it's not fun, but your brain gets so annoyed.
- 13:03Speaker 2: It's just stressed off.
- 13:04Speaker 5: That's never made it past like two hundred and thirty.
- 13:07Speaker 1: That actually is really smart. I don't even know if
- 13:09Speaker 1: I could do that. So to ninety seven to ninety
- 13:13Speaker 1: four to ninety are you falling done?
- 13:18Speaker 5: Bag wag wag wag wagwak to me the wag wag
- 13:21Speaker 5: wag wag wag.
- 13:23Speaker 1: There's a man in Indiana who holds the world record
- 13:27Speaker 1: for seventy three years as a job of grave digging.
- 13:34Speaker 2: What.
- 13:34Speaker 3: Yes, this dude digs graves for a living.
- 13:37Speaker 2: He's been doing for seventy three years, so.
- 13:40Speaker 3: He's been at it a while. Yeah, how old is
- 13:42Speaker 3: this man?
- 13:43Speaker 2: This is insane?
- 13:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:44Speaker 1: And when you when you hear like grave digging, you're like,
- 13:47Speaker 1: oh that's kind of creepy.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Yeah, feels morbid.
- 13:50Speaker 3: Yeah, you're hanging out in cemeteries a lot.
- 13:53Speaker 4: I believe in the paranormal, So this job is an
- 13:56Speaker 4: absolutely no for me.
- 13:58Speaker 2: That's terrifying.
- 13:58Speaker 1: See a job that, like likely I would never really
- 14:01Speaker 1: want to do or could do because I'm a chicken.
- 14:04Speaker 1: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 14:07Speaker 1: And I love this question because for everybody the answer
- 14:11Speaker 1: could be something different. Yes, what is the scariest job
- 14:16Speaker 1: that you can think of? Seven oh one two eight
- 14:19Speaker 1: zero one nine eight seven. Angie, what would your scariest
- 14:24Speaker 1: job be?
- 14:25Speaker 4: Anything to do with banking and somebody else's money?
- 14:31Speaker 2: I do not trust myself.
- 14:33Speaker 4: To count correctly, okay, like or even input numbers correctly
- 14:39Speaker 4: of that, Like, I just don't trust myself. I feel
- 14:41Speaker 4: like there would be a disconnect and it would be
- 14:43Speaker 4: like you made this person.
- 14:44Speaker 2: Lose millions of dollars, now they're homeless, and now they're homeless.
- 14:49Speaker 4: I cannot anything with other people's money like that would
- 14:53Speaker 4: be you're losing my own money. But I'm not trying
- 14:56Speaker 4: to do that to someone. I would be fired immediately.
- 15:00Speaker 4: Hire me at any Gate City Bank.
- 15:02Speaker 2: That is not for me.
- 15:04Speaker 3: That's not going to be the one up.
- 15:05Speaker 1: No, we do have Dave on the phone, Dave, what
- 15:08Speaker 1: would the scariest job be for you?
- 15:09Speaker 3: Man? I think window washer is the scariest job out there.
- 15:13Speaker 4: I'm terrified the heights, and I would not do well
- 15:16Speaker 4: on a skyscraper.
- 15:17Speaker 3: A lot of people who would not love that job.
- 15:20Speaker 2: Yeah. Mikey, my boyfriend I we were talking about.
- 15:25Speaker 4: We saw somebody washing windows the other day, but not
- 15:28Speaker 4: high up because there wasn't like a skyscraper. And I
- 15:32Speaker 4: had said to him, how much do you think people
- 15:34Speaker 4: get paid that like wash windows on like the skyscrapers,
- 15:38Speaker 4: And he said, not enough money.
- 15:39Speaker 2: That's terrifying. He would not be down. That's the scariest
- 15:43Speaker 2: to him. Give them all the money. Yeah, I think
- 15:45Speaker 2: they should make millions of dollars.
- 15:47Speaker 3: That's right.
- 15:47Speaker 1: If I had to have the scariest job, I think
- 15:50Speaker 1: it would be anything to do with like snakes.
- 15:56Speaker 4: Or oh you're not working at a zoo anytime.
- 16:00Speaker 3: Anything to do with critters.
- 16:02Speaker 1: I'm not a big fan of right, so like big
- 16:03Speaker 1: giant animals, I love no problem with them at all,
- 16:07Speaker 1: but any like little twitchy kind of animal, they just
- 16:11Speaker 1: bother me and freaked me out. I'm already little in
- 16:14Speaker 1: twitchy too, little in twitchies don't make a rite, you
- 16:18Speaker 1: know what I mean?
- 16:20Speaker 3: I like me.
- 16:20Speaker 2: You called them critters, that's the perfect Yeah, I don't.
- 16:23Speaker 1: You know, it's like raccoons. I'm not a big fan
- 16:26Speaker 1: of either. Sem makes just anything to do with small
- 16:31Speaker 1: like like a rodent removal or something like.
- 16:33Speaker 3: I'm out on that.
- 16:34Speaker 2: What about you, Audrey, bomb squad.
- 16:38Speaker 5: Imagine walking towards the thing that everyone else is running
- 16:41Speaker 5: away from and then deciding which wire to catch.
- 16:44Speaker 2: I mean, that's not a job.
- 16:45Speaker 5: That's a heart attack a woaiiting to happen.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a lot of pressure. I mean, that is
- 16:49Speaker 1: a ton of pressure.
- 16:50Speaker 4: It's a lot And if you've seen that, what if
- 16:53Speaker 4: you know, you know, text me seven to one to
- 16:55Speaker 4: one nine eight seven and just say that. You know,
- 16:58Speaker 4: there's an episode of grays Anatomy where Kyle Chandler from
- 17:02Speaker 4: Friday Night Lights is someone on the bomb Squad and
- 17:06Speaker 4: there's something that happens in that episode I think everybody remembers.
- 17:10Speaker 2: And no, absolutely not. That is the scariest job of
- 17:13Speaker 2: all time have all time.
- 17:14Speaker 1: And it's not like it's call of duty, you know,
- 17:16Speaker 1: it's not like you get a redo after you don't No,
- 17:18Speaker 1: one back in.
- 17:22Speaker 3: In the world of rules in gray Areas, one morning
- 17:25Speaker 3: show dares to ask the hard questions.
- 17:27Speaker 2: Is it illegal for a child to wear that much makeup?
- 17:30Speaker 3: Is it legal? Understand, I understand it's funny as all
- 17:33Speaker 3: get out, but is.
- 17:34Speaker 1: It even legal?
- 17:35Speaker 3: On Big ninety eight point seven.
- 17:39Speaker 1: With March Madness heating up the Bison a very big
- 17:42Speaker 1: basketball game today against Michigan State at about three oh five,
- 17:45Speaker 1: I just have a friendly reminder that here in North Dakota,
- 17:48Speaker 1: keep your brackets in your hand and your pants on
- 17:52Speaker 1: your body. Yes, it is one hundred percent illegal to
- 17:55Speaker 1: go streaking at.
- 17:56Speaker 3: A basketball game here in North Dakota.
- 17:58Speaker 1: And I know that's shocking for anyone who thought, you
- 18:01Speaker 1: know what, this close game needs me naked.
- 18:06Speaker 3: Turns out that's called.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Indecent exposure and also a great way to be tackled
- 18:10Speaker 1: by security before you even make it past half court.
- 18:14Speaker 1: We're talking possible arrests, misdemeanor charges, and becoming that guy
- 18:19Speaker 1: on the news forever and honestly, in North Dakota, I'll
- 18:22Speaker 1: be honest with you, it is March Okay, you don't
- 18:24Speaker 1: want to be streaking anyway. That's not a halftime show
- 18:26Speaker 1: that's a cry for help. So enjoy the game here
- 18:29Speaker 1: on the Bison, and for everyone's stake, keep your jersey
- 18:33Speaker 1: on as well as your pants.
- 18:35Speaker 4: Gabe, I got a breast reduction, and I was thinking
- 18:39Speaker 4: this would be the time. How am I gonna showcase
- 18:42Speaker 4: the new tweens? But apparently streaking is a league.
- 18:55Speaker 1: Well, Angie, you met your ex's new thing. I did
- 18:59Speaker 1: be a face time at least I.
- 19:01Speaker 4: Did be a FaceTime So my kids were going over.
- 19:05Speaker 2: They they're there right now.
- 19:06Speaker 4: It's spring break, and so the kids were going to
- 19:09Speaker 4: go spend it with their dad. However, their dad has
- 19:13Speaker 4: a new lady in his life and they live together,
- 19:17Speaker 4: and so just you know, I'm I want to know
- 19:20Speaker 4: who's going to be around my kid. That's fair, right,
- 19:23Speaker 4: So he was like, yeah, that makes sense.
- 19:26Speaker 2: When do you want to meet her?
- 19:27Speaker 4: We live in different states, so it was always going
- 19:29Speaker 4: to be a FaceTime call. So I was nervous for
- 19:32Speaker 4: this FaceTime call because I'm a ridiculous person and I
- 19:35Speaker 4: wanted her to think that I was hot and cool
- 19:38Speaker 4: and interesting and funny.
- 19:40Speaker 1: So wow, I'm glad that was what first came to mind. Yeah,
- 19:43Speaker 1: so not not anything important. I guess she's nice or kind.
- 19:48Speaker 2: Yeah, No, it was all about me how I wanted
- 19:50Speaker 2: to be perceived.
- 19:51Speaker 4: Well, the thing is is that I trust my ex
- 19:53Speaker 4: in that I don't think he's gonna bring some terrible
- 19:57Speaker 4: human being around our kids.
- 20:00Speaker 2: We co parent just fine.
- 20:02Speaker 4: So it was yeah, I just needed to meet her,
- 20:04Speaker 4: so I knew just in case of anything, like if
- 20:07Speaker 4: I have to contact her whatever. So we jump on
- 20:10Speaker 4: this FaceTime call and let me tell you, she is
- 20:15Speaker 4: a gorgeous she's so hot. And I had stalked her
- 20:19Speaker 4: Facebook page. I had stalked her Facebook page before. She's
- 20:25Speaker 4: not on Instagram, obviously. I tried to figure out what
- 20:28Speaker 4: she looked like before this, so I stalked her page.
- 20:31Speaker 4: But all of her photos on Facebook were older, almost
- 20:34Speaker 4: like ten years old, and so you know, all one
- 20:37Speaker 4: can happen in ten years. But from those photos, I thought, well,
- 20:40Speaker 4: she's a smoke show great.
- 20:42Speaker 2: So when I do meet her, I have to look
- 20:44Speaker 2: my best.
- 20:45Speaker 4: I will say I looked maybe not my best, but
- 20:48Speaker 4: I looked very presentable. I thought I did a decent job,
- 20:51Speaker 4: like I dressed for the occasion and did my hair
- 20:53Speaker 4: and put makeup on.
- 20:54Speaker 2: I don't even do that for Mikey yeah or me yeah.
- 21:00Speaker 4: No, but we jump in the call and the first
- 21:02Speaker 4: thing and no, she's maybe even hotter than the photos.
- 21:06Speaker 4: So she's aging great, she has excellent hair. She was
- 21:10Speaker 4: so sweet. She also has a dog.
- 21:13Speaker 2: So she introduced me the dog because the kids are
- 21:15Speaker 2: going to be around her dog.
- 21:16Speaker 4: And we had a really great chat and everything was fine,
- 21:20Speaker 4: and every time I went I did admit to her
- 21:23Speaker 4: that I stalked her on Yeah, yeah, I said, I
- 21:26Speaker 4: had debated telling you this, but I did stalk you
- 21:29Speaker 4: to see what you look like.
- 21:30Speaker 2: And oh my gosh, you're so hot.
- 21:31Speaker 4: And she thought that that was nice, or she made
- 21:34Speaker 4: it seem like she thought it was nice and not psycho.
- 21:36Speaker 4: In fact, I said, I don't want you to think
- 21:38Speaker 4: I'm some psycho and then she said.
- 21:41Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, there's like a.
- 21:43Speaker 4: Spectrum of psycho and I said, yeah, I'm the fun kind,
- 21:46Speaker 4: that's right, And she said that she could see that.
- 21:49Speaker 2: Who knows if she's lying to play game me.
- 21:51Speaker 4: I don't know, but the whole interaction went really well.
- 21:55Speaker 4: What I'm having trouble processing is that I liked her
- 21:59Speaker 4: so much that I.
- 22:00Speaker 2: Want to be friends with her, like for real.
- 22:03Speaker 4: But I don't know if that would be awkward for
- 22:06Speaker 4: her or for my ex, Like, hey, I know you
- 22:09Speaker 4: guys are dating, but can she and I be besties?
- 22:11Speaker 4: I really like cand Yeah, can we go on a
- 22:15Speaker 4: play date? So I'm glad that it wasn't, you know, terrible,
- 22:19Speaker 4: But also I gotta up my game.
- 22:22Speaker 2: I need to get hotter just so.
- 22:24Speaker 4: That, like I'm at least on par I don't want
- 22:27Speaker 4: my ex to say he upgraded.
- 22:30Speaker 1: Well, I think you know what if you don't know this,
- 22:33Speaker 1: behind the scenes, our Angie is now on, strangely enough,
- 22:38Speaker 1: a bit of a health journey.
- 22:40Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean it was motivation.
- 22:44Speaker 4: I had already decided because now that I have my
- 22:47Speaker 4: breast reduction, I was like, I'm want to get in shape.
- 22:49Speaker 4: I'm want to look the best I have ever looked
- 22:52Speaker 4: and feel the best I've ever felt. And then I
- 22:54Speaker 4: met her and I was like, cool, I need a
- 22:56Speaker 4: fast track that immediately exactly. So I'm gonna go work
- 23:02Speaker 4: out after.
- 23:03Speaker 2: The show today.
- 23:04Speaker 4: Yeah, because I think the next time I'm gonna see
- 23:07Speaker 4: her is in the summer when my kids go back
- 23:11Speaker 4: to spend time with their dad in the summer. So
- 23:14Speaker 4: I just want her to see me and think, Wow,
- 23:16Speaker 4: she's so stunningly beautiful. I want to be friends with her.
- 23:20Speaker 1: So if you catch Angie, if you see her, you
- 23:22Speaker 1: know she's out on a walk, you're driving by, you
- 23:24Speaker 1: see Angie walking.
- 23:25Speaker 3: Maybe you catch her at the gym.
- 23:26Speaker 1: Yeah, you can just know that that is not because
- 23:29Speaker 1: she wants to feel and look better for herself. It's
- 23:32Speaker 1: so that her ex's new girl thinks she also is hot.
- 23:35Speaker 3: Yes, that's our Angie. That's the Angie we know and love.
- 23:41Speaker 2: This girl is all fun.
- 23:44Speaker 4: It's a girl thing is tomorrow. And I know that
- 23:48Speaker 4: you're dying to go, Gabe, but you're not a girl.
- 23:52Speaker 4: And so I'm gonna quiz you on a couple things.
- 23:55Speaker 4: And if you can pass this quiz, then maybe we'll
- 23:57Speaker 4: give you a pass.
- 23:58Speaker 3: Okay, I like this.
- 23:59Speaker 2: Okay. Do you know what a jade face roller is?
- 24:05Speaker 2: The silence is deafening?
- 24:06Speaker 3: Ah, you know?
- 24:08Speaker 1: Is it like a roller like when you are trying
- 24:11Speaker 1: to paint for your face?
- 24:14Speaker 4: No, Gabe, No, it's it's a skincare tool and it's
- 24:18Speaker 4: dual ended, and it like you use it to gently
- 24:21Speaker 4: massage your face and increase circulation and like help with
- 24:26Speaker 4: lymphatic drainage.
- 24:27Speaker 2: Is all this mean nothing to you?
- 24:29Speaker 3: What about? Is it like a lint roller?
- 24:31Speaker 4: No?
- 24:32Speaker 2: Okay, on to the next. Do you know what a
- 24:34Speaker 2: highlighter is?
- 24:35Speaker 1: Yep, that's what I would put in my notes for
- 24:38Speaker 1: things I had to remember. Boom done incorrect. You also
- 24:42Speaker 1: got that wrong.
- 24:43Speaker 2: Highlighter.
- 24:43Speaker 4: It's like a shimmery stick that you roll on your
- 24:46Speaker 4: face to highlight your features.
- 24:49Speaker 2: On your face.
- 24:50Speaker 3: All right, well so you got that wrong.
- 24:52Speaker 2: You're oh for too? What about? Have you ever used
- 24:54Speaker 2: a tanning mit?
- 24:56Speaker 3: Yes? I have?
- 24:58Speaker 2: In what capacity? Would you do with that?
- 25:00Speaker 3: That is what is under my stove?
- 25:03Speaker 1: And then I grab to get hot items out of
- 25:06Speaker 1: this out of the stove.
- 25:08Speaker 2: It happens wrong.
- 25:10Speaker 4: No, the tanning may is so that you don't get
- 25:13Speaker 4: self tanner all over your hands when it's the cold
- 25:17Speaker 4: months in Fargo and you need to.
- 25:20Speaker 2: Get yourself a self tanned So all that.
- 25:22Speaker 4: To say because I don't get to go, Yeah, you
- 25:24Speaker 4: don't get to go.
- 25:26Speaker 2: These are all girl things.
- 25:27Speaker 4: You got them wrong, and so you are not invited
- 25:30Speaker 4: to It's a girl thing, which is tomorrow at the

- 26:49Speaker 2: I think you're gonna fail miserably. So please put him
- 26:52Speaker 2: to the test.
- 26:58Speaker 3: Starting off the day with something good.
- 27:00Speaker 6: This is Gabe's good news on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 27:06Speaker 1: Clint to Gilbertson, a fire chief, National Guard Master Sergeant
- 27:10Speaker 1: and instructor at North Dakota State College of Science, was
- 27:14Speaker 1: named North Dakota Fire Instructor.
- 27:17Speaker 3: Of the Year.
- 27:18Speaker 1: And what makes this even crazier is this is in
- 27:20Speaker 1: just his second year of teaching. Oh wow, it sounds
- 27:24Speaker 1: like a guy kind of found his calling here. He's
- 27:26Speaker 1: making a strong impact by focusing on hands on training
- 27:30Speaker 1: and real world preparation for future firefighters. Nominated by his students,
- 27:34Speaker 1: Gilbertson emphasizes that success in firefighting comes from training, not guesswork.
- 27:40Speaker 1: His program is growing, with plans to expand facilities and
- 27:44Speaker 1: enrollment next year. So congratulations to Clint. Yeah, very very cool,
- 27:50Speaker 1: and I wish I always kind of wanted to like
- 27:53Speaker 1: do the like a firefighter training like class, just a
- 27:57Speaker 1: to see if you can do it, and then b
- 27:59Speaker 1: you can probably learned something like I know a lot
- 28:01Speaker 1: of us sit here and go if there's a fire
- 28:03Speaker 1: at my house, I know exactly what I would do.
- 28:04Speaker 2: And it's like, well, yeah, I know exactly what I
- 28:06Speaker 2: would do.
- 28:07Speaker 4: Die.
- 28:07Speaker 1: Yeah, right, You really don't until you unless you practice
- 28:10Speaker 1: and or are in a situation like that. So I
- 28:13Speaker 1: might have to hit up Clint here and see if
- 28:15Speaker 1: I could do a class. That'd be yeah, I love that.
- 28:17Speaker 2: Do that.
- 28:17Speaker 1: The world is full of nice people. If you can't
- 28:20Speaker 1: find one, you gotta be one.
