- 0:00Speaker 1: Trending. Now here's what you need to know.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Well, we have some breaking news, even though the AP
- 0:07Speaker 2: says we are set to know here in a few hours.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Kamala Harris has reportedly selected Minnesota Governor Tim Waltz as
- 0:13Speaker 2: her running mate. Four sources have told CNN that that
- 0:17Speaker 2: was the pick. Again, the campaign has yet to officially
- 0:19Speaker 2: make this her decision.
- 0:21Speaker 3: But uh well it's and obviously it's one of those
- 0:23Speaker 3: deals where you know, half you probably love him and
- 0:25Speaker 3: half you hate him. But it's still you know, as
- 0:27Speaker 3: a Minnesota boy and a Minnesota girl, you know, it's like, okay, cool,
- 0:30Speaker 3: that's cool. Same with you know, Bergram when he was
- 0:32Speaker 3: in the running, it's like, oh yeah, it's one of
- 0:33Speaker 3: our own, whether you love him or hate him. So
- 0:35Speaker 3: good for Tim. I will say Tim does do a
- 0:37Speaker 3: good like speech, like he's a good speaker, like I remember,
- 0:40Speaker 3: like the early COVID days, like he was doing some
- 0:42Speaker 3: really solid I thought speeches and public addresses.
- 0:46Speaker 2: A North Dakota girl. Then, so I was watching more
- 0:49Speaker 2: of the burgham surely you heard him. I don't even
- 0:51Speaker 2: honestly don't remember. I just remember thinking that because it's
- 0:54Speaker 2: shocking to me. Politics aside policies and all that. Just
- 0:57Speaker 2: you would think the candidates would all be like good speakers. Yeah,
- 1:01Speaker 2: it is amazing, it's not, I know exactly. And Simone
- 1:05Speaker 2: Biles wrapped up her twenty twenty four Olympics with a
- 1:07Speaker 2: silver medal on the floor exercise yesterday. Was pretty cool
- 1:11Speaker 2: to see all of the women supporting each other. Gymnastics
- 1:14Speaker 2: was just fun to watch, just all around. For me,
- 1:16Speaker 2: that was my favorite through so far the Olympics. Yeah,
- 1:19Speaker 2: track and fields, I'm getting into it now. But there
- 1:23Speaker 2: was some controversy, so Simone ended up getting silver, and.
- 1:28Speaker 3: Chiles she was Jackie Chiles.
- 1:31Speaker 2: She wasn't even supposed to be winning at all, Like
- 1:35Speaker 2: she was super super bummed by at her score was
- 1:37Speaker 2: too low. Well, they put it in an inquiry and
- 1:39Speaker 2: the girl who was in third place who thought she
- 1:42Speaker 2: won the bronze was already celebrating. She was super excited,
- 1:46Speaker 2: not knowing that this was still not a final decision
- 1:48Speaker 2: even though they put the scores out there and she
- 1:51Speaker 2: ended up getting the bronze, which was incredible, But oh
- 1:53Speaker 2: my gosh, I felt so bad for this poor.
- 1:55Speaker 3: Girl who sorry, and it's such a just a small day. Friends.
- 2:00Speaker 3: They I think they increased child's score by like, you know,
- 2:03Speaker 3: five point eight to five point nine or whatever, just
- 2:05Speaker 3: enough to so now you're a medalist, Like for the
- 2:07Speaker 3: rest of your life you have that you medaled at
- 2:09Speaker 3: the Olympics and now at nothing you were there. No,
- 2:12Speaker 3: that's cool, but it ain't a medal.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Just tough to watch and uh it is now win
- 2:16Speaker 2: or go home. For the US men's basketball team, they're
- 2:18Speaker 2: gonna face Brazil this afternoon.
- 2:21Speaker 3: And who's a Is there a Brazilian NBA player? I
- 2:24Speaker 3: mean some of these countries, like you know, Nikolai jok
- 2:27Speaker 3: It like plays in Serbia, and you know there's always
- 2:30Speaker 3: like one NBA player. But we got to just destroy Brazil, don't.
- 2:34Speaker 2: We, I would hope. So I don't know for sure.
- 2:37Speaker 2: One person who took Homa diamond at the Olympics was
- 2:40Speaker 2: Peyton Otter, Doll's fiance. Now did you see this? Of course,
- 2:44Speaker 2: a former NDSU athlete. He ended up he got fourth,
- 2:48Speaker 2: by the way for the shot put. I was like,
- 2:50Speaker 2: oh so close, but he ended up getting done on
- 2:53Speaker 2: his knee in front of the Eiffel Tower and proposed
- 2:55Speaker 2: to his girl.
- 2:55Speaker 3: That's you got it, that's just win right, I I'm
- 2:58Speaker 3: going to get close. Now, fourth is an actually a thing?
- 3:00Speaker 1: Right?
- 3:00Speaker 3: They don't give out a no because I remember what
- 3:03Speaker 3: that well, let me tell you it was in Perm actually,
- 3:06Speaker 3: of all places, there was an elementary wrestling tournament. Group
- 3:10Speaker 3: to four the bracket. There was four kids and I
- 3:13Speaker 3: got fourth, and they gave me a black metal it
- 3:16Speaker 3: was painted black. I was offended, like, yeah, old silver bronze.
- 3:24Speaker 3: A trophy, yeah, not a ribbon, a certificate. I mean
- 3:29Speaker 3: I already felt bad enough. I just lost three times.
- 3:33Speaker 2: Oh that's good. Yeah, I really appreciate that.
- 3:38Speaker 3: So, if you're listening you had anything to do with
- 3:40Speaker 3: the Perm elementary wrestling tournament in like two thousand and one.
- 3:45Speaker 3: I got some I got some issues.
- 3:47Speaker 2: I wonder if they still do that.
- 3:49Speaker 3: I can't imagine. Also, I think they all get trophies now,
- 3:53Speaker 3: don't they.
- 3:54Speaker 2: We were talking about a little off air wrestling getting
- 3:58Speaker 2: Brigsy boy into.
- 3:59Speaker 3: Some This kid, there's no stopping him. Your three year
- 4:02Speaker 3: old just rode a bike without training wheels.
- 4:04Speaker 2: And now we're taking him to the mat here.
- 4:07Speaker 3: We are no sounds like just an all round athlete.
- 4:10Speaker 3: But for him, I think they will change his life.
- 4:11Speaker 3: He'll change his life for the better, change your life.
- 4:13Speaker 2: That'd be something fun for him to start.
- 4:15Speaker 3: Yeah, now some of that energy. Just make sure if
- 4:18Speaker 3: he doesn't like it right away, like just keep him going.
- 4:22Speaker 2: It's more of the sportsmanship stuff, because, for instance, he
- 4:25Speaker 2: gets really mad at his bike when he falls down
- 4:27Speaker 2: and kicks it, throws it.
- 4:28Speaker 3: He's just yeah, and that's an inaudimate object. Imagine it
- 4:32Speaker 3: another three year old. What he's going to do that thought?
- 4:37Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, maybe you'll rethink. Let me send an email
- 4:40Speaker 2: off here. And the US Sister Judge ruled yesterday that
- 4:44Speaker 2: Google Searches Engine has been operated as a monopoly. I
- 4:47Speaker 2: guess I didn't know this was going on. But the
- 4:49Speaker 2: US Attorney General Engine the search engine, that's what they
- 4:54Speaker 2: call him.
- 4:56Speaker 3: Then Google searches Engine.
- 4:59Speaker 2: The search engine Google.
- 5:01Speaker 3: Oh okay, got it that thing.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Yeah, So that US Attorney General almost a year ago
- 5:06Speaker 2: said that.
- 5:08Speaker 3: Like, you didn't misspeak.
- 5:10Speaker 2: I didn't.
- 5:13Speaker 3: I know, you don't remember saying it incorrectly, but it
- 5:15Speaker 3: was very confusing.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Thank you. Anyway, he said, this is an historic win
- 5:20Speaker 2: for the American people. It is a historic win for
- 5:25Speaker 2: the American people. I don't know if I'm supposed to
- 5:28Speaker 2: not be using Google. I didn't know if ask Jeeves
- 5:30Speaker 2: was upset. Should I be going back to aj dot
- 5:33Speaker 2: com or what? But uh, there is a hearing set
- 5:35Speaker 2: for September sixth, and they're gonna start working for towards
- 5:39Speaker 2: some penalties.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Hopefully a big settlement for all of us users. Yeah,
- 5:44Speaker 3: wouldn't that be nice? Big paycheck we all again, as
- 5:47Speaker 3: long as.
- 5:47Speaker 2: They don't go through my Google history because it is
- 5:49Speaker 2: so embarrassing what I google?
- 5:52Speaker 3: Just yeah, no a lot. That's like how to.
- 5:54Speaker 2: Pronunciate something like almost every day I'm asking Google how
- 5:58Speaker 2: to do that a lot too.
- 6:00Speaker 3: I'm thinking the words might be a little different, but.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Yeah, really, I'm just kidding.
- 6:06Speaker 3: I had to google it is. This is a pathetic.
- 6:08Speaker 3: The other day I was writing, I had to write something.
- 6:10Speaker 3: I was labeling something and I was using the word right,
- 6:13Speaker 3: as in the opposite of left and for you ever
- 6:17Speaker 3: have those moments where I'm looking at these letters and
- 6:19Speaker 3: I'm going, this isn't a word? What r I G?
- 6:24Speaker 2: This is kind of how I felt when I was
- 6:26Speaker 2: back in school in the summer. Yeah, you kind of
- 6:29Speaker 2: forget everything that you learn and you're like, oh boy,
- 6:31Speaker 2: oh jeez, I got to write here in like two
- 6:34Speaker 2: weeks before school starts.
- 6:36Speaker 3: But the suddenly the word just looked foreign to me,
- 6:39Speaker 3: and I'm like, I know that's it, And I had
- 6:41Speaker 3: to google how do you spell right? And it was correct. Wow.
- 6:45Speaker 3: But it was just a weird moment.
- 6:46Speaker 2: That is embarrassing, all right, Sunshine today high a seventy seven.
- 6:51Speaker 4: In the morning, Big ninety eight point seven.
- 6:52Speaker 3: You know what I love about the Olympic, Samanda, is
- 6:55Speaker 3: that there's just so many different storylines, so many different athletes,
- 6:58Speaker 3: so many different fun things you hear about. And normally
- 7:02Speaker 3: you wouldn't really find yourself talking much about somebody who
- 7:04Speaker 3: finished twelfth in the pole vault. Normally, now that's not
- 7:08Speaker 3: an athlete that you would have much to say about, right, Yeah,
- 7:12Speaker 3: But when it comes to French pole vaulter Anthony Amaradi,
- 7:15Speaker 3: I think we've all seen at this point the video
- 7:17Speaker 3: of him hitting the crossbar on the way down when
- 7:20Speaker 3: he attempted a five point seven meter pole vault, and
- 7:24Speaker 3: well it was his junk that hit the crossbar. Unbelievable, unbelievable, indeed,
- 7:30Speaker 3: I mean it was.
- 7:31Speaker 2: It's just one of those moments ago, No, like that
- 7:34Speaker 2: can't possibly be real.
- 7:36Speaker 3: You know, it's one of those things where he was
- 7:37Speaker 3: so close to clearing it and you felt bad for him,
- 7:40Speaker 3: but then you saw the slow motion video and suddenly
- 7:43Speaker 3: I didn't feel bad for him at all. In fact,
- 7:46Speaker 3: I was quite envious. So this guy Anthony Amaradi obviously
- 7:51Speaker 3: doing okay down there, and you know, actually they upon
- 7:55Speaker 3: further review, it was his knee that hit the bar first.
- 7:59Speaker 2: And what's just the outfits, I mean just in general,
- 8:01Speaker 2: you kind of have to become immune to it when
- 8:03Speaker 2: you're watching, right, yeah, exactly, the Olympics, I mean, the runners,
- 8:06Speaker 2: all of it. You're just like, okay, you gotta be
- 8:08Speaker 2: an adult pike. Okay, it wasn't me, that's sure. No,
- 8:12Speaker 2: I'm just saying okay. So here's what happened.
- 8:14Speaker 3: Now, this Anthony Amuradi, who afterward he was gutted, like
- 8:18Speaker 3: he felt that was his life's goal to place at
- 8:20Speaker 3: the Olympics, and he didn't even address the whole He
- 8:22Speaker 3: was asked about it, but he didn't want to talk
- 8:24Speaker 3: about it. Now he's been offered two hundred and fifty
- 8:26Speaker 3: thousand dollars ask him, Yeah, he did. Now, this guy
- 8:29Speaker 3: has been offered two hundred and fifty thousand dollars from
- 8:31Speaker 3: an adult website to do a sixty minute webcam show
- 8:35Speaker 3: in which you can quote show off your goods minus
- 8:38Speaker 3: the crossbar. Of course, this was from the.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Only two hundred and fifty thousand dollars.
- 8:43Speaker 3: I mean, what do you get for finishing twelfth in
- 8:45Speaker 3: the Olympics? Probably nothing. I don't know.
- 8:48Speaker 2: That just seems for what they're asking him to do.
- 8:52Speaker 3: No knowing what I know about him, I think I'd
- 8:54Speaker 3: have no problem doing that two hundred and fifty k. Yeah, okay.
- 8:57Speaker 3: And this guy, the vice president of cam Soda, which
- 9:00Speaker 3: is the name of the company. He said, you know,
- 9:02Speaker 3: as a lover of crotch centric activities, Oh my god,
- 9:06Speaker 3: I'd love to offer you up to two hundred and
- 9:08Speaker 3: fifty thousand dollars in exchange for a sixty minute show.
- 9:12Speaker 3: You wouldn't put yourself in his place.
- 9:14Speaker 1: I know.
- 9:14Speaker 3: It's kind of apples and oranges here. It is. Yeah,
- 9:17Speaker 3: very much of bananas and peaches.
- 9:19Speaker 5: But all right, Taking Amanda in the Morning did ninety
- 9:27Speaker 5: point seven and no Amanda stills the sea.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Let's see. Well, everybody was kind of up in arms
- 9:33Speaker 2: going what happened to zach Efron? There was a scare
- 9:35Speaker 2: when he was in Abiza and he was hospitalized. Everybody
- 9:39Speaker 2: knew there was a pool incident, but we're finding out
- 9:41Speaker 2: now that I guess he dove into the water. He
- 9:43Speaker 2: hit the bottom of the pool. Oh, but he ingested
- 9:46Speaker 2: water into his lungs, so he was showing sign of
- 9:48Speaker 2: signs of distress. They brought him in and they did
- 9:51Speaker 2: a check X ray to make sure that his lungs
- 9:54Speaker 2: were working properly. They got the water out of his lungs.
- 9:57Speaker 2: The reason he was in there so long was because
- 9:59Speaker 2: there were so many photoggrapher's outside, so we just stuck
- 10:01Speaker 2: around a little bit longer. He is now back home
- 10:04Speaker 2: in the US. He's healthy, he's doing fine. But as
- 10:06Speaker 2: soon as I heard that he dove in and hit
- 10:08Speaker 2: the bottom, I'm like, oh my gosh.
- 10:10Speaker 3: Yeah, that's really scary. Right, that's one of my biggest fears.
- 10:13Speaker 3: You hear nightmare stories that turn out a lot worse
- 10:15Speaker 3: than this. People diving into shallow waters absolutely be super careful.
- 10:21Speaker 2: And I mean, it's just got to be a rap
- 10:22Speaker 2: right where Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, they are reportedly
- 10:26Speaker 2: not talking to each other, making it hard to finalize
- 10:29Speaker 2: their divorce agreement. Now it's so odd because one day
- 10:32Speaker 2: she's wearing her ring, the next day not. Sometimes we
- 10:34Speaker 2: see sources that they've like been kind of hanging out,
- 10:38Speaker 2: Like he went to the birthday party but was just
- 10:40Speaker 2: like hiding.
- 10:41Speaker 3: Yeah, it's so discince that.
- 10:43Speaker 2: Sources have spilled now to TMZ that neither side is
- 10:45Speaker 2: speaking to one another, whether it's on the phone or
- 10:48Speaker 2: in person. They have a pre nup. So the only
- 10:50Speaker 2: asset that they have right now is this mansion. I
- 10:53Speaker 2: think what is a sixty million dollar mansion that they're
- 10:55Speaker 2: trying to sell. So she apparently has not hired a lawyer.
- 11:00Speaker 2: He has not, and they're working through their business managers.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Once they get everything decided between their settlement and how
- 11:06Speaker 2: they're all going to work everything out, then they'll hire lawyers.
- 11:08Speaker 3: But it's over. It's a wrap.
- 11:10Speaker 2: It's over. I was hanging on for him.
- 11:12Speaker 3: There's always another try. Third time, Na.
- 11:17Speaker 2: And Nicole Kidman revealed her husband, Keith Urban, gifted her
- 11:20Speaker 2: with a Lamborghini.
- 11:21Speaker 3: What they ought to sorry to go back to Ben
- 11:23Speaker 3: and Jaylor. What they ought to do is just sit
- 11:25Speaker 3: down and listen to this song together, right, talk about
- 11:28Speaker 3: falling in love doesn't it just take you back? I
- 11:32Speaker 3: think this was on our prom like Grand March soundtrap.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Oh that's a good one. Nicole Goodman though, by the way,
- 11:40Speaker 2: got this Lamborghini and she doesn't actually drive it. She says, Yeah,
- 11:43Speaker 2: my husband bought me a Lamborghini, but I drive a.
- 11:45Speaker 3: Super ru I don't know why. It's got symmetrical all
- 11:49Speaker 3: wheel drive. Ain't nothing to sneeze at.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Got me so good depth from muscitol will love this.
- 11:54Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's going nuts right now in Holly, that's
- 11:57Speaker 3: what I'm talking about, shout out deb He drives a Lamborghini.
- 12:03Speaker 2: My husband's more of a car guy. I'm just not
- 12:05Speaker 2: a car person. Nicole convinceays, I'm like, you can pick
- 12:07Speaker 2: me up in anything.
- 12:08Speaker 3: I'll be happy.
- 12:09Speaker 2: I do like a bit of air conditioning.
- 12:11Speaker 3: She's okay, a simple gal.
- 12:15Speaker 2: I don't know that. Just had to be rolling this morning.
- 12:17Speaker 3: That's funny this is. I don't know how safe a
- 12:20Speaker 3: Lamborghini is. It can't be that same, Right, you got kids?
- 12:23Speaker 3: I'm sure they have they have kids, right.
- 12:26Speaker 2: I don't think they do together. I know she's got
- 12:28Speaker 2: kids with Tom Cruise and they're way older.
- 12:30Speaker 3: Did she really? Who don't know that who doesn't have
- 12:33Speaker 3: kids with Tom Cruise. It's got to be a short list,
- 12:35Speaker 3: right Not this girl.
- 12:37Speaker 1: And Amanda in the morning on Big.
- 12:41Speaker 3: It's one of the biggest moments and all of our lives.
- 12:43Speaker 3: And I mean, I couldn't believe because I feel like
- 12:48Speaker 3: we just went through this with your your oldest Sydney,
- 12:51Speaker 3: who's five and or was it this year that she
- 12:54Speaker 3: rode a bicycle without training wheels.
- 12:55Speaker 2: Yes, I'd have to go back and look at my
- 12:58Speaker 2: Instagram memories, Pike, but I'm pretty sure it was right
- 13:01Speaker 2: after she turned five that she learned to ride her
- 13:05Speaker 2: bike without training wheels. And it was like one of
- 13:07Speaker 2: those moments. It was within a second. Nick took him off,
- 13:10Speaker 2: pushed her down the road and bam. I mean she
- 13:12Speaker 2: had it within a second, and I was shocked.
- 13:16Speaker 3: It's amazing and it's such an exciting thing, you know,
- 13:18Speaker 3: it's like the little bird flying out of the nest
- 13:20Speaker 3: for the first time.
- 13:21Speaker 2: It really is.
- 13:22Speaker 3: But here, your second Briggs is what two years younger
- 13:25Speaker 3: than her, So I thought, well, we got some time
- 13:28Speaker 3: till we're here again.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Well, and anybody who follow us along with my family
- 13:32Speaker 2: on social media, every video I posted my kids. Sydney's
- 13:36Speaker 2: doing something, Briggs right behind basically mocking everything she does.
- 13:40Speaker 2: And this is kind of a true testament to monkey see,
- 13:43Speaker 2: Monkey do. We had gotten home on Sunday night and
- 13:48Speaker 2: we were out riding bike and he just looked at
- 13:50Speaker 2: Nick and he's like, I want my training wheels off.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Nick's like obliged. She's like, okay, let's give it a
- 13:55Speaker 2: whirl if you say so, if you say so, and
- 13:59Speaker 2: did the exact same thing. Within seconds, he was cruising
- 14:02Speaker 2: around and it's he is just the proudest big boy now.
- 14:06Speaker 3: It's so I saw the video and it's amazing that
- 14:09Speaker 3: once you start going, you just get it and then
- 14:10Speaker 3: you're like, oh, this is easy. I got it now.
- 14:13Speaker 3: Did you like strap him up with like pillows and
- 14:14Speaker 3: stuff that first time or nope?
- 14:16Speaker 2: He just had his helmet on and.
- 14:18Speaker 3: He was flying down a sidewalker down the sidewalk. I
- 14:21Speaker 3: remember a long time ago now, but I remember riding
- 14:24Speaker 3: like in the grass to try to figure it out
- 14:26Speaker 3: just in case you fall.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Well, we had thought, cause again he's not even four yet.
- 14:30Speaker 2: He'll be four in one month actually from today, and
- 14:34Speaker 2: he's loving it. I mean, yesterday morning, woke up and it.
- 14:39Speaker 2: He looks over and remember it used to be can
- 14:41Speaker 2: I get a cheese sandwich? And he loved waking up
- 14:44Speaker 2: to his cheese sandwich. That's kind of a thing, don't
- 14:47Speaker 2: we all last couple of days waking up? Can I
- 14:50Speaker 2: go ride my bike? Can I go ride my bike?
- 14:52Speaker 2: I'm like, Oh, you're just it's so cute.
- 14:54Speaker 3: Do you think he is? Right? Now? Okay, well I
- 14:57Speaker 3: actually called your husband Nick before we started talking to her,
- 15:00Speaker 3: so he's on the phone now, so let's find out.
- 15:01Speaker 3: Good morning Nick.
- 15:03Speaker 2: What are you guys up.
- 15:04Speaker 4: To riding bike?
- 15:05Speaker 3: Ride bikes?
- 15:06Speaker 2: Can I talk to Briggsy?
- 15:08Speaker 4: I almost talk you, Briggs?
- 15:14Speaker 2: What are you doing?
- 15:15Speaker 3: Go the herey?
- 15:19Speaker 2: You're riding bikes?
- 15:20Speaker 4: What?
- 15:21Speaker 2: Why are you riding your bike? Hi?
- 15:23Speaker 3: What did you learn to do?
- 15:25Speaker 2: No training wheels?
- 15:27Speaker 3: Yeh oh, there he is. That's adorable.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Hey, Brigsy, Pike wanted to say something to.
- 15:32Speaker 3: You, Briggs. I heard that you don't have training wheels anymore.
- 15:35Speaker 3: That's awesome, Bud, good job. Okay, all right, I come
- 15:41Speaker 3: in with a compliment and I get called a poopy.
- 15:43Speaker 2: Remember, Briggsy, that is bathroom talk. We don't talk like that.
- 15:48Speaker 3: I'm proud of you you ride that bike, look both ways? Okay, yeah, that's.
- 15:52Speaker 2: The key, Briggs. Slow down at the stop sign and
- 15:55Speaker 2: look both ways. This is the kid who needs safety.
- 15:58Speaker 3: Didn't they just go to a safety town a month
- 16:01Speaker 3: or I was just sitting gotcha? All right? Well have fun, Nick,
- 16:04Speaker 3: we'll talk to you later. Amazing listen to him.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Go just cruising a round, I mean waking up and
- 16:11Speaker 2: riding bike. Guess what I'm doing this afternoon as soon
- 16:14Speaker 2: as I do daycare, watching a three year old ride
- 16:16Speaker 2: a bike. And the thing is is now because we
- 16:18Speaker 2: have a park by us. Before I can even get
- 16:21Speaker 2: down the road, they're at the park like I'm gonna
- 16:24Speaker 2: have to I'm gonna have to get my jogging shoes
- 16:26Speaker 2: on and keep up with these.
- 16:27Speaker 1: Kids and Amanda in the morning on Big seven, we.
- 16:32Speaker 3: Talked a lot about, you know, with these Olympians and
- 16:34Speaker 3: when they win, you know, there's all this glory representing
- 16:37Speaker 3: your country. You win a gold medal and then you
- 16:39Speaker 3: win like, you know, five grand or something like that.
- 16:42Speaker 3: So it kind of depends on what country you're from
- 16:44Speaker 3: because some of these smaller ones that don't you know,
- 16:46Speaker 3: rack up the gold medals we do. If you get anything.
- 16:49Speaker 3: It's a huge deal. Like Carlos Yulo, he's an artistic
- 16:54Speaker 3: gymnast from the Philippines and he's killing it. He's got
- 16:57Speaker 3: two gold medals already.
- 16:59Speaker 2: Nice.
- 16:59Speaker 3: So the philippineses like, this guy's our hero, you know.
- 17:02Speaker 3: So now he has been just showered with all kinds
- 17:05Speaker 3: of gifts from people in his home country, the Philippines,
- 17:08Speaker 3: such as a lifetime supply of buffets, unlimited free buffets
- 17:15Speaker 3: in his home country.
- 17:16Speaker 2: This is like your dream come true.
- 17:18Speaker 3: Forget the money, this is this is it.
- 17:21Speaker 2: I don't know how inflation is over there, but a
- 17:23Speaker 2: buffet all you can eat all day, every day, can
- 17:26Speaker 2: you imagine.
- 17:27Speaker 3: I mean, he won't be able to compete in the
- 17:28Speaker 3: next Olympics. But he also maybe he just has a bobber,
- 17:34Speaker 3: getting a bobber, like just a floating bobber. I don't know,
- 17:38Speaker 3: is that an Is that an event?
- 17:40Speaker 2: Who knows? I just made that up. That was the
- 17:43Speaker 2: visual I got. Was him just like Bobby. I'm almost
- 17:47Speaker 2: sure it's not.
- 17:49Speaker 3: But you know, yeah, I guess maybe next one they'll
- 17:54Speaker 3: just throw him in the water and float. Bring me
- 17:57Speaker 3: some Bobby, all right. He also one company gave him
- 18:02Speaker 3: Freemac and Cheese for Life.
- 18:03Speaker 2: Oh gosh, he's.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Also received some money as well, so not all bad.
- 18:08Speaker 2: Do you know what the payday is in the Philippines
- 18:11Speaker 2: because it want to it's got It's not as much
- 18:13Speaker 2: because I remember we were going through this like a
- 18:16Speaker 2: couple of weeks ago.
- 18:17Speaker 3: Well, the US is relatively low.
- 18:19Speaker 2: It was like twenty grand.
- 18:20Speaker 3: Yeah, but you gotta understand, I mean, there was a
- 18:22Speaker 3: ton of people who do win and get close. So
- 18:25Speaker 3: the countries it seemed to be anyway, when I looked
- 18:27Speaker 3: at the list, a country that doesn't have a lot
- 18:29Speaker 3: of winners or pretty much sure they're not gonna have
- 18:31Speaker 3: any their prizes really really high something. Finally this guy
- 18:35Speaker 3: calls them on and they're like, oh geez, actually, how
- 18:37Speaker 3: about some buffets. How's that turn out?
- 18:41Speaker 4: Like in a minute in the morning on a big
- 18:42Speaker 4: nutty eight points seven.
- 18:44Speaker 3: You know, if you're gonna be competing in something like
- 18:45Speaker 3: the Olympics, you gotta be able to get pumped up.
- 18:48Speaker 3: You gotta get pumped and so totally naturally you gotta
- 18:50Speaker 3: have a pump up song. Right.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Takes me back to going to any boising game when
- 18:54Speaker 2: thunderstruck comes up.
- 18:55Speaker 3: I mean, it just it's a moment something about music.
- 18:58Speaker 3: I just remember it. Yeah, wrestling or the football locker
- 19:00Speaker 3: room back in the day, like sitting there with my
- 19:02Speaker 3: little Wachman disc and just the song like Lincoln Park
- 19:06Speaker 3: back in the day, that's oh man, it just you
- 19:08Speaker 3: would get almost too hyped up beforehand, where it's like
- 19:11Speaker 3: you can't even perform because you're like your blood is boiling.
- 19:14Speaker 2: I was a captain of the WDC Rithmets and one
- 19:17Speaker 2: of the years was Let's Get Loud by Jennifer Lopez,
- 19:20Speaker 2: and that was just like that was our song and
- 19:23Speaker 2: it would just get us geeked. I still hear it
- 19:25Speaker 2: and it takes me back definitely. How's that Let's Get Loud?
- 19:30Speaker 2: Let's get that is kind of fun?
- 19:31Speaker 3: Yeah, more of a dance pump pump song, football room song,
- 19:35Speaker 3: but still yeah. The US Olympians, though, they did a
- 19:39Speaker 3: story on what they're listening to to get pumped up,
- 19:41Speaker 3: and some of them I found very interesting, like the heptathlon,
- 19:45Speaker 3: which is I think would that be eight, No, that
- 19:48Speaker 3: would be five, that'd be five things, So not a triathlon,
- 19:52Speaker 3: not a quadrathlon. I think it'd be a I think
- 19:55Speaker 3: nonetheless it's.
- 19:56Speaker 2: Seven different track and field because men two days. Wow.
- 20:00Speaker 3: Anyway, so one of the big Heptathle honors and a
- 20:04Speaker 3: Hall of the US. You know what she listens to
- 20:05Speaker 3: to get pumped up? What's Good Baby by Justin Bieber,
- 20:13Speaker 3: still to this day, pumping people up. I never thought
- 20:15Speaker 3: of it as a pump up song, but I do
- 20:17Speaker 3: feel something listening to it. Then you've got the field
- 20:21Speaker 3: hockey star Kelsey Bing of the United States, and she
- 20:25Speaker 3: listens to I think objectively one of the great pump
- 20:28Speaker 3: up songs of all time.
- 20:30Speaker 2: Oh, I mean this also was a rhythmic in the
- 20:35Speaker 2: beginning of a song which just the build up yere.
- 20:38Speaker 3: I mean, it's literally about having one opportunity sees everything
- 20:43Speaker 3: you ever wanted. So yeah, they listen to lose yourself
- 20:46Speaker 3: by Eminem. Then you've got I got. I got to
- 20:49Speaker 3: give some respect to the men's rowing team these weeks,
- 20:53Speaker 3: and I feel bad. I haven't watched any of the
- 20:54Speaker 3: men's rowing. I haven't seen It turns out they're pretty good.
- 20:57Speaker 3: Their pump up song is tell me, if you know it,
- 21:04Speaker 3: you're probably not kinda anyway. It's a long, long intro,
- 21:07Speaker 3: of course, it's my sacrifice by a little band called Creed.
- 21:11Speaker 3: Wait till it comes it, Wait till it comes it.
- 21:12Speaker 3: You're gonna want to want to freaking kind of has
- 21:18Speaker 3: my arms wide open vibe to it. It could be because
- 21:21Speaker 3: it's the same band I suppose, you know. But that's
- 21:24Speaker 3: that's what's in my head right now. Not even close.
- 21:28Speaker 3: It's a great song, yep, same guy singing, that's for sure.
- 21:32Speaker 2: No, that's great, A little bit low key for my
- 21:36Speaker 2: My pump up song mine for sure is do you
- 21:39Speaker 2: got a little salt and Peppa push it for me?
- 21:42Speaker 3: Do I have push it? Do you have push it?
- 21:45Speaker 2: That one just gets me?
- 21:46Speaker 3: What do you what do you find because that or
- 21:49Speaker 3: like Fergie my Hum's black.
- 21:51Speaker 2: Eyed, people like.
- 21:56Speaker 3: Wow something right is like.
- 21:59Speaker 2: It makes you feel something. But this isn't like pump
- 22:01Speaker 2: me up to go. I'm not ready to go do something.
- 22:05Speaker 2: It's a different different yes.
- 22:09Speaker 3: Now, so what are you in your adult life? Because
- 22:13Speaker 3: you know, once you're done with high school sports, it's over.
- 22:15Speaker 3: What do you have to get pumped up about anymore?
- 22:17Speaker 3: What do you what do you need a pump up
- 22:18Speaker 3: song for now?
- 22:20Speaker 2: To go to the park seventeen times in the day,
- 22:23Speaker 2: go cite yourself back to put a life jacket on
- 22:26Speaker 2: my kids and argue with them seventeen times a day, maybe.
- 22:29Speaker 3: Just looking at the mere sil.
- 22:31Speaker 2: The goggles forty three thousand times in the day, Like get.
- 22:35Speaker 4: A minute in the morning, Come on, get up on dig.
- 22:39Speaker 3: Here's a quick suggestion. If you're watching Olympics and it
- 22:42Speaker 3: creeps into your mind, you know, I think I could
- 22:45Speaker 3: do that. Just don't, okay, because there are a doctor
- 22:47Speaker 3: speaking out right now warning people at home stop trying
- 22:51Speaker 3: to do Olympic stuff.
- 22:53Speaker 2: I have seen so many moms and it did make
- 22:55Speaker 2: me laugh, but I'm like, nope. I I ended up.
- 22:58Speaker 2: Over the weekend. I took a couple of little Vaca
- 23:00Speaker 2: days and we were at one of our friend's house
- 23:02Speaker 2: and they have one of those surf boats pike and
- 23:04Speaker 2: it's like, oh, all you do, Amanda, all you do,
- 23:07Speaker 2: just put your feet, the boat does the work and.
- 23:09Speaker 3: Pulls you up easy enough. Yeah.
- 23:11Speaker 2: I am still sore from just trying to get up
- 23:13Speaker 2: for like basically kind of not even water skiing. I
- 23:17Speaker 2: still feel like I have Franklin Lake in my nose,
- 23:20Speaker 2: like I swallowed so much water all of that, and
- 23:23Speaker 2: I see all these people doing these gymnastics moves trying
- 23:26Speaker 2: to go viral.
- 23:27Speaker 3: Oh my god, if you go skiing like I used
- 23:30Speaker 3: to ski a lot, if I were to now, it
- 23:31Speaker 3: would take you out for days, literally days. You could
- 23:34Speaker 3: not go to work, have to be on disability.
- 23:36Speaker 2: Yes, are still sore, but you know the uh And
- 23:38Speaker 2: I know you haven't been watching a lot of the gymnastics,
- 23:41Speaker 2: but one of the moves I've seen a lot of
- 23:42Speaker 2: people do on TikTok is where you're on the balance. Mean,
- 23:45Speaker 2: but they're just trying to do on the floor and
- 23:46Speaker 2: they put one foot down and then they try to
- 23:48Speaker 2: spin with their one legout. Just stop.
- 23:51Speaker 3: That sounds like a torn acl one. Doctor said. A
- 23:55Speaker 3: woman came in who had a significant shoulder injury after
- 23:58Speaker 3: being lifted up and dropped, being inspired by the women's
- 24:01Speaker 3: rugby team where players are lifted up to catch the
- 24:04Speaker 3: high balls. So don't do that. Also, he saw a
- 24:08Speaker 3: man with a broken wrist inspired to give skateboarding another
- 24:11Speaker 3: try after watching it at the Olympic.
- 24:13Speaker 2: Well, yeah, it's so easy, I mean, look at some mote.
- 24:15Speaker 2: I could probably flip around a few times.
- 24:17Speaker 3: I mean. And they also warned that backflips, you know,
- 24:20Speaker 3: are a wonderful thing to watch for the people who
- 24:22Speaker 3: have practiced them for many years. But don't just try.
- 24:25Speaker 3: I never even had the calm what you want to
- 24:28Speaker 3: call them to try it on a trampoline back in
- 24:30Speaker 3: the day.
- 24:30Speaker 2: You never have a friendship. Yes, it does you backflips
- 24:32Speaker 2: all day. No, I always think I'm gonna break my neck.
- 24:35Speaker 2: My kids love like at night wrestling, doing cartwheels, all
- 24:40Speaker 2: of that, and it has amped up. My daughter wants
- 24:42Speaker 2: to be back in.
- 24:42Speaker 3: Gymnastic, little rough housing.
- 24:44Speaker 2: Little rough housing. So my daughter, it was last summer,
- 24:47Speaker 2: asked if I could do a cartwheel. She still laughs
- 24:50Speaker 2: at me about it because it was like, oh my gosh,
- 24:52Speaker 2: like that is not as easy as I thought. Even
- 24:54Speaker 2: a summersault. Like if I were to tell you right
- 24:56Speaker 2: now to get on the floor and do a summersault,
- 25:00Speaker 2: just what it does to your.
- 25:02Speaker 3: Back well, and it's like the point of entry that's dangerous,
- 25:06Speaker 3: because trust me, I've tried over the years, like after
- 25:08Speaker 3: a couple of couple of beers, just trying to do
- 25:11Speaker 3: a somersault, or I'll just do one it like spontaneously,
- 25:14Speaker 3: and if you hit your head like you got to,
- 25:15Speaker 3: you gotta have a smooth transition into the role otherwise
- 25:19Speaker 3: are gonna hurt yourself.
- 25:20Speaker 2: They kids and then go and do it.
- 25:22Speaker 3: And these these floorists, they are rock hard. So your
- 25:25Speaker 3: your daughter asking you to do a cartwheel and you
- 25:26Speaker 3: were like, oh, yeah, I could do one when I
- 25:28Speaker 3: was twelve.
- 25:29Speaker 2: No big deal. And then I had to think about
- 25:31Speaker 2: it after I hurt so bad. When is the last
- 25:35Speaker 2: time you did any of that? I mean, those aren't
- 25:37Speaker 2: just activities you do anymore.
- 25:38Speaker 3: Cartwheel I am known to have a pretty good cartwheel
- 25:42Speaker 3: for a male. Really, it would be shocked how good
- 25:44Speaker 3: of a cartwheel I can do.
- 25:46Speaker 2: We might have to go Facebook Live for this and.
- 25:48Speaker 3: See what I feel like. This one's better, just you know,
- 25:51Speaker 3: trust me, you.
- 25:52Speaker 4: Know, like an in the morning, Big ninety eight point seven.
- 25:55Speaker 3: Here's a good idea if you have kids, Samanda, this
- 25:58Speaker 3: will be right up your alley. This one of these
- 26:00Speaker 3: annoying TikTok mom people. You know, no, there's no such thing.
- 26:04Speaker 3: She's gone viral for this idea. She had this new thing,
- 26:07Speaker 3: she invented something she calls an all day play date.
- 26:11Speaker 3: That's pretty self explanatory, but the detail she gets into
- 26:14Speaker 3: how it's the perfect thing if you've got like friends
- 26:16Speaker 3: of your own, yes, who you don't really have time
- 26:18Speaker 3: to hang out with a whole lot because you guys
- 26:19Speaker 3: all have kids, but the kids get along. Perfect way
- 26:22Speaker 3: to do it is just one day on a weekend.
- 26:24Speaker 3: Get there in the morning, literally, have lunch, and normally
- 26:28Speaker 3: get to the naptime right and it's like, ah, well,
- 26:30Speaker 3: we got to go home, it's nap time, she says,
- 26:32Speaker 3: Just skip it. Bring a little pack and play or
- 26:34Speaker 3: whatever you got to do, depending on how old your
- 26:36Speaker 3: kid is, and they get to nap together. Then you
- 26:38Speaker 3: get up and you play again. Yes, then you have
- 26:40Speaker 3: dinner and heck, you might even want to keep things rolling,
- 26:44Speaker 3: have you a little soul overnight.
- 26:45Speaker 2: I agree with this one hundred percent, especially if you
- 26:48Speaker 2: have friends with kids the same age. It is just
- 26:50Speaker 2: so much easier, and it's just it's more relaxing because
- 26:53Speaker 2: the kids are playing together. Everybody is comfortable. You do
- 26:56Speaker 2: get a little bit of time to catch up and
- 26:59Speaker 2: do but no matter what if you're trying to do,
- 27:02Speaker 2: let's just say you're going to the park, it's like
- 27:04Speaker 2: you've allotted maybe a thirty minute timeframe. Chances one of
- 27:07Speaker 2: the kids isn't going to be acting appropriately or doing
- 27:11Speaker 2: whatever it is. It's like it's just too much distraction. Yeah,
- 27:13Speaker 2: so I am all about this. Yeah, No, it's a
- 27:15Speaker 2: really good idea. No, absolutely, we do that. And again
- 27:18Speaker 2: it's a lot easier in the summertime. We'll go to
- 27:20Speaker 2: the lake and all the kids will be playing and
- 27:22Speaker 2: you have all day to just Yes, oh nice for
- 27:28Speaker 2: letting them run around and do when they're doing activities together.
- 27:31Speaker 2: I think that is completely genius.
- 27:33Speaker 3: I'm afraid that I'm missing my window of like having
- 27:36Speaker 3: a kid and then having it be the same age
- 27:39Speaker 3: as like my friend's kids, because they're already having kids.
- 27:41Speaker 3: So now I'll be lucky if I, like, let's say, wait,
- 27:43Speaker 3: a kid in a couple of years or something might
- 27:45Speaker 3: be the same as as my friend's third kid.
- 27:47Speaker 2: You know, yeah, but there's nothing wrong with that. Also,
- 27:49Speaker 2: there's something to be said about being the last.
- 27:51Speaker 3: One for you to say, you're not the loser that
- 27:53Speaker 3: doesn't have any friends with the kid the same.
- 27:55Speaker 2: Chear me out. Okay, now all of your friends' kids
- 27:59Speaker 2: want like the parents miss that stage, so they're like
- 28:03Speaker 2: all the baby cuddles, the snuggles that they're they're like.
- 28:07Speaker 3: Jones And for that so you're gonna see my unborn baby.
- 28:11Speaker 3: You're just gonna be passing out to strangers like that.
- 28:14Speaker 2: No, they'll just be really excited, yes, and happy for you.
- 28:17Speaker 2: So it's maybe a little bit more beneficial. You never know.
- 28:20Speaker 3: Yeah, we didn't have kids. Oh you miss his brightside.
- 28:24Speaker 1: Taking a Man in the Morning, Dig ninety seven, Big.
- 28:27Speaker 3: Ninety eight point seven Today's Variety, biking a Mandy in
- 28:31Speaker 3: the morning.
- 28:32Speaker 2: Oh gosh, breaking news. I had brought it up at
- 28:34Speaker 2: the top of the hour, but Vice President Harris has
- 28:36Speaker 2: picked Governor Tim Waltz as her running mate for twenty
- 28:39Speaker 2: twenty four. That is official, no more just inside sources.
- 28:42Speaker 3: Yeah, so keep it locked here on Big ninety eight
- 28:43Speaker 3: point seven for wall to wall coverage of the presidential race.
- 28:48Speaker 3: Can you believe it's almost here? It's just such a
- 28:50Speaker 3: long drawn out process. I mean, I feel like we
- 28:52Speaker 3: were just in the middle of a caucus and here
- 28:59Speaker 3: we are. It's almost campaign. It's always election time. When
- 29:03Speaker 3: do we add to the polls? Amanda, get off the floor.
- 29:07Speaker 2: November Wall to Wall coverage. Keep following us for more
